Ed and Al were in the Hogwarts courtyard, doing their homework.

"I don't know about you, but I don't see any enemies to fight." Edward looked for enemies. Unfortunately, he was too quick to judge. Several enemies in black cloaks armed with swords and spears came charging at Ed and Al.

"Expelliarmus!" Ed knocked a spear out of one of the enemies' hands. Al knocked 5 spears out of five enemies' hands, while Ed knocked 4 more swords out of enemies' hands. A lightning beam came from one of the enemies' swords. Ed blocked the attack and stunned the opponent. Al did the same with another enemy. Al and Ed repeated the process four more times.

"That was tiring, but who were those enemies?" Ed asked.

"I don't know." Al answered.

Noir Phantom, September 10th, 1999

Madame Noir was in her ship, the Noir Phantom, sitting on her purple throne, looking fabulous. She had the body of a model for sure. After her servants combed her short black hair in a bun, she got up while her flowing black dress draped on the ground. The clack of her black heels could be heard as she walked. She stared at one of her handmaids with her black and purple eyeshadow, giving off a gothic vibe.

"Miranda, give me my book of demons!" Miranda, the handmaid in the purple robe, handed Noir the demon book.

"In order to conquer the world, I need to attract the youth." She turned the pages of the book and found Mysterial, the Grand Wizard Demon. She chanted the spell to summon him.

"What is thy bidding, Madame?" The Wizard asked.

"Go to Hogwarts and brainwash the youth to obey me!" Mysterial teleported away.

Back at Hogwarts, before Draco could begin Potions class, a purple cloaked demon appeared.

"Sorry, bozo." The demon wizard taunted. "I am the Potions master here." He threw Draco out of the room. "All right class." He began. "Today we are making the Poison Potion."

"But teacher, the Poison potion is forbidden!" Mai interrupted.

"SILENCE!" Mysterial snapped. "40 points will be deducted from Ravenclaw for that nonsense!" Mysterial handed out the recipe. Ed and Al tried to follow the recipe as close as possible, but they were missing one ingredient. A live human heart.

"We completed the potion, sir." Ed told Mysterial.

"I see its missing one ingredient. A human heart." Ed and Al stood by their word that they would never harm humans.

"We will never harm humans, even if it is for a potion!" Ed shouted.

"So, you're doing this the hard way, hmm?" Ed grabbed Mysterial and they warped to the castle courtyard.

"Avada Kedava STREAM!" Mysterial used his hand to cast a variant of the killing curse. Ed cast a red beam from his wand, colliding with Mysterial's purple beam. Ed held on, while his red beam swallowed up Mysterial's purple beam.

"Take this!" Ed grabbed Mysterial, turning him to glass. He never really had this power before, but he loved it. Mysterial shattered into tiny glass shards. Harry came to investigate.

Headmaster's office

"That power you just used." Harry explained. "I had a power like that when I fought Voldemort attached to Quirrell."

"What was it?" Ed wanted to know how it was possible.

"You were marked, like me." Harry explained. "I was marked by my mother's love, but your mark is even stronger. You were marked by your mother's love, your father's love, and the people you cared about that are no longer with you." Ed recalled Nina Tucker and Maes Hughes's deaths, and their love may have fueled his attack.

"I see." Ed smiled. "Who were those black cloaked men and that purple cloaked guy?"

"They were demons working for a woman known as Madame Noir." Harry explained. "It turns out Voldemort and Father from your world both worked for her. Both our worlds are at stake now, so its up to us to work together to stop this mad woman." Ed nodded in agreement.

"Remember, help will always be given at Hogwarts." Ed went to see Al to attend the next class.
