We don't own Total Drama, only our OC's.
Revolting Raccoons: Lin, Lucille, David, Ilyria, Eddy, Byron, Brittany, and Dante
Oblivious Owls: Lila, Tracy, Brad, Dianne, Matthew, Mackenzie, and Tatiana
"Last time on Total Drama Canadian Travels," Chris began the famous recap.
"We traveled to the Northwest Territories, where we went to the Beaulieu Mine, and the two teams had to zipline into the cave to find fake gemstones that we hid," Alexis said.
"Brittany managed to convince Lucille that she had to win the game in order for her to get Joseph's attention back on her, and once again, Tatiana had some harsh words for the violinist and the mob boss," Chef rolled his eyes.
"Spikke unfortunately twisted his ankle, and the Oblivious Owls would lose the challenge; but due to a tie vote between Spikke and Lila, I decided that it was unworthy to do a tie-breaker challenge due to Spikke's injury; so he went home. We're down to 15, and things are only getting crazier than ever! Who'll be the next to leave? Find out, on this episode of…Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!" Chris announced gleefully.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind.
You asked me what I wanted to be
and now I think the answer is plain to see,
I wanna be famous.
I wanna live close to the sun,
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won,
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
I'll get there one day.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
(Whistling in tune)
Episode 13: Guess Who, Guess You
"Well, at least I can count on you to get me thinking." Brad said as he wrapped up his game with Lin, both teens with a warm smile on their faces.
"It certainly beats having to deal with these challenges and with the drama surrounding some of my team right now." The shorter girl replied.
"Um, if I may." Lila interjected. "Brad and I are involved in that drama by association with Tatiana. Lucille and Brittany are targeting us, after all. Are you sure that you won't be getting into any trouble with them, or even with Ilyria, if they see you with us?"
"Maybe. But I've dealt with Brittany before. She may have technically gone farther than me in the game, but we were already at the end anyway. I doubt she would ever take it that far, but if she ever decided to get physically aggressive with me, she's not a threat in the slightest. Neither is Lucille for that matter, but she's too nice to really fight like that. Ilyria's the only one that could really offer me a challenge in a fight since we're both in the same organization, but I'm not sure she had the same training I went through." Lin explained. "All in all, I'm not worried about what they might say or do. I like you two, and I'm not going to stop associating with you just because other people aren't happy with that."
"I'm ever-so happy to hear that! I know we haven't really talked much before now but, I hope we can consider each other friends after this."
"Hey, if Terra can get me to like her with how she acts, I think you'll be okay. It's getting pretty late though, I'll see both of you tomorrow."
"Of course. Same time?" Brad asked.
"Same place." Lin nodded. "Or, at least in the lobby of whatever hotel we end up at next."
The two geniuses shared a warm smile with each other before going their separate ways, with Lila at Brad's side with a wide grin.
"You like her, don't you?"
"Well, I would certainly be lying if I said I didn't find her and her intelligence attractive."
"Tell her!" Lila giggled, playfully punching her friend in the arm. Brad's slight smile faded as a more grim look took over his face.
"She's already dealing with two teammates that can't stand us and another that's her coworker. Getting into a relationship with her might make things worse for her, I don't want to put her through that kind of stress."
"That's ever-so sweet!" Lila said, gently pinching Brad's cheek. "You two will find a way, I know it! We should probably head to bed though, goodnight!"
"Yeah, until tomorrow."
The next morning…
"Good morning, contestants! We are gonna head over to Halifax, Nova Scotia for our next challenge, so get prepared, because it's gonna be a big one! McLean out!"
"Halifax, huh?" Ilyria let out, looking at Lin. "I wonder what the challenge is going to involve."
"Who even knows." Lin yawned, rubbing one of her eyes. "I think we should know by now that Chris could have us do anything."
"That's very true," Ilyria nodded. "It should be challenging, and fun as well."
"I don't exactly think 'fun' is the word I'd use for these challenges…" David interjected.
"But what do you think it'll involve today?" Lucille asked.
"Probably something involving Canada, like most of these challenges," Brittany retorted.
"I mean, this show is called Total Drama CANADIAN Travels." Eddy huffed. "Of course it'll involve Canada, but is it gonna be about the country's history or people? Guess we'll see."
The Owls got adjusted into their seats for the ride with the siblings sitting with Dianne on one side of the aisle with Lila, Tracy and Tatiana sitting on the other side.
After a two hour and 12 minute flight, with an hour and 18 minute layover in Edmonton; both teams would settle in for a 4 hour and 43 minute flight to get to Halifax.
Ilyria yawned. "Finally, I can't believe we made it."
"Well, it's perfect to start the challenge!" Chris grinned.
"Uh, no. It's past midnight. Let them get sleep, or I will unleash my wrath," Alexis hissed.
"Are you serious?" Chris groaned.
"I am," Alexis replied. "Come on everyone, let's head to the hotel."
"Yeah, there's no way I'm doing anything until I get some sleep and get at least one smoke in." Charlene hissed.
"You guys suck," Chris groaned. "But fine. Let's go."
The group would head over to the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel, and Alexis would check them all in, and get the room keys.
"Okay, let me announce the room pairings. Lila and Mackenzie, you're in one room. Brad and Matthew, you're in another room. Dianne, Tracy, and Tatiana, you're in the third room. Room 4: Lin and Lucille. Room 5: David and Dante. Room 6: Eddy and Byron. Room 7: Ilyria and Brittany."
"You've got to be kidding me," Brittany groaned.
"Tell me about it," Ilyria sighed.
"No switching room partners," Chris grinned wickedly.
Lucille glanced at Lin, smiling a little. "This should be nice, right, Lin? We're roommates!"
"Sounds alright, I suppose."
Byron grinned at Eddy, who looked ready to fall asleep any moment now. "Come on man, let's go and get some sleep."
Ilyria and Brittany would be giving one another a harsh glare.
Mackenzie yawned. "I can't wait to get some sleep," the female YouTuber let out.
"Yeah." Lila nodded, rubbing her tired eyes. "Long flights can be ever-so exhausting…"
"Oh, I'm ever-so tired of that wording," Brittany grumbled.
"Look, let's just head to bed. I'm sure everyone will be in a better mood tomorrow." Tracy remarked, grabbing Tatiana and Dianne by their wrists and gently pulling them towards the elevator to their room.
"Agreed," Dianne yawned. She glanced over at Eddy, and blew him a kiss before heading off to her room.
The group would head to their rooms. Lucille would be unpacking her pajamas, and glanced at Lin. "I'm going to bed. How about you?"
"I actually have something I need to take care of. Don't wait up for me." The shorter girl replied.
Lucille raised an eyebrow at this. "Um…okay? But didn't you want to sleep? Knowing Chris, he might want to get us up early for the challenge."
"I'm used to early mornings." Lin shrugged before leaving the room.
Lucille raised another eyebrow, and thought to tell Ilyria about it in the morning. Right now, sleep was calling her name, and she needed it.
The next morning…
Lucille would wake up and rub her eyes, before getting dressed.
"Good morning contestants! Meet us in the dining hall for breakfast, and the details of today's challenge! McLean out!"
Lucille would get dressed, and would head down to the lobby, where Chris was grinning like a maniac. "Eat quickly, because you'll have to work with your team to guess some people who will be disguised! I'll tell you all the whole deal after breakfast, which you have… ten minutes to finish."
"This should be interesting…" Brittany yawned, as she would pour herself a bowl of cereal. As she sat down next to Lucille and Ilyria, she and Lucille seemed to share a look of concern and suspicion when they noticed Lin sitting with the three redheads rather than her own team.
"Lucille, what's going on?" Ilyria asked.
"I have no idea…Lin came to bed very late last night…but I don't know why…"
"She could be going for a run." Brittany said.
"Maybe?" Lucille shrugged.
"I'd better ask," Ilyria said, standing up, and approaching the table. "Lin." Her voice was calm.
The four teens looked at the spy with varying emotions, with Brad and Tatiana looking on guard while Lila wasn't sure how to feel about Ilyria. Lin seemed to be the only one at ease as she greeted Ilyria with a casual. "Hey."
"Why are you sitting with these three? They're not on our team."
"Does it really matter who I sit with?"
"When the teams are still involved, it does," Ilyria replied. "Please, tell me."
"I'm just sitting with my friends, relax." Lin shrugged.
"Fine," Ilyria sighed. "Fine by me." She would head back to the table.
"All good?" Brittany asked.
"Yeah, she's just with other friends," the spy replied.
10 minutes passed, and Chris blew an air horn. "Okay, people! Breakfast time is over!"
Brittany grumbled at this, as she tossed her second apple core into the green bin. "Let's just get this challenge over with."
"Alright." Chris began. "The challenge itself is fairly simple; we've brought in several people, ranging from former contestants from this season, to alumni from last season, to some other guests and gotten them to disguise themselves. What you all need to do is correctly identify who the person is. They're not allowed to speak, so you won't be able to figure out who they are by voice just to make it harder for you."
"The team who gets 8 points first wins," Alexis said. "So, with that: let's bring out the first person."
A person would soon walk in, wearing a mask, and a straightjacket. They would have short, purple hair, and had a feminine appearance, and Byron groaned immediately. "Sierra."
"That's correct!" Chris announced. "Take her back to the mental asylum."
"Wait!" Sierra called out. "I need to see my Cody! Is he here? I bet he's here!"
"He's not here, cuz," Byron deadpanned. "At all."
"COOODDDDYYYY!" Sierra screamed, as she was dragged out of the room.
"Raccoons, you get a point!" Chris grinned.
"Thank you Jesus," Brittany let out.
"Next person!" Chris shouted. "Come on out!"
The next person appeared to be another woman. She had a bronze skin tone and she wore a long white gown and white sun hat that covered a good portion of her face and almost completely covered her hair, with the only bit creeping out at the sides, revealing it to be a dark purple color.
"Wait a moment, it's Shauna!" Dianne let out. "I recognize that purple hair anywhere!"
"Aww, you got me!" The dancer giggled, removing her hat and showing that her hair was done up into an exquisite looking bun and that she had purple eyeshadow. "I gotta say though, I love this dress! Trish is a magician when it comes to fashion!"
"And the Owls get a point, it's tied up!" Chris announced. "Next person!"
The next person would be a man, and he wore all black, with a full face mask, revealing his ocean blue eyes.
"Miguel," Ilyria instantly replied.
"Correct!" Chris announced. "That's 2 points for the Raccoons!"
The next person would walk in, wearing an all pink dress, with long white gloves, and a full mask, with her auburn hair tied up into a very tight bun.
"I have no idea…" Dianne let out, squinting as she looked at the figure.
"I do, thankfully." Dante smiled. "It's Abigail, I know her when I see her."
"That's correct," Chris let out.
Abigail smiled as she removed her mask. "Hello, my love. I've missed you so much."
"Enough sappy love," Chris pretended to gag. "Next!"
Abigail blew Dante a kiss before she left the room, making sure to glare at the host before leaving. The next guest appeared to be a tall man with tanned skin. He wore a football helmet and a red uniform with matching red and white pants. Both David and Lucille looked at the man carefully.
"Do you think it's him?" Lucille glanced at David. "I don't want to get it wrong…"
"I think it is?" David replied. "I don't remember anyone else looking like that off the top of my head, but something feels… I don't know, off…"
Lucille kept looking for some other sign to see if it was Joseph while the Owls kept looking at her.
"Tick tock…" Chris said impatiently. "If nobody guesses then we'll just have to skip to the next person."
"Okay, I think this has to be related to Joseph…" Lucille let out.
"It can't be one of his brothers. I know his brothers have all gone through a growth spurt but they're still not that tall yet." David hummed.
"Oh, I think I know! It's Joseph's cousin, Derek! I remember him from the family gathering!" Lucille let out.
"Well whoop-dee-doo, you got it, Princess." The man said, removing the helmet and revealing himself. He looked faintly similar to Joseph, but his hair was cut shorter and he looked a tad bit less muscular. "But pretty soon it'll be 'Tribal Chief Derek' to you!"
Lucille glared at him. "Joseph's the only one who can call me that."
"Oh, he's called you that?" Derek asked, raising his eyebrow with a smirk.
"Um, yeah, when we were in private," Lucille crossed her arms.
"Pfft! Hahaha! No wonder the elders are considering me for this position! He's not the type to call anyone that seriously! Still, I suppose I should be thanking you, if it weren't for you two being so lovey-dovey with each other, I wouldn't have this chance. Still, I can't believe I have to compete with his youngest brother for the title…"
"How dare you." Lucille glared. "Even if Joseph and I are dating, he's still much stronger than you. You're more like a monkey compared to him being a big, strong bear."
"Wait, Isaiah's next in line? Not the twins?" David asked.
"They chickened out." Derek shrugged. "But hey, it's no skin off my nose! That title and ula fala is mine!"
"Joseph will win it. I know him," Lucille said. "He won't give up against a monkey like you."
"Whatever you say, Princess! Whatever you say!" The man cackled as he left the stage.
Lucille growled. "That man is so dead…"
"Who knew you could get angry?" Brittany smirked.
"I actually hate Derek…he was so annoying…" Lucille groaned.
"Yeah, Derek is… a confident guy, to say the least."
"He does seem like a monkey," Brittany snickered.
"Yeah. He does."
"We keep hearing about this whole 'Tribal Chief' issue." Eddy noted. "You're part of the family, ain't ya'? Why don't you try to get that title?"
"Well, I can't, even though I'm dating Joseph. It only goes to men. The 'Tribal Chief' then gets to pick the person to be his partner, and 'Tribal Chieftess' afterwards," Lucille let out, remembering what Joseph had told her about the ceremony. "It's very traditional."
"I think he was talking to me…" David replied. "Even then, I can't exactly do that either. Outside of the fact that I'm here on this show right now. My family isn't exactly on the best terms with the elders right now… The Samoan side comes from my dad and he's trying to get back into the family's good graces after my mom insulted the elders. She has a bit of a fiery temper, but I was never expecting them to basically excommunicate us. Like I said, my dad has been trying to patch things up but things are still pretty frosty."
"Oh damn," Brittany let out. "Honestly, I want Joseph to get that 'Tribal Chief' position even more. The more I think of that Derek person, the more I think he's gonna ruin things for the family."
"While I do adore this family drama, we still have a show to do. NEXT!" Chris called out.
"Do you really have to shout?!" Charlene hissed, tapping her foot impatiently as she looked a tad bit pale. "We can all hear you!"
The next person would be a tan Spaniard, with a goatee, and wearing a black mask, with a musketeer outfit.
"It's pretty obvious that that's Alejandro." Tatiana said. "I'm surprised you didn't cover your face."
"And deprive the world of this million-dollar smile? Not a chance!" The former contestant huffed before smiling at the camera.
"Give me a break," Brittany grumbled. "You're not hot."
"Eh, I'd beg to differ." Brad laughed. "In fact, he used to be several thousand degrees."
"I mean, it was satisfying seeing you fall into that volcano, after Heather beat you," Brittany smirked wickedly.
The former winner could only grumble in frustration before leaving the stage in a huff.
"Okay, who's next?" Chris asked. "You really have a lot of catching up to do, Owls."
"Don't remind us…" Tracy sighed.
The next person on stage was a large man wearing what appeared to be a navy uniform with several patches and badges on it, his eyes were firm and unflinching though most of his face was covered by a medical mask.
"Hmm." The country girl hummed. "This one is another tricky one…"
"From the looks of him, I'd say this is Walter." Tatiana replied.
"That's correct." The soldier affirmed, removing his mask. "I'm impressed, how did you know it was me so quickly?"
"After I saw you and Joseph during your mini challenge last week, I kind of figured it would be difficult to forget what you two look like. You two are the biggest contestants this show has seen in the past few seasons, after all."
"Okay, Owls, you now have 3 points, compared to the Raccoons 4 points. Can you tie it up again? Who's next?" Chris asked.
A woman soon came on stage, in a full mask and costume, like an Aztec queen of sorts. The costume consisted of a dress consisting of red, white and green feathers flowing down and showcasing her figure while also having sleeves with frills of the same colors. The mask covered the woman's eyes only and was completely bright yellow. Her hair was a chocolate brown color but was done in a hive style with move colored feathers adorning it.
"Oh, wait a minute, this has to be Trish's sister! What was her name… uh… Maria!" Dianne let out. "I hope…"
"Wow, I was barely on the show last season. I'm surprised you remember." Maria laughed, removing her mask.
"I binged the aftermath shows, a lot," Dianne blushed.
"And both teams are tied up again!" Chris announced.
The next person was in a full costume from head to toe. The costume consisted of fair skin with big ears and big, blue eyes, as well as only one tooth in his mouth, and a tuft of curly, blond hair. He wore a yellow onesie with blue stripes, a matching bonnet, and a bib that says, "Baby's First Show!" The sight of the costume made nearly everyone burst out laughing.
"Who on earth would wear something ridiculous like this?" Brittany laughed.
"The only person I can think of is…Demetrius," Matthew let out.
"I hate you all," the criminal took off the big mask, glaring at them. "And I especially hate that clown for making me wear this! Oh, when I see her I'll tear her apart!"
"You look absolutely ridiculous," Brittany laughed.
"Go eat sand," Demetrius growled.
"It's 5-4, in the Owls favor! Okay, who is next?" Chris laughed, as the former criminal stomped off the stage.
The next person on stage certainly turned a few heads as she appeared to be the most normal looking when compared to all of the costumes seen thus far. It was a woman wearing a blue denim jacket over a long sleeve tan shirt with black jeans and a white belt with white boots. She walked with perfect poise and a sashay of her hips that made her appear as a model. Her hair was a silky smooth looking light brown that draped down to her back. Her sky blue eyes almost seemed to complete her look as she stood proudly in front of the contestants.
Dianne blinked. "Uh…."
"Who the heck is this person?" Matthew asked. "Wasn't there someone who had rainbow hair?"
"Yeah, Terra has her hair that way but this couldn't possibly be her. This girl looks too normal. She's too pretty to be Terra."
"Didn't she have towels over her head?" Dianne asked, looking at Lin.
"Bandages." Lin corrected. "But… this couldn't possibly be what she was trying to keep secret."
"I bet Chris just brought in some random girl off the street." Eddy remarked.
"Nope!" Chris replied. "This girl is, in fact, a former contestant."
"It can't be her…can it?" Ilyria asked.
"I think it is." Lin replied. "Terra, is that you?"
"You bet your sweet bippy it is, Lin Lin!" The girl said, revealing herself as she hopped off the stage and walked over to her friends.
"What the hell did you do to your hair?" Brittany nearly shouted. "Scratch that, what are you even doing here?"
"I decided to let it go back to its natural color. As for why I'm here, I'm just goofin'." Terra explained, showing off her new boots. "New boot goofin'."
"Mother of mercy…" Brittany grumbled.
"What, you don't like it?" The clown asked.
"Like it?" David asked. "Honey, you look gorgeous!"
"Yeah, you do," Byron replied. "I mean, if I wasn't gay, then I'd date you. But sadly, I'm gay, and taken by a handsome photographer."
"We're tied yet again!" Chris announced. "Terra, a certain someone wants to pound you into sand for the ridiculous costume you made him wear."
"Does he now? Well, he hasn't seen me as I am right now, so I can only imagine the surprise he'll get when he sees me." Terra giggled.
The next person would come on stage, wearing a black Darth Vader costume.
"For heavens sake…" Brittany grumbled.
"Adam…" All of the Owls called out.
"You've got it!" The red haired boy took off the Darth Vader mask, grinning like an idiot.
The next person came out, wearing a 'Phantom of the Opera' costume, and he looked really handsome. Dianne gasped. "Bill!"
"Correct!" Chris announced, as the man removed his mask.
"Hey, sis," Bill smiled.
"Wait, why are you here?" Dianne was confused.
Bill glanced at Chris. "Should I tell her?"
"Tell me what?" Dianne was more confused. "What's going on?"
"Chris actually hired me as the aftermath host," Bill revealed.
"No way!" Dianne squealed, hugging her brother. "That's amazing!"
"I thought Maria was the main host," Lucille let out, glancing at Chris.
"She was, but she had a contract with this fashion company that I couldn't get her out of." The host shrugged, a bit peeved at the fact. "Apparently she's finished with her contract and has more free time if she wants to come on, but I have no control over what she may want to do."
"And that's where I came in!" Bill smiled.
"Well, it's 7-5, in the Owls favor! If they get this next one, they win!" Chris announced.
Two people actually came onstage, one dressed up like a knight, and the other dressed up like an exotic dancer, though she also had a raven's mask that covered her eyes. There would also be a black veil covering the mask and the face of the woman.
"Hold on, there's only one person who wears that black veil…" Mackenzie let out.
"The knight looks magical too, don't you think sis?" Matthew asked.
"Yup, and I think I know who these two are. It's Christopher, and the girl in the black veil is his sister, aka, teen pop sensation, Countess Contessa."
"And that is correct! The Owls win it!" Chris announced.
"We won!" Dianne cheered, glancing at her team.
"This stinks," Brittany grumbled.
"And as a twist…Raccoons, you're not voting. The Owls will be choosing the loser, right here, and right now!"
"Bloody f*cking hell." Ilyria swore.
Dianne would gather with the team. "I can't believe we're actually doing this right now. So…who should go?"
"If I may." Lila piped up. "I think it would be good to vote out Brittany."
"Yeah, no way, Lie-la," Mackenzie scowled. "She's one of the strongest girls around."
"All the more reason to get rid of her now." Brad added.
"I dunno…I'm kinda feeling that we should take out Eddy," Matthew admitted. "He's a wildcard, and who knows what he'll be able to pull if he remains in the competition."
"Seriously?" Tatiana asked, raising an eyebrow. "Compared to Brittany he's really not that much of a threat."
"Let's keep Brittany. If we can wait to get her out until closer to the finale, it might be better," Matthew insisted. "Besides, she's a mob boss. You don't want to anger a mob boss."
"I think Matthew's right," Dianne let out. "While I'll be sad to say goodbye to Eddy, it won't be forever."
"You'd rather vote out your boyfriend than one of the biggest threats in the game?!" Tatiana asked, her eye twitching in frustration. "That's it, I'm done here!"
"I'm with her." Brad added, shaking his head. "You all know she made it to the end last time, voting for her now, while we have the chance is the smartest move!"
"Owls, have you decided?" Chris tapped his foot impatiently.
"We have, and we've chosen to eliminate Eddy," Mackenzie replied. "It was either him, or Brittany, and we chose Eddy."
"I'm so sorry, Eddy," Dianne let out sadly.
"What, no way!" The shorter boy yelped. "How'd you decide the vote?!"
"Eddy, your time is up," Chris said. "Please, take a moment to say your goodbyes, pack your things, and head to the Bus of Losers."
The shorter boy was silent as he simply rubbed his temples in frustration.
"I'm really sorry," Dianne approached him. "I hope you can forgive me."
"I just want to know why! Why pick me over Brittany?! You said she was the other option, right?!"
"Only Brad, Tatiana and Lila wanted to vote her out, but the rest of us disagreed," Dianne let out.
"Ok but WHY?!"
Dianne sighed. "It's not forever, Eddy. We'll see each other again."
"Whatever…" Eddy groaned as he walked onto the Bus.
"Hey, you didn't pack your things!" Chris shouted. Though Chef seemed more than happy to put his bags on the bus with the band helping him out while Eddy simply sulked on the bus.
Dianne sighed as she looked down.
"Honestly, what were you expecting?" Tatiana asked as she shook her head.
"I, um, have to agree." Lila added. "He's most likely feeling ever-so angry that you voted for him. He trusted you…"
"And you're all dismissed," Chris said. "Go do whatever you teens do."
Dianne and Tracy
The young woman sighed as she sat on her bed in the hotel room, trying not to cry. "I messed up. Badly."
"Hey, you'll be okay." Tracy said. "I'm sure he just needs a bit of time to cool off."
"Do you really think so?" Dianne asked. "It seemed like he really hates me…"
"I don't think he hates you at all! I think he's just upset like a lot of people are when they lose in this game."
"I still feel bad though," Dianne huffed.
"I'm not going to lie, I'm wondering if we made the right choice. But at the same time, I know we can't change the things we did in the past. My dad always said we have to accept it, and learn from it so we don't end up making the same mistake twice."
"Now we might be targeted by Brad, Tatiana, and Lila…" Dianne huffed again.
"Maybe." Tracy said, laying down on her bed and looking up at the ceiling. "But… the three of them have been more or less alright to me. Hopefully I can talk them out of targeting us."
"I hope so." Dianne sighed.
Brad, Lila, and Lin
The three would be in the lobby, playing their usual game of chess. After moving her bishop, Lin finally spoke up.
"I have to say, I was expecting you guys to vote for Brittany. What made you pick Eddy?"
"We didn't." Brad replied with a heavy sigh. "The three of us wanted her gone but the rest of our team decided to pick Eddy for whatever reason."
"I thought Tatiana wanted her to suffer a bit more before getting rid of her?" Lin asked.
"She does, but that's only because she wants to get into her head while the teams are still around. Lucille, too, to some extent, but our attention is mostly on Brittany." Brad explained as he moved one of his knights.
"Well, she'll be sticking around for longer than you guys want now, and something tells me she'll be around for a while." Lin remarked.
"Guess this means you'll have to deal with her being annoyed by your speech pattern, Lila." Brad said, chuckling to himself a bit before noticing Lila's silence. "Lila?"
The two turned to see the aforementioned contestant staring at a locket in her hands, or rather, the photo within the locket.
"Hm? Oh! I'm sorry, I was just checking up on something. Maybe I should go get some sleep, I'll see both of you in the morning."
"Is she feeling alright?" Lin asked.
"I hope so, but I think you're as aware as I am that she's keeping something to herself. Whatever that is, she doesn't feel ready to share it yet."
"I see. Well, if she ever feels ready to talk about it, we're here. Tatiana as well, and I assume she's still friends with that girl, Tracy."
"Yeah." Brad nodded. "Tracy's a nice girl. I question her choice of voting off Eddy, but she hasn't had any issue with the three of us. But, honestly, I'd rather not think of the game right now. I was hoping for these games of chess to be our way of unwinding after a rough day."
"Yeah, they most certainly are." Lin smiled.
Chris grinned as he sat in a room filled with different cameras.
"Well, what an interesting day! We're now down to 14, and things surely are getting intense, as we are near the halfway point! Who'll leave in 14th place? Find out, on the next incredible episode of…Total! Drama! CANADIAN TRAVELS!"

LaViolaViolaRosa: This certainly was an interesting chapter, if I do have to say so myself. I can't believe we're near the halfway mark! With 14 contestants left, the competition is getting stiffer, and more intense.
Allureon: Once we get to the merge, things will only start getting hotter! We're cooking with fire now!
