Disclaimer: I don't own Digimon.
Following Kari into the school and arriving within the main hall, Davis took a moment to look over his surroundings, to see the walls were painted white, the floors were white marble, while the lockers were painted in the same shade of green as their uniforms.
"This is nice." Davis commented, his remark earning an approving nod from Kari, who then told him with a further positivity in her voice. "Thanks. This school was founded by Yuki Nonaka."
"Yeah, my mom already told me a bit about the school. She used to come here when she was young." Davis then said, which caused Kari to smile further and to say in reply. "That's nice to know. My mom also attended here as well."
Davis shared in Kari's positivity as he further enjoyed his time with the Kamiya sibling.
"Good morning Kari." A kind and feminine voice then said, the tone earning Davis and Kari's attention.
Turning around, Davis and Kari turned to see a girl the same age as Jun now walking over to them.
The girl had short orange hair which went to her shoulders, she had kind and caring brown eyes and held a slender figure in her body.
"Hey, Sora." Kari greeted with a kind smile of her own, before she turned to Davis and further expressed her kindness as she told him. "Davis, this is Sora Takenouchi. She's a good friend of mine. Sora's also dating my brother."
A little embarrassed by the latter of Kari's words, Sora told the brunette. "Kari, you don't need to tell everyone about my love life."
Shaking off her embarrassment and remaining with a kind smile on her face, the orange haired girl returned her attention back to the maroon haired boy and kindly said. "It's very nice to meet you, Davis."
"It's actually Daisuke Motomiya, but everyone calls me Davis." Davis said in reply, but shared in Sora's kind nature.
Nodding and remaining in a positive mood in regard to Davis' friendly nature, Sora looked to Kari as a sly smile crept onto her face.
"Oh, Kari, you must be jealous of my relationship with Tai if you're looking to find a boyfriend that looks just like him." The orange haired girl remarked, which left Davis and Kari blushing in embarrassment and causing the pair to express their understandable awe.
"Wait! I'm not her boyfriend!"
"Yeah! I only offered Davis a tour since he's new."
"Uh huh…" Sora chuckled softly as she enjoyed the shared embarrassment amongst Davis and Kari. "Relax, I'm only joking."
As Sora continued to chuckle toward their nervousness, Davis expelled a soft sigh, while Kari glared upon the orange haired girl as she didn't find Sora's teasing all too funny.
"What was this about a boyfriend?" A male voice then demanded.
Turning around, Davis looked over to see an older boy now approaching them.
Examining the brown haired boy and taking in his appearance, the brunette held similar traits to him, but his hair seemed almost as wild, while a pair of oval-shaped goggles adorned over his head.
And judging by his expression, it was clear the brunette was angry.
Realizing her joking had wound him up, Sora approached the brunette and assured with a calming tone of voice. "Tai, it's ok.I was only teasing them, so calm down."
Blinded by his overprotective nature, Tai approached Davis, grabbed him by the shirt and said with a growl. "You little brat, don't you dare touch my sister!"
Struggling against Tai's tight grasp, Davis said defensively. "Hey, let go...! We aren't even dating..."
Standing up for Davis and speaking up, Kari said with a defensive tone of voice. "Tai, cut it out! I just met Davis outside. I was only showing him around the school."
Although she knew Tai deeply cared about her as her brother, his protective nature always caused the older Kamiya to go overboard.
Turning his focus back to Kari, who glared upon her sibling, alongside Sora, who had a disappointed and angry look within her expression, the older of the Kamiya siblings then released Davis from his grasp.
Shaking her head in disapproval and turning her attention back to her new friend, Kari remained divided between concern for Davis and anger for how Tai had acted.
"Sorry about that, my big brother can be very protective. He's a good guy once you get to know him" Kari apologized with a clear embarrassment within her voice.
'You can say that again.' Davis thought as he softly rubbed his throat.
He heard of overprotective siblings, but this guy took the cake.
"Tai is a bit of a goggle-head, but he's a good guy when he isn't being all overprotective around Kari." Sora then said.
Leering at her boyfriend, Sora said with a firm authority in her voice. "Apologize."
To Sora's words, and to the anger seen in her expression, Tai sighed in response.
"Sorry about that." He said, extending his hand out as to assist Davis back to his feet.
"Davis Motomiya, and no harm done." Davis said.
"You know, looking at you two, I could have sworn you were brothers." Sora teased.
"Yeah, now that I see you face to face, you two look alike." Kari commented with her own soft chuckle.
Davis and Tai looked at each other and the two could see the resemblance between themselves.
Wanting to move on from the embarrassment he felt, Tai spoke up and inquired. "So you're new here huh? Where did you live before?"
"Shibuya. We just moved here yesterday." Answered Davis.
"Must have been rough changing schools right?" Sora asked with a kind empathy.
Davis nodded, crossing his arms. "Yeah it was, I left behind many good friends and things, you don't know how long it took for me to be captain of the soccer team."
"You were captain of the soccer team?" Tai questioned, expressing a growing interest in his voice.
"I was the best player in the school." Davis boasted in reply.
Laughing toward Davis' remark, the brunette could see a lot of himself within the younger boy.
"Really? Well maybe later you can show me later. I happen to be the best soccer player in this school." Tai then offered with a confident smile.
"Oh really? I would like to see about that." Davis challenged with his own confident grin.
'Oh boy, I think Tai found a new friend.' Sora thought, rolling her eyes slightly.
"Hey Tai, can I have a word with you?" The orange haired girl then asked, giving Kari and Davis a subtle wink.
Shrugging and oblivious to what was on Sora's mind, Tai turned to the two younger kids.
"I'll see you later, Kari. And Davis, don't think about doing anything funny." He said, his warning toward Davis causing Kari to roll her eyes.
However, and before any more conflict occurred between them, Sora grabbed at Tai's arm, apologizing once again and pulled him away.
Left alone with Davis, Kari turned toward the maroon haired boy.
Bowing, Kari expressed her own regret as she apologized. "I'm so sorry about my brother. Like I said, he can be a little overprotective of me."
"Hey it's no problem, I guess it shows how much he cares about you." Davis said, simply waving it off.
Happy toward Davis' understanding, but also wishing to spend more time with the maroon haired boy, Kari then asked with a friendly smile. "So shall we continue the tour?"
Davis nodded in response, now he knew he had to be careful of Tai, things might go downhill fast.
However, he was also thankful for Sora in regards to her keeping Tai in control.
He didn't feel like making enemies today, especially on his first day of school.
Meanwhile, Tai and Sora had secluded themselves from the majority of the school, the pair hiding away within the nurse's office and now making out.
With the nurse out for a while, Tai and Sora continued to further express their desires for one another, while Sora remained uncaring if they were caught as their romance wasn't exactly a secret.
However, as the rules strictly forbidden for males to make skin contact with females a rule which was placed in effect as soon as the school became unisex. But Tai and Sora couldn't keep their hands off each other, so they broke the rules.
Breaking apart from their kiss and taking a breath, Sora took her time to express her thoughts. "You didn't need to be so rude to the kid."
"Sorry, I just don't want anyone to hurt Kari." Tai apologized as he softly kissed along Sora's neck, his loving attention earning an approving moan from the orange haired girl. As Tai reached under her skirt.
"Ahh... Tai, school is about to start, you know...?" Sora just managed to say after feeling her pleasure increased with Tai's hands now roaming along her body and sliding into the front of her panties.
"We have time. Besides, I can't stop now, not even if I wanted to." Tai whispered seductively into Sora's ear.
Sora moaned, as she began rubbing Tai's lower half. Giggling, she could feel Tai's member hardening.
"Ohh, you're getting very excited, Tai." Sora said, expressing amusement and intrigue within her voice.
"So are you." Tai replied with a sly smile.
The two continued their make-out session, Sora sat on the bed as Tai climbed on her. The brunette slowly unbuttoned his girlfriend's blazer before taking it off. Sora pouted in response to Tai and his teasing.
"You're mean with the teasing." She said, her cute pout causing Tai to chuckle in response.
Desiring Tai with each second passed, Sora gently pushed Tai off her, getting off the bed. Smiling, the orange haired student turned to her boyfriend as she slowly began to unbutton her shirt, it fell to the ground revealing her bright red bra that covered her surprisingly flat chest, the sight causing Tai to lick his lips in anticipation.
Sora continued her stripping, she undid her skirt. It fell to the ground revealing matching red panties covering a noticeable bulge.
Sora undid Tai's belt, pulling down his pants and underwear revealing Tai's 8 inch hard pulsating cock.
Sora smiled, placing her nose on the tip taking a big whiff. Her body shivered from the musky smell of Tai member.
"Oh it looks so good as always." Sora smiled, taking a small lick on the tip.
Tai moaned in delight, while Sora gave his dick a few pumps. Gigging at her boyfriend's reaction.
Cupping his balls, Sora slowly massages them. The brunette moaned even louder. The red-head began to lick up and down the hard member covering it in drool. Sora slurped and sucked all the way down to Tai's balls.
"Ahh~ yeah." Tai whimpered, patting Sora's head as she continued to service him.
Taking one of the balls in her mouth, Sora firmly sucked it causing it to jolt up a bit but Sora continued. Removing the nut for her mouth, the red-head moved her head up to the tip.
"Hmmhmhmm, your friend here is really excited." Sora giggled, giving it a small kiss.
Tai chuckled at the perverseness of Sora, and he really liked this side of her very much.
Sora without warning, took his length in her mouth. And began to suck while bobbing her head up and down. Earning a moan from Tai, throwing his head back. Twisting her tongue around the tip as she continued to bob her head.
The redhead then felt the tip twitch, indicating that Tai was close to climaxing.
"Cumming!" Tai groaned erotically.
Sora's eyes widened, as the hot gooey substance filled up her mouth. Closing her eyes, the red-head suckled all of the white essence down her throat. Removing Tai's cock from her mouth a pop.
"So how was your snack?" Tai asked with a sly grin.
Looking up at her boyfriend, Sora smiled as she gave Tai's balls a quick lick and purred eagerly. "I love my nuts salted."
"Well big boy, give your girlfriend some love." Sora then purred as she climbed on top of Tai, pressed her lips to his own and to then kiss him deeply.
Closing the curtains to the bed and giving them extra privacy, Tai and Sora remained heated within their actions.
Too deep within their passions for one another, neither noticed when the nurse eventually returned and could hear their moans growing from behind the curtain. The nurse smiled, shaking her head as this happens all the time with those sneaking into her office to make out or have sex.
The nurse had long blond hair and blue eyes, she wore red lipstick and her outfit consisted of a white blouse, black tube skirt black leggings, and red high heels.
"Looks like my office is being used for sex again." The blond woman silently commented to herself, she knew of the rules against skin contact with girls.
However Nanami would let it slide, on one condition of the two giving her photos of them together from home, a fair yet creepy trade in exchange for keeping their secret.
"Don't take too long in there, school is about to start." She then said with a firm and louder authority in her voice, earning Tai and Sora's attention.
"Yes, nurse Nanami." Tai and Sora said in reply, before resuming within their passion.
Allowing the students to express their passions, Nanami did her thing and put up the closed sign before she took a seat within her chair, withdrawing a magazine from her desk. which contained the image of a woman with dark blonde hair upon the front, dressed in a white sundress and straw hat, as she relaxed.
Meanwhile, Kari was still giving Davis the tour, the boy was enjoying his time with her. They had been to the cafeteria, library, sports field, and other places.
Davis had to admit the school was pretty good, the sports field was nice, and he looked forward to playing a little soccer.
"So, you're a cheerleader?" Davis then questioned.
While they walked, Davis and Kari talked about their hobbies. The brunette told the boy about how she had a few, she was part of the photography club, the cooking club and cheerleading.
"Head Cheerleader actually." She said with the same confident smile Tai had given him.
Chuckling in response, the goggle-head could see that they two were related, Kari had a similar attitude as Tai and he liked it.
"I look forward to having you cheer me on during a soccer game." Davis smiled.
"Heh, yeah I bet." Kari replied with a matching enthusiasm within her voice, her hand resting upon her hip.
"Hey Kari, who's your new friend?" A new voice then asked.
The two were met by a boy their age, he was blonde with a white hat on along with wearing the same uniform as him.
"Oh, good morning TK." Kari greeted.
Facing Davis, Kari gestured toward her friend and said kindly. "Davis, this is Takaru Takashi."
"But everyone calls me TK." He said with a kind smile of his own.
Davis felt a somewhat twinge of jealousy, but swallowing his pride, Davis took TK's hand and shook it.
"Daisuke Motomiya, but call me Davis." Davis introduced himself.
"I never saw you around. Are you new here?" TK then asked.
"Yep, just moved here yesterday, and Kari was giving me a tour." Davis answered.
"That's good to know. Kari is a kind person. And she'll take good care of ya" TK smiled at Kari.
"Thank you, TK." Kari smiled.
Davis frowned slightly at how chummy Kari and TK appeared to be, but he dropped it as it remained evident Kari and TK were indeed good friends.
"TK is the captain of the basketball team, he's really good." Kari then stated, later of her remarks causing TK to rub his head modestly.
Appreciating the compliment, but noticing the time, TK said with apology. "Sorry, I have to go, Catherine is waiting in the library."
"Catherine?" Davis asked.
"An exchange student from France, she's here to study Japanese culture." TK explained.
"She's been teaching a lot of us the French language and of France's culture." Kari told Davis, before a sly smile graced her face. "Catherine is a sweet girl, but I think she and TK really like each other."
Davis felt relief at that information, of course he had just met Kari so he didn't have a claim on her.
"I'll see you two later. Hope you enjoy the school, Davis." TK waved to them as he left.
Waving TK goodbye but also happy to have Davis to herself, Kari wrapped her arms around Davis' and said with a further positivity in her voice. "Come on, Davis. Let's continue the tour"
Davis smiled having Kari hugging him, made the goggle-head blush, however before they could leave they heard a crowd yelling and cheering. The two looked to see a girl, the same age as Tai and Sora, she wore pink dyed hair with stars, and she was surrounded by boys who were complimenting her.
"You are beautiful."
"You are so pretty, Mimi-Chan."
"Please go out with me."
The pink haired girl, better known as Mimi smiled as she walked down the hall with the crowd of boys following after.
Looking at the girl and blushing himself, Davis had to admit Mimi was indeed a very beautiful woman.
Everything about her screamed elegance.
Curious about the pink haired girl, Davis then asked. "Who is she?"
"Mimi Tachikawa, she's one of the most popular girls in school. Her father is a wealthy businessman, but despite that life Mimi is very kind and generous." Kari informed with a smile, glad that such wealth had never consumed the pink haired girl.
"And very pretty." Davis confessed.
"Hmmhmm, get in line, tiger. Most of the school is already trying to get a date from her." Kari giggled.
Composing himself, Davis coughed into his fist, Kari just laughed at his attempt of trying to save face. The two finally made their way to the classroom, as they saw a crowd of students surrounding a table.
Davis raised an eyebrow as he asked. "What's going on?"
"It must be Rika playing Digimon." Kari answered in reply.
"Digimon?" Davis asked, expressing his intrigue.
They walked into the crowd, they looked to see a male student along with a girl their age with red hair tied in a ponytail. From what Davis could see the boy was struggling to make a move, while Rika remained cold and stoic toward her opponent.
"Alright, I'll play Impmon and then equip him with the air boots." The boy eventually said, playing said cards.
Rika just scoffed at the play. "Is that it? I'm not impressed."
Rika then played Renamon before playing a blue card, which allowed her to digivolve Renamon into Kyubimon and give it an energy boost.
"You lose, now get lost." Rika said with a dismissive wave of her hand.
The boy grunted as he walked away in shame.
"Another one bites the dust."
"No one can beat the Digimon Queen."
"She's undefeatable."
"Nice game, Rika." Kari commented kindly, but found Rika only leered toward her and said with a further dismissive tone of voice.
"It was hardly a game Kari, just another loser."
To her attitude, Davis could see Rika was the cold, cool, and collective girl type.
Ignoring Rika's familiar distant nature and maintaining her kind ways, Kari said happily.
"Well, allow me to introduce you two. Rika, this is Davis Motomiya."
"Motomiya?" Rika asked, arching an eyebrow as though the name held some familiarity to her.
"Hmm?" Davis uttered.
"And Davis, this is Rika Nonaka." Kari introduced.
"Nonaka?" Davis asked, his curiosity growing as he then inquired. "Is your mom's name Rumiko?"
"Yes, Rumiko's my mother and is the current owner of the school," Rika said in a dismissive tone of voice.
Davis frowned at her attitude but he swallowed it and spoke. "Well, my mom attended here when she was young."
Rika then remembered. "My mother told me her old friend's kids were attending here. I guess that's you."
Davis nodded. "Yeah, my 'sister' and I are now attending."
"Nice to know, goggle-head," Rika uttered in reply, her almost rude tone now annoying Davis.
"Geez, you could stand to be a little nicer, I mean it wouldn't kill you to smile or something." The maroon haired boy said back, expressing his frustration.
Taking notice of the way Davis and Rika were getting into one another and stepping in, Kari spoke up.
"Don't worry. Rika might seem cold, but she's a good person." Kari said with a kind smile and trusting tone of voice.
To Davis, it was hard to believe that the firebrand was even a nice person, from what he saw she was a cold, smug, and dismissive girl.
Appreciative toward Kari, but once again expressing her distant side, Rika told the brunette. "Kari, I appreciate your assistance, but I would like to be alone. These losers are starting to bother me."
Ignoring Rika's crude remarks and deciding to put Rika in her place, Davis gained a confident smile as he suggested. "How about I play you in a game of Digimon?"
Staring at Davis, Rika's eyes beamed with some curiosity.
"You know how to play?" She asked.
Keeping a confident smile on his face, Davis withdrew a small collection of cards from his jacket pocket.
"I never leave home without my cards." He said with a further confident smile.
Rika frowned slightly, she had met many people who came up to her with the same confidence only for her to knock them down several pegs, however, this kid wouldn't be different.
Drawing her own cards and mentally preparing herself, Rika simply said back. "Fine. I have nothing better to do, so let's play kid."
"Not so fast." A new voice suddenly cut in, the call drawing in Davis, Kari and Rika's attention.
Turning toward the call, the trio looked over to see a girl with long purple hair now approaching them.
The individual wore glasses and had the same uniform as Kari and Rika, only her skirt was a mid-calf version.
Toward the girl's presence, Davis remained confused, while Rika just rolled her eyes.
"Great, miss killjoy is here." Rika said, her voice of deep sarcasm.
Ignoring Rika's words and continuing to glare amongst the group, Davis could tell that the two girls had some history with each other, to the point he thought there might be a cat fight between the pair.
"Listen up, Rika. Just because you are related to the owner of this school doesn't mean you are above the school rules." The purple haired girl said, her tone serious and strict.
"Listen here Yolei, There's no rule saying I cannot bring Digimon cards here." Rika said while dismissively waving her hand in defense, introducing the identity of the purple haired girl.
From her position, Yolei kept glaring at Rika in response to her dismissive tone.
While it was unsaid, Davis could see that the two hardly got along and had some form of rivalry against one another.
Looking to Davis and knowing there remained some confusion, Kari moved over and whispered to the maroon haired boy. "That's Yolei Inoue, she's the class representative. Not to mention she's a real stickler for the rules. Don't let her attitude get you down, she's actually a really nice person when you get to know her."
Davis simply nodded in appreciation, it made sense with how the lavender girl was acting towards looking at Yolei. She was a perfect example of a nerdy girl who obeyed the rules and tried whatever she could to enforce them on others.
Knowing Davis was now caught up, Kari decided it was best she spoke up.
"Yolei, don't you think you're being a little too harsh? Rika isn't doing anything wrong." She questioned.
Somewhat bothered by Kari's questioning and preparing to scold the brunette, Yolei turned her attention toward Kari, but lost her focus as she took notice of Davis.
The goggle-headed boy was slightly nervous with the sudden look from the girl, he wasn't scared not at all. But he wasn't really in the mood to get in trouble on the first day.
Looking him over, Yolei inquired. "So you are the new student? Daisuke Motomiya right?"
Surprised at first but showing his kindness, Davis said in reply. "You can call me Davis, but how do you know who I am?"
"As the class representative, it's my duty to know my fellow classmates." Yolei said pridefully.
'Yeah, a nerd that takes pride in her work.' Davis thought with a deadpan expression.
Failing to pick upon Davis' interpretation of her and keeping a friendliness within her voice, Yolei then said. "I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Miyoko Inoue, but everyone calls me Yolei. I do hope we can get along together."
"Me as well." Davis nodded in reply.
Davis considers himself lucky, despite Rika and Yolei's personalities being around three girls was pretty nice.
Davis wasn't really popular with the girls back at his old school, aside from Zoe before he found out about Zoe being a boy, which led to their broken friendship.
Kari was a very kind and sweet girl, but she also had a bit of spunk to her.
Rika was a tomboy with a cold disposition to her which many believed was her cool such a personality.
Yolei had a nerdy and stickler for the rules kind of personality, but she seemed an overall friendly person.
Just then the doors opened revealing a young man with blonde hair and dressed in a white shirt, a tie, brown pants and dress shoes made his presence known.
"Alright everyone, take your seats. It's time for class." He said with a soft authority in his voice.
At his request, the other students took their seats as the teacher wrote his name on the chalkboard and began his lessons.
"Hello students, my name is Thomas Norstein, and I believe we have a new student joining our class." The blond said, his attention drawn toward the maroon haired boy.
"Young man, coming up and introducing yourself to the class."
Nodding and complaint with his teacher's order, Davis walked up to the front of the class
Pivoting on his heel and now facing his fellow classmates, Davis looked over the students with a kind smile as he said. "Hello my name is Davis Motomiya and I hope we can get along."
Pleased to see Davis showing such kindness, as well as the students accepting of the maroon haired boy, Thomas then said. "Now Davis, you can sit in the seat beside Ms. Kamiya, if you'd please?"
Doing as he was told, Davis walked over and took a seat beside Kari, who seemed happy to have Davis as her company.
"Looks like we're going to be neighbors." Kari said with a warm smile, the kind and positive nature expressed from the Kamiya causing Davis to nod in reply.
"Alright class, let us begin with the homeroom." Thomas then said as his lesson began.
The lessons were pretty much boring as Davis would put it.
While Kari and Yolei indeed paid attention to what Thomas said and wrote upon the board, Rika was somewhat indifferent, almost in her own world from time to time.
The lessons went on for about half an hour, and after Thomas' lessons were complete Davis now found himself walking alongside Yolei, toward their next class.
As Davis and Yolei spoke, the purple haired girl led the conversation toward Thomas, to how great their teacher seemed to be, which Davis found a little annoying and which left him silently wishing he had the same class as Kari or Rika.
"Professor Norstein is so amazing..." Yolei said with a dreamy sigh. "Did you know, he graduated from college at a young age?"
"Oh yeah… it's not like you said it the last eight times…" Davis murmured under his breath.
"What was that?" Yolei asked in reply as she glared upon the maroon haired boy.
To Yolei's questioning, and seeing her dangerous glare, Davis rubbed the back of his head.
"Nothing, I'm just saying you hold Professor Norstein in such high regards." He replied, trying his best not to sound afraid, or to insult Yolei.
"Of course I do. I am the class president after all, admiring the teachers and their hard work with educating us is something I enjoy." The purple haired girl said in reply.
'Yep, definitely a teacher's pet.' Davis thought.
Continuing to proceed down the halls and to their next lesson, Davis and Yolei came to a small halt when the pair heard someone call Yolei's name.
Turning, the pair saw a brown haired boy with short hair approaching them.
"Oh, hello Cody." Yolei said with a kind smile, before gesturing and telling the maroon haired boy. "Davis, this is my friend Cody Hida. He might be a bit younger than us, but he's a real genius."
Showing modesty toward Yolei's words, Cody just said. "It's very nice to meet you, Davis."
Appreciative toward Cody's kindness but also noticing there was a timid side toward the boy, Davis offered his hand out, shaking Cody's own as he told him. "It's seriously nice to meet you, Cody. I hope we can be good friends."
Feeling more comfortable around Davis and shaking his hand in reply, Cody looked back to Yolei and found himself asking. "Yolei, did you remember to help me with my computer after school?"
Remembering the promise she had made, Yolei told Cody with a trusting voice. "I remember, right after school."
Allowing Yolei and Cody time to chat, Davis looked around and further examined the school.
Looking through the nearby hall, Davis took notice of a couple who were flirting.
Examining the pair, they looked to be around Tai and Sora's ages, with a black haired boy, who seemed to amuse his female companion with their remarks.
Observing the couple and thinking about it, Davis was then reminded that the school used to be a private all girl's school when his mom attended, and it was only until last year it became a private unisex school.
From the way the girl seemed so smitten with her male friend, it was apparent the girls were growing attracted to the increasing number male students.
"They should get a room." Yolei muttered in a flat tone, her disinterested tone earning Davis' attention.
"What's wrong, jealous?" Davis asked with a teasing smile.
"Tch, hardly, I wouldn't want to be in 'her' shoes." Yolei said dismissively, her words confusing Davis and leaving him to wonder why Yolei had placed so much emphasization over the word her.
Davis found he didn't have too long to mentally ponder his question as he then heard a voice call his name, a familiar tone surprising him.
"Davis…?"
Shock overtook the maroon haired boy as he saw his old friend Zoe, who glared toward him.
While Zoe wore the girls uniform, there was part of Davis which had to admit it looked good on him.
Failing to notice the tension between the pair, Yolei spoke up.
"Zoe, are you on your way to your class?" She asked kindly.
"Yeah, but I'll just be a minute, I think I forgot something in my locker." Zoe said in reply.
Sensing a growing tension between the pair, Yolei and Cody silently excused themselves, allowing Davis and Zoe to talk.
"Hey, Zoe…." Davis muttered, his tone expressing a continued surprise.
"Hey, Davis…" Zoe just said with a small glare.
Trying to bypass the tension between them, Davis said. "So... You're looking good…"
"Oh, am I?" Zoe coldly asked, crossing his arms as he then inquired. "Is it because of my outfit or something else?"
Davis flinched slightly as he knew such a jab was toward Zoe's gender. But even so, Davis still cared about Zoe, even though he knew Zoe was a Trap.
'Small world I guess.' Davis thought as he never expected to see Zoe once again.
Believing they had to speak up themselves, Cody decided to break the tension.
"So you two know each other?" He asked.
"Yeah, Zoe and I were pretty tight back in Shibuya..." Davis said, expressing awkwardness in his voice.
"The key word is 'were', because of how insensitive he is." Zoe said, expressing a small venom in his tone.
Knowing he had done wrong, but trying to defend himself, Davis told the blond. "Zoe, I... I didn't mean to hurt you..."
"Yeah right!" Zoe huffed as he refused to listen to Davis' ramblings. "Now if you'll excuse me, I have to get to class."
"Zoe, please wait!" Davis called, but found Zoe was gone.
Ashamed, Davis lowered his head.
Deep down he still cared about Zoe and their friendship that he ruined.
He never got a chance to even make it up to him, or that he could truly apologize.
"So you're the one who broke Zoe's heart?" Yolei then asked, glaring toward the maroon haired boy.
Knowing he had hurt Zoe, Davis was frustrated toward Yolei's accusation as he told her. "Look, it's none of your business. I know I fucked up, but there was a reason why I couldn't date Zoe."
"Yeah, yeah, pretty obvious." Yolei said back, before bypassing the boys.
Arching an eyebrow at that remark, it made the maroon haired boy wonder if Yolei knew about Zoe's secret.
"Well, I best get to class by myself. Have a good day, Davis." Cody waved as he walked away and proceeded to his class.
Sighing to himself and remaining in a somewhat somber mood, Davis knew there was nothing left for him to do but to go to class and continue his day.
Knowing Zoe was now a student at the school, Davis was uncertain as to what the next few years would provide.
Sometime later and after his classes, Davis was now in the computer lab.
Amongst the other students within the room, Davis took notice of TK, who was sitting with a cute blonde haired girl, she wore the female student uniform with the same mid-calf skirt which Yolei wore.
Listening to the girl speaking, Davis picked up an accent, which led Davis to guess the blonde must've been Catherine Deneuve.
Noticing Davis and remaining friendly, TK called with a kind and welcoming voice. "Hey, Davis."
"Hey." Davis greeted in reply.
"This is Catherine, the girl I told you about." TK then said kindly, allowing the pair their introductions. "And Catherine, this is Davis."
"Bonjour, Davis. it is so nice to meet you." Catherine greeted happily.
"And a bonjour to you too." Davis said with his own kindness.
"I was told you were an exchange student, how long have you been here?" The maroon haired boy then asked.
"About a year. I'm currently living with Nonaka family." Catherine notified.
Taken aback, Davis proclaimed. "Huh? Rika Nonaka is in my home room."
"Really?" Catherine asked back, before she smiled and told Davis. "I know Rika may act cold, but she's a good person when you get to know her."
Rubbing the back of his head but remaining doubtful, Davis just scoffed.
"I'll believe that when I see it." He commented, which didn't abide too well with Catherine, who said back. "You shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Rika can be a good friend if you make an effort to spend time with her."
Davis knew that there was indeed truth in Catherine's words, and maybe he was being a little harsh on Rika.
He didn't know Rika all too well, so he really had no right to talk about her in such a way.
"TK, Catherine." A teen with short red-hair then called, drawing attention.
Walking over with a kind smile, the boy took notice of Davis and asked. "Who's your friend?"
"My name is Davis Motomiya." Davis introduced himself.
"Izzy Izumi. It's very nice to meet you." Izzy replied with a kind smile.
Holding his hand out and shaking Davis' own, Izzy then asked. "First day here, am I right?"
"Yeah. Me and my family and I just moved here yesterday." Davis replied.
"Izzy is president of the Computer Club, and one of the smartest students in the school." TK then said, much to Izzy's modest embarrassment.
"I wouldn't say the smartest, but I am pretty knowledgeable." Izzy commented.
"I'll take your word for it." Davis said with a small laugh.
Time passed and soon, it was time for lunch. Davis walked into the lunch room, seeing many students already sitting at various tables and eating.
"Davis! Over here!" Kari's voice called out.
Turning to the welcoming voice, Davis looked over to see Kari, along with TK, Catherine, Yolei and Cody sitting at a table.
Deciding to join the group, Davis walked over and took a seat beside Kari.
Curious and being nice, Kari then asked. "So how are you enjoying the school so far?"
"Pretty good." Davis answered with a shrug. "School is just school to me anyway."
Davis then noticed Rika was walking by them.
"Hey, Rika, want to join us for lunch?" The gogglehead offered kindly.
The redhead looked at Davis and just said with little emotion in her voice. "No thanks, I'd rather sit by myself."
Respecting Rika's decision, but wanting to ensure that Nonaka knew she was welcomed, Kari offered. "Come on, Rika. Why don't you just sit with us? After all, we do have a new friend."
Somewhat appreciative of Kari's offer but looking to Davis, Rika told Kari. "He may be your new friend, but he isn't mine."
Without another word, the redhead left to be alone.
Grumbling Davis didn't think the red head would even be that rude to Kari.
"Oh, her and that attitude." Yolei frowned slightly.
Confused, Davis then asked. "What's her problem anyway?"
"Rika has always been a bit of a loner." Catherine informed, her expression of some concerns for the Digimon Queen. "Even at her house she generally likes to be by herself."
Although understanding of Rika's distant nature, before anything else could be said, Jun's voice rang out.
"Well, well, well, how's it going Squirt?" The older of the Motomiya siblings asked with a grin.
The marooned hair boy frowned from the teasing nickname by his brother and simply muttered in reply. "Hello Jun..."
Curious, Kari asked with a retained kindness. "And who's this, Davis?"
Though part of him didn't want to admit he knew him, but deciding to be nice, Davis informed. "This is my older sibling, Jun Motomiya."
"Nice to meet all of you." Jun said kindly, before adding with a sneer. "I just hope my little brother isn't causing you too much trouble. Wherever he goes trouble just follows him."
Refusing to allow Jun to speak about him in such a way, Davis said back, expressing his defensive side. "What did you say? Trouble follows me everywhere. I mean look at you spreading your butt for people."
Now annoyed herself, Jun glared back at his brother, telling Davis with a fairly threatening tone of voice. "Say that again, squirt. I dare you."
"Come on now, there's no need to fight." TK said, acting as the voice of reason.
"And there's no fighting in the cafeteria." Yolei added through her own concerns and serious tone of voice.
"Hey, why don't you two just calm down?" A voice then cut in which lead the group to turn their attention to a blond teenager around the same age as Jun.
From the sight of the blond, Jun blushed at the sight of him, while Davis could've sworn he had seen the blond before, but he just couldn't remember where he was from.
"Hey, Matt." TK greeted the older boy.
Davis turned to Kari, as if asking what their relationship was.
"TK's older brother.' Kari informed silently.
"My name is Matt Ishida." Matt introduced himself.
Davis now remembered where he heard the name from, Matt Ishida, lead singer for one of Jun's favorite boy bands. He can already tell that his brother was going to have a field day.
"M-my name's J-Jun Motomiya..." Jun nervously introduced himself.
Davis resisted the urge to gag, it was no shocker that Jun instantly fell in love with Matt but one problem was that Jun was a man and so was Matt.
"I mean who hasn't known you, you're one of the best boy bands in Japan." Jun cooed, acting like an obsessed fangirl despite being a trap. "I've followed a lot of your concerts."
This took everyone present by surprise, with the exception of Davis as he knew this would be the outcome.
"I guess your sister is a fan, right?" TK questioned, this causing Davis to ask back with sarcasm. "What gave it away?"
"Can I have an autograph?" Jun asked, taking out a notebook.
Matt was used to this when fans asked for his autograph and was happy to fulfill Jun's request.
Reaching into his pocket, the blonde took out a pen, signing the paper.
Giggling, Jun held the autographed paper to his chest, literally shuffling in place.
Summoning his courage, Jun slid himself over to Matt, doing what he could to maintain some control as he asked. "Is it okay if I talk to you for a while? I always wanted to get to know you in person."
"Maybe some other time, but right now, I have something to do." Matt replied, but his tone remained respectful toward the Sibling Motomiya.
Jun smiled as Matt walked away, happy to have met Matt and gotten his autograph, and Jun was looking forward to seeing him again.
"Jeez, you're drooling aren't you sis?" Davis questioned in a mocking tone of voice.
Jun glared at him for that remark, however he gained a sly grin as he looked at Kari, Yolei and Catherine. "Oh, I see you are pretty popular with the 'ladies'. So are they your new girlfriends?"
Davis blushed with embarrassment, Kari, Yolei and Catherine blushed as well.
Yolei slammed her hand on the table, and glared at Jun. "I'm not his girlfriend! I'm not interested in dating your brother, or any boy for that matter!"
Sharing Yolei's embarrassment but showing more control over her emotions, Kari said to Jun with a calm tone of voice. "I just met Davis today, so we aren't even in a real relationship, no offense, Davis."
"None taken." Davis replied, but found himself thinking as he admired the brunette.
'Although, I wouldn't mind if she was.'
"And the same can be said for me." Catherine said in a respectful tone.
"Jun, just go, you're embarrassing me." Davis frowned, completely embarrassed by Jun's playing.
Satisfied with embarrassing his younger brother for the time being, Jun decided to give his little brother and his new friends a break.
"Alright, squirt, I'll give you a pass. I'll leave you with your friends and girlfriends." Jun said, giving one more jab, before leaving the group alone.
"They aren't my girlfriends!" Davis shouted, however Jun was already gone. "Oh Jun is such a pain."
"I have to say you two definitely, fight like a brother and sister." Kari said, as she and Tai fought multiple times.
Scowling, Davis said back. "You can say that, Jun has always been a pain in my ass."
"Yeah, we can see that." Yolei remarked, still blushing from being called Davis Girlfriend.
It was now time for PE, and Davis was playing a game of soccer with some of the other students.
Amongst the students participating in the game, Tai was impressed by Davis' skills and how the maroon haired boy seemed able to command the ball.
Meanwhile and from the sidelines, Kari was wearing her cheerleading outfit consisting of a white and magenta top and a magenta pleated skirt. She and the other cheerleaders cheered for the players.
"Go, Davis! Go, Tai, go! You guys can do it!" Kari cheered with her pom poms waving.
"Over here."
Davis kicked the ball to Player A, before he kicked to Tai, who kicked it back Player B.
"Here!"
Player B kicked it too hard, it sailed past Davis, the ball bounced several times and landed at the feet of Zoe. Davis looked at his old friend, the blond looked at the ball then at Davis.
Remembering the tension between the two of them, but he called out. "Little help here, Zoe."
Zoe frowned slightly, but showed his maturity as he kicked the ball with good precision, which landed perfectly into Davis' hands and caused the maroon haired boy to smile as to see Zoe was just as precise as ever.
"Whoa Zoe is great."
"Yeah she could play with the best of us."
"She's not just beautiful, she's also so talented."
From what he could see Zoe was very popular in the school much like back in their own home.
Zoe was talented when it came to cooking, soccer and organizing things.
Zoe would often make him homemade lunches, his meal preparation and culinary skills were always so good it inspired Davis to continue with his dream of being a chief, and the maroon boy missed those days.
Zoe, despite being a trap, was the perfect example of a housewife. Kind, caring and was an amazing cook.
'if only these guys knew about Zoe's secret.' Davis thought as he softly looked upon the blond.
Even after all of this time, he couldn't believe Zoe was a boy.
If it wasn't for what rested between his legs, the blonde would easily pass for a girl.
Whenever Davis looked at Zoe, he could only see a pretty girl, but Zoe was still a boy in the end and Davis wanted a real girl.
"Zoe, do you want to play a few rounds?" Davis then asked, the maroon haired boy holding a kind smile in his face as he went on and said. "I know things didn't end well with us, but I'd like it if we caught up."
A look of hesitation expressed itself on Zoe's face in response to Davis' offer, before Zoe told Davis plainly. "No thanks, Davis. Have a good game."
As the maroon haired boy sighed in defeat as he watched Zoe walking away from him, Tai approached Davis, his expression of surprise and concern.
"I've never seen Zoe act like that before." Tai remarked, before he asked of the maroon haired boy. "Do you and Zoe have some history?"
Davis frowned slightly as he told Tai. "The two of us were pretty tight back then in Shibuya. I was actually close to asking her out, but something happened and well…"
Tai understood where that was going and proceeded to ask. "You fucked up, right?"
All Davis could only nod to Tai's words.
Although brash, Davis knew he had messed up his relationship with Zoe, but that didn't mean he was over the blond.
Even if they couldn't become a romantic couple they could at least be friends again and hang out again.
Davis missed all the days they would hang out, how they'd play soccer and just spend hours talking about their favorite things, and how they would eat lunch together on the school roof without a care in the world.
Realizing the pain Davis held and showing a kinder side to him, Tai placed a supportive hand upon Davis' back and assured the maroon haired boy. "Hey, things will get better. Give it time and you two will reconnect.
Surprised with Tai's sudden kindness but also appreciative toward the brunette, Davis nodded in replay as he too hoped things would get better between him and Zoe again.
The day was nearing its end, so Davis wanted to spend the last bit of the time with his new friends.
However, most of them had other things to do. Yolei and Cody had left about several minutes ago to help Cody with his computer, Catherine had left with TK so the pair could work on a joint assignment.
Tai and Sora had left as well, the older Kamiya had given Davis another stern warning not to do anything with Kari, but was quickly dragged off by Sora.
Zoe was picked up by his mom, who gave Davis a disapproving look when she first saw him, which hurt the maroon haired boy even more.
Only Davis and Kari were left and were collecting their things from their lockers, before they both made their way home.
Curious, Kari asked with a warm and friendly tone of voice. "So how was your first day here?"
"Pretty good. There's still a bit to get used to, but I think the school is nice." Davis answered with a soft smile on his face.
Although the school was good, and though he had met many nice people, with some exceptions such as Rika and Zoe, there was a part of Davis which didn't enjoy.
Kari nodded while smiling, but the smile slowly receded as she inquired about Davis' past.
"I heard from Yolei and Tai about Zoe." Kari informed, before she said. "I'm surprised by how cold she was towards you."
Davis rubbed the back of his head, but told Kari with a solemn expression. "Yeah, but I messed up so I don't blame Zoe."
"I really hope we do make up." The maroon haired boy then said hopefully, which caused Kari to nod and for a positive smile to grace her face.
However, and realizing their conversation was upsetting Davis a little, Kari dropped the subject over Zoe.
Knowing Zoe was one of the nicest people in school, Kari dearly hoped that Davis and Zoe could rekindle their friendship.
The two soon heard humming and the two kids turned to see Mimi who was undoing the combination from her locker.
"Oh, hello Mimi." Kari said with a kind smile, the positivity shared by Mimi, who turned back to face Kari and to say with her own warmth. "Hey yourself, Kari. I see you have a new friend. Care to introduce us?"
"Of course. This is Davis Motomiya." Kari said as she introduced Davis.
Stammering a bit, from the very presence of the pink haired girl, but calming himself down, Davis made his own introductions and said with a kindness in his voice. "It's nice to meet you, Mimi. My family and I just moved here today, but Kari's making me feel right at home."
"And it's nice to meet you, Davis." Mimi kindly introduced herself.
However, looking between Davis and Kari, Mimi couldn't help but to giggle and for a big smile to grace her face.
"Oh? Are you two dating?" Mimi inquired, before proclaiming happily. "You two make such a cute couple."
To Mimi's words, Davis and Kari blushed deeply.
Recovering quickly and defending the accusations, Kari spoke with a fair embarrassment in her voice. "Mimi, Davis and I have only met this morning!"
"Yeah, we're just friends." Davis added.
Although sharing in Kari's embarrassment, there was part of Davis which liked the idea of having Kari as a girlfriend.
Kari was kind, sweet, caring and selfless, all the qualities he looked for in a girlfriend.
"I know. I'm just teasing you." Mimi then confessed with a fair giggle, further embarrassing Davis and Kari.
Enjoying the moment of Davis and Kari's soft humiliation but showing her kindness, Mimi looked over Davis and asked. "So all jokes aside, what things are you into, Davis?"
"Well, I like to play soccer, spend time with my friends, comics, manga, play video games and play the Digimon card game." Davis replied, before he added with a modesty in his voice. "If the school has a cooking club, I was thinking about signing up."
Davis' dream was to become a great chef, to make food that would change the world. He had only recently signed up for the culinary club back at his old school, but didn't learn too much since his recent move to Odaiba.
"Cooking huh?" Mimi uttered a finger on her cheek. "Then you should definitely join the culinary club."
Surprised and eager, Davis questioned. "There's a culinary club?"
Nodding in reply, Mimi then told Davis. "It's a very great club, In fact, the ingredients come from the agriculture club."
Happy to see the inspiring spark within Davis' eyes and adding in on the conversation, Kari added with a smile. "You know and while we're on topic, there's also a Digimon club."
Holding a small blush on her face and sliding closer to Davis, Kari then offered. "Maybe tomorrow, I can show you?"
Sharing in Kari's emotion and holding his own blush behind a friendly smile, Davis replied. "Thanks, Kari. I'd like that."
"Great. Maybe you could stop by the tea club while you're at it? We could always use some new members." Mimi then offered, before the pink haired girl listed several more clubs. "There's also the sewing club, the costume club and…"
"Let's just say Mimi is popular in many of the school's clubs." Kari interrupted, knowing they would be there for a while if she allowed the pink haired girl to resume in her sentence.
"Maybe I will." Davis smiled as he wouldn't mind being near such a pretty woman such as Mimi.
"Well, I have to go. Izzy promised to help me with my homework." Mimi said with a final wave, before she too made her leave.
Saying their goodbyes to Mimi and deciding it was time to leave, Davis and Kari walked toward the entrance of the school.
Amongst all the things that had occurred, meeting Kari was what Davis enjoyed the most.
Even though they had only met a few hours ago, the maroon haired boy felt very close to Kari, the feelings shared by the brunette as the pair walked alongside the other and further enjoyed their company.
"I told you Mimi is one of the nicest people you'll ever meet, despite-" Kari began to say, but stopped mid sentence as she stepped in a slight spillage of water and found herself thrown forward.
Reacting to her distress, Davis quickly grabbed at Kari's arm and tried to pull her to safety, but found the momentum of Kari's fall caused him to fall himself.
Somewhat shaken by the fall and confused to an odd but pleasant feeling in his lips, Davis questioned himself. 'Huh? What's going on...? Why do I feel something soft on my lips?'
Recovering from the fall and opening his eyes, Davis blushed to his position, to see that not only was he now on top of Kari, But their lips were pressed together in an unintended kiss.
As surprised as Davis was to this incident, the maroon boy was also captivated by how soft and sweet the brunette's lips felt against his own, and though she was silenced by Davis' lips, Kari found herself also enjoying the kiss.
Staring at one another and locking eyes for what felt like an eternity, Davis couldn't help but admire the soft beauty of Kari's eyes.
They were full of light and life which continued to soothe him.
However and finally realizing the position they were in, Davis quickly pulled himself away.
'oh crap oh crap! I kissed Kari!' He thought after rising back to his feet.
"Kari, I'm so sorry! I swear it was an accident." Davis frantically apologized as he tried to help Kari to her feet, but also avoided any and all eye contact with the brunette.
He had just broken the rule of no skin contact between male and female students, which led Davis to believe Kari was definitely mad at him.
Expecting Kari to yell, to hit him, to express her emotions, Davis was surprised as Kari didn't say anything to begin with, before he looked back at the brunette, who had her fingers to her lips, a soft blush upon her cheeks and an expression of uncertainty.
Breaking the silence, Kari confessed. "That was my first kiss…"
To what Kari had told him, Davis felt even worse.
Feeling waves of shame washing through his body, Davis lowered his head shamefully and said apologetically. "I'm so sorry, Kari. I swear I didn't mean to..."
"No… it's fine." Kari interrupted as she held out her hand for Davis and further assured him. "I understand. I know you were only trying to help me."
Although Kari seemed understanding by the incident, the shame and embarrassment became too much for Davis to handle.
"Kari… look I'm… I... I'll see you tomorrow!" He stammered, before storming off, leaving Kari alone and deep in thought.
Watching Davis leave, Kari remained at the courtyard, her fingers lightly running along her lips, before a small smile crept onto her face.
"Hehehehe, I kissed Davis…" Kari said with a soft giggle, showing the clear enjoyment she felt to Davis kissing her.
Opening the door to his apartment, Davis walked in. his face still reddened by what had happened between him and Kari, the goggle-head still couldn't get it out of his mind.
It wasn't just Kari's first kiss, it was his as well. He had never kissed a girl on the lips. He never thought a girl's lips could have been so soft and tastes so sweet.
'I can't believe I kissed a Girl, even though it was an accident. Kari wasn't angry at all, that makes me happy.'
A smile crept onto the maroon boy's face. He was happy to have shared a kiss with such a cute girl like Kari, and he wouldn't change it for the world.
"Davis is that you?" The sound of his mother brought him back to reality, and it would seem his mom returned home early.
"Yeah, Mom I'm home." Davis called back, he walked through the house and found his mom sitting on the couch watching TV.
Misako smiled warmly at her son. "Hello honey, so how was your day at school?"
"It was pretty good, I've met some new people, some annoying, some nice."
"Daisuke, it's not nice to call someone annoying and you know that." Misako scolded her son.
"Yes Mom." Davis nodded, rubbing the back of his head. "Oh yeah, I ran into Rumiko's Daughter Rika."
"Oh you meant Rika? I'm sure you and hi- her are new friends." Misako smiled.
Sheepishly rubbing the back of his head Davis let out a reply. "Well… I wouldn't really say we're friends… she kind of gives me and a lot of people the cold shoulder."
Misako was saddened by that, from what she had heard from Rumiko, she and Rika's father had gotten a divorce and the young child was devastated by it.
"I'm sure she will get along as time goes on." Misako said with a gentle smile. "So, any other friends you have met? Maybe a girl?"
Davis instantly thought back to The accidental kiss that happened between him and Kari. His face turned bright red at the very thought of it.
"Ugh, I have homework to do that I'll see at dinner." Davis rushed to his room before shutting the door behind him.
Hopping onto his bed the maroon haired boy looked at the ceiling. Many thoughts raced through his mind, such as how he was going to face Kari the next time he saw her.
The kiss was great, amazing even, and he was happy to have shared it with such a nice person.
Thinking back to Kari, he couldn't help but remember her beautiful brown eyes. Not only that, how soft and smooth her hand was, looking at his own hand wishing he could have held hers for a lot longer.
'Kari Kamiya… I think I'm in love.' Davis smiled, he wasn't really sure how he would react the next time he would see her but it didn't matter, in fact Davis was looking forward to spending time with Kari tomorrow.
