Blast From The Past: Shoot Like A Bullet!

-

"I dunno Crow...are you sure this will work?"
"Of course it will! This plan is golden!," He stated with a thumbs up and a grin, "Now listen up...I'm gonna go over it one more time!" He pointed to the blue print map of the Security Impound Center.
Stolen no doubt.

But none the less, Akarii listened attentively-

"In disguise of course, you'll be able to enter right through the main door..." he said as he traced his finger over the path in the blue prints she needed to follow," Our cards will be kept in holding here, with this forged card key, you should be able to get it, grab our decks and get out, hopefully and preferably-unnoticed..."
"Right and...remind me again why I have to be the one to do this?" she gave him a look with a raised brow.
"You're smaller and more limber than I am- so you should be able to move faster if you get caught." he grinned, "Not that it's gonna be that easy- I got your back you know that." he chuckled, "I'll cause a distraction for the guards outside so that you will be able to slip in...and I'll be waitin' for ya at the randevouz point...just make sure to grab my cards too, ya got it?"
"Yeah, yeah." she huffed, "Sheesh with such little trust I should just leave your cards there~"
"You better not!"
This bickering of theirs...it's playful.
Akarii cherished these moments between them.
They have done this type of thing many times before... earning the tag team name The Bullets
Crow 'The Bullet' Hogan- limber and quick.
And then there was Akarii...The Rose Bullet.
A reckless red blur of a dare devil anyone would think twice before facing-
She was unpredictable...chase at your own risk!
They were a dream team on infiltration and the chasing game of 'cat and mouse'...Thrill seekers.

"You know...this outfit is really unflattering..." she pouted as she posed awkwardly in a dirty mirror, dressed in a stolen uniform from Sector Security.
"Well sorry but you're not there to be a super model ya know." he huffed, "The key here is to not draw attention..."
"I got it already..." Akarii grumped, "Let's just get this over with so I can get back in my normal clothes."
"Girls...never satisfied." He joked as he finished gathering all that they needed for this mission, "All right then...let's go get our cards back~"

They hid in the shadows just before the Impound Center.
Communicating with each other through their eyes and practiced hand signals.
"All right I'm going in." he signed, to which Akarii responded with a nod and hid herself deeper in the shadows while he ran out, waiting for the signal to make her move.

"Hey there buddy~ how's it hangin'!?" Crow leapt out calling attention to himself to draw away the guard that stood outside.
"Wha-it's you!"
Clearly another one of the many victims of Crow 'The Bullet' Hogan.

They don't tend to forget him once they encounter him.

"You're the punk from yesterday!"
"Huh?" he blinked a few times studying the guard before him as though trying to recall where he saw him before," Oh hey! it's you! HaHa, How you been? Did your bruises heal up yet!?" he ginned, which only seemed to piss off the guard more.
"You punk!" he huffed and began chase Crow turning and darting ahead.
Excellent.
Everything was going just as Crow had planned.

When he passed by Akarii's hiding spot, a wave of his hand signaled her to take the next step and move out.
Once they were a good enough distance to where she wouldn't be noticed, she lowered the visor of her Security helmet and slipped inside.

"I'm in." she said directly into the built in mic, a direct connection to Crow's ear piece.
"Great! You remember the plan right? Know where to go?"
"Yeah I got it." she said back, "They're in holding right? Card storage..."
"That's right, there might be a bit more security since the last time we broke in-so be careful."
"I'm on it."

Akarii slipped into the shadows and carefully studied her surroundings.
As Crow predicted, there was more security inside.
It was clear that top side felt bitter since the last time they out-witted them...
It was damn near laughable.
Timing her motions, Akarii slipped between the windows and managed to make it fine on the inside.

"I'm in."
"Great, don't leave until you have our cards, but as always be careful not to trigger any alarms!"
"Roger."

The storage room was full of countless cards...

Many decks confiscated by the man.
Such a shame to leave them in a place like this...but if the bait is obvious?

Best not to take it.

Akarii searched carefully... solely focused on their own.

"Got our decks!" Akarii beamed in satisfaction.
"That's great to hear~"she could hear Crow beaming on the other end of the radio,"Now get the deck out of there!"
"Got it." she said, "Over and out."

Though as soon as Akarii exited the card storage vault...trouble began.

"Hey you! What are you doing!? Stop right there!"

"Uh-Oh...Busted!" she grinned
"Dammit Akarii so much for not drawing attention to yourself..."Crow laughed,"Well Don't just stand around lookin' pretty you red-headed dumb ass! Run!"

The alarm blared all around her, and the flashing lights began-
She had no other choice now but to make a run for it.

"Who are you!? Don't let'em escape!"

Akarii had about ten chasers in pursuit and she couldn't maintain her smile.
This familiar rush of cat and mouse filled her with a thrill she couldn't dare to let go of-
"We're gaining on'em, don't let'em get away!"
"Ha, is that what you think!?" she grinned and began a weaving pattern gaining momentum.
"What is this punk doing!? Are they drunk?"
"Probably...what more can you expect from Satelite trash!?"
"Oh, I'll show you trash!" she mumbled as she looked ahead, quickly approaching a dead end.
No way out...except for a single window on the wall ahead.
"We got em now! There's no where to run, so just give up."
"Sorry..." Akarii snickered, "But giving up isn't a term I'm familiar with~" she kicked off of the ground, leaping toward the wall, with both feet against it, she bounced off of it, giving her perfect trejectory toward the window.
"What is this punk doing!?"
"This guy is some kind of Ninja!"
As she took flight, Akarii removed the helm and held it in front of her, to work as a block between herself and the incoming glass-
Her fiery red hair flew from behind her and put everyone below into shock and awe.

"Wait a minute...she's a girl? Is she heading toward the window? She's crazy!"
Akarii glanced back with a grin, her amber eyes flashing eagerly.
"Not crazy..." she said to them, bracing herself for impact, "Juuuuuust~ a little bitReckless!"

With the sound of the shattering glass of the window she pushed through, Akarii was gone-
A Red Rose Bullet...shot into the wind of freedom.
