The cold was the first thing Izuku felt. A cold so intense it seemed to penetrate to his very bones, awakening every fiber of his being. He tried to open his eyes, but his eyelids felt as heavy as if they were made of lead. Suddenly, a metallic buzzing echoed around him.

System voice: "Cryogenic thawing complete. All occupants, please remain in your capsules."

Izuku managed to open his eyes, blinking with difficulty. He was surrounded by a sterile, white environment, lit by a dim blue light. The glass cover of his capsule opened with a hiss, releasing a cloud of icy vapor.

Izuku: (Coughing) What... what's happening?

He staggered as he stepped out of the capsule, his muscles stiff from years of inactivity. He looked around. Other capsules were still closed, some completely empty. However, the first thing he searched for was his mother and Eri.

Izuku: (Desperately) Mom! Eri!

He walked toward the nearest capsules. He recognized his mother, still inside her capsule, her face serene as if she were sleeping. And then he saw Eri's, a few meters away. He quickly approached.

Eri was still there, safe, her small figure curled up under the protection of the glass. A knot of relief formed in his throat.

Izuku: (With a trembling smile) It's okay… they're okay.

However, before he could react, a noise caught his attention. From the other side of the room, a capsule opened abruptly. Two figures, dressed in Vault-Tec suits, emerged from a dark corner. But they were not alone. A burly man, armed with a pistol, was giving them orders.

Armed man: "Hurry, open the kid's capsule! We don't have much time."

Izuku, still dazed, hid behind a nearby console. He watched as the individuals manipulated a capsule containing a small child. The child, crying and scared, was forcibly pulled out.

Vault-Tec worker: (Pleading) Please, this wasn't in the contract. They said no one else would be harmed.

Armed man: (Pointing the gun at him) Shut up and do your job, or you'll be next.

Izuku's protective instincts flared up like fire. He remembered the horrors of war, the sacrifices he had made to protect the innocent, and he couldn't just stand by.

Izuku: (Whispering to himself) I can't allow this.

He moved carefully, using his surroundings to stay out of sight. He found a loose metal bar on the floor and grabbed it firmly. Although still weak from cryogenic sleep, his determination was stronger than ever.

The armed man became distracted while arguing with the worker. Izuku seized the moment. He lunged at him with a precise blow, disarming him and knocking him to the ground.

Izuku: (Shouting) Let him go!

The man tried to fight back, but Izuku, despite his weakness, immobilized him with precise moves. He remembered his military training, and he wasn't going to give him a chance to counterattack.

The Vault-Tec worker took advantage of the chaos to grab the child and retreat, protecting him from any harm.

Vault-Tec worker: (Frightened) I don't know who you are, but thank you!

Izuku turned toward him, still holding the armed man.

Izuku: Take the child and run! Find a safe place. I'll take care of this one.

The worker nodded quickly and disappeared down a hallway with the child. The armed man, still immobilized, let out a dry laugh.

Armed man: "You think this is over? There are more like me out there. This world isn't what you knew, soldier."

Izuku looked at him intently, his jaw clenched.

Izuku: "Then I'll face them. One by one, if I have to."

With a quick motion, he struck the man in the head, knocking him unconscious. He took his pistol and searched through his belongings, finding a few bullets and a strange holodisk marked with the Vault-Tec logo.

Izuku: (Looking at it curiously) What the hell is this?

He pocketed the disk and looked around. His priority now was to wake his mother and Eri. He didn't know how much time had passed or what had happened outside, but one thing was certain: they couldn't stay here.

He approached the central console, trying to figure out how to activate the remaining capsules. At the same time, an idea began to form in his mind. If this vault had fallen into chaos, what had happened outside?
