A U.S. Air Force colonel named Rickman visited Yerba Buena. He was the senior aide to General Hunt who represented the American military's interest in the Oversight Commission. We even opened the wormhole, and the colonel got to see it from the observation room.

We had not sent any timers through since that first time; we were still studying the timer in and out. We would have to send more timers through under different varying periods.

In the meantime, Dr. Jensen was working on another project- tracking wormholes through the multiverse. The Commerce Secretary told us we would need to be able to have the capacity to open wormholes to specific dimensions before we can send someone through.

I thought of my companions. How different things would be if we had heeded this advice.

Perhaps in another dimension or two, our doubles did in fact heed this advice.
