Chapter 53: Homecoming Part 2
(Amazon Jungle Clearing, Nighttime)
The Teen Titans and the Doom Patrol were all huddled under the T-Ship to protect them from the heavy rainstorm above them, along with a tarp and a fire in between them. As lightning and thunder boomed above them, Mento began telling the young heroes about their foes.
"For as long as there has been a Doom Patrol, we have fought the Brotherhood of Evil. Criminals of the worst kind, and our greatest foes," Mento said.
"Are there more besides The Brain and the gorilla?" Sora asked.
"Lot's more kid," Robot Man replied, his arms crossed over his metal chest.
"There are four main members of the Brotherhood," Mento said, pressing a button on his forearm as a nearby monitor turned on to show the Brotherhood members. The image zoomed onto a bald, old man garbed in a blue military uniform.
"General Immortus. Known as the forever solider. He knows the strategy of every battle in history, because he was there to see it," Mento said. The image then switched to a woman with black, chin-length hair and dressed in a red and black jumpsuit.
"Madame Rouge, duplicitous, cunning and twisted in every sense of the word," Mento continued.
"What can she do?" Ravager asked.
"She can change her shape and appearance at will. Makes it hard to take her down," Elasti-Girl said.
"Also, a complete pain to track her down. Every time we got close, she would just change into a guard and escape," Negative Man spoke up. Mento clicked another button as the image changed to the gorilla.
"The gorilla. Monsieur Mallah. His strength is matched only by his intelligence," Mento continued. The monitor then switched to The Brain himself.
"Their leader is the Brain. Intellect personified, and evil incarnate," Mento said, glaring at the image of his nemesis.
"Please, what has happened to make him like…this?" Starfire asked.
"The only thing we know about the Brain is that he was a scientist that got caught in a lab explosion. His brain was the only thing that survived. The rest is history," Elasti-Girl said.
"And by now, he will have completed his greatest creation. The quantum generator," Mento said as the monitor zoomed in on the now completed machine. "Now the Brain can warp the very fabric of space-time and the devastating power of a blackhole is at his command. He must be stopped…or our very existence is doomed," Mento explained.
"Do we have any idea of their current location?" Robin asked.
"I have a clear picture, but we still need to pinpoint the general area," Mento said.
"I can help with that," Cyborg said, stepping up. He sat down at the monitor and started typing away, with the Doom Patrol leader at his side. A small bout of silence overtook the two teams as they searched for the Brotherhood of Evil's location until finally…
"There, stop," Mento said as Cyborg freeze-framed an image of a clear mountain range in the daytime. The teams crowded around the monitor and only the Titans shared a look of confusion.
"Mento, are you sure?" All these mountains look the same to me," Cyborg asked.
"I read the Brain's mind before they got away. I know where he's hiding. The quantum generator is there," Mento said, pointing at one of the mountains on the screen before turning back to his team, who were sitting around the fire along with Beast Boy. "Doom Patrol, listen up! Every second we delay gives the Brotherhood of Evil a chance to use their new weapon. It's time to move out!" Mento ordered.
"Already?" Beast Boy asked.
"There's no time to rest, Beast Boy. We'll be fine," Elasti-Girl said, standing up alongside Robot Man and Negative Man.
"You don't look fine," Beast Boy commented, standing up as well.
"What about air defenses? We so much as fly near their supposed base and we'll be shot out of the sky?" Ravager asked.
"Which is exactly why we're going on foot," Mento said.
"Wouldn't they be expecting that?" Raven asked.
"Yeah, they caught you last time, who's to say they don't have a plan for you now?" Sora spoke up.
"Then we'll fight through it. As we always do," Mento said as he walked over to Beast Boy and pulled out the green Titan's original mask that he wore when the Titans first met. "And when I say 'we', I mean the Doom Patrol. All of us," Mento said, handing the mask to the changeling, surprising his other team. Understanding what Mento was suggesting, Robin stepped up with the other Titans at his side.
"If Beast Boy goes, then so do we," Robin said.
"I really wouldn't go there. Trust me," Negative Man replied.
"You kids have no idea what we're up against," Robot Man said.
"Well, if it weren't for us kids, you'd still be captured, and you would still be shut down and hanging in a tree. So, it looks like you're going to need all the help you can get," Ravager spoke up, pointing at each Doom Patrol members. Robot Man leaned into their faces with an angered look.
"Listen up, punks! The little runt was in the Doom Patrol long before you got your paws on him! So, back off!" Robot Man yelled at them.
"Excuse me, but I don't see a sign saying, 'Property of the Doom Patrol'!" Cyborg yelled back. Pretty soon, arguments broke out across the entire team, leaving Sora and Beast Boy on the outside.
"Not again," Sora said, getting in between the teams. "Guys…guys, stop, please!" Sora said. Beast Boy stood off to the side while looking down at his mask and his two teams.
"I'll go," Beast Boy said quietly at first. His response went unnoticed as the two teams kept arguing back and forth. "I'll go," he said again a little louder but once again went unnoticed. "I SAID, I'LL GO!" Beast Boy yelled loudly, finally putting an end to the screaming match (or in Raven and Negative Man's case, quiet debating).
"Beast Boy, you don't have to do this," Robin said.
"Yeah, we'll find some way to convince Mento," Sora said. Beast Boy looked down and placed the mask on.
"Actually, I do," Beast Boy answered, while Mento walked behind him.
"Then it's settled. Doom Patrol, move out!" The leader ordered as he and the rest of the purple clad heroes vanished into the waiting forest. Beast Boy was the last to leave but not before turning to the Titans, who remained under the parked T-Ship.
"Don't worry, guys. I'll be fine," Beast Boy said, accompanied with a smile and a thumbs up. But they both disappeared very quickly as he ran to catch up with the Doom Patrol.
"Friends, there must be something we can do. We cannot just leave," Starfire said, worried.
"That's the last thing we're going to do, Starfire," Robin answered with a look of determination on his mask.
"You thinking of going after them?" Sora asked and was answered with a nod.
"Mento told us to stay out of it," Raven spoke up.
"Please, when have we ever listened to those kinds of orders?" Ravager asked.
"Yeah, and besides, we've been on crazy missions too and we never leave a fellow Titan behind," Cyborg said. Everyone shared a glance and nodded with a smile.
"Alright, let's go," Sora said. They quickly gathered up supplies for the journey and ran into the forest as night slowly turned to dawn.
(Later, in a small clearing in the forest)
Cyborg lead the team through the forest as they followed the trail of the Doom Patrol.
"Good thing BB kept his communicator. Wherever he goes, we can piggyback with the Doom Patrol," Cyborg said.
"Oh, I hope our little green friend and the Patrol of Doom are safe," Starfire replied.
"Beast Boy may be a clown, but he can handle himself," Raven said.
"I just hope Mento doesn't lead them to being captured again. That man is way too stubborn for his own good," Ravager replied.
"He's not wrong about being worried though. I used to be the same with Slade and I'd be worried too if he had this kind of power," Robin said.
"Yeah but you managed and learned from that. Mento just seems to lead them into dangerous mission after dangerous mission. Besides, Beast Boy didn't deserve that lecture earlier. He saved all of us," Sora said until he suddenly bumped into Cyborg, who stopped in place. "What is it?" Sora asked, rubbing his forehead while everyone crowded around Cyborg.
"Look there!" Cyborg replied, pointing towards the sky. Everyone followed his gaze to see a plume of smoke rising into the air
"Could that be them?," Raven asked.
"It could be. Let's go see," Sora said, running off in the direction of the smoke with his friends. They ran closer to the source until they reached a small open clearing where pieces of a giant sentry robot laid across the ground.
"They must've been ambushed," Robin said, inspecting a piece of debris. The other Titans looked around until Sora saw an orange piece of armor pinned under a sheet of metal.
"Guys, over here!" Sora shouted running over to it. The Titans joined him as Starfire lifted the sheet of metal over her head and tossed it aside, revealing Robot Man covered in burn marks and dents. Cyborg kneeled down and pulled a cable from his forearm and connected it to the Doom Patrol's chest panel. A screen appeared on his arm as he started typing away.
"Is he back in shutdown mode?" Ravager asked. Cyborg typed more until he got an answer.
"No…he seems to be in recovery mode. His body is repairing itself, but it looks like it takes some time," Cyborg said.
"Is there any way to speed up the process?" Raven asked.
"I could try. Hold on," Cyborg said, typing away on his panel. After a few keystrokes, Robot Man's body lit up like when they found him as the dents buffed out back to normal. The Doom Patroller opened his eyes widely and let out a breath and sat up from the ground.
"Oh, wha- what's going on?" Robot Man asked quickly.
"Whoa Robot Man. Easy," Sora said. The recovered robot looked around in confusion until he saw the destroyed sentry bot while Cyborg disconnected his cable.
"You…kids saved me? What are you doing here anyway?" Robot Man asked, standing up to his full height.
"Look, we don't care if you see us just kids," Robin spoke up.
"We've been through a lot just like you," Ravager said.
"And Beast Boy is our friend. We will always be concerned about him," Starfire said.
"So, drop the stubborn attitude and let us help you," Raven pointed out. Robot Man eyed each of them to see the same look of determination on each of them.
"You really care about him, huh?" Robot Man asked and he was answered with a nod.
"Doom Patrol or Teen Titan, he's still our friend and a friend never gets left behind," Cyborg said.
"Thanks. You kids, eh- I mean uh, Titans really came through for us. And sorry for…well everything," Robot Man replied, looking down.
"No need, not the first time someone underestimated us," Sora said, resting his hands behind his head with a smile, making the Doom Patroller smirk.
"Hhm, I can imagine," Robot Man replied.
"We should probably catch up with the others," Robin spoke up.
"They're gonna be cutting through the desert to get to the base. This way," Robot Man answered, running back into jungle with the Titans at his side.
(Later, in the desert area)
The Titans and Robot Man walked through the jungle and ended up at the beginning of the mass desert.
"They're gonna be heading towards the base of those mountains. If we hurry, we can catch up to them," Robot Man explained.
"Let's get moving," Sora said. They all started running/ flying through the desert until they heard Robin's communicator go off. He pulled it out as everyone crowded around him.
"Beast Boy?" Cyborg asked.
"Titans, come in. Do you read me?" The voice of Beast Boy called out, making them smile to hear his voice.
"Beast Boy! Where are you? Answer!" Robin said but the communication cut out just as quickly as it came in.
"Sounds like they're in trouble!" Sora yelled when suddenly the sound of tanks rolling by echoed across the desert.
"Sounds like tanks," Cyborg spoke up.
"That's definitely the old man. You'd think he retire at this point. C'mon," Robot Man said, charging ahead.
"Hopefully, Beast Boy is safe," Sora replied as he glided towards the explosions. They soon saw huge dust clouds and the shapes of tanks not too far off. Robot Man was the first to engage them as he knocked a tank over and picked it up to smash into another nearby vehicle. Sora landed on top of another tank and cut the cannon in half. He then shot the solider manning the tank out of the cockpit until he noticed another tank taking aim towards him. Before he could dodge out of the way, the tank was destroyed by a spell from Raven's keyblade. Sora sees her floating above him and the two share a smile and nod. Meanwhile, Robin and Ravager launch multiple discs and knives at the vehicles, electrocuting them and rendering them inoperable. Starfire and Cyborg combined projectiles and destroyed multiple tanks with sonic blasts and starbolts. The team soon destroyed all the tanks surrounding them.
"Must've been a patrol team," Robin said.
"Hhm, would've thought the good General had more tanks for me to smash," Robot Man said.
"If he did, where else would they have gone?" Sora asked. Everyone looked around for any sign of more tanks or recent battles.
"There!" Starfire yelled, pointing towards a small opening where more smoke bellowed out. The team quickly ran towards the opening to see faint tank tracks in the sand.
"Looks like Immortus pulled back his forces," Ravager said, looking at the footsteps and tracks. They kept looking around the canyon until Robot Man noticed something.
"Larry!" He yelled running further into the canyon. Everyone followed him to see the bandaged-wrapped Doom Patrol member kneeling on the ground, not even moving. The Titans gathered around him as Robot Man kneeled next to him. "Negative Man! Wake up please!" He begged his teammate.
"What's wrong with him?" Sora asked.
"His double. It didn't reach him. He doesn't have much time left!" Robot Man yelled, cradling his friend in his hands.
"Raven do you think you can find it?" Cyborg asked.
"On it," she said, floating into her meditation pose. "Azarath Metrion Zinthos," she chanted as her soul self-levitated above her and flew off for the nearest signature of negative energy. It flew around before suddenly diving straight into the sand. A moment passed until the soul self flew back up from the ground carrying Negative Man's duplicate and bringing it back to its original. A flash of light occurs as Negative Man's duplicate returns to its owner while Raven's soul self returns to her, both letting out breaths of relief as they stand up. Sora goes to check on her while Robot Man helped Negative Man up.
"That was…unpleasant," Negative Man said, wrapping his arms around his chest. He looked around until his eyes landed on his teammate. "Thought we lost you back there, Cliff," He replied.
"You know I'm not so easy to take down. But I owe them my thanks. So do the rest of us," Robot Man answered, gesturing towards the Titans, who stood off to the side. Negative Man nodded in gratitude towards them. "What happened, Larry?" Cliff asked.
"Ambush. Immortus was waiting for us with tanks and mines. Had to get rid of them so the others could keep going," Negative Man said, pointing further into the canyon.
"Let's keep moving. See if we can catch up to Beast Boy and the others," Robin said.
"You ready to travel again, Negative Man?" Sora asked.
"At this point, I'm used to it," Larry replied, walking along with Robot Man as they took the lead, with the Titans following them. They ran through the wide canyon but came to a stop when they saw a huge boulder blocking their path. The team inspected for a little while looking to see an alternate path but were short out of luck.
"You think you guys can move it?" Robin asked.
"Let us see," Starfire asked, flying to one side while Robot Man and Cyborg cracked their knuckles, grabbing the other ends.
"On 3! 1! 2! 3! LIFT!" Robot Man counted down and with a big grunt, the three started slowly lifting the boulder off the ground. As the rock rose higher up, the bystanders ducked down to see how high up it needed to be, only for their eyes to widen at who was crushed under the boulder.
"Elasti-Girl?!" Everyone shouted. The second-in-command of the Doom Patrol was lying in the shadow of the boulder, unconscious.
"Rita's down there?! Get her out quick!" Robot Man yelled, struggling with the boulder. Raven used her powers to pull Elasti-Gil clear of the boulder, allowing Cyborg, Robot Man, and Starfire to drop it, making the ground shake beneath them. The group crowded around her to see that she had some cuts and bruises and wasn't breathing.
"We need to do something. Quick!" Robot Man yelled, kneeling down to her. Sora summoned his keyblade in a flash of light and raised it in the air.
"Heal!" Sora shouted, as a green flower appeared in the air and bathed Elasti-Girl in energy. The cuts were healed but she still didn't wake up.
"Why isn't she waking up?!" Negative Man asked.
"Her heart needs a restart," Cyborg said, gathering electricity into his hands. He kneeled next to her and placed his hands on her chest. "Clear!" He yelled, sending a jolt through her body. Taking a breath, he rubbed his hands again and sent another jolt, only to get nothing again. "C'mon, Elasti-Girl!" He pleaded, increasing the voltage and sending another jolt. Everyone waited for a few seconds for any response when suddenly, the second-in-command let out a breath and opened her eyes, making everyone smile.
"Rita! You're okay!" Robot Man said, slowly helping her up.
"Cliff? Larry?" She asked, happy to see her two teammates.
"Don't go scaring us like that again," Negative Man said, making her smile.
"Only if you guys promise to do the same. Thanks for saving me," Rita said.
"Don't look at us," Negative Man said. Elasti-Girl looked towards the Titans at the response. She smiled and walked towards them.
"Thank you…Titans. I apologize for Mento's…for our thoughts of you. We should've known we were way over our heads on this," Elasti-Girl said.
"Your apology is graciously accepted," Starfire said.
"We should probably get moving if we want to catch up to Beast Boy and Mento," Raven said.
"But we still have to get past that boulder," Ravager said.
"No problem," Elasti-Girl replied, suddenly growing into her giant size and easily smashed through it with her foot. She started stomping through the canyon with her teammates and Titans following behind her at a safe distance.
"Glad to have her back," Negative Man replied.
(Later, at a large Tower in the mountains)
It was nighttime now as the Titans, Elasti-Girl, Negative Man, and Robot Man stood outside of a massive tower-like structure in the middle of the mountains. Ravager and Cyborg had on binoculars to get a closer look at the entrance.
"Looks like Mento and BB already took out the security. We should be able to follow in after them," Cyborg said. They were about to go in when they heard blaster fire and explosions occurring inside.
"Sounds like trouble," Sora said.
"How about we make a grand entrance, y'all?" Cyborg said, readying his keyblade. The Titans nodded and ran towards the wall while the Doom Patrol members watched from the side.
"They're good kids huh?" Elasti-Girl said, making Robot Man nod in agreement.
"Mento definitely owes them an apology after this," Negative Man said, running after the teens with his teammates. Robin throws some explosive discs and Cyborg fires his sonic cannon at the wall, causing it to explode. They emerge through the smoke to see Mento and Beast Boy surrounded by Immortus's robot army in a large circular room where the quantum generator sat in the middle at the ready to use. Everyone had their eyes on the newcomers as the Titans and the three recovered Doom Patrol members readied themselves.
"I should've warned you, we're not so great at doing what we're told," Robin told Mento, who was hidden behind a cover made of floor tiles.
"I'll let it slide. Let's do this!" Mento yelled, with a smile on his face. Sora and Raven glide in the air and fire powerful spells at the robots, destroying many of them. They go back-to-back and fire beams of magic in a slow circular motion while the rest of the Titans and Doom Patrol engage Immortus and his army. As the two teams held off the Brotherhood, Beast Boy, as a pigeon, flew towards the elevated control panel to the generator and started typing away. The teams below continued to destroy all of Immortus's infantry until there were nothing but piles of metal.
"Did we win?" Negative Man asked while his soul returned to his body.
"On the contrary, Negative Man," The Brain's voice echoed across the room as everyone looked up at the platform. Their eyes widened as they see The Brain, Madame Rouge and Monsieur Mallah standing at the panel, the gorilla dangling Beast Boy over the railing. "But I would like to congratulate you all. Reaching this stronghold is no small feat," the mastermind commented.
"Let him go, Mallah!" Sora yelled.
"As you wish," Mallah said, tossing the Titan over the edge with not a care in the world. Elasti-Girl quickly grows large and catches him in her palms.
"And now that you are here, I believe a demonstration is in order," The Brain said as its fluids boiled green and its eye's glowed red. Suddenly, a monitor rose behind them as it turned on, showing an image of Earth. "Any place I choose is mine to destroy," It continued as the monitor zoomed in closer to a Pacific U.S. coastline. "Perhaps…this one," The Brain finished as the monitor finally zoomed in on the chosen target: Titans Tower.
"He's targeting the Tower!" Cyborg exclaimed.
"No, not just the Tower! He's targeting the whole city!" Raven said.
"Now you see why I have such a problem with this guy," Mento said.
"Yeah, we're starting to understand," Ravager said.
"Let's stop these guys!" Sora answered, getting into his battle stance.
"Titans!" Robin yelled.
"Doom Patrol!" Mento yelled as well.
"Go/Attack!" They both screamed as each member charged and attacked with weapons and powers at the ready.
"Immortus, restrain them," The Brain ordered. The General stood on the ground and raised his hand as more robots emerged from the walls. Mallah and Rouge leaped over the railings to join in the fray but found themselves occupied by the Doom Patrol while the Teen Titans dealt with the robots. Sora sliced a few more robots and cast a thunder spell over another group that were marching towards Ravager until he suddenly saw the flash of a blade coming towards him. He quickly blocked it with his keyblade and jumped away to see General Immortus standing there.
"In all my many years, I have never seen a weapon such as yours. But you're still just a boy. This will be very interesting," Immortus answered, pointing his sword at Sora.
"I wouldn't underestimate me, General," Sora said, replied, entering his battle stance. The boy charges and strikes at the General, who expertly blocks the attack and counters with his own strikes, quickly putting Sora on the defensive. The keyblade wielder backed away and fired a blizzard spell but Immortus dodged out of the way and kicked Sora's feet out from under him, bringing him to the floor. He looked up to see Immortus standing over him with cutlass at the ready until he was blasted away by Raven, who landed next to Sora.
"You alright?" She asked, helping him up.
"Yeah, he's really good," Sora said. Immortus smiled as more robots appeared behind him and started marching towards them. The two Titans smile to each other and gather their energy to fire two powerful beams of light and dark, destroying the robots and making Immortus fall back. As the two teams fought the Brotherhood, Beast Boy flew back up to the upper floor of the generator as a pigeon where The Brain remained and turned back into a human at the panel as the ring began to sparkle and crack with electric energy.
"I have an idea," Beast Boy said with a smirk. He began typing away at the keyboard of the panel as the monitor showed, "New Coordinates". Soon the monitor no longer showed Jump City as the target but the generator base they were currently in while an alarm blared off.
"You fool! What have you done?" The Brain asked.
"You're not the only one with a brain!" Beast Boy said, smacking the back of The Brain's pedestal and knocking it over. Its jar falls loose from the railing, but Madame Rouge extends herself to catch it and escaping the premises. Monsieur Mallah is the last one standing but he's quickly driven back by Cyborg's sonic cannon and projectiles and the sound of the alarm. The rest of the Brotherhood begins to retreat, recognizing their defeat as Beast Boy rejoin the teams. Mento looks towards him until he notices the generator activating.
"Beast Boy, you reset the coordinates to this location!" Mento said.
"Well, yeah. And unless you want to see the inside of a blackhole, we better get outta here," Beast Boy said.
"Kid's got a point," Robot Man said, destroying one more robot while he had the chance. Soon, the whole base started shaking from the force of the newly created black hole as both sides started running. Beast Boy smirks at the victory before turning into a pigeon and flying out of the room with both of his teams. The black hole continues to grow in size until the emitters for the generator overload while the vortex consumes the entire base. The Teen Titans and Doom Patrol watch from a safe distance as the black hole disappears in a great big flash, leaving nothing behind.
"Let's see them rebuild that," Beast Boy commented.
"Great idea, Beast Boy," Sora said while the rest of the teams congratulated him.
"Good job, Kid," Robot Man replied. Beast Boy smiled at the recognition until his gaze turned toward his former leader, who smiled and nodded.
(Next Day, Morning)
The sun shone around the two teams as they stood next to the now repaired Doom Patrol's ship, with the T-Ship not too far away. They spent most of the night rebuilding it back to its former glory and now there wasn't even a scratch or dent to speak of.
"You kids…you Titans…did okay," Mento said.
"Is that a thank you I'm hearing?" Ravager asked.
"Don't get use to it…but yes," Mento replied.
"You're welcome," Raven said, though a little uncertain as she held Sora's hand.
"So, what's next? The Brotherhood of Evil got away," Robin asked.
"They'll crawl back to their hole like they always do. I'm sure the Brain's already working on a new plan," Negative Man answered.
"And we'll be waiting but next time we won't be alone," Mento continued.
"Count on it," Cyborg replied.
"Just don't wait to get caught to call," Sora said.
"Noted, kid," Robot Man answered. Elasti-Girl walked up to Beast Boy and embraced him in a hug.
"We're all very proud of you, Garfield. Take care," Elasti-Girl said, surprising the Titans with his real name. Rita broke the hug as her and the Patrol boarded their ship and take off into the sky, leaving the Titans there.
"Garfield?" Starfire asked, making Beast Boy look at them with a nervous laugh. Raven and Ravager smiled wickedly at all the jokes coming to mind.
"Oh, I'm gonna get a lot of mileage out of this one," Raven said.
"Lay off him Rae, besides he did just save the day," Sora said, kissing her on the cheek.
"Thanks Sora," Beast Boy replied.
"Well, I don't know about y'all but I'm feeling a nap coming on," Cyborg said.
"Agreed, I am missing the home and sweet Silkie," Starfire replied.
"Alright. Let's go home," Robin said, walking to the T-Ship with his friends behind him.
(Meanwhile, in an undisclosed location)
In a darkened room, The Brotherhood of Evil stood in front of several monitors showing all the heroes they encountered or have info on: The Doom Patrol, The Teen Titans, Titans East; Hot Spot, Wildebeest, Tramm, Thunder, Lightning, Kid Devil, FireStorm and several other young heroes. The Brain sat safely in his pedestal as it observed the monitors.
"The face of our enemy has changed. No longer is the Doom Patrol our only threat. Now a new generation stands in our way. And those who rule the young will control the future," The Brain said, as it and its allies turned around to see a huge, wall-to-wall world map and a large crowd of villains awaiting their commands. All the villains that the Titans have fought in their adventures: Doctor Light, Gizmo, Jinx, Mammoth, Cinderblock, Red X, Adonis, Trident, the Puppet King, Johnny Rancid, the Amazing Mumbo, Professor Chang, Plasmus, Warp, Killer Moth, Kardiak, Katarou, Atlas, Control Freak, Kitten and Fang, a young Mad Mod, Steamroller, Overload, Billy Numerous, See-More and several new faces.
"We have a common enemy. The Teen Titans and their friends will fall. Working together…we will destroy them…one by one," The Brain said.
"And with our help…," a new voice said as two figures joined at the Brain's side, one dressed in a long black dress and a long staff in hand and the other a large cat in a jumpsuit. "You will surely succeed," Maleficent continued with a smirk.
"Yeah, that little key brat and his friends won't stand a chance! Hehahahaha!' Pete laughed, along with the other villains, the noise echoing across the entire room.
And that is the end! Whoo, I apologize for how long this chapter took to make, I did not intend for it to take forever but anyway, I hope you enjoyed this take on Homecoming Part 2 and the Titans rescuing the Doom Patrol and Maleficent and Pete joining up with the Brotherhood, that's not good news! We'll just have to see what happens next won't we? Now onto the reviews:
NinjaFang1331: Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter. Hopefully you enjoyed this one.
XenoBlaze: Your welcome! And yeah, Beast Boy will get his keyblade at the end. I know it seems like I'm dragging it out, but I think it makes sense for him to gain it when he must take command and rally everyone together. And for what it looks like, you'll have to wait and see.
3bodyjaa: Thanks!
Star of Imagination: Yes it is, the beginning to the end for the Teen Titans show. And no, I'm not planning on including the Justice League since they don't appear in the show. And no, I don't know Code Lyoko but if you think so, I'll have to look into it. Thank you and I will.
Kegeto: Again, if you want to ask, you can always private message me so no one else can see.
Althea Sirius: They sure do don't they? Always ready to sacrifice themselves. Reminds you of a certain someone huh?
Guest1: I'm writing the ones that are essential to the plot of Season 5. I will not be writing "Go!" since that's a prequel episode and "Revved Up" since that is a filler episode.
Khy Dragon: With his friends, anything is possible. And I think Reverse Flash was right to win.
Antex-The Legendary Zoroark: Glad you're enjoying the story so far! Let me know if you have any questions or complaints at all.
I hope you all are staying during these times, I'm not really sure what is going on nowadays to be honest but I don't like it. But I'm not going to get into any of that.
