After the first season of Hazbin Hotel was fully released and inspired by TvFan2244's crossover with Helluva Boss, I began coming up with ideas and decided to write my own crossover of the Loud House with Hazbin Hotel. I know I probably won't be as good as TvFan but I'll try my best. I welcome any constructive feedback.

This takes place some time after season 5 in the Loud House and after the Hazbin Hotel pilot.

Disclaimer: this is a nonprofit fan-based crossover. I do not own the Loud House or Hazbin Hotel, so please support the official releases. They rightfully belong to their respective owners.

Rated M for swearing, violence, and suggestive and dark themes

Enjoy and a big thanks to TvFan2244

Life…

And Death…

Heaven…

And Hell…

Good…

And Wicked…

And whatever was in-between…

These are concepts that have been on the minds of many of mankind since its beginning and development into what it is today. They say we only live once, and how we chose to live that life determines what happens to our souls in the end. If one lives their life free of sin and mistakes, then they go to a paradise where they can enjoy an eternity of luxury and harmony as reward for their faith. If one were to live a life filled with unrepentant sin and never atone, they would be doomed to an eternity of suffering and never-ending torment as punishment for their mistakes with no hope of salvation. This was the belief throughout human history.

But what does it take for one to be worthy of passing through the gates of Heaven? What is considered so unforgiveable for one to be damned to the pits of Hell? Is the concept really as black and white as it appears?

Such questions do not linger on everyone's minds though. Some people merely go about their day living their lives the best they can while they still can. Cases like this can be found all other America, but a specific one revolved around a very odd and big family living in a small two-story, one-bathroom house in Royal Woods, Michigan. Wherever any member of this American family went, you could bet things would be Loud.

We now focus on a certain member of this family: a preteen boy with a very uncommon head of white hair that was not dyed in any way. Little did he know was that his already crazy life was about to get even crazier.

"Alright, it's finally today!" 12-year-old Lincoln Loud said excitedly to himself in his closet-sized bedroom. "Dad is cooking one of his greatest dishes: Mac and Cheese Casserole with Bits of Ham and Bread Crumb Crust on Top!" Then he noticed the readers. "I know what you're all thinking: Lincoln, with so many sisters, how are going to get enough of Dad's casserole for yourself? Well, let me tell you, this isn't the first time he's made this dish. It takes three hours to make. I've already set a timer for myself from when he started. When the last hour is almost up, I'll run down there and offer to help Dad set the table before he says dinner is ready. Once the table is all set, I'll take my seat as well as the first serving before anyone else does. Pure genius."

Then his alarm clock went off signaling the time to make his move.

"And that's my cue."

Lincoln rushed out of his room, slid down the banister, and bolted through the dining room and into the kitchen.

"Dad, since you've been working real hard on dinner, I thought I'd help by setting the table," the white-haired boy said to his father in an innocent-sounding tone.

"That's great, son," Lynn Sr. happily replied. "Just set the plates and utensils and I'll set the grub out in a minute."

The plan was working perfectly.

As quickly as he could, Lincoln set plates, forks, and knives for everyone at the table; his parents, nine sisters, and himself. Once all that was done, Lincoln immediately took his seat at the table.

Almost there…

"Now once Dad puts the food on the table, he will call everyone," Lincoln informed the readers. "But before my sisters make it down here, I'll have already taken my portion."

Just then, the chef of the house walked in wearing his apron, carrying a ceramic tray with mittened hands, and humming triumphantly to himself. And in that tray, was what Lincoln had been waiting for this whole time: Mac and Cheese Casserole with Bits of Ham and Bread Crumb Crust on Top! The excited boy watched as his father placed the tray on the table next to him.

Victory!

"Alright, dinner is ready!" Lynn Sr. called the rest of the family.

Holding the serving spoon, Lincoln was just about to dig in, when suddenly, a loud rumbling of multiple footsteps shook the house and then immediately silenced.

Something was wrong.

Before he could take his first scoop, Lincoln looked up and saw all his sisters standing in the entrance to the dining room ready to pounce like wild animals.

"Dang it, they've gotten faster," the boy grumbled.

He quickly ducked under the table as the girls lunged at the tray of grub and began fighting over it. Lincoln sat beneath the table out of danger, but with an empty plate.

Defeated… or Not?!

"Luckily, it pays to be the Fifth Best Junior Magician in Royal Woods," Lincoln reassured the audience taking out a handkerchief and putting it on the plate. After waving his hand in the air a couple times, he took off the handkerchief to reveal a good-sized serving of dinner.

After he was done with his meal and the fighting had died down, Lincoln sat up in his chair and joined the rest of his family at the table.

"Lincoln," Lucy, his 9-year-old goth sister, said in an emotionless tone which startled him out of his seat.

"Lucy, one of these days you're going to give me a heart attack," Lincoln complained.

"Brother, I just wanted to let you know that my tarot cards have spelled disturbing news."

"And what would that be?" Lincoln asked becoming a bit nervous while looking around the room to see if something was wrong or out of place.

"For the past few weeks, the spirits have been telling me that a grim future lies before you. The veil between the lands of the living and the departed will be lifted soon to reveal an eternal conflict between the forces of light and chaos, and you will be caught in the middle of it."

Lincoln's eyes darted from side to side before he slowly moved a few inches farther. "…Rrrright."

"The spirits have spoken. Be careful."

"If there's anything I've learned is that if you take Lucy's fortune telling too seriously it will eventually happen to you," Lincoln whispered to the readers.

Lincoln still loved his sister, even though she was a little creepy and over the top when in came to the macabre. Nevertheless, he knew how to deal with it. They would continue to live their semi-normal lives.

Nothing was going to change that.

"Listen up, kids," Rita, the matriarch of the family, announced. Her voice tone sounded a little anxious. "Yesterday, your father and I realized that tomorrow you all have important activities at different times and we almost freaked out."

"I thought I'd be biting my nails to the root," Lynn Sr. remarked.

"But luckily, thanks to a certain Man with the Plan," she said winking at her only son who smiled warmly in appreciation. It was nice to get a little recognition now and then. "We've made a schedule of whose activity we will attend all in order."

Hearing this, the table erupted in the loud cheering of the happy sisters.

Lincoln was also happy because his activity was also on that schedule. It was very, VERY rare for him to be included in a chance to get some of that wonderful spotlight that all his sisters bask in.

"I know everyone is excited for tomorrow."

"That's right," Lincoln excitedly spoke up. "Because tomorrow, I'm going to –"

"I can't wait to perform that new ribbon dance at the pageant," Lola, his 7-year-old pageant winning sister, interrupted.

"I'm going to break my record on fastest car repair at the race track," Lana, Lola's tomboyish twin, announced.

"But guys –" Lincoln tried to speak.

"I'm totes hyped for the fashion show at the mall," Leni, his 17-year-old fashion designing sister, excitedly interrupted.

"I'm going to rock the stage, YEAH!" Luna, his 16-year-old rockstar sister, exclaimed.

"I'm gonna crack up the audience at my comedy show just like Dad cracks the eggs for breakfast," Luan, his 15-year-old comedian sister, joked.

"Classic, Honey," Lynn Sr. complimented his daughter with a little chuckle.

"I intend to knock everyone dead at the Junior Morticians' Death Match," Lucy emotionlessly announced much to the nervousness of everyone.

Why did such a little girl have to be so creepy?

"Well… I am looking forward to demonstrating how far I've come in my magic skill–" Lincoln started announcing proudly.

"Pipe down, Stinkin'. Everyone's more interested in watching win at the Football Championship," Lynn Jr., his 14-year-old athlete sister, rudely interrupted.

"I'm eager to unveil my latest invention at the science fair," Lisa, his 5-year-old prodigy sister, announced. "It is a trans-dimensional portal generator that will be capable of transporting people from one location to another. With it, air travel will become a thing of the past."

"And Lily is ready to win her next 1st Place Award in the Royal Woods Infant Thumb-Sucking Contest," Rita announced holding her 2-year-old youngest child.

Yes, that was a thing here.

"Who's Mommy and Daddy's cutest winner?! You are. You are," Lynn Sr. said to his littlest girl in a cutesy voice making her giggle.

"But of course, there's someone we absolutely can not forget…" Rita said.

Lincoln beamed with pride and excitement. She was going to mention him for sure, he knew she would. How could she not? Who else was left?

"Lori!" Rita proudly announced holding up a tablet showing the face of his 18-year-old sister who was at college. "She's been preparing for her big golf tournament that's being held tomorrow."

"Send me all your support, you guys," Lori greeted her family through the tablet. "I'm literally gonna need it."

Everyone was excited about the achievements they were going to win tomorrow. Well, not everyone.

Lincoln lowered his head and let out a soft sigh of disappointment. He really wanted to announce his upcoming magic show he was planning to perform at the Royal Woods park but none of his family seemed at all interested. They were more focused on what his sisters were going to be doing. This wasn't the first time he felt forgotten or underappreciated, but it still hurt. He excused himself from the table and walked back up to his room. His absence went unnoticed.

The sad boy lay in his bed staring up at the ceiling wondering why he even bothers. Why was it always about his sisters? Why was it ALWAYS him who was being overlooked? He knew some of the things he was capable of weren't as impressive as most of his sisters, but wasn't there something about him that was unique, special, and noteworthy?

He needed someone to talk to.

Lincoln picked up the telephone on his dresser and decided to call Clyde McBride, his trusted confident and best friend. He listened to the ringtone while waiting for his call to be answered.

"Hello, you've dialed the number of Clyde McBride. I'm sorry I can't answer your call right now. Please leave a message and I will get back to you when I can… And if this is Lori calling because she's broken up with Bobby, don't worry, babe. Good Old Clyde will take good care of you. See you soon."

Once again, Lincoln sighed in disappointment. Even his best friend sounded more interested in hearing from his oldest sister.

"Hi Clyde, it's Lincoln," he sadly began recording his message. "If you're hearing this, I really need someone to talk to. Someone I can trust. I want to know if there is anyone who thinks I'm actually worth something." He had to pause for a moment to wipe away a single tear. "That there's something about me worth remembering. That the universe actually has a plan for me besides living in the shadows of my sisters. Well, we'll talk more about this later. Bye buddy, and thanks for listening."

After hanging up, Lincoln changed into his pajamas, got into bed, turned off the lights, and fell asleep. His dreams brought him no comfort as he wondered what his purpose in life was. So far, he found nothing.

If only there was something he could do that would make him feel special in the eyes of the universe.

It was morning.

The start of a brand-new day.

Lincoln woke up with some newfound optimism. He may have had a miserable night but today was going to be different. Today something extraordinary was bound to happen to him. Today he would get a chance to shine.

After getting dressed, he decided to start the day by performing a few tricks with his yoyo. He could tell that the rest of his family were all downstairs having breakfast so he wouldn't be able to disturb them and they wouldn't disturb him.

"Alright, today the Amazing Lincoln shall show off his awesome yoyo skills!" the white-haired boy boasted standing in the hallway outside his room. "First, Rock-the-Baby."

He performed the Rock-the-Baby trick.

Awesome!

"Now, the Elevator."

He performed the Elevator trick.

Excellent!

"And now, Around-the-World!"

He performed the Around-the-World trick, but then the yoyo slipped off his finger and flew into the room of his youngest sisters.

CRASH!

Oops!

Lincoln peered into the room to see if nothing important was damaged. At first, it seemed like nothing serious, until he looked over at a big metallic ring-shaped machine with a damaged control panel and a little green yoyo lying on the floor next to it.

"Oh no! Lisa's teleporter!" Lincoln cried in panic. If his sister found out he had damaged the new invention she was planning to show off at the science fair today, he'd be dead to her.

Consumed with fear, the 12-year-old boy rushed into the room, hoping nobody heard, and began examining the damage done by his yoyo.

"Okay… maybe…" Lincoln stammered and sweated looking for a miracle in the broken control panel. He touched one of the broken wires that was sticking out which gave him an electric shock. "Ow!"

Suddenly, the machine began making a humming noise. It had turned on.

Lincoln watched in awe as a green swirling energy portal appeared within the metallic circle. But then after a few sparks, it turned a glow red, fire began surrounding the edges of the portal, and began making the sound of a growling beast.

Lincoln's fear grew to new heights as he started feeling a force from the red portal begin to pull him in. Desperately, he tried to make a break for the door, but no matter how fast he ran the force pulled him in closer and closer. He dropped to the floor and grabbed hold of the carpet for dear life. But after a moment, he lost his grip and went flying backwards into the red portal and was gone.

Lincoln screamed as he found himself tumbling through a bright red tunnel. At first, he thought he heard his scream echo multiple times as he fell, but they didn't sound like his screams. Could this be it? The ending to the short and sad story of Lincoln Albert Loud? He closed his eyes and prepared for the end that he felt was coming.

Suddenly…

THUD!

… he felt himself land on what felt like concrete pavement.

Lincoln opened his eyes and surprisingly found himself in the middle of a street. As he got up, he looked around and found that was in what looked like a city; there were buildings and streetlamps everywhere. But something was off. He didn't recognize this place. Everything was mostly red, even the sky.

"What happened?" Lincoln nervously asked himself as he observed his strange surroundings. Then when he looked up, his eyes widened in complete shock. Up in the sky was a giant… Pentagram.

"Where am I?!"

Author's Note: I decided to split this long prologue chapter into two parts and this is the first part.

Hope it gets you invested.
