(Hey Everyone, wow... this REALLY took a long time... which I apologize for and hope this chapter is worth the wait. I was sick with, if you could believe it, a summer cold. and I was away for the weak for a cruise to Bermuda. Beautiful country, friendly people. and really... REALLY impossible to find a good internet connection to finish this chapter.

Now to address some reviewers:

Go Princess Moonstar: Actually I had her act that way when the Predacons were firing on her based on what I saw from "Trigun" when the main character Vash dodged the bullet and acted all scared just to get close to the badguy to disarm him. and that bit where she told Croaker to never call her Doll was from my favorite Basketball movie "Space Jam" where Lola said that to Bugs Bunny and one of the Monstars.

Clynch: I understand but please be patient. I was really busy with stuff I couldn't just stop and write instead of doing. I'll take your ideas under advisement but please relax. I know what I am doing.

Disclaimer: I do not own anything of Pokémon or Beast Wars they are the properties of their respective owners. Foxfire is a OC Maximal made by Stone-Man85 in his own story "Beast Wars".

(A Blizzard Epidemic)

While the kids ran after Cotton-Buns to see if she was all right, they began to talk and explain to the youngest Autobot more about their planet. Also about the amazing creatures called Pokémon and the people who bond with them through training, battles, or contests.

Dawn, noticing the worried look in her Buneary's face, said, "Don't worry Buneary, I'm sure Optimus won't do anything too drastic."

The Pokémon performer was still surprised to learn that the Pokémon that Ash and his new friends had met were actually robotic aliens from another planet and were able to transform into Pokémon. She, however, was shocked to find out that the Predacons were after other Maximals who then were reprogrammed to become other Predacons. She couldn't help but feel sorry for those that were reprogrammed and fought against them when it was not their fault.

Serena offered Cotton-Buns a Poképuff which the Buneary Maximal tried. After swallowing it, she squealed, in delight, "IT'S SO GOOD!"

The group began to laugh as she continued eating puff after puff. However, Chespin came out of his Pokéball and began to fight her for the puffs. As they all tried to get the two to stop fighting, Rhynox approached and told them that Optimus had made a decision about what to do with Cotton Buns. Everyone went back into the ship and waited. Optimus entered and he informed them that he made his decision.

"I've come to an important decision involving our latest Maximal after viewing the information and what was witnessed when she saved our friends from the Predacons. And I've decided that Cotton Buns… will be added on… as a trainee of the crew." Optimus said. As he spoke his last sentence everyone remained silent from suspense. When they heard what Cotton-Buns would be doing, every one of the trainers, Pokémon, and younger Maximals began cheering and congratulating the youngest Maximal. Rhynox nodded in satisfaction at his old friend's right decision. Kabubot was well… Kabubot about it.

"But don't tink dat means yer can be on 'very mission. Compared to de kids an' dere Pokémon, yer just gonna get in the way, newbie." Ratitrap pointed out.

That caused Cotton-Buns to snip. Sticking out her tongue at the marksmen, she snapped,"Well, at least I was able to take out a pred all by myself and not complain about it you overweight garbage disposal!"

"Okay dats it!" He shouted, "Ah'm gonna get yer keester in a playpen if yer gonna act like a like protoform dat just turn on."

"Go run into a mouse trap, cat bait!"

"Stand out in a storm, antenna ears!"

"Stubby feet!"

"Dust Bunny!"

Everyone sighed as their argument continued on. Finally Optimus ordered them to cool off in their quarters.

Turning to the trainers, he said, "It's been a long day, maybe you all should turn in for the night before you continue on journeys?"

"I guess I should be going…" Dawn said and got up. Her Pokémon looked sad to be going so soon, especially Buneary and Piplup.

Ash however said, "Oh come on, Dawn. Stay with us for the night. I'm sure Optimus wouldn't mind."

The Maximal leader looked over to the coordinator and assured her, "We have more than enough room for you and the rest of your team to spend the night here. If you wish."

"Really?" Dawn asked smiling, "Thank you so much."

She, Serena, and Bonnie continued on their way to the quarters that were given to them by Optimus and the team.

The boys went on their way to their assigned quarters and soon drifted off to sleep.

Bonnie, Dedenne, Fennekin, and Dawn's Pokémon went to sleep while the two girls spoke to each other.

"So what was it like? Traveling with Ash when he came to Sinnoh?" Serena asked, trying to hide her feelings for the boy from Kanto.

Dawn however saw through it and said, "Well… Ash was a determined battler, but a strong and caring Trainer. He was really friendly to me when we first met, and helped me with my Contests. Sure we may have argued a little bit but not as much as I'm sure his other friends might tell you."

"Was it true about what he said about a trainer who treated his Pokémon badly when they lost a battle?" Serena asked, worried.

Dawn, thought about it before explaining, "Well if you're talking about Paul. When they first met Paul was downright rude to anyone who wasn't a gym leader. He actually thought that Ash's style of training them was causing them to become slackers. But that only led them to clash more to the point where Ash became determined to beat Paul. He finally beat him in the Sinnoh League."

Dawn smiled at the memories and told her new friend, "Ash had been strategic, especially when it involved changing teams in the Lily of the Valley Conference in the Sinnoh League. He enjoyed battling with his Pokémon and was a lot more mature than he was back when he traveled with May in Hoenn. He didn't even need much help. He kept his humor with him if you were able to laugh at some of his jokes."

Serena sighed and said, "You're so lucky to have traveled with Ash for such a long time…"

Dawn observed the girl from Kalos and asked, "So what made you like Ash so much?"

That made Serena turn as red as the fur on Foxfire's ears. Nervously, She stuttered, "Wh-wh-What?! I- dn't know what you're talking about…"

"Ssssuuuuuuuurrrrrreeeee you don't." Dawn said, smiling slyly, not really convinced.

Seeing that the smile had not left, the embarrassed and shy Serena asked, "Is it that obvious?"

"Don't worry about it. Ash, though a good trainer, is a bit dense when it comes to relationships aimed towards him." Dawn assured her as they continued to lay in their temporary beds. Or Berths as the Maximals called them.

With her face still red, Serena asked, "Are you sure?"

"Absolutely. I mean sure he got bothered by me using a lure of a girl named Misty, but that was a long time ago." Dawn assured her as she went to bed.

Still feeling unsure, Serena looked out at the night sky before falling asleep with her new friend.

The humans did what they could to make the berths more comfortable for them. The Pokémon who were sleeping outside of their Pokéballs, slept peacefully as they were able to do so with their trainers nearby.

The following morning, the trainers awoke at the time they usually did when they start the day.

Ash and Clemont went to get breakfast ready outside while the others were still waking up. Soon Serena, Bonnie, and Dawn came out to help set up for breakfast.

They were all setting up their plates when two of the Maximals, Foxfire and Rhynox came over. Seeing them approaching, Dawn smiled, "Good morning."

"Good morning, Friend Dawn. It is a glorious morning at that." The Fennekin Maximal said as she saw how brightly the sun was shining.

"A little early for breakfast isn't it?" Rhynox asked, curiously, though he was amazed at how someone their ages were able to wake up early to start their day.

Ash nodded, "We thought it was a perfect time to get up before continuing on our journeys."

Pikachu came up and agreed with Ash while everyone got breakfast prepared. Foxfire provided some aid with her flamethrower, though she used a bit too much which caused it to take on a somewhat over cooked look. Everyone tried to cheer her up after she began to look down crestfallen.

Soon the other Maximals had awoke and came over to help out with breakfast. Kabubot grudgingly refused to do work beneath his warrior status. But a well-placed comment that if he didn't help then he didn't eat from Cotton-Buns made him march stiffly over and help out with breakfast. When the food was done, he stopped Chespin and Panchan from arguing due to how scary his true form's face looked to the two pre-evolved Pokémon.

As they ate, they discussed their plans. Ash and his group were going to continue on their journey through the Kalos region to get eight badges. Dawn was going to head back to Sinnoh and meet with her friend Maylene, and work more on her Coordination skills after talking with Serena about what a Pokémon Performer did. Optimus joined the conversation, trying some of the food, saying how he and his team would continue to search for more Pod signals and more Energon.

"What's Energon?" Dawn asked confused.

Absoltron calmly took the chance to explain, "Energon is the source of power for all Transformers from Cybertron. I guess you can say that we need it just like how humans and Pokémon need oxygen to breathe."

"Oh!" Dawn said, getting it.

"However in its crystalline form it is highly volatile and dangerous." Rhynox stated, before transforming into robot mode and approaching with the wrist device that Dawn had on her when she arrived to the Maximal base. Rhynox found it after Dawn left her borrowed room and brought it out to her after adding a function to it.

"You found my computer." Dawn said as she accepted it, "Thank you so much, Rhynox."

He smiled and said, helping her put it on her wrist, "I added the base's frequency in case you run into any Predacons, found any Energon, or picked up news reports of one of our stasis pods."

Dawn nodded, "No need to worry. I'll keep an eye out for you all. It's the least I can do."

She took a bite of her food and said, delighted, "I can't believe how good of a cook you are, Clemont."

Clemont felt his cheeks heating up as his sister popped up and said, "That's because my brother's the best cook around."

"Now Bonnie, I wouldn't say that." Clemont said, feeling more embarrassed from the praise.

Ash smiled, "Don't be like that. Your cooking's as great as the food Brock and Cilan make."

"Brock? Cilan?" Ash's Kalos companions asked, confused.

Ash turned to explain, "Brock and Cilan are friends of mine who traveled with me before I came to Kalos. Brock's been traveling with me since I began my Pokémon journey back in Kanto after I won the Gym battle against him at Pewter city. He and Misty traveled with me all throughout Kanto and Johto. But during the Orange Islands Brock stayed with the local professor to learn more about becoming a Pokémon Breeder. But came back to join me during my journey through Johto. Then we met and traveled throughout Hoenn and then Sinnoh where we met Dawn and Brock decided to become a Pokémon doctor."

Dawn and Ash were silent. They remembered the good times they had with Brock in Sinnoh before Ash continued, "Cilan's another good friend of mine from Unova, o0ne of the Gym Leaders of Striaton City with his two brothers. Cilan is a great guy to depend on when you're in trouble. He also is a great Pokémon Connoisseur."

"Pokémon Connoisseur?" Everyone asked simultaneously, confused by the title.

Ash nodded, "Cilan said that a Pokémon Connoisseur was a trainer who specializes in identifying the bond between Pokémon and trainer."

Serena, however, stated in surprise, "That's incredible. To be able to tell how strong the bond between a trainer and their Pokémon is."

Clemont nodded at that, adding, "Yes, there must be a great deal in the requirement training in being able to identify such things between humans and Pokémon."

Ash grinned and finished, "Well, he and another trainer I was traveling with, Iris, left to go on their own journeys to realize their own dreams. After saying bye to them, that was when I decided to go to the Kalos Region."

"You certainly met some interesting people on your journey, Ash." Absoltron said, he had been sitting patiently, listening to the boy's stories, studying the trainer with interest.

After they finished clearing the plates, utensils, and napkins, Dawn got herself ready and approached the gateway. Turning to face them, Dawn said, "It was so nice meeting all of you."

"And you as well, Dawn." Optimus said as he and his team watched as the girl turn to the gate. Rhynox activated it with help from Foxfire, making sure that the levels were safe for the human girl and her Pokémon.

Clemont and the others waved to Dawn before she returned to the Sinnoh Region. The gate closed after a few seconds without any technical issues.

The base received a call and Dawn's voice was heard, "Umm Optimus? Are you there?"

"Yes Dawn. Glad to hear you're okay." Optimus said, glad to hear that the girl was safe.

She let out a sigh of relief, "Thank goodness. I'm so worried."

"Hey Dawn? It's Ash, any idea where you are? How far off are you from the drop off spot?" Ash asked, remembering the last several times the Maximals and his friends were off the mark whenever they arrived.

"Actually I'm exactly where I was before hearing you and the others, Ash." Dawn replied. This caused all of them, minus Kabubot, to let out sighs or cheers that the gate's systems were finally working. Then she said, "Looks like the gate's bugs are cleared out now."

"Glorious." Foxfire cheered, happy to hear the news, "Now friend Dawn and team can come over when they wish."

"Unfortunately, because of how much Energon this is taking, we won't be able to have everyone come over as much as we hoped." Rhynox explained. He saw the fell crestfallen faces of the children. Especially Cotton-Buns, who had a closer bond to the coordinator, due to the fact that the Pokémon she scanned her Poké mode from was a member of Dawn's team.

However, Dawn assured, "No need to worry, I'll definitely call if I run into something that I think you should know about, especially if a stasis pod's been found by someone."

"Appreciate it Dawn." Optimus said as he ended the communications. He looked at Ash and his friends, "Have you all prepared to continue on your journey?"

Ash nodded, "Yup."

"We'll be able to send you to the road leading into Coumarine City. From there you should be able to reach the gym and the performers' competition that you have." Optimus said looking to both Serena and Ash.

Cheator came over and said, "But if things get too much to handle, call on us, okay?"

"You bet Cheator." Ash said giving the maximal a thumbs up as well.

Rhynox and Foxfire began inputting the coordinates before letting Ash's group entered it.

Once they received confirmation that the children arrived safely, the Maximals returned to their duties of finding Energon, studying the planet they were on, and looking for more Maximal beacons.

It was some time, almost some hours had passed, before Rhynox reported, "Optimus. I'm getting strange weather readings coming from Courmarine City."

"Strange how, Rhynox?" Optimus asked approaching his old friend's station.

Rhynox pulled up the weather map, "These readings show that a blizzard is forming directly above Courmarine city."

"That's where Ash and the others are!" Cheator and Foxfire exclaimed, fear and worry growing.

Ratitrap however, explained, trying to leave as something unimportant, "Ah, dey're probably in a battle. Dat Clemont kid did say dere were moves dat c'uld temporarily change de weather."

"Over an entire city?" Cotton-Buns asked looking at the Raticate based Maximal with a look that said 'you got to be kidding'.

Kabubot let out a growl when he approached to look at the weather map, "An unusual weather pattern. It could be a new Predacon weapon."

"Probably. But we better call Ash and the others to be sure." Optimus said, wanting to be safe about this rather than rush into a situation where they would be exposed.

Absoltron nodded, activating the comm device that was given to Ash's group before they left, "Serena, do you read me? Serena?"

"Absoltron? Is that you?" Serena's voice came through garbled and cutting off, most likely due to the intensity of the blizzard.

Absoltron nodded saying, "Yes, we've received unusual weather in your location; what's going on over there? Are you all alright?"

"It's Team Rocket! They stole a Vanilite from the Pokemon center and now Vanillish and Vanilluxe must have heard its cries for help and they have made a huge blizzard. They're attacking everyone!" Serena explained in between evading the ice attacks headed her way.

"Team Rocket Poké-napped a sick Pokémon?" Cheator asked, getting angry.

"How deplorable!" Foxfire exclaimed angrily.

Looking at his team, Optimus asked the performer, "Serena, do you need back up?"

"I don't think so. The Gym leader, Ramos, is just about to stop the blizzard and help calm the Vanillish and Vanilluxe-" Serena began before everyone heard.

"Predacons, TERRORIZE!"

"On second thought…"

Optimus however said, "We're on our way!"

Turning to the members of his team, "Maximals! Prepare to move out!"

Optimus, Kabubot, Foxfire, Cheator, and Ratitrap went off towards the gate while Rhynox, Absoltron, and (much to her disappointment) Cotton Buns remained behind.

Ash and company were searching everywhere for the kidnapped Vanilite when the worst blizzard in Courmarine City hit. While on the trail of the thieves they found out that it was Team Rocket behind the kidnapping and the blizzard was revealed to be the work of the two Ice-types, Vanillish and Vanilluxe in response to Vanilite being taken by Team Rocket. While the two were trying to freeze everyone, Ash tried to get them to calm down, unaware of the threat posed by the two angry Pokémon.

Ramos came out on his Gogoat and saved him using the Grass-type's Vine Whip to pull Ash to safety. All the while Serena was conversing with someone on a wrist like device.

The gym-leader called out his Jumppuff when…

"Predacons, TERRORIZE!"

Everyone, human and Pokémon turned to see a super large Skorupi transforming into a humanoid robot with Skorupi motif armor.

"What the?!" Ramos exclaimed as his trusted Gogoat dodged a pair of missiles heading his way.

Ash gritted his teeth, seeing the Predacon, "Not now."

Looking to Serena, Ash asked, "Serena? Did you-"

"They're on their way, Ash." Serena assured him as she and the others took cover behind some trees, just as more Predacons joined the battle. Buzzinator, Terrorsaur, Scythecutter, and Croaker came out and joined in the attack.

Ramos, seeing that these youngsters knew more about these…robots… asked, "W'at in Tarnation's goin' on 'ere?"

"It's… a long story." Ash said as Pikachu attempted to send a Thunder bolt towards the Predacons.

Ah'm will'n to lis'en ahfter this." Ramos said as he looked at the blizzard, worried about its condition.

Skorupinok went to where Team Rocket was frozen and said to the Croagunk Predacon, "Get them outta there, kid."

"No worries daddyo." Croaker said as he got into a stance, with an overdramatic, "OOOOooooooooo….Yagh!"

He jabbed a Brick Break into the ice that covered the members of Team Rocket. The ice around them shattered as the criminal trio were freezing.

"What happened?" Jessie asked shivering.

"I don't know but I have a severe case of the cold shoulders!" James exclaimed gently rubbing his arms.

Meowth was about to say something when he felt metal under his paw and looked up to see two of the Predacons there. Feeling a bit fearful of what they were doing here, Meowth began, "Oh… Hey guys… what's up?"

"Forget about that and bring out your machine." Skorupinok ordered, bringing Meowth up to his eye level, "Megatron wants to witness your temperature controlling device, Now!"

"N-no problem." Meowth meekly said as he pulled out a device and pressed it.

Within no time, a giant Meowth motif robot with the Team Rocket symbol on it rose up from the ground. Those assembled looked surprised by the sudden appearance of the robot, the Predacons alone were halfway up to its knee joints.

Inside the cockpit were the members of Team Rocket. Meowth snickered, "Now dat we got dis 'ere robot, making t'ings difficult for de trewps will be a breeze."

The robot used one arm to grab the Vanillite and placed it into one of it's chest containers. While the Vanillish and Vanilluxe were shocked to see this, they weren't able to defend themselves against a Vacuum Wave from Scythecutter and an Iron Head from Terrorsaur, sending the two evolved Pokémon into the other two containers.

"Now that we have all three in our cold collectors, we can turn the power up all the way to ten." Meowth said. He turned on the power and began to use the ice powers within the ice-types through their machine.

"Using their power in such a manner makes our plan B almost as good as plan A." James exclaimed earning glares or disappointed looks from the Predacons, which made him weakly slumpt, "Or so I thought…"

"Enough with the explanatory taunt: turn those humans into kid-icles!" Terrorsaur exclaimed with a caw.

"All right, all right! Sheesh! …At least your boss has manners…" Jessie muttered as the robot began firing a concentrated blast of icy wind towards the humans opposing them. The Predacons watched this with amusement.

Ash glanced at his friends and said, "We need to try and stop that thing's vent before we can stop the blizzard."

"Right." Both Serena and Clemont said as they called out the Pokémon that could do the most damage, Fennekin and Luxio. However, they were hit by poison attacks from both Croaker and Buzzinator.

"Fennekin!" Serena cried out in fear as she rushed over to her partner.

"Luxio!" Clemont cried out as he and Bonnie went to check on his old friend.

Croaker grinned as he hopped back over to his fellow Predacons and said, "Be thankful that those chumps want yer Pokémon for their boss. Heard that the fox and lion ones are rare."

"Yeah, what the kid said." Skorupinok agreed. Looking over at Team Rocket, he ordered, "Hit 'em again. Make them freeze."

"Aye, aye!" The members of Team Rocket said as they increased the power, making the blizzard worse.

Just as things began to become bleak, the familiar sound of the Maximal's gate opening reached Ash's ears as five of the Maximals came out in Poké mode.

Ramos stared in surprise when he saw this, especially as he heard the Slaking order, "Maximals, Maximize!"

One by one Ramos saw these five Pokémon transform into more robots. Just as he was about to order his Gogoat to attack, the children before him cried out,

"No Stop!"

"Please, don't attack!"

"They're here to help!"

Ramos looked puzzled at this before seeing that these newcomers were indeed there to help by the way they rushed into the dangerous winds and fought the robots that were attack them.

Foxfire used her fire based weapon against the freezing wind heading towards her friends. Cheattor went charging in, taking Croaker with him into one of the frozen trees by use of a Tackle attack.

Ratitrap began firing at Buzzinator until the buzzing fool hit the ground head first with a loud thud. He was able to get a few laughs from the kids and sighed, "Man… dis is why Ah still dink you kids shuld just forget you saw us."

"We'll talk about what happened later Ratitrap, but for now send the Predacons packing!" Optimus ordered as he approached Ash and company, asking, "What's the Situation?"

"Team Rocket has a robot that captured Vanilite and its two evolutionary forms, Vanillish and Vanilluxe. They're using them to power that robot into turning it into a weapon to freeze us." Clemont said in place of Ash who was ordering Pikachu to help by sending Thunder Bolts at the Predacons.

Kabubot growled as he muttered, "Cowards."

He then charged in weapons drawn, giving his usual battle cry. Before he collided with Skorupinok and took their fight away. Optimus stayed to guard the children, before seeing Ramos, and paled, "Ash… what have…"

"It's okay, Optimus. This is Ramos, Gym Leader of Courmarine City." Ash explained while Pikachu was sending Thunder Bolts to the Predacons and the robot.

Optimus was about to chastise them for calling them where someone would reveal their existence to other humans, but the wind from the blizzard grew worse. Ratitrap let out a sneeze as he fired and muttered, "W'at de heck is with dis weird weather?"

"I do not know, it does not appear natural." Foxfire stated as she kept firing at the Predacons.

"It's Vanillish and Vanilluxe's Blizzard combined! The combined energy of their emotions, plus what is being drawn by Team Rocket's machine is causing it to escalate to dangerous levels." Clemont cried out over the freezing wind.

Optimus grimaced, seeing how cold everyone was getting because of the intensity of this storm, "If we can't get those Ice-type Pokémon out of that machine then we must do what …"

He stopped talking causing Ramos to look shocked. Clemont caught on before shouting, "Hold on, hold on Optimus! We don't need to go to such extremes."

"I'm open to any suggestion Clemont." Optimus said as he tried firing at the vent.

"Ah believe Ah have a plan, if y'all don't mind." Ramos said as he called out his Jumpluff, a flying/grass type Pokémon, "Jumpluff use Sunny Day!"

Jumpluff's body became surrounded in golden energy and it raised both of its hand fluffs into the air. Next it fired multiple golden, ring-shaped energies into the sky, causing the clouds to disappear and left the sky sunny and clear."

Every one of the off-world combatants stared, either in amazement or gawking in shock, at how a powerful blizzard was taken out by a simple move like that.

"Jumping Gyros! That was amazing!" Cheattor commented. He was busy using Scythcutter as a scratching post for his Slash empowered claws.

"That's not all, young fella." Ramos said to the Leipard Maximal, before he then cried, "Now all my Sunflora, come together as one!"

From all around them many of the Sunflora Pokémon came rushing at his summons. Ratitrap, who had Croaker face first into the ground, turned to see the small plant like creatures hurrying to their trainer's call.

While fighting the traitor, Skorupinok shouted at Team Rocket, "Quick use that machine to freeze those things." Feeling his grip on Kabubot's saber weakening, he added, "Hurry!"

"Aye, aye!" Team Rocket echoed from within as they were about to do that. Ratitrap and Optimus open fired on the knee joints of the machine, causing them to aim to the sky while Foxfire ran up and began firing at the freezing vent, shouting, "You will harm no one else!"

This caused the vent explode. Ramos nodded proudly and ordered his gathered Sunflora, "Sunflora, combine forces and use your Solar Beam!"

All of them gathered the energy of the sun, focusing on their foreheads before firing the powerful grass-type move around, causing the snow to melt and return everything to how it was before the blizzard hit. Terrorsaur let out a surprised squawk before forcing himself back into the air, "This project's a bust, Predacons, return to base!"

He pressed on his forearm and was teleported back to the Predacon Base. One by one the other Predacons did the same. Skorupinok had to kick Kabubot off him before doing the same. While Kabubot was furious that his enemy fled like cowards he hurried back when he heard Optimus order, "Maximals! Get those Pokémon out of there!"

Kabubot and Cheattor slashed at two of the containers, weakening them while Ratitrap and Foxfire shot at the other one.

Rhynox came running over from the Gate as he cried out, "Leave the heavy lifting to me!"

With a roar, Rhynox used his strength to force the container doors open. The three ice-types were happy to be free as they flew away from Team Rocket's machine, much to Team Rocket's horror.

"Okay everyone, let's send them packing." Ash said to everyone. Just as most of the Maximals began to feel their systems shorting out, forcing them to return into their Poké modes. They watched as the trainers had their Pokémon use the most powerful moves at their disposal,

"Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!"

"Fennekin, use Flame Thrower!"

"Luxio, use Swift!"

"Gogoat, use Razor Leaf!"

Their combined attacks caused the robot to explode. The members of Team Rocket soared high into the air shouting,

"It's!"

"Blast off!"

"Time!"

Soon they disappeared into the sky gleaming like a star. The Maximals were surprised that Pokémon moves of different types could provide better offensives together than alone with those of the same move from multiple Pokémon of the same type.

After the battle, the Maximals returned to base, as they couldn't enter the Pokémon center with their human allies for the Nurse Joy and staff may discover the truth about them. So it wasn't until sunset that they got a call from Ash, telling them that the Vanillite, Vanillish, and Vanilluxe were able to return home. And that Ramos was Coumarine City's Gym Leader who, from what they witnessed, specializes in Grass-type Pokémon.

Happy to hear that, Optimus said, "I'm glad to know that we were able to help Ash."

Before his expression became serious, "But for your safety I must ask you to return to the base now that the Predacons and Team Rocket know that we are allies."

"What're you talking about Optimus?" Ash asked confused from his end of the communications, "I'm sure you and the Maximals will be there for us if we get in trouble again."

Before Optimus could continue the conversation, he saw the trainer from Kanto yawning into his hand, saying to the boy, "We'll discuss this another time, but for now, please get a good night's sleep. Especially if you want to win the match against Ramos tomorrow."

"Yeah, you're right." Ash agreed, getting into the sheets as he smiled, "Good night, Optimus."

"Good night Ash." Optimus said before ending the communications and returned to his quarters for the work he and the other Maximals have to do for the days to come.

(WHOO! that was a close one wasn't it? I mean, the Preds helping Team Rocket out in something that doesn't involve Energon or stasis pods? What will happen now that Ramos knows about the Maximals and Predacons? Will he have to go through a memory Wipe? Be sworn to secrecy? Or be held captive so that he doesn't tell anyone else about them? I wonder what'll happen involving the transformers for the days to come... So stay tuned, as the Journey continues.

P.S. the next story I'm going to update is "Godzilla's Attack on Titan" in case anyone's interested but... I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who's not over the age of 16.)
