While we are born by the bonds of blood, whether flimsy or not… Family can be found within even the direst times, no matter how odd we are. We are the same by heart~. - He-Ro the Radiant when his father fell…

Within the Jungle…

In the Tiger Tribe, it was a way of life to be connected to nature, to your tribesmen, and to the tigers who provide the wisdom among the next generation.

For as long as creatures big and small wandered the jungle, there have been tribes great and small, among the founding tribes was the ever-wise and ever-connected Tiger Tribe. For the Tiger Tribe was the most connected to the world, not losing its heart to the temptations of technology or magic. They have forever forsworn the ways of magic and choose to live off the land and care for the forces of nature. The leader, the ever battle-hardened and greatly respected Wun-Dar the Warrior. With his trusted Warhammer, passed down from generation to generation of warriors, swore to forever keep his tribe safe.

Also to keep his young son safe.

"Hmm… Cringer should be able to track him, but I don't see him. The boy honestly needs to learn how to handle his emotions better." The Leader of the Tiger Tribe sighed.

He then heard snoring above him. He smirked then pulled out his trusted hammer.

"Last chance, my boy~. Come out of the tree~." He whispered while trying out practice swings first.

All his response was snoring.

"Have it your way."

BASH!

The tree vibrated and a boy with blond hair fell out of the tree screaming, luckily caught by the warrior who caused him to fall. A small cute fourteen-year-old boy smiled weakly in his father's beefy arms.

"H-hey, Papa." The blond chuckled while tapping his fingers.

"Adam, little cub, trying to pout in the trees again?" Wun-Dar asked a rhetorical question setting his son down.

"I wasn't pouting." Adam countered while crossing his arms, causing him to chuckle.

"Adam, the reason you were punished, the reason I scolded you, that Cringer and I scolded you, Cub was because I keep repeating myself on the simple rule…"

"Don't go fighting poachers." Both said at the same time.

"I know, I know, but I have to do something." Adam sighed in a whiny tone.

"Son, the affairs of poachers, Beast Men, and other rival tribes are meant to be dealt with for as long as we dealt with them, by adults and as a streak… maybe Ambush but that's a story for another day. You must focus your duties as a Tiger Youngster, learn our ways, and help with the chores."

"Yes sir." Adam nodded then hugged.

"I love you, Son."

"I love you, too."

Wun-Dar then rose with his war hammer in hand, "Now, go out and look for Kitty. When you return, I have a surprise waiting for you."

"Yes, Papa. I promise to be back soon." Adam keirei bowed to his father, "May Kreann'ot n'Horosh and the Spirit of the Tiger be with you."

"May Kreann'ot n'Horosh and the Spirit of the Tiger be with you." Wun-Dar keirei bowed to his son.

Within Castle Greyskull…

The cries of war lured many into massive collisions that spread the great masters far and thus, they were weakened and suspectable to corruption… Even an act of love could be twisted and changed into something truly foul.

Days before In the Kingdom of Eternia…

Teela was fighting for her life for the sword as images of the past flickered before her like a fickle flame, the past wanting to be remembered.

The voice from within was louder than ever before…

Find him… Find the next Champion… Find him… Find the next Champion… Find him… Find the next Champion… Find him… Find the next Champion…

"Shut up, you're not real! Just need to get back to Evelyn and my brother and his boss then…" The young magic user whispered harshly.

Find him… Find the next Champion… Find him… Find the next Champion… Find him… Find the next Champion… Find him… Find the next Champion…

"There they are!" Teela gasped.

"Halt! Halt!" The guards boomed at her while firing at her.

She could see her teacher in magic was about to retaliate. She couldn't allow that!

"Stop! They're just doing their jobs!" Teela pleaded with her but was not interested.

"And so am I. Do you want to be free of the wicked king? The one who took my son and Husband, the one who left you in squaller?" Evelyn harshly reminded the child.

"Teela, hurry inside! You'll be safe!" Duncan pleaded to his sister, opening the bay door.

"Kid, forget the whelp. Time for us to get out of here." Kronis ordered his apprentice.

"But-."

"NO, we will not leave until the sword is ours! It's right-."

But Teela was gone.

"Teela?"

They were forced to leave as the witch vowed retribution for her desertion. But Teela could not go along with her plans. Even if it was to free the kingdom of Randor, she couldn't do it this way.

"What am I doing?" Teela questioned herself.

You made the right choice. Go to the Jungle where the Tiger roam and seek the one who knows what it means to be a champion.

"Alright, alright, I'll do as you say. Not like I have a choice anyway…"

Teela then began her mission to end the voice in her head…

One the Cliffside...

Adam was a tad annoyed and a little sore, thanks to that landing on the branch but luckily, he and Krass were able to retrieve Kitty safe and sound.

"With your guidance, Krass, it's wonder how you're going to be Chief one day." Adam scoffed at his friend, with her helmet shown glistering with the gem.

"Ha, I am teaching you something. I'm teaching you how to use your head." Krass'tine commented, "Besides, I'm not Heir Chief yet."

"Moss Man hasn't made the call, yet but everyone knows it's going to be you. You're the strongest and best hunter/fighter youngster of the tribe." Adam smiled while letting Kitty Down.

"I do my best."

"By the way, what are you doing out here?" Adam wondered to his friend.

"I'm looking for Cringer."

In the Poacher's Camp…

Cringer roared and growled as he was being surrounded by poachers.

They were saying something he didn't understand while laughing at him. They were leading him into the cage when Adam and Krass appeared.

"Hey, leave him alone!" Adam ordered, though they didn't understand what he was saying to the poachers.

"Less talk, Adam, more fight!" Crass advised, headbutting one of the poachers while Adam used a spear!

The poachers decided to make an example and showed no mercy to the children, Adam was pinned as he assumed the poachers were making threats to him while pointing at him with a sharp weapon. Cringer was in a cage and Krass was surrounded.

It looked bleak.

But then Wun-Dar and his Hunting streak came and overrun the poachers and their machines! The leader of the Tribe soon had the leading Poacher pinned.

"Leave the jungle or I will make you my next kill."

The poacher then fled with terror as the adults freed Adam, Krass, and Cringer.

"Son, Crassandra, are you okay?" Wun-Dar while petting Cringer, his Tiger companion.

"Yeah, we're okay," Adam answered while one of the woman warriors helped him up.

"Chieftain, the poachers don't normally hunt this far out here. Could they be desperate enough to go further in?" She wondered.

"That is a strong possibility. I sensed the winds of change for quite some time and Darkness lurking from the brush. We must be on high alert." Wun-Dar then rode on Cringer's back, "Come along, son. We have much to discuss. Most will be scolding and the other something vital."

Adam bowed then hopped on.

Within the Sanctum of Kreann'ot n'Horosh…

The God of Nature, Wild, and the shaman of Havoc of the Green, Kreann'ot n'Horosh was connecting with the forces of nature.

"Mystics of Eternia… Warriors of the Past… show me what is yet to be seen." The Moss Man hummed as the smoke of dead branches and bones began to flow their heavenly smell and show visions….

A stranger on a mission…

A demon of Bones returns…

A warrior of gold roaring…

The Tiger Tribe burning…

A secret unlocks and Master's return…

"Young Adam, your destiny will be vast and long. But one you must walk upon the path beyond the jungle." Kreann'ot n'Horosh hummed while he looked below to see a special ceremony, the Mark of the Tiger.
