I was in my ofice in the University for half the day in case my students wanted to see me. I spent it grading the exams we had last week.

Tomorrow is the american holiday of Thanksgiving. From what I read of this world's histiory, it is virtually identical to Thanksgiving in my world.

My world. I wonder how things are there, what the differences are. For all I knew, they repainted the Golden Gate Bridge blue.

I heard from the staff. Mr. Bennish was heading to Tahoe on a ski trip; I recalled there was heavy snow in the Sierras three weeks ago.

I did read a notice that the Commerce Secretary and the Oversight Commission was reviewing candidates for the first human explorer to slide. If everythuing goes well, we should have a candidate by early next year.
