Hey hey hey Emison babes. I tried to get this next chapter to you as quickly as possible considering the bomb that was dropped at the end of chapter ten. This chapter is in Alison's POV. Enjoy!

In response to the review(s): •Packersgirl492 , Mental health is definitely something people should talk about. Thankfully, our generation and the generation below us has moved mountains recently in terms of addressing mental health. It can get very lonely and scary if you keep it all bottled up inside. Phew, -30 degrees? Colorado gets cold but not that cold. Yikes! Do you Wisconsinites ski and snowboard? Most of us Coloradians are up on the mountain during our winters. Also, I wouldn't have guessed that Wisconsin isn't fully a red state. That's probably ignorance on my part though. I grew up in a very small, rural town...which is extremely conservative. I visited about a month ago and there was a Trump rally being held on their Main Street. *Face Palm*. I can escape the trumpers most of the year though aside from major holidays with my family lol. For the most part, Colorado is a very blue state thanks to the front range near Denver that has most of our voters. Our governor is incredible too, so that makes a huge difference. That's awesome you're teaching! I come from a family of educators, so I know how draining the job description can be. It can be very rewarding, but also extremely tough. So props to you for sharing your knowledge! I'm happy you like the poetry at the beginning of the chapter! I think I like adding it there instead of in the chapters because most of the poetry doesn't include commas or periods...so I was worried it would be hard to read. Spencer will definitely be sticking around in the story. I love her protectiveness of Emily. Also, I won't comment on the rest of your reviews...this chapter will answer them ;). Thanks for your review! See you next time.

Chapter Eleven: Gambling

"Life is too short for games unless it's a game of cards.

Don't text back right away; if you like them, pretend you don't;

and don't you dare say I love you first.

Well screw all that.

I will text you back in three seconds; I will tell you that I like

you; and if I love you, I'll tell you every chance I get.

Life is unpredictable, and I'd rather play every card as honestly

as I can than have a deck full of regrets and what-ifs."

-a poem from Pillow Thoughts by Courtney Peppernell

The same day,

Alison slammed her car door shut in frustration. The blonde was too proud to show tears in Emily's room, but they started pouring down her cheeks now that she was alone. She hit her steering wheel over and over with anger until she couldn't bare the stinging in her hands anymore. How could she?! Alison was pissed that Emily decided to go on a date with Paige. How could Emily go on a date with her? Why does she get to go on a date with Emily? She's fucking ugly and she gets to have gorgeous Emily. Fuck that. Way to set the bar fucking low Emily. Jesus Christ you're a goddamn model and you're going on a date with her?! Alison put her car in drive and sped away from the Fields' residence. She didn't want Emily or one of her parents to see her having a full on breakdown in their driveway. The blonde told Emily she was late to go see Hanna, but that was lie. She couldn't stand to look at Emily any longer. It hurt too much. Alison knew she wasn't being fair to her friend. The blonde knew that she was upset about the date for a completely different reason than what she told Emily. Alison couldn't tell Emily the real reason of course...the real reason being that she likes Emily...she likes her as more than a friend. Alison knew she could barely admit that truth to herself, and after everything she said to Emily that night after work, there was no way she could back track from that. Alison didn't want to back track from those words she said, but she was so close to telling Emily the truth. Common sense kicked in, and Alison turned back to her self-defense mechanism. She used her words to slice like a double edged sword, and she escaped another situation with Emily yet again. I hurt her again. I left her again. Goddamnit!! I keep fucking everything up with her.

Alison had no destination in mind, but somehow she found herself pulling up to the Rosewood lookout. She was lost in angry thoughts the whole drive, and it was almost as if her body went into auto-pilot and took her there. Alison wanted nothing more than to stay in that bedroom and say: "Why am I so upset?! I'm upset because I love you! I'm upset because she doesn't deserve you, Emily! I do! I want you!" Alison slammed her car door shut again, this time getting out of her vehicle. She paced in front of the Kissing Rock until her hands stopped shaking. The blonde finally got herself under a little bit of control and sat down on the rock. She ran both of her hands through her hair and laid her head in her hands. Why do I feel this way? Why do I have to love her? God I think I've fallen in love with her. This can't be happening. This can't be real. I probably looked so desperate and jealous. She probably thinks I'm a goddamned lunatic. Fuck! Alison stood back up from the rock and started pacing again. The blonde was so angry and scared she couldn't bring herself to sit still. She picked up a small stone and threw it off of the ledge with all her might. Alison let out a blood-curtailing scream into the abyss, trying to release all of her pain. Her tears came back in full force, running down her face. She squatted down onto her knees, unable to stop the sobs that were emanating from her body. She held herself as she cried, wishing everything to go away. Wishing all her feelings for Emily to go away. Wishing Paige to go away. All of it. Alison buried her head into her knees as she broke down in a way she hasn't let herself do in years. Thoughts of her messed up family came to the forefront of her mind...her parent's divorce...her mother's drinking...everything. Her family hadn't felt like home for years now, and her own house hasn't felt like a home either. Emily became that substitute. Ever since the brunette came into her life, Emily became her comfort...her peace...her safe place...her home. Now Alison felt like Emily was getting ripped away from her. The blonde knew deep down she was being dramatic, and that Emily wasn't really completely out of her life, but she was angry, scared, and jealous. That fucking bitch is taking her away from me, and I can't do anything about it. Why can't I do anything about it? Oh yeah, because you're a pussy. You're scared to tell the person you love that you're in love with her. Because she's a girl. You're more scared of losing your reputation than losing the most important person in your life. How fucking stupid am I? Ugh. Maybe I'm not stupid. Maybe I'm smart. I can't date a girl. Not me. Alison got up from her squatting position on the ground, trying to compose herself again. She walked back over to the Kissing Rock and sat down, running her fingers along the place Emily sat a while ago. She thought back to what the sweet brunette said to her that night: "Why would you keep all of the best parts of you to yourself Ali? You can't assume someone will use those things against you if you don't ever put yourself out there. I think you're great and I've barely known you for longer than 78 hours!" That's where you're wrong Emily. People can use things against me. Things like me...loving you...being with you...all of it would very much be used against me. I might as well throw my reputation off of this cliff like I threw that rock if I ever dated you. My life would never be the same. My life already hasn't been the same ever since I met you. Alison let out another sob from the back of her throat. She was desperately trying to keep herself from breaking down again, but her whole body was shaking, and no amount of effort could stop the tears now. I really do love her. I love her as more than friend. I understand that, but I don't understand what it means. Am I bisexual? No I can't be...I haven't ever thought about another girl in the way I've thought about her. Maybe I'm just Emily-sexual? Maybe I'm just straight, but by some random fucking chance the universe gave me this gorgeous girl and had me fall in love with her? Fuck this all to hell. I thought I had this all figured out: she's my platonic soulmate. Ha ha fucking ha. Thanks universe! Thank you very fucking much! I'm in love with my best friend and I can't do shit about it. Another pesky voice in her head rebutted her previous thought: But you can do something about it Alison. You can tell her you love her and forget everyone else. Who cares what they think? They're losers anyways. You're Alison DiLaurentis. Since when do you let other people decide who you're going to be and who you're going to love?Fuck them! Alison's thoughts started a full-on argument in her head: Forget everyone else?? Everyone else puts me on a pedestal because they can. They think I got myself to that status, but in reality if everyone didn't give a shit about anyone else I wouldn't be the Alison DiLaurentis. If everyone just lived and let live, people could do whatever they wanted, but that's not how the world works. That's not how my world works. I basically am the brick and mortar of Rosewood High's caste system. If I fall, everything would go to shit. The other voice argued back: Let it all go to shit! Who cares? You'll be graduating and gone in less than two years. You and Emily can run away together and live happily ever after, leaving everyone else in the dust. Alison felt like someone straight out of a cartoon with a little devil and angel sitting on her shoulder, arguing back and forth. I'm legitimately going crazy. I've officially lost it. Alison started laughing at herself hysterically until her laughing morphed into sobbing again. What am I going to do? Should I cut her off? God I can't do that. I couldn't ever do that. Unfortunately that's the logical solution to this, but it's impossible. Being with her brings me the most happiness I've ever felt, but I don't know how much longer I can just be her friend. Every day I'm with her I want to grab her and kiss her. I want to run my fingers through her hair and hold her. How I supposed to be her best friend when I'm thinking about sticking my tongue down her throat every fucking second?!

Alison's thoughts were interrupted by her phone ringing: a call from Hanna. Fuck how long have a been out here? Alison cleared her throat and wiped away some tears. She took a deep breath and answered: "Hey Han!" "Hey Han? Bitch you're 30 minutes late! I've already got the popcorn and romance movies ready to go! Where are you?" "Sorry Han I had to help my mom with something. I'll be there soon okay?" "Okay I'll see you soon. Toodles!" "See you soon." Alison hung up the phone and dug her nails into her jeans. The thought of watching romantic movies almost made her hurl. She's already felt like throwing up for the last hour. Thinking about vomiting, Alison's mind instantly went to Emily kissing Paige, and a fresh wave of nausea came over her. She stood up, bent over, put her hands on her knees, started taking deep breaths, and tried her best to keep herself from throwing up. I can't let her go on that date. I should stop her. Can I? No I can't. God that wouldn't be fair to her. What would I even say? Alison went back into her car and looked at herself in the mirror. Her makeup was completely ruined, and her blonde hair was tussled from running her fingers through it so many times. Alison composed herself, and pulled out her makeup bag, re-applying her face. She did a double take in the mirror after she was done. To anyone else, Alison would have looked pristine and perfect, but she saw the redness in the white's of her eyes. She saw the dark circles underneath her eye lids. She saw sadness. She saw emptiness. She saw loneliness, and most of all, she saw longing...longing for only one thing...one person: Emily Fields.

Hanna ushered her best friend into her room with excitement. The shorter-haired blonde pulled out two dvd discs, holding them up, "Which one?" She asked Alison. Alison rolled her eyes, "Seriously Han, The Vow or The Notebook? That's your options?" Hanna rolled her eyes back at Alison, "Yes!! Common you love these movies Ali!" Alison flopped onto her designated side of her friend's bed, "Can we watch something else other than a romance movie? What about horror?" Alison suggested. Hanna scrunched her nose up, grimacing, "Horror? Ew! Hell to the no!" Alison huffed dramatically, "Okay fine, you pick then," she consented. Hanna did her classic squeal and held up the one she wanted to watch: The Notebook. Alison sighed from her friend's choice of movie, "Han, don't you get enough romance with Caleb?" Hanna turned back to Alison while she was putting the movie in, "I love Caleb but he is no Ryan Gosling!" Alison giggled at her friend's comment, "Okay true," she replied.

The two blondes were about a quarter of the way through the movie. Alison had watched The Notebook with Hanna hundreds of times, but this time was different. Normally, Alison would tease Hanna as she gushed over Noah and Allie's relationship, but Alison stayed silent. The blonde was intently watching, and it felt like she was seeing the movie for the very first time. She listened as the movie played: "I couldn't sleep last night because I know that it's over between us. I'm not bitter anymore, because I know that what we had was real. And if in some distant place in the future we see each other in our new lives, I'll smile at you with joy and remember how we spent a summer beneath the trees learning from each other and growing in love. The best kind of love is a love that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our mind, and that's what you've given me. That's what I hope to give to you forever. I love you. I'll be seeing you." Alison didn't even feel the tears running down her cheeks until she felt one fall onto her hand. Thankfully, Hanna was laying on the floor in front of the bed, munching on popcorn. Alison wiped away her tears, but she couldn't wipe away the thought of Emily. She knew very well why she was crying, and why the movie was starting to rip her heart into shreds. What Emily and I have is real. The love I have for her is more real than anything I've ever known. I know she loves me too. That's not a question in my mind. Even when I hurt her I saw the love she has for me in her eyes. I see that love everyday. I see it in every word she says to me, every look she gives me, and every kind, generous action she shows me. I wish I could give her more. I wish I could give myself more.

Alison and Hanna were now far into the movie. Alison was struggling to keep herself still. She almost got up and left when she realized what the next scene was going to be: the infamous fight scene. As much as she willed herself to leave the room and go into the bathroom, something stronger kept her glued to the bed. She watched on as the two fictional characters fought: Noah- "You're bored Allie. You're bored and you know it. You wouldn't be here if there wasn't something missing." Allie-"You arrogant son of a bitch." Noah- "Would you just stay with me?" Allie- "Stay with you? What for? Look at us, we're already fightin'" Noah- "Well that's what we do, we fight... You tell me when I am being an arrogant son of a bitch and I tell you when you are a pain in the ass. Which you are, 99% of the time. I'm not afraid to hurt your feelings. You have like a 2 second rebound rate, then you're back doing the next pain-in-the-ass thing." Allie- "So what?" Noah- "So it's not gonna be easy. It's gonna be really hard. We're gonna have to work at this every day, but I want to do that because I want you. I want all of you, for ever, you and me, every day. Will you do something for me, please? Just picture your life for me? 30 years from now, 40 years from now? What's it look like? If it's with him, go. Go! I lost you once, I think I can do it again. If I thought that's what you really wanted. But don't you take the easy way out." Allie- "What easy way? There is no easy way, no matter what I do, somebody gets hurt." Noah- "Would you stop thinking about what everyone wants? Stop thinking about what I want, what he wants, what your parents want. What do YOU want? What do you WANT?" Allie- "It's not that simple." Noah- "What... do... you... want? God damn it what do you want?"

Alison hopped out of Hanna's bed and started to rush out of the room. Hanna paused the movie, confused, "Alison? What's wrong?" she asked. Alison kept her back turned to Hanna, wiping away her tears as she picked up her purse, "I need to go," she said, her voice cracking, "My mom texted me and told me she wants me home." Hanna picked up on Alison's strange behavior, "Are you sure you-" "I'm fine Hanna! I'll text you later," Alison said quickly and and exited her friend's room.

Alison practically ran out of the Marin's house. The blonde couldn't think straight. She jumped in her car and tried to start it, but her hands were shaking so bad she couldn't even put the key into the ignition. A sob escaped her mouth, and she accepted it. She screamed and cried in her car for what felt like forever. I'm bored. I'm bored with Bradley. I'm bored with school. I'm bored with my friends. I'm bored with everything but her. All I can is think about her. I want her. I want her more than anything. Alison, still drunk on the romance movie, pulled her phone out to call Emily. Before she hit dial, the sudden realization of where Emily was right now dawned on her. She's on her date. She's on her date with her doing god knows what. Fuck! What if she actually likes Paige. What if they start dating? What if they kiss tonight? What if they do more than kissing tonight? Oh god. Alison felt nauseated again from her mind imagining Paige's hands on her Emily. Alison struggled to open her car door, and barely got it ajar before she puked all over the road in front of Hanna's house. Alison grabbed a tissue from her car and wiped her mouth, settling back into the driver's seat. She slowly got her breathing under control, and stared out into the dark street in front of her. Paige can have her for one night. One. That's it. I'm done playing games. Emily is too perfect for me to play games with. What we have is too special. I'm tired of feeling this way. I'm done.

Alison woke at 5 am the next morning. In reality, she didn't wake up from sleep. The blonde was up tossing and turning all night from nerves. She was resolute. She had decided to tell Emily how she felt. She had rehearsed and re-rehearsed everything she was going to say to Emily. Alison knew the brunette left for her morning runs around 6, and Alison planned on arriving at the Fields' house before then. The blonde looked outside her window, noticing the gloomy morning. The rain started around midnight, and hadn't let up since. Despite changing multiple times, she finally settled on a black floral tank top, a fuzzy black cardigan to cover, and black leggings to match. Alison looked herself over in the mirror once again, taking a deep breath. Her stomach was filled with butterflies. You can do this. It's just Emily.

The anxious blonde drove in the rain to the Fields' home, turning on familiar roads. Roads she had drove many times in the last few weeks. As she pulled up to the residence, windshield wipers working on overdrive, she debated on driving back home. Should I do this? What if she doesn't feel the same way? What if I've been wrong this whole time. God...what if she wants Paige now? I want this, but I'm scared. This might be a bad idea, but it's a gamble I'm willing take. Alison noticed Mrs. Fields peek her head out from around the curtains of their front window. Great. No turning back now. Alison felt like she was going to throw up all over again, this time, in front of Emily's house. She grabbed her umbrella and popped it open as she exited her car. As the blonde was walking up the steps of the front porch, Pam opened the door before she could even knock. "Alison, is Emily with you?" Mrs. Fields asked with concern. What? "Um, no. Emily isn't with me. Why? Is everything okay Mrs. Fields?" Alison asked, finally noticing how badly Emily's mom looked. Pam shook her head, "Emily took off about 30 minutes ago. I thought she was leaving early for her run, but her car is gone," Pam explained. Alison stood dumbfounded for a moment, unsure of what to say and unsure of where Emily could have even went at this time in the morning. Pam continued speaking frantically, "We have already called the Hastings, and they said she isn't there." Alison could see the worry written all over Mrs. Fields face. "Did something happen Mrs. Fields?" Alison questioned, not fully understanding what was happening. "I wasn't sure if Emily had told you yet, but I guess you don't know," Pam said. "Know what?" Alison continued to question. "Wayne has to deploy again. He's leaving tonight. They called us late last night while Emily was out. We spoke with her when she got home, but she ran up to her room crying. We decided to give her space, but she ran out of the house this morning before we could stop her," Mrs. Fields continued, "I don't know where she could've gone Alison. I was just about to call you before I saw you drive up. I don't know what to do," she explained. She's at the lake. "I think I know where she might be Mrs. Fields," Alison said, "Don't worry, we'll find her. She's probably just trying to process everything right now," she suggested trying to calm Emily's distraught mother. "Listen, I'm going to go and see if I can find her. I have your number and I will call or text you if my assumption is right, okay?" Alison said calmly, trying her best to reassure Pam. Mrs. Fields nodded her head in acceptance, "Okay, thank you Alison." "Of course," Alison replied. "Drive safe. The rain is coming down hard," Pam mentioned. Alison smiled and pulled the mom into a hug, "I will. Everything will be okay," Alison said before pulling out of the hug and walking back out into the rain.

Alison drove to the exact same spot Emily took her to last Saturday. Sure enough, Alison was right about where the missing girl went. The brunette's car was parked by the clearing in the trees. The rain hadn't let up one bit, if anything, it was coming down more relentlessly out at the lake. Alison looked for her umbrella, but it wasn't on her passenger seat. Crap. I must've left it on the Fields' front porch. Alison took a deep breath and prepared herself for getting in the rain. The blonde sped walked across the road towards the clearing. She silently thanked herself for choosing her Keds to wear instead of heels. Alison almost slipped on the muddy, wet path leading down to the lake. She reached the bottom of the path, and saw Emily sitting on the dock. The brunette had a hoodie pulled over her head, but she was still drenched. "Emily!" Alison screamed out to the brunette, trying to raise her voice above the sound of the torrential downpour. The brunette turned around from her sitting position on the dock after hearing her friend call out to her. Alison stood at the opposite edge of the dock. The blonde put her hands out and moved them back to her sides in one motion, smiling sadly at Emily. Her blonde curls were completely ruined by the rain. Emily stood up and faced her, staring at her for a moment, and then started speed walking towards her. Alison started walking to meet her too, and engulfed the brunette in a hug, rain pouring down on them. Alison pulled back after a few seconds, keeping her hands on Emily's forearms. Emily smiled sadly at her, "What are you doing here?" The brunette asked. "I came over to see you this morning, and your mom told me about your dad," Alison explained, "She's worried about you by the way." Emily nodded, "I left my phone in my car because of the rain. I didn't want it to get wet." Alison let out a short laugh and smacked the brunette's arm, "You're more worried about your phone getting wet than you? Look at yourself! You're soaked!" Alison said taking in Emily's clothes that were completely wet through and through. "You are too," Emily said, smiling genuinely for the first time since Alison found her. Oh god I probably look awful. Alison looked down shyly, pulling some wet strands of hair off of her face. "I probably look like a drowned rat," Alison joked. "If you're a rat, you make being a rat cute," Emily teased back. Alison met Emily's eyes, suddenly being reminded of why she went over the the Fields' house that morning in the first place. Now it wasn't about that anymore, it was about Emily and her dad. "Are you okay?" Alison asked, her tone still loud over the rain. Emily's eyes welled up with tears, shaking her head as an answer. As soon as the brunette's tears starting running down her cheeks, Alison did the only thing she could think of doing and wrapped Emily back into a hug. "I'm so sorry," she said softly into the brunette's ear. Emily pulled out of their embrace, "It's okay," Emily said in response. It's not okay. You're not okay. Alison ran her hand down the brunette's arm and gripped her hand. Before Alison could say anything, Emily shivered from being wet and cold. The sun was finally rising over the lake, barely peeking out of the rain clouds on the horizon. The light casted a glow over the two girls standing in the rain. "Come on," Alison tugged gently on the brunette's hand, "Let's get out of the rain." Emily nodded in response, letting the blonde lead her off of the dock.

The two girls stepped off of the dock and began walking up the trail to the road. Both girls squealed in response to the rain intensifying, pouring down heavily over them. "Wanna make a run for it?" Emily asked loudly, smiling playfully. At this point, the rain was so intense they had to yell to hear one another. Alison gripped Emily's hand tighter in agreement. "Ready?" Emily asked. Alison nodded and maintained her tight grip on Emily's hand as the two took off running up the trail. They rounded the end of the trail, running to the last stretch towards the cars. Despite being soaked from head to toe, both girls were laughing. They felt like little kids in the rain. Time slowed for Alison as they were running. She looked over towards the brunette who was smiling and laughing, wet hair flying behind her. I'm so in love with you.

The girls were almost to their cars when Alison released Emily's hand, stopping dead in her tracks. Emily finally noticed the lose of contact after running a few more feet ahead of her. She turned around, looking confused as to why the blonde stopped running beside her. The rain kept intensifying, pounding down over them saturating both of their clothes and skin. "I never told you the real reason why I left that party!" Alison screamed at Emily over the sound of the rain. Alison had to blink a few times from the rain getting in her eyes. The brunette looked even more confused than before, "Alison let's talk in the car! We're soaked!" Emily yelled back. Alison took a few steps closer, holding her ground, "I want you to know why!" Alison screamed. Emily patiently stood in the rain, confused as to why Alison had to tell her this right now. "Bradley tried to have sex with me!" Alison admitted and watched a twinge of a grimace on Emily's face. The brunette didn't respond, unsure of what to say. "I couldn't do it!" Alison shouted. Emily furrowed her eyebrows and finally spoke, "Why?" There was a pause after Emily asked the blonde why. Alison's lips quivered before she answered, "Because he wasn't you!" Alison finally yelled back. Emily parted her mouth, shocked and confused from the blonde's admission. "Every time I opened my eyes when I was kissing him I was hoping it would be you!" Emily shook her head in disbelief, "Alison I thought you said-" "I know what I said! I lied to you Emily! That kiss wasn't just for practice! Our kiss was the real thing! It was more real than anything I've ever felt my entire life!" Alison was screaming her truth to Emily with the rain pouring down between them. Alison's tears mixed with raindrops running down her cheeks. Nothing but the sound of rain filled the space between them. After what felt like an eternity, Emily replied, "What are you saying?" Alison took another step closer until she was a foot away from Emily. "You know what I'm saying," Alison said more quietly and suggestively. She took another step towards Emily until their feet were almost touching.

"Ali-" Alison cut off the brunette, "I don't want to talk anymore Emily," she said lowly. As soon as Alison's words left her mouth, she reached up and grabbed the back of Emily's neck, pulling her into a bruising kiss. Alison pushed every bit of emotion she could onto the brunette's lips. Emily reached out and grabbed Alison's hips. In response, Alison moved her arms around Emily's shoulders, standing on her toes to get the best access to the brunette's mouth. The rain falling down across their faces mixed in with their mouths. Alison guided their kiss this time, and slowed it down. She moved against Emily slowly and purposefully. The brunette moved her hands up from Alison's hips and slid them up under the shirt that Alison wore, her fingertips dancing across the pale skin of Alison's back. The blonde shuttered from the touch, and Emily let out a shaky breath against her lips. Alison continued to slow the kiss until they were lovingly placing pecks on each other's lips. Alison started laughing against Emily's mouth. Emily pulled back, still holding Alison's back, "What's so funny," she asked, lips swollen from the rain and their kiss. Alison moved her hand to caress the brunette's cheek, "Nothing's funny. I'm just happy," Alison whispered across Emily's lips, keeping their mouths impossibly close, "You have no idea how long I've wanted to do this." Alison pecked Emily's lips again over and over until Emily started laughing. That's my favorite sound in the entire world. Alison then started pecking kisses across her tan, wet cheeks, eliciting more laughs from Emily. She eventually stopped the kisses and met Emily's eyes. The brunette's hands were still wrapped around Alison's back, and Alison kept her arms wrapped around Emily's shoulders. They pressed their foreheads together, taking in the moment. The rain was starting to let up, and the sun hit both of their faces, casting a orange glow over them. This is everything I've ever wanted.

Betcha didn't see that one coming!! Screaming, crying, smiling...all the feels. We love it. How do you think they're going to handle themselves after that? This was my favorite chapter to write so far. It was a tad bit shorter than what I normally write, but I can't wait to continue (especially after this chapter hehe). I already have a whole idea of how the rest of this story will play out.

Also, I hope this goes without saying but I don't own any rights to The Notebook and blah blah. My little romantic heart had to include that iconic scene from the movie in here. I couldn't help it lol. Also another side note, I didn't want to make it seem like I was bashing Paige. That's why I included stuff like "she's ugly" from Alison's own thoughts. It's purely fiction. I love Lindsey Shaw and I think she's gorgeous! So please don't come for me!!

Leave some reviews my lovelies. See you next time!
