Two people force another to walk with them. It's a rather dark corridor, and the lights are all dim or not working. The air is heavy, with a musty scent. The walls are dark tiles, with a matching metallic floor underneath.
"What's the deal with this? You told me I was needed for a special occasion. What is this for?" A light flickers as now everything can be seen.
"That's not my problem, man. I'm forced to." Chef Hatchet drags him together with a Background Character. What else now?
Chef Hatchet - SIDE
Chef Hatchet is a cook, co-host, best friend, and sidekick to Chris on Total Drama, being alongside him since the first season. He used to be a hazardous person occasionally, but he has softened up since the Total Drama Reboot and now acts as Chris's voice of reason.
A double door slams open as the person is thrown into a chair.
"Chris Mclean."
"It was obvious it was you."
"Me, the Chrismeister!"
"Yup, all me. Sorry to bring you here so violently, but you would instantly deny if I told you what was all this about. And we can't have that." Chris flips a stack of papers like they were playing cards.
"You still are the best option for what I need."
Chris McLean - SIDE
Chris McLean is the host of Total Drama. He was arrested at the end of the fourth season for turning the island into a highly contaminated toxic waste dump. However, he was paroled from prison and returned to host the following seasons. He always loves taking care of his looks and torturing his contestants. Some say he's got mentally worse and worse as Total Drama continued.
"McLean, For what reason am I needed? The best option of what?" The man showed himself as the light in the room flickered.
"And why exactly have you thrown me into this set? I get the theme, but I hate to see a lack of contrast. Ugh."
"You are Hector Orjonikidze. That's why." Chris with his usual smirk drops his legs on the desk.
"That's not a reason. You know why." Hector looks at Chris with a cold gaze. His brown hair is swept back, contrasting with his blue, icy eyes, and in his left eye, there's a scar. He wears a handmade suit, mostly a palette gray, but interesting patterns can be seen closely. His shoes are of the darkest black.
"What, you want me to host the show for you? That's a no, thanks I'll leave, buh-bye. But if you have a good reason…"
Hector Orjonikidze – ?
A teen who just entered his young adult life. A contestant in a reality show, "?". In particular, he's the winner of Season 18 and then features in Season 20 as an all-star. He was, until the incident that stopped and canceled the show for good, although it was not his fault. In his run, he was a guy known for his agility and cunning, he could strike precise strikes, although he's not a heavy hitter.
He's known all for his strong fashion sense. Everything has to look and feel good, and no detail escapes him. He's not induced just by clean and elegant clothes. Although it doesn't look like it, he sews any style. He could make any rag look perfect, even.
He makes some quips sparingly, but his rather cold personality makes him extremely suspicious, as he's not the guy to show good warmth. When he shows real gratitude his expression is still jarring.
"I simply cannot host the next show. Producers won't let me, because somehow I wasted too much budget on hair and face. And they won't do one or the other. Next season." Chris growls at the disappointment against them.
"And what's in for me if I get the role? I'm not exactly in a situation where I'm not busy if I must remind you." Hector's look is wary, but he gets his card in play for anything curious.
"You get the role of host and can contact the producers on how to deal with-" Chris shoves a stack of paper and a pen in front of Hector.
"Let me read this first." With a quick hand, Hector snatches the papers and reads them closely. Chris's expression dropped, but he forgot he had to expect this to happen. It takes a while to read everything.
"Do you realize that you're dropping all the right to host the show by this? And I get every creative decision too. It's written in character size 6 in a very light gray. I'll accept." He then starts to sign every single line needed.
"Huh? WHAT?" Chris stands up incredulously.
"Chef!? You told me that you read every single line forty times with a magnifying glass!"
"Uhm…" Chef embarrassedly scratches his neck.
"Sigh. I guess you want us to be over." Chris grouches with his arms crossed.
"What? No, no, no! It was extremely faint, why would I see that?" The chef goes in closer to him as he holds on closer to him. They start arguing. Quite painfully.
"I shall call the producers. Not that I must remind you, you're assigning the host role to a teenager." Hector rolls the number on his phone.
"Hello. Yes, they chose me. I'm willing to get involved in another reality show again. Yes, I know the risks. Yes, I know that I'm a little too young to host, but that's what Chris chose, I read every paragraph, and well, he isn't happy."
Producer chat ensues.
"Yeah, but I'll think I'll change location. Not- What the, no, no. Why would I do that to myself? I'm not using the past casts for sure if I must mind you. Good, good, everything can be out in the system. Budgeting? It won't be an issue, however, I'll keep Chris and Chef around."
"What?" Chris and Chef turn around as he says that and gaps.
"Chris's budget will be cut to a tenth, of course. But I can assure you a budget increase if I can insert my sponsor around somewhere. Yeah, yeah, It will be substantial." Hector smirks as Chris groans.
"See you at the offices, I will be over there when I get out of the set Chris made." And he closes the call.
"And see you in production, fun couple."
Chef sighs as the two see Hector get farther and farther.
"Are you sure the show is in the right hands?"
"I have watched his show… Will he be in the right mind to be able to host it?" Chris looks at the paper Hector had to leave by him.
Many months later…
"Nana Nananana Nanananananana, Nana Nana Na Na!"
"Nana Nananana Nanananananana, Nana Nana Na Na!"
"A new Total Drama Season is incoming!" Hector walks forward out of a cave. The screen zooms further and further to show very hilly lands near a sandy beach.
"New challenges will be seen in this good bay! Where is it?"
"You'll find out when the show is open!"
"But it will be open for you of my age."
"I'm Hector Orjonikidze, winner and contestant of-"
TV STATIC.
"And I'll be gladly your host for your show. Alongside your favorite faces!" Chris and Chef are seen awkwardly waving at the camera.
"Email [Email Name] to try to audition for the show! And show us your best features through a clip. 18 contestants will be featured this season."
"Total Drama!" The usual logo appears on the screen.
"Only age 16 to 18 can apply. Restriction to only 1 audition is applied. If accepted you must accept a contract that states that the show won't be liable for any pain caused, mental or physical, to the show."
