Few Weeks Later...
Gohan was meditating near a waterfall, his eyes closed, and his breath steady. His mind was as still as the surface of the water before it plunged over the rocks. His clothes were damp from the mist, clinging to his body like a second skin. He had been at it for hours, his thoughts drifting through the fabric of the universe. It was a quiet, solitary practice that he had picked up from his father, a way to find peace amidst the chaos of the world.
It's been a few weeks since defeating Turles and destroying the Tree of Might, and the Z-Warriors had decided to take a well-deserved break. Gohan was enjoying the tranquility of the forest, away from the constant danger that seemed to plague their lives. He was determined to become stronger, to ensure that no one else would have to face the horrors he had seen.
Even though his father Goku and the rest of the Z-Warriors were gone due to Goku dying by the heart virus and the others being killed by the androids, Gohan knew that he, Trunks and Chesami will carry on their legacy and become stronger.
He then starts wondering about his and Bulma's son, Bulhan, who was born after the android crisis. He was a little over a year old, and Gohan was always there for him. Even he has his university teaching studies or training, he always made time for his son. The thought of Bulhan's innocent face brought a smile to his lips, a gentle breeze whispering through the trees as if sharing in his happiness.
He then thinks about what he and Bulma did a few weeks ago at night after defeating Turles…
Flashback
Gohan and Bulma's love-making was a tumultuous storm, their bodies moving in a passionate rhythm that matched the intensity of their battle. Their moans filled the room, a symphony of pleasure that drowned out the worries of the world outside.
"You like that?! You like how my big, juicy ass feels on your cock?!" Bulma moaned out, her voice filled with pleasure as she rode Gohan like a wild stallion.
Gohan's eyes rolled back into his head, "Yeah, baby... I love it," he groaned, his hands digging into her hips as he thrust upwards to meet her every downward motion.
Bulma leaned forward, her breasts bouncing in his face as she whispered sweet nothings into his ear, her breath hot and erratic. "You're so much stronger than your father and Vegeta ever were," she praised, her voice dripping with lust, "You're the best lover I've ever had."
Gohan felt his heart swell with pride at her words, and he thrust harder into her, their bodies becoming one as they reached the peak of their passion. Bulma's nails dug into his back, leaving red trails of desire as she screamed out his name, her orgasm washing over her like a tidal wave. He followed soon after, his body tensing as he filled her with his warmth.
After shooting his load straight into her ass, Gohan collapsed onto the bed, panting heavily, his body slick with sweat. Bulma rolled over, her legs shaking from the intensity of her climax, and curled up against him, her head on his chest. They lay there for a moment, basking in the afterglow of their love, listening to the steady beat of each other's hearts.
"Wow... T-That was just as intense as the first time," Gohan spoke, remembering how he and Bulma confessed their feelings towards each other during the android crisis.
Bulma giggled, stroking his chest with her fingers, "It's always intense with you, Gohan," she said, her voice still breathless from their passionate encounter. They lay there, wrapped in each other's arms, the gentle glow of the moonlight spilling into the room, painting them in a soft, silver light.
Gohan held her close, feeling the warmth of her body against his, the sweat of their battle and their love mingling on their skin. "I never thought I'd find someone like you," he whispered, kissing the top of her head.
Bulma looked up at him with a soft smile, her eyes gleaming with affection, "Awww~ You say the sweetest things," she teased, nuzzling closer to him, "And I'm glad that I have someone like you~"
"Thanks, Bulma" Gohan whispered, feeling a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that together, they could face whatever the future threw at them. But for now, he was content to hold her in his arms and cherish the present.
The two lovebirds then closed their eyes, basking in the warmth of their victory and their love for each other. Sleep took them over, their breaths syncing up as the night went on.
End of Flashback
Back in the present, Gohan had a big blush on his face as he came out of his trance, his thoughts on the steamy night with Bulma. He felt a sudden urge to get back to her, to feel her embrace once more. The memories of their love-making filled him with warmth, a stark contrast to the chilly mountain air.
His thoughts then drifted back to his son, Bulhan, and his student/step-son and Bulma's first son, Trunks. He was really happy that the seventeen-year-old grew to care and love his half baby brother, even though they had a rough start due to him and Bulma hiding their relationship. They had told him everything after the birth and Trunks had accepted it surprisingly well... After his talk with Gohan's mother, Chi-Chi when he needed to blow off some steam.
Anyways, Gohan continues with his meditation when Trunks interrupts him.
"H-Hey, um... S-Step D-Dad?" Trunks' voice was tentative, interrupting the serene silence of the forest. Gohan's eyes snapped open, and he took a deep breath to calm his racing heart. The memories of the night with Bulma were still fresh in his mind, and he couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed.
"O-Oh! H-Hey, T-Trunks!" Gohan stutters, trying to compose himself as he wipes the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand. "What's up?"
"S-Sorry for interrupting, but um... mind if I join?" Trunks asked, his cheeks a shade of pink as he looked down at his own sweaty hands. Gohan's eyes softened, understanding the young man's need for guidance.
"Of course" The metal-armed lone warrior smiled while blushing, pointing at the other spot next to him for Trunks to sit. "We can meditate together."
Trunks joins Gohan, and after a while, he opens one of his eyes and asks "Why are we doing this?"
"These were one of the teachings my father and Mr. Piccolo taught me," Gohan began, his voice steady despite his earlier embarrassment. "Meditation helps us to focus, to find our inner strength, and to connect with the energy of the world around us."
Trunks nodded, his curiosity piqued. He had seen Gohan meditate before, but he had never tried it himself. He took a deep breath, mimicking Gohan's posture as best as he could. The coolness of the earth seeped into his skin, grounding him as he closed his eyes.
For a moment, there was only the sound of the waterfall and the rustling of leaves. Then, gradually, Trunks felt something stir within him. It was like a gentle hum that grew louder with every breath he took. He didn't understand it, but he didn't fight it either.
"Concentrate on your breathing," Gohan instructed, his voice a soothing rumble. "Inhale the energy of the universe, and exhale your doubt and fear."
Trunks took a deep breath, filling his lungs with the crisp mountain air. He could feel his heart rate slowing down, his mind clearing off the clutter that usually plagued him. The quiet whisper of the forest grew louder, the waterfall's roar becoming a gentle lullaby that calmed his soul. He had never felt so relaxed, so... alive.
As they sat side by side, Gohan could sense the change in Trunks. His aura grew stronger, his spirit more focused. It was a sign that the young man was discovering his true potential. Gohan was proud of him, proud of the growth he had shown in the time they had been training together.
That was when the seventeen-year-old half saiyan remembered something, "Oh, um, Gohan! I forgot to tell ya! Um, My mom asked me to get you back in the house, lunch is probably ready"
"Lunch?" Gohan's stomach growled, reminding him of the time that had passed since his morning training. He had been so lost in thought and the quiet power of meditation that he had forgotten all about it. "Thank you, Trunks. Let's go," he said, standing up and stretching out his limbs.
They made their way back to the house, the path familiar under their feet. The smell of something delicious wafted through the air, making Gohan's stomach rumble even louder. As they approached, they could hear the sound of Bulma's laughter mixed with the clatter of pans and dishes.
When they entered the house, Bulma looked up from the stove, her face flushed from the heat. She wore a simple apron over her usual tight-fitting clothing, and her hair was pulled back into a high ponytail. The sight of her brought a warm smile to Gohan's face.
...
A few minutes later, Gohan (while feeding Bulhan), Trunks and Bulma sat around the wooden table, digging into a feast of steaming rice, grilled vegetables, and tender strips of meat. Bulma had outdone herself, as usual, filling the house with the mouthwatering aroma of a home-cooked meal. The three of them talked and laughed, sharing stories of their days. Bulhan sat in his high chair, babbling happily as he tried to grab at the food on Gohan's plate.
As they ate, Gohan couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. His father, Goku, was not there to enjoy the simple pleasure of a family meal. The heart virus had taken him too soon, leaving a void that no one could fill. But looking at Bulhan, with his mother's eyes and his father's mischievous smile, Gohan knew that he had to carry on Goku's legacy. He had to protect this world, not just for Bulma and Trunks, but for his son too.
"So, boys, what are you guys going to do after lunch?" Bulma asked, her voice filled with cheerfulness that didn't quite reach her eyes. Gohan knew she missed Goku as much as he did, especially when it came to family moments like these.
"Bulhan and I are going to my mother's house. I promised Chi-Chi and her dad, the Ox-King, that they get to see their grandson again," Gohan replied, his eyes sparkling with love as he looked at Bulhan.
Yep, during the android crisis, Trunks tells Gohan that he should visit his mother every once in a while... However, Gohan couldn't keep that promise... Not yet... Not while the androids were still around. Luckily, Gohan ended the androids thanks to the deceased spirits of Goku and Piccolo, and now, it was time to pay a visit to Chi-Chi once more.
After the meal, Gohan gently took Bulhan into his arms and gave him a kiss on the forehead. The baby cooed and grabbed at his dad's hair, bringing a warm smile to Gohan's face. "Let's go see Grandma, okay?" he whispered, and Bulhan babbled happily in response.
Trunks watched the interaction with a hint of sadness. He missed his own father, Vegeta, who had sacrificed himself during the fight against the androids. But he knew that he had found a new family in Gohan and Bulma, and he was grateful for their love and support.
"So, Trunks, what are you going to do for the rest of the day? Besides doing your school studies first, of course?", Bulma teased, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she knew how much Trunks hated schoolwork.
"W-Well, Mom... Besides doing my schoolwork first, I-I'm going to visit my girlfriend and her mother's mansion an-" Trunks began to say before Bulma interrupted with a shocked look on her face.
"Wait, Chesami and Maron live in a mansion now?!" Bulma's eyes widened in surprise, setting down her chopsticks with a clatter. "How did that happen?"
"Well, from what Chesami told me while I was going to her house a few weeks ago, her mother Maron used most of Yamcha's baseball money to buy this big mansion," Trunks said with a smirk, remembering the luxurious place he had visited. "It's pretty amazing, actually. They have a pool, a personal gym, and even a theater room!"
Even though she herself is rich, Bulma couldn't help but feel a bit of jealousy of how her deceased ex-boyfriend's fortune had been used. She took a deep breath and composed herself, "Oh, I see. Well, that's good for them, I guess."
Trunks nodded, "Yeah, it's pretty cool. Chesami said I could stay over if I wanted to study there," he said with a hopeful look.
Bulma raised an eyebrow, "Oh, really? That's... nice of her," she said, trying to hide the concern in her voice. She knew how much Trunks had been through with his father's death and the burden of being the only surviving member of this timeline. She wanted him to be happy, but she also knew that sometimes, too much change could be overwhelming.
"Well, I better get going, then," Trunks said, pushing his chair back and standing up. "I don't want to keep Chesami waiting." He gave his mother a quick peck on the cheek and Gohan a nod before heading to his room to grab his bag.
Gohan watched him go, a hint of concern in his eyes. He knew that Trunks was still dealing with the loss of Vegeta, and he didn't want the young man to replace his father's love with material things. But he also knew that Trunks was a smart and capable young man, and that he would find his way.
"Don't worry, Bulma," Gohan said, placing a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Trunks will be okay. He's strong, just like his father."
"I know... Also, don't remind me of that jerk... Ugh... I mean, Vegeta," Bulma said, trying to keep her voice light despite the bitterness that still lingered from their past. She had come to accept Vegeta's sacrifice, but that didn't mean she had to like it.
Gohan chuckled, understanding Bulma's mixed feelings about the Saiyan Prince. "Well, he did save the world a few times," he said, "And I'm sure he'd be proud of Trunks."
"True... but he didn't have to be a jerk to me and Trunks when he was just a baby... He didn't even want to be with his family for goodness sake!", Bulma said with a sigh, looking at Bulhan with a gentle smile, "But I'm happy we have him... and you."
Gohan nodded, feeling a warmth spread through him. "And we have each other," he said, giving Bulma's hand a squeeze. "And we'll always be here for each other, no matter what."
Bulma looked up at him, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "I know," she whispered. "Thank you, Gohan."
The two of them shared a moment of silent understanding before Bulma stood up and started to clear the table. Gohan watched her for a moment, the love he felt for her swelling in his chest. He knew that she was strong, that she could handle whatever came their way, but he also knew that she was hurting. He walked over to her and took the plate from her hand, placing it in the sink.
"Let me do that," he offered, his voice gentle. "You've been working hard enough."
Bulma nodded, her smile grateful as she handed Gohan the plate. He took it and began to clean up the mess they had made during their meal. The kitchen was a testament to their love, filled with the warmth of their laughter and the smell of Bulma's cooking. The dishes clanked against each other as he rinsed them off, the sound echoing through the quiet house.
Bulma was really happy that she had found love with Gohan. She had never felt so secure and loved in her life. After Goku's and Vegeta's deaths, she had felt so lost, but Gohan had been her rock, supporting her through everything. He was a wonderful father to Bulhan and a caring stepfather to Trunks. She knew that the future was uncertain, but with Gohan by her side, she felt like she could face anything.
She was still going to finish the time machine, of course. It's almost complete, but for now... For now, she was going to enjoy the simple things in life. Like watching her baby, Bulhan, grow up and seeing the joy in Trunks' eyes when he talked about his girlfriend. And most importantly, she was going to cherish every moment with Gohan.
Speaking of the metal-armed lone warrior, she saw him finish cleaning the kitchen before getting ready to visit his mother Chi-Chi so she could see her grandson, Bulhan, again. This brought a big smile on her face as she knew how much it meant to Chi-Chi. She knew that she had to keep going, for her family.
"Bulhan and I will be back, Bulma! Don't you worry! And Trunks, take care of yourself, okay?" Gohan called out as he strapped Bulhan into the baby carrier on his back. Bulma nodded, waving them off with a smile that didn't quite reach her eyes. She knew Gohan was trying to keep the mood light, but she couldn't help but feel a twinge of anxiety every time they left the house.
As they stepped outside, the cool mountain air kissed their cheeks, a stark contrast to the warmth of the house. Gohan took a deep breath, the scent of pine and earth filling his lungs. It was moments like these that reminded him of the simple joys in life, moments that seemed so far away when he was in the throes of battle.
They made their way down the mountain path, Gohan's steps sure and steady despite the baby's weight. Bulhan cooed happily, his tiny fists grasping at the air as he looked around with wide, curious eyes. The forest was alive with the sounds of birds and rustling leaves, a symphony that soothed their souls.
The lone warrior then started to fly up to the sky, very gently, so as not to scare Bulhan. Bulhan's eyes widened in wonder as the trees grew smaller below them, his little hand reaching out to touch the clouds. Gohan felt a rush of happiness as he saw the awe in his son's eyes. It was moments like these that made all the hardship worth it.
Gohan and Bulhan journey to visit Chi-Chi, with Gohan reflecting on the tranquility of their life contrasted with their warrior responsibilities. The flight through the sky introduces Bulhan to a new perspective of the world, reinforcing Gohan's commitment to balancing family and duty.
Orange Star City - At the police station
Meanwhile, Videl, intrigued by a mysterious "Great Saiyaman," begins an investigation into recent events that challenge her skepticism and her late father's views on superhuman feats.
Videl is at her office, she can't wrap her head around the fact she saw a man stop a car with a single foot and fly. According to her deceased father, these are all tricks, but Videl thinks there is more to it. She decides to investigate this "Great Saiyaman" or what people called him, "The Green Warrior" and starts by looking into any reports of similar incidents in the area. She finds nothing...
She has a board dedicated to the green warrior's multiple appearances, always saving bystanders and displaying super human strength and abilities. While most of the police, even her, were glad that someone was helping out and all, she can't ignore the nagging feeling that something isn't quite right. There's no pattern to his heroics, no motive, no clear identity. It's like he appears out of nowhere, saves the day, and vanishes without a trace. Not to mention, the vigilante stuff is technically against the law. The only reason that the police didn't arrest this strange hero, besides the hero leaving without a trace, was because of the lack of evidence and the fear of upsetting the public. Not to mention, the hero didn't causes any messes during its heroics, so that's a plus.
Videl was just about to give up when she remembered the fight of the deceased androids 17 and 18. The sheer power that was displayed during that battle was something she had never seen before. And the way Gohan fought... There was something almost supernatural about it. She had to know if there was a connection between the "Great Saiyaman" and the young person she saw fighting those monsters.
Videl becomes increasingly intrigued by the Great Saiyaman's random acts of heroism, noticing the lack of patterns or motives and the elusiveness of the hero's identity. This leads her to recall the battle with Androids 17 and 18, where she witnessed Gohan's extraordinary power. She suspects a link between Gohan and the Green Warrior, prompting her to investigate further and potentially uncover the truth behind the mysterious hero's identity.
After going through some databases and some poor footage of the battle against the androids, she managed to identify Gohan's scar. Her detective work led her to a picture of Gohan, "it's gotta be him" she murmured to herself. Videl felt a mix of excitement and dread. Excitement because she might've just uncovered the identity of the mysterious hero, and dread because she wasn't sure how to confront him.
...
Later On...
Police Officer Videl returns to her house where her girlfriend, Erasa, is waiting for her. Erasa notices the tension in Videl's shoulders and the furrow in her brow, "You okay?"
Videl sighs heavily, "I might have found something on the 'Great Saiyaman'. Some footage from the android fight shows a scar that matches Gohan's."
Erasa's eyes widened, "You think Gohan is the 'Great Saiyaman'?!" She couldn't believe it. Gohan was a kind and gentle person, not the type to hide behind a mask and cape.
"I know it sounds crazy, but the evidence... it's just too much to ignore," Videl said, her voice filled with skepticism. "But if it's true, we need to be careful. If people find out that a superhero is just a regular person, it could cause panic. Plus, we can't have vigilantes running around, even if they do have good intentions."
"Hmmm... Maybe we should visit him, just to be sure," Erasa suggested, a glint of excitement in her eyes. She had always been a fan of the Great Saiyaman, not just for his heroics, but for the person he was.
"Hmmmm... I guess I could visit him... Just to make sure if I'm correct... And what do you mean 'we'?" Videl smirks at Erasa, raising an eyebrow.
"Come on, Videl! I know I have you, but I've always had a crush on the Great Saiyaman!" Erasa teases, her playful tone lightening the mood in the room.
"Hmmmm... I don't know..." Videl pretended to think it over, a smirk playing on her lips. "But if it's for the sake of the law, I guess we could pay him a little visit," she conceded, her eyes sparkling with amusement at Erasa's eagerness.
The blonde-haired girl quickly kisses her girlfriend on the lips, "Thank you, Videl. I'll grab my things, we're going now!" Erasa practically squealed with excitement as she rushed to her room.
Videl couldn't help but chuckle at Erasa's enthusiasm. She knew her girlfriend had a soft spot for heroes, especially the mysterious ones. As Erasa emerged from the room, dressed in comfortable traveling clothes, Videl had already donned her usual combat outfit, ready for anything. They both knew that if Gohan was indeed the Great Saiyaman, then they might need to be prepared for a surprise.
At West City...
The two girls were legally using a helicopter for police business, flying towards Gohan's house. Videl's heart was racing as she thought about the revelation she might bring to light. The chopper's blades sliced through the air, creating a rhythmic thump that mirrored the beating of her heart. She had a feeling this was going to be a game-changer, and she wasn't sure if she was ready for it.
Erasa on the other hand was a mix of excitement and nervousness. This could be the biggest break in her career, but she didn't want to ruin Gohan's secret if he truly was the Great Saiyaman. She knew how much he valued his privacy and his role as a father and teacher.
They finally made it to West City, the urban sprawl starkly contrasting with the serene mountain landscape they had just left. As they approached Gohan's house, Videl felt a peculiar mix of anticipation and apprehension. This was her chance to uncover the truth about the Great Saiyaman, but she didn't want to tarnish the image of the hero that had inspired so many, including herself.
"Just... Just be casual, okay?" Videl whispered to Erasa as they approached Gohan's house. "We don't want to scare him off before we even get a chance to talk."
"Got it," Erasa nodded, trying to keep her excitement in check.
They knocked on the door, and after a moment, it swung open to reveal a sweaty Bulma holding a wrench, a hint of annoyance in her eyes. "What is it?" she snapped, before her expression softened as she recognized Videl. "Oh, hi! What brings you two here?"
"Um, h-hello, Ma'am. I'm Police Officer Videl and this is my... um... colleague, Erasa," Videl stuttered, trying to keep her cool in front of Bulma. "We're here to see Gohan, if he's available?"
"Gohan? Oh, you're talking about my boyfriend/second lover, right?" Bulma said with a roll of her eyes, setting down the wrench. "He's not here. He went to visit his mother, Chi-Chi, with Bulhan."
"(Wait! This old woman is his girlfriend?! AND HE ALREDY HAS A CHILD WITH HER?!)" Erasa thought, trying to keep her jaw from dropping at Bulma's casual revelation. She had always assumed that Gohan was single, but apparently, she had been very wrong.
"(She and Gohan... Together?! And they have a kid together?! But she's so old! Why her of all people...?!)" Videl thought, trying to keep her thoughts hidden. She had never pictured Gohan with Bulma, let alone having a child together. It was a lot to take in, but she had a job to do.
"Oh, um, sorry to bother you, Mrs. Briefs," Videl said, trying to hide her surprise. "We can come back another time."
Bulma wiped her hands on a cloth and gestured for them to come in. "It's no problem. Do you want to wait for him?"
"No, it's fine! We can just visit his mother and see where that goes! You have a great day, Miss Bulma!" Erasa quickly said before grabbing Videl's arm and pulling her back to the helicopter.
The scientist was quite confused by their hasty retreat, but she didn't bother to ask as she returned to her work. The engineered housewife was definitely not the main focus of their visit, and Bulma was quite busy with her own projects. She was almost done with the time machine. Once she's finished, she could send both Gohan and Trunks to the past so they can save Goku from the heart disease that took him away.
Mount Paozu
Meanwhile, the girls were already in the air, heading towards Gohan's mother's house. The chopper ride was tense, filled with the unspoken question of what they would say to Gohan when they saw him. Erasa couldn't help but feel a little betrayed by her crush, while Videl's mind raced with the implications of her discovery.
"I can't believe that this guy would choose an OLD LADY as his girlfriend! She's probably in her late 80s or something! And a kid?! GROSS!" Erasa exclaimed as soon as the helicopter was in the air, her voice a mix of shock and disbelief.
Videl rolled her eyes and looked at her best friend/girlfriend, "Okay, I'm pretty sure that Ms. Bulma is in her 50s... But I do see your point, Erasa. It's just... It's a bit surprising, that's all."
"Surprising? More like weird! What does Gohan see in her?!" Erasa said, her voice filled with bewilderment.
Videl sighed, "I don't know, love. Maybe it's maturity or the fact that she's the mother of his child."
"Look, I know that we never really met him before, besides seeing him as a teacher and all, but still! She's so..." Erasa searched for the right word, "Mature! And he's so young!"
Before Videl could say anything else, she then saw the house at the mountainside, "Look, we're here," she pointed out. The helicopter descended, and the pilot expertly landed it in the clearing next to the house. Videl and Erasa stepped out, the crisp mountain air a stark contrast to the stifling heat of the city.
"Let's get this over with...", Erasa mumbles under her breath as they approach the house, trying to keep her feelings in check.
Videl nodded, her mind racing with what they would say to Gohan. She knew that if they approached him directly, he would probably either deny it or be forced to tell them the truth. They had to be smart about this.
...
Inside of the house, Gohan was cooking something for his mother Chi-Chi while she was playing with her grandson, Bulhan.
"Who's my favorite grandchild?!" Chi-Chi exclaimed as she held Bulhan up in the air, making him giggle uncontrollably. Gohan couldn't help but chuckle at his mother's antics as he finished stirring the pot of stew he was making for lunch.
That was when they heard a knock on the door. Gohan's heart skipped a beat. It was rare for anyone to come to their remote mountain home unannounced, especially with the level of secrecy surrounding their family.
"I got it, Gohan" Chi-Chi said, placing Bulhan down in his playpen and wiping her hands on her apron before heading to the door. She opened it to reveal Videl and Erasa standing outside, the cool breeze playing with their hair.
Videl took a step forward, a forced smile on her face, "Hi Ma'am. I hope we're not interrupting anything important. We're looking for Gohan."
"Why do you two need to talk to my son?" Chi-Chi asked suspiciously, her eyes narrowing as she looked at the two police officers standing before her. She knew that Gohan had been keeping his Saiyan heritage and his Great Saiyaman identity a secret from the world, and she wasn't about to let anyone compromise that.
"We just want to ask him a few questions, that's all. Nothing more" Videl said, trying to keep her voice calm and collected.
"Oh, so you want to marry my son?" Chi-Chi's sharp question took both Videl and Erasa by surprise.
"W-What?! No! Absolutely not!" Videl stuttered, her cheeks flushing red. Erasa couldn't help but snicker at her girlfriend's flustered response.
"Hpmh, I wish... but some old lady beat me to it!" Erasa couldn't help but blurt out, earning a playful elbow from Videl.
Chi-Chi's expression grew even more skeptical, "Old lady? What are you talking about?"
Videl and Erasa exchanged a look, realizing they might have already given too much away. "It's nothing, really," Videl said quickly. "We just have some things to discuss with him about recent events in the city."
While the three women were talking and arguing, Gohan heard most of the conversation and feared the worst. He couldn't let his secret identity be revealed. He had to think fast. He tried to sneak out using the back door.
However, Videl saw him crouching away and had Erasa intercepted him on the other side, scaring Gohan.
"Hello, Mr. Hero~" Erasa said with a wink, as she stepped aside to reveal Gohan in his Great Saiyaman costume, sweat beads forming on his forehead.
Gohan's eyes widened, his heart racing. He had been so focused on cooking that he hadn't noticed them arriving. "W-What are you two doing here?" he stuttered, his voice muffled by the mask, "Who are you two?!"
"Oh, you'll find out soon enough," Videl said, her voice filled with a mix of amusement and determination. She stepped closer to Gohan, her hand on her hip. "We've come to talk about your little... hobby."
"Ummm...-?!" Gohan was cut off when Chi-Chi, having heard the commotion, rushed into the room with Bulhan in her arms, her eyes wide with shock as she took in the sight of Gohan in his Great Saiyaman attire.
"Hey, stay away from...Ummmm... My friend!" Chi-Chi said, her protective instincts kicking in as she stepped in front of Gohan, holding Bulhan tightly.
"M-Mom, it's okay. I'll talk to them... J-Just make sure that Bulhan is safe, okay?", Gohan stuttered, his voice barely audible through the mask.
Chi-Chi nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. She took Bulhan and retreated to the other room, leaving Gohan to face the music.
...
Once Gohan and the girls went outside, they then confronted Gohan, asking if he can do those absurd things, if he is the green warrior/Great Saiyaman or if he uses tricks.
"And before you even think about lying, I am a cop and I saw footage of you fighting the Androids, you really think I wouldn't recognize that scar? Next time use a helmet" Videl said, crossing her arms over her chest, her tone firm but not accusatory.
"I suggest you tell her something... I don't know if even my big juicy ass can hold her~" Erasa said with a smirk, watching Gohan sweat.
Videl had a big shade of pink on her cheeks when she realized what Erasa said, "Erasa!" she scolded her under her breath.
Gohan's eyes darted back and forth between the two officers, his heart racing. He had been so careful, and now it all might come crumbling down. He took a deep breath, trying to compose himself. "Okay, okay. I... I am the Great Saiyaman," he admitted, his voice shaking slightly.
"Okay... Then how can you do those crazy things? Are they tricks?!" Videl was still unconvinced, her voice a mix of skepticism and wonder.
"It's true, you see, all of this is possible by controlling and using the Ki… Hmmm… how can I better explain it to you? Oh, I know". Gohan, being as naive as ever, fired a Ki blast at some rocks, destroying them in the process.
The girls were left speechless for a moment, staring at the smoking crater where the rocks used to be. Gohan looked at them with a hopeful expression, "Well, what do you think?"
"That... was... AWESOME!" Erasa couldn't contain her excitement, her eyes shining like stars. "So it's all real? The flying, the energy blasts, the strength... everything?"
"Heh... Y-Yeah..."
Videl, on the other hand, remained professional despite the jaw-dropping display. "Your powers are incredible, Gohan. But you can't just go around playing superhero without any accountability. It's against the law."
"I...I know... But I just wanted to do something to help. Of course, I'm not saying that the police are bad at their job. They're doing a good job! But, do you guys really think that the police will stand a chance against someone with... with the power of a Saiyan?" Gohan's voice was filled with genuine concern, "Or someone evil with destructive powers?"
The girls saw the truth in Gohan's words, and Videl sighed heavily. "You're right. The world has changed, and we might need all the help we can get. But, we need to find a way to work together. We can't have vigilantes running around, no matter how good their intentions are."
"Then what's the plan, babe?" Erasa asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Videl points her finger at the metal-armed lone warrior, "This man right here is gonna teach us~"
"Really?! Cool!" Erasa's eyes lit up with excitement before looking at Gohan, "So, we're gonna learn how to be like you?"
"Hold up, woah, woah, woah! I can't just turn you two into superheroes, let alone warriors overnight," Gohan protested, his eyes wide with shock. "It takes years of training and discipline to control this kind of power."
That was when Videl smirks, "Well, it's either that... Or... otherwise I'll tell everyone who the Great Saiyaman is."
Gohan was a bit upset when he heard that, "Are... Are you BLACKMAILING ME?!"
Videl laughed, "Oh, come on, Gohan. It's not like that. We just want to learn from you, so we can help too."
Erasa then looked at her girlfriend, "Videl, you do know that blackmail is against the law...~ I might have to arrest you after this~"
Videl rolled her eyes, "Oh, please. It's for the greater good, and it's not like we're asking him to do anything illegal. Just to teach us a few moves to defend ourselves."
Gohan was still upset that Videl was abusing her power, but he knew that she had a point. If they were going to keep his identity a secret, he would have to help them understand his abilities better. "Fine," he said with a sigh. "But this is only because you're going to help me keep my secret."
Erasa quickly hugs him and kisses him on the cheek, "Thank you, Gohan!" she says, her voice filled with joy.
Videl, on the other hand, maintains her professional demeanor, "We'll need to keep this under wraps. We can't have the public knowing about aliens and superheroes. It'll cause a panic," she says firmly.
Gohan nods, understanding the gravity of the situation. "I can train you, but only if you promise to use your new skills responsibly and keep our secret safe," he tells them.
"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me," Erasa said with a wink, "Mostly because I don't blackmail people~"
Videl then looks at her partner with a smirk, "And we're gonna keep an eye on you, so you don't go off saving cats from trees every two minutes," she teases, trying to lighten the mood.
Gohan sighs, "I promise I won't let my duties as a father and teacher interfere with my... extra-curricular activities," he says, his voice still a bit shaky.
Videl nods, "Good. We'll start with the basics. Whenever you're free, we'll come over and train. We'll do it in secret, of course," she says, her mind already racing with the possibilities of what they could achieve together.
Gohan nods in agreement, his mind racing as well. He never thought that his secret identity would be discovered by the police, let alone become an ally to them. But he knew that with the increasing dangers in the world, it was better to have more people capable of fighting alongside him.
Also, he was just happy that it was only just the two policewomen and not the whole force knocking at his door. "Okay, okay, let's do this," Gohan said, trying to keep his cool. "But remember, I can't be your full-time trainer. I have my own responsibilities, especially with Bulhan."
"Oh, the child you have with Miss Bulma, right?" Erasa asked, her voice a mix of curiosity and teasing.
Gohan nodded, "Yes, I need to be there for him. And for Bulma, she's been through a lot." That was when something occurred to him, "Wait, how did you two know about that?"
"We went to Bulma's house before going here," Videl said, her cheeks slightly reddening. "And she might have mentioned something about you two being a couple."
Gohan sighed, "Well, it's not like we're hiding it, but we do try to keep our private lives, you know, private." He looked at the two of them, his expression serious. "But I guess if you're going to be my... students, then you need to know everything."
"How about we start the training tomorrow?" Erasa suggested, "It looks like you've been through a lot, huh?"
Gohan nodded, "Thank you, I appreciate it," he said, feeling relieved that they weren't going to push him too hard, especially since he had to figure out how to balance his newfound role as a teacher with his duties as a father and protector.
"Well, see you later, Mr. Son Gohan," Videl said with a smirk, turning to leave with Erasa. "We'll bring snacks tomorrow."
Gohan watched them go, his mind racing with what he had just agreed to. As soon as the helicopter disappeared into the horizon, he turned to Chi-Chi, who was standing in the doorway, Bulhan in her arms. "Mom, I know you're not going to believe this, but I need to tell you something..."
A few minutes later...
"SHE BLACKMAILED YOU?!" Chi-Chi's voice echoed through the house as Gohan recounted his encounter with Videl and Erasa. Her eyes widened with a mix of disbelief and anger, "Those little... When I see them again, I'm going to-"
"Mom, it's okay. They're just trying to learn so they can help," Gohan interrupted, his voice calm but firm. He knew his mother's fiery temper could get the best of her, especially when it came to his safety.
Chi-Chi took a deep breath, trying to process the news. "Fine," she said, her voice still tight with concern. "But you make sure to keep an eye on them. And no funny business!" she added, pointing a finger at Gohan, "I may be okay with your relationship with Bulma, but that's ONLY BECAUSE I get to see Bulhan every now and then!"
Gohan nodded, "I understand, mom. I'll be careful." He knew that his mother was only looking out for him, but he couldn't help but feel a bit overwhelmed by the situation. Training Videl and Erasa was a big responsibility, and he didn't want to disappoint them or put them in danger.
This almost reminds him of when he was training Trunks during the android saga. Heck, he would later meet the daughter of the deceased Yamcha - Chesami - and train her too as well. Luckily, Master Roshi showed up and helped out every now and then, even though he was getting old in years.
"Let's just... Try to enjoy the afternoon, okay, son?" Chi-Chi said, trying to ease the tension. "You can start training those girls tomorrow."
Gohan nodded, his mind still racing. "Thanks, mom. I guess I should go check on Bulhan," he said, heading towards the room where his mother had taken him.
As he approached, he heard Bulhan's laughter mixed with the clinking of pots and pans. Chi-Chi was trying to cook, something she rarely did, and it was clear she was enjoying the time with her grandson. The sight brought a small smile to Gohan's face, reminding him of the simpler times before the battles and the responsibilities.
The next day, Gohan found himself in the backyard, surrounded by Videl and Erasa, who were eager to learn the secrets of his power. He started with the basics of energy control, teaching them to sense the energy within themselves and their surroundings. It was clear that Videl was a natural, her martial arts training giving her an advantage in understanding the flow of ki. Erasa, on the other hand, was a bit more clumsy, often tripping over her own feet in her excitement.
As they trained, Bulhan played nearby, watching with wide eyes as his father and the two officers levitated small rocks and shot energy blasts. Gohan couldn't help but feel a sense of pride and responsibility, knowing that he was passing on the legacy of the Saiyans, heroes and warriors to these two humans who had shown so much courage and determination.
"Okay, girls, time to fly!" Gohan exclaimed with a grin, watching as Videl and Erasa stared at him with a mix of excitement and trepidation. They couldn't wait to take the skies... Literary!
Videl took a deep breath, "Alright, I'm ready," she said, her eyes focused and determined.
Gohan nodded, "Remember what I taught you, focus your energy and believe in yourself," he instructed.
With a deep breath, Videl concentrated, feeling the energy surge through her body. Her feet left the ground, and she hovered in the air, a look of amazement on her face. Erasa, on the other hand, took a few more tries, her body wobbling like a newborn deer before finally achieving a stable hover. They both laughed at their initial clumsiness, and Gohan couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment.
"This... this is incredible!" Videl exclaimed, her eyes sparkling as she gently descended to the ground.
"This... is... so... cool!" Erasa squealed as she managed to hover a few inches off the ground, her face beet-red with exertion. Videl couldn't help but chuckle at her partner's antics, her own feet firmly planted on the earth as she practiced moving objects with her ki.
"Happy that you girls are getting the hang of it," Gohan said, his eyes shining with pride. He watched as they both floated in the air, trying to control their movements. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over the training session.
...
Videl and Erasa saw that it was time for them to head home, their heads buzzing with newfound knowledge and excitement. Before they left, Videl turned to Gohan with a serious expression. "We're counting on you, Gohan. We need to be ready for whatever comes next."
Gohan nodded solemnly, "I'll do my best to prepare you both. Tomorrow, we're doing some combat training"
Videl and Erasa looked at each other, a mix of excitement and apprehension. They had no idea what was in store for them, but they were ready to face it head-on.
"Goodnight, girls," Chi-Chi called out as Videl and Erasa waved and disappeared into the night sky, leaving Gohan to his thoughts. The gravity of the situation was sinking in - not only was he now a father and a teacher, but he had also just agreed to train two human police officers in the ways of a martial arts warrior.
