Location: Menagerie

Adam stepped of the small boat now parked at the dock of the island, the streets were empty doors and windows closed shut, well it was obvious with how he didn't hide his approach, he thought as he looked back to sea where a bigger boat with the White fang symbol on the flag raised, faunus would avoid him. He spoke to the White fang member that brough him to the island from the other boat.

"Wait here it won't take long."

"Aye aye captain." The white fang member jokingly answered. Adam ignored that and started to walk towards the center of the city were a mansion loomed over and saw all of the island. His thoughts returned to the conversation he had with Banesaw his right-hand man.

"You sure this necessary?" Banesaw asked him.

"What going soft now Bane? Do you secretly like that island, I can admit the beaches are quite nice there, but I thought you hated this human grace given to us just as much as I did."

"Hah good joke Adam me liking that scam the humans gave us. But no, I'm serious Adam if you go you will have to meet her, I just think this is unnecessary, just give the command and we will accomplish it. There is no need to speak with them."

"No, they do. They deserve at least this much." At that moment he had left the room and now finally he was here. As a harsh wind was blowing in front of him, his long weathered red coat billowing in the wind behind him. A thought entered his head that maybe even gods did not want this to happen, but his mind was already made-up Menagerie would fall. He saw many gourds standing and guarding the entrance to the mansion of the current chieftess of the faunus. All of them pointed their spear at him as Adam got close to it, one stepped forward. He was a wolf faunus, his trait being wolf ears on top of his head, his skin was darker in color, and he had some scaring on his face.

"You're not welcome here. You should have not come Adam."

It turned into a standoff as both sides starred at each other. With each passing moment Adams hand traveled slowly closer to his weapon. This standoff was broken by a commanding female voice from behind the gate.

"Let him pass."

Adam saw as the wolf faunus grith his teeth and held his spear tighter, but still stepped aside. Adam rolled his eyes behind his mask as the gate opened and ten people were sitting on a slighty raised platform chairs laid out as the council and the chieftess looked down on him. As he walked in through the gate the gourds also entered and lined up behind him, the previously mentioned faunus in low voice warned him.

"No funny business."

"You know me, I'm the funniest guy arou-" A female voice cut him off.

"Adam, stop antagonizing the gourds." Adam body went taut when he heard it and finally looked at the woman speaking.

"Sienna and-" he looked at each of the council men he recognized them as sons and daughter of previous chiefs ones his age or even older that avoided fighting in the revolution just for that fact being children to those important figures. "-the rest of the bunch, it certainly has been a while-" One of the councilmen stood up he didn't really know his name or more likely didn't care enough to remember it.

"How dare you show your face here after the mess you made in Vale? The previous leaders had showed you mercy by only excommunicated you out of the faunus community for the mess you made then, they should have had you killed back then, but now you spit in the face of the grace given t-"

"Enough Jet-" So his name was Jet, Adam noted down he did remember a cowardly teen of his age at the time that had challenged him to a duel once by the same name, who surrendered and cried after a single hit from him. "- this will be a trial not and execution and we have an order of things here." Siennas amber eyes intently stared down the man until he sat down while looking anywhere but at her. Adam thought about how much she had changed. "Gourds our visitor looks tired from a long journey here bring a chair for him to sit at." Adam for a moment though he saw her eye soften as she looked at him, but it was probably just a trick of his mind. As when he blinked her expression was completely stoic. A chair was brough out and Adam sat down at him.

"Why have you come here Adam?"

"I know most of you hope that I would beg for forgiveness or mercy from you after all you egos are like that. Keep hoping that will never happen, what I have truly come is to say what must be said and then I'll leave."

"Bold of you to presume we would allow a criminal to leave and not hand you over to the kingdoms." A different councilman said.

"You can try… You won't succeed."

"Wha. do you think you hold any pow-" A hand raised by Sienna cut him off.

"You may leave whenever you wish no one will try to stop you." Dissatisfied grunts and hums of surprise, whisper between the council men fallowed this statement. A single look from Sienna shut them all up.

"A smart choice. Now onto why I am here, I have come to give you the choice join me travel to the kingdoms or stay here and struggle, some of you may survive, but considering how weak the faunus of this island have grown over the years, many wont." The gourds aimed their spears at him. Many councilmen wanted to speak but Sienna spoke first.

"Is that a threat?"

"No, a warning. A change is coming." Adam stood up from his seat and started walking ignoring the council men and only speaking to the gourds. Black clouds of smoke could be seen breaking out all over the outskirts of Menagerie. "We will take the kingdoms from the corrupt! The rich!" Shouts of faunus reached the mansion as the councilmen watched in horror. "The oppressors of generations who have kept us down with myths of opportunity, and we will give it back to the people. None shall interfere." Adam pushed open the gates letting all see the grimm running around the city.

"What are you doing Adam!?" Sienna shouted out as she got up out her seat. He turned to look back at them as the city burned behind him.

"Step forward those who would serve. For and army will be raised. The powerful will be ripped from their decadent nests, and cast out into the cold world that we know and endure. Courts will be convened. Spoils will be enjoyed. Blood will be shed. The law will survive, as it learns to serve true justice. The faunus... will endure. The strong will survive!" On those words he turned around and walked of heading towards the docks none stopped him as all were frozen because of things happening before them.

When he reached the midpoint between the mansion and the docks. Grimm ran past him they ignored him as faunus all over ran for their lifes. He took out a small golden chain neckless that he wore on his neck, it had a ring on it and Adam though about how they never really did break their engagement. He wanted to rip it off and throw it away, but his hand refused to do so. Toking it back in behind his shirt he continued his walk to the docks as all around him fires raged on.

Adam got back on the boat as they set sail for the kingdom, not for single moment he looked back. Heavy footsteps came from behind him.

"How are you feeling commander?" Asked Banesaw.

"Finally a heavy weight was lifted of my shoulders. I feel free, like never before." The shame he felt after the faunus revolution was gone.

"Good. Where to now?"

"Mistral, the witch has her eyes on something there, and we can use that to our advantage."

Banesaw walks off as the scene fades to black.

Authors note: Yeah a shorter story then the last one and I will say that I do barrow the speech from Dark Knight Rises, which is to some extent against the rules of Fanfiction, but I have seen stories that break the rules set by fanfiction several times worse than what I did now and no one has a problem with those stories, no one does report them so I am hoping no problems will arise from this.
