Guys I am so sorry I didn't realize that the chapter uploaded like that hopefully this is a lot better. Let me know if this is easier to read. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Riven was sitting in Kate's office getting his ass chewed out by his agent for his actions during Musa's studio session. A day had passed since the whole 'cheating' fiasco went down and the music video had been released. "What the hell were you thinking Riv?" the blonde woman asked. "Why didn't you just call me?" said Kate as she perched herself on the edge of her mahogany desk in her office. "I did." Riven said simply which to his defense was true he did in fact did call his agent before he made an ass out of himself; he also missed the three return calls from his agent that could've prevented this catastrophe.
"Come on Riven, we have to do better than that. Musa's agent really ripped me a new one." Kate groaned as she massaged the temples of her head. Ari had given Kate a call and told her that if her client couldn't control himself, she and her musical client Musa would have no choice but to break their legally binding contract. "Look I thought I was being played." Riven said trying once again not to lose his temper. "They were saying that they hadn't seen me and little Miss pop princess together in months and that Musa and Jarred were the new IT couple. I lost it ok?" he explained.
"Who cares what they say?!" Kate spoke exaggeratedly moving her hands around. "You guys are together for the next few months regardless of what any talk show host saysss…were you…. jealous?" Kate asked as the thought interrupted her already formed sentence. The young man scoffed in response "Pfft no." what did he have to be jealous about? "I know but, I didn't think you would even care if Musa was spotted out with another man, it's actually making sense now why you barged in on Musa and Jarred, you were jealous." Kate said teasingly. She knew this would get under her client's skin just a bit, she always played around with the grumpy fighter trying to lighten up his sourpuss personality.
"I'm not jealous! I told you, they were saying they hadn't seen us in a while and….."
– "It's fine I sent over a bouquet of roses with an apology card to Musa at the studio on your behalf so one crisis avoided but, you're right, they haven't seen you guys together in a while and that's why Ari and I have scheduled a few dates for our hot young couple." Kate said matter of factly interrupting Riven. "So tonight, you'll be joining Musa at Stella Solaria's birthday party as her loving boyfriend." Kate said she picked up her iPad and showed the violet eyed fighter his new schedule for the month. The schedule consisted of different dates from dinners, and basketball games to events that they would be making a public appearance. Riven groaned at his new schedule, everything was much easier when Musa was out of town, he wouldn't have to be subjected to being around such a fake persona and all the idiots who believed in it.
"Don't be such a drag, Brandon and Nabu will be there." The blonde agent said showing Riven the confirmed guest list. Riven couldn't believe some of the names that were on this list. It was basically a who's who of the world's elites not just Hollywood.
Timothy Evans, the creator the world's largest and most successful rideshare app was supposed to be in attendance. Along with Flora Chatto the heir to Chatto coffee fortune. There was even royalty on the guest list, Prince Sky who was 15th in line for the royal thrown was named as one of the guests. Riven had met Prince Sky a few years back through Brandon who had met the royal through college as roommates. It was the first time the young prince was on his own in a new country just experiencing life as a regular student. The prince withheld his tittle from Brandon, wanting to be treated as equally as anyone else. He and Brandon had formed a strong brotherly bond and when the prince finally told Brandon who he really was, the brunette was shocked but excited stating that 'Getting girls would be a lot easier now that he had a prince as a wingman.' The two had been the best of friends ever since. When Brandon had introduced Riven to the prince, they didn't quite get along but after a few tries the fighter and the prince had actually began to form a friendship, a competitive one but a friendship none the less.
Every year that Brandon had been dating Stella Riven has always been invited to her birthday but as a plus one but, this year was different his name was on the list as a main guest amongst some of the biggest names around the world. This would be great opportunity for him if it all went right. Maybe tonight wouldn't be such a bust after all. "Musa will most likely arrive before you so you don't need to worry about picking her up, but you will need to be seen leaving with her." Kate started. "This is a private event so there wont be any up close media coverage just speculation and paparazzi so please try and look a bit happy when you see them." Kate said. Riven was known to really hate the paparazzi whenever they were around, he was always captured with a scowl on his face in every picture they took. It wasn't Riven's fault though, he really just hated to be photographed and yelled at by random men and women. "Fine…" That was the only response the fighting champion had given his agent as she went on more about his new schedule.
Musa was in her hotel suite getting ready for Stella's big party. The songstress hadn't really had any down time in the past few weeks and was itching to let off some steam and let loose. What better place to do that than at one of biggest parties in Hollywood? The blonde fashion designer was a socialite and was known to throw extravagant parties and if you had been lucky enough to be invited you were guaranteed to have the time of your life. That's just exactly what Musa was looking for. She had been so stressed lately; working on her second solo album she wanted to be more transparent with her audience allowing them to truly get to know who she was instead of the overrated diva the media and some others had tried to portray her as. The Grammy nominated singer and her team came up with a split album concept, 1 album but two very different sounds. One half of the album would be softer, vulnerable, and revealing. More personal as Musa did most of the songwriting for that part of the album. The other half would be the exact opposite; It would be loud and flashy, embodying every harsh, rude rumor or opinion she had heard about herself. If they thought she was a diva Musa was going to give them a diva. 12 songs evenly split, from a diva to a broken hearted girl would come together and create her second album. If only she could finalize track list.
But tonight wasn't about her or her album it was about her best friend making it another year around the sun!, as Stella would say. Tonight, Musa would drink, dance, and have fun. Ari had informed her that both Musa and Riven would be at the party and this would be the first in a string of couple sightings that would be happening within the next few months. This would be their first appearance as a couple. Musa was told to play nice as Riven was promised to be on his best behavior. 'Play nice' Musa thought as she recalled the events that had played out yesterday, it was easily one of the most embarrassing things to happen to her in her professional career. Musa looked over to the roses she had placed on the nightstand by her bed at the hotel suit. 'Sorry!' she read over the card that came with the apology flowers she thought Riven sent.
Ok she would be nice.
Riven had been at the party for about 45 minutes and had actually been enjoying his time. A small part because he had not seen Musa yet but mainly because his friends Brandon, Nabu, and Helia were all there, they had even introduced him to the genius rideshare app creator Timothy Evans who Riven learned liked to be called Timmy instead. It had been a while since they all hung out, Riven didn't know he had actually missed hanging with them. He had been so busy training for his big fight he didn't have the time to chill and hang out but now that he won the title his schedule had lightened up a bit. They were all catching up with one another talking about their careers and relationships, when Brandon asked.
"So Riv, how things going with Musa and why didn't you tell me bro?"
"Yeah, Riven when are you gonna introduce us to her, my girl is a huge fan of hers." Nabu said referring to his girlfriend Layla. Just a few moments later Layla appeared right by Nabu's side as she joined the group of friends. It was true Layla was a huge fan of Musa's and would love to work on a song with her but was too shy to ever bring it up to anyone on Musa's team. "We agreed to keep things quiet for a while." Riven said then took a sip of his beer. "C'mon bro you gotta tell me how you managed to get her. Musa does not like anyone, trust me I know, me and Stella have tried to set her up a few times and she always shoots them down." Brandon said as he recalled all the times he and his girlfriend tried to set Musa up on dates and all the times she heavily declined. "….. you guys have been dating longer than we know huh, were you the reason behind her saying no to being set up?" Brandon questioned slyly. It had made so much sense to the brunette fighter now, all those times his friends were secretly seeing each other.
"You guys sure know how to keep a secret." Timmy said loosening up a bit as he drank. Oh they had no idea how secretive the fighter and the singer were, no idea at all. "Speaking of where is she? You guys didn't come together?" The photographer Helia asked. Before Riven could answer his friend there she was.
She was talking to Stella and a redhead he had never seen before. They were laughing about something and it just looked like the sun was shining on them. They all looked beautiful, but it was something about Musa that Riven found absolutely alluring. He thought she was gorgeous….. wait, no he didn't he hated her. Yeah, that was better he hated her, he hated her deep blue eyes and the sexy smoky eye makeup she was wearing. He hated her perfectly pouty lips and the red lipstick she was wearing. He hated the red satin bodycon dress she was wearing and the way it hugged every curve on her body just right. And the stupid high heels she was wearing that made her silky smooth legs look oh so tempting. He hated those tempting legs as the began to walk towards him, with each step her hair bounced from side to side. He hated it. He hated her hair and the way it flowed freely down to her waist, and the way that it carried her scent.
It was like she was moving in slow motion towards Riven. With each step she took he began to have that annoying feeling again, the calmness as if they were the only two people in the world. The only peace in a world of chaos. He was slowly beginning to smell her….vanilla. He hated it all and was ready to walk away from her but his feet made no efforts to move. The fighter had gotten that feeling in his stomach again as she stopped in front of him, but he knew this feeling wasn't hunger like he had thought before because he had just eaten. Then what could that feeling be? Drunk. That is what Riven had told himself, he was drunk which was why he felt his stomach flutter when he saw Musa not from butterflies but from alcohol.
Musa had been talking to Stella and Stella's new friend Bloom who Musa had just been introduced to by Stella. Bloom was a beautiful girl from a simple town. Stella had met her at a flower shop where Bloom had worked with her parents. The two had hit it off and Stella had invited her to her birthday party. Bloom was nice and sweet, Musa hoped she would stay that way. One too many times Musa had witnessed how Hollywood could change a young sweet girl into a world class bitch. While Musa was chatting with the two, she spotted Riven talking to a group of people 2 she knew but the rest she didn't. Usually, she would have just ignored Riven, but they were supposed to be there together…as a couple. The singer thought back to the flowers she received yesterday. 'Play nice Musa' she thought to herself 'right, nice' she reminded, she excused herself from Stella and Bloom and began to walk towards Riven.
Once again Riven looked good. His outfit was simple, a plain white T shirt and a designer pair of jeans with a pair of Nike sneakers she had never seen before. While yes, the outfit was simple Riven's physique made it look like so much more. Musa could see the outline of his 6 pack abs and chiseled chest through his shirt. His arms were big and strong, muscles flexed when he had lifted his beer to his lips. Again, Musa admired the tattoo on his arm as she let her get lost in Riven's appearance.
"Hey you" Musa said flirtingly to Riven as she let her hand fall from the fighters biceps down to his wrist where she held him with a light grip. Riven stiffened under Musa's touch and tried his best not to snatch his arm away from the pop star. "Musa." The fighter said in response. Musa felt Riven's uncomfortableness and let his wrist go as she turned to say hi to Helia and Brandon. "Nice seeing you guys." Musa said sweetly as she stood next to Riven waiting for him to introduce her to his friends. "You all probably already know who she is." Riven said a bit too snidely for Musa's liking. It ended up being Brandon who properly introduced her to everyone and vice versa.
After a few minutes Riven had excused himself from his friends to grab another drink. He couldn't stand to be around everyone gushing over Musa and how humble she was pretending to be. He knew it was all for show, he could see it plain as day; so why couldn't anyone else? That and the fact that he thought Musa had looked just a little too good in that red dress. Riven made a conscious decision that he would avoid Musa and any conversation around her and their new relationship. The night carried on with drinks flowing, music blasting, girls dancing and a slew of entertainment from fire eaters to belly dancers and special musical acts performing for the blonde birthday girl.
After a hour or two after everyone sang happy birthday to Stella the party had begun to wind down. Riven had managed to seemingly avoid Musa for the majority of the party; that is until she caught him at the bar ordering himself one last drink before he called it a night.
"You know you don't have to avoid me like the plague." Musa said as she placed her empty martini glass on the bar top. Musa could not understand why the fighter had been avoiding her the whole night. Sure he wasn't really her boyfriend; shoot they weren't even really friends but that didn't mean they couldn't speak to each other every now and then they did have an imagine to maintain. How would anyone believe that they were a couple if Riven went awol every time Musa came around. " I think I'd rather have the plague." Riven responded gruffly. The statement had taken Musa aback a bit. Why the hell was he acting like this? Did his agent not speak to him about his shitty attitude? Was he not supposed to be on his best behavior…..was, was this his best behavior? All of these thoughts ran through the Grammy nominated artist's mind.
Maybe Musa had had enough of the fighters trash ass attitude or maybe the alcohol was starting to get to her, maybe it was a combination of both. Whatever it was it was enough to let Musa speak her mind freely without hesitation or second thought. "And here I thought you gonna play nice and stop being a complete asshole. But I guess old habits die hard."
"And tell me why the fuck would I do that?" Riven bit back as the bartender placed his dink in front of him. Who did she think she was to call him an asshole? "Well I thought you sending roses to the studio was a good start even though my favorites are lilies." Musa huffed. 'Sent roses to the studio?' Riven thought, oh right Kate had sent flowers to Musa as an apology from him.
"I didn't send those, Kate did. I really don't see why she did anyway but whatever." Riven said as he took a sip of his drink coolly. Musa's stomach dropped.
'He didn't send those flowers.'
The songstress was't sure why she felt so hurt. He didn't care if he had embarrassed her and he wasn't remorseful about his actions at all. Was she not worthy of an apology? Did the fighter really think so little of her to not even say sorry? With every passing second the blue eyed singers anger had risen. The hurt she had felt momentarily was replaced with anger. If Riven wasn't going to play nice neither was she. "You know what Riven." Musa said snidely ass Riven turned his head to look down at the singer as she spoke. Her demeanor had changed from when she first approached him. She stood tall and rigid with one arm resting on the bar top hold her clutch with a vice like grip and the other down at her side hand in a fist. He could tell Musa was pissed off, it intrigued him. Why was she so mad that he was not the one to send her those flowers. Riven stood up straight as he turned his body to the angry singer in front of him, he was only a few inches taller than her now due to the sky-high heels adorned on her feet.
He took in Musa's appearance once again. There was something attracting Riven to Musa at that very moment maybe it had been the alcohol he had been consuming over the past few hours or maybe it was the little wrinkle over her nose when she made what he assumed was her angry face. It didn't matter what it was but the marooned haired fighter was enjoying the pop princess getting worked up. "Maybe she just need some dick…" He thought as a smirk came across his face.
— "No!" Riven quickly interrupted his own thought. What had gotten into him? He should not be fantasizing about taking Musa home and ripping that red dress right off her toned body. Or how she would look with nothing on but those sky-high heels prancing around his bedroom, or how he would grab a fist full of her luscious hair while he was behind her fuc…. "Dammit!" He was doing it again. Riven needed to focus, he could not let the little siren invade his thoughts like that.
"… you know if you didn't want to do this you could've just said no. Are you even listening to me Riven?!" That was the only thing Riven managed to hear after his internal battle. Riven huffed in response. "Wow Riven, you are really something else, honestly I don't think I could stand to be around you for another minute. If I never had to see you again it would be too soon if it wasn't for that contract I wouldn't even give you the time of day." Musa sniped quietly so that no one other than Riven could hear. Just the Nabu and his girlfriend Layla had approached the fighting couple.
"Hey there you guys are!" Layla said as and Nabu reached the two. "So Brandon and Stella are having a little after party at Startlet's Gentlemen's Club, we wanted to know if you guys were coming?" Nabu asked as he pointed behind him towards Stella and Brandon who were saying their final goodbyes to their party guests. Usually Musa would loved going to the strip clubs, it was full of confidant beautiful women, great music and drinks. Just what Musa needed to blow off some steam but right now she did not want to spend another minute with Riven. Before Musa could open her mouth to regretfully decline, Riven spoke up.
"We're in!" Riven said as he snaked his arm around Musa's waist. The singer turned her head up to Riven. What was he doing? Musa could see this mischief in his eyes. He was up to something, well if he wanted to play games let the games begin.
'What was that about if she never saw me again it would be too soon?" Riven smirked if he had to deal with her he was going to make it interesting.
"Yeah of course! I love strip clubs!" Musa agreed, shocking Riven, Nabu, and Layla. 'Two can play that game'.
"Awesome! Alright we're just waiting for the car to pull up and then we're out." Nabu said smiling at how cool his friends new girlfriend was most girls wouldn't even let their new boyfriends go to a strip club let alone tag along. He thought he had been lucky when Layla had agreed to go but now his best friend's girl agreed too! Tonight would be a movie.
There had been little paparazzi outside when they group of 6 had left the birthday venue and into the car to the gentlemen's club. They had reached the upscale strip club with out being spotted to everyone relief. The club was packed. There were people everywhere. The music was loud and fast the drinks were cold and strong, the girls were beautiful and ….flexible, money was floating around in the air.
The group had gotten a private section with their own stage. Bottle girls had gathered around dancing and waving bottles of alcohol and sparklers for to celebrate Stella's birthday. Everyone drank, talked, laughed with one another well everyone save for Musa and Riven. Musa had spent the majority of the time talking to Layla . She found out that they both had a love for music and dancing and outdoor activities. Musa actually really liked Layla and could see them becoming really close friends. While Musa was talking to Layla. Nabu and Riven were having their own conversation.
"Looks like this two are are having fun."Nabu said to Riven as he took a sip of his drink. "Seems so." Riven said coolly, he didn't want to let on that he had been annoyed by the fact that Musa was ignoring him. The plan was for him to annoy her and her have to deal with it, not this silent treatment he'd been getting. He for are thought Musa would hate going to a place like this having women basically naked dancing walking around would bother her but apparently he was so wrong. Musa looked like she was having the time of her life, drinking and throwing money at the dancers, she even slapped a stripper on the ass as she tipped her. Riven would've that was hot if he didn't hate Musa. Riven needed something to get under her skin but what?
Just then Stella stood up to make a toast. "I just want to say thank you guys for celebrating my birthday with me!" She yelled as she raised her glass up in the air. Everyone followed, putting their glasses up in the air as well. "Cheers to another year around the sun!" —"Cheers!" Everyone said and then drank. "I have one last birthday wish!" Stella slurred a bit, the after effects of the alcohol kicking in. Everyone waiting for what the blonde was going to say next. "Well Musa I know you love the strip club and it's my birthday." Stella giggled as she began "So I want you to dance for me, I want a lap dance!" Everyone cheered and hooted as both Stella and Musa laughed. "Fine but only because it's your birthday." Musa laughed.
The songstress lead the fashion designer to her seat in a seductive manner. Musa began to dance for Stella like a professional. Brandon had taken Musa's seat between Riven and Layla as everyone watched Musa perform for Stella, she was a natural. "Damn that kinda hot." Layla said as everyone nodded in agreement. It was more than just hot it was down right sexy.
With every move of her hips and flip of her hair Riven could feel his resolve dissolving. The alcohol was heightening his lustful emotions he had been trying to suppress since earlier. With every moment Riven became more enchanted with the pop star. When did she learn to move like that? Stella had put a few dollars into the pop stars top, Riven had wondered if she was as much as a performer in bed as she was right now? The fighter had been so caught up in his fantasy that he didn't catch himself speaking until it was too late.
"Shit when do I get a dance." …Fuck. He had said that out loud, maybe no one heard him.
"Babe, I think Riven wants his girlfriend back." Brandon laughed as he called out to Stella who was still enjoying the show. Double fuck.
"Musa why don't you give Riven a little dance, it's obvious that he jealous." Stella joked as Musa stopped dancing. "Uh, he's not jealous he's just talking shit." Musa said quickly, she was not going to dance for that jerk. "Really cuz it sound to me like you're nervous." Stella teased, the blonde knew could see the flustered look on Musa's face and the hungry look in Riven's eyes. Yeah, he wanted the singer and Musa was acting unusually shy around Riven they had barely spoken to each other. Stella was going to help fix that! "I don't know it's not like you to sound so nervous." Stella baited. "Stella if Musa's feeling shy then don't pressure her." Brandon smirked he knew what his girlfriend was doing and he was gonna help her and his violet eyed best friend. "I think Riven just makes her nervous."
"Riven does not make me nervous!" Musa defended. "You sure? You do seem a bit flustered and I know people watching you doesn't bother you at all so it must be Riven." Brandon egged on, he knew Musa would not back down from a challenge. "It is not!" Musa said defensively. Why the hell would that jerk make her nervous.
This was his shot he was gonna get under her skin. "Guys come on give her a break, she's obviously a little nervous. I do that to her sometimes." Riven said as he let his lips curl up to the shit head smirk he could muster up. She would have to 'admit' that she was too nervous to dance for Riven and everyone finding the embarrassment 'cute' and 'sweet' she would have to play along with it and….
"Fine! If you want me to dance for you, I'm gonna give you a dance like you've never had." Musa said fiercely. The singer poured herself a shot of tequila and took it to the head like a pro before she sauntered up to the private stage. If a show is what he wanted a show is what he'll get. "You're welcome." Brandon said to to Riven as he raised his fist to bump with the fighter, which Riven did bump in return before he walked up onto the stage where Musa was and sat in the sole chair on the stage.
Musa started off slow and innocent but with a flip of her hair it all turned very seductive very fast. Musa was swaying her body in ways Riven could only admire. Damn she was sexy. Moving her hips and flipping her hair dancing seductively to the music, Riven didn't think it could get any hotter until she got on the floor and started dancing. Arching her back pushing her ass up in the air Riven wondered if that how she liked to be fucked. He watched as she made her ass jiggle in the red dress she had been wearing. She was like a goddess straight out of his fantasies. Then she began to seductively crawl to him. Their friends began to cheer Musa on and whistle at the couple screaming for them to "Take it off" in a joking manner. But it was like they were in their own world just the two of them Riven and Musa. The entertainer and the entertained, and boy was Riven entertained. He was feeling extremely lusty and Musa moving around like that did nothing to help the situation.
Musa could tell that she had Riven locked in a trance. His eyes followed her every move anticipating more. She was going to make him suffer in the best way. Musa crawled to the fighter seductively and danced between his legs for a moment. Then she went in for the kill. She got up from the floor and straddled the 3x UFC fighting champion and began her torture as she slow grinned on him. Making sure her tits where in his face and placing his hands on her thighs right before her ass she worked him slowly, nibbling on his ear and neck. All of the seductiveness was starting to turn Musa on her self as she felt her nipples getting hard. She was starting to get wet. She dry humped him until she felt his hands tighten around her thighs and his member harden in his pants. She had won.
All too fast for Riven's liking Musa had stopped grinding on him. He look up to her face to hear her say "You could never make me nervous." In such a seductive tone he almost tried to stop her as she got off of him. He could hear the applause from his friends as Musa descended off of the stage. "Musa I knew you were hot but I don't think I've ever been this sexually attracted to you!" Stella said drunkly as Musa made her way back to the private section the group of friends had. "Yea girl you were working it up there!" The female rapper Layla said to Musa. The singer blushed, she wasn't quite sure what had gotten into her. She looked back to where she had left Riven on the stage, he was still sitting in the chair, probably waiting for his erection to subside. There was mischief, intrigue, and lust in the young fighters eyes as he watched Musa.
Maybe he would actually have some fun with the pop star if this was what she was like was really like. Riven was going to find out who Musa really was.
