Welcome To Part 1 Of My Two Part Mother's Day Special, Each Part Will Focus On Someone Different, Today's Will Focus On Tytus Primarily And Lincoln Secondary, While Tomorrow's Will Focus On Sakura. Enjoy, I Don't Own Anything!
"I can't believe tomorrow's Mother's Day!" Lincoln said as he, his sisters, Clyde and Sakura were down in the base. "I know! What should we do this year?" Leni asked. "I've got a few ideas, haven't finalized anything yet, but Mom should be happy with anything we do." Lisa said. "Uh, dudes?" Luna said, catching everyone's attention. "Do you really think it's a good idea to be talking about this in front of them?" She asked, pointing to Clyde, who having never really had a mother, just two fathers, and Sakura, who's probably still upset about what she learned about the accident behind her mother's death. "It's alright, Luna. My dads and I are going to do what we usually do every year. Spend time with my nana." Clyde said as Sakura pulled out her backpack and put it on. "And O bachan and I are actually headed back to Japan for the weekend to visit my parents' and Oniichan's graves." She said, picking up the photo she never leaves home without and her driver. "Just in case." She said, slipping the driver into her bag. "Which reminds me, my flight's in two hours. I'd better head back up to meet with O bachan so we can get ready." She said, heading to the elevator. "See you guys in a few days!" She said as the elevator went up. "Okay, Sakura! See you!" Everyone called out.
Downtown Royal Woods
As this was going on, Tytus was up topside, surveying the city, trying to think of a good plan for Aquilis. Everywhere she looked, she heard the same thing, people talking about their plans for Mother's Day. "I booked my mom and I reservations at the fanciest spa in town!" She heard one young lady say. "I got mine a ticket to the reunion concert of her favorite band who's playing in town tomorrow!" Another said. As this was going on, Tytus couldn't help but feel confused about all this. "Just what's going on?" She couldn't help but wonder, when she saw a man, she then hopped off the tree she was hiding in and approached the man, revealed to be Lynn Sr. (What, Did You Think I Wasn't Going To Have Them Be In This Story?) who screamed at the sight of the owl Animarius." AH! Animarius! Please don't hurt me! I've got a wife and 11 kids!" He said in terror as Tytus pointed her ninjato in his face. "Relax, human. I'm not here to- you have 11 kids?" She said in surprise. "And I thought the rabbit Animarius loved reproducing." She muttered. "Anyway, I just want to ask a question." Tytus said. "I'll tell you anything, just please don't hurt me!" Lynn Sr. begged. "What's going on here? Everywhere I look, I hear people talking about plans they have with their mothers." Tytus said. "Don't you know what tomorrow is?" Lynn Sr. asked. "Sunday?" Tytus asked. "The second Sunday in the month of May, AKA Mother's Day. It's a holiday we have in celebration of our mothers." He explained, surprising Tytus. "Really?" She asked. "Yeah. Don't you freaky aliens have anything like that?" He asked only for Tytus to point her ninjato closer to his neck. "Watch what you're saying, human. What kind of stuff do you do?" She asked. "Oh, you know. Stuff to show our mothers how much they mean to us, stuff like letting her take the day off, while they relax. Give them gifts, that sort of thing." He explained as Tytus had a wondering look on her face. "You okay?" Lynn Sr; asked. "I'm fine!" Tytus said, taking off.
Animarius Castle
As Tytus walked down the aisle of the castle, she couldn't help but think about what the human said. "Show our mothers how much they mean to us?" She repeated, thinking about Aquilis and how she's been like a real mother to her despite not actually being her parent. She thought about this as she ran into Ophiucus. "Hey, General Hissy!" She said, angering the serpent. "How many timessssssss do I have to tell you to not call me that!" Ophiucus said, angrily. "Have you seen my mother?" Tytus asked. "Lasssssst I checked, Aquilissssssss wassssssss in her lab working on a new line of Lizardon sssssssssssoldiersssssssssss to replace the onesssssssssss King Draco desssssssstroyed at his order." Ophiucus said. "Thank you." Tytus said, heading to the lab.
Aquilis' Lab
As the eagle Animarius was performing experiments on the slime that was leftover from Draco's destruction of the Lizardons, Tytus walked in. "Mother!" Tytus called out. "Yes, sweetie?" Aquilis called back. "I just got back from recon in the humans." Tytus said. "Anything good?" Aquilis asked. "Well, actually-" Tytus started saying, only to cut herself off. "No, nothing today." She said. She then turned to leave. 'I'm going to need some help with this, clearly.' Tytus thought to herself before noticing Aquilis' collection of soul cores, amongst them, was one depicting a stork in flight. 'Maybe, just maybe.' She thought to herself as she picked up the stork soul core and left.
Tree Of Life
Within the Tree of life's chamber, Tytus stood at it's base, throwing the soul core at a fruit. What burst forward was a humanoid, feminine stork. "What can I do for you, Lieutenant?" She asked.
A Few Hours Later
At the Loud House, the siblings were still deciding what to do for Mother's Day, when Lori noticed something on her phone. "Hey, guys. Check out this news report!" She said, turning everyone's attention to her phone. "Breaking News! Women all over Royal Woods are disappearing!" Katherine said, shocking the 11. "People are unsure as to what's happening, but one common thread amongst the people, is that they are all mothers!" She said. "That can't be good." Lincoln said. "Here's are some eyewitnesses to what happened." Katherine said as the feed cuts to the hobos Lincoln encountered during his first battle against Batkor. "It was crazy!" Jimmy said. "This lady just walked by, donating this delicious ramen when all of a sudden, this crazy bird thing swooped out of nowhere and kidnapped her!" Frank said. "Yep." Murray said. "Crazy bird thing?" Lincoln said, before pulling out his phone and turning on an app that was flashing 'Animarius Alert'. "Thank goodness you developed this app, Lisa. With Sakura back in Japan, this is our only way to tell when an Animarius is attacking!" Lincoln said as Lynn Sr. walked into the home. "Hey kids!" He called out as Lincoln and Lori hid their phones. "Where's your mom?" He asked. "We're not sure, she wasn't home when we got here." Luna said, causing the 11 to look at each other concerned. "She's probably running late. Man you would not believe the day I had! I ran into one of those freaky alien things that have been attacking the city." He said, shocking the siblings. "You did?" Lincoln asked. "Yeah, fortunately it didn't want to hurt me, just wondering what was going on, apparently they don't understand the concept of Mother's Day." He said. "Hey, Dad? What did this one look like?" Lincoln asked. "Like an owl with metal wings and a scary sword." Lynn Sr. said. "Tytus!" Everyone realized. "You think she could be involved in the disappearances?" Lori asked. "Possible, those hobos described a bird like being and the Barn Owl Is a bird." Lisa said. "But why would she do this?" Lola asked when Lori received an alert on her phone. "Breaking news! We just got footage of one of the disappearances on camera, watch and see what you can learn!" Katherine said as footage of Rita walking down a sidewalk, only for an Animarius to drop down and grab her before taking back off. "That was definitely an Animarius, not Tytus, but that doesn't mean she's not involved." Lincoln said, before steeling his resolve. "But since they kidnapped mom, that makes it personal!" He said, grabbing his driver and dormant Dirt Bike. "I'm headed out to try and find them!" He told his sisters. "Good idea! And I'll head to Toadus and Gorf's hideout and see if they can help us out!" Lisa said, heading up to her and Lily's room. "Why are you headed upstairs?" Lori asked. "I built emergency shuttles that are programed to take us either to the base or Toadus and Gorf's hideout and hid them in our rooms, just in case!" She revealed. "Wait, you did what?!" Lori asked as Lincoln started heading out. "No time! Dad, I'm going out to get some last minute supplies for tomorrow!" Lincoln said. "Okay, don't be gone too long!" Lynn Sr. said.
Meanwhile at an undisclosed location, the stork Animarius threw Rita into a room with several other women. "That's another one, Lieutenant Tytus!" She said. "Good, go back out there and see if you can find any others, once you've captured all the mothers in Royal Woods, let me know!" Tytus said. "Of course." The stork Animarius said before taking off. "Why are you doing this?!" Rita asked. "Well if you must know, human I-" Tytus started saying, only for a ringing noise to fill the room. "Oh, sorry. I've got to take this." She said, turning on the device causing a holographic Aquilis to pop up. "Tytus, I seem to be missing a soul core, have you seen it?" She asked. "Maybe. Which one is it?" Tytus asked. "The one containing the essence of a stork. I'm not sure why anyone would take it though. That's one of my weaker soldiers, only good for stealthily flying." Aquilis said. "Well, If I find anything out, I'll let you know. I love you mom." Tytus said. "I love you too, sweetie. Where are you anyway?" Aquilis asked her adopted daughter. "Oh, uh... I'm just getting some practice with my new wings in." Tytus said. "Would you look at the time, I've got to go, see you later, love you!" Tytus said, hanging up before turning to the hostages who had shocked looks on their faces.
Meanwhile, Lincoln was riding through town on his dirt bike, looking for clues to where Tytus took all the mothers. "I talked to Toadus and Gorf, unfortunately they have no idea why Aquilis or Tytus would do something like this." Lisa said over the communicator. "Okay, thanks Lisa." Lincoln said, hanging up. "There's got to be something going on here!" Lincoln said before noticing the radar Lisa put in on his and Sakura's bikes going off. "I've got something!" He said before looking up to see the Stork Animarius carrying off another woman. "Help! Let me go!" She said. "Gotcha!" Lincoln said, summoning his screen.
0-0-0-0! Tracker!
With a swipe, his satellite gun appeared, before he fired it, causing a beacon to hit the Stork Animarius' wing. "Now I'll be able to track you down, no matter where you go!" He said, linking his gun's radar to that of his bike.
Later at the warehouse Tytus set up shop in, the stork dropped off the latest captive. "That's the last of them, Lieutenant Tytus!" She said. "Excellent, now to do what I've been waiting all day to do." Tytus said. "I'm afraid whatever you've got planned is going to have to wait, Tytus!" Lincoln's voice rang out, everyone turned to see him, standing in the shadows like a boss. "LL? How did you-" Tytus started saying before noticing the tracking beacon on the Stork's wing. "You idiot! You lead him right to us!" She told her. "How was I supposed to know?!" The stork said, "Just deal with him while I finish with these women." Tytus ordered. "Yes ma'am!" The stork said before summoning a short sword and charging. "I don't know what you're planning, but I do know I can't let you get away with it!" Lincoln said.
1-7-6-4, Sword!
With a swipe, Lincoln's own sword was summoned as the two charged towards each other. "Now while that's going on..." Tytus started saying while approaching the women. "What do you ladies think I should do for my mother tomorrow?" She asked, surprising everyone, including Lincoln and the Stork Animarius, the question catching them off guard. "I'm sorry, what?" One woman asked. "I'm serious. What do you think I should do for my mother tomorrow?" Tytus said. "I'm sorry, can you explain?" Lincoln asked, he and the stork more confused than any of the women. "When I found out about this holiday you humans have celebrating mothers, I thought it would be a good idea to do something for my mother, but I'm not sure what!" Tytus said. "I was hearing about all these grand gestures people were planning on making, and I just wanted to do the same for her." Tytus said. "So you took this 'soul core' thing from her base and used it to capture all of us, just to try and figure out what to do for your mother?" Rita asked. "She's the only family I've ever known. My real parents were executed by King Draco for not complying with his orders, and she swore to raise me like a real mother would, and I wanted to do something to show her how much I appreciate everything she's done for me. From raising me from an egg, to training me to be a warrior, to these." She said, spreading her metal wings. "But I'm not sure how!" She admitted. "Well, why didn't you say so?!" Rita said, surprising everyone. "I have 11 kids, who always try to do great things for me on Mother's Day, so I think I can help, and I don't think I'm alone! Right ladies?" Rita said, turning to the others. "Definitely! We can help you make the perfect Mother's Day gift for her, one she'll never forget!" One said. Soon they were all helping Tytus with her little project as Lincoln and the stork Animarius just looked on with utter shock. "This confuses me." The stork said. "You and me both." Lincoln said.
Soon they had what they believed to be the perfect gift. "Do you ladies really think my mother will like this?" Tytus asked. "If she's like what you say she is, she will. Especially since it came from your heart." Rita said. "Thank you all. I appreciate this." Tytus said, passing between a still shocked Lincoln and stork Animarius. "Wait, that's it!? What do we do now?" The stork asked as Tytus pulled out her ninjato. "I prepare for tomorrow. You have fulfilled your purpose." Tytus said bluntly. "Animari Ninpo! Kaze Giri!" She cried, sending a shockwave that shattered the stork's soul core, causing her to blow up before reverting back to her soul core. "Consider this a gift LL." Tytus said, taking off as Lincoln picked up the soul core. "That was weird." He said before sealing the core and turning to the captives. "Are you ladies okay?" He asked. "We're fine. Tytus didn't do anything bad to us." Rita said. "Good, I trust you guys can find your ways home?" Lincoln asked, to which they all agreed. "Great, then you'd better go back home! Your families are probably worried about you." He said as the women started exiting the warehouse, except Rita. "Thanks for the help, Lincoln." She said, surprising Lincoln. "What? I have no idea what you're talking about ma'am! I've never seen you bef-" Lincoln started saying only for Rita to look at him sternly. "Okay, how did you know?" He asked, removing his driver. "There are somethings a mother just knows, sweetie. Also, Mrs. Hoseki's a part of my book club and she told me everything when we first met." Rita said. "Don't worry, it's just me, your father and everyone else are still in the dark." Rita said, heading out.
The Next Day
Walking into her lab with a yawn, Aquilis noticed an envelope on her desk. "Hmmm?" She asked in wonder before turning to see a message on the back.
To the best mother someone like me could ask for
-Tytus
Wondering what could be going on, Aquilis opened the envelope, to find a letter inside.
Dear Mother
You have raised me with as much love as I can hope for, you've been by my side through it all. You've treated me better than anyone ever could. I love you so much, and I can't think of anything better to show my appreciation for you than this letter and what I have behind you.
-Your loving daughter, Tytus.
"Behind me?" Aquilis asked, turning to see Tytus holding something in her hands. "Tytus? What's going on?" Aquilis asked. "Today's a holiday the humans celebrate called Mother's Day, I wanted to do something for you, but I wasn't sure what. So I took the Stork Soul Core, and used the Animarius created to take all the mothers in Royal Woods and ask for advice." Tytus admitted. "That was you?" Aquilis asked in surprise. "Yes, I'm sorry, Mother. I just didn't know what to do and-" Tytus started saying. "No need to apologize sweetie, I'm just impressed you took such an initiative. And proud for coming up with such a plan." Aquilis said before noticing something in her daughter's hands. "What's that?" She asked. "The mothers of Royal Woods helped me make this for you when I told them what was really going on." Tytus said, handing it to Aquilis. "I hope you like it." Tytus said. It was a heart shaped pillow with Tytus and Aquilis in a loving embrace needlepointed on the front. "Tytus. Thank you!" Aquilis said, hugging Tytus. "I love this, the fact that you made it makes it all the more special." Aquilis told her. "I love you mom." Tytus said. "I love you too, sweetie." Aquilis said,
The Next Day
Sakura stepped off the elevator into the base as the others saw her. "Hey, Sakura! How was your trip?" Lincoln asked. "It was fine, thanks for asking. Do me a favor, seal this for me." She said, tossing a soul core depicting an assassin bug to Lincoln, surprising the group.
