Chapter 13: Wedding Shenanigans
I Only Own the Plot

I couldn't be more happy with my dress. Mari was completely right. I have an ivory and champagne colored strapless dress. It has a sweetheart neckline and mermaid fit. The back is sheer lace with vines of flowers spread across my back. Buttons that start at the base of my neck and go all the way down to the top of my butt. The sleeves and the front of the dress had the same pattern of vines with flowers. My sleeves are the same materials as the back of the dress. My dress fits me like a glove. It molded my breasts and pushed them high to the sky, while also pinching in my midsection, and it also hugged my hips and ass as if it was specifically sculpted for my lower half. The bottom of my dress has plenty of tulle that starts mid-thigh and flows all the way to the ground and flares out to a train.
While looking into the mirror assessing myself one last time, I see my dad in the corner looking at me with a smile and tears in his eyes. I give him a tearful smile back.
"Annie, for my piece of mind, I have to ask one last time. Are you sure? I just spoke to Christian and I have no doubt about his commitment to you and your marriage. I just want to be sure you are not rushing Annie. You're my little girl. Well not little girl because you're a grown woman, but you'll always be my little girl. Anyhow, just say the word Annie and we can flee the scene right now." He says and then suddenly gives me a cheeky look. "We can even leave Luke here to find his own way back home." We both laugh at the picture that paints. Luke would be frantic trying to look for me.
"Dad, Christian is my love. The love that you don't miss out on because off some stupid timeline. It's the breath of fresh air you get stepping into nature for the first time. I hate the term 'He's my everything' because although he is my top person, I still love you and Luke, but Christian is who I prioritize now. He's who I call when I have a bad day at work or when I close a big deal with a company to write their public statements. I want kids with him and to build a life with him." I know Ray can see how serious I am because he doesn't even hesitate after that. He gives me the Steele nod and holds out his arm.
"Well Mrs. Grey, Let's get this show on the road. You are more beautiful than any bride I have ever seen. Christian might faint. I hope Luke is recording." I thread my arm through his while laughing.
We head for the French doors and it is more beautiful outside than I could have imagined. The lights are dancing across the skies as if they are celebrating our union. I knew that this would be the best time to get married. Our wedding pictures are going to look amazing.
We round the corner and all I can see is my future. He's waiting for me. ME?! I am glad he didn't go with the slacks and button down. In true Christian Grey form, he has on a tailored suit that seems like it was handcrafted for him. He is wearing a classic black and whIte tux and it has never looked better. I wonder what made him change his mind.
"Holy shit!" I hear him and Jason exclaim when they could finally see all of me. I can't help but giggle.
"I think that was better than them fainting" my dad whispers and we have a quick laugh. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Luke recording and give him a very grateful smile. He winks at me. I can't believe how lucky I am to have him as my brother. Of course, I'll never tell him that, but there's no one I would pick other than him to be my brother.
"Take care of her Christian." My dad says. He leans in and gives me a quick kiss on the cheek and puts my hand in Christians after Christian gives him a firm nod. As soon as my fingertips touch his palm, I know this is right. I feel immediately at home.

Watching my Beauty walk down the aisle to me will forever be ingrained into my brain. I don't care if I become old and senile, that vision will forever hold me together. I couldn't tell you what kind of dress she has on, but I know it was made specifically with her in mind. It had to have been. She looks way too perfect for that dress to not have been designed for her.
"Hi Beauty. My God. I have never seen someone as beautiful as you. Nothing in this world can ever compare. Not now, not ever." I couldn't hold that in anymore. She had to know that she is the most beautiful thing in my eyes. She lets out a sigh and gives me the most beautiful smile. My smile. The smile she gave me when we first met.
"I love you Baby." she tells me while still smiling.
"Forever" I responded.
"Alright, now that you guys got that out of the way, let's get this show on the road. I'm excited to see where this marriage is going to take us." Jason says while giving a deep chuckle.
"We are going to keep this nice and simple. Short and sweet. I am going to give you guys a chance to say your own vows from the heart and then by the power vested in me I am going to make you man and wife. So let's begin." Jason says.
"I have never met a couple who has clicked as instantly as you all have. I never thought that I would see Christian get to this day. Not that he isn't loveable, kind, and caring. He just doesn't let people in, through no fault of his own, but that never applied to Anastasia. Ana has made him smile more in this past month than I have ever seen working for him for 6 years. She is his beacon of light and I am so happy that we are here today to celebrate them basking in their love. Christian, would you like to be the first to say your vows?" Jason asks and I give him a quick nod before turning my gaze back on my Beauty.
"Ana, my Beauty, I cannot thank you enough for showing me that I can be loved outside of what I have to offer to people. Your spark that you have brought into my life will forever be cherished. I will hold you in our times of sorrow and in our times of happiness. I will laugh with you in our times of joy and cry with you in our times of sadness. I say our because from the moment I met you, there was no longer you and I, it has been we. From this day forward, in front of our most cherished family and God, you have my vow to always be faithfully by your side. My heart, body, and soul will belong to no other except you. My love is guaranteed yours for the rest of our lives and will only be shared with our future children and grandchildren. I love you Beauty." I didn't even realize I was crying until she sweetly reached up and wiped under my eyes and my cheeks. I do the same for her while trying to ruin her makeup.
"Ana, would you like to go?" Jason asks.
"Well, I don't know how I will follow that up, but I have to try." My beauty says while giggling and sniffling. We all let out a chuckle.
"Christian, Baby, we all know how much I love to read and I have always fantasized about my one true love. Well, once I read in a book that true love comes when you least expect it. Your soulmate is someone who comes into your life and makes you forget about everything you have ever thought you knew about true love. Your soulmate is someone who feels like your best friend even though you've not known them long at all. Baby, I can say without a shadow of a doubt, you are my soulmate. You made me realize I don't have to be afraid of love. You taught me that true love isn't something you hide from, it is something you embrace with glee because there is no better feeling than being loved by your best friend and soulmate. Christian, I promise to love you everyday of our forever. To be by your side in times of our despair. To wrap my arms around your waist and lay my head on your chest when celebrating our happy times. To never give up on our love and to forever be faithfully yours. I also promise to lazily scratch your bare back while I'm reading and you are typing away on your computer just how you love. Christian these are my bonding vows to you." My Beauty says giggling at that last vow she said. We have long given up any chance of wiping our tears away and we are letting them flow freely.
I heard my mother gasp at the part where Ana talked about laying her head on my chest and scratching my back. I couldn't and wouldn't tear my eyes away from Beauty to even look in her direction. I believe now she understands. Ana is meant for me. Jason clears his throat before he starts back up.
"Well, there's not much I can say after. By the power vested in me, by the state of Washington, I now pronounce you husband and wife. Christian, here comes your favorite part. You may now kiss the bride." Jason didn't even get the chance to finish his statement before I launched myself and Beauty and crashed my lips to hers. Finally, she's all mine.
I faintly hear our family clapping and laughing in the back and Luke yells out, "Let my sister breath Chris!"
"Alright, everyone, let's get some photos with just the couple and then the parentals, then group photos. After that we are going to get a couple of them cutting the cake and then we can go our separate ways and let the newlyweds be alone for the night." Luke says. We already agreed on no public dances since neither Ray nor Grace can dance and both hate dancing in public. Beauty and I will have our own private first dance later tonight.
We quickly get the photos done and we all grab a flute of champagne that Gail has brought from inside.
"I just want to say thank you on behalf of Beauty and myself. There is no other group of people we would have wanted here to share our special day. You guys are our family and we love you all. Even Luke." We all chuckle and toast glasses. "Now, if you will excuse us, we would like to get our night started." I say with a wink behind Ray's back.
"Gross" we hear Luke mumble and start to stalk off. We all laugh behind his back.
"Well, husband, lead the way." Beauty says after we say our goodnights to our family. I take her hand and start to lead her upstairs. This is going to be a long night.
AN: I wasn't expecting to update this soon again, but the reviews from Linda Dockery have made my entire night! I just want to say I appreciate each and everyone of you who are willing to stick with me while I write my first ever fanfic. It means the world. Up next: the wedding night and saying goodbye to the parents. Until next time, Laters, babes!
