Ch:-3 [THE AFTERMATH]

Scene:

After Aizen's overwhelming display of power, Light and Ryuk are left standing in the room, the air still heavy with tension. Aizen, seemingly indifferent, continues to survey them both with a detached, almost patronizing gaze.

Ryuk: (Looking at Light, his eyes uncertain.) "You know, Light... I've been thinking." (His usual mischievous grin is gone, replaced by a look of genuine concern.) "I'm gonna head back to the Shinigami Realm for a bit."

Light: (Frowning, his mind still spinning from Aizen's revelation.) "Back to the Shinigami Realm? Why now?" (His tone is sharp, but it's clear he's still trying to process everything he's just learned.) "What for?"

Ryuk: (Nods, his eyes shifting uneasily as he speaks.) "I need to talk to the Shinigami King. What we've just seen… it's beyond anything I've ever felt before. I need answers."

Light: (Raises an eyebrow, still confused.) "You think the Shinigami King can help you with that? If this Aizen truly is some sort of god, then—"

Ryuk: (Cutting him off.) "You've got your own problems, Light. I've got to deal with mine." (He turns to face the space before him, as if preparing to leave, but then hesitates.) "If you want to know what I saw… what I felt… trust me, you wouldn't believe it unless you saw it for yourself."

With a final glance back at Light, Ryuk flaps his wings and begins to fade away, vanishing into the air. Light watches, unsure of what to make of it all, but eventually returns to his seat, his mind still tangled in the mess of events.

Shinigami Realm:

Ryuk materializes in the dark, swirling void of the Shinigami Realm. The air is thick with an eerie, heavy presence. It's an unsettling, empty place where time seems to move slowly. Ryuk hovers briefly, his expression thoughtful, before heading towards a small gathering of familiar faces—other shinigami, each with their distinct features and odd personalities.

A few of Ryuk's shinigami friends are standing together near a large, floating stone structure that houses the Shinigami King. They turn to look at him as he approaches, the usual playful expressions on their faces quickly fading into curiosity.

Shinigami 1 (Yoru): (Leans against a rock, grinning.) "Well, well, Ryuk. Back so soon? You must've had some fun."

Shinigami 2 (Uru): (Chuckles.) "Yeah, you're always up to something. So, what's it this time? Another human with a Death Note? Or did you get bored and want a snack?"

Ryuk: (His usual playful grin is absent, replaced by a serious look.) "You guys aren't gonna believe this... I just met someone... someone who's not like anything we've ever seen before."

Yoru: (Raises an eyebrow, his tone mocking.) "Not like anything we've ever seen? Come on, Ryuk, you've seen a lot. What's so special about this one?"

Ryuk: (His expression darkens slightly, his voice low and serious.) "His name's Aizen Sosuke. He's a shinigami, but not like us. He's... different. He's got power that makes our abilities look like a joke."

Uru: (Laughs, clearly not taking him seriously.) "A shinigami? Power that makes our abilities look like a joke? Ryuk, you've been hanging out with too many humans. They're messing with your head."

Ryuk: (Sighs, but his eyes remain intense. He floats closer to them.) "No, I'm serious. This guy... he's not like us. He has... immortality. He can't be killed by a Death Note."

Yoru: (Bursts into laughter.) "Immortality? Come on, Ryuk. There's no such thing. You've been spending too much time in the human world, haven't you? You're mixing up your facts."

Ryuk: (Glares at them, his usually carefree demeanor replaced with determination.) "I'm telling you, I'm not lying. I saw it with my own eyes. I wrote his name in the Death Note, and nothing happened. He didn't die. Then, he showed me his Powerfull pressure… it was so intense, I almost couldn't breathe. It was... different. Way different from anything we've ever felt. The power was unreal."

The other shinigami fall silent, exchanging wary looks. Ryuk's expression is dead serious, and it's clear that something about his demeanor is making them uneasy.

Uru: (Frowning, his usual smirk disappearing.) "Wait, you're telling us that a shinigami... didn't die from a Death Note? And he can produce that kind of power?"

Yoru: (Pauses, narrowing his eyes, but still skeptical.) "That's... impossible. No shinigami can defy the Death Note. We're all bound by its rules."

Ryuk: (Hovering closer, his voice firm.) "I know what I felt, Yoru. You might think I'm crazy, but I swear, this guy is something else. He's not like us."

Yoru: (Exhales through his nose, running a hand through his spiky hair.) "So you expect us to believe this shinigami, this... Aizen, is some sort of god? Some kind of immortal? Come on, Ryuk, you've been around long enough to know that sounds too ridiculous."

Ryuk: (Eyes narrowing, his wings twitching in frustration.) "I know it sounds crazy. But I'm telling you, this guy is dangerous. He doesn't play by the same rules."

The shinigami fall silent, the weight of Ryuk's words sinking in. Finally, Yoru speaks, his tone more serious now, though his eyes still hold a trace of doubt.

Yoru: "Alright, Ryuk. If you're not messing with us, then you need to go see the Shinigami King. He'll know if what you're saying is true. But let me tell you right now… if you're lying, he's not going to like it."

Uru: (Grinning, but with a glint of worry in his eyes.) "Yeah, you're probably going to get your ass handed to you. He doesn't take kindly to false information."

Ryuk: (Nods, though his expression is grim.) "I know. But I'm serious. Something's wrong, and if we don't figure it out, Aizen might be a threat to all of us."

Yoru: (Sighing, shaking his head.) "Fine. Go to the Shinigami King. But don't expect us to believe this fairy tale until we see it for ourselves."

Ryuk: (His voice firm, determined.) "I'll go. I'll tell him everything. I'm not lying."

With that, Ryuk turns and begins to head toward the massive, dark structure where the Shinigami King resides, his wings beating steadily. The other shinigami watch him go, their skepticism still hanging heavy in the air. They mutter amongst themselves, half-expecting Ryuk to return with a bruised ego and a good story to tell.

Yoru: (Smirking as he watches Ryuk leave.) "Well, this should be interesting. Maybe the Shinigami King will have some new ways of showing Ryuk just how much of an idiot he is for believing this nonsense."

Uru: (Chuckles.) "Yeah, let's see what kind of punishment he gets for telling a story like that."

--

Ryuk's inner monologue: "I know this sounds insane. But I'm telling the truth. Aizen is no joke. If the Shinigami King believes me, maybe we'll have a chance. But if not... I don't think I want to be around when he finds out what's really going on."

Ryuk's wings beat faster, his eyes set ahead with determination. He was about to meet the Shinigami King and reveal the truth about Aizen—a truth that could change everything
