Annie ran through the countryside outside of Wall Rose. Eren was surprised, they've been going for miles, and they haven't encountered a single titan. "Most of them probably came into Trost when the Collosal kicked the gate in." Armin said, almost like he read his mind. "I just don't understand why they were all so close to begin with, it always bothered me how fast they came to the gate, samething when Wall Maria fell."

It must have something to do with the Colossal.

"So, how'd you guys come up with this plan?" Eren asked, "You guys didn't know Annie was a titan before, right?"

"Well, she actually overheard us coming up with a plan to rescue you." Armin said. "After that she convinced us she was a titan also, and that using her power was the best way to rescue you."

"We could've done it without her." Mikasa said under her breath

"That's surprising." Eren said. All throughout training Annie only looked out for herself. The only exception he could think of was when she helped him learn her hand to hand combat style, and even then he was pretty sure it was because she liked throwing him to the ground. Not to mention she completely threw away her dream of going to the Military Police by doing this.

By midday they reached a small abandoned village, miles from Wall Rose. Annie lowered them all off her back.

Steam erupted from the nape of her neck as Annie exited her titan.

Eren watched her as she dropped down. The steam of the titan caused her hair to come loose. Eren couldn't help but realize how cute it looked like that. Eren shook his head. He didn't have time to think like that, he had to get answers.

"Annie." Eren called. "Hold on, I have to talk to you."

Annie turned around. She looked annoyed. "Whatever it is, it can wait till tomorrow, I'm tired."

"It can't wait!" Eren said impatiently. It came off far more whiny than intended. "I have so many questions, like how are you a Titan?"

Annie gave him a death stare not a few moments before answering. "I just ran for miles upon miles to save you from getting executed." She said. "I'm exhausted, so I'm going to sleep. Whatever stupid questions you have will have to wait." She turned to go into the abandoned house. "You're welcome by the way." She said before slamming the door behind her.

"Then she slammed the door behind her!" Eren explained to Mikasa and Armin. "I get she's anti social but that was just rude."

They had found a nice abandoned house in the village and were claiming their spots to sleep. Eren brought down the mattress from the bedroom for Mikasa to sleep on as he and Armin laid on the floor.

"She's always been rude." Mikasa said.

"She's just tired Eren." Armin said. "Being it seems like being in titan form takes a lot out of you. You should have seen the way you looked when Mikasa pulled you out of your Titan. You weren't even conscious."

"That's no excuse to be rude." Mikasa snapped. "Eren hasn't had real rest since Trost, but you don't see him acting like a jerk." Eren looked up at her. He got a better view of the scar she received because of him during the battle. Her once perfect face now had a deep red line running across her cheek. A deep sorrow went through him knowing he hurt one of his closest friends.
