This chapter takes place is the Hazbin Hotel part, but goes to Helluva Boss later on. I'm introducing a new OC who is a dancer and has a form like Charlie's normal form. My OC is named Magic. She's 20 years of age and she has blue eyes with black hair and has wings like a fairy and dresses in a dark-blue full leotard with black ballet shoes. Height wise, she is as tall as Cherri Bomb.

Also, a huge thank you to robotman25, who owns Vaxal. :) He helped me create part of this chapter.

Also, for this story, Vox's favorite song is "Video Killed The Radio Star". Yes, I'm aware there was an episode that is called "Radio Killed The Video Star", which belongs to its respective owners. :) I've seen many users on YouTube do videos of Vox liking the song and honestly, I can see that it would be a favorite song of his.

Chapter 24

Things had been tense in the V's tower with Valentino going off on a rampage again and Velvette annoyed that he was making it hard for her to do her fashion show once again. Vox rubbed his forehead tiredly, knowing why Val was on a rampage again. Even since Angel had left, Val couldn't find someone to replace him and it was creating a lot of frustration.

Suddenly, the elevator doors to his office opened and Vox glanced up, annoyed and about to send away whoever it was when he saw someone running towards him, but it looked like they were flying, their feet barely touching the ground. He was so taken aback by the person's sudden entrance that the person, a young woman, he noticed, tackled him and they fell down.

Before he could get his bearings back, she scrambled off of him and quickly slipped under his desk, curling herself up and becoming still. Vox sat up and was about to ask what was going on when he heard Valentino storm in. "VOX!" The moth being said angrily.

Vox felt annoyed and got up, pretending to have dropped something. "What is it, Val?" He asked, looking at the other Vee with a bored look.

"Did you see where a slippery little fairy went?! Little brat had the gall to refuse my job offer though she was recommended by someone else as being quite good at her craft."

The television being shook his head. "Sorry, Val. I had dropped some paperclips and my pen on the floor and was picking them up for about five minutes," he said. "I didn't see anyone except for you just now."

"Let me know if you do see her," Valentino said. "And where the world is the fasionista diva and our weapons specialist and dealer anyway! I haven't seen them all day!"

Vox rolled his eyes. "If your talking about Velvette and Vaxal, they're out checking out the new club that opened in the middle of the city for their date night," he said.

"Ugh, well when are they coming back? I need some new certain outfits for what I'm shooting tonight and I knew some new guns cause these two are completely useless and broken," the moth complained, holding up two guns.

Vox felt his phone vibrate in his pocket and checked to see who it was. "Well your going to have to wait until tomorrow. Vaxal texted me saying that him and Velvette are going to crash at this suite for some 'private alone' time," he said before he got another text, this time from Velvette. "And Velvette says if Valentino is complaining about wanting something, then tell the big crybaby to buck up and deal with it," he read aloud, just managing to keep the smile that wanted to show on his face at bay.

"What! Give me that!" Valentino snarled as he grabbed the phone and read the texts. "Are you seriously kidding me!" He threw the phone at the wall in anger, destroying it. "Those two are having some lovey fun times when I need these things done today! I swear I can't believe this junk is happening!" The moth continued to ramble nonsense as Vox groaned.

"Val, will you just go and quit complaining. I've got important work to do, starting with getting a new phone again."

Grumbling, Valentino stormed off, leaving Vox alone again with the hidden woman. The television being sighed. "I'm starting to see why Velvette calls him a big crybaby now."

Gathering himself and making a note to see about the new phone after he took care of the person hiding in his office, Vox went over to his desk. "You can come out now," he said, keeping his voice level.

The young woman emerged, looking at him in confusion. He chuckled. "What? You thought I was going to let him get you?" He asked. "By the way, very impressive moves. Are you a dancer, by chance?"

She nodded and he smirked again, seeing she was in a dark-blue full-body leotard and black ballet shoes, her black hair in a French braid while her eyes were blue as ice. "May I see?" He asked.

The young woman held her head high and gestured to his computer, miming music. He turned on some music and his smirk turned into a look of awe at how well the young woman danced. Oh, yeah, he was definitely keeping her a secret from Val, he decided as he sent out an email to a company, purchasing a new phone as the woman continued to dance.

A week passed and Vox had just gotten done talking with Val who was still complaining about not finding Angel and complaining about the brat that got away. He entered his office and sighed, rubbing a hand over his screen. "I need to work on tuning him out," he said to himself.

The dancer who was staying with him saw him come in and went up to him, touching his arm. He turned to look at her and smiled tiredly. "Sorry, Magic. Didn't see you there," he said apologetically.

She gently squeezed his shoulder and he sighed. "Just dealing with my colleague," he said. "He's still mad that you gave him the slip."

The dancer's shoulders shook in silent laughter before she took his hand and gently pulled him to his office chair, gently pushing him to sit down. He cocked an eyebrow at her. "What are you up to?" He asked.

She smiled and quickly typed something on his desk computer before quickly moving over to the spot that Vox usually used for interviews and he noticed that it was set up to look like a photoshoot of sorts. Magic sat down in a pretty pose in the chair and smiled at him. The music began and he recognized the song immediately. "How did she know that's my favorite song?" He asked himself before he noticed Magic begin dancing.

The dancer moved with the song and even grabbed onto the prop lightpost she had set up, spinning around it and kicking a leg up before doing a front walk-over gracefully into the chair that she tipped forward, going into a roll and kneeling before doing a graceful spin and standing up, smoothly going into a back walk-over before she turned and strutted up the three steps up to Vox's desk and twirled before sitting on his lap, kicking out one leg and one arm in a finishing pose as Vox instinctively curled one arm under the dancer's knees and one arm behind her back.

The music ended and he smiled. "Well, I wasn't expecting this lovely surprise," he said. "And how did you know that was my favorite song?"

She shrugged before she began messing with his bowtie, untying it and letting it hang around his neck before she undid his suit jacket and her hands slid to his shoulders, gently massaging Vox's shoulders and neck. "Oh," he said in surprise before a groan of appreciation escaped him, his head gently falling back and letting the dancer continue. "You are definitely living up to your name," he said.

She smiled at him. She had never told him her name, but he had started calling her 'Magic' and she let him, liking the stage name. He didn't seem to mind that she never spoke verbally, but he seemed to understand all the same.

After a bit, Vox smiled at her, picking her up, to which she quickly grabbed onto him so that she didn't fall. "Join me for dinner, my lovely dancer?" He asked.

She smiled and hugged him, which he took as her answer and took her to one of the balconies of his side of the tower that was private and they ordered from one of the restaurants nearby.

More time passed and Magic, having grown accustomed to staying with Vox and dancing for him, especially after a hard day at work, was working on another dance routine, deciding to do some silks with her dance. She had seen other dancers use aerial silks, but since she didn't have those, she decided to use silk scarves for what she had in mind instead.

As she was working on it, she didn't see Vox coming. The television being always looked forward now to seeing Magic's dance routines and he had come home early because Val and Velvette were out and he wanted to take Magic to some stores to treat her. She never asked him for anything and he noticed she only had two other outfits besides her leotard, but the outfits were casual. She only wore them when it was laundry day. Though he had a bunch of props and stuff that Velvette had deemed unfit for her fashion shows, he let Magic use them as she wished and she often used the items in her routines.

As Magic turned around, she spotted him and jumped, stumbling a little, but Vox moved fast, catching her in his arms. "Sorry, Magic," he said apologetically. "I didn't want to interrupt your routine."

She smiled at him and held onto him as he helped her up. "Val is out and Vaxal and Velvette are out tonight on a date and I was about to head out to do some shopping. I'd love for you to join me, if you'd like."

She smiled, but then gestured to her outfit. "Oh, don't worry," he said as he went to the closet behind his desk and pulled out a dress that had his signature colors. "I believe this is just your size."

Magic was stunned and Vox handed her the dress. "Why don't you go change? I'll wait here for you."

She smiled and playfully tugged at his bowtie before headed off to change, putting on the dress, which was simple, yet pretty. A pair of black heeled sandals that she had found in the dress-up box fit her feet wonderfully and she let her black hair flow down behind her. She then went to find Vox, who smiled as he saw her. "I knew that would fit you," he said before they left to go into the city, hand in hand.

Vox smiled as he heard people whisper about the girl on his arm, but he paid them no mind and she didn't either, instead gracefully twirling away from someone who tried to take a picture. When they tried again, she quickly gripped Vox's shoulder and kicked up high, not only doing a backflip and her dress staying right with her, but also kicking the phone away from the person. Landing lightly on her feet, she glared at them. Vox turned and looked at the person.

"I believe she has made it clear that she is not posing for pictures," he growled. "Stop bugging her."

With that, he took Magic into a nearby shop and requested the store owner close the blinds in the windows, which the owner did at once.

Magic saw all kinds of jewelry on display and curiously looked at all the pieces, seeing some sparkle with the gems that decorated them. Vox watched as the dancer looked around before she stopped, turning to look at something that had obviously caught her eye and it was on top of the display counter on a short mannequin neck.

It was a heart locket necklace with the locket resembling a padlock and it was coupled with another necklace that contained a key pendant. Magic touched it carefully, her eyes wide with admiration. Vox noticed that the necklace seemed to make Magic think of something but the dancer blinked and gave her head a quick shake as if shaking off a memory before she moved on, looking at more items.

"How much for that necklace that lady was looking at?" He asked the owner.

"It's been discounted so many times because no one's wanted it," the owner said. "She's actually the first to even show interest in it."

"I'll take it then," he said. "For her."

The owner wrapped up the necklace and gave it to Vox, who paid him and saw Magic was looking at the door outside and looking annoyed. He saw why and shook his head. "Back door," the owner said, pointing to it.

"Thank you," Vox said and he and Magic went out the back to escape the onlookers. "Perhaps a quiet dinner on the balcony is best instead of a restaurant."

Magic stopped him and pointed to a restaurant that had dining tables on the roof and there was no one up there at the moment. "That would work," the television being said.

They climbed the stairs with him carrying her since he knew her shoes would get stuck on the stairs. She held onto him and smiled before they reached their destination and he gently set her back down on her feet. As they stood on the roof, Vox called the restaurant and asked for a waiter on the roof. Someone came at once and the two ordered their meal, enjoying the food away from the prying eyes on the street.

Vox smiled as he watched Magic enjoy herself and that night, he sat in his living room as she danced and at the end of her routine, he patted the spot beside him. "Magic, I have something for you," he said, smiling.

Her blue eyes were curious and she put her long black hair back in a ponytail, her dark-blue leotard catching in the light. Vox beckoned her closer and she came up to him, sitting beside him before he handed her a small box. She took it and looked up at him with questioning, curious eyes.

"Go on," he encouraged. "Open it."

She did so and her eyes widened as she gazed at the very same necklace she had been looking at earlier. She lifted it out and looked up at Vox, who smiled. "I noticed it had caught your eye," he said. "Do you like it?"

She placed the necklace around her neck, setting aside the necklace with the key before turning to Vox, moving closer before she surprised him by jumping at him and kissing him full on the mouth.

The television being jumped in surprise and was still as Magic pulled away, smiling shyly at him. "Oh, what? You're bold enough to surprise me with a kiss, but become shy again?" He asked teasingly before pulling her closer to him. "Come here," he said, his voice softer before he lifted her chin up gently and leaned closer, pausing before their lips touched.

Magic didn't push him away, but rather gripped his jacket lapels in her hands tighter. Taking that as a good sign, Vox kissed the dancer, the kiss deepening as Magic clung to him. When they parted, Vox smiled at her and gently fingered the heart locket-padlock around Magic's neck. "It looks amazing on you," he said sincerely.

She snuggled closer to him and let out a content sigh before one finger began tracing the upper button of his suit, the action slowing down as she fell asleep on him. Picking her up as he stood up, he carried her to his room and gently tucked her into the bed. When she had first arrived, he had allowed her to stay in his room while he slept on the couch, but in the middle of the night, she had come out and woken him up, taking his hand and going back to the bedroom, encouraging him to lay down. When he was comfortable enough, she had crawled into bed on the other side and fallen asleep again. Since then, they had shared the bed.

Vox now lay down beside her, kissing the dancer's forehead in affection. "Goodnight, Magic," he said, brushing her black hair away from her face before he fell asleep.
