NEW CHARACTER!

~ Porco ~

Requests are open for scenarios if anyone wants to suggest any :)

I hope you guys like the new layout I did for this chapter. The plan is to go back and edit everything up to this point to fit this new layout. I like writing short mini-stories for each section.

Disclaimer: Attack on Titan does not belong to me, I only own the OC - whom I have now named Lyla! - and the mini-stories for each scenario (I will edit the chapters eventually and add the name then). The cover image does not belong to me as I found it via Google Images and edited it myself.

~ oOo ~

WHEN YOU FIRST MEET

One bright sunny day, you decided to take a walk through Liberio and headed straight towards the port. You loved looking out towards the ocean, the sea breeze blowing your hair, the smell and sound of the waves calming. As you made it towards your normal spot, you noticed someone sitting at the edge of the old fishing pier, a young male, probably close to your age. Walking closer, you could tell the boy was crying.

"Excuse me…are you ok…?"

Jumping slightly, the boy sat straighter, hastily clearing his face as he only slightly turned his face back towards you. "I don't know who you are but leave me the hell alone." Ignoring his statement, you closed the gap between him to steal the seat next to his side and sat down. "H-Hey! What the hell…?!"

"I came here to think, this is my spot. You think I'm gonna walk away just because you told me to?"

"Tch," the boy seethed, completely turning his head away from you.

Throwing your legs over the wooden edge, your toes barely touched the water as you stared at the open expanse, wondering what was out there. You'd heard of the 'island of devils' that was out there, always wondering what made them devils. If they were Eldian just like you, what made them so different? Casting a glance at the boy, you could see his eyes staring at you through his peripherals, but when he noticed your gaze, he peered away, focusing back on the ocean before him.

Swallowing, you said, "I don't know what's bothering you, but I hope everything is all right. I don't like seeing people cry."

"Why do you care?" He snapped. "You don't know me and I don't know you."

You shrugged your shoulders. "I'm Lyla," you suddenly said.

The boy tensed as he turned towards you. "What?"

"That's my name," you smiled. "You said you didn't know me, well, now you can."

"Tch, yeah whatever." Silence fell upon you both. What you thought felt like forever had only been several minutes when the boy moved his head in your direction. "…I'm Porco," he finally said.

Smiling more, you twisted around until you were facing him. "It's nice to meet you, Porco."

"It's nice to meet you too." Watching you carefully, he didn't copy your movement, but he did speak again. "…my…brother left this morning."

"Your brother left? This morning…oh. Is he a Warrior?" Porco nodded, ever watching the sea. Turning back to face the water, you scooted closer, placing your hand over his which lay on his thigh. "I'm very sorry to hear that. But, if he was chosen to be a Warrior, then he must be strong, right? He'll come back to you, don't worry."

"How do you know?"

"I don't, but sometimes…we need a little hope to get us through the day."

"…hey, Lyla?"

"Yeah?"

"You're…kinda weird."

His words caused you to chuckle, your smile brightening when you felt his fingers clench tightly around yours. "Heh, speak for yourself. Takes one to know one."

WHEN THEY DON'T GET ANY SLEEP

"Porco! Watch out!"

Since meeting each other randomly, Porco had been teaching you basic fighting maneuvers as you weren't part of the Warrior Program. He wanted you to be able to take care of yourself whenever he was called away for duty on behalf of the Marley Army. Currently, you two were in an open field far enough away from the city where you had the space and privacy to practice. You'd noticed Porco hadn't been acting his normal self all afternoon and when your fist landed directly against his cheek, you knew something was up.

Falling to the ground, Porco groaned, holding his cheek as you dropped to your knees. Pulling his hand away, you noticed the swelling of his skin as it was plastered red. With a shake of your head, you calmly stated, "What is up with you today? It's like you're here, but not really here."

Moving into a sitting position, he rubbed his face, hand dropping into his lap when a yawn escaped past his lips. "Sorry Lyla, I'm just…not sleeping lately."

Quirking your head, that's when you noticed. His eyes were slightly red with dark circles under both eyes. "How long has this been going on?"

Staring at you through his peripheral, he said, "…a few weeks."

"And you didn't say anything?" He shook his head. "Why not? What's going on?"

"N-Nothing," was his immediate reply. "Just going through a phase, I think."

"A phase, huh?" You weren't convinced. Maneuvering your body until it lay flat against the grass, you pulled Porco and forced his body to adjust its position until he lay his head in your lap.

"W-What?!" Quickly trying to sit up, you yanked his shoulder back down, instantly running your fingers through his hair. Though you wanted to chuckle, you withheld from doing so as Porco released a hefty moan. Fingernails scratching his scalp, you kept your movements slow, calming. After a few quiet moments, he called your name. "…Lyla?"

"Shhh, just get some rest, we're not going anywhere for a while." Knowing he shouldn't go against you when you ordered him around, Porco curled onto his side, all tension melting from his body as you began humming a soft tune.

He was out within seconds.

WHEN THEY GIVE YOU RANDOM KISSES

Now having joined the Eldian section of the Marley army, you could enjoy the massive library on base whenever you had free time. Considering you were good friends with Porco, you were granted certain privileges by Magath who'd grown to like you, all things considering. Holding yourself against the ladder, your outstretched arm barely touching the specific book just outside your reach. Being stubborn and not wanting to climb down the ladder just to move several inches to the right, you placed your entire weight onto one foot, gripping the wooden edges tightly as you extended your frame. Your fingers were able to now grasp the spine of the book, eyes brightening upon realizing you could take it from its assigned place. Just as you were removing the book from its tightened place, one of your feet slipped off the ladder, causing your body to fling forward against the bookcase only then to fall backward.

"LYLA!"

Having met warmth instead of crashing into the hardened flooring, you slowly opened your eyes to see Porco staring uneasily at you.

"What'd you think you were doing?!"

Having placed you on your feet, you stared upward as he grasped your shoulders. "I-I was just trying to get one of the books down." You pointed up for emphasis.

Rubbing the back of his neck, Porco said, "Tch, next time could you be a little more careful?"

Your head fell to cover the redness of your cheeks, and you muttered, "…sorry, I'll be careful next time."

Groaning, Porco noticed your facade, and lifted your head with his fingers, staring aimlessly into your eyes. Without saying anything, Porco dropped his face down and kissed your cloth-covered shoulder.

"…Porco?"

Shaking his head slowly, Porco said, "I'm sorry," he said quietly. "I just…got scared when I saw you fall. I don't like to see you hurt…"

Wrapping your arms around his waist, you curled into his chest, smiling. "Then I promise I'll be more careful next time."

WHEN HE WALKS IN ON YOU IN A TOWEL

Stepping out of the shower, you quickly dried off before wrapping a fluffy towel around yourself. Making your way from the shower cubicle to the sink/changing area of the private stall, you took the towel, bent forward, and attempted to hastily dry your hair. As you were shaking the material around your head, you didn't hear the click of the door until -

"Yo Lyla, you done yet? Let's go get some lunch, I'm hungry!"

Screeching, you straightened, barely molding the towel to your body as you moved away from the door as Porco stepped inside. Eyes finding yours, his trailed from your face, down the length of your body, then swiftly flew back to your eyes. Red coated his cheeks as his mouth fell open.

"I-I-I…!"

"Dammit, Porco can't you see I'm not ready yet?!"

"W-Well I can see that NOW!"

"Then get out!"

The man smirked and then chuckled. "Can't babe," he said smugly.

Tightly holding the towel around your body, you felt the coolness of the door against your back. "And why can't you?"

"Because," Porco opened his arms wide open as he stepped forward. "I've never gotten a hug from you like this." Your fist landed directly against his nose.

"You fucking jerk!"

WHEN HE SEES YOU CRY

"…Lyla?"

Upon hearing your name, your back tensed, uncurling from its bent-over position. Sitting at your usual spot on the small fishing dock, you tried to clear your face of any lingering tears. Porco called your name again and took the seat beside you, eyes widening when he saw your face.

"Hey…" he called softly. "What's goin' on…?"

Head shaking you muttered, "It's nothing important."

"…you sure about that?" You nodded, only staring across the darkened sea as the sun had set long before Porco found you. He wrapped an arm around your shoulder when you still didn't say anything, pulling you close to him. "So…I saw you fighting against Magath today. Wanna tell me what that was about?" Shaking your head no, you didn't want to say anything until Porco kissed the side of your head. Moving strands of hair out of your eyes, he said softly, "Come on, you know you can talk to me. What happened."

Several moments passed before you heaved a sigh, leaning against his shoulder. "…I don't want to upset you."

"Upset me? Why would I be upset?"

"…because Magath and I were fighting about you."

Confused Porco raised an eyebrow. You nodded when he asked, "Me? What about me?" Nudging your shoulder, you stole a peek through your peripheral before sighing heavily.

"Magath, he…I-I overheard him talking to another soldier talking about you a-and that he…" More tears fell with Porco clearing them away. "He was wondering why they were even keeping you around since you weren't chosen as a Warrior…" Stealing a peek at him, you were surprised to see Porco merely staring, waiting for you to finish your story. "Running up to him, first I started arguing that you were a brilliant fighter and that you were respected among the recruits. He countered that you had been slacking, leaving them to think you didn't care about the Marleyan's cause anymore and that they should discharge you. I then, w-well, I smacked him on the arm and started screaming that you were the best soldier they had in their army, better than any Marley soldier who was fighting for the cause with all their heart. Magath he, he then laughed in my face but I smacked him again, asking how he'd feel if his only brother left to go to the island of devils, not knowing how long he'd be there. And-And what about the fact that your brother only has thirteen years to live because he's a titan and what if he comes back?! Fucking shit I was getting so mad that I just had to leave and - "

Your rant fell silent.

Porco captured your lips, silencing whatever else you had to say. Falling into his embrace, your tears still fell. Some from anger, others from fearing Porco would be leaving the army. Pulling himself away only to bop your nose with his the man smiled, a completely different expression than what you thought you'd receive.

"You're…not mad at me?"

"Never," he kissed your head. "Hell, not only did you scream at Magath, you fucking hit him too."

You sniffled. "I had to…he was talking bad about you and I didn't appreciate it."

"I know," Porco said softly. Grasping your chin, he lifted your face to drop another kiss on your luscious lips. "I'll handle Magaath, you don't worry about a thing, ok?"

"…ok."

WHEN HE GIVES YOU A NICKNAME

On a day you were finally free from training, Porco surprised you at home with a woven basket, politely demanding you join him for a picnic. An hour later the two of you were relaxing beneath the shade of a large tree, having consumed a wonderful handmade lunch of simple sandwiches - Porco's specialty. His hands were running through your hair as you each sat in comfortable silence.

"Lyla…?"

"Hmm?"

"…I think you need a nickname."

Lifting your eyes to meet his, you could tell he was serious. "Heh, ok, where'd this come from all of a sudden?"

Cheeks turning bright red, Porco cast his head away. "B-Because! You're important to me, a-and I thought…you deserved for me to call you something special…"

Chuckling lightly, you lifted yourself from laying down, curling into Porco's body with an arm wrapping over your shoulder. "I think that's a perfect reason. What'd you have in mind?"

"Well, I've been thinking of a few, but…I'm not sure if you would like them. E-Especially because there's one I really, really like."

"Ok, then what's the one you like?" You asked.

Blushing more, Porco leaned closer to your ear as he kissed your cheek. "…Bunny."

This caused you to giggle. "Bunny?"

"Ugh, I knew I shouldn't have said anything!" He moved to stand but you quickly grabbed his wrist to keep him by your side.

"No, no, it's wonderful! I think it's super cute and adorable!" Leaning upwards, you kissed his cheek, loving the way Porco's frown turned upside down.

"Heh, yeah, well…you only deserve the best, Lyla."

WHEN YOU CONFESS TO EACH OTHER

It had been almost a year to the day since Porco's brother had left for the devil island. During that time, you had joined the Marleyan army, impressing Magaath with your natural skills. Seeing your comfortable nature with the four children now part of the Warrior Program, Magaath placed you and Porco at the head of watching over them. Since then, you trained with the other soldier, Porco, and the children, honing both your skills with close combat fighting and your gun.

You and Porco had grown especially close. Having spent nearly every day together since meeting him on your special dock, you two were night inseparable. You trained together, at meals together, and did your shopping tougher. Hell, you've even fallen asleep at his house, considering his parents had now essentially adopted you. Becoming the best of friends wouldn't quite describe the relationship the two of you had. You weren't sure what Porco felt, but you felt much, much closer. Though the two of you shared everything, there was one secret you had yet to share with Porco. It was something you felt would ruin the friendship you shared and you'd be damned to ruin what you two held.

You developed a crush on Porco Galliard.

No, it wasn't a crush. You were deeply in love with the man.

What didn't you love about the man? He was brazen and blunt but he loved wholeheartedly. He cherished his parents and loved his brother deeply, despite having been gone for a year on that island. Porco was a man of both few and many words. His unique haircut and that bomber jacket he wore suited him well. Just thinking of the man sent your heart into a series of consecutive thumps. But still, you would never tell him. It would be your secret until the end.

Exactly a year later on the day you met Porco, you returned home from shopping and entered your kitchen to find a single red rose in the center of your dining table with a white envelope beside it. You smirked. Months earlier you had moved out of your abusive relatives' house into your own apartment; meaning, no one else had a key, save for one individual. Grinning from ear to ear, you set the bags down to grasp the flower, inhaling its decadent scent. Picking the envelope next, you pulled out the note yo find the familiar handwriting. Reading the contents, it said:

Lyla,

At 5:30 exactly, please meet me at our dock. I would greatly appreciate it if you wear the floral dress, you know the one. I will wait for you there.

Porco

Reading the note several times, you couldn't help but smile. What was Porco planning and why did he want you to wear the floral dress he favored over everything else you owned? Gasping, you glanced at the clock, realizing you only had a little over thirty-minutes until you were supposed to meet him. Leaving everything on the dining table you dashed to your bedroom, changing into Porco's favorite dress in record time. Dress on and hair up, you dashed through your door, maneuvering yourself through the city as quickly as you could without ruining your attire.

It took a bit of time but you had finally meandered from the edge of the city to the seaside, making your way to your spot, which had now become the spot you shared with Porco. Upon making the last turn, you finally made it and as you glanced to the end of the dock, the sun had gradually started to set, colorfully embracing Porco's silhouette at the end.

Swallowing the lump in your throat, you stepped forward. The clink of your shoes was loud enough for the man to hear as he peered over his shoulder. As you walked closer, Porco fully turned to reveal himself. He had swapped his bomber jacket for a crisp button-up, the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and a small bouquet of multiple colored roses in his hand. His calm, stoic facade changed into a peaceful expression as his smile slowly grew wide.

Standing before him, you stopped, your own smile wide, not quite sure what to say. Porco visibly swallowed, his mouth opening and closing several times before he was able to say, Lyla, you look…so beautiful."

A soft giggle escaped as heat coated your cheeks. "T-Thank you, Porco. You don't look so bad yourself."

It was now his turn for his cheeks to turn pink. "This? Oh, w-well, I wanted to dress up for you."

"Me?" You asked incredulously. "Whatever for?" Withholding from answering your question, Porco sheepishly held his hand out, extending the small bouquet toward you. Bringing the flowers to your nose, you inhaled, remembering the single rose on your dining table at home. "These smell wonderful, Porco. What did I do to deserve such a gift?"

"Because you deserve to have everything in this world, Lyla. And, I…
Porco took a step forward as he stared down at you, his eyes filled with something you had also been feeling. Cupping your cheek, the man leaned closer until your noses were touching. "Lyla, I want to be the one to give you everything."

Eyes widening, you barely remembered to breathe. "Porco, what…? What does this mean?"

Taking a deep breath, Porco then said, "It means…that I want you to be mine, Lyla. I…I like you Ly- no…" Shaking his head, the man cupped the other cheek, holding your face in his hands, lips barely grazing each other. "I'm in love with you, Lyla."

At that moment, you gasped, providing Porco the opportunity to fully drop his lips to yours. Frozen in disbelief, you merely stood there. Barely a few seconds passed when Porco pulled back, dropping his hands as he covered his mouth, red continued to coat his cheeks.

"P-Porco, I…"

"I'm sorry, Lyla, I shouldn't have said anything. I didn't want to ruin the friendship we have but…I've loved you for so long that I had to say something." Stealing a quick glance down at you, Porco then diverted his eyes. "Arch," his eyes narrowed. "I should've known you wouldn't feel anything for me…"

"Porco…?" You tried to speak but he continued on.

"I'm a failed Warrior candidate, who would want anything to do with me anyways…?"

Porco."

"Lyla, please, just…forget this ever happened, ok? God damnit, I'm such a fucking idiot!"

"PORCO!"

Eyes wide down at you, Porco's expression grew to shock as you were the one to grasp his cheeks and pull him down to your level. Lips connecting, you wanted to show this man how you truly felt. Pushing your tongue forward, you licked his lips, asking for entrance with Porco immediately understanding. Your tongues brushed together, lips moving in sync as one. Beneath your hands, Porco released all tension, one hand finding your waist while the other gently clawed into your hair. Hands dropping from his cheeks, you then wrapped them around his neck, pulling the beautiful man closer. It was a few minutes later when you slowly pulled away, shyly glancing into each other's eyes. Porco was the first to speak.

"Lyla, what-what does this mean?"

"Oh, Porco…" Tugging the man down once more, you placed a gentle kiss upon his lips and then pulled your foreheads together. "I am in love with you too, Porco Galliard."

"Lyla," the man breathed. Hugging you close, Porco copied you as he kissed your cheek. "Thank you," he repeated several times. "Thank you."

WHEN THEY KISS YOU IN PUBLIC

It was a normal afternoon like any other day. Currently, you and Porco were training with the new Warrior candidates working on their hand-to-hand combat training. Gabi had been excelling in all areas of training with Udo, Zofia, and Falco following behind their comrade. Being there were four versus two, Porco suggested breaking the group in half. You were given Falco and Udo while Porco took Gabi and Zofia, leaving you to immediately begin their training. This day, you were surprised to see a change in Falco's persistence as he pushed you back several times, closely landing a hit near the face but never quite succeeding.

From his spar with Zofia, Porco occasionally glanced your way, fighting a smile as he tried ignoring your precise moves while keeping his attention on the tiny Warrior before him. He never relented, blocking all Zofia's attacks though she nearly decked him several times. She was just like Annie, preferring to use her feet to attack her opponent's legs.

Off on the sidelines, they had been watched by Magaath for some time, his booming voice finally called out to them after nearly two hours. "All right, bring it in rookies!"

Glancing at the Marleyan commander, you straightened your back, ready to turn your head towards Falco when a fist suddenly collided against your face, the momentum of the punch forcing your body to the ground. Landing with an "oomph!", you gazed upward to the sky, head spinning as those around you immediately ran to your side, Porco sliding beside you as he gently cupped your cheek.

"Lyla?! Lyla are you ok?!"

Humming in response, you grabbed his outstretched hand as he helped you to a sitting position. Grabbing your cheek, you winced, knowing a bruise was already forming.

"Lyla!" A younger voice caught your attention to see Falco on your opposite side, tears growing in the corner of his eyes. "I'm so sorry! I-I didn't mean to hit you that hard!"

Smiling, you ruffled the boy's hair, his friends snickering behind him. "Do not be sorry, young one. That's the whole purpose of this training. You caught me completely off guard and socked me good. I'd say this is a well-earned hit!"

"But…"

"No buts!" you chuckled.

Snickering as well, Magaath grabbed everyone's attention as he said, "All right everyone, let's take a thirty-minute break then reconvene."

The others trotted off as Porco helped you stand. A little woozy in your feet, Porco guided you to the closest seat, kneeling before you to inspect both your cheek and head. "How're you feeling?"

"Heh, as one typically feels after getting docked in the face."

Porco's thumb gently ran over the bruise already forming. Trailing his hand upward, he asked, "And your head? You landed on it pretty hard."

"Psh," you waved your hand at his comment. "My head's fine." It was then his hand trailed to the back, grazing a fairly sensitive spot as you winced, your immediate reply being, "Ouch!"

Snickering, Porco said smugly, "Tch, told you so."

"Hush, you." Lips pouting, you waited patiently as Porco examined your head. The damn thing was tender though thankfully you hadn't fallen so hard that you were bleeding.

Finished with his examination, Porco finally smiled down at your still pouty face. "No cuts, no bleeding…You'll be sore that's for damn sure, but I think you'll be fine."

"Is that your prognosis, doctor?"

"Yes, it is, my beautiful patient." Ignoring those around you, Porco tilted your chin upwards, softly claiming your lips in a quick but heated kiss.

Cheeks instantly turning red, you squealed though most of the sound was lost in your throat. "Porco! W-What're you doing?!"

"Tch, kissing my injured girlfriend, what does it look like?"

"But…Magaath a-a-and the kids! Won't they see?!"

Porco smiled that gorgeous smile of his. "Let them," he said quietly before kissing you once more. Knowing you couldn't resist, no matter how embarrassed you were, you cupped his cheek ever bringing him closer. It hadn't even been ten seconds when -

"Ewwwww! That's so gross!"

Quickly pulling away, you caught the four kids blatantly staring at you, eyes and mouths wide open. Falling into Porco's chest, you heaved a sigh as he curled both arms around you, his laughter escaping passed his mouth as a smile grew on your face.

WHEN YOU ARE SICK

It had only been several weeks since you and Porco confessed your love for one another. In that time, you two had slowly grown closer as a couple, not wanting to pursue each other too quickly in this new relationship. One particular early evening, Porco stopped by your apartment with a basket full of food on one arm and a blanket over the other, wanting to take you on an impromptu date. Ecstatic, you two traveled to the closest park, the warm, beautiful sun barely starting to set; though neither of you noticed the incoming storm clouds from the east.

Choosing a nice, cozy spot beside your usual tree, Porco laid out the blanket, having you sit first. You tried opening the basket to help but the man was adamant you did nothing while he provided everything. Pulling out items to create sandwiches, you both enjoyed a wonderful meal together, simply relaxing in the setting sun and each other's company. What you were oblivious to was the sudden clap of thunder and the onslaught of a downpour. Quickly throwing everything into the basket, Porco grabbed your hand as you both raced towards your apartment, which was closer than his. Completely drenched and dripping by the time you ran inside, the moment the door shut you two instantly began laughing, tears mixed with the raindrops still falling down your face.

Not wanting Porco to walk home in such weather, you told him that he was more than welcome to stay the night and that he could use the shower first. With the water running, you scavenged for some spare pajamas Porco could wear. Not long after, Porco stepped out with the towel wrapped measly around his waist, causing your face to turn bright red as you then entered the shower. When you were both clean and in dry clothes, you spent the rest of the night cuddling in your bed talking, eventually falling asleep in the warmth of the comforter.

Bright and early the next morning, Porco was the first to rise from slumber, lazily watching you still sleeping. Deciding to surprise you with breakfast, he clambered down the hall, excited to see your smiling face. Barely grabbing several items from the cupboard, Porco momentarily froze when he heard you cough down the hall. Pausing to hear any more, the man carried on, stopping once more when he heard you coughing again, but this time it was more like hacking.

Leaving the kitchen he trekked back to your room to find you curled into a tight ball, hand covering your mouth as you continued to cough away. "Lyla?" He called gently. He stepped forward, your eyes finding his when you were able to call your lungs. "Baby, are you feeling all right?" Your head shook, throat hurting too much to speak. Using the back of his hand, Porco placed it against your forehead, a sigh leaving his lips. "Fuck, you have a fever. How're you feeling besides the cough?"

Wincing as you swallowed, your voice was hoarse when you were finally able to answer. "My throat hurts and my body is sore."

Cupping your cheek, Porco stared lovingly into your eyes. "You must've gotten sick from the storm yesterday. Well, it's good we're off duty for the next few days, so I'm gonna stay and take care of you."

Head shaking, you immediately regret doing so for the pain in your head. "I can't ask you to do that," you barely croaked.

Kissing the top of your head, Porco snickered. "Then it's a good thing I'm not asking. So…are you hungry?" You slowly nodded your head. "Do you think you can handle some soup? The broth will help your throat."

"Mhm," you replied weakly.

Smirking, Porco said, "All right, give me some time and I'll make you the best soup ever."

Gently closing the door behind him, Porco headed straight into the kitchen to check the ingredients, thankful you had everything you needed. Boiling a pot of water, the man set out, cutting carrots and celery perfectly just for you and adding the broth. It took some time but when he finally had everything, Porco laid everything onto a serving tray and made his way back into your bedroom. The creak of the door caused you to startle, eyes opening to find your boyfriend by your side. With a tray placed on the nightstand, Porco held your hand, one placed gently on your back to help you sit up. Once in place, he handed you the soup then stopped, putting it back on the tray. Quickly grabbing a chair he sat as close as he could, keeping the bowl in his hands to feed you.

Grabbing a spoonful he lovingly blew the hot liquid, reaching forward for you to slurp. "All right take this slowly so you don't choke."

Just as he said, you slowly drank the liquid, the first bite causing your eyes to close with how delicious it was. At first, you thought it was a little silly for Porco to spoon-feed you but considering how sore your limbs were you realized you could barely lift your arm without being in pain. It took roughly fifteen minutes to consume the entire bowl though it did surprise Porco that you had consumed the entire bowl.

Placing it off to the side Porco felt your hand once more, frowning with how hot your skin was. "All right, I think you need some more sleep, that's the only thing that's gonna help you feel better. Do you need help laying down?"

Despite the pounding in your head, you nodded, taking hold of the man's hand as he gently brought you down against the warm sheets. Leaving your side for a moment and entering your bathroom, Porco returned with a cold, damp cloth, folding it perfectly and placing it against your forehead as it also covered your eyes. Kissing your head again, Porco gently said, "I"m gonna step out for a bit and grab some things. Do you need anything while I'm out?"

"…no," she replied with a dry voice.

"All right, I'll be back as soon as I can. Dropping another kiss to your head, Porco left, quickly making his way toward his home where he could gather a bag of clothes for the next few days and to water the already dying plants. He didn't have a green thumb but you had gifted them to him so he wanted to keep them alive as long as possible. Grabbing some items from the fridge, he had two bags stowed over his arm as he reeked the 20 minutes back to your apartment. Closing the door behind him, Porco made his way toward your bedroom, gently dropped his items by the door, then tenderly stepped toward your bed.

You had cocooned yourself in the blanket, your face barely visible as you had fallen into a deep sleep. Smiling to himself, he kissed the top of your head, lovingly stroking away strands of your hair.

WHEN THEY ARE SICK

It had been several days since you had suddenly become sick after being caught in an unexpected downpour. Porco had spent the first two days by your side before being required to return to work. Magaath had personally reached out, giving you an additional day before you were to return to work as well. During that time, you slept as much as you could and ate as much soup as possible, growing extremely tired of the chicken broth taste.

Nevertheless, you had returned to life as a soldier for the Marleyan army and a potential future Warrior candidate. You snuggled in your scarf as it had become significantly colder since the random rainstorm. Overall, you were feeling one hundred percent better despite a persistent cough that would not go away no matter what you did.

As you walked through the administrative section of headquarters, you were greeted by numerous people, all exclaiming how they were glad you were back and feeling better. Smiling, you waved, heading toward the office she shared with Porco. Upon entering, the man was sitting at his desk, standing the moment he saw you.

Arms wrapped tightly around you left you smiling. "Hey, cutie. How're you feeling?"

"A lot better, all thanks to you." Standing on your toes, you kissed his cheek.

Moving toward your desk, Porco held his hand out to the stack of papers waiting patiently for you to complete. As you took a seat, you examined the papers, some needed a signature, though most required your input and commentary. Rubbing the back of his neck, Porco then said, "I tried to do as much of your paperwork as I could but Magaath soon caught on and told me to focus on my work."

"Oh, Porco…" Grabbing his hand, you smiled even more. "You did not have to do that."

"No, but I wanted to," he replied, seemingly embarrassed. Kissing his hand, you grabbed the closest pen, knowing you needed to get a head start on this pile of papers. As he claimed his seat at the desk opposite of yours, the Warrior candidate spoke again. "Oh…Magaath did stop by before you got here. He wants us to monitor the young ones after lunch for their training."

Nodding in understanding, you set to work. Here and there people stepped inside to speak with either you or Porco, mainly the latter. Eventually, Porco was summoned to a meeting, leaving you by yourself. Considering all the work you needed to get caught up on, you were all right with being left alone and, at the moment, preferred it. Through the window, you could see the sun gradually rise and by the time lunch was near, you had surprisingly made it through more than half the stack.

"Lyla?" Hearing your name, you glanced up to the door noticing Porco as he held a tray in his hands. "You hungry?"

Setting the pen aside, you could feel your stomach growl with hunger.

Nodding, Porco set out the tray on the desk, reclaiming his seat as he pulled the chair next to yours. Arms reaching to grab your sandwich, you acknowledged Porco's lack of food. "What's this? You not hungry?"

Head shaking, Porco replied, "Nah, not feeling hungry."

"You sure?" The man nodded but you weren't convinced as the man laid his head down upon his folded arms. "Porco…you've been a little sluggish today, are you feeling ok?" When he didn't say anything, your gut was screaming that something was wrong. Placing a hand over his forehead, Porco didn't flinch. His eyes weakly found yours as you said, "Sweetie, you're burning up!"

"…probably…" he said nonchalantly.

"Why haven't you said anything?" Dropping your sandwich, you took a closer look at your boyfriend, able to see the tiredness in his eyes, the hollowness in his cheeks, even the sweat clinging to his forehead. "Porco…are you sick…?"

"I can't be sick there's too much around here I need to take care of."

"That's no excuse and you didn't answer my question."

Sitting straighter, he ran a hand down his face. "No, I'm not sick, Lyla…" Moving to stand, Porco quickly reclaimed his seat as a hand immediately moved to cover his mouth. Assuming what was about to happen you shoved your trash can into Porco's hands, instantly grabbing the bin, shoving his face inside. Whatever contents were inside his stomach were released as he threw up any and everything his body needed to purge. Jumping to your feet, your hands found Porco's back, rubbing soothing circles across his shirt. Porco kept his head low for several moments, reaching for your napkin the moment his body could relax.

Once he felt better, Porco lifted his head, weakly stating, "Lyla…I think I'm sick…"

"I know, sweetheart."

"…I think I need to go home."

"Let me go find Magaath."

Quickly meandering down the halls you soon found the Marleyan Commander. Explaining the situation at hand, the Commander followed you back to your shared office, immediately noting something was off with the eldest candidate. Using the back of his hand, Magaath exclaimed the same as you that Porco, for sure, was suffering from a fever. Explaining how he fell ill before you sought after the Commander, Magaath's response was to give the both of you the rest of the week off, ordering you specifically to take him home and to watch over him.

Hailing a taxi, you soon found yourself in Porco's apartment, the man's arm wrapped over your shoulder as you kept him steady on his feet. Making sure the man at least removed his jacket and pants you helped the man climb into his bed, pulling the blankets over his body. Soaking a rag, you wrung the excess water out of the cloth until it was damp, folding it, and then gently placing the rag on Porco's burning face.

When he had finally calmed, you gently crushed Porco's fringe out of his eyes. "Sweetheart…why didn't you say you weren't feeling well/"

He merely blinked. "It's just…you were sick, it started getting busy at work and then today was your first day back."

"Porco…" Kissing his head, you smiled lovingly at the man. This man had such a rough exterior for others but he was the sweetest man when he was with you.

Trying to nudge away from you Porco whined. "No…don't kiss me you'll get sick again."

"No I won't sweetheart, it's already out of my system. Besides, it's my turn to take care of you now."

"No, you don't have to, Lyla, you've got enough to do at work…" He started to cough, his hand covering his mouth as you laughed.

"Psh, don't worry about that. My orders came straight from Magaath to take care of you so that is exactly what I shall do."

Eyes rolling, Porco muttered, "Why would you waste your time taking care of me?"

Dropping a kiss on his head, you chuckled. "Because you took care of me, you dummy. And I love you, so of course I'd hate seeing you feel like shit. Now…are you hungry? Or do you wanna sleep?"

His answer before speaking was to snuggle deeper into the blanket. "…sleep," was his quiet reply.

"Then sleep as much as you want, handsome. I'm gonna run home and grab some clothes then be right back."

You moved to stand when Porco reached out. "You'll come back, right…?"

You nodded and smiled. "Of course, I will, handsome. Now you just get some sleep and I'll be here when you wake up." Kissing his hand again, you moved to the door, snorting at the realization that the man was already asleep. "Good…he deserves it."

WHEN YOU WAKE UP FROM A NIGHTMARE

Shaking with sweat trickling down your face, your eyes shot open, your body immediately straightening as you searched around the room. Sensing you move beside him, Porco rolled over, clearing his eyes of sleep as he gazed at you through the darkness.

"…Lyla?" He called your name but when you didn't reply, he turned over, switched the nightstand lamp on, and sat upward. His hand reached for yours, only to notice you were shaking."Lyla?"

Your head turned in his direction, you whimpered upon seeing his beautiful face. With a clear view of your face, Porco could now make out the tears falling down your cheeks. Cupping your face, Porco opened his mouth to speak when you suddenly crumbled into yourself, sobs echoing across the room.

"Lyla?!" He cried your name, pulling you directly against his chest to try and bring you comfort. Several minutes passed and your cries gradually slowed. Several more moments floated by when your cries subsided altogether, leaving Porco confused as he swore he could hear you chuckling.

"I-I'm sorry, P-Porco."

What he had heard was correct in that, though you were still somewhat crying, you were laughing as well. Stroking your hair, the man nudged you away slightly, admiring the redness in your cheeks as he removed the last few tears. "Lyla, I just need you to tell me what's going on."

Sniffling, she said, "I-I had a really bad nightmare that scared me at first but…as I kept crying, for some reason my thoughts turned to you…"

"And…? Well, I am sorry about the nightmare bunny, but…what made you laugh?"

"You," she said curtly.

"Me?" Porco's eyebrows rose. How did I…I mean, you're welcome, I guess? What did I do specifically?"

Leaning backward, you cleared your face, using your shirt to rub away any lingering tears and snot. "One moment I'm seeing you in my dream and you're being eaten, and next, well…" You stared up at him, a small smile forming on your lips. "Next you're suddenly turning into a frog with your jacket and haircut." Chuckling from your statement and Porco's face, you had your mouth behind a hand.

Caught completely off guard, Porco could only smile, arms wrapping tightly around you, kissing your temple. "Well, can't say that's what I expected to hear at…" He glanced at the clock. "…four n the morning but if it helped, then I'm glad. Now…" Dragging you back down against the mattress, Porco curled his arms around you, holding you indefinitely against his frame. "We only have a few more hours before we need to get up so let's get some sleep." Sensing you were about to speak, he continued with, "Nope, no more nightmares for you, bunny."

"Are you sure?" You asked meekly.

"I am sure," he squeezed you tighter, kissing the top of your head. "Besides, even if you do have another bad dream, Frog Porco will come and save you."

It took the man roughly ten minutes to calm you down after that.

WHEN YOU HAVE A FIGHT

It had been a normal day, filled with normal paperwork, normal meetings, and normal training. Everything seemed to be going fine as you and Porco had just returned from the lunchroom. Sitting at your respective desks, you opened the bad you made yourself last night, instantly digging into the delicious sandwich. Mouth full you glanced at Porco to see him merely staring into his bag.

Swallowing, you called out to him across the room. "Porco? Sweetie, are you ok?" The man grunted, seemingly more interested to stare into his lunch bag than answering. Shrugging, you began consuming the rest of your sandwich including other parts of your meal.

"Lyla."

His one word wasn't kind and you knew something was amiss. Swallowing your most recent bite, you tilted your head. "What's up?"

"You packed your lunch, right?"

Confused, you glanced down at your meal, then the bag that had your name written across the side in bold letters. In your silence, Porco had finally removed the items from inside his bag as he glared you down from across the room. "I did? Why do you ask?"

"Because you didn't pack the lunch I specifically asked for."

Dropping the remainder of your sandwich on the table, you returned the same glare to him, not appreciating both his tone and words. "What do you mean 'the lunch you specifically asked for'?"

"You heard me, didn't you?!" Porco snapped.

Taken back, you stared down at your food, seemingly losing interest in filling your stomach by the second. "Porco…I don't understand what you're getting on about, but - "

"You don't get it? I asked for a beef sandwich so I could eat that for lunch today, and it's not in here! Nothing I wanted in my lunch is in here! Did you even listen to me last night? Do you even fucking care about me at all?!"

Having had enough, you slammed your hands onto the desk. Standing, you huffed, tears growing in the corners of your eyes, several even falling onto your food. The chair screeching against the wooden floor was enough inclination for Porco to close his mouth, even going so far as to sink slightly into his chair as you lifted your hardened gaze to meet his. "How dare you…how fucking dare you, Poor Galliard!" Kicking your chair behind you until it slammed against the wall, you slowly walked towards Porco, scaring the man as he sunk into his chair. "I didn't have to make your lunch last night! I didn't have to call and ask what you specifically wanted so I could try and make your day. I knew today was going to be hard with all the meetings you had on your schedule."

Slamming your hands against Porco's, he stared up at you with wide, fearful eyes. "Lyla, I-I'm sorry…!"

"Oh don't even fucking try!" Tears falling more onto his desk, you removed your hands, staring down at the wooden floor. Refusing to speak anymore, you spared Porco one last hardened glance before removing yourself from the room. You could hear Porco frantically call your name, even as you left the door wide open, his name entered your ears as you fled down the hall. Several people lined the halls, switching their gaze between the two of you, not sure what was going on or whether they should intervene. All you knew was that you did not want to be around the man named Porco Galliard.

WHEN YOU MAKE UP

Watching you leave his presence cut Porco more directly into his heart than anything else he had done. Porco knew he'd fucked up, knew the moment the words were out of his mouth that he had said something atrocious to the most important woman in his life. Knowing it was smart to give you some time to yourself, the man retreated inside the shared office, reclaiming the chair at his desk as he slumped down, and an angry growl released from his mouth.

Glancing upward from his position, Porco eyed the food you'd left on your desk. Seeing the same lunch pail you always brought your food in, he stared long and hard at your handwriting on the side where you had written your name in print, wanting to ensure that the other people within Headquarters knew that pail was yours and yours only. In the few weeks that you had started making Porco's lunch, which wasn't often, you had always placed his food in a brown lunch bag, always writing his name in cursive, always drawing hearts and flowers surrounding his name. Needing to see your handwriting, Porco grasped the bag, bringing it closer to his face as he twisted it around, nearly dropping the bag onto the desk as he released a pained groan.

The name on this bag was not Porco's.

He had fucking grabbed Zeke's lunch.

Tripping over his chair, Porco ran out of the room straight towards the break room, searching through the different fridges and cupboards, looking for his lunch. His specific lunch that you had made, specifically for his dumb ass. It took the man less than one minute to find the lunch you had packed that he was supposed to grab. Nearly tearing the bag open, Porco peered inside, instantly recognizing the same items you had always made for him and the beef sandwich that made him happy. Glancing toward the outside, the man smiled as he finally was able to see the flowers and hearts surrounding his name in cursive.

"Fucking shit…"

Dropping the bag on the counter, Porco fled, needing to find you, knowing exactly where you would be. Ignoring the cries of people behind him, Porco ran out of Headquarters and hailed a taxi, demanding the driver take him toward your spot on the secluded pier that had soon become the spot you shared with Porco.

At that moment, Porco feared you would not want to share it with him any longer.

If anything, the man did not blame you whatsoever.

Reaching the destination in record time, and paying the driver extra, Porco ran toward where you would be. Reaching the start of the dock, he could tell you were sitting at the edge of the dock, your short legs dangling above the water.

"Lyla!" He called your name.

Head turning just slightly he knew that you could hear him, Porco still ran forward, slowing his speed the moment he was a several-foot distance between you two.

"Lyla, I-I-I sorry!" Crying out his apology, Porco breathed heavily, not knowing whether you would accept or deny his words. The warrior candidate was split between thinking this was a stupid reason for you to potentially break up with him while, at the same time, believing you had full right to do so based on his treatment of you at that moment.

Back still toward him, you stood, continuing to face the ocean. The win trickled your face, having already dried your tears. You have reached this spot in pain, furious at what Porco had said to you, feeling as if you didn't want to be with the man if he was going to treat you in such a manner over something so trifle. But in that time between when you left and Porco just appearing, you didn't want to leave the man. He would have to severely apologize and explain his words, but you would not leave him. The man had been nothing but loving during your entire relationship and never took anything you did for granted.

Turning toward him, you cleared the remaining tears from your face. Porco tentatively took a step forward as you simply watched, wanting, needing the man close.

"Lyla, I am so unbelievably sorry. I had no right, no fucking right to yell or say what I said to you."

"Porco…" you tried to speak.

"No, please…" Gently taking hold of your shoulders, he bent down, lowering himself until you two were at eye level with one another. "After you left, I realized that I grabbed the wrong lunch and found the true one you made me in the break room. I'm completely at fault and had no right to say those fucking terrible things! Please…please!" Lowering his forehead to yours, Porco started to shake. He was about to speak once more when you wrapped your arms around his shoulders, bringing the man even closer.

"As long as you're sorry and can admit you made a stupid fucking mistake, I can forgive you."

Pulling away as he quickly glanced into your loving eyes, Porco was left stuttering. "W-Wha'? You forgive me? But why? How?! I don't deserve your forgiveness so quickly!"

"I can take my acceptance away and make you grovel on your hands and needs for my forgiveness."

"No, no!" Head shaking widely Porco placed his forehead back against yours. "Lyla, seriously…I'm sorry. Please don't think I take you for granted. I love that you consider what I want when you make me at lunch. And I know you care, oh, believe me, I know you care, and whether or not you make me lunch doesn't matter because you - "

Deciding to shut him up, you gently pulled the man in for a kiss. It didn't last long as the man had a lot more to prove he was sorry than an apology, but you already missed kissing the man. "Just…don't do it again, all right? Please?"

"Oh, bunny…" He kissed your head. "I'll make our lunches for the rest of the year and promise not to do it again."

WHEN YOU'RE ON YOUR PERIOD

It was Friday, the last workday of the week and it had been extremely long. You and Porco had made plans to spend the weekend together and you wanted nothing more than just that. You weren't expecting to wake up that morning to find you had started during the middle of the night. So, not only would your weekend plans have to change, you leaked all over the sheets and had to hand wash the blood out to forgo a potential stain. Because of that, you were late to work which meant you had no time to pull yourself together and prepare for the day. You felt lazy with your appearance. Add in the fact it was the first day of your period - which was always the worst - you were also late to work, which meant Magaath was waiting outside the training grounds ready to scream your head off.

However, the Marleyan Commander must've sensed your discomfort or could see it on your face because the moment you drew near, the older man merely smiled and thanked you for coming into work. Originally, your schedule was set for a meeting after meeting, and after an hour of work, Magaath walked into your office to state he had cleared your schedule and wanted to work with the younger warrior candidates in preparation for their upcoming exam.

Following him to the training ground, you tried to question why the man was retracting the duties that had been placed upon your shoulders. Because the man wasn't speaking, your mind began to wander and think that Magaath didn't think you could handle what they were placing oil your shoulders. At the training ground, the Commander grasped your shoulder and smiled, stating, "You have enough going on. I want you to take today easy and enjoy your weekend with Galliard."

Feeling sensitive, you still had to ask, "So…this doesn't have anything to do with you feeling that I can't handle all the newly assigned work?"

Magaath shook his head. "Call it intuition, but the moment I saw you running late into the building, I knew you would need an easier day. And there's nothing wrong with being granted an easier day. All I ask is that you train those four brats to the ground. Understood?" He seemed stern, but looking at you, Magaath provided a small smile.

Knowing you could do this, you smiled in return. "Yes, sir."

But despite some reprieve, the rest of the day hadn't been so kind to you. Gabi smacked you in the head, and you received three additional punches from Zofia, Falco, and Udo, all either directly into your abdomen or your lower back. By the time lunch rolled around, you were in tears and once the kids had left, you hid in a corner and cried. It didn't take long for Porco to find you knowing all your secret spots.

Dropping to his knees, Porco cupped your cheek, fearful at the idea of why you were crying. After discussing with Magaath this morning, Porco was to take your spot in the meetings while you would work one-on-one with the candidates. "Lyla, what's going on? Were the kids that mean?"

Your head shook. "No, they weren't mean. If anything, they got me back with some of their hits but…today's just been a shitty day."

"But it's almost over, and we have our weekend trip!"

You sadly glanced at him. "We have to change our plans…" Porco was about to question your words but you were quicker. "I started last night…"

"Ohhh, Lyla…" Arm wrapped around your shoulder, Porco pulled you in tightly, dropping a hand to your abdomen, firmly rubbing circles into your skin. He knew you hated additional pressure during this month but was aware additional pressure was a must to relieve some of the pain.

Eye widening, you quickly stood knocking Porco's arm off, suddenly needing the privacy of a bathroom. You weren't trying to ignore Porco but at this moment, you needed to escape and didn't want to talk. You barely made five paces when Porco's arm caught you around the shoulder, keeping your back towards his.

"Don't move a sec," was all he said. You were too stunned to do anything so you waited just as he said. You watched as Porco removed his infamous bomber jacket, then wrapped the arms around your waist, ultimately tying the fabric together. Confused, an eyebrow lifted as you peered backward at the man. Understanding your questions, Porco quietly whispered. "You leaked through your pants, Lyla…"

Peering down towards your ass, you swore and cursed and growled at the day you'd been having. "Fucking shit!" You nearly screamed though you heftily but your tongue. "I've already had a fucked up day, I didn't need this too!"

Frowning, Porco truly felt for you, worse was the fact that he knew there was nothing he could do. Rubbing the backside of your hand, he brought it to his lips. "Do you have a spare?"

You nodded. "Yes, thankfully, it's in my bag underneath my desk."

"Good. I'll handle the kiddos, you go take as long as you need and do whatever you may need to do."

"No, Porco…" You shook your head, turning around in his arms. "You switched to take my meetings, I can't ask you to take this duty while I go get cleaned up."

Smirking, he loved you dearly. "It's not like you chose to start your period last night and it's not like you chose to be in this much pain or of it to ruin your clothes halfway through the day. But I love you, Lyla, and I hate seeing you in so much pain."

"But, Magaath…!"

"I'll handle Magaath, you go take care of yourself, all right?"

"I'll be quick!"

"Don't," Porco cradled your cheek. "Take as long as you need. And, hey, if you must stop for ice cream, I don't see why I can't convince Magaath that we're wanting to take the kiddos as a treat. Ice cream always helps you, does it not?"

You meekly nodded in agreement, knowing it would become a 'kill two birds with one stone' sort of situation. Agreeing, you quickly kissed your boyfriend, leaving him behind so you could maneuver to the restroom. Regardless of your swiftness, you were still careful with Porco's jacket wrapped around your waist. You would utterly hate yourself if any form of menstrual blood formed on his believed jacket.

Regardless, you still loved how the man wrapped it around your waist, hoping to prevent further embarrassment so others within Headquarters could not see. This man deserved a prize, which was something you were going to give him over your planned weekend together. Now it would seem that it'd have to wait a few days. But you didn't mind, it would still happen regardless.

WHEN YOU LEAVE FOR A FEW DAYS

Having been part of the Marleyan Military for several years, thanks to the relationship you shared with one Porco Galliard, Commander Magaath had grown fond of you over that period. Recently, he'd been given you more diverse assignments, some of which were typically reserved for the veteran Warriors. Considering three of the Warriors were sent off to Paradis Island, the other three remained here, the highest veteran being Zeke.

Stopping by your office, Magaath suddenly appeared, asking to speak with you, alone. Following him to his own office across the way, the Commander informed you that he was sending you, along with Zeke, to another city where you two would negotiate terms of an agreement. The city in question was requesting the help of the Warriors in their titan forms, and it was an odd request at that. They weren't requesting the use of the titan powers for militaristic purposes, no, they were hoping to use the Warriors to help with some major construction that was needed within the city. And, according to the paperwork they recently submitted, the construction would take months by hand but supposedly only days with the help of the titans.

Your task with Zeke was to travel to this city and meet with the Mayor to negotiate the terms of service, the request, and the expected payment at the end. You had no choice but to agree and were to leave by train the following morning.

Now that you and Porco were living together, you explained the situation once you arrived in your apartment, immediately searching for a bag to pack, considering you would be gone only several days, possibly a week.

"And there's no one else they can send in your replacement?"

"Why, do you not want me to go?"

"Not really. I know you're capable of the assignment and you'll have Zeke there as well, it's just…" Porco came behind you, wrapping his arms tightly around your middle. "I'll miss you."

Chuckling, you turned and kissed his chin. "It'll just be a few days. Besides, with me gone, Magaath will probably have you picking up my duties. And you'll be training more with the young ones considering that's mainly my duty out of everyone." Seeing the sadness in his eyes, you leaned upward and kissed him softly. "Trust me, it'll go by quick. I'll be home before you know it."

The following morning, Porco traveled with you to the station where he hugged you so tightly and for too long that Zeke had to physically separate the two of you. Waving from your seat, the Warrior candidate watched you as the train slowly became moving forward, eventually leaving his sight.

And so, for the next several days, Porco buried himself in his work. He sought out Magaath every time he finished a new pile of paperwork to see if there were any other assignments he could complete. It became the point where even Magaath grew annoyed with Porco and sent him to the training grounds, assigning him supervisor duty, just as you had mentioned, to watch over and train the younger candidates. What made the situation worse was, despite the four youngsters knowing you were away on work leave, missed you as well, continuously expressing their sadness that you weren't there.

Porco would sink into your shared bed at night, cuddling your pillow against his chest imagining it was you. He knew he shouldn't be so saddened by the fact you were gone. And he knew it wasn't forever. Glancing at the calendar on the wall, he realized it had already been three days and you were expected home within the next two.

Inhaling your wondrous scent from the sheets, Porco growled. "When that woman gets home, I'm never letting her out of my sight."

WHEN YOU'RE DRUNK

You never got drunk.

Actually, you never drank alcohol, it went against what you believed. You had grown up with an alcoholic dad and made it your mission to never turn into them. Except tonight.

For some reason, Zeke and Colt convinced you to break your rule and have one beverage. But one drink turned into two which eventually turned into seven.

You, Porco, Zeke, and Colt were currently sitting in the bar, the latter two wanted to get away from Headquarters after a busy Friday. After your second drink, you were the one who started ordering your own, guzzling one after the next. Porco gave up on trying to stop you, knowing you'd regret your choice the following morning. However, considering the last several days you've had, he understood why you wanted to get shit-faced drunk. From what he had seen and everything you had explained to Porco, these last few days had been hell. You had just gotten over having the flu and weren't quite back to feeling normal. Then there were the few days you woke up late which led to a scolding from three different Commanding Officers, you had missed several different important deadlines and had suffered a black eye from a punch received by a pissed-off Marleyan soldier. It had just been one thing after another.

Glancing at his watch, Porco noticed it was nearing two in the morning. Despite it already being Saturday, he needed to get you home. Standing from his seat, he pulled away your last mug of ale away out of your hand. You peered up sadly at your boyfriend, tears forming in the corners of your eyes. "All right guys, I need to get this lady home."

"Wha' the fuck? Already?" Zeke glanced at his watch until he realized what time it was as well. "Oh shit you're right, it's fairly late."

"Nah…" Colt chimed in as he hiccuped. The second oldest Warrior candidate would never admit it but the man was growing to love his alcohol. Though he may not drink all the time, when the man drank, he for sure drank. "It's not that late, izzit?" Zeke shared his watch so the blonde could see. "Damn…you're rrrright!"

Helping you stand from your seat, Porco wrapped his arm over your shoulder, placing numerous bills on the table to cover his and your tab. "This girl needs to sleep off the nasty hangover she'll have come morning, you guys have a good night."

Zeke barely buzzed from his numerous drinks and waved his hand, continuously sipping his drink. Colt lay his head on the table, smiling creepily at me as he was fighting off trying to sleep. Waving them off as well, you were murmuring under your breath, trying to sing and talk at the same time and it was pretty hilarious. The moment you stepped outside, your shoulders quivered, shirking from the cold as a gust of wind blew by. Halting your walking, Porco shrugged off his jacket, having you insert your arms before his wound around your shoulder again. Your shared apartment wasn't that far from the bar and as Porco watched you stumble down the sidewalk, he tried to hide his laughter.

"Don' l-l-laugh at meeeeee…" You were in a whiny, cute mood as Porco guided you home. The entire walk you were mumbling words he couldn't understand, talking shit, and complimenting people at the same time, mainly the people that had pissed you off this week. As you reach your specific door, Porco pulled out the key, only for you to smack his hand, causing the keys to fall to the ground. You maniacally laughed, watching as he grinned at you.

"Alright Lyla, you've had your fun."

"Psh…no I haven't!" Skipping inside, you kept the jacket wrapped over your shoulders as you hopped up on the dining table, dangling your short legs as you made funny hand gestures, eventually stopping to stare at your fingers. "Woah! Pooooorco! My fingers look funny."

Despite you having only ever been drunk one time in your entire relationship, Porco knew what to expect. The first stage left you extremely excited soon followed by you falling asleep wherever you sat. As he stared at you from across the room, Porco could already see the sleepiness making its way through.

Watching as you kicked off your shoes, you then proceeded to remove all your clothing, leaving only your underwear and replaced your shirt with his jacket, you curled into a ball on the table. Walking up to you, Porco sighed, gently shaking your shoulder. "Lyla…wouldn't you be more comfortable in our bed?"

Eyes shot wide open, you immediately sat up and stared around, soon focusing on him, "Wha' You mean…this isn' our bed?!"

The man chuckled. "No bunny, our bed is in another room."

Your mouth fell to the floor. "Is it comfortable?"

"It's more comfortable than the table."

Moving to sit on the edge of the table, you placed your hands against his chest. In the most innocent voice with the most innocent face, you quietly asked, "…will it give me an orgasm?"

Not expecting such a question, Porco dropped his face into your neck, his entire body struggling to breathe at the moment because you had asked if the bed would give you a fucking orgasm. Several moments passed before Porco straightened, clearing tears from his eyes. "N-No, no, bunny…the bed will not give me an orgasm."

"Then…" Biting her finger, she asked, "…will you give me an orgasm?"

Biting his lips, Porco was caught between a rock and a hard place. He could feel himself grow hard simply from your adorable questions but would not do anything to you in this current state. "I can, and have, Lyla, but I will not do that to you tonight." Deciding it was time for bed, Porco lifted you beneath the legs, swiftly moving into the bedroom as he placed you onto the mattress. Removing his jacket, Porco grabbed your nightshirt, placing your arms through the holes until it was correctly placed on you. Grabbing your shoulders and politely forcing you to lay down, Porco covered you in the comforter, leaving to grab a glass of water from the kitchen.

Kissing the top of your head, Porco muttered, "You're gonna hate yourself in the morning, so get as much sleep as you can, bunny."

You smiled and snuggled into your pillow. As Porco moved to change, your last words before you crashed had his body shaking with laughter once more. "Are you SURE the bed can't give me an orgasm?"
