"This is the Hyuga Ointment, it can help aid in the healing of cuts, bruises, broken bones, and torn muscles, and it also serves as a good moisterizer and disnfectant." Hiashi explained to Shizuka as she wrote down the ways the ointment could be used. 2 of the maids were carrying boxes filled with small containers of the ointment.

The RV was almost fixed.

Naruto and Rei were now both back to 95%, and were back in fighting condition and strength, though bone had soreness that would need a few more days of medication before they were fully healed. Hiashi looked towards Naruto, who was helping with the RV repairs now, which was speeding up the process greatly in how fast it was repaired. He wished that Naruto had stayed injured for a couple more days, just a couple of days, so that he could talk more with him.

Still, it was selfish of him.

"Hyuga-san?" Shizuka asked when she noticed that the older man had trailed off and was staring at Naruto had at work in fully repairing the damage to the underside of the RV. He sighed and looked at her. "... since we're leaving out winter supplies with you, I was just wondering if we could take some proper blankets with us." Shizuka wanted them to remain warm at night without relying on leaving the RV running.

She hadn't mentioned this to Naruto yet, but if they got sick by not staying warm, then she was just worried that they wouldn't be able to get better quickly. Now that there were only 6 of them in the RV, it would be a lot less cramped, and it wouldn't get as hot. It was still Spring at the moment, so the nights could get chilly, and without a huge amount of human body heat, it could lead to minor sickness that could impact them.

"Take what you need." Hiashi looked and watch Saeko bringing Naruto and the Hyuga mechanic both water to refresh them, since they were hard at work.

She was a good woman.

Good woman or not, that didn't mean he wasn't mad at her for being interested in Naruto, but at the same time he understood that Naruto was a single man. Just because he himself had stayed single for the rest of his life after his wife passed away, didn't mean he could put those same standards onto a younger man like Naruto. Naruto deserved the chance to have children of his own, and to become a loving father.

'He would make an excellent, loving father.' Hiashi watched as Alice brought Naruto a tool he asked for, and even though she got the tool wrong, he just laughed it off, rubbed her head, and told her which tool he wanted and what it looked like. He acted like such a good elder brother, that it was hard to imagine him as anything but a loving father as well. '... several of these women are good women. I'm just very biased against them.' Hiashi glanced at Shizuka as well.

She was a good woman, kind of an airhead, but still very motherly and caring for others. As much of an airhead as she was, she was still a nurse with medical experience and a college degree. That meant that she was smart enough to get into medical school and pass, and with a body like the one she had giving birth would be easier for her. He could easily see Naruto one day showing some kind of interest in the woman.

Even Saya, the genius with a bad attitude, was caring in her own way.

"Hyuga-san."

"Sorry, my head isn't here right now, talk to the maids about anything you need. If we can spare it, you may take it." Hiashi started to walk off. He passed his daughter, who had been watching Naruto work with much the same eyes as himself. He could see that Hanabi wanted Naruto to stay long. "Go to him... spend some quality time with him before he leaves." Hiashi whispered to her, before patting her shoulder a few times.

She nodded her head.

"Hey Onii-chan, let me help you with that!"

-That Night-

"Okay, so we have the medicine, we have less clothes than before, but several changes of underwear. He's got 2 weeks worth of water and food... blankets, and a few emergency gas cans, and some spare batteries for the RV." Shizuka was in the RV, and she was going through the cabinets and going through the checklist that Naruto had given her. The RV fridge was stocked with food, the tank for the shower was filled, but Naruto had told her they wouldn't be showering in the RV. Instead the RV's water tank was going to be used for water storage in general.

It was strange to see the RV so clean on the inside, the Hyuga maids had scrubbed the inside of it and made it shine it was so beautiful. She opened the fridge and saw a wide variety of wild picked fruits and vegetables, and in the freezer there was frozen meat from both deer and bear that had been saved for them.

The medicine cabinet was filled with Hyuga Ointment, and she had the Zombie Medicine in a bag that she was going to be keeping on her person.

"... and... it starts." Naruto was in the driver's seat, and when he turned the key, the engine roared to life. He grinned to himself when nothing went wrong, showing that the repairs were all good. None of the emergency lights were on, showing there were not pressing concerns at the moment. "How is your checklist going?" Naruto asked Shizuka as he glanced back at her. He turned the engine off.

"I just checked the spare ammo for each of you guys' guns, and it's all there." Shizuka closed the ammo cabinet, well it was a plate cabinet, but it was now being used for ammo to reload the guns with. It wasn't a huge amount, they weren't about to take down armies, but the guns they were suppose to use were only really for emergencies anyway. "Paper and pens... rope, knives, toilet paper and towels, and... a lot of soap." Shizuka finished off the checklist.

The only thing that didn't make sense at first was the paper and pens, until she remembered that Naruto used Kurama to send messages to people, and then that clicked into place. He needed that stuff to keep others informed with his messages.

"Toothbrush and toothpaste?" Naruto asked her.

"Got it." Shizuka mentioned, it was in the bathroom, not in the main part of the RV. There was subtle silence for a moment, with only the two adults of the group with each other without any teenagers. "Do... you think humanity really has a chance?" Shizuka asked. The cure existed, but so much of humanity must have already been killed by this point. It was hard to imagine they would ever live in a world without zombies again, not in her lifetime.

"Yeah."

"For real?" Shizuka wanted more.

"I mean, yeah. As long as people don't give up, and we work together, it's possible." Naruto didn't have some kind of speech at the moment to give her. The best he could do was just reassure her that he didn't believe that this was the end. The second you gave up hope was the second things started to truly go downhill.

"That's pretty corny." Shizuka giggled.

She felt a little better now.

"What brought this on?" Naruto asked with a glance in her direction.

"I don't know... I mean, when you think about it. What really are the chances of repopulating at this point... I just don't see how humans can come back from this." Shizuka saw hope thanks to Naruto, but at the same time it seemed so far away.

Naruto hummed.

"I mean, even a group of 2,000 humans is kind of enough to repopulate as long as you're careful to not fuck your 1st or 2nd cousins. Also, there are some places in the world where I think the zombies have a worse chance of surviving compared to the humans. I mean, you have places like the USA where there are more guns than people, and a lot of people there know how to shoot." Naruto couldn't see a place like that falling long term to zombie situation once the initial panic wore off. There was a bullet for every zombie and then some, and people around every corner that wouldn't hesitate to blast a brain out.

Shizuka now felt way better when she heard that.

"Think we can contact the US army that is stationed nearby for help? I have a friend who works for the Japanese armed forces... you can have Kurama track her down, and lead her too us right?" Shizuka asked with excitement.

"Kurama needs her scent to track her down, and he needs to know kind of what she looks like. Still, if both of those conditions are met, he can find her in a few weeks at most." Naruto had trained his pet fox very well. The RV moved slightly when somebody walked into it, and he saw Hanabi had entered the RV, and she looked right at him. He stood up and approached her. "What's up Hanabi, do you need help with something?"

He smiled when she didn't talk.

He wrapped his arms around her, and she put her forehead against his chest.

"... Stay safe."

"Okay." Naruto promised her, and he pat her back and held the back of her head. That was all she had to say to him, and he thought that might be the case, seeing as earlier she wanted to be around him, but was pretty quiet. That was unlike her, she was a bit of a spitfire, so her being quiet meant that she had a lot on her mind that was keeping her so.

"Don't let those bimbos replace my sister."

"Nobody can, or will, ever replace Hinata." Naruto promised Hanabi, and with her head on his chest, she found his warmth comforting. "Hinata will always be with us, watching over us. Promise me you'll keep Kohta and Asami safe while I'm gone, will you?" Naruto slowly pushed Hanabi off of him, and saw her eyes were watery, but no tears yet.

She forced a smile.

"A Fatty and a Clutz, you're really expecting a lot from me. While I have to get Kohta in shape and keep Asami from breaking stuff, you get surrounded by bitches with big tits. Sounds like a fair trade I guess." Hanabi rubbed the wateriness from her eyes, and her forced smile started to turn into the real thing. She nodded her head, and punched him in the chest a few times. "Come on, lets spar... I want to see how far my martial arts have come since the last time we sparred." Hanabi grinned at him.

-The Next Morning-

"Good morning Hanabi... hmmmm?" Hiashi was a little shocked.

"Good morning Father." Hanabi greeted him back with a black eye and a fat lower lip. Suffice to say, her spar against Naruto the previous night did not end in her favor in the slightest. Hiashi looked at the fist shaped bruise that was on her right cheek, and he measured it with his mind.

He nodded.

"Well... how well did you do?" Hiashi asked her.

"I got my butt kicked, and I still couldn't touch him." Hanabi hissed with her father touched her bruised face. She had said her goodbyes to Naruto with that spar, and she didn't care enough to say goodbye to anyone else that was going with him. At the moment, Kohta and Asami were saying their goodbyes to the group. "Father, when this is all over. I want to continue my training, and take over my big sister's role as heir to the family." Hanabi gazed at him with eyes filled with a deep passion.

He wasn't surprised.

"Good, we will spar every night before you retire to bed. I expect you to do better against your brother thge next time you see him." Hiashi turned and started to walk away. He had a proud smile that he didn't want to show to his daughter just yet, almost giddy that she was taking her duties as heiress even more seriously than before. 'She finally got the closure she needed, and now she's moving forward once again. Thank you Naruto... and thank you Hinata, please watch over us and grant us strength,' Hiashi looked out the window and up at the sun.

He could also see Naruto, and his back to the Hyuga estate.

Naruto glanced back at him, and nodded in his direction.

That was all the goodbye they needed.
