AN: Thanks to those of you who showed interest in this one. I am going to be updating my profile page in a couple of days to sort of give better an indication on the character's ages. Again, I am veering away from cannon in some other ways as well. If you have a question regarding the ages, etc. feel free to ask.

Chapter 2: A Bellatrix Hair Day

He was a Black apparently and Healer Black was his aunt or Aunt Narcissa as he was to call her. So was Healer Tonks. Or Aunt Andromeda as he was told he could call her. He didn't get his parents' names.

When he asked, he was told that they were both gone.

Still an orphan so it appeared. Apparently, the Potters had adopted him not long after he was born.

"It wasn't properly done." Aunt Narcissa huffed.

"Narcissa," Aunt Andromeda said looking at Harry. Apparently, she didn't like the way his other aunt was reacting to the situation.

"I don't know anything about my parents….err, the Potters. So, I really don't mind if Aunt Narcissa doesn't care for them." Harry just wanted to know what was going on.

Aunt Andromeda bit her lip while Narcissa smirked. Finally, she said. "Be that as it may, Narcissa is an adult, and the Potters did take care of you while they were alive. We don't know the full circumstances of how you came into their care. Narcissa shouldn't talk about them so harshly"

"Really, Andi?" Narcissa said. "And we all know Harry's mother would've never allowed him to be adopted let alone by a—"

She stopped herself before she said something probably because Aunt Andromeda looked like she was about to kill Aunt Narcissa. There was something almost feral about her face. Her eyes seemed to look oddly lighter, and her hair seemed to have taken a life of its own.

"So, my parents wanted me then?"

Harry didn't know why he asked it or if even mattered since his biological parents were apparently dead as well. Still, it was weird thinking he was wanted when all he ever had been was a burden to the Dursleys and he was more or less told that he was a drunken mistake.

"Of course, your mother wanted you."

"And my father?"

"I'm sure he loved you as well." Aunt Andromeda said as Aunt Narcissa shot her another look.

Harry wanted to ask more about his parents, but he had learned very early on that asking questions could sometimes lead to more trouble. And he knew that there was something neither of his aunts wanted to reveal about his parents.

Andromeda frowned after the boy had fallen asleep again after giving him his potions and motioned Narcissa to follow her to her office.

Narcissa glared at her, wanting to stay with their nephew but came anyway.

Andromeda waived her wand, throwing up a privacy ward as they entered before she finally growled. "Was that really necessary? Couldn't you have waited until he was more stable?"

Narcissa rolled her eyes as she conjured a dark purple velvet chaise lounge to lounge in since apparently the chairs Andromeda had would not do. Andi noticed that her sister's usual sleek blonde hair was looking rather Bellatrix-like today as well. She wasn't surprised. She was just surprised Cissy hadn't thrown a whole bottle of Sleekeazy on it to attempt to keep her perfect appearance. Then again, maybe she did. It had been a difficult week to say the least. They both probably looked Bellatrix-like.

They had a nephew.

Harry Potter was their nephew. He was her son and his as well. She still remembered the look on Cissy's face when she saw the results.

The impossible being possible.

She just couldn't believe it

"I still can't imagine our nephew to be named something so common. If Bella only knew."

Andromeda rolled her eyes, "I can only imagine what sort of name she'd stick him with."

"Says the woman who named her daughter Nymphadora."

Andromeda grimaced. She knew Cissy had a point. And truth be known, she wasn't a huge fan of the name Harry either. Though, she doubted the boy was going to want to go by a different name let alone one that Bella would've stuck him with.

"She'd likely would've named him after Father." Narcissa mused. "Cygnus is much more suited name for a Black than Harry. Though I guess she could've named him after his father."

"Well, Harry is his name." Andromeda said. "And it's been his name for eleven years. I doubt he'd want to change it to Cygnus, or Pollux, Orion, or whatever constellation she was obsessed with when he was born."

"I'm sure Bella wouldn't ask. Though it really doesn't matter."

"Indeed," Andromeda said knowing that their sister was more than less dead since she was serving a life sentence in Azkaban.

"She never told me she was with child." Narcissa said, "Then again, she might've. Who even knows at this point. I thought she was married to Lestrange of all people until the other day. Lestrange. He was sleeping with Gilderoy Lockhart back during fifth year."

"And every other male student that gave him the time of day." Andromeda said remembering how she and Ted would often find Lestrange with his latest conquest in the broom closet much to their exasperation when they tried to have a little one on one time—thank heaven they found that room on the seventh floor.

After finding out the boy's identity she and Cissy had both remembered things they forgot about. Such as who Bellatrix had been married to or had married first. Reality itself seemed distorted. She still didn't know what all Lily Potter had done to try to ensure that Harry was her child, but she didn't think it was just as simple as a botched adoption ritual. And she didn't think Lily Potter was the only person involved in this mess.

"Bella might be married to Lestrange to be fair. There are still too many gaps."

"You know Mother and Father and his parents would've made them sign a blood contract. They made me do it before Lucius and I married."

Andromeda grimaced. A blood contract. They might've made Narcissa do that after Andromeda turned Lucius down, but she wouldn't have put it past them to make her sign such a thing had she stayed. Still there was likely some sort of fail-safe. There usually was if the marriage turned out to be a complete failure as she pointed out to Narcissa.

"But then she married Rodolphus?"

"Well, it wouldn't be first time a ponce got married for an heir."

"But to Bella?"

"Well, who she did get married to first was more unbelievable."

"And not, knowing our parents and his." Narcissa said with a disgusted look.

"Which is one of the reasons why I ran away." Andromeda verbalized. "I remember now. Don't you remember how sad she was that day?"

Andromeda couldn't help but grimace when she saw her sister in the Black family wedding robes complete with the Black family tiara.

She didn't look like herself at all.

Her usual wild hair had been clearly dipped in Sleakeazy multiple times and was pinned tighter than any bun that Aunt Walburga would ever wear. Not a curl in sight. It looked darker than usual too, almost a pitch dark blue black, clearly the work of Mother's beautician since none of the russet highlights that were usually in Bella's hair could be seen. She had also done her sister's makeup. Bella usually spent less time on her face than even Andromeda did, but Mother had somehow made her look like a living doll she always wanted. Her freckles gone, her lashes ridiculously long, her lips were an unnatural looking red. She looked like a pureblood princess that Mother had always wanted her to be.

The Black Family wedding robes while the state of the fashion in the Victorian era were now more than a little dated. However, it was a tradition in the family to wear said robes and tiara.

Unfortunately, Great Grandmama Black had the figure similar of the late muggle queen that the Victorian era was named after. She had been a Bulstrode by birth after all. Bella was about a good foot or so taller than her and was maybe half of her size in girth. Which meant despite the alterations to the robes, she looked like she was drowning in fabric with how many layers the garments had. It didn't help that she had to be fitted for a hoopskirt for the gown which had been an ordeal in itself.

Because who wore hoopskirts still?

But apparently Mother knew just the place and Bella had been outfitted with one as well as other undergarments such as a corset that witches would've worn in the mere little year old of 1841 or whenever it was the old bat had first married her father's namesake.

Then there was that tiara.

The tiara was an ugly old thing like most of the rest of the Black jewels were. Obsidians were heavily used since it was the family stone after all, and big fat pear diamonds and a few rubies adorned the black metal set piece. It was priceless, acquired in the 14th century after Taurus Black won a shrewd card game against some vicious gnomes. Personally, Andromeda thought it was gaudy and ugly looking she wouldn't have paid a single knut for it. But apparently it was an honor just to wear it. It was also rumored that only a Black could wear it and that anyone else would suffer a quick but painful death.

It looked like Bella was suffering an excruciating painful death while wearing it.

Just like Andromeda was—she still couldn't believe that this would be her soon enough. Her and Lucius Malfoy.

She wanted to throw up.

"Don't, Andi." Bella said noticing her presence. "I could easily say something about your robes too."

"I wasn't thinking about the robes." Though the frilly peach bridesmaid robes that Mother had picked out were almost as ghastly as what Bella wore complete with magic corsets and hoopskirts too since there needed to be uniformity with the wedding party per Mother. Though Bella's skirt was definitely the biggest since she was the star of the show. "Besides, I'll know I'll be stuffed into that monstrosity soon enough.""I don't know how these have remained a family tradition to wear." Bella said glaring at the ridiculous that was the robe's skirts.

"Probably because it's a torture device," Andromeda said. "Our family's motto really should be always torture."

Bella laughed and smiled. It was the first time she had seen her smile in a long time.

"Bella…"

"I have no choice. You know that, Andi."

She shook her head.

"Like you said, it will be you in this dress before you know it."

She knew Bella was right. The only reason she wasn't being dragged down the aisle right now was because Bella's wedding was to be the wedding in the family. It wasn't that her parents were allowing her to go to healing school before marriage like she hoped.

"Lucius isn't that bad." Bella said to Andromeda noticing her unease.

"I could say the same thing about your groom." Andromeda replied and at the time she really thought that Bella's fiancé wasn't near as bad as Lucius.

How wrong she was.

"Lucius is not bad." Narcissa repeating exactly what Bella had said in the past.

"No, for you he's perfect for you, but not for me. That would be like marrying Lestrange."

"Lucius is not like that." Narcissa said even though she knew that wasn't what Andromeda meant.

"None of this makes sense," Andromeda said still reeling over the fact she had nephew. A nephew who had been adopted in some sort of botched ritual and became Harry Potter and who was now in St. Mungo's likely for months due to multiple issues.

She remembered how bad the boy's condition was when he first came in. He had almost died. Correction, he had died and had been exposed to that—that thing. Then there was all of the internal damage, compromised organs, not to mention the broken bones compounded with past injuries, severe malnutrition, and adverse effects from whatever had been done to make him appear a Potter. To top it all off the boy's magical core had practically collapsed during all this as well. As it stood, he would not be able to resume his studies anytime soon. It really was amazing he survived, and he almost didn't. He had lost so much blood and had not followed protocol and realized he had a rare blood type he would've been dead.

"You're thinking about his condition?" Narcissa asking probably noticing that she looked like she was going to throw up. It was a pretty good indicator of what she thinking about. That and her hair.

She knew she also had Bellatrix hair.

Bellatrix hair. Or really a sign of Black madness taking over. One of the many delightful traits that came with being a pureblood with a rare blood type—or blood curse as it was also known.

Narcissa looked at her, "Have you kept up with your occlumency, Andi."

"You're one to talk." She said eying Narissa's blonde Bellatrix hair. She'd never get used to Cissy being a blonde.

Narcissa sighed, "I probably do need to do some extra practice. All of this is a lot. And like you, anytime I think about how Harry came in here, the condition he's in and will be in for a while, it's just unimaginable., and I find myself not being able to control it."

At least Harry had survived. Poor Molly Weasley's little boy. She had found out that Ronald had been killed on impact by the troll's club when defending a fellow student. His entire body had hit the stone wall in the bathroom. Rumor was that there was barely anything left of him. Just blood, guts, and bits and pieces of broken bone.

Andromeda frowned as she thought about that little muggleborn girl that she had barely glanced at when she was in the Hogwarts' infirmary. The girl herself had been inconsolable but other than a broken arm she had been fine physically. She probably needed to see a mind-healer after witnessing what happened. She hoped for the girl's sake her guardian was aware of what a mind-healer was.

Thinking of guardians, she scowled thinking about Petunia and Vernon Dursley. Based on the boy's scan alone she wanted skin them alive and that's even before she found out she was his aunt.

"I want to kill them too, Andi." Narcissa said before taking a deep breath, "I think I should have Dobby bring us some tea."

"Seriously, tea in St. Mungo's?"

"I know fire whiskey is probably more appropriate, but I don't see what's wrong with tea. I have it all the time at my clinic. It's soothing."

Yes, her private clinic to deal with pureblood issues. Like Black blood. It figured that Narcissa would want to specialize in such diseases. Though admittedly her expertise had come in hand a lot in the past week alone.

"I'm not on duty." She said, "My shift ended half an hour ago I just…"

"I know."

Andromeda knew she knew. She hadn't seen her baby sister in years since she had left working St. Mungo's after becoming pregnant with Draco, but since finding out that Harry was their nephew she hadn't really left his side. It was at least something they could agree about.

"Any news about how the troll got in the school?" Andromeda asked.

"The governors are doing a full inquiry." Narcissa scowled as she pushed back another loose curl.

"I saw Lucius's press piece this morning." Andromeda rolled her eyes.

Even after all these years she still couldn't stand her sister's peacock of a husband. It didn't help that anytime she saw Lucius's swamy face she reminded she was disowned for not marrying said peacock. He and Cissy seemed to have general affection for each other—how, she did not know.

Narcissa smiled, "Dobby, can you bring us a nice oolong?"

Andromeda rolled her eyes at the obvious distraction as the elf came with some tea and shell shaped biscuits, madeleines that tasted of lavender and lemons.

"Nice deflection, but I want to know what's going on. He's my nephew too."

"Did you know the third-floor corridor has been forbidden for students this year?" Narcissa asked as she fixed her tea—a little milk and honey still the same as always. "There was a Cerberus there."

"Guarding something, I'm assuming." Andromeda stated.

"What else would you have a Cerberus for?"

"I'm sure Hagrid would view it as a pet." Andromeda retorted. Almost calling the groundskeeper Haggis. She almost laughed when Harry had called him that the other day.

"Oh, it is his pet actually." Narcissa said, "He calls it Fluffy."

"I really think you should've asked the elf for some fire whiskey." Andromeda said as she now doctored her tea. "My hair is going to look more ridiculous by the end of this."

"St. Mungo's." Narcissa reminded her.

Oh, Andromeda was very aware where they were. However, the hospital was the best place for them to talk. Away from all the points of contention meaning her muggleborn husband and Narcissa's pureblood ponce.

Andromeda shook her head. "So, what was Fluffy guarding?"

"That is still trying to be determined."

"No one is talking?" She asked, "Not even Lucius's lapdog?"

"If you're talking about Severus, he's not able to say anything. None of the staff can say anything or remember anything about what's going on there. Between that and the troll, it's likely going to involve Amelia Bones and her department before all is said and done."

"So, I'm assuming they're pretty sure that someone deliberately set that troll loose."

"That is the theory." Narcissa said, "Trolls are stupid creatures they can't get passed a thousand-year-old wards without a little help."

Andromeda shook her head. "I can't believe that Dumbledore is letting all of this go on."

"Clearly, you were sorted into the wrong house, sister, if you are that naïve."

Andromeda knew Narcissa was likely right.

"Your precious Dumbledore is trying to ram his way into Harry's treatment." Narcissa stated. "It's only because of Luc's investigation he hasn't been trying to break into this ward and kidnap him.

Narcissa's hair seemed to frizz some more. It wouldn't be staying in that formerly sleek knot long if she kept that up.

Andromeda thought Cissy was being a bit melodramatic about Dumbledore, until she remembered about how he acted at the school. And how it was only because of a grieving mother she was able to get him into the hospital without him interfering.

And she knew Cissy was right. She knew he had been trying to prod his way into seeing the boy. Luckily, secured wards at Mungo's essentially operated like being under a Fidelius Charm. Anyone who worked in the ward would essentially not be able to talk about their patients outside of the ward or remember details about their patient's health or even their name. It was the only reason they hadn't attempted to move the boy yet. Plus, his condition was still too volatile for him to be moved.

"Touched a nerve didn't I, Andi?"

"He's not my precious Dumbledore and why would he have been involved in Harry's care? He isn't even his listed guardian."

"No, but he certainly thinks being headmaster entitles him to know everything about the boy." Narcissa said, "And those muggles weren't his legal guardians either. Bella never sold her son unlike him."

"We don't even know if that's what happened." Andromeda said almost grimacing when she thought about who she was defending.

"Well, how else would he have ended up with the Potters?" Narcissa said.

"James is a distant cousin." Andromeda pointed out.

"Dorea married Charles not Fleamont." Narcissa said, "I thought I already explained this to you. Clearly, you don't know your own family tree."

Andromeda purposely slurped some of her tea to annoy her sister before she stated, "Disowned, remember?"

"How could I forget that was all Mother would talk about for years." Narcissa said messing with her hair again. "And maybe I really should've had that blasted elf bring us some fire whisky and some Sleakeazy. The knot is a lost cause."

"Sorry," Andromeda said, "I couldn't resist. And the curls don't look that bad. You could start a new trend."

Narcissa shook her head as she undid the tie holding back her hair. It was even a bigger mess than Andromeda's hair which was saying something. "I can't….I….there's a reason I decided to fully take the Malfoy hair, Andi."

"You're admitting you're not a natural blonde?" Andromeda said teasing her, but she knew that Narcissa's hair before she married Lucius had a similar shade to Bella's and her own. Her marriage bond had changed that.

She remembered first seeing Narcissa with two toned hair when Narcissa had been a trainee at the hospital. Blonde streaks mixing in with the dark hair she was born with. She was shocked when she first saw it, knowing what her parents had done after she had rejected Lucius. They had just replaced her with Cissy. For years she thought of her own hair looking like Cissy's having been told early on that when she married Lucius her hair would reflect the bond, but instead it was her baby sister's. And of course, the last time she had seen Cissy—at Bella's trial—her hair was completely the same color as her husband's. The color it was now. Not one strand of the dark hair that had been so similar to her own and Bella's.

Narcissa broke her out of her thoughts, "I idolized her."

Andi nodded because she knew Cissy did. She had worshiped Bella too, but not as much as Cissy. She remembered seeing Cissy at the trial wanting to reach out to, but she didn't. Not with Lucius there.

"I want to talk to her, Andi. See how much she knows. Get an explanation."

"Even if she does know she probably isn't even able to talk to us about it now, Cissy." Andromeda stated.

She knew what Azkaban did to a person's mind. Bella would never be the same after a decade in the place. Not that she had really been the same the few years before she went to prison. Probably in part due to Harry, she thought.

Having a child taken from you could break anyone.

Especially Bella.

Narcissa frowned, "I never thought she'd be—"

A psychopathic Death Eater.

That was what their sister was. She was no longer the prodigious Slytherin seeking to become a dueling champion to defy Black expectations, but a deranged killer who got off on Crucio-ing people.

She grimaced as she thought of the Longbottom family. Their child would be around Harry and Draco's age now.

"Andi," Narcissa's voice sounded almost small. "I wonder if he did something to her to make her like that. I don't want to believe that she is like that because I don't remember Bella being like that until the end. She wasn't herself."

Andromeda sighed. She knew how Narcissa felt. She didn't want to believe either that their big sister who had protected them from the worst of their parents had turned into the most feared witch in the United Kingdom, but she had been there at trial. She had heard Bella laugh about torturing the poor Longbottoms to insanity, declared her devotion to the dark lord.

"You and your half-blood brat deserve to die, blood traitor."

That had been the last thing she had said to her.

Bella also claimed to be married to Lestrange then as well and didn't mention her son at all.

"No. No, Narcissa, don't go down that road. Bella showed who she was. There's no need for false hope."

"I suppose you are right. I just miss her." She grimaced as she fingered one of her loose curls.

"I know." Andromeda said. "But we need to focus on Harry that's what the Bella we knew would've wanted us to do."

The Bella they knew would've been ridiculously overprotective of her son, especially given what happened at that school.

"He won't be able to use a wand until his core's repaired." Andromeda stated.

Narcissa nodded, "Clearly."

"I don't even want him attending Hogwarts if you want to be really honest with you."

"He won't be able to for a while anyway." Narcissa said. "Not this year at least. I did plan to bring him some books to read so he wouldn't get behind theoretically. Perhaps get him a private tutor once he leaves the hospital."

"He may need a new wand as well."

"You're probably right. We might as well wait until we fully undo whatever mudblood did to him. If she wasn't dead, I might have done the job myself."

Andromeda winced at that word. She knew it was acceptable in the circles she grew up with, but every time she heard it she kept remembering being disowned because she dared love Ted and had his baby.

"That 'mudblood' saved his life."

"She stole him from his mother. And her sister and her wretched family almost cost him his life." Narcissa spouted back looking more and more like Bellatrix.

Admittedly, Narcissa had a point. Bella would've never given up her own child even in the state she was now. Even if was his child. Bella had always wanted a child…

"Bella, what's wrong?"

It wasn't like Bella to stop by like this, especially given Mother's wrath since found out that Bella had visited her since she been disowned.

"I lost another one."

Another one.

Another baby.

It was the third time this year.

She knew her sister and husband have been trying and failing. So many times. She also knew that Bella had lunch with Mother that day.

"Mother?" She asked grimacing at what had happened at the lunch.

"Father and her aren't happy," She said. "They…they said I'm a failure. That we're a failure to the bloodline."

"Lucius and I are seeking custody…"

"You're what?" She probably shouldn't have been that caught off guard by what Narcissa said. After all, between the two of them she was probably closer to Bella and likely in a better place that Andromeda was to seek custody given the Peacock's status within the government and obviously both being purebloods.

"Seeking custody to become his emergency guardian," Narcissa repeated as she took a dainty bite out of the French style biscuit. "Clearly, one of us has to step up for him."

"And why don't you think I will?"

"Do you want to?"

Andromeda sighed. A part of her did, but she knew it would be a huge adjustment for her and Ted. Nymphadora was more or less out of the house now. She was in the auror academy and was looking for her own flat. They were essentially empty nesters, even though they had briefly talked about having another child. A baby though, not a fully grown child. Narcissa and Lucius had a child that was Harry's age. It would make sense that he stayed with them, but a part of her wanted that child with her.

There was also the fact that the home they lived in was probably not equipped for the long recovery the boy had ahead of him. She knew that Narcissa had access to what was essentially a mini–St. Mungo's with her clinic and that everything the boy needed would be provided at the manor.

"I want to be part of his life." She said, "I don't want him living the same sort of life we grew up with. I don't want him ending up like her."

"Believe it or not, I'm not Mother." Narcissa said.

Andromeda raised an eyebrow. Out of all her sisters, Narcissa probably took after Drusilla Rosier Black the most. Though you wouldn't be able to tell at this particular moment in time Mother never had Bellatrix hair, which wasn't that big of a surprise since she wasn't a Black by birth.

Much to her surprise she her sister said, "I am not her. I know you don't care for Lucius, but one thing we agree on is that we will never sell any children of ours out to the highest bidder like they're a piece of meat."

Maybe, maybe, she'd be okay with Harry staying with her sister.

"As long as I can see him…" Andromeda said.

"Obviously." Narcissa said.

"We also have to talk about how you're going to get the ministry on signing off custody of Harry Potter to you and your Death Eater husband."
"Luc was found innocent." Narcissa stated.

If she thought the Peacock was innocent that was precious.

"There are things you don't know, sister." Narcissa said in a low voice before adding, "Besides, how can we get custody of Harry Potter when Harry Potter never actually existed."

"How was Andromeda?" He asked when she had finally arrived back at the manor.

It was the first time Narcissa had been home in days. She really needed a long soak. A part of her felt guilty about coming home too, though she knew her nephew would be in a magical induced coma for the next couple of days while they attempted to repair some of his organs. Besides, she needed to do something with her hair. She had blanched when she saw it in the mirror in Andromeda's office. It was such a silly thing to be upset about but—

I'm not her. She told herself. Even though she knew she had just as much chance to becoming mad like Bella.

It was something she usually avoided thinking about. In fact, since Bella had been arrested, she had tried to distance herself from that part of the family as much as she could. The only reason she kept her maiden name professionally was because she was an established healer and with her patients the name Black meant something other than the lunatic who had tortured members of the Sacred Twenty-Eight to insanity and killed countless more.

Could that be her one day? Could one day she just snap like that?

She tried to think of what she could control. Maybe she should consider cutting her hair. She loved it long, but it would not frizz near as much if it was shorter.. Although, she could almost imagine her mother's face blanching at the mere thought of one of her daughters cutting their hair.

"Narcissa?" Lucius asked noticing she was quiet. "Are you okay."

"Fine, I'm fine. It was just a day. Andromeda was surprisingly agreeable," Narcissa lied. She then turned to see her husband who looked to be enjoying a shot of fire whisky while looking at some paperwork at his desk. "I take it nothing new with the school?"

Lucius frowned as he looked up from the files he was looking at. He knew she was lying; she wasn't fine. She usually was so poised and put together, but not tonight. He saw her hair. It hadn't looked like that in ages. Not since she had fully accepted the bond. "I have half a mind to pull Draco out of that blasted place."

"You and I both." Narcissa said, "I still can't believe Dumbledore allowed a troll to kill one of his own students and almost kill another."

Lucius took a sip of whisky at the mere thought of the entire situation. As part of the investigation, he had the misfortune of seeing what was left of the Weasley boy's body. He was unrecognizable. The biggest pieces of him that remained had been fragments of bone. He felt bad for Molly and Arthur, which is something he never thought he'd say.

The Weasley woman had been practically inconsolable at the boy's funeral. As a school governor, he had been forced to attend the service. As well as the entire school too. He still remembered seeing his son there and grimaced thinking about the lack of tact Draco showed.

Something to discuss over the holidays he supposed. That child could be incorrigible at times. Though he thought the school might've been pushing it forcing first years to attend the service—thank Merlin, it was a closed casket.

The only good thing about the whole affair was watching Molly Weasley attempt to curse Dumbledore. He was rooting for her, again something else he did not think he'd ever do. Of course, she went back to harpy status quickly after that when she yelled at the mudblood who her son had died trying to save.

Yes, it may have been a mudblood, but it was still a child she was yelling at. Grief stricken or not.

The poor girl had been shaking so badly he had half a mind to intervene, but luckily Arthur for once told his wife to shut up. He noticed no one had checked on the child to see if she was okay, he thought about saying something but the girl had left the service at that point and then he had to deal with the Weasley family and try to pacify them enough so they wouldn't sue.

"The only good thing about that whole affair was we found out about Harry."

Ah, yes, Harry Potter her nephew. His nephew.

Lucius still wasn't exactly sure how that had happened, like Narcissa he was completely discombobulated with the situation. Knowing that for years that he thought Bella had been married to Peter Pettigrew's lover when she had really been married to someone else confused him more than he knew.

Looking at her he asked, "How is Potter?"

"I'd rather you not call him Potter. Anytime I hear that name I want to curse that mudblood to death again."

"Of course."

"I think Andromeda got annoyed with me today when I called that bitch a mudblood."

Obviously, Andromeda would be annoyed. She had after all married a mudblood after being knocked up by said mudblood, though Lucius was secretly grateful for that. He didn't want to be married to her either. Narcissa was his preferred Black sister. And there was no way Andromeda would've made near as good looking of a blonde. "I still see she's sensitive as ever."

"I really would try to control myself, but I can't help but be angry for Bella. I still can't believe he did that."

Lucius gave her a dubious look, "Really?"

"Yes, really." Narcissa stated, "Even with all his flaws, you'd think he'd care for his own heir. And I thought…"

She shook her head.

"What?"

"It's still hard believing that they were actually a couple let alone married."

That it was. He never would get over the fact that Bellatrix Black had been married and had a child with Sirius Black of all people.
