Jacob whispered something to her and she nodded excitedly.

"Mr. Xue?" Ziwu said.

"Yes, my lady." He said.

"Jacob is taking me to Forks for a bit," Ziwu said.

"Alright." He said.

"Don't worry. I'll take care of her." Jacob said.

"Okay." He said.

They all went to the phantom and got inside. The driver returned Mr. Xue to the mansion and headed out to Forks.

Jacob grabbed her hand as they sat in the backseat. She threaded her fingers with his as the car entered the city.

'Where are we going?" She asked.

"I have to go get some things from Newton Outdoors shop," Jacob answered.

"Okay." She said.

A few minutes later, the car stopped outside the shop. He got out and helped Ziwu out. When someone walked in, Michael Newton was behind the counter doing inventory inside the store. He saw Jacob walk in with a beauty on his arm. He watched as the beauty pulled out a fan from the sleeve of her dress and snapped it open. He whispered something to her before he went to get something from the back of the store. She looked at the travel mugs at one of the displays.

"Are you looking for something specific?" Michael asked making her jump.

"You scared me." She said.

"I'm sorry. That wasn't my intention." Michael said. "You're not from around here are you?"

"No." She said.

"Might I know your name?" He asked.

"Ziwu." She said as Jacob came back.

Jacob went to the counter with some rope and a couple of lanterns. Michael rang up everything, and Jacob paid for it all. Jacob grabbed the bag of supplies, and they left the store. As they got in the car, Ziwu's stomach growled loudly. She blushed red as she covered her stomach.

"Let's get you something to eat," Jacob said.

Jacob whispered an address to the driver, and he took off to a local market in Forks. The town folk were shopping around in the market. The pastor's daughter, one of Isabella's closest friends, was shopping with her mother when she saw an ice-blue phantom pull up in the parking lot beside the market. The driver exited the car and walked to the back door. He opened the door and Jacob Black stepped out. She noticed that the clothes he wore were different than what he usually wears. He reached back into the car and a pair of white silk shoes hit the ground. A young woman with silver-white hair got out in a traditional hanfu dress. She wore a fur-lined cloak around her neck.

"Come with me," Jacob said leading her into the market.

He led her over to a stall that sold food and Ziwu was amazed by all the food.

"What can I get for you sweetheart?" The man behind the stand asked.

"Jacob? Can you pick something small for me?" Ziwu asked.

"Sure." He said. "Can I have a grilled chicken sandwich and one pulled pork sandwich?" He asked the man.

"Of course." He said.

They waited for their food as she was looking around at some of the other stalls. She saw a Chinese man selling some kind of blue and pink chips.

"Hey Jacob? What are those?" Ziwu asked pointing out the stall.

"Oh. That's Mr. Lin." Jacob said. "he comes here like twice a month."

"What does he sell?" She asked.

"Shrimp chips. They sound a little gross, but they are good." Jacob said.

"Can we get some?" She asked.

"Sure." He said.

About 10 minutes later, the man came back with their sandwiches wrapped in foil. Jacob paid for the sandwiches and they went to Mr. Lin's stand.

"Hello," Ziwu said in Mandarin to Mr. Lin.

Mr. Lin looked up in surprise that someone had talked to him in his native language. He looked at the young woman and bowed his head in respect.

"Hello, young miss. What can I get for you?" He asked.

"Can we get two bags of your shrimp chips?" She asked.

"Of course. Which color would you like?" He asked.

"One pink and one blue." She said as she reached into the sleeve of her dress.

Mr. Lin went behind the counter and pulled out two bags of chips. Ziwu pulled out her blue pouch and took out a few dollars from it.

"How much for the chips?" She asked.

"$5." He said.

She counted out the money and gave it to him. He gave her the chips after getting the money from her. They walked away from the stall after thanking Mr. Lin. Jacob took her over to a picnic table so they could eat. They sat down across from each other and started eating. As they were eating, a small dog came running up to them and started barking at her.

"Hello there." She said putting down her sandwich.

She picked up the dog and looked at it. It was tan-colored with a furry coat. She checked the dog to see that it was a she and that she had no collar. She saw that the dog was a Pekingese.

"It looks like she likes you," Jacob said.

"I guess I could use a little friend to keep me company at home." She said

"What are you going to name her?" He asked.

"I'll name her Mei Lin." She said.

"We will get her a collar and everything she needs when we finish eating." He said.

After eating their food, they went to a nearby pet shop to get everything for her. Ziwu picked out a pink and purple colored color for the dog and Jacob had a silver bone-shaped tag made for it with the dog's name on it. After buying some other needs for the dog they left the store. After they finished at the market they headed home to Ziwu's house. When they arrived back at the mansion, Mr Xue met them at the door.

"Welcome back miss." Mr. Xue said taking off her cloak.

"Thank you," Ziwu said.

She gave Mei Lin to Mr Xue and asked him to bathe her, then led Jacob out to the garden to talk to him. They went to the Koi pond and sat on the stone bench.

"Can you tell me about her?" Ziwu asked.

"Her?" Jacob asked.

"The one who gave you this," Ziwu said pointing to his amulet.

"Oh," Jacob said. "Her name is Isabella Swan. She and I grew up together. She was my best friend." He said.

"What happened to her?" Ziwu asked.

"You can say we kind of grew apart after she moved back to Forks over a year ago." He said. "She met and fell in love with a vampire who lives on the outskirts of Forks."

"Where is she?" Ziwu asked.

"I don't know. I haven't seen or heard from her since their wedding a couple of months ago." Jacob said. "I kinda felt down about not hearing from her. That is until I met you." He said.

Ziwu looked at him in surprise. He turned to her and took her hands in his.

"I used to think I was in love with her but that changed when I met you. Even though we haven't known each other that long, I feel like we really get along better than I ever had with her." Jacob said.

"Really?" Ziwu asked.

"Yeah," Jacob said.

He stood up and helped her up. She looked up at him as he pulled her close to him and he pressed a kiss to her forehead. Mr. Xue was checking on things in the kitchen when he saw Jacob and Ziwu in the garden. He was very relieved that the princess had possibly found a potential boyfriend. He smiled to himself as he watched as they shared a hug as they looked up at the moon.
