Welcome back everyone! Last time we saw Marta, she reunited with Emerald, Topaz, Vermillion, Azure and Selene and upon hearing Tenebrae's proposition, have agreed to help train Marta further as she begins to search for the Centurion Cores. However, Emerald appeared longing and distant while Vermillion had a strange feeling that something bad will occur. What could this all mean?

Once we check back on the Present Day, we'll discover the answer to these questions!

Grass Field Outskirts [Present Day]

Although Emil is Ratatosk himself, he really is dumbfound that hatching a Centurion's Core REALLY is that simple. Then again, his other self was able to do so by himself, so, what can he say?

On the other side, Emil was genuinely happy for his beloved reuniting with her old friends from the Vanguard and is even more happy that they were willing to help her out. However, he did wonder why they didn't keep traveling with her even now, but he figured that Marta will reveal why as she continues.

'I just hope nothing bad happened to them...' Emil thought to himself as he didn't want Marta's friends to be imprisoned or worse. However, he knew someone was going to ask Marta or Tenebrae something and he needed to pay attention.

"So, you managed to reunite with your friends from the Vanguard and they agreed to help you out for a while, right?" Lloyd asked Marta, wanting to make sure so he and others got it right.

"Yeah, that's right. It made me happy that I have some of my old friends with me, especially since that I would be parting with Nova, Sarah, Alduin and May soon..." Marta replied as she recalled how sad it was to part ways with them, clearly wishing to see them again. As Emil looked around, he could tell that the others are probably thinking the same thing he did about why the five girls aren't traveling with Marta at the moment, yet again as he saw, Raine and Genis don't seem too bothered. Was there something the two Half-Elf siblings knew or something?

"Yeah, but what was Tenabie talking to that Knight Lady about?" Zelos chimed in, clearly wondering about the bit Tenebrae mentioned a moment ago.

"We'll reveal it soon enough. Patience is a virtue after all." Tenebrae replied with a light chuckle before Emil spoke up to Marta.

"On that note, you mentioned that Emerald was born in Izoold and that she... lost her mom there. Was that why she wanted to wander around the town?" Emil asked Marta in regards to Emerald's distant behavior, which prompted a downcast look upon her face.

"Yes. However, while we knew about Emerald being born in Izoold and that she lost her mom, I didn't know that her mom was killed by a Desian until that day. You see..." Marta explained as she began to continue about her time in Izoold, from introducing her friends to Nova and his family, her discussion with Emerald and eventually the uneasy premonition that Vermillion felt...

Izoold

Marta felt like skipping as she led her friends to the shop where Nova and his family are buying supplies for when they'll eventually get back to traveling. They agreed to stay in Izoold for a while to spend the last few days of the month with Marta before they see her off. As much as it saddened them, Alduin and May especially, they understood that in order to save Ratatosk and restore the world's weather in addition to stopping the Vanguard's evil plot, she needs to leave. The fact that she's been through so much, along with saving him and his son's lives was more than enough for Nova to trust Marta and he would have allowed her to stay if it meant she was safe for Marta had become something of a granddaughter to him and Sarah. And even though they finally got to speak with Tenebrae, they enjoyed his company as well and will miss him too. Nova even hoped to meet other Centurions like him someday himself...

As Marta and her friends made their way to the shop, people where giving them strange looks. Not Marta herself as she looked normal as much a teenage girl could be, but her friends clearly got some interesting looks as Tenebrae concealed himself to avoid unwanted attention like in Triet. Marta and Tenebrae had to admit that a tomboyish woman with muscles, a woman dressed head to toe in armor, an intellectual young lady and a girl with a similar visage to Marta herself would stand out a LOT. One thing they could agree om is that Emerald will be okay in her hometown since she lived here.

'Emerald... I should go check on her later.' Marta thought to herself in regards to the Kunoichi as she seemed a little out of it since her arrival as it appeared to be more than homesickness. Call it a woman's intuition if you will. It would also help to get her mind off the Green-Eyed boy, whom she started to think more about with each passing day for it was becoming clear that without intending too, she formed a crush on the boy who saved her life that day.

'Why am I crushing on him so much? I mean, he saved my life yes but...' Marta thought as she thought how cool he looked back than along with that simple act of kindness by asking if she was okay. Yeah, he looked handsome, but that wasn't what was on her mind than and she knew looks aren't everything, yet those sharp Peridot Green eyes stuck like glue whenever she closed her eyes to see him standing there. Not to mention the idea of having a knight like that would be like being in one of the stories her mom read to her as a child.

'I wonder... how he's doing and if he'll... be my friend...?' Marta thought to herself, wondering where he currently is at and if he'll want anything to do with her, even if he agrees to be a Knight of Ratatosk and yet, she's starting to believe that he'll make a wonderful knight, even when they first met even!

'Maybe I'm exaggerating... just a little.' Marta thought with a small smile and little blush as she and the others reached their destination.

Izoold [Shop]

Marta and the others arrived at the shop as Nova and Sarah are browsing for provisions while Alduin and May played in the corner of the store while waiting on their parents. As they entered, Marta smiled at them before looking back at the others.

"So, these are the people you and Tenebrae traveled with?" Vermillion whispered to Marta as not to startle everyone in the shop.

"Yeah, that's right. They're shopping for provisions when they head out in four days." Marta whispered back to the lady knight with a small smile. As they whispered, Marta felt a small hand grab her own hand, prompting her to look down to see May holding it.

"Hi Marta. Are these people the friends you've been waiting for?" May asked Marta as she eyed the people in question. Marta made sure to explain about the ones who came to assist her so they knew what the others looked liked and she could tell May looked neverous and impressed all at once.

"Yes. These are my friends... from 'before'..." Marta replied while making sure she doesn't say 'Vanguard' aloud to alert anyone. While confused at first, she immediately understood in regards to her friends. Topaz walked over, kneeled down and held a hand out while May felt neverous.

"It's okay, I don't bite." Topaz said with a reassuring smile, hoping to show her with actions that she means no harm. After a minute or two, both of May's grasped the tomboy's hand with a tiny smile.

"N-nice to meet you." May replied nervously to Topaz. As Marta was seeing this, she saw Alduin approach Vermillion.

"A-are you a knight miss?" Alduin asked the Lady Knight as she knelt down to his level.

"You could say I'm one, young man." Vermillion replied to the boy without treating him as a child, most likely as to not indirectly "insult" him as kids sometimes like to be seen as grown-ups. Like Topaz, Alduin grasped Vermillion's armored hand with hisneyes lighting up.

"You're pretty cool looking miss." Alduin said with awe at the knight. While Marta could see her face, she had a feeling that Vermillion must be flattered.

"Thank you for the compliment, young man." Vermillion replied as the boy looked her over further.

"Nice to meet you too, little lady." Topaz replied as she used her other hand to pat her head softly. It wasn't long before Nova and Sarah finished shopping and when they turned around, they saw Marta smile back along the sight of Topaz treating May with kindness and Vermillion appealing to Alduin. Seeing how they interacted with their children, Nova and Sarah feel they can trust Marta with them since she and Tenebrae explained that they left Scarlet and Commander Brute for their former captain.

Izoold [Coastline]

Upon returning to the Caravan, it was around noon. As soon as Nova and Sarah stored the food and supplies on the Caravan, they took the time to interact with Topaz, Vermillion, Azure and Selene to know them better. While treating their children with kindness is a good sign, they wish to understand what kind of women they are like and give them a chance like Nova told Marta.

Needless to say, they are all impressed. Topaz's physique and skills as a martial artist, Vermillion's knight like personality and poise, Azure's intellect and skills with technology and Selene's striking resemblance to Marta along with her use of magic to the point that Alduin said that she could be Marta's twin sister. The sight brought relief and a smile to Marta's face.

"Well, it appears that everyone here has taken a liking to your friends." Tenebrae chimed in as he saw Alduin express interest in Azure's gun before the bespectacled girl kept it away from him while wiggling a fingure at him to tell him "Don't touch that!", which is understandable as akid holding a firearm is not a good thing to see. Meanwhile Selene is doing some small tricks with her magic such as evaporating a chuck of ice she summoned with a small flame to appease May, which surprised Marta as she rarely saw Selene open up to little children like this and yet...

'I guess Selene's heart has opened up a little... that's good.' Marta thought as she looked on at her friends getting along with Nova and his family.

"Yes, that is a good thing. I just wish they could meet Emerald right now though." Marta replied as she thought back to the kunoichi. If it weren't for meeting her, thie reunion wouldn't have been possible. Eventually, Nova walked over to the young girl as Vermillion walked over to converse with Sarah and Topaz. Marta kept silent as she waited on Nova's response.

"I trust them." Nova said as Marta listened on. She was a little surprised and also was relieved.

"Really?" Marta replied as she looked at the Zoologist.

"As I said, I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt and after seeing and talking with them, I can tell you'll be in good hands. It's a relief to see people like this from... well 'before'." Nova replied with a reassuring smile. While he couldn't fathom good people aiding the Vanguard, he recalled Marta telling him yesterday that the Vanguard wasn't always like this, with Marta and her Unit standing out from the others as they didn't take the radical approach other Units took.

"Thank you. That means a lot. I just wish Scarlet and Lavender came here too..." Marta replied with a greatful smile while wishing that everyone in the Special Unit was here with her. Nova could tell that in spite of Scarlet and Lavender's obedience to Marta's father, Marta truly wants them with her and he could only offer one piece of advice.

"Believe in them." Was all Nova said to the young girl as she looked to him, womdering what he meant by that.

"Believe in their better nature and keep hope that your two remaining friends will come around and leave the Vanguard. That is what true friends do for each other and with enough time, your feelings will reach them." Nova continued as he explained to Marta as she began to understand what he said to her and figured that he may be right.

"Thanks Nova..." Marta said as she thanked Nova once more. She never would have thought that a traveling caravan would be so accepting of her, let alone friends who were part of the Vanguard. She didn't think it would have been possible, nit thay she was going to tell everyone though. She still needed to be careful after all...

"By the way, where is your other friend? The one called Emerald." Nova asked the young gril while thinking about the kindness he and his family gave her. It's true that he hasn't had a chance to meet the kunoichi yet.

"Oh, well... Emerald went to explore Izoold. This is her hometown." Marta explained to the zoologist while noting that she still hadn't returned yet. Just as she suspected, it MUST be more than being homesick and it was starting to worry her.

"I'm gonna go check on her and we'll be back as soon as we can." Marta said to Nova as she began to head into the town.

"Take your time Marta." Nova called back as he saw her off before heading over to where Tenebrae sat to discuss about more monsters with him.

Izoold [Forest]

It was around 1:00 PM in the Noon and after taking a look around the small fishing town, Marta found no sight of Emerald and figured she must have gone into the forest past the entrance. The question is why though? Why would she leave after she got here?

'She shouldn't have a reason to leave and yet...' Marta thought as she took a look around in the forest until she saw some footsteps. After a close look, she can tell these are Emerald's footprints in the dirt considering her footwear are sandals. With that in mind, Marta went through the forest trail until she found Emerald kneeling in a huge, open clearing where there appeared to be...

'Graves!? W-why are there graves here...?' Marta thought in shock for a brief moment before realizing what a dumb question that is. The reason graves are here are to bury those who passed on. Now that Marta thought about it, this must be the one place where they can bury the deceased as Izoold doesn't have a lot of space for that. Keeping her thoughts to herself, Marta walked over to where Emerald is as quiet as she could as not to startle her. Last thing she wants is to have Emerald accidentally throw a kunai into her. As soon as she got close, she cleared her throat softly to let Emerald know she was there and as soon as the kunoichi turned...

"M-Marta...? What're you doing here?" Emerald asked in shock as she stood up from where she kneeled.

"I came to look for you and I had a feeling you went out of Izoold. It was than I found your footsteeps and I found you... here..." Marta replied as she held one of her arms nervously. After all, she didn't expect to find herself in a makeshift graveyard.

"Oh... I guess I just lost track of time. After wandering around my hometown, I came here. As you must have guessed, this place is where we bury those whose time has come. Either naturally or too soon." Emerald explained as she turned back to the makeshift two grave in front of her. All the graves are in the form of wooden crosses with the name of the person carved into them.

"I was just visiting my mother and father. It's been a good two years since I left my hometown..." Emerald replied nervously as she looked to her parents grave. As Marta processed what the kunoichi said, Marta realized thay something was off about what she said...

"Wait a moment. You told me that you were fourteen when you joined the Vanguard. I thought that is was strange they allowed a young girl in, but you left your hometown when you were thirteen!?" Marta asked Emerald as she put two and two together. While she questioned why her father allowed a young teenager in, she did remember that she herself, only a year older than the kunoichi, is still a kid herself. Naturally, Emerald pulled down her mask, revealing her face, freckles and all. Her face was that of... sadness.

"Marta... I never told you what happened to my mom... did I...?" Emerald replied with some degree of hesitation.

"You said your mom was "taken" from you? I assumed it was a natural disaster or that... someone..." Marta replied before trailing off, not having the heart to finish that sentence.

"It... was someone... it was a... a Desian that did it..." Emerald continued with a slight stutter in her voice and needless to say, Marta was shocked to hear that as there weren't many Desians around Izoold.

"A Desian?! But how?! There aren't any Human Ranches in Izoold!" Marta replied as this didn't make any sense. The only Human Ranches that were established to her knowledge are located around Iselia, Palmacosta and Asgard.

"He was crawling out of the water when my mom found him near the coastline. The villagers were on their guard and when my mom tried to help him... he... he... he killed her..." Emerald continued as tears fell down her face. Needless to say, Marta was shocked, saddened and appalled from what she heard. Emerald's own mother died trying to help a Deisan and was killed for trying to help someone. Yes the Desians were bad people, but they are still people who should have accepted help when they needed it.

"That's awful! What... what happened than...?" Marta said as she struggled to ask what became of the Deisan.

"The townsfolk killed the Desian. He was too weak to fight an entire town and a day after... they buried my mom right next to my father's grave. All because she believed in helping anyone in need, no matter who it is..." Emerald said as she turned to the graves with Marta following her gaze and on the two graves, they read...

Céladon Greenwood

Myrtle Greenwood

"Greenwood? Is that your family name?" Marta asked Emerald as the kunoichi took deep breath in before facing her former captain.

"Yes. Two years ago, my name... was Jade Greenwood and I lived for most of my life here." Emerald revealed to Marta in regards to her previous name and identity.

"Was? What do you mean by that?" Marta asked her friend. Even though she shouldn't bother Emerald about this, something tells her that Emerald needs this. Even though they're not in the Vanguard anymore, it was still a Captain's duty to look out for her men, something that Alice clearly lacks in doing so. Emerald took a deep breath before she continued speaking...

"When my mom, Myrtle, died, I was taken in by the town leader for a while. One night, I heard that the town leader and three other adults wanted to send me to an orphanage in a place called Hima. I told them I didn't want to leave my hometown and that I wanted to stay in Izoold, but they told me none of them didn't have the time to raise me and they insisted that I go in hopes of finding a new family and a "better" life. As soon as I gathered what belongings I could carry with me... I ran away, but with town leader and the three adults siding with him started chasing after me. I ran as fast as I could, hoping they would give up, but they didn't stop for they had no intention of changing their mind or letting me escape, which then triggered my anxiety and caused a panic attack, a problem that I always had ever since I was 5 years old. When I began to black out, I thought for sure they would catch me until my blurry vision saw a man wearing a red outfit fighting them off before he walked up to me by the time I passed out..." Emerald continued while recounting the awful moments that happened to her and needless to say, Marta was left speechless and didn't know what to say.

On one hand, Emerald might have overreacted, but at the same time, Marta couldn't blame her. This place was her home and she didn't want to leave it. Unfortunately, no one was willing to raise her and intended to send her to an orphanage without any regard to her thoughts and feelings to the point they made her pass out from a panic attack to forcibly send her away, a fact that infuriated her. Marta couldn't help but feel that if she lost both her her mother and father, she would've been in Emerald's shoes herself.

"I'm... I'm so sorry to hear about what happened to you and your mom. You didn't deserve all of that." Marta apologized while giving her deepest condolences. While they were attacked by the monster tree that took her mom, the fact that an ungrateful Desian murdered Emerald's mom when she was just tying to help was just as bad, if not worse.

"Thank you for your condolences, but you are not to blame for my self-imposed exile. No one except for the people who wanted to send me away. Regardless... they most likely assume me dead by now as not a single townsperson recognized me. They... they must have forgotten all about me..." Emerald replied as she looked back at her parents graves, kneeling while gently stroking across her mothers grave with a sense of tenderness. Seeing this reminded Marta of when she once visited Lily's grave by herself one time, she touched it fondly and even hugged it as best she could. Marta understood that this is what could have happened to her if something had befallen Brute as well and seeing how this tore up another girl like Emerald was heartbreaking...

"I'm sorry... I should've known this place brought back bad memories and... I shouldn't have asked you about this..." Marta apologized remorsefully before Emerald got up and hugged her tightly, sniffling as she began to cry. All Marta could do was hug her as she empathized with her friend's pain and sorrow.

"No... you... or Mr. Tenebrae didn't... d-do a-anything... w-w-wrong..." Emerald stuttered as she began to cry in her former captain's arms. This is one reason why Emerald liked Marta. She was willing to give them some much needed optimism and even a good shoulder to cry on if they needed it. Emerald remembered the many times that Marta calmed down her panic attacks whenever she began to suffer one and yet in that one moment, as the the two girls slowly dropped to their knees...

"WAHHHHHHHH! AHHHHHHHH... AHHHHHH!" Emerald cried as loud as she could while Marta shed some of her own tears for her friend. Nothing upset Marta more than seeing a friend of hers hurt like this, yet all she can do is stay by the kunoichi's side until she calmed down. That was all she can do in that moment in time...

30 Minutes Later...

After Emerald cried for a good five minutes, the two girls stayed by each other as they kneeled and prayed to Emerald's parents. Marta eventually decided to break the silence between them...

"I'm... sorry I asked you about your parents and your past..." Marta apologized once again as she looked to Emerald, who returned the gaze.

"Don't be. To be honest... I needed that... After all, I kept it bottled up within me for so long and thought I could leave all this behind, just forget about the place that wanted to give me to an orphanage who wouldn't care about what happened to me. I mean, sure there are some orphanages who take care of people, but what if I got sent to one that would treat you badly...? Plus, this place was my family's home..." Emerald explained as she wiped her eye, which was slightly red from all the crying.

"Thank you for hearing me out Marta..." Emerald followed up with a thankful smile. This left Marta conflicted as she felt bad for making Emerald cry, yet she felt happy that she was able to relieve her friend of a massive burden from her shoulders. She could tell now that she needed to let it all out in order to move forward.

"But I made you cry and made you talk about a painful subject..." Marta replied with hesitation in her voice before Emerald placed a gentle hand on her shoulder.

"Sometimes, we need to cry. My mistake was bottling it up for two whole years. Even my master once told me the folly of letting bitter and sorrowful feelings build up to the point that it consumes you. Master Azumi is a wise teacher and... I just didn't take that advice until now..." Emerald continued while reassuring Marta for asking her about her family before mentioning a name that Marta never heard before.

"Azumi... is that man in red who saved you when the townspoeple chased you?" Marta asked Emerald, curious about the man who rescued her from the adults in Izoold.

"Yes. He rescued me, thinking that they were trying to hurt me. He's not wrong. I told him about what happened and that I had no intention of returning. For the next two weeks, I stayed close to him, believing he could protect me while I gathered my own food through fruits and vegetables until one night, he invited me to have some meat he was cooking. He than offered to teach me how to become a shinobi. How to fight, take care of myself and to help control my anxiety. So, I took up his offer and over the course of a year, I learned how to fight like a trained ninja and learned everything he knew while finding my own style, hence Jade Star here, the weapon that bore my birth name. It was during my time with him that I took up the name Emerald." Emerald explained while recalling her master. From what it sounded like, this Azumi was distant at first before warming up to the young girl in question before teaching her. To Marta, she couldn't help but be relieved that this strange man took care of Emerald the best he could.

"You must really look up to him." Marta said as she continued to listen to Emerald's story, her curiosity about Azumi growing as she continued to listen.

"Yes. He was a strict teacher, but he never went too far. He even took care of me when I was hungry, needed help and especially when I got sick. When he eventually fell ill himself, I did what I could to help him until he got well again, doing my best to repay him for what he did for me. He was like a father to me... yet I never said that to him, even though I should have told him when I had the chance. But then one day, when I turned fourteen and proved myself worthy of being a Chūnin, he said it was time to continue my journey without him. I was sad and scared about being on my own... and yet, he pat me on the head and told me to not be afraid, saying that I'll be okay. I... never saw him again after that. Despite that, I started to travel around Sylvarant, helping out my fellow Sylvaranti until I ran into Topaz one day, who was planning to join the Vanguard. I decided to accompany her and we eventually joined the Vanguard, where we became part of your Unit." Emerald continued as she recalled the many times she had with her master until it was time to leave the nest she found herself in. Marta was amazed and touched that this one man, a complete stranger took Emerald in and trained her, yet she couldn't help but feel peeved that he was willing to send her out into the world without him after completing her training, especially since she was still easily frightened. However, it was because of that choice that led Emerald to Topaz and eventually to the Vanguard, where they met Marta and became friends.

"It's sad that you had to go through a lot, but... I'm glad to have gotten the chance to meet you and everyone else Emerald. You're not alone anymore and besides... maybe someday, you'll be able to see your master again." Marta said as she placed her own hand on Emerald's hand with a sincere smile. For the first time since they spoke in this graveyard, Emerald gave a sad, yet big smile from the bottom of her heart.

"T-thank you Marta. I just hope I can make him and my parents proud someday..." Emerald replied as for the first time since they spoke in this graveyard, the kunoichi gave a big smile from the bottom of her heart. It was sad, yet full of gratitude all the same.

"I'm certain you have Emerald." Marta reassured her friend as they stood up as while she never knew Emerald's parents, she could tell that her mother and father would be happy that she grew up okay and found a goal in life.

Eventually, the two girls left this place behind them, yet on the two graves of Emerald's parents, there are now two green ribbons tied to each one, symbolizing that their daughters presence will now always be with them, now and forever more...

Izoold [Coastline]

Upom returning to the Caravan, Marta was able to introduce Emerald to Nova and his family, with them taking a great liking to her, with Alduin and May stating she looked similar to a lady wearing purple clothes, something that flattered her. They all spent the rest of the day together in a rare moment of peace.

Eventually, later that evening, Emerald told Marta that she intends to tell the rest of her unit about what she revealed to her, even though Marta said she didn't have too as even though Emerald thanked her for listening, she still felt bad for bringing up the subject. Marta and Emerald would reveal the story to the others and as expected, they all felt the same way Marta did for the kunoichi and all made sure to be there for her if something went ary in Izoold, especially Topaz as it was these events that led Emerald to her. As they all prepared to head back, Vermillion reached out to Marta by her shoulder with the others going on ahead.

"Marta, there's something I need to tell you..." Vermillion said with a serious tone as Tenebrae walked up next to her.

"What is it Vermillion?" Marta asked the lady knight, wondering what she had to say.

"I can tell you were troubled, but you were able to release a massive burden from Emerald's soul. It may have started from an unrelated question, but it came from a place of concern and you freed her wounded heart. It's okay if you feel shame, but don't feel bad for restoring her weary spirit." Vermillion said to Marta in an attempt to let her know that Marta had done a good thing for their comrade even if Marta didn't believe so.

"Thank you Vermillion." Marta replied to the knight as even though she had doubts about how she could have handled talking with Emerald about her past, the fact that she was willing to tell the others showed that she's not afraid anymore and that filled Marta with a sense of pride.

"But that's not the only reason I wanted to speak with you... I have a strange premonition." Vermillion said as Marta turned with a look of concern and seriousness. In the past, Vermillion had this strange habit of having feelings about something good or bad happening. While Marta and the others didn't take it seriously initially, over time, they understood that her keen sense has been beneficial to the Unit.

"What do you mean Vermillion?" Marta asked with a sense of dread. Was it the Vanguard or could it be someone in Izoold in regards to Emerald? All she knew, is that it would lead to another battle in some way, shape and form.

"I'm not certain, but we must be prepared. Worry not Marta. Now that we're together, we'll be ready for whatever comes our way. You have my word." Vermillion replied as she lifted her hand off her shoulder and proceeded to head back. As Marta began to follow Vermillion, she felt scared and yet...

"Lady Marta? Are you alright? I'm sure that must not be what you wished to hear..." Tenebrae asked in concern as he followed the young girl...

"I'm a bit shooken up, but I feel that we'll be okay. If it's the Vanguard... whether it's Alice, Decus or Richter, I'm sure we can fight them off together, but we'll have to make sure it's away from Izoold. Yes, what those four adults did to Emerald was awful, but that doesn't mean they or the rest of Izoold should be put in danger." Marta said with a sense of confidence she never had before, especially considering she has her old Unit once more.

"And what if it's those people that were after Emerald?" Tenebrae asked Marta, who than steeled her heart. If there was one good thing about Marta, is that she's not afraid to speak her mind to anyone who hurts her friends.

"Than I'm not afraid to give them a piece of my mind." Marta replied with a determined expression as Tenebrae looked toward her with a small smirk, apparently content with her resolve as she grew up within a single month.

To Be Continued...

The truth of Emerald's past is revealed and Marta now knows of the potential danger that will make it's way to Izoold, but is determined to face it! Is it the Vanguard or is it the four adults that went after Emerald innthe past?

We'll see what happens next time!
