Chapter 50: The End Part 2

Previously, on Key of the Titans

"AAAAAHHHHHH!" Sora screamed in anguish as he, Stitch, Robin, Starfire, Ravager, Cyborg, and Beast Boy watched sorrowfully as Raven vanished in the ball of blue light. He held onto the lucky penny, Raven's necklace and charm in his hands as the ball shrunk down and exploded into a swirling disc of unholy flames. The disc then destroyed the pillar it rested on before reaching the ground, shooting out red flames as it began to open up, shaking the entire chamber. Sora stood up from his knees, with tears welling in his eyes, as he and the team backed away while the great red, demon, Trigon rose from the portal.

"THE EARTH IS MINE!" Trigon roared. Sora angrily gritted his teeth and bawled his fists before screaming and leaping into the air with a battle cry and keyblade in hand as he went to strike Trigon.

"Sora no!" Each Titan yelled but the spiky-haired keyblader didn't listen, too consumed by rage, as he fired a powerful beam of light towards the great demon. Trigon didn't even flinch as he blocked the beam and retaliated with his own red beam. The two beams struggled for a little until Trigon added more energy into his beam, breaking Sora's and sending him flying and crashing into the wall, smoking from the shot. The team quickly ran to him and pulled him out of the wall.

"YOU FAILED KEYBLADE WIELDER. AND NOW YOU WILL WATCH THIS WORLD BURN!" Trigon said. Suddenly, he releases a powerful shockwave that sends tremors across the entire chamber. Sora quickly runs in front of everyone and created a shield around them but the shockwave easily breaks through it, shocking him.

"Guys!" Sora yelled out to them but he was drowned out by the shockwave and a bright light that overtook his sight, making him lose track of his friends. He soon felt himself falling to the ground and being buried under some stones and rubble as, unknown to him, the shockwave traveled across Jump City before soon engulfing the entire world in a combination of destruction, lava, and barren landscapes.

(Meanwhile, in Yen Sid's Tower)

Yen Sid's eyes opened in shock and worry as King Mickey took notice.

"Master Yen Sid! What's wrong?" Mickey asked.

"Sora has failed. The enemy, Trigon, has returned and wrought destruction to the world he is on," Yen Sid replied. He waved his hands in front of his desk as smoke appeared in front of him and opened up to reveal the once blue and green world, now red and smoldering from the boiling rock.

"Oh no! Sora is there! We have to help him now!" Mickey said, about to run out of the room.

"Mickey!" Yen Sid, called out stopping him. "It is too late. Now that Trigon is in control, he'll make certain that no outsider may enter that planet and he will be sending his forces here, to the Realm of Light," He answered, making Mickey look down in worry. "Do not worry for Sora and his friends though, I can still sense his light from the world," He replied, making the King take a breath of relief.

"What should we do then, Master?" Mickey asked. Yen Sid sighed and closed his eyes as ideas ran through his mind.

"We must prepare ourselves and the worlds. They must be warned immediately," Yen Sid replied.

"Right. I'll go with Donald and Goofy to warn everybody," Mickey offered.

"Good, I will send word to Riku to hurry with Kairi," Yen Sid said. Mickey nodded and was about to run out the door when suddenly a corridor of darkness opened up in front of him, stopping him in his place as the young version of Xehanort walked out of it.

"You!" Mickey yelled, backing away towards Yen Sid while summoning his keyblade while the great wizard stood from his chair.

"Xehanort! Why are you here?!" Yen Sid demanded. The sliver-haired young man could only smirk in response.

"I assume you already know about Trigon's return to the Realms," Young Xehanort replied.

"Of course. No doubt another step in your nefarious plans," Yen Sid accused. The young man shook his head in response.

"Actually, Yen Sid, we had no part to play in Trigon's return. He played no part in our plan for the Keyblade War after all," Xehanort said, surprising both the wizard and king.

"You…had nothing to do with this?" Mickey asked.

"I believe I just said that, your Majesty," Young Xehanort answered sarcastically. Mickey gritted his teeth and was about to attack the time traveler but Yen Sid stopped him.

"If you what you say is true, then why are you here?" Yen Sid asked.

"Not only will Trigon come for the Realm of Light but he will also come for us. That is why we are offering a temporary truce, until Trigon is banished once again," Xehanort offered. "He is a great threat and it will take more than the Guardians you have on deck to defeat him. Once he is gone, we can go back to the matter that is soon to be at hand," Young Xehanort replied. Yen Sid and Mickey share a glance in response.

"We are shorthanded, Mickey. As much as we despise it, we need their help to stop this monster," Yen Sid replied. Mickey lowered his head before de-summoning his keyblade.

"I'll…let Donald and Goofy know. Then we'll head to the worlds and warn everybody," He replied. He walked past Young Xehanort while exchanging a glare but stopped in front of the door.

"What about Sora? There has to be something we can do for him," Mickey asked. In response, Yen Sid turned to the sliver-haired man.

"Xehanort, is it possible for you to enter the world and possibly assist Sora?" The great wizard asked.

"No, it is as you said before. Trigon will not allow any outworlder to enter or exit. Unless he can find a way to stop Trigon, Sora is on his own," Young Xehanort replied, making everyone worried for what's to come.

(Meanwhile, with Sora)

Darkness seemed to surround Sora's body when he slowly opened his eyes. He let out a cough as suddenly the rubble on top of him fell apart, brightening the small crater that he was laying in. He slowly sits up and looks around only for his eyes to widened in shock and horror at the sight before him. Up above, the sky was blood-red, the ground was splintered and cracked, and all the buildings surrounding him were destroyed and stood as skeleton skyscrapers. He slowly stood up while cradling his head before making his way through the destroyed block.

"This…t-this is a nightmare. I…I wish I could've done more," Sora quietly said to himself. He kept going through the now quiet and desolate town until he came upon another horrendous sight. "Oh my-no," Sora said. In front of him stood several townsfolk, all now turned to stone and frozen in place on the street he was walking on. "All these people," He quietly said to himself, continuing past the frozen people, looking for any possible sign of life. He kept going when suddenly a shadow flew past over his head, making him look up in surprise.

"Hello! Anyone there?" He asked, his voice echoing across the barren city. Suddenly, a big, black bird flew down from the roof and lands on top of a destroyed car, its red eyes fixed on him. Sora squinted his eyes in question while slowly approaching it. "Raven?" he asked it. In response, the bird let out a caw and took off into the air. "Wait! Please come back!" Sora yelled, as he took off after the bird. It soon flew up to the tallest tower, though now it was bent and distorted in odd angles. He quickly ran up the side of it with Flowmotion until he reached the top, only to see nothing there, the bird now long gone. Letting out a heavy sigh, Sora walked to the end of the roof and fell to his knees at the edge as he took in the sight of the destroyed city around him. He reached into his pocket and pulled out Raven's necklace and lucky charm, looking down at them with tears in his eyes.

"Raven…I'm-I'm sorry," Sora quietly said, clutching them to his chest as tears fell from his face and to the ground far below. Suddenly, the edge he was on began to crack and splinter before breaking clean in half, making him fall as well. Suddenly, a familiar white and blue armored hand reached down and grabbed him before he fell. Sora looked up in shock to see Cyborg up above, holding him by the forearm.

"I gotcha!" Cyborg said. Sora lightly smiled as he was pulled back up.

"We're glad you made it," Cyborg said as Robin, Starfire, Rose, Stitch, and Beast Boy landed behind him. Sora smiled and sniffled while wiping away his tears.

"You're all here," Sora quietly replied. Stitch quickly jumped over and licked Sora's face, making him lightly laugh while Rose gave him a comforting hug. Starfire also hugged him in a crushing hug.

"Are you okay?" She asked, worried. Sora took a breath while cleaning his face.

"I-I don't know. I mean, I'm fine but…I can't believe that it actually happened," Sora said, breaking the hug.

"Us too," Robin replied, looking out towards the city.

"I also saw something. A-a bird of some kind. I followed it here." Sora said, looking around for the bird, only to see nothing.

"It led all of us here…almost all of us," Beast Boy said, his ears drooping. Sora slowly reached into his pocket and pulled out the lucky penny, handing it to the green Titan, surprising him. "I thought it-" Beast Boy said.

"I managed to grab it before…everything," Sora said. Beast Boy took it in his hands before pocketing it away.

"It actually happened, all over the world," Rose said, sadly.

"And we're the only ones left," Cyborg replied.

"But how is this possible? How have we survived?" Starfire asked.

"It was Raven. She saved us. I don't know how but she did," Beast Boy suggested.

"That must be what she did back at the Tower when she knocked us out. She said 'be safe'," Sora said.

"She must've did something. Something that protected us from Trigon's attack," Robin said.

"As if it matters. Look around. There's nothing left. What's the point?" Cyborg asked the question on everyone's mind.

"Hope," Sora spoke up, making everyone look to him. "Hope is the point. We're still here, which means we still have a chance to stop him and that's why no matter what, we're going to keep fighting. For Raven," Sora said, holding his hand out with the palm down. Stitch climbed down from his shoulder and placed his small hand on top of Sora's/

"Raven," Stitch said. Everyone got closer and began to place their hands on Sora's.

"For Raven," Rose said.

"For Raven," Robin said.

"For Raven," Starfire said.

"For Raven," Cyborg said.

"For Raven," Beast Boy said but as soon as he placed his hand on top of everyone else's, a flash of white light appeared before creating a small ball of crackling energy similar to Raven's. The force of the energy then explodes, pushing everyone away.

"Okay, that felt weird," Cyborg spoke out as everyone inspected their hands. Suddenly, black fireballs flared in each one of their hands.

"Raven…," Sora said, holding it close to his chest.

"She may not have been able to stop Trigon from coming…but she left us a way to fight him. She gave us some of her power," Robin replied.

"And it grows stronger when we stand as one," Starfire said, making everyone smile.

"Luckily, we have the perfect target to test it on," Rose said.

(Later, at the Titans Tower)

The team flew over to Titans Tower, which now rested on a rock in the middle of flowing lava and was now acting as Trigon's personal throne. The center of the building was completely gauged out and the horizontal arms of the T were being used as arm rests for him and even from far away, they could see that he was growing bigger with every breath he took. Starfire was the first to strike with multiple starbolts and fire spells from her keyblade, Robin and Ravager throw multiple exploding discs and knives, Beast Boy, as a pterodactyl, flies Cyborg in to fire missiles from his keyblades and Sora flies in with Stitch on his shoulder as they both fire projectiles from their weapons. All these projectiles hit Trigon but do absolutely nothing to him as the team lands on a stone rock.

"Trigon! Stand up and fight!" Robin yelled out as the demon's four red eyes bore down on them.

"INSIGNIFICANT INSECTS," Trigon replied, making them all grit their teeth.

"I think it's time we hit him hard," Ravager said.

"You're positive we're not going to accidently microwave our brains?" Beast Boy asked, making everyone shake their heads no.

"I used Raven's powers when Puppet Master attacked. It all depends on emotions . The more we feel, the more energy is unleashed," Sora said.

"In other words, get angry!" Cyborg declared as they all begin to join hands while black sparks emanated from the connections. Soon a ring of energy began to circle their feet as Raven's power surged through their bodies, making them all go stiff and outlining them in white. They're soon lifted into the air in front of Trigon while focusing the energy to a single point.

"AZARATH METRION ZINTHOS!" Everyone shouted together as a beam of black energy fired from the center of their formation and hit Trigon right in the chest, making him roar in pain while squirming on the Tower. The team continued to focus until the beam subsided and Trion slumped forward with his eyes closed. Everyone smiled at the sight until Trigon suddenly opened his eyes with a cruel smirk, shocking them all as the energy had no effect on him.

"YOU MAY THINK IT WISE TO ATTACK ME WHILE I GATHER MY STRENGTH, BUT AS YOU CAN SEE, NOT EVEN A FAREWELL BLESSING FROM MY DAUGHTER CAN HELP YOU. BE GONE," Trigon retorted. Suddenly, his eyes blazed before firing four red, beams of energy at the team. Raven's shield once again forms up to protect them but the resulting force of the impact sent all the Titans flying and sailing across Jump City. They soon started falling out of the sky and landed in the remains of the chamber where Trigon rose. Each Titan slowly began to get up from the ground while Sora rubs his head from the impact until he noticed the necklace and lucky charm missing from his pockets. He frantically looked around for them while the team regrouped.

"Guess that wasn't angry enough," Cyborg said, trying to lighten the mood but failing.

"Of all the places to crash and burn…why'd it have to be here?" Beast Boy asked. Sora kept looking around until he finally found them, resting at the base of the destroyed staircase. His face turned into a saddened frown as he kneeled down to pick them up.

"Please, I wish to leave," Starfire said, her voice echoing across the chamber.

"And go where? The whole world is toast. And the only person who'd know what to do is-" Cyborg ranted but Rose silenced him with a weak punch to the shoulder.

"Cyborg!" She said, while pointing towards Sora. Everyone turned to see him slowly going up the staircase while holding the necklace and charm.

"We could really use her help right now," Cyborg said. Sora soon reached the top of the stairs and looked across the blackened pit that used to be the pillar. Robin followed him up and placed a comforting hand on his back while Stitch cuddled closer to Sora's neck.

"I know what we saw…but I still can't believe it," Robin said.

"I-I know. It-it just doesn't feel real. It doesn't feel like she's gone completely," Sora said.

"That's because she isn't," A familiar voice echoed across the chamber and everyone turned to a small, shadowed, arch where an armored, orange and black, criminal mastermind emerged from the darkness, his single eye looking out towards them all, though he no longer bared the Mark of Scath on his forehead.

"Slade," Sora yelled, his eyes going yellow in anger. The masked criminal didn't response and kept walking towards them. Quick as a flash, Rose threw multiple knives at her father, who doesn't move as the blades bounce off his armor or stab into the floor next to his feet. He was about to move again when suddenly Beast Boy as a triceratops, rams into him and drives him into a nearby wall. The green Titan shows no mercy and rams into him again before backing up and rejoining the others, who grouped up together again. The Titans ready themselves as the dust clears only to see Slade fall to his knees before them, surprising them.

"What's the matter, Slade? Giving up already?" Robin remarked while Beast Boy turns back into a human.

"Sorry to disappoint you, Robin but I'm not here to fight. I'm here to help," Slade said, standing back up.

"We don't need your help! Not after everything you've done!" Rose said.

"Yes, daughter. You seem to have everything under control. Raven can still be saved," Slade said. Suddenly, Sora roared as he lunged forward and slammed Slade into the wall again while darkness rose from his body. Stitch quickly leaped from Sora's shoulder to Rose's in response as Sora summons dark claws to his hands.

"STOP LYING! YOU TOOK HER FROM US! T-TOOK HER FROM ME!" Sora screamed in anger and sadness while tears fell from his yellow eyes.

"You will not dishonor our friend with your trickery!" Starfire said, readying her keyblade.

"Whatever you're selling, we're not buying!" Cyborg declared.

"Think of me what you will. But what Trigon did, even I wouldn't wish on this world," Slade retorted.

"It's a bit too late for 'I'm sorry' father!" Rose said.

"You mistake my generosity for regret, Rose," Slade said but was silenced by Sora slamming him into the wall again and scratching near his helmet with his claws.

"You're not helping your own case, Slade," Sora growled out.

"I only offer my assistance to you now because it suits me. Just as I thought working with Trigon would suit me," Slade commented. Sora gritted his teeth again in anger until Robin placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Let him go, Sora," Robin said, calmly. The keyblade wielder slowly let out a breath before releasing Slade, who simply adjusted his neck and armor.

"But we saw Raven become the portal. She was destroyed," Starfire said, relaxing but keeping her blade out.

"Raven has fulfilled the prophecy of her birth. That part of her existence is complete. But another part of the prophecy still remains…for the moment that is," Slade said.

"Another part? You mean there was a second part of the prophecy?" Robin asked.

"Precisely, Robin. A part that Trigon did not want to be publicly known. 'Once he has taken this world, the love between the Guardian of Light and the Gem of Darkness will destroy him. They have arrived to save, they have arrived to protect…the end of the Demon's reign' And I don't think its difficult to guess who the Guardian is," Slade said, as everyone turned to Sora, who has since lost the dark aura and returned to his normal self.

"Me? I'm the Guardian?" Sora asked.

"I mean, it's not that hard to figure out, and that's coming from me," Beast Boy said, everyone shrugging in agreement.

"But how? How did Trigon know that I would come here and fall in love with Raven?" Sora asked Slade.

"Trigon is able to see any place at any time. He looked forward and saw that you would come here," Slade explained.

"So that's why you say she can still be saved. Because of her connection to Sora," Rose said and Slade nodded in response.

"Why are you doing this? What's in it for you?" Robin asked.

"My reasons are my own. Do you want your friend back or not?" Slade said, walking past everybody.

"Just tell us where she is, and we'll take it from there," Cyborg exclaimed.

"There will be no 'we'. This is a journey only Sora can take," Slade said.

"No deal! She's our friend. All of us are going!" Beast Boy argued.

"Then your friend is doomed to oblivion. As I said, Trigon is all-seeing. His mind can be anywhere at any time. For us to succeed, Trigon's attention must be occupied," Slade said.

"And how do you expect us to do so, father? We tried to face him already and that failed," Rose retorted.

"It's the end of the world. Did you think it would be easy?" Slade said, turning to face them all. "I don't expect you to win. I don't even expect you to live-only endure," He replied. Sora looked down in thought before turning to face Slade.

"I'll go," Sora said.

"Sora, no," Starfire said, worried.

If there's even the smallest chance to save Raven, I'm taking it. I'm not going to leave her in whatever state she's in," Sora said, making everyone scared for his safety.

"The journey to this world has taken much of Trigon's power," Slade spoke up while holding his fist up. "With this, you might be able to survive," He said, opening his hand, revealing a gold ring with red inscriptions on it. "It's a ring of Azar, forged by the same order that imprisoned Trigon. I know from experience that it works," Slade said. Robin took it from him as Sora walked closer to him and the team.

"You guys got this. And I know in my heart we'll see each other again," Sora said as he shared hugs with Rose and Starfire.

"It may get ugly but don't worry. We'll keep him busy," Cyborg said while Beast Boy jumped onto his back.

"Yeah. Just wait til Trigon gets slapped with my patented Wet Willie Maneuver!" The green Titan, coating his index finger with saliva, disgusting Cyborg.

"He won't even see it coming," Sora joked. Robin soon walked up to him, taking his hand in a shake.

"Be safe and bring her back," Robin said.

"I will and you too, Rob," Sora said before turning to Stitch, who was still with Rose. "Stitch, you'll probably be safe with them," Sora said.

"Nu-uh," The blue alien said, quickly jumping onto his shoulder. "We go together," Stitch replied, making the boy smile in response.

"Your goodbyes are really quite touching but we have work to do," Slade said, walking past them all to a nearby staircase that lead further down into the Earth. Sora and Stitch shared a last look with Rose, who returned it with a look of worry. "Sora," Slade sharply said, making the keyblade wielder take a breath and walk over to Slade with Stitch on his shoulder. Before he left, Sora turned and shared one last look with his team.

"I'm bringing her back. I promise," Sora said and with that; Sora, Slade and Stitch began their long descent down the stairs as it lead them deep into the shaft and below the chamber where Trigon rose. After going down the spiral stairs, the three found themselves standing on a sheer cliff high above the lava down below. In front of them stood a large stone double door bound in iron, branded with the Mark of Scath, and above it was a large hood with eyeholes carved out. Sora stared at the door in awe while Stitch let out a small whimper.

"I know Stitch. I know," Sora said, scratching his fur to calm him down.

"Before we continue, a warning. If we succeed, I can't guarantee you'll like what you find," Slade spoke up.

"We're not leaving without her, Slade," Sora said, determined. Together, they walked up and with a big push, opened the door as white light flooded from inside, making them squint their eyes. Once the doors are fully opened, the three walk in to see a corridor ahead of them lined with large stone statues carved into ravens that glowed with orange light. They walk past the stones before stopping at a ledge that looked out across a huge ravine, glowing with orange lava flowing from the walls and into a river at the bottom. Near the river laid a small rowboat that could be used to cross the ravine.

(Meanwhile, with Trigon)

The great demon continued to rest on the remains of Titan's Tower while regaining his lost power. Suddenly, Beast Boy, as a small hummingbird, flew towards him and quickly darted into Trigon's left ear. He took a breath before changing into a humpback whale, waking the demon from his nap while roaring in pain and trying to claw the changeling out of his ear. He stumbles off the Tower and into the lava-filled bay while the rest of the Titans flew in and launched bombardments onto Trigon, who used a shield to reflect the projectiles back, making them all take cover and land on a nearby rock.

"I believe we have obtained his attention," Starfire spoke up. Meanwhile, Beast Boy, as a hummingbird again, soon flew out and landed on a rock, quickly turning into a dog and shaking himself to clean off the ear muck he was covered in. He turned back into a human while running his hands through his hair.

"Just remind me not to do that again. Demon earwax is way beyond nasty," Beast Boy said. After cleaning up, the green Titan turned around, only to meet Trigon's angered face staring right at him. The rest of team group up around Beast Boy as Trigon stands to his full height and belches out a huge stream of fire towards them, cutting across the lava and the rock they were standing on, making smoke rise from the shot. As it clears, Trigon's eyes slightly widened to see them protected by a red shield and he looks closer to see the Ring of Azar shining on Robin's knuckles.

"YOU CARRY A RING OF AZAR. NO DOUBT A RELIC FROM A FORMER MINION," Trigon said, while sitting back down on the Tower. "IT MATTERS NOT. FIGHTING YOU IS BENEATH ME," Trigon mocked as his four eyes glowed red. Suddenly, a large Mark of Scath appeared on the rock the Titans were standing on as they suddenly found themselves being electrocuted with red sparks. It felt like something was being ripped out of them until with a flash, they were tossed to the farther side of the rock as smoke filled the spot they were standing on earlier. Each Titan slowly got up to see the smoke fading, only for their eyes to widened in shock and horror. Standing before them were copies of them, only they're skin was grayed out and their eyes blazed red. The team could only stare in shocked horror at the copies.

"No way," Ravager said, shocked.

"Heh, I always figured I was taller," Beast Boy joked nervously while Trigon's laughed echoed across the bay.

"I MAY BE THE SOURCE OF ALL DARKNESS BUT YOU ARE YOUR OWN WORST ENEMIES," Trigon retorted to the team. Suddenly, Nega Robin leaped towards and landed in front of the original.

"Raven and Sora weren't the only ones with dark sides," Nega Robin spoke in a dark tone, scaring Robin. Suddenly, the copy performed a spin kick, sending Robin tumbling away and shocking the rest of the team. Nega Robin leaped after the original while the rest of the Nega Titans engaged with their originals: Starfire and Nega Starfire take off into the air while trading starbolts with one another; Cyborg and Nega Cyborg end up in arm lock until the copy manages to break it and punch Cyborg in the jaw, sending him flying; Beast Boy and Nega Beast Boy share a standoff before they both turned into king cobras and wrapped around each other with fangs barred; Ravager and Nega Ravager both draw blades and begin dueling each other in bladed combat.

(Meanwhile, with Sora, Stitch, and Slade)

"So, why did you join Trigon? From all the encounters we had, you're usually not the following type. Was it just for more power?" Sora asked, as the three climbed into the rowboat. Slade worked the rowing pole while Sora took the rudder and together, the three sailed across the lava river.

"Not everything is so cut and dry, Sora," Slade responded.

"Cut and dry or not, you still let the world be destroyed for your own wants," Sora said, looking at the magma spouts coming stone ravens above them.

"With or without me, there was no stopping this," Slade replied, cool as always.

"But you still helped! You terrorized Raven the whole time, burned down a small part of the city, tortured us and brought her right into Trigon's hands. And now everyone is hurting from both his and your actions!" Sora yelled in anger.

"It's what I do best," Slade calmly said again, making Sora grit his teeth when he noticed something ahead of them. Slade followed his gaze and stopped the boat as the fire creatures from before emerged from the lava river and surrounded the boat. Sora summoned his keyblade, Stitch pulled out his blasters, and Slade wielded the pole as a fighting staff. The fire creatures latched out with their arms to strike at them but the three quickly jumped out of the boat and began to attack the creatures. Sora threw his keyblade in a strike raid, destroying three creatures while Stitch covered him with his blasters, shooting two creatures away. The keyblade wielder sliced a few more creatures away while turning his keyblade into claws and slashing away at a few more while Stitch leaped over him and shot a few more creatures. Before landing back on Sora, who created a small Blizzard shield to knock the creatures away.

Meanwhile, Slade backflipped into the air and twirled the pole in front of him to block the incoming appendages from the creatures before landing a short distance from where he was, swinging the pole around to destroy the creatures before hopping to another rock. He keeps swinging around him before stabbing one end into the lava and pole vaults to a nearby high rock. Sora and Stitch soon join as the two protect each other from the creatures, eventually getting back to back while more creatures spawned.

"Only a minor setback. Nothing three old friends can't handle," Slade said.

"We're not friends," Sora said, turning his keyblade into a sword and shield. More lashes were sent there way as the three jumped from the high rock. Slade lands on another rock and destroys one creature when another arm wrapped around the pole, making a tug-of-war ensue between him and the creature. The criminal was nearly dragged into the lava river before him when Sora took notice and threw his shield at the creature, destroying it and freeing Slade. The masked man turned his head towards Sora as a small sign of thanks until Stitch destroyed two more creatures, protecting the two. Sora quickly called his shield back while he and Slade hop onto nearby stone banks and leap to more sets, all while avoiding more lashes and strikes from the creatures. The three continue to cover each other's backs, with Sora slashing and bashing with his sword and shield, Slade spinning his staff to defend from the lashing arms, and Stitch shooting any that got close.

Sora turns his weapons back into the keyblade as he and Slade both throw their weapons at another group of creatures, destroying them but embedding the keyblade and pole into a nearby wall. Slade places his hands together and Sora jumps on as the masked criminal propels Sora towards the wall. The keyblade wielder lands on his feet on the wall and pulls the keyblade and pole out, dual-wielding them both as Stitch covered Slade, though the criminal was faring pretty well with his own skills. Sora slashed and bashed before creating a huge blast of Blizzard around him, destroying more of the creatures. Sora tosses the pole back to Slade and the two continue fighting until all creatures were destroyed, leaving the three standing on a high ledge. They all take a breath when suddenly another creature jumps out to attack them. Slade ducks and Sora shoots a small Blizzard spell at it, destroying it.

"You said we had to work together," Sora retorted.

"Old habits die hard," Slade coolly stated. Suddenly, another creature rose up behind him and lashes out towards him, the arm hitting Slade right in the face and knocking his mask clean off. Sora and Stitch don't see his face while the keyblade wielder threw his blade at the creature, destroying it. Slade remained kneeling for a second, his back turned to the two.

"Slade?" Sora asked, concerned. He's seen the criminal take much worse than a strike to the face. In response, the criminal stands back up and slowly turns toward him, the sight making both Sora and Stitch cover their mouths in horror and shock. Instead of a normal human face hidden underneath the mask, there was now a skinless skull, gray and cracked. The right eye socket was empty and the left eye was a low, flamed red, glaring at whatever crossed his sight. There was no nose and his teeth were set in a grimace of anger. "Oh…woah, Slade," Sora said shocked. He was no stranger to walking, talking skeletons, heck he fought skeleton pirates in one of his favorite worlds. But all along he imagined Slade to be a normal human, though slightly enhanced. He wasn't expecting this underneath that mask. The man didn't say anything at first as he retrieved his mask and placed it back on, his red eye turning back into white.

"I'd rather you hadn't seen that. It's really only a temporary condition," Slade stated.

"W-what are you? What happened to you?" Sora asked, while Stitch tried to get over his surprise. Slade simply walked past him.

"Let's just say I'm currently incomplete. Time is running out. We must keep moving," Slade replied.

"No. I want to know why you're doing all this, Slade. Either that, or you're going by yourself," Sora said, de-summoning his keyblade and standing there while Stitch put his blasters away. Slade stopped in his place and turned to face the two when suddenly they heard more hissing coming from the river and they looked down to see more creatures arising. Slade simply closed his eyes before motioning for them to follow him.

"It seems my luck with apprentices is most unfortunate," Slade began as Sora and Stitch walked behind him. "You and Terra's betrayal should have been my demise. But I got lucky. Someone was looking out for me that day," Slade explained.

"Trigon," Sora guessed and Slade nodded.

"'Heed my command, and I will return what you have lost' he said. It was a simple arrangement, actually. Do a few chores, and I get back my flesh and blood. And I must admit, the fringe benefits were most enjoyable," Slade continued, making Sora remember the encounters he had with a powered-up Slade. "A pity things didn't work out as planned," Slade finished as they entered a new cavern.

"He didn't give you his humanity back? That's…," Sora said, stopping slightly to process this new information before continuing.

"The moral of this story? Never make a deal with an interdimensional demon without a little protection," Slade finished.

"So, we're not just here to save Raven. We're here to save you too," Sora said. Slade stopped and turned to face the two.

"A deal's a deal," he said before continuing.

"Slade. What I said back there…I'm-" Sora said but the criminal interrupted him.

"Save your pity, Sora. I don't regret serving Trigon, I only regret hoping that he would hold up his end of the deal. Now, we must press forward," Slade said. Sora sighed while Stitch gnashed his teeth toward the undead man as they continued behind him.

(Meanwhile, back on the surface)

It was an all out doppelganger fight between the Titans and the Nega Titans and Trigon was enjoying the sight from his Tower throne: on a street, Beast Boy was locked in a changeling duel with his copy; the two constantly changing back and forth between animals until the copy turned into an elephant. In response, Beast Boy turned into a small mouse, making the copy fall over and crash into the ground behind him. The original turned back into a human and looked down to see the copy as a human, now rubbing his head.

"Is that all you got?" Beast Boy quipped. The copy glared at him before lunging at him in anger.

In the destroyed city, Cyborg crashed onto a rooftop and rolled off the side, landing on the ground in a crash. Not soon after he landed, he heard his copy falling right towards him and he quickly moved out of the way as Nega Cyborg crash landed, shaking half the street. The two share a face off before trading clashes and punches with their keyblades until the copy lands a good strike, sending Cyborg sliding across the ground. He groans and is about to get up when he sees a few sparks coming from his left shoulder.

"Thirty-five. That's how many weak spots you have. That was number eleven," Nega Cyborg taunted before flexing his fingers in a 'bring it on' gesture. Cyborg accepted the gesture and the two once again clashed until Nega Cyborg turned his keyblade into a giant fist and used it to grab the original, slam him into the ground and toss him into a nearby building.

Meanwhile, up in the air, Starfire and her copy were flying all around trading starbolts and magic spells from their keyblades. Nega Starfire soon gets close and lands a strike on the Titan, making her take off into the air and shoot at the copy with everything she had. The copy manages to dodge a few before getting shot in the gut by an eye blast, making her crash in the bay. Smoke surrounds them before revealing the two standing on rocks, across from one another.

"Are you worried about Sora? Should I tell Trigon where he is?" Nega Starfire taunted.

"You will do no such thing!" Starfire said as her eyes glowed green. Once again they take off into the air and attack one another, the two of them going so fast that they appear as bright streaks going across the red sky.

Down on the rooftops, Ravager and Nega Ravager jumped from one building to the next, trading explosive knives back and forth until one knife landed next to the original, and sending her flying and crashing on an edge.

"Hmph, you're slow. Makes sense, friends do slow you down, right?" Nega Ravager taunted. Ravager gritted her teeth and pulled out her blades, charging with a battle cry. The copy did the same as the two clashed over and over, constantly flipping and dodging in order to gain an advantage over the other. Eventually, Nega Ravager knocked the blades out of the original's hands and kicked her towards the edge. " Be honest, if you were still with father, you'd never lose a single battle. You had everything and now here you are," Nega Ravager replied, aiming her blade at the original's neck. Ravager quickly reached behind her and grabbed her bo-staff, using it to quickly disarm the copy and bash her towards the edge of the roof.

"No, I only had a bad father and nothing to truly fight for. Now I do," Ravager said, as she used her staff to bash the copy clean off the roof. Just as quickly, the copy pulled out a grappling hook and shot it around the original's waist, pulling her off as well. The two soon crashed on a destroyed car but quickly recovered as the copy pulled out her own bo-staff.

Meanwhile, on another street, Robin and his copy were also launching explosive discs towards the other but they both dodged the explosions. Robin threw multiple birdarangs but the copy quickly blocked them with his keyblade. Robin drew his in response and the two clashed as well until Nega Robin landed a kick, sending the original tumbling to the ground.

"You can't win? Just give up," Nega Robin said. Robin quickly jumped to his feet and threw some smoke discs at the copy, who stood still as the original landed, losing track of the copy. "It doesn't matter what you do anymore. No matter how much you try, even with your team, you will never be as good as him," Nega Robin said, his voice echoing from the smoke. Robin quickly turned around to see the copy leaping towards him with red bo-staff ready to swing. Robin quickly dodged the strike and kicked the copy in the gut, sending him crashing through a building window, with the Boy Wonder soon following him.

(Meanwhile, back in the depths of the Earth)

Sora, Stitch, and Slade continue down a narrow trail in a new cavern with streams of magma flowing into the lava river down below. They keep going when suddenly the ledge Slade was on crumbles away, making him slide down the face of the rock, crash into another nearby ledge and land hard onto another, where a bridge laid in front of him. Soon, Sora and Stitch land next to him as the keyblade wielder offers a hand. Slade looks at the hand for a second but ignores it as he gets up slowly and rubs his arm in pain.

"You must be overjoyed to see me like this, Sora. Desperate. Weak. Vulnerable," Slade said.

"I'm not enjoying this Slade. I just want to save Raven," Sora said when he noticed the bridge and the ledge before the two. "Which way now?" He asked.

"I'm afraid this is where we part company," Slade said, surprising the boy and alien. " You'll find your friend along that path," Slade said, pointing towards the ledge.

"What about you?" Sora asked, confused.

"What I seek is in a somewhat hotter place," Slade said, heading towards the bridge.

"Wait, that's it? I expected a little more than just 'go this way'," Sora said, making Slade stop.

"I kept my word. How about a little gratitude?" Slade asked in a mocking tone. Sora thought it over before taking a breath.

"Slade…after everything you've done to us, to Raven, Rose and Terra…and helping Trigon…I can still say…thanks, for helping us this time. But the next time we meet…" Sora said.

"I wouldn't expect anything less, Sora," Slade said, walking across the bridge. Stitch let out a soft growl in reply as Sora walked across the ledge. The path lead him through a small cave that glowed with orange light and through a patch of stone before reaching a huge chasm, covered in jagged spikes, the path now had blazing torch sets on the sides, each one with a distorted human face carved into them. Stitch curled closer to Sora in response, while the boy scratched his head to comfort him. They soon reached the last of the torch sets and past them, until they suddenly turned into the fire demons. Quick as a flash, Sora summons his keyblade and slices one into pieces. A few of the torches turned into fire demons that blocked his path.

"Out of my way!" Sora said, changing his keyblade into Cloud's keyblade. He then summoned three ethereal blades around him, and one-by-one, he struck each creature down, utilizing each blade and his own until the entire area was clear.

Good job!" Stitch said, giving two thumbs up.

"Thanks Stitch. C'mon, I feel like we're getting close," Sora said. The two soon reached a now destroyed cathedral, the walls caved in to show the support beams and the interior can be seen. Sora soon reached the doors to see Trigon's mark on it and he pushed it open to see smashed columns and destroyed glass windows on either side. His footsteps echoed across the temple as he slowly looked around for anyone.

"Hello? Is anybody here?" Sora asked, his voice echoing across the chasm. He keeps looking around when suddenly a white shape darts in and out of view.

"Sora, there!" Stitch said, pointing to the right. The keyblade wielder quickly took off after the shape only to see it was a white cloak, being worn by someone.

"Raven?! Raven!" Sora said, hoping that it was her. He managed to keep up with the figure until they tumble to the ground and hide underneath the cloak. He walks up to them and pulls the cloak away, only for his eyes to widen in surprise. "R-Raven?" He asked confused.

The girl underneath the cloak was indeed Raven but instead of being the teenager that she was when she opened the portal, she was now a scared, eight or nine year old girl, with face and hair to match. She had on the same clothes but they were now white instead of dark blue and her sleeves stopped at her elbows.

"Who…who are you?" The now young Raven asked, terrified of Sora and Stitch.

To be continued…

Wow! That reaaaaaally took longer than I wanted it to. I'm so sorry for the long wait everybody! On top of my little break and everything else going on, I just never got time to brainstorm or write as much as I wanted to. Especially with everything going on in this chapter because holy cow there is a lot! Now onto the reviews:

NinjaFang1331: Thank you! Glad you enjoyed part 1 and I hope you enjoyed part 2!

Kegeto: Thank you! I'm happy that you enjoyed the chapter and I hope you love this one!

Darkmaster1000000: Just Xehanort for now but the others will come around.

Sliverking619: Well thank you for the love and I'm so happy that your enjoying the story overall. I'm also happy that you got to know Rose Wilson through this story since she's a pretty interesting character but doesn't get a lot of notice as Ravager.

Tmp114: In a way, yes, since their hearts will always be connected to one another.

Perturbedork: Hopefully, he will. He seems to be doing a good job so far. Glad you liked the chapter.

Althea Sirus: Very interesting indeed, huh?

Khy Dragon: Your fine and yes, may they rest in peace. And yes he is.

EbayUserGreen: Yeah…she is. Can't wait though.

Guest1: Probably not for Season 5 since it is Beast Boy's arc and some of them are pretty important.

XenoBlaze: Well, I'm glad you stumbled upon this story and I'm so happy to hear that you loved this story all around. I loved both Kingdom Hearts and Teen Titans growing up and I never really saw a good crossover for them, so I thought why not and now here we are at the 50th chapter. Thank you so much for the love and the support, my friend.

Coco Baldwin: Thanks, glad that you love it and how Sora interacts with the team.

Khy Dragon2: Happy Halloween my friend.

DanDrake: I got a little help from a fellow reviewer in the ideas and they suggested in simply enhance the parts of where the Titans excel: Raven in magic, Cyborg in transformation, Starfire in fire spells, Beast Boy in cure and others, Robin in strength and speed and Sora being the in-between and stronger with the keyblade than the others. And I have a plan for the KH3 segment that will kinda work around that, hopefully.

Wow, 50th chapter. I remember when I wrote the first chapter and just simply having Sora hang with the Titans in their episodes but with help from all of you, it grew to be something more. So, I just wanna say thank you all so much for giving this story a chance, sticking with it and giving me advice and/or ideas to keep me going. I hope you all enjoyed the chapter, of Sora grieving for Raven, working with Slade, the Nega Titans(including Robin and Ravager) Xehanort working with the Guardians of Light, and all the rest. As always, if you guys enjoyed the chapter, please favor and follow to stay updated, if you have any ideas or opinions, please post a review or PM me at any time. I hope you guys are staying safe and I'll see you guys in the next chapter. PEACE!
