Welcome to the next chapter of DxD – The Last Amagiri, but before starting. Let's answer some reviews:

Rider126: I do plan on Kensei wielding it a lot more.

altajir95: Thanks. And this is Zane we're talking about, so the upgrades will be insane. We are also receiving word from the Four Great Satan from Ravel about the Norse and Greek Factions. He started his date with Brynhildr (Sigrún), met Mimir who was most recognized in GoW, and received a book from China. Also learning more about Brynhildr during their picnic, her past and rival/best friend, before going back to her house to their date continued and becoming engaged.

shephawk: Thanks. I'm glad to hear you liked their date and Brynhildr's name. I have the same feeling, in writing Mimir's lines, I'm reminded of Mimir from God of War (2018), plus the connection to their Valkyrie Queen. I can imagine that happening seeing as the Kibou Town could be seen as a neutral location, with the addition of Genbu arriving there at the same time and knowing her crush on Vali. Those would be a lot of good fights between them, being a good chance for them to get closer.

Guest: I have received requests for Fairy Tail and that specific pairing. I can imagine how it would be an interesting idea for the MC to help Mirajane overcome her trauma.

Qnon: Thanks for the compliment. I wanted Last Amagiri and Team DUSK to show the kind of storytelling I improved on due to this site.

The Reunion

"Ngh."

Kensei woke up, laying down in Brynhildr's bed as the light of Asgard reached his face, leading to him waking up. He reflexively rubbed his eye with his free hand, the other was around his newest fiancèe, who was awake and currently staring at him with a beautiful smile.

"Good morning, Darling."

Brynhildr said with a beautiful smile.

"Morning, Sigrún."

"…."

She felt herself being stimulated by those words as happiness filled her heart, which she had been dreaming of hearing for the longest of times.

"Well, let's get ready for the morning and I'll prepare breakfast."

Brynhildr replied, getting up from bed and giving him a decent look at her ass in the negligee she wore.

After that, she was surprised to be pulled back into the bed, before noticing that Kensei was on top of her with a smile on his face.

"How about this for an idea? You rest in bed and let me cook you breakfast."

Kensei asked.

"…okay."

Brynhildr couldn't come up with one response except that she was watching her fiance stand above her, with a confident and alluring look. She might have been older than him, but Kensei was without a doubt the foremost experienced in charming women. Also, this was another dream of hers to have her husband cooking breakfast or a simple meal as she rested.

"But, how about a taste first?"

Kensei said before leaning forward and kissing Brynhildr, who melted into the kiss.

After a couple of minutes, the two separated with Kensei finding himself in the kitchen and preparing a meal, while Brynhildr was getting dressed. Around the time, she was dressed, she waited at the table wearing a smile on her face as the things she dreamed of were coming true.

"It might not be something that could compare to Sigrún's cooking. But, I'm not a slouch in the kitchen," Kensei said calmly, making the final touches. "Claire and everyone else used to joke about being worried about me left in the kitchen when it was our turn to switch cleaning duties. I guess I inherited my mom's culinary talents because I picked up cooking quickly."

"You're mother was a good cook?"

"One of the best cooks. But, of course, if you weren't me and complimented or teased her about it, she would get a little violent from embarrassment."

"Is that so?"

Brynhildr asked amused, knowing of Kensei's past from previous conversations and interactions, loving to hear about it each time because it sounded as if he was having fun.

After finishing preparing breakfast, he came hauling two plates in his hands, as two glasses of orange juice were floating beside him with telekinesis. Soon enough, the plates were set on the table, with Brynhildr receiving hers first. She looked to find that their simple breakfast consisted of pancakes with berries, whipped cream and syrup, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausages.

"Oh, this looks delicious."

Brynhildr was surprised to find a meal such as this.

"I hope that it's up to your taste. I can imagine that eating delicious meals might dim your taste to others."

Kensei stated, taking a seat in front of Brynhildr.

"My tastebuds aren't affected by anything."

Brynhildr smiled at the joke that Kensei made, then found herself cutting into the pancakes, with the softness of it making them easier to cut into. After stabbing it with her fork, she'd picked it up and placed the breakfast right in her mouth.

"Hmm~"

Brynhildr found herself smiling and mewling at the taste and sweetness.

"This is quite delicious."

Brynhildr replied, with Kensei smiling at it.

"It's good to know a master chef herself likes what I cook."

Kensei stated as he and Brynhildr kept eating their breakfast that the new fiancè prepared for her. She felt a far greater sense of happiness and accomplishment as she sat on the other side of the man she decided was THAT person she was waiting for. She might have been older than him and he might have been a teenager, however, Kensei was entirely different from any man and god she ever interacted with.

"So, what's the first thing that you wanted to do today?"

Kensei asked.

He and Brynhildr were cleaning the dishes together with a calm and happy expression on both of their faces. Kensei was curious about what the Chief Valkyrie had planned for their next time together, which was also the last day of the weekend before returning to Kibou Town.

"Hm. I did have something in mind, but that depends on if you're prepared for it."

"Oh, why does that seem like a challenge?"

Kensei asked, sending a smile in Brynhildr's direction.

"Well, it depends on how you see it as a 'challenge'," Brynhildr replied, finding real fun in having these kinds of conversations with Kensei. "That aside, I do think that it would be fun going around Asgard too."

"Oh, let me guess, you want to walk around and show off your new fiancè and ring."

Kensei teasingly stated.

"Am I that shallow to you," Brynhildr asked, with Kensei staring at her with a knowing look and smile. "Uh, I want to go around and show everyone I'm not the Eternal or Perpetual Virgin and Chief Spinster everyone said behind my back at school and as a Chief Valkyrie. Hah, suck it!"

"She's so thinking that."

Kensei thought smiling at Brynhildr's cute thoughts based on the reaction from her soul.

Not much time passed, and after finishing up, both she and him got dressed and prepared for the morning. Brynhildr walked outside her home with a vibrant smile and outlook on life, having her engagement ring on the appropriate smile. She clasped his hand as they around Asgard, some people and gods noticed the two walking together and some noticed the engagement ring, gasping.

"*gasp* Is that an engagement ring?"

"I-It is…."

"It is possible."

Several people couldn't hide their surprise at Brynhildr wearing an engagement ring, as if it was so surprising and impossible to believe.

"Has the Eternal Virgin, the Ultimate Spinster finally settled down?"

A random god stated, wondering if that was the case.

"We have noticed that she'd been getting rather close to one of the youths whom Lord Odin has been pouring his attention into."

"It seems so. I didn't think that Brynhildr would go through with it."

"Yeah, almost none of the Valkyrie followed through in those situations."

"But, does that mean that the Chief Valkyrie is going to enter retirement?"

"It might be."

Those were some of the conversations the two started hearing with Brynhildr, seeming to ignore them and being happier to have proven those beliefs false. As such, she continued walking with the pride that one would expect from the Chief Valkyrie and the Strongest Valkyrie of their generation. Kensei couldn't help but maintain a constant smile as they continued walking together.

"Well, this is a lot more attention than what I was expecting. I know that it's pretty much a trend that Valkyrie are almost always workaholics that wait a long time to find a lover. But, this is kinda a bit much."

Kensei stated, sensing the different eyes of the gods and people who happened to look at them.

It almost felt something similar to a running gag that continued without end in the Norse Pantheon something that he would often see when Rossweisse happened to be in Odin's general vicinity. Of course, it would lead to them receiving constant calls and conversations over the magic circle between her and Alice. After their first meeting, it was a quick friendship built between them that year over the last year.

[Captain?!]

Suddenly, Brynhildr and Kensei heard the familiar sounds of the Valkyrie Squad approaching them at high speed until stopping a fairer distance from them. It was almost cartoonish to see him stopping and seeming to kick up a dust cloud. Not in their Valkyrie armor, but instead dressed in their casual attire that did match their particular styles.

"What's wrong?"

Brynhildr asked, staring at her subordinates curiously.

"Is it true?"

"Yes, is it?!"

"It couldn't be true!"

"Is it?!"

Brynhildr could hear the questions from her subordinates.

"Yes, it is true," Brynhildr replied, wrapping her arm around Kensei's arm. "Kensei and I have become officially engaged."

[[[[…!]]]]

In that instance, the four women of the Valkyrie Squad stared at their leader wearing the same sad expression, starting to progress to tears.

"Waaah, Captain, you're a traitor!"

"How could you leave us behind and get hitched?!"

"We made a vow!"

"Waaah!"

Kensei looked, unable to know how to feel as he watched the members of the Valkyrie Squad huddling together, in tears about their leader 'leaving them behind'.

"Guys. I know that we've all struggled together over the years. All the pain as our fellow Valkyrie found their love and retired to start their own family. As the Valkyrie Squad, we remained together despite that and hoped to find that special person who would make that long wait worth it. Our prince on the white horse that'd sweep us off our feet."

"That is adorable and so innocent."

Kensei thought as he heard that fantasy from Brynhildr.

"But, me, the Eternal Virgin and Chief Spinster managed to find someone and amazing person better than most of the men in our faction," Brynhildr stated directing her hand to Kensei, who remained motionless. "So, there is no doubt in my mind that like me, you too would find love as I did."

[[[[Captain!]]]]

After Brynhildr's strong and determined declaration and speech, the Valkyrie Squad members were brought to tears, but this time for a different reason. All of them shared the same feeling of loneliness and bitterness about not finding that special person in their lives, building up a particular bond. After that, the Valkyrie Squad moved in and then wrapped their arms around their Captain, who wrapped her arms around them.

"Well, this is such an oddly cute moment."

Kensei thought as he continued watching the scene playing out.

He couldn't help but notice some of the people and gods were going about their business, some found the scene as heartwarming as he did. However, that did make him wonder how many incidents like this happened for their Valkyrie Squad's actions to be treated as normal. However, then again, with Odin as the Chief God, this might be one of the most normal situations.

"I'm sorry, you had to see something like this, Kensei."

Brynhildr replied as she and the Valkyrie Squad members felt embarrassed.

"It's fine. I have seen something similar a lot before with a particular group."

Kensei replied, thinking of previous incidents involving that 'particular group' in question.

""Achoo!""

Meanwhile, in Kibou Town, Claire and Kunou sneezed as if sensing that 'someone' was talking about them which was happening when the Sword Team minus Minako was having a meeting.

"Huh, what was that? Neither of you are getting sick, are you?"

Ravel asked curiously.

"No, I haven't gotten sick in a long time."

Claire replied, scratching her nose.

"I have always wondered if Devil gets sick too."

Lingqi mentioned, bringing up that curious thought that had been on her mind for a while.

"Devils do get sick too. It is a fever similar to what Humans get, but when we get sick, we lose the ability to use our demonic powers and sixth senses. It was a terrible experience for me the first time I came down with it."

Ravel stated, thinking about the time she had Devil Fever and recalled the severe and terrible feeling.

"I know that neither Lingqi nor Kensei could know the feeling of that seeing as neither of them has been sick."

Alice pointed out, with Lingqi unable to deny that, as she hasn't experienced a sick day or moment her entire life.

"Well, if we're not sick, then doesn't that mean Ken-chan is talking about us?"

Kunou stated, being in thought about that.

"Maybe. Well, it'll be something we'll need to focus on later," Claire stated wondering if that was the case herself, as she adjusted her posture in her seat and looked more like the second-in-command of the team. "First, Ravel is there anything else mentioned about Diodora?"

"Mm, it seems as if there has been some news about some odd activity with him. Based on the information from Ajuka-sama, Diodora's previous activities seem to be different from before. All of this seemed to start stemming from the death of the previous Heir of Glasya-Labolas."

Ravel revealed, going through the information she received from Ajuka and was sharing with them.

"Hm, does that mean Diodora was responsible or involved in his death?"

Lingqi suggested, finding the correlations between the incident and the current situation with Diodora.

"That is something that Ajuka-sama thought of too. But, the previous Heir was someone stronger than Diodora, I heard a lot of higher-ups believed he would be a forerunner in the Rating Games," Ravel replied. "His records of completing missions assigned by the Archduke and coordination with his peerage was rumored to be second to none among the current generation."

"So, what happened to his peerage?"

"At the time, he and his peerage were out on another mission, that was the reason that his death was treated as accidental death. It was an incident that led to his peerage being judged and blamed for his death, the Queen, in particular. But, after being questioned, it sounds as if the members had reasonable reasons to have separated as their targets were in different locations at the time."

"So, someone could have been watching them and used the situation to separate the Glasya-Labolas Heir from his peerage," Claire thought out loud seeing that as the ideal chance to catch someone off-guard. "Either there's someone among the Archduke who sent them there on purpose, which is unlikely based on what I heard about their family. Or, someone created a situation in that location knowing that the Archduke would see that as them as the most ideal in handling it."

"That sounds likely Claire-sama. It was a situation created to kill the Glasya-Labolas' heir."

Ravel stated.

"Hm, wait a second, wasn't the current Maou, Falbium Asmodeus from the Glasya-Labolas Clan too?"

"Yes, Falbium-sama is also a close friend of Sirzechs-sama, Ajuka-sama, and Serafall-sama from the time of the previous Maou Descendants before the eventual civil war. But, oh, I see, Lingqi-sama?"

Ravel seemed to have guessed what Lingqi was thinking about with that train of thought.

"What?"

"The question is why the Glasya-Labolas Heir was targeted, right? Is it because he's a promising Heir and a King with a well-coordinated group? Or, could it be because he's related to the current Asmodeus who hails from the same clan?"

Claire replied, saying the thought that was on Lingqi's and Ravel's minds about the incident.

"I'm going based on my experience in the Hero Faction. But, the idea is that we're hero descendants going after monsters, dangerous monsters who target Humans in legends. If we're talking about the Old-Maou Faction, the group believes they were robbed of their birthright and other members lost the civil war. So, going by the logic, the targets would be the relatives of the current Maou."

"So, Diodora's actions and the death of the Glasya-Labolas' Heir could be related. But, why work with someone related to the Maou they hate," Kunou pointed out. "If that's the case, then wouldn't he become a target too?"

"I doubt they have things like loyalty with those outside their faction. But, it begs the question as to why Diodora intends on joining them."

Claire pointed out, not knowing the reason that Diodora would want to work with a group whose intention leans to their hatred for the current Underworld.

"Well, we already imagine he isn't someone who cares about the rules and is shady since he is suspicious of also entering a Church. And due to that incident, Asia-san happened to have been excommunicated, leaving for Kuoh Town where she was reincarnated, and then coincidentally met her again."

Lingqi pointed out, noting the different things that seemed to point the finger at Diodora being suspicious.

"Well, if that's the case, then let's give Ajuka one of my monsters to put into his shadow to see what skeletons he has in his closet."

Alice pointed out, as a small monster came out from her shadow.

"That's true, Alice-sama's Annihilation Maker turned into a unique Sub-Species which lets her store the monsters she creates in her shadow. So, you could put monsters into other shadows and command them from a farther distance."

"Well, it takes focus to always maintain a connection. So, unless something happens, they would need to contact me to let me know what happened."

Alice suggested.

"Alright, then let's finish our discussion and then contact Ajuka-sama about the idea."

Claire stated, with the other women there agreeing with that idea.

From there, the four continued with the discussion and ideas about what was happening involving Diodora, an incident that caught their attention and suspicions more and more. All the while, the group was making personal preparations to ensure that Kensei would know what was happening when he wasn't there with them.

In Asgard, Kensei found himself continuing to walk with Brynhildr to the next location that she was more secretive about. After the incident with the Valkyrie Squad, he found himself being bombarded with questions and requests from the members for the still-single Kibou Alliance members. Of course, he responded that he'd help them, but he didn't mention that there might be something planned already in the future. But, after that, the engaged couple received compliments and congratulations from the Valkyrie Squad.

"Hah, well that was an interesting interaction with them."

Kensei stated as he glanced at the still-embarrassed Brynhildr.

"I'm sorry about that display. We met at the same training institute as one another, the same as my old friend. All of us promised to find that special someone and have comforted one another when that time didn't time."

Brynhildr replied, thinking back to the incident a couple of minutes before.

"Well, it's nothing to apologize for. Besides, it was cute to see you doing that."

"…is that so?"

Brynhildr asked, with flushed cheeks.

"Besides, the Kibou Alliance does have something in mind for the Norse Faction in the future. And it might prove a benefit to the Valkyries and the Valkyrie Squad."

Kensei replied, catching her attention.

"And that would be?"

Brynhildr asked curiously.

"Well, much like this little walk of ours, that's a surprise."

Kensei teasingly replied, smiling at her.

"Hah? That's something you can't tell your latest fiancèe."

Brynhildr replied with a smile.

"It's a surprise for the Valkyries, so, it wouldn't be right to tell the Chief Valkyrie."

Kensei reasoned teasingly while shrugging his shoulders.

"Alright then."

Brynhildr smiled and decided to let it go there, before noticing they arrived at their destination.

Kensei looked to find they stood in front of a simple-looking house made of brick, enough for a small family to reside in. He noticed the two walked a fair distance, with some time around Asgard to reach this location, with him knowing that only a particular group of special people were allowed to reside in Asgard. Among them, it was the Walkure, the half-Gods who would train to become Valkyrie and defend their pantheon.

"So, want to guess who lives here?"

Brynhildr asked, almost copying the same thing as what Kensei did before.

"Hm, I have an idea, but let's see and knock on the door if I'm right."

"Alright then."

Brynhildr did just that and knocked on the door, waiting for a response.

Before long, the door opened revealing an older woman bearing a strong resemblance to the one standing right beside him. She was dressed in simple attire one would expect from an old housewife, wearing a smile as she stared at the two.

"Oh, it's Sig and the young man she's talked so much about."

"M-Ma, p-please don't say that in front of him."

Brynhildr replied, speaking in her rural accent.

"…."

Kensei tried not to laugh at that reaction.

"Oh, please don't be such a worrywart. I have always told you since you were a little young'un that you'd always stress yourself out doing that," her mother stated staring at her daughter and speaking to her as if she was still a young girl. "Oh, please come in. I don't want an important guest to be left out on our front doorstep."

"Thanks, ma'am."

Kensei punctually replied.

"Oh, and he has manners too. But, you could call me Ma too since you're engaged to our little Sig."

"Ma."

Brynhildr sighed at being called a cute nickname in front of Kensei, who removed his shoes and walked in to find the home was rather well-kept and looked like a family home.

He could see the number of photos that were centered around the home, most of whom consisted of Brynhildr as a child, with other relatives, and progressing more into a teen and adult. It showed the amount of care and detail her parents put into recording her development.

"Ah, so this is the young man, Hildr."

Kensei heard a man's voice enter the room, sounding strong and firm.

He turned to find a rather tall and muscular old man with graying hair, dressed in casual attire one would expect from the homeowner enjoying their day.

"Yes, dear, this is the Kensei our Sig has been talking about so much."

Brynhildr's mother, Hildr replied, as her father stared at Kensei curiously without showing whether or not he liked or disliked him.

"Hello, sir, I am…."

"Hm?"

At that, Brynhildr's father placed his hand on Kensei's shoulders with a decent amount of force behind that first act. But, the young man didn't buckle down from the pressure that he was feeling from his shoulders, and neither did he budge from it either. It then started moving from his shoulders to his arms, almost as if the man was trying to feel something out from his daughter's fiancè.

"Pa."

"Hm, muscle tone for someone such as yourself. I could tell you're a swordsman without needing any other kind of sign of the manner," Brynhildr's father stated, rubbing his chin before giving him a thumbs up. "Alright, he looks to be the perfect match for Sig."

"Oh, dear, you aren't going to go the overprotective father mode."

Hildr asked.

"What's the point of that? Our Sigrún is the Chief Valkyrie, the strongest from her generation and an experienced one in combat against some of the most dangerous foes before," her father replied. "Besides, that kind of act is for when your daughter is still a teen. And our Sig is almost 4…."

Slap!

Suddenly, much to Kensei's surprise, but not by much was slapped by Brynhildr, sending him flying towards the other side of the house. She stared at her father with flaring eyes as magic power radiated from her as an aura, as her father came close to mentioning her age. Of course, Kensei was aware that mentioning such a thing to a woman was the ultimate taboo.

"Pa, why did ya haf to go and try to mention somethin' like that to Kensei?!"

Brynhildr asked, glaring at her father.

"Ouch ouch ouch, that is still a strong slap," Her father got up from his position groaning as his daughter sent him flying. "Ah, it's not as if it'll always remain a secret, Sig. I'm sure he could already guess."

"He's not technically wrong."

Kensei thought. If he had to be honest, he could potentially sense someone's age using Senjutsu, because it was based on sensing life force. But, of course, he never did such a thing and had no reason to do that.

"He's not rude like ya!"

Brynhildr shouted glaring at her father.

"I guess that it's a good thing that you waited so long because I can't find anything wrong with the kid."

"Of course, you can't, Kensei is perfect!"

Kensei stood by watching as the father and daughter had their back and forth with one another.

"Well come on dear, they're going to be at this for a while," Hildr signaled for Kensei to follow her into the kitchen. "Some things with them never change no matter how much time passes. You two came at the best time, dinner won't take that long to cook. I just need to prepare a couple more things."

"Well, is there anything I can do to help?"

"Well, can you cut up some vegetables? I know a swordsman might be best at cutting those better than most."

"I'll do just that."

Kensei replied, smiling, and had one of the knives float to him through telekinesis, surprising Hildr from the action and sense it was some power that originated from their foreign faction.

Cut! Cut! Cut! Cut! Cut!

In almost a flash, Hildr witnessed Kensei cutting up vegetables one would expect from a master chef who trained in swordsmanship for a long time. She couldn't dismiss or comment negatively about how either of them was cut up, being perfect for what she was making.

"I see that you're an expert in cooking too."

Hildr stated as she continued her preparations for dinner.

"I learned some things. I mean, I'm not as good as Sigrún is at cooking."

"Oh, that is partly due to our family's special cooking and recipes meant to grant the proper nutrients needed. In Asgard, the Norse Heroes are properly fed and trained to prepare for battle, meaning that mastering such things is the most essential for someone looking to marry a Hero."

Hildr stated, with Kensei noticing that such a thing is important for training as a martial artist and swordsman.

"Well, I'm sure Brynhildr would like talking to Claire, another fiancee of mine back at home about cooking meals for that reason too."

"Oh, don't worry, Sig told me about the other girls. My husband and I were there watching that match from almost a year ago."

"Oh, is that so?"

Kensei asked, moving on to the next set of vegetables.

"Yes, my husband and I saw a lot of young people fighting against our daughter and her team, before fighting off that dangerous Dragon that has caused us a lot of trouble. He is a difficult opponent to deal with, more than the other Evil Dragons because he continuously returns."

"Hm, if he returned. I wouldn't mind a rematch with him."

"No, he hasn't returned yet. Well, if he had, then he's likely hiding his presence. Ufufu, I haven't heard of many Heroes who wouldn't mind fighting against an Evil Dragon."

Hildr was amused her future son-in-law wouldn't mind a rematch against Niðhöggr, despite most Gods, Dragons, and Heroes finding dealing with Evil Dragons troublesome. She didn't have an issue with him, aside from their fight with the Abyss Rage Dragon, Hildr heard enough about Kensei that it felt as if she knew enough about him to have already accepted him. She was aware that her daughter wasn't the type to accept anyone this much unless she trusted and acknowledged them as a friend and ally.

"Well, I should let Odin know if he reemerges to let me have a rematch with him."

"Heh, our Sig found quite an interesting young man. The more I talk to you, the more I see the reason that she first became impressed with you."

"Well, the same thing could be said about her. I haven't met many women like her before."

"Hm, that's impressive to admit."

"Well, I promised that I would live an honest life."

"That's a good promise and life to live. But, have you noticed it yet?"

"Noticed what?"

"Sig's so-called serious face, when she's thinking something else."

Hildr replied with a knowing smile as Kensei almost burst out into a laugh after that, something that answered her question without a response.

"Oh, that Sig of mine has had that habit since she was a little girl. She was such a serious child that it was hard to believe she was a child," she started as Kensei handed her the cut-up vegetables that she added to the pot. "I remember one time when we bought her a doll, she wore a stone face. But, sometimes we caught her playing with it, cutely pretending it was her daughter."

"R-Really? I often caught her doing that too, most of the time it's when we're together."

"Hah, that girl never loses that habit. I do wonder if her daughters would inherit that trait from her," Hildr stated, wearing a smile at a certain memory. "In all her life, there was one person who could always bring out Sig's true thoughts and feelings."

"And that would be her best friend?"

"I'm surprised she talked about her. Hah, those two were inseparable and closer to sisters if anything. She would always come here to have dinner with us and bring out a side of Sig no one in our family had seen before. Her name was Geiravör, truly a kind child despite her family history."

Kensei was confused by what she meant about that and received an answer as Hildr continued speaking she placed the lid on the pot.

"Her parents were a Valkyrie and Magician, their curious minds brought them together, leading to them having a daughter. But, their research into the greater depths of knowledge led them to ignore that child, leading to her other relatives tending to her. But, in the end, it led them to commit an incident in Alfheim to accomplish their magic research and came to blows with the King and Queen," Hildr explained, letting a sigh escape from her mouth. "It led to their punishment as ordered by the Norse Gods, the family lost their famed magic and Geiravör was left a stigma on her from their actions."

Kensei listened to what Hildr explained to him and realized the kind of past that Geiravör had with Brynhildr.

"So, she had a hard time training to be a Valkyrie?"

"She did. A child ignored by her parents, who betrayed what the Valkyrie stood for, it looked like a textbook case of another incident happening. But, that girl took it in stride and kept going to become a Valkyrie and make what for what happened. She grew into such a charismatic and charming girl that no one said such things anything," a smile could be seen on Hildr's face. "Hah, Sig and Geiravör brought out the best of each other. So, much so that no one would have minded either being the next Brynhildr."

"She sounds like an awesome person."

"She is. And I don't doubt that she still is," Hildr stated, as she stared into the pot and smiled. "Alright, let that cook for a little while longer, and then dinner will be done. So, let's go and check up on those two."

"Yes, ma'am."

Kensei agreed with the two heading into the living room and found a familiar sight.

"What do ya mean it's my fault?!"

"I said that you wouldn't have had much trouble if you were a little more honest with yourself. You could never do something as simple as expressing yourself."

"That is untrue. I'll have ya know, I have expressed myself just fine, ya'know!"

"Right, when would that be?"

"Pa, I'm not a little girl anymore who can't express herself!"

"…."

Kensei tried holding back his smile as he witnessed the continued back and forth with father and daughter with it being ongoing despite them just being in the kitchen.

"I did tell you they would continue with this routine."

Hildr stated, smiling at their interaction.

"Hah, this seems somewhat familiar."

Kensei stated, with a smile and blank as the two continued arguing.

Meanwhile, in Kibou Town, yet again Claire and Kunou sneezed in response to feeling as if a 'certain someone' was talking about them. Of course, that led them to become more curious about what said person was talking or thinking about them.

After dinner was done, the mother and father, sat with their daughter and future son-in-law, where they discussed a multitude of things. It led to them learning a lot more about one another and their family on both ends, with the parents hearing more about Kensei's past, the Amagiri Clan, and the Kibou Alliance. Of course, this led to them also hearing about Hagun Island, which earned sympathy from them. And seeing him far more and more as a mature young man instead of a child in their eyes.

All that did was make it easier for them to accept and further iterated the fact that their daughter was doing to be the wife of such a person. Well, even if it was a long time coming, the parents were happy that it turned out to be someone with an amazing character.

"Well, that was an amazing first impression."

Brynhildr stated as she and Kensei returned to Midgard.

"Yeah, you're parents were such amazing people. It makes me realize partly the reason you turned out to be an amazing person."

Kensei replied, causing her to smile.

"Yeah, I'm blessed with great parents. The same could be said about you."

"Yeah, but your parents didn't try to murder each other the first time they met."

Kensei joked.

"Hahaha, I still can't believe you were being serious about that."

"Well, that's what happens when you mix two teenagers with competitive personalities that go together like fire and gasoline."

"Well, at least, they didn't kill each other, otherwise you wouldn't be standing here."

"Yeah."

Both laughed together, finding themselves standing in the middle of what seemed to be a location made of stone, with pillars engraved with runes surrounding it. Despite being so old, it still looked maintained without the faintest hint of being aged. Of course, it helped that it was made and enchanted to be almost unbreakable and enduring, no matter the kind of damage it took.

"Well, there is still one thing that we need to do before the marriage."

"Yeah."

After standing a fair distance from one another, there was a faint shine from them, before fading, revealing them to be dressed in their respective combat attire. Kensei wore the Kibou Alliance's agency uniform, while Brynhildr wore the Valkyrie armor. Both stood in front of one another wearing a confident smile on their face as their hands went to their silver and black sword.

"We'll settle that little promise of ours."

Brynhildr stated, with the memory of that promise entering her head.

'I, the Valkyrie Squad Captain, Brynhildr vow to give you a battle that you'll never forget.'

'And I, the Amagiri Clan Heir, Kensei Amagiri promise to show the might of his clan.'

That was the promise for the next battle that the two made a year prior after the Norse Exhibition Match between the Kibou Team and Valkyrie Squad. It was true that Kensei would have lost that battle at that time if they fought, but he wanted to test and see if the same could be said now.

"So, let's see where we stand."

Brynhildr asked, pointing her silver sword at Kensei.

"Yeah, let's do just that, Sigrún."

Kensei replied, pointing his black sword at Brynhildr.

Swift!

Both Kensei and Brynhildr vanished from that spot, with the first thing to be seen was sparks flying in the air, with their figures fading for a second. Soon enough, around the battlefield, several sparks could be seen from place to place on the training field. Appearing in the latest spot, their black and silver blades clashed against one another at high speeds which showed their technique and precision.

"…."

Brynhildr stared forward, swinging her silver sword at Kensei, who swung his sword back at an angle, causing its edge to slide across Kurogane's flat. After that he swung his black blade at Brynhildr's side, leading to the Chief Valkyrie turning herself around and avoiding the attack. Both smiled at the clash with her being the first to release an attack, a massive swirling spherical torrent of water.

"Hah."

In response, Kensei summed a swirling wind around Kurogane, increasing in power and leading to a clash of water and wind. He could sense the attack had much greater power than his initial attack, due to the higher level of activation speed and precision from Brynhildr's magic. But, that wasn't the sole reason, her magical sword could be imbued with that element, in almost two steps merged into one.

"Hah, that was a surprise, you're activating your powers much quicker than before."

"I learned a thing or two over the summer."

Kensei stated.

Among the Amagiri Clan, their members could potentially use all Five Elements, but some stuck to the ones that better fit them. Their founder, Itsuki Amagiri favored Fire, whereas Kensei favored Wind, Fire, and Metal, learning Water and Earth after learning Senjutsu, making him the exception. As explained before, after establishing a faint balance between the Five Elements, his activation speed for his powers improved, while making them easier to use in combat.

"Let's see about this!"

Brynhildr raised her sword again, channeling magic power into it.

He sensed the phenomena coming and prepared himself by holding Kurogane in a defensive position as water manifested around and started taking shape as a dome. Just before its full manifestation, from Brynhildr's sword swing, several explosions occurred around him. It didn't stop there, the explosions started spreading around it almost surrounding the area.

Break!

It led to the water dome breaking, with Kensei being at the epicenter of the explosion, leading to him defending himself by reinforcing himself with Haki. But, his uniform could be seen tanking the magic attack due to the innate resistance to things such as magic attacks, which continued to improve with the Wayland Family's funding. The collision of water and explosions led to them creating a smokescreen that spread around them.

"Well, that was a good move."

Kensei stated, coming out from the smoke.

"Thanks. Let's see if it continues from there."

Brynhildr stated, smiling as she raised her sword.

"You know, this sounds like flirting, but in combat."

A familiar, but unfamiliar voice caught their attention with Kensei and Brynhildr turned their attention to the source of that voice. It came from the same person that Kensei and his team fought against during the previous incident, sitting in the stands. Said person started walking down the steps, closer and closer to the duo, almost preparing for any possible assault or reaction from them.

"…?"

Brynhildr looked on with confusion.

"Wait, aren't you that, dude or the chick we fought last time? I don't mean to be rude, but the whole voice-changer and cloak makes it hard to tell?"

Kensei asked.

"Well, aren't you polite to someone who attacked you before?"

"Eh, I'm kinda desensitized to that. But, if you don't do something real serious, then I might turn into an asshole."

Kensei replied plainly, causing the person underneath the cloak to give a genuine laugh.

"Well, you certainly found an interesting one to pick Sigrún. I would say he's a little young for you, but let's face it, some of the men here…."

"…aren't much to talk about," Brynhildr finished, almost unable to believe who she was talking to at the moment. "Geiravör?"

"Well, it's sweet that you haven't forgotten your best friend."

At that, the woman removed the cloak, revealing a young woman close to Brynhildr in age and beauty.

Standing in front of them was a red-haired, red-eyed woman of transcendental beauty, adorned in black armor of close resemblance to that of a Valkyrie. Kensei looked on in surprise that the person was the same one he fought with before, more than that, it turned out to be Brynhildr's best friend.

"…," Brynhildr didn't know what to believe, in this instance, but there was one thing that came to mind as she was staring at the armor Geiravör adorned. "You're with 'them' then, I take it?"

"If 'them', you mean that kid intending on reviving a Primordial God to stir a rebellion in his faction, then yes."

Geiravör replied honestly to Brynhildr's question as she stared at her best friend and old partner.

"You know he intends on stirring chaos and already hurt several people in the process."

"I wasn't aware that the Valkyrie Squad's Chief Valkyrie is supposed to meddle in the business of another foreign faction. Well, I guess that the treaty between the Three Factions changed the minds of several higher officials of our home," Geiravör replied, waving her hand. "Well, not that I care about either of them. Or what the leader plans on doing in the end."

"Then, why join him?"

"Why don't you make me tell you?"

"You never change."

"Neither do you."

After that, Brynhildr and Geiravör seemed to have read one another's intentions, then enhanced themselves with magic before charging forward at each other. Instead of her silver sword, Brynhildr formed a magic sword made of magic and clashed with Geiravör's magic spear formed from her magic. Both their magic clashed, both locking eyes with one another as if trying to read one another.

"Why not use Thrungva?"

"I could ask the same question, why not use Mardöll?"

Both the former partners asked one another without a response.

Both their magic sword and spear continued clashing in almost a dance as if the two recalled their previous battles with one another. Despite changing the length of her spear at certain points, Brynhildr reacted to all of Geiravör's attacks without fail. Both continued moving at insane speed around the battlefield that was the training field beforehand.

"Ah, well, don't I feel like a third wheel."

Kensei stated as he stared at Brynhildr and Geiravör, despite this being a situation meant for the two of them to continue with their promised fight. But, now it turned into two friend's reunion and he was being left out of the equation. At that point, Kensei started feeling a sense of foreboding behind him, as something seemed to appear right behind him.

"Well, I asked for that."

Doooon!

Kensei was launched in the direction of the stands on the right, blocking the attack launched at him using Kurogane, and felt the weight behind him. It stopped him from hitting the stands using his flight abilities, looking to find a Mazoku standing there. He could see that the creature in front of him looked more feminine meaning that it was a female member of his clan.

"Alright, who are…?"

Flash!

Suddenly, the Mazoku vanished in a flash of light, then seemed to sail straight for him with her feet in front of him before he could finish talking. Kensei moved his body to the side, leading to the female Mazoku smashing right into the stands.

"Well, she's fast, impatient, and never lets you finish talking," Kensei stated, landing on the ground and seeming to recall her mannerisms from memory. "It is without a doubt Toki."

Toshiko Amagiri, among the Golden Generation, the same age as him, and someone who favored martial arts instead of being a weapon user. After that, he turned around to find the Mazoku Toshiko staring straight at him, before seeming to vanish again in a flash of light. Sensing her motion, he ducked down as she appeared aiming her kick straight at him, continuing to vanish from location to location, place to place, position to position. Kensei continued avoiding the attacks, the attacks aimed where near-misses and others managed to land the longer she acted.

"Silver Flash, a Space-Time Sacred Gear that lets the user teleport freely from location to location making it hard to predict their movement," Kensei thought as he managed to block an attack from the Mazoku Toshiko through Kurogane. "But, the Toshiko I knew was predictable and straightforward enough to make telling where she would be next a lot easier."

Slash!

He slashed his sword in another direction, being the location where the Mazoku Toshiko appeared managing to open a deep wound in her chest. But, once his sword was swung, the woman grabbed onto his wrist and then started teleporting with Kensei around the battlefield. He started losing his bearings due to how much she was warping around the location.

"Sorry, Toki."

Kensei said, pointing his finger at her, gathering and concentrating spirit power into his finger.

Bang!

He fired off a blast of spirit power into the Mazoku Toshiko's head, leading to her being knocked back toward the ground. As Kensei was floating in the air, placing his hand on his head and tried to recover from the dizziness he sustained from the continued warping.

"Ugh, this is why I have always hated fighting Toki during spars."

Kensei stated, finding himself healing his dizziness using Senjutsu.

Flash!

He noticed on the other battlefield, he noticed that full burst attacks were being released from both Brynhildr and Geiravör, causing a bright light that caught Kensei's attention. From what he could sense, it felt as if they were genuinely equals, but Brynhildr seemed to have an edge in experience. But, Geiravör was catching back up with her the more they fought.

"I can't get a read on Geiravör. All the people spoke highly of her and never doubted her character. She doesn't seem like the type to…," Kensei thought, but then noticed the Mazoku Toshiko got back up and stared up at him. "But, before that, I need to find a way to get Toki down. She's far too fast and teleports too much for me to release a proper technique. An incomplete Mazoku is durable and it looks as if that wound is closing, meaning that she's an example of a completed Mazoku. I could wear her down with continued attacks, but I would rather want to pin her down without wasting stamina."

Flash!

Mazoku Toshiko warped straight at Kensei without hesitation holding out her claws, and he raised Kurogane to block. She continued to warp from location to location, continuing to attack him as Kensei strengthened himself with Haki to keep up with the amount of time she was teleporting and attacking. After swinging Kurogane again, she teleported again to avoid it, shifting her position in front of him, and then kicking him in the face.

"…!"

Kensei felt the impact of that kick, wondering about what he was going to do against her.

"Silver Flash is stronger than a common Sacred Gear, the speed and rate that it lets them teleport is something that removes the limitation of Teleportation Magic. But, one of the important things about it is both perception and awareness to teleport around with this much freedom. However, it isn't support to be at this level, and the amount of stamina needed to do all this would be insane."

Kensei thought, wondering about what he would need to do in this situation against Toshiko and Silver Flash that was making counterattacking and capturing her impossible. He thought back to their previous conversation about Sacred Gear using Mazoku developing them in a unique direction due to the influence on their body and soul, the two links to the Sacred Gears, more so as their bodies adapted to them more.

"To release a technique and attack at the same time."

Kensei searched for different solutions to this problem, going over the things he had in his current arsenal, which included what he learned in Shiamano. During all this, Mazoku Toshiko didn't give him the chance to continue thinking, leading to him channeling spiritual power into Kurogane to continue attacking and countering her erratic and random warping attacks.

"Come on, think, it's not the right time to try and break them out of this. But, you'll get nowhere if you continue with being unable to hold them down like better than this."

Kensei continued thinking as Mazoku Toshiko, believing that he needed a solution for this situation as her speed at teleporting was continuing to increase. During this, he started feeling spiritual power being absorbed straight into Kurogane without his intention, surprising him for a moment. Just then, Mazoku Toshiko charged straight for him, as Kensei flew higher into the air.

"…alright, now is not the time for…."

As Kensei prepared to scold Kurogane for absorbing his spiritual power without his intention, but then stopped as he came up with some realization.

"Hm, Kurogane absorbed my powers, and then I channeled it through the blade. Normally, I channel the power, then the technique comes next. So, what if I did it so that I channeled the 'power' and the 'technique', then 'stored' it in Kurogane."

Kensei thought of that idea, with the concept being similar to what Kurogane as done before. Most of the time, Kurogane absorbed his powers and 'ate' them instead of releasing them after the fact. But, there was an issue with that idea.

"How can I pull that off? It is an idea that I haven't tested out before."

Kensei thought, that understanding the concept but making use of that in combat would be almost an impossible feat to pull off and a mistake could hurt.

"…," again, Kensei felt as if more of his spiritual power was absorbed by Kurogane, leading to him smirking. "Ah, alright, I'm not alone right now. But, if this fails, I'm cutting down on your meals."

After that, Kensei started to channel spiritual power and ki into Kurogane, deciding to work on the method that he just thought of. During that, Mazoku Toshiko continued to assault warping from location to location as he entered a defensive posture.

"You know, I know I said that he was better than most men. But, I can't believe the overly so serious Sigrún decided to hook up with someone the same age as our current generation of underclassmen. How shameless?"

"Huh? You're calling me shameless? How about the time 'someone' always talked about wanting a 'taste' of the young Heroes after becoming Brynhildr."

"Oh, that. I was joking. I didn't think anyone would take me seriously. I mean, come on, look at me, I could have done that if I wanted to," Geiravör replied pridefully, shrugging her shoulders as she smiled. "But, who knew Sigrún would have taken what I said to heart and end up doing it herself? So, how did he taste?"

"…!"

"…?"

At that, Geiravör looked to find Brynhildr's face turning bright red at that moment as she glanced to the side with a flustered expression as her friend burst out laughing.

"Hahahaha, it was 'that' good! I didn't think that anyone aside from me could get the oh-so-serious and punctual Sigrún to make a face like that."

"Shut up!"

Brynhildr shouted as she stared at Geiravör who continued laughing on end without stopping.

"Oh, hahahahaha, please that's priceless. It's been a long time since we last saw each other, so just let me have this moment!"

Geiravör continued laughing as Brynhildr felt as if she returned to a teenager, while interacting with her similarly to this, almost as if time rewound for them.

"Geiravör, you left from home after I became Brynhildr. No one from our generation has heard from you, nor did you make contact with anyone. It's almost as if you wanted to erase your presence from the Norse Pantheon," a calmer but more emotional tone could be heard from Brynhildr causing Geiravör to stop laughing. "No one here held the slightest doubt in you. So, why are you with these kinds of people?"

"…," Geiravör looked as if she was going to open her mouth, but paused for a moment as she sighed and then scratched her head. "What's the purpose of the Walkure and Valkyrie?"

"Our purpose is to create our unique magic, technique, and traditions, then pass it on to the next generation."

"Of course. But, your family lost yours through a curse from an old foe. And mine lost ours due to the actions of my parents. So, what could I pass down due to the loss of that longtime tradition? I pondered it and attempted it, but nothing worked out in the end. I fell into depression until I received an invitation to join this little organization."

Geiravör replied, with Brynhildr narrowing her eyes.

"If I wanted to create something of value then wouldn't I have more success if I acquired information from a group that had been gathering a greater amount of support and research in a shorter amount of time?"

"…are you serious about this? You hated your parents because that was the same thing they did. They targeted other people to succeed in their magic research and you're joining a group that's planning something worse."

"…I don't agree with anything they're doing. But, I don't have a lot of options."

Geiravör replied, sounding as if she was writing it off.

"…are you serious about this, Geiravör?"

"Oh, Sigrún, we've best friends for such a long time. So, have there ever been a time when I ever lied to you?"

Geiravör asked back, as Brynhildr didn't know what to think about what she was hearing about this.

"You know this is going to lead to us fighting against."

"I thought about that."

"You're going to become a criminal in the eyes of our home."

"I realize that too."

"You know as the Chief Valkyrie, I'll need to detain you."

"Sorry, but I can't let that happen, Sigrún."

Geiravör replied, getting back into a prepared position with Brynhildr doing the same thing.

Shine!

But, before either of them could move an inch, there was a light that caught their attention, leading to them noting Kensei holding Kurogane in his hand. During this, he suffered wounds from Mazoku Toshiko, while charging up and storing power in Kurogane, before creating the 'technique'. He focused on her teleporting from place to place around him, seeing as if she intended to finish him off before releasing that attack. Kensei was aware that he couldn't depend on his sense, instead leaving it to his pure instinct.

If it was before the summer break, then he would have had more trouble handling the onslaught of attacks. But, there was one secret aspect of the Amagiri-ryuu that made it what it was in the modern era, something that was learned in progression. And in Shiamano, he reached the 'second level', something that could classify one as an official Master among those who practice Amagiri-ryuu.

Just as Mazoku Toshiko appeared behind him, Kensei turned around and prepared Kurogane pointing it in that position and thrusting it forward.

"Tougen Amagiri-ryuu: Inazuma Tsukisasu!"

At the same time as Kensei called out its name, the technique was released as lightning was released from the blade of Kurogane. A lightning-fast thrust penetrated Mazoku Toshiko's reinforced body, releasing lightning that spread throughout her body, causing the hard exoskeleton to develop cracks.

"Hah, that was A LOT harder than I thought. But, it looked as if you saved your meals, Kurogane."

Kensei stated as Mazoku Toshiko started falling to the ground, with the wound in her stomach seeming to spread as the lightning did.

"Alright, let's take you back."

Kensei said, intending to use Telekinesis at full power to grab onto and detain Mazoku Toshiko.

But, then, he noticed a barrier around her body, keeping him from taking her back, coming from Geiravör, who teleported her towards herself.

"Sorry, but as I said before. I'm on a probationary period and letting this one of these kids get taken wouldn't look so good for me."

Geiravör replied as she seemed to place a soft hand on Mazoku Toshiko before putting her inside her shadow, keeping Kensei from retrieving her.

"That asshole can't keep me from getting them back."

Kensei stated, staring at Geiravör, whom he still couldn't understand.

"I don't doubt that, but it won't be on my watch," Geiravör replied, sounding neither arrogant nor conceited, before noticing something. "Well, I think that is the end of our reunion, Sigrún."

"Wait, Geiravör…!"

Brynhildr called, not wanting her to leave.

"Oh, by the way, Kensei," Geiravör called out as the shadow seemed to start encroaching around her body while catching his attention. "Be sure to look after Sigrún. She can be a real whiner when she thinks no one's looking."

Those were Geiravör's final words before leaving the training area, leaving Brynhildr to clench her first as her old friend left there without her able to do anything.

"Tch!"

"Sigrún…."

Doooon!

Just before Kensei could utter a word, a loud explosion could be heard as Mimir landed in the training room, as if he leaped from a large location.

"Ah, that Lass left, didn't she?!"

"Lord Mimir?! You knew she was here!"

"Aye."

Mimir replied, thinking back to what happened hours prior.

In Mimir's library, he was standing in his position at the front desk, there weren't people around this time, as most were doing other things. Plus, the Jötunn would start doing his regular activities in cleaning around this time and a lot of the people living in the Norse Faction were aware of that.

Just then, someone entered the library, surprising the old Jötunn, who glanced in their direction to find that there was Geiravör in her cloak standing at the entrance.

"…."

She stood there, glancing around to see what was around the library, being a long time since she last stood there, and seemed to sigh from nostalgia.

"Are you looking for some books, Lass?"

"I'm surprised you could tell I'm a woman."

"You think that cloak could fool these eyes? I'm not the wisest head around for nothing."

"And that tone never changes, no matter how much time has passed."

"Ah, and based on that you appear to know me, and that causal way of speakin' despite my status reminds me of someone," Mimir said as Geiravör entered the library and stood in front of the Jötunn, in a manner that reminded him of someone. "Ah, Geiravör how…."

"Sorry, Mimir, I need you to stay here for a little while."

"Huh, Lass?"

Just then Mimir sensed a magic being activated outside the library, a far distance from it while Geiravör activated one in the library.

"Hah, that little mischievous Lass got me with that one. A seal outside the library was carefully made, while a second seal was activated in the library to keep me from leaving while dulling my sight as much as she could. I guess she kept me from leaving here to meet with Sigrún and the Lad."

"Isn't it bad for her to attack Odin's uncle?"

"Ah, not really. I once dared that Lass if she could make a spell that can bound me she could take any book from the library. I told Odin about it, and Sigrún was there when I said it too."

"But, doing that, before coming here to meet me and Kensei here couldn't have been a simple coincidence."

"Well, I do read people much like the books I put in my library. So, if I was out, then it would've been troublesome for that Lass," Mimir stated, glancing at Brynhildr, who was mulling over what happened. "Sigrún, you know that you'll be reporting this to Odin and the other Gods, meaning the Lass will become labeled a fugitive."

"I know, as the Chief Valkyrie, I'll continue doing that duty without fail."

"But…."

"I want to trust the person I know, instead of what I heard and everything that happened here," Brynhildr replied, before placing her hand on her silver sword, Thrungva. "Also, I trust the promise that the two of us made with the weapons we hold."

"Ah, so she didn't use hers, huh?"

Mimir stated.

"So, the weapon Geiravör is similar to Sigrún's sword?"

"Aye, Lad. Sigrún and Geiravör similar to you and your group once fought against that irritating Niðhöggr when the lasses were Valkyrie-in-Training. Of course, neither of them were the ones who defeated him, but they lasted longer than one would expect. As a reward, they received weapons specially made by the best Dwarves, but the biggest treat was using parts of the World Tree that Evil Dragon gnawed off for the hilt and shaft of their weapons. In honor of the feat the two managed, the Vanir Chief God, Lady Freyja blessed them with two of the names she's also known for. Both Sigrún's Thrungva and Geiravör's Mardöll are tied together."

"After that, each time Geiravör and I fought, it felt as if we talked more than either of us could do before, but not uttering a single word. As if we could talk through sparring or fighting against each other."

Sigrún stated, making Kensei think of the similar connection that was between Shirogane and Kurogane. But, he hadn't talked to Amakuni about it, who hadn't returned to his residence, however, the connection between both of the swords almost didn't need an explanation.

"If the Lass didn't bring out use Mardöll then she wasn't serious about fighting Sigrún."

Mimir stated, wearing a stern look about what he was hearing.

"Well, let's think about this. Arata is someone who plays the part of a leader, but in the end, he uses people to his advantage. He doesn't care about anyone or anything. So, if he'd approached Geiravör, then that means there's something that she has that he wants."

"Ah, come on. So much stuff has happened and you kids don't need to hear me talking your ears off with what is going to come out of my mouth. So, let's go and find that Lad, Odin, and let them know what happened."

"Alright."

Brynhildr agreed, wearing a serious look different from the happy one that she had been wearing thus far.

"Ah, well, that asshole Arata just keeps interfering with my time with my women. I doubt that he knew about the connection between Sigrún and Geiravör. No, there are those rogue Dwarves that joined them, meaning they'd known about Geiravör. Hah, what kind of game is that asshole playing this time?"

After that, the three intended to have a meeting with Odin and other Asgard Gods about the situation that just happened right then and there.

A/N: And there goes the next chapter of DxD – The Last Amagiri, this is the second day of both Kensei's and Sigrún's date, and the Chief Valkyrie is served with breakfast before leaving to show him off. Of course, the first people to find out if the members of the Valkyrie Squad, who went through similar experiences without finding a lover. During this, the Sword Team without Kensei and Minako are looking into Diodora and aiding Ajuka in future events later. Kensei meets Sigrún's parents and learns about her past with her closest friend and partner, with her having an interesting meeting with her father.

After this, Kensei and Sigrún have their rematch with the intervention of the person revealed to be Geiravör, who is now a member of Yami, before fighting her old best friend. During this, he meets up with yet another Mazoku whose identity he discerned, Toshiko Amagiri by her Sacred Gear, Silver Flash, a Space-Time Sacred Gear that lets her teleport. He later discovered a second use of Kurogane and a second part of their Amagiri-ryuu, which would be explored later on.

So, this is going to be an interesting addition with Geiravör as a member of Yami, but Sigrún, of course, has not lost faith and hope for her best friend.
