After dropping off the last of the graded papers to the office at the University, I drove my car across the Bay Bridge to Yerba Buena. I had s to set aside teaching for now.

I did go around the facility, taking one more look at the sliding generator, supporting equipment, and all the labs. I knew we were studying technologies brought from other worlds, which could make lives easier for the people of this world.

After thirty minutes, I got started on studying the data gathered from scans of the old sliding generator this world's Quinn built.
