December 23, 1996

Something great happened.

Mrs. Mallory- the Mrs. Mallory of this world- invited me to have Christmas lunch with her.

I of course accepted. I did not want to be alone.

I did recall last Christmas. We spent Christmas morning in a world that was technologically one hundred years behind my world; there was neither Golden Gate Bridge or Bay Bridge. We went to a Christmas morning church service in San Francisco. We did encounter a double of Wade Welles; she was a nun.

We slid that day. and we ended up in another world that was very much alike; I guess we had not traveled far interdimensionally that time. We were there for a few days and we would celebrate New Year's Day 1996 in that world.

It is hard to believe that was just a little less than a year ago. I was sliding from world to world then.

We later encountered Miss Welles's double on THAT world; she was a prostitute.

Quinn Mallory, Rembrandt Brown, and I all had a good laugh.

I miss them.
