The whole story has been edited right through over the past few days, I've added a bit more context, particuarly just after Harry leaves Rita, and this chapter properly kick starts OOTP/Zeo for Harry.
Chapter 22.
12 Grimmauld Place
The air in 12 Grimmauld Place was thick with the scent of musty parchment and lingering candle smoke. In the drawing room, Sirius was pacing, his hands clasped behind his back. Harry stood at the other end of the room, holding a wooden practice sword that Sirius had conjured for their training sessions.
"You're getting better." Harry remarked, though his voice lacked its usual enthusiasm.
"Thanks." Sirius replied, adjusting his stance. "But you're holding back. Again."
Sirius stopped pacing, looking at Harry as if weighing something heavy in his mind. For the first time since Harry had known him, Sirius seemed hesitant, uncertain even.
"Harry, there's something I've been meaning to —"
The sharp trill of Harry's communicator cut through the room like a knife. Harry's hand shot to his wrist, and he pressed the button to hear Zordon's voice.
"Harry, Tanya, Kat, and Rocky are under attack by the Wolfsbane monster near the Angel Grove Quarry. Adam and Tommy are en route, but the situation is critical. We need you immediately."
Harry's stomach tightened. "I'm on my way." He turned to Sirius, already reaching for his Power Coin. "Sorry, we'll have to finish this later."
Sirius nodded, but his worried expression deepened. "Be careful, Harry."
With a flash of red light, Harry disappeared.
Angel Grove
The scene at the quarry was chaos. Wolfsbane, a hulking, wolf-like monster with jagged claws and glowing red eyes, loomed over the Power Rangers. His guttural growls echoed off the cliffs as he swatted Zeo Ranger I Pink and Zeo Ranger II Yellow aside like rag dolls. Zeo Ranger III Blue was locked in combat with a squad of Cogs, struggling to keep them from overwhelming him.
The Red Ranger materialized at the edge of the battlefield, taking in the dire situation. Without hesitation, he charged forward, raising the Dragon Dagger to his lips.
The familiar melody pierced the din of battle, and as Wolfsbane turned toward the sound, the Red Ranger hurled the dagger with precision. It struck the monster in the chest, and for a brief, glorious moment, Wolfsbane's form froze before exploding in a shower of debris.
"Nice timing, Harry!" Zeo Ranger II Yellow shouted, helping Zeo Ranger I Pink to her feet.
But the victory was short-lived. The ground trembled as more Cogs emerged, their metallic limbs clanking ominously. The Red Ranger's powers flickered violently, and before he could react, his armor disintegrated in a cascade of sparks, leaving him demorphed and vulnerable.
"Harry!" Zeo Ranger I Pink shouted, rushing toward him.
Before she could reach him, a Cog lunged from the shadows, its metallic fist raised to strike. Harry braced himself, too drained to defend.
Suddenly, a golden streak shot down from the cliffs above, landing with an earth-shaking thud between Harry and the Cog. The figure wielded a gleaming golden staff, which he spun with deadly precision, striking the Cog and sending it flying into a boulder.
The new arrival was clad in shimmering gold and black armor, his helmet adorned with a striking golden crest. He stood tall and unyielding, his Golden Power Staff radiating energy.
"Who —?" Zeo Ranger III Blue began, but the Gold Ranger ignored him.
The Gold Ranger charged into the fray, his movements swift and calculated. He swept the Golden Power Staff in a wide arc, knocking multiple Cogs off their feet. One Cog lunged at him from behind, but the Gold Ranger spun effortlessly, striking it with a glowing pulse from his staff.
The remaining Cogs regrouped, their mechanical eyes glowing menacingly. They rushed him in unison, but the Gold Ranger planted his staff into the ground, unleashing a shockwave of golden energy that sent them sprawling.
"It's time for a Gold Rush!" the Gold Ranger shouted, raising his staff high.
The staff emitted a brilliant golden light as the Gold Ranger dashed forward in a blur of speed. Each strike of the staff sent a Cog exploding into sparks and debris. The air crackled with energy as he moved faster than the eye could follow, dismantling the entire squad of Cogs in mere moments.
When the dust settled, the Gold Ranger stood amidst the wreckage, his armor glowing faintly in the aftermath of his attack.
The Power Rangers stared in stunned silence.
The Gold Ranger turned to Harry, who was struggling to stay upright. He offered a hand, helping him to his feet.
"You've got heart." the Gold Ranger said, his voice calm but firm. "But your powers are failing. You can't keep this up forever."
Harry met his gaze, his expression resolute. "I'll do what I must to protect the Earth. Always."
The Gold Ranger regarded him for a moment, then gave a nod of respect.
Without another word, he turned and leapt back to the cliff, vanishing in a flash of gold light.
The remaining Power Rangers hurried to Harry's side, their faces a mix of concern and confusion.
"Who was that?" Zeo Ranger II Yellow asked, breaking the silence.
"No idea." Zeo Ranger V Red said, his voice tinged with awe. "But he's incredible."
Zeo Ranger I Pink helped Harry to his feet, her worry evident. "Are you okay?"
Harry nodded weakly. "I'm fine. Let's head back."
12 Grimmauld Place
Harry returned to Grimmauld Place to find Sirius still in the drawing room, now seated by the fire. His expression brightened when he saw Harry, but the relief was fleeting.
"You look like hell." Sirius said, standing to greet him.
"Thanks." Harry muttered, collapsing onto the couch.
Sirius poured a glass of water and handed it to him. "You're pushing yourself too hard."
"I have to." Harry replied, setting the glass down.
Sirius hesitated again, then finally sat beside him. "Harry, there's something I've been meaning to ask you."
Harry glanced at him, curious. "What is it?"
Sirius exhaled deeply, running a hand through his hair. "How would you feel about me becoming the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor this year?"
Harry blinked, caught off guard. "You? Teaching?"
Sirius smirked. "Don't sound so surprised. Dumbledore wants someone in the position who isn't working for the Ministry. He thinks I'll keep an eye on things, especially with everything that's been happening."
Harry grinned. "I think it's a great idea."
Sirius laughed, though there was a serious undertone to his voice. "And it keeps the Ministry from planting someone who'll make your life harder after... everything."
Harry's smile faded slightly. "You mean the smear campaign? After what I did as the Green Ranger, being called a liar doesn't compare."
Sirius's expression grew somber. "This year, they'll start asking you what you want to do after Hogwarts."
Harry hesitated, staring into the fire. "I don't know." he admitted. "If I'm being honest, I'm not sure if I'll stay in the wizarding world after Hogwarts. There's so much out there… so much beyond Hogwarts, beyond Earth."
Sirius studied him closely. "If you do leave Earth, you'd better take me with you."
Harry snorted. "You're joking, right?"
Sirius didn't respond immediately. When he did, his tone was quiet but resolute. "Not entirely."
Harry's throat tightened. He knew he only had one morph left, if that. But every fight as a Power Ranger had shown him how vast and unrelenting the universe's evils were.
The fire crackled in the silence between them.
"I'm not sure what I want yet." Harry finally said. "But I know I can't just go back to normal. Not after this."
Sirius placed a hand on his shoulder. "Whatever you decide, you won't face it alone. I promise you that."
Harry nodded, his heart heavy but resolute.
For now, he would fight. But the future was vast, and Harry couldn't shake the feeling that his destiny lay among the stars.
12 Grimmauld Place
A couple of days later, 12 Grimmauld Place was alive with activity as the last day of summer holidays brought a chaotic energy to the house. Mrs. Weasley was barking instructions to Fred and George, who were sneaking joke products into their trunks, while Ron and Hermione debated over the best strategy to organize their school supplies. Harry sat quietly in the corner of the kitchen, sipping a glass of water and trying to enjoy the brief reprieve.
His communicator's urgent beep shattered the moment. The familiar sound was like a jolt of electricity through his veins. Everyone paused, their eyes on Harry, who quickly masked his reaction.
"Uh… must be time for my karate class." he mumbled, standing abruptly.
Lupin raised an eyebrow. "Karate? I thought that was on Wednesdays?"
"It's... a special session." Harry replied, already making his way to the hallway.
As soon as he was out of earshot, Harry tapped his communicator. "I'm here, Zordon."
Zordon's deep, calm voice filled the air. "Harry, there is an urgent matter. Billy's ship is returning from Aquitar, but King Mondo has intercepted it. His ship has been knocked off course and is now drifting dangerously close to the Machines' skybase."
Harry's heart sank. "Is he okay?"
"Billy's systems are down, including his heaters, and his oxygen levels are critically low. The Rangers are retrieving a replacement fuel cell to power the tractor beam, but Mondo has sent Klank and Mechanizer to ambush them."
Harry's mind raced. "What can I do to help?"
"Harry." Zordon said with a tone of caution, "your powers are not stable. This mission will push them beyond their limits. I advise against —"
"I'm going." Harry interrupted firmly. "Billy's risked everything for us time and time again. I'm not just going to sit here."
There was a pause before Zordon responded. "Very well. Summon the Dragonzord. But exercise caution, Harry."
Angel Grove
The Red Ranger teleported to Angel Grove's harbor, the familiar salty breeze brushing against his face. The Dragon Dagger was already in his hands, and he raised it to his lips. The haunting melody echoed across the water, growing in intensity until the ocean surface trembled.
The Dragonzord emerged from the depths with a roar, its towering form casting a long shadow over the harbor. Its glowing green eyes locked onto the Red Ranger as if sensing the urgency of the situation.
"Ready, old friend?" the Red Ranger whispered, leaping onto the Dragonzord's head.
The cockpit opened, and the Red Ranger stepped inside, gripping the controls tightly. "Let's go save Billy."
The Dragonzord roared again, its powerful legs propelling it toward the horizon before its thrusters engaged, lifting it into the sky. The transition from Earth's atmosphere to the cold expanse of space was seamless, but the Red Ranger felt the strain almost immediately.
The Dragonzord wasn't designed for space travel.
The cockpit temperature plummeted as they broke through the atmosphere. The Red Ranger's breath fogged the visor of his helmet, and a shiver ran through his body. Despite the Dragonzord's impressive capabilities, its systems flickered as it adapted to the hostile environment.
"Hold it together." the Red Ranger murmured, though he wasn't sure if he was talking to himself or the Zord.
Through the viewport, he spotted Billy's ship, a small, damaged vessel spinning helplessly toward the Machine Empire's skybase. Alarms blared as the Dragonzord's sensors detected incoming fire from the base.
"Not today." the Red Ranger muttered, gripping the controls. He directed the Dragonzord to intercept the blasts, its tail deflecting the energy bolts in a series of sharp movements.
But the strain was taking its toll. The Red Ranger felt the flickering of his powers like a dimming light inside him. His breathing grew labored, and he could feel the Dragonzord struggling to respond.
"Come on, old friend. Just a little longer." he urged.
Finally, he brought the Dragonzord alongside Billy's ship. Through the viewport, he saw his friend slumped in his seat, frost creeping along the edges of the cockpit window.
"Billy, I'm here!" the Red Ranger called through the communicator. "Hold on!"
The Red Ranger activated the Dragonzord's grappling arm, carefully latching onto Billy's ship. The strain of holding the ship's weight was palpable; the Dragonzord's systems groaned in protest.
Just as the Red Ranger began towing the ship away from the skybase, Mondo unleashed another volley of blasts. This time, the Dragonzord couldn't block them all. One struck its side, sending sparks flying in the cockpit.
"Harry, your powers are dangerously low!" Alpha's voice crackled through the communicator. "The Dragonzord won't hold up much longer!"
"I don't care!" the Red Ranger shouted, his grip on the controls tightening. "Billy's coming home!"
The Dragonzord roared in defiance, its thrusters flaring brighter as it pushed through the onslaught. But the Red Ranger could feel his connection weakening. The cockpit lights flickered, and his vision blurred.
Angel Grove
Meanwhile, back on Earth, the Power Rangers were locked in a fierce battle with Mechanizer. Explosions rocked the university warehouse as the massive robot blasted support beams, trying to bring the building down.
Zeo Ranger V Red led the charge, dodging a barrage of missiles as he secured the fuel cell. "We've got it! Let's move!"
But Mechanizer wasn't done. He turned his weapons on Zeo Ranger III Blue and Zeo Ranger II Yellow, sending them flying through the air. As the others scrambled to regroup, Zeo Ranger V Red made a daring leap from the collapsing building, clutching the fuel cell in his arms.
"We need to hurry!" Zeo Ranger I Pink said, panic creeping into her voice. "Harry's out there, and his powers —"
Zordon's calm voice interrupted. "Harry has reached Billy. They are en route to Earth."
As the Red Ranger guided the Dragonzord back toward Earth, the Machine Empire's forces launched one final assault. Mondo's skybase unleashed a barrage of energy beams, each one more powerful than the last.
The Dragonzord took the hits head-on, shielding Billy's ship with its massive frame. Inside the cockpit, the Red Ranger felt the Dragonzord shudder with each impact.
"Just hold on!" he pleaded.
But the Dragonzord's systems were failing. Lights dimmed, alarms blared, and the Red Ranger felt the connection between him and the Dragonzord snap like a taut wire breaking under pressure.
With one final roar, the Dragonzord used the last of its energy to guide itself and Billy's ship safely into Angel Grove's harbor. The impact was hard but controlled, the Dragonzord collapsing into the water as steam and sparks erupted from its damaged body.
The Red Ranger stumbled out of the cockpit, his legs trembling as he collapsed onto the rocky shore. Behind him, the Dragonzord let out a final, mournful roar that echoed across the landscape, its towering form illuminated in a cascade of green and gold light.
"No!" Harry screamed, his voice breaking as he watched the machine that had been his steadfast companion through countless battles explode into a brilliant, fiery blaze.
The impact of the explosion sent a shockwave rippling through the area, and Harry felt the power within him flicker violently. His Red Ranger armor disintegrated in a cascade of red and white sparks, leaving him kneeling on the ground in his civilian clothes. He clutched at his chest, the emptiness where the Power Coin's energy had always been now a stark, aching void.
The last remnants of the Power Coin's strength were gone. He could feel it — his connection to the Morphing Grid had faded completely.
As the dust settled, Billy emerged shakily from his ship, his movements unsteady but alive. He approached Harry, his eyes heavy with a mix of gratitude and sorrow. Kneeling beside him, Billy placed a hand on Harry's shoulder.
"You and the Dragonzord saved me." Billy said softly. His voice was filled with a deep respect that only heightened the weight of what Harry had just lost.
Harry nodded numbly, his gaze still fixed on the spot where the Dragonzord had stood. The silence between them was broken only by the distant crash of waves and the faint hum of residual energy dissipating into the air.
"We need to get back." Billy said gently, pulling out his communicator.
Harry didn't respond at first, his fists clenching against the earth. Finally, he forced himself to rise, his body heavy with exhaustion and grief.
Billy activated his communicator, and in a flash of light, they teleported back to the Command Center.
12 Grimmauld Place
Harry stared out the window of 12 Grimmauld Place, his mind replaying the explosion of the Dragonzord. The ache in his chest felt as raw as it had on the shoreline. The loss of his powers was one thing, but the Dragonzord, his steadfast ally, was another. He'd barely registered Sirius calling his name until the older man laid a hand on his shoulder.
"Ready to go, kiddo?" Sirius asked gently.
Harry nodded, pulling himself from his thoughts. "Yeah, let's get it over with."
Ron and Hermione were already waiting by the fireplace, chattering excitedly about school supplies and the start of the new year. Harry gave them a faint smile, though his heart wasn't in it. A moment later, they were engulfed in green flames, stepping into the bustling heart of Diagon Alley.
Diagon Alley
The cobblestone streets were alive with witches and wizards flitting from shop to shop, their robes swirling in the warm summer breeze. Harry walked slightly behind the others, his eyes scanning the familiar storefronts without much interest.
As they passed Flourish and Blotts, a voice as slick as oil cut through the chatter around them.
"Well, well. Harry Potter, out in public after all the lies you and Dumbledore have been spreading."
Lucius Malfoy stood a few feet away, his silver-tipped cane resting on the ground as he smirked. Narcissa stood beside him, her expression cool and detached.
Sirius bristled instantly, stepping forward with his wand hand twitching. "Malfoy —"
But Harry raised a hand, stopping him. His green eyes locked onto Lucius with a quiet intensity.
"I've heard Voldemort is looking for Master Vile." Harry's voice was steady, his tone casual yet cutting. "You should tell him not to bother. I drove my sword through Master Vile's chest and destroyed him." He stepped closer, his voice dropping just slightly. "And I'll do the same to Voldemort the next time I see him. How's his wand arm, by the way?"
Lucius' pale face twisted in a mix of fury and apprehension, but he said nothing. With a sneer, he turned on his heel and strode away, Narcissa following silently.
The silence that followed was broken by Hermione. "Harry, that was —"
"Brilliant!" Ron exclaimed, his face alight with admiration. "The way you just shut him down! And who's Master Vile?"
Harry glanced at Ron briefly but didn't answer.
Hermione crossed her arms, looking both impressed and exasperated. "You didn't have to be so blunt, Harry."
"Why not?" Harry replied, his tone neutral.
Sirius chuckled softly, shaking his head. "You're supposed to be the level-headed one, remember?"
"I am." Harry quipped, a faint smile tugging at his lips. "I didn't try to duel him, did I?"
As Ron and Hermione disappeared into Flourish and Blotts to gather their books, Sirius and Harry wandered aimlessly through the bustling street. Harry's eyes wandered to a display of gleaming brooms outside Quality Quidditch Supplies. The latest models hovered gently, their polished handles catching the sunlight.
"See anything you like?" Sirius asked, noticing Harry's gaze linger.
Harry smiled faintly. "Thanks, but I resigned from the team back in third year. Being a Power Ranger took up too much time."
Sirius raised an eyebrow. "Well, your powers are gone now. Maybe it's time to pick it back up."
"Maybe." Harry said with a shrug, though his tone was noncommittal.
As they admired the brooms, a sudden tap on Harry's shoulder made him turn sharply.
"Boo!"
Harry jumped, spinning to face Fleur Delacour. Her silvery hair shimmered in the sunlight, and her blue eyes sparkled with amusement. "You scare too easily, 'Arry."
"Fleur," Harry said, smiling despite himself. "I wasn't expecting to see you here."
Fleur grinned. "I work 'ere now, at Gringotts. I 'ave met your friend Ron's brother, Bill. A very… 'andsome man." Her cheeks tinged pink as she spoke.
Harry caught the blush and fought the urge to smile knowingly. Sirius, however, didn't hold back, raising an eyebrow with an amused look.
"It's good to see you." Harry said, steering the conversation back. "How's Gringotts treating you?"
"Busy," Fleur admitted, brushing a strand of hair from her face. "But rewarding. And you? How 'ave you been?"
Harry hesitated. "It's been… eventful."
Fleur's expression softened, as though she sensed the weight behind his words. "We must catch up properly sometime, non?"
Harry nodded politely. "Of course."
With a dazzling smile, Fleur bid them goodbye and disappeared into the crowd.
As they watched her leave, Sirius turned to Harry, grinning like a cheshire cat. "She's a Veela, you know."
"I know."
"So, why don't you ask her out?"
Harry shot Sirius a flat look. "You heard the same conversation that I did."
Sirius laughed, clapping Harry on the shoulder. "Fair enough, kiddo. But you might want to keep an eye on that Bill Weasley."
Harry shook his head, his faint smile returning. "You're impossible."
Together, they continued down the bustling streets of Diagon Alley, the weight on Harry's shoulders feeling just a little lighter.
Angel Grove
The last day of summer break had started out peacefully for Harry, a day spent surrounded by his friends in Angel Grove. The team had insisted on making the most of their time together with a picnic by the beach, swimming in the lake, and just enjoying the rare lull in battles. Though Harry felt at home with them, a pang of longing stirred in his chest. He couldn't help but miss being part of their fight, even if his powers were gone.
His sacrifice had saved Billy, and for that, he'd never regret giving up the last remnants of his power. Still, knowing that the Machine Empire continued to threaten Earth while he returned to Hogwarts left him feeling torn. The Power Rangers spoke animatedly, catching him up on recent events. Harry learned the identity of the Gold Ranger, Trey, a Triforian who had been instrumental in repelling the Machine Empire's forces. Harry listened intently, soaking in the tales of heroism and camaraderie as they lounged on the beach under the fading light of the afternoon sun.
As they began to pack up, laughter and warmth filled the air. It was a perfect moment, one Harry wished could last forever. But perfection, he'd learned, never did.
A streak of gold shot across the horizon, crashing into the ocean with a thunderous splash. All seven of them froze, eyes locked on the point of impact. Without hesitation, they abandoned their belongings and raced toward the water. Waves lapped violently as Harry and Tommy waded in, scanning the surface.
"Over there!" Tommy shouted, pointing to a glimmer of gold beneath the waves. Together, they dove, pulling the unconscious figure to shore. As they laid him on the sand, Harry's breath caught. Trey, the Gold Ranger, demorphed before their eyes. His injuries were severe, golden energy crackled faintly around him like a fading ember, and blood trickled from the corner of his mouth. Clutched tightly in his hand was the Golden Power Staff.
But then something impossible happened. Trey's body shimmered, splitting into three identical forms. The others gasped audibly, Katherine's hand flying to her mouth.
"There's three of you?" Rocky stammered.
One of the Treys struggled to lift his head, his voice weak but resolute. "Our essence is shared between three forms… but we are weakening."
Before anyone could respond, the ground began to tremble. The unmistakable mechanical clanking of Cogs filled the air as dozens of them materialized on the beach. And leading them was King Mondo himself, his massive metallic form glinting menacingly in the waning sunlight. The Power Rangers instinctively fell into defensive stances, their Morphers at the ready.
"Ah, Gold Ranger." King Mondo sneered, his voice a grating metallic echo. "How generous of you to bring the Golden Power Staff to me personally."
"You'll never have it." one of the Treys spat, clutching the staff tighter despite his visible agony.
"We'll see about that." King Mondo growled, raising his Machine Staff. "Cogs, attack!"
The Power Rangers shouted their Morphing calls in unison, transforming into their Power Ranger armor. Energy surged as they charged into battle, clashing with the oncoming horde. Harry, unarmed and without powers, remained by the Treys, determined to protect them. He dodged incoming Cogs, using his agility and resourcefulness to keep them at bay, but the sheer numbers were overwhelming.
King Mondo himself strode forward, towering over Harry and the weakened Treys. With a single swing of his Machine Staff, he sent Harry flying backward, the impact knocking the wind out of him. Gasping for air, Harry scrambled to his feet, his eyes darting to the Treys as King Mondo loomed over them.
"Hand over the staff, or I'll tear it from your cold, lifeless hands," Mondo threatened.
"Never." one of the Treys rasped.
With a roar of frustration, King Mondo lunged, plunging his Machine Staff into the chest of one of the Treys. Golden energy exploded outward, mingling with a horrifying spray of crimson. The other two Treys screamed in unison, clutching their chests as blood dripped from their mouths. The dying Trey collapsed, his body dissolving into shimmering particles, leaving only the remaining two, who were now visibly weaker.
Harry's vision blurred with rage and horror. He'd seen death before, but this… this was a slaughter. His fists clenched as he fought to steady his breathing, his mind racing. The remaining Trey holding the Golden Power Staff turned to Harry, his movements labored and desperate.
"Red Ranger…" he gasped, extending the staff toward him. "The power… is yours now. Protect… this world."
"No," Harry said, shaking his head, his voice trembling. "I can't… I —"
"You must." Trey insisted, blood dripping from his lips. "The Earth… It needs you."
With the last of his strength, Trey hurled the Golden Power Staff to Harry. As soon as it left his hands, his body began to disintegrate, golden particles scattering into the wind. The final Trey's eyes locked with Harry's, a silent plea shining through the pain before he, too, vanished in an eruption of golden light.
The staff landed at Harry's feet, glowing with an almost sentient energy. Harry stared at it, his heart pounding. He didn't want this. But the echoes of Trey's final words resounded in his mind.
"The Earth needs you."
Harry reached down, his fingers curling around the staff. A surge of power shot through him, unlike anything he'd felt before. It was overwhelming, consuming, and yet, it felt right. He rose to his feet, the staff glowing brilliantly in his grasp. Golden light enveloped him, transforming his clothes into the ornate armor of the Gold Ranger.
King Mondo turned, his mechanical eyes narrowing. "So, the child thinks he can wield the power of the Gold Ranger?" he sneered. "Let's see how long you last."
The Gold Ranger didn't respond. He charged forward, the Golden Power Staff crackling with energy. King Mondo swung his Machine Staff, but the Gold Ranger parried it with a force that sent sparks flying. The beach became their battleground, each clash of their weapons shaking the ground. Harry moved with a precision and strength he didn't know he possessed, the power of the staff guiding his every action.
The other Power Rangers fought off the remaining Cogs with renewed determination.
The Gold Ranger and King Mondo's duel reached its peak, golden and metallic energy colliding in blinding flashes. Harry spun the staff, delivering a powerful strike to King Mondo's chest, causing the Machine Emperor to stumble. Seizing the moment, the Gold Ranger unleashed a devastating blast of golden energy, sending King Mondo hurtling backward.
King Mondo struggled to rise, his armor cracked and sparking. He glared at Harry with a mix of fury and fear.
"This isn't over." Mondo growled before teleporting away in a burst of light, taking the remaining Cogs with him.
As the battlefield fell silent, the Gold Ranger stood amidst the carnage, the Golden Power Staff still glowing in his hand. The other Power Rangers approached, their expressions a mix of awe and relief.
"Harry." Zeo Ranger V Red said, stepping forward. "That was incredible."
The Gold Ranger looked down at the staff, then at the spot where Trey had fallen.
