August 9, 1997

I spent the day at Yerba Buena, reading some of the books and magazineas and newspapers brought by our interdimensional explorers.

I read from a newspaper called the San Francisco Telegram, which did not exist in this world nor my world. I was able to read a lot of things, including someone named Richard H. Bryan being the President of the United States.

I had to remember what is printed in magazines and newspapers and history books is not a complete picture of the world; twenty months' experience taught me that lesson.
