"Please wait a moment." With that, Ye Hai stood up and walked over to Gwen. "Gwen, you finally made it! I missed you so much."

Gwen rolled her eyes and looked at the waitress with an unfriendly expression. "I thought you two were having a lovely chat."

"Really? We were just discussing what to drink," Ye Hai said, politely pulling out a chair for Gwen.

Once seated, the waitress politely asked, "What would you like to drink?"

"Green tea."

"Coffee!"

"Okay, please wait a moment." The waitress turned and left.

Gwen smiled and said, "Big scientist, that girl was pretty nice, wasn't she?"

"She was just good-looking. I prefer women who are both talented and attractive," Ye Hai replied with a smile.

"I get your taste," Gwen chuckled, her sapphire eyes playfully glancing at Ye Hai. "But all men enjoy a one-night stand."

"Alright." Ye Hai found it hard to argue with her. He pulled out the note that Professor X had written for him. "You see, this is just the address of a school. If I wanted a one-night fling, I wouldn't go to school, would I?"

"Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters? Haha, that's the Mutant Academy! Why would they let you in? Ye, are you a mutant?" Gwen laughed.

"You actually know about the mutant school?" Ye Hai was surprised.

"What's so strange about that? Don't forget, my dad is the chief of the New York City Police Department. He's mentioned that school to me before," Gwen said with a smile. "You still haven't told me how you got invited there?"

Gwen's gaze was filled with curiosity. Ye Hai knew this girl had a strong curiosity, and if he wanted to continue dating her, it would be better to not keep this secret from her.

In a soft voice, Ye Hai said, "Because I'm a mutant."

"Oh, you're a mutant." Gwen smiled, showing no surprise at all, as if she already knew.

Ye Hai frowned and said, "You don't seem surprised at all?"

Gwen shrugged and laughed, "You performed so well in the lab; Dr. Connor spent a decade working on the mutation rate formula, and you perfected it in just one day. With a mind as brilliant as yours, how could you be an ordinary person? You know, my colleagues say you're an alien, ha ha!"

"So you've been speculating about my identity for a while now," Ye Hai chuckled. "Aren't you afraid?"

"You're handsome, easy-going, and can solve human problems. A person as useful as you should be cherished by human society, why would anyone be afraid?" Gwen looked at Ye Hai with confusion.

Ye Hai was momentarily taken aback as he realized that his immense abilities were constructive rather than destructive and would benefit human society; naturally, they would accept him.

He sighed in relief and looked at Gwen earnestly: "Gwen, what do you think of me?"

"Well," Gwen smiled and blinked, "besides being a bit handsome, you're kind of a nerd. You get so caught up in your research that you tend to forget there's a lady sitting next to you."

"Sorry, Gwen. I still find you much more interesting than any research. Would you like to be my girlfriend?" Ye Hai asked with a smile.

Gwen paused for a moment, her cheeks faintly blushing, and said, "I suppose I won't refuse, considering you're a mutant, haha!"

"That's great!"

With their relationship confirmed, both felt incredibly happy, and their conversation became much more relaxed. They talked about many things and felt time flying by.

Half an hour later, Gwen said goodbye, as she was still in high school and her life was still controlled by her parents, so she couldn't stay out too late.

After they parted ways, Ye Hai immediately returned home, opened his computer, and started looking at scientific data.

Now that he was in the fourth-level brain domain, he didn't want to waste time and decided to study all night.

While studying, his computer suddenly displayed an unusual flickering interface. The change was subtle, and an ordinary person wouldn't notice it, but with his fourth-level brain domain and heightened senses, he easily caught the change.

When the interface flickered, it usually indicated unstable voltage or a computer overloaded with information, causing the CPU to work too quickly and resulting in visual flickering. Network congestion could also cause these issues, which were all normal occurrences. However, the most concerning reason was that there could be unauthorized programs invading his computer, causing delays in processing speed—a hacker infringing on his device.

After a few seconds of searching, he realized something was wrong. In his familiar operating system, there was suddenly an extra 1M of data. Most people wouldn't remember the exact sizes of files in their system, but someone like Ye Hai could easily do so.

After some more searching, Ye Hai identified the extra software. It was a seemingly innocuous program disguised as an image processing system of the OS—very difficult for most people to find, but someone like Ye Hai, who knew the system inside and out, could locate it easily.

Now Ye Hai was sure that this program was hacker software.

Fuming with anger, Ye Hai decided he needed to give this hacker a serious lesson.
