Learning of Abominations

Hello everyone and welcome back to The Owl House: The Bro Files. This is the time where we are introduced to Willow, Gus and Amity. Also where we get to see Hexside and Principal Bump.

Also, for those wondering who Carlos will be paired with in future chapters, you'll have to wait and see. *Wink*

With that out of the way, let's see what craziness ensues in this chapter, shall we?

We open up to a beach area, where we see Eda, King, Carlos and Luz looking at a giant slug-looking creature surrounded by trash. Eda and King were unphased by it, but Luz and Carlos looked disgusted by the sight.

"Well, kids. Did you ever in your lives think you'd see something as breathtaking as this?" Eda asked, referring to the slug creature.

"I don't like this." Luz said.

"Me neither." Carlos agreed.

"Yes, it doesn't get more inspiring than the trash slug. It makes a home, a life from what others have thrown by the wayside. Until blam, it gets blasted by a wave one day and croaks from all the salt. And then we get to sell the stuff it ate." Eda said, as she had approached the slug and stuck a hand in its mouth, as she pulled out a rubber chicken. She then pulled out a pickaxe.

"Please don't make me." Luz said, getting even more disgusted and backing away.

"Creo que voy a estar enfermo." Carlos said, turning a little green.

"Oh, come on, guys. It's not every day you get to go to the dump and pick apart a garbage carcass." King said, as he set down a towel with a design of a rubber duck on it. That statement made Carlos turn more green, as it was making him very nauseous.

"Eh, nuts to all of you." Eda said, as she took the pickaxe and swung it into the slug. That made Luz flinch and Carlos almost lose his breakfast.

"So, Eda. What if we tried some new lessons for this apprenticeship? Like reading ancient scrolls, or mixing potions, or..." Luz was about to continue, before being interrupted by Eda.

"Ugh! That sounds like a bunch of magic school stuff." She said.

"You know, I could go for school over this."Carlos managed to say while trying not to lose control over his stomach.

"Why would you want that? Schools here force you to use magic the 'proper' way. But magic isn't proper. It's wild and unpredictable. And that's why it's so beautiful. I didn't finish school and look at me." Eda said, as she stood confidentally with trash around her. "Who wouldn't envy where I am right now?"

"You're standing in trash." Carlos told her.

""Eh, what would you know? Here's a lesson for you. A great witch can be resourceful, like this." Eda said, as she took Luz's hand and stuck it in some slime. Luz then pulled out something covered in the slime. This was the final straw for Carlos, as he ran to the nearest bush and threw up in it.

"Oh, hey. Greasy slime ball." Lus said, pulling out a slime ball and not really greatful for that.

"Use your slime ball wisely, young witch. Back at it. We'll hit the stink nodes first." Eda said. Hearing that made Carlos throw up even more. He normally doesn't get sick seeing gross things in horor movies, but experiancing it first hand was another story.

"Actually, if it's okay, I think I'll head home with Carlos and make sure he's doing alright." Luz said, backing up. She then headed in Carlos' direction, but stopped to talk with King really quick. "Love you, King. You little beach peach." She said while scratching his belly, which he loved. She then grabbed Carlos and started heading back to the house.

"More for me, then." Eda called out to them, as she continued rummaging through the trash slug.

We are now walking along the trail with Carlos and Luz, as Luz was looking at what she pulled from the slime. Carlos was now glad to be away from Eda and her disgusting habits

"Ugh! If magic's all about digging for slime balls, maybe I don't have the stomach for it." Luz said.

"You and me both." Carlos agreed, as he was starting to feel better.

"You can do it! You can!" They heard a girl's voice cry out, as they wondered where that came from.

They went in the direction of the voice and peaked from behind the bushes. What they saw was a shorter-than-average, plus-sized and stocky girl who has light skin, pointed ears, olive green eyes, and short, neat, dark navy-blue hair with a few loose strands.

She wore a pair of round gold-framed glasses and a student uniform, consisting of a gray tunic and a dark gray cowl and belt with a gold pin, and gray-black short-heeled shoes. Her sleeves and tights were an orchid color. She also had a schoolbag with some books and a wooden wheelbarrow with a big, green jar in it.

"Hey, a witch girl that looks around our age." Carlos whispered.

"You can do it. Even if you get a bad grade, it's not a relection of you as a bad witch. And my parents are right. There are better opportunities on this track. Now, get to school!" The told herself. That's when she accidentally stepped on a flower.

"Oh, no! Oh, little friend! I'm sorry!" She said. She then created a green magical circle, as the plant came back to life.

Suddenly, another wooden wheelbarrow with a green jar on it had magically pushed in front of the girl and stopped. On top of the pot was a thin, pale-skinned witch, with bright golden eyes and pointed ears. Her hair is chin-length, with a ponytail pulling the front hair out of her face, and a mostly covered undercut visible at the temples. Her hair is also a two-toned, dyed aquamarine-green with brown hair, her natural hair color, visible at the roots.

She also wore the same uniform as the other girl, which the sleeves and tights were the same color. The only difference was her uniform had a gold star on the left pectoral area. She had been reading a book called 'Magic 101,' until she noticed the wheelbarrow had stopped and looked down at the other girl.

"Willow. Wow. You're so unnoticeable, I almost rolled into you." The girl with aquamarine-green hair said to the other girl, now known as Willow.

"Hi, Amity." Willow greeted the other girl, who we now know as Amity.

"Shouldn't you get to class early to prep your..." Amity was about to finish, before Willow's pot and wheelbarrow fell over, spilling out some purple-looking sludge with an eye floating in it. "Oh, Willow... You don't have anything to show, do you?"

"Man, what is with this girl? She doesn't have to bully the other girl." Carlos whispered, refering to Amity's attitude towards Willow.

"Witch drama." Luz whispered.

"*Sigh* This is why people call you 'Half-a-Witch Willow.'" Amity said, as Willow covered her head in her hood. That's when we hear a small rumbling coming from Amity's jar. "Oh, looks like someone wants to say something to you. Abomination, rise."

Amity had opened the lid to her jar, as she gave her command and a purple sludge creature with three eyes came half-way out of the jar.

"You're a star." The abomination said, as it drew a star with its own sludge on Willow's forehead.

"Aww, it's like mine." Amity said, refering to the star she had. "But much smaller, and meaningless. As top student, it's my duty to tell you to keep at it. Even you could get a passing grade someday. Abomination, cower." The abomination went back into the jar, as Amity closed the jar back up.

"See you in class, superstar." Amity said, as she took her wheelbarrow and left.

"She's a pleasure to be around." Carlos sarcastically whispered. Luz had stuck out her tongue at Amity while she was leaving.

"'Oh, see you in class, superstar.' I hate when she does that." Willow said, as she was immitating what Amity said while rubbing the sludge star off her forehead. "I hate making abominations. I hate getting bad grades. Ugh, I can't stand this anymore!"

The wind began blowing fast around Willow, as leaves began blowing in the wind. Suddenly, her eyes glowed green, as thorny vines started growing from the ground.

The Noceda's were surprised by what Willow was doing, as they didn't have enough time to dodge the vines that came for them and wrapped around their ankles, as they pulled them to Willow. The vines had put them on the ground behind Willow, as she turned around to look at them.

Back with Eda and King, we see that Eda had collected a bunch of orange, sphere-like eggs in a knapsack. She even seemed to have an impressed look on her face.

"Not a bad haul. That oviduct was loaded." She said.

"Ah. Lose a couple of apprentices, gain garbage eggs. Fair trade." King poked fun at her, which she scoffed at.

"I didn't lose anything." Eda said.

"If you don't teach Luz or Carlos right, you will. And that's when I come in, make them my apprentices." King told her.

"Ha! And what would you teach? How to get stuck in the arm of a sweater?" Eda asked, amused.

"Hey, that only happened once!" King exclaimed in annoyance. "I'd teach them about demons. How to identify them, talk to 'em, raise an army with them and tear apart the world!"

"After they tear you out of the sweater arm, right?" Eda joked.

"You think you're so smart! Well, why don't we make a little bet where I can prove that I'd make a better teacher." King said.

"Okay. I'm obligated to remind you that I only use out bets to utterly humiliate you. And that you've never won." Eda said, as she pulled out a book that said 'Eda + King one-sided waggers' and opened it up, showing that King never won a bet against Eda.

"I like those odds." King said.

"So how's this? Teach this Trashslug to be your loyal soldier in one day. Prove that you can be a better teacher than me, and the humans are all yours." Eda waggered, as she had picked up one of the eggs she noticed on the ground and held it in front of King. "But if you don't, I change your name from King to... Mr. Wiggles."

"Well, when you lose, you'll have to... wear a shame hat, and sleep in a shack, and never come into the Owl House again! Ha!" King said, accepting the offer.

"Deal!" Eda said, as she and King signed to start the wagger. Eda tossed the egg at King, which landed on his head, making it hatch into a baby trashslug.

Back with Luz and Carlos, they were being held down by the vines Willow had conjoured up. When she had noticed it, her eyes stopped glowing, as the vines had stopped in their place and she had a concerned look on her face.

"Oh, no, no, no, no, no! I'm so sorry!" Willow said, as she came over to them and removed the vines from their ankles.

"It's okay. The thorns only went through a few layers of skin." Luz joked. Willow then noticed the ears of Luz and Carlos and got closer to both of them.

"So circly." Willow said. That caused Luz to cover her ears with a yelp, as Willow gasped and Carlos sighed at that.

"Don't mind her, she's weird like that." Carlos told Willow.

"Your humans! This is astounding! Humans on the Boiling Isles!" Willow said giddily, as she then asked. "How'd you get here? What are you doing here?"

"That's a long story. You did some powerful magic with those plants there." Carlos told Willow.

"O-Oh, thanks. But I don't think it was that impressive." Willow said. That's when they heard a bell ringing in the distance. "I'm sorry. I can't stay. I have to go disappoint my teacher. It was nice to meet you, humans" She sadly said, as she started walking off.

"Wait! I'm Luz. And this is my brother, Carlos. You're Willow, right?" Luz asked while stopping Willow and introducing herself and Carlos. "Carlos was right. What you did with that flower and those plants was like, wow."

" Thanks, but I'm not evensupposed to be doing plant magic. My parents put me in the abomination track at school." Willow said with a sad face. This made Luz get all excited, as she rushed up to Willow.

"You go to a magic school near here?!" Luz excitedly asked. That's when Carlos held her back.

"Sorry about her. She gets excited about anything revolving magic." He said to Willow.

"It's fine. I go to a school called Hexside School of Magic and Demonics." Willow told the siblings.

"I wish I could go there, but I don't think our teacher wouldn't let us enroll." Luz said.

"She's right. I wish I could go too." Carlos said.

"I wish I could get a passing grade for once. Then people would stop calling me 'Half-a-Witch Willow.'" Willow said, as she kicked the slime pile that was her abomination.

"Hey, wait. I know a way we could get what we want. Make us your abominations." Luz said, as she picked up a couple hand fulls of the abomination slime. "We'll get you a good grade, and you can get us into magic school."

"Luz, I don't know if that's a good idea. Wouldn't we get caught?" Carlos asked.

"I saw that girl's thing. It's just chunks of stuff that talks weird. We're chunks of stuff, and I talk weird!" Luz told them.

"Understatement of the century." Carlos said under his breath.

"That's true." Willow said to Luz, as she giggled and agreed to the plan. "Okay. It's a deal. Luz." She then extended a hand for a handshake.

"This is a great plan." Luz said, accepting the handshake, only for her and Willow's hands to be stuck together because of the abomination goo.

"Oops. Abomination goo." Willow said, as she and Luz tried seperating their hands and succeeded, only for Luz to fall into the abomination goo.

"Hope this plan of yours works, Luz." Carlos said, as he then starts covering himself with goo too. The sibling then get into the pot, which was enough to hold both of them, as they head to Hexside.

We are now in front of Hexside, as Willow walks up to the building. Hexside is a huge building that actually looked really nice, as there were some vine in certain places, a few banners at the entrance and a window that had a logo that said the name of the schoool.

"Welcome to Hexside School of Magic and Demonics. Remember to stay hidden, okay?" willow asked, as she continued walking into the school. Luz was the most excited going into the school, as she was acting all giddy.

"I will try my best, but I doubt the same could be said for her." Carlos said, pointing to the giddy Luz.

Once inside the school, Willow had went to her locker to get a book. Though, what made these lockers different from human lockers was they had a single yellow eye and fanged mouths. Once Willow got her book, she felt someone bump into her.

"Hmm?" She turned to look and it was a dark-skinned boy that looked a couple years younger than Willow. He wore the same uniform as Willow, but the sleeves and tights were light-blue instead of orchid and he was reading a human tween magazine.

"Willow, you would not believe humans." The boy said, not taking his eyes off the magazine.

"Humans? Pfft. I haven't seen any. What?" Willow said, trying not to be conspicuous.

"Did you know that humans nail barbed wire to their kids' teeth?" The kid said, showing a picture of a girl with braces. "But why? Maybe to make the magnetic."

"Actually, it's for storing treats." Came the sound of Luz's voice from inside the jar.

""Luz!" Followed the voice of Carlos. This made the kid looked up from the book, as Willow had a bit of a worried look on her face.

"Okay, Augustus. I'm gonna tell you something. But you have to be cool." Willow said to the boy, now named Augustus.

"I can be spool. I mean, cool." Augustus said.

"Okay. Abominations, rise." Willow commanded, as both Luz and Carlos rose from the jar.

"Ta-da! I'm an abomination." Luz said.

"Luz, that's not how abominations act." Willow told her.

"Told you she could mess this up." Carlos piped in. He then looked to Augustus, as he saw that he was both surprised and shocked.

"No. No, it couldn't be." Augustus said, messing with his ears.

"He's the president of the Human Appreciation Society. Most witches wouldn't be able to recognize a human right away. But Augustus is an expert." Willow said.

"Where are your gills?" Augustus asked.

"I don't know where you heard that from, but human's don't have gills." Carlos told him.

"I knew an Augustus in the human world. We called him Gus." Luz told Augustus.

"Gus? Nickname? Human nickname? Gus? Call me it. Gus. This is the the best day of my life." Gus excitedly said.

"Okay, no need to faint on us, Gus." Carlos told him. That's when the school bell went off, as the bell looked close to a bell yousee in human schools, but it has a fanged mouth and a clawed arm with an eyeball attatched to it.

"I gotta get to speeling class. See you guys at lunch!" Gus said, as he left for class. Willow waved goodbye to him.

"Okay, back into the jar, guys." Willow said, as Luz and Carlos went into the jar. Luz had made a hissing noise as she went in.

Back with King and Eda, we see that they're back at the Owl House and King was trying to tame the baby trash slug by giving it a bone-shaped dog treat.

"Aw, who's a good Prince Jr.? Who's a good guy?" King asked.

"Hey, Mr Wiggles. You're not gonna teach it anything doing that." Eda said, as she was sitting in a chair while drinking a purple beverage that had an eyeball, a worm and a spider in it.

"It's called positive reinforcement, Eda. And it works wonders." King said, as the slug took the treat from his hand and it grew a bit. "Ha-ha! See? Now, watch this. Prince Jr.! Attack Eda! Knock over her drink! Mess up her hair!" He commanded, though the slug was more focused on the new treat King had.

"Oh, stop." Eda sarcastically said.

"Well, I haven't seen your students in forever. For all we know, they're probably not even loyal to you anymore." King said.

"Ha-ha-ha, you wish. But yeah. Where are they?" She asked.

Back at Hexside, we are now in the abomination classroom. This class was taught by a short, stubby humanoid creature with pointed ears, a round beak-like mouth, with two fangs on the top row of his teeth, and two claws on each foot. He has green, chin-length hair with a large bald spot on the top of his head. He has small slanted eyes, inward-facing green eyebrows and a small green beard, along with defined cheekbones.

The teacher was being carried around by his own abomination, which looked different from regular abominations, as this one was a reddish-purple color. This is Professor Hermonculus, as he was examining the abomination for his students.

The first abomination he looked at belonged to a dark-skinned girl with purple hair and horns, as her abomination had too many toes.

"Hmm. Too many toenails in unexpected places. Fail. Pathetic!" Hermonculus said, making the girl sad. "The biggest abominations are all of you! If the next abomination is a failure, everyone gets extra homework for a month!"

The sound of extra of extra homework for a month wasn't liked by everyone there. Hermonculus then cleared his throat.

"And the next one to come up is..." He was about to continue, until Amity raised her hand and interrupted him.

"Excuse me, sir, but I am ready to present my abomination. Rise!" She said in a proud voice, as her abomination came out of her jar. This got a good laugh out of Hermonculus.

"I've always saved the best for last, Amity. You'll have to wait your turn. How about... Willow?" He asked, looking to Willow. This made the rest of the class groan, as they somehow knew they were getting homework for a 's when Luz popped her head from the jar.

"Don't listen to them, Willow. We got this." She whispered to her new friend, giving her a thumbs up. This gave Willow the confidence to go up to the front, as Luz had put her head back in the jar before she went up there.

"Uh... abomination's rise." Willow said, as Luz punched the lid off the jar and both her and Carlos jump out of the jar, landing on their feet.

"Ta-da!" Luz said, as she couldn't help herself on that part.

This made Amity gasp, because what she saw with Willow before school started was that she couldn't make abomination's do anything and she somehow made two come out of the jar.

"Abomination's, bow." Willow commanded, as both Luz and Carlos took a bow.

"Very impressive. But do they speak?" Hermonculus asked.

"Uh, I may be your abomination, but you may be my a-mom-ination." Luz said, as that got some 'Aw's' from the class, except Amity. This also got a laugh out of Hermonculus.

"'A-mom-ination!' Splendid wordplay. A+!" He said, as he wrote A+ on Luz's forehead. "And I'm giving you extra credit for not only making one abomination, but two of them! Simply astounding, Willow."

'Man, I can't believe this plan actually worked.' Carlos thought.

After that, the bell rang and class was dismissed. Willow was on her way out, as Luz and Carlos were back in the jar. Professor Hermonculus stopped Willow on her way out.

"Wonderful work today, Willow. Looks like we have a new top student." Hermonculus said. Amity was exiting behind him and stopped at what he said. He then noticed Amity behind him, as she took the gold star off her and went to give it to Willow.

"Uh... but..." Amity tried saying, but she couldn't stop her teacher from doing anything.

"Uh, thank you, sir." Willow thanked, as Professor Hermonculous left.

"Hey." Amity said, as she appeared next to Willow, which made her gasp. "Last time I saw you, your abomination was mush. Now you have two. What did you do?"

"I, uh, took your pep talk to heart, Amity." Willow said, nervously.

"I'm sure you did. I've got my eye on you, Half-a-Witch. That badge is mine." Amity said, backing up and not looking where she was going, as she bumped into a pig-demon kid and turned a corner.

"Uh-oh. I think Amity is on to us." Willow said.

We switch back to the Owl House, as Eda opened the door from the inside, slamming Hooty's face against the wall.

"Have you seen the kids?" She asked the owl-like demon.

"I heard their tiny mouse feet walking close by. Or that might've been some mice. Anyway, someone started moving in that direction." Hooty said, as he was trying to make a pointing gesture while hooting.

"Are you trying to point, or..." Eda was about to ask, until Hooty interrupted.

"Look at the weather vane!" He shouted, making Eda look up at the weather vane on the roof, as it was pointing in a certain direction.

"But the only thing that way is the... no." Eda gasped, as she started running in the direction of Hexside. She kept on repeating 'No' over and over again until she got to the school. Once at the school, she looked in one of the window's and saw Kindergardener's reciting ruins.

"No. Blind obedience." She said, as she went to the next window to see older kids working in a class. "No! Pointless busywork!" She then went to another window to see Luz and Carlos working with Willow.

"No! Why? School!" She said in defeat.

We now go to the lunchroom of Hexside, where Luz and Carlos were having lunch with Willow and Gus.

"Hey, do human's eat PB&J's?" Gus asked the siblings.

"Oh, my gosh. I haven't eaten real food in so long. Please give me some." Luz said, as if she were starving.

"Me too." Carlos said, as Gus split the sandwich in two and gave the halves to the siblings, who greatfully took them and went back into the pot.

"I don't know, Gus. If Amity saw that..." Suddenly, Amity appeared, interrupting Willow.

"I saw that! Abominations don't eat!" Amity said, as she then looked into the pot Willow had. "I know you're in there! You can't hide from me. What are you? Who are you? I want answers!" She had pulled the abomination-covered Luz out and started shaking her.

The whole lunchroom was looking at Amity like she was crazy, as they didn't know Luz and Carlos weren't Willow's abominations. That's whe Professor Hermonculus saw what Amity was doing.

"Amity Blight." He scolded.

"Huh?" Amity asked, looking to him in confusion.

"I suspected a twinge of jealousy, but this, this is just sad." Hermonculus said.

"But, I... No! Look at it." Amity said, still holding a groaning Luz in her hands.

"Report to Principal Bump's office." Hermonculus told her.

"But..."

"Now!" He yelled before she could continue her explination. Amity then ran to the principal's office in defeat, as he followed her. That's when Carlos and Luz popped their heads out of the jar.

"Man, that girl doesn't know how to calm down." Carlos said.

Back at the Owl House, we see King still trying to 'train' the slug, which seems to have grown a lot since earlier.

"Roll over! Yes! Heel! Yes, yes" He said, as he kept giving it more and more treats. That's when Eda came in, looking defeated and dejected. "So, did you find your missing students? Judging by your expression, Luz and Carlos had gone and found somewhere else to learn. Which means, I have won!" He told her.

"Yes, great, you won. You have a giant soldier thing and I have nothing. Congrats!" Eda sourly said.

"Oh, Eda, don't say that. At least you have this!" King said, as he pulled out a hat that said 'Shame' on it while laughing. This made Eda groan, as she grabbed the hat and went towards the shack next to the Owl House. This made King laugh even harder.

"I am so funny! Ah. Well, Prince Jr. training complete. Go forth! Make the world tremble at your feet... or worm stubs." King said, as the worm looked down at him.

"Go forth?" He asked, confused on why the worm was still there looking at him. He then remembered the treats. "Oh, right." He said, as he grabbed the box of treats from the ground, but they were empty. This made the worm growl, as King then whimpered.

Back at Hexside, we're now in an empty classroom with Willow, Gus, Luz and Carlos. Luz and Carlos then come out of the abomination pot.

"Woo. I'm a sweaty little abomination." Luz said.

"Yeah, I'm gonna need a shower after all this." Carlos added.

"Now we don't have to worry about Amity. High five!" Luz said, offering her hand for a high five from either Gus or Willow, as they were confused on what high five's were.

"Wait, do you guys not know what high five's are?" Carlos asked, as Willow and Gus shook their heads 'no.' "Well, you just slap her hand, like so." He showed how to do a high five for them. Gus then cautious followed the example, as he did what Carlos did. He then automatically liked high fives, as he couldn't stop high fiving luz's hand.

"Oh. Oh, my. What a rush!" Gus said.

"Wow, you're very impressionable, aren't you?" Carlos asked, now seeing Gus like a little brother type of person.

Suddenly, the door to the classroom opened up, as Amity came in followed by a middle-aged to elderly man. He has light beige skin, a traditional academic dress consisting of a long black gown with a gold yoke along with a black cape, gold trim at the sleeves and a blue stole. He was wearing a red imp-like creature over his upper head for some reason.

"Good afternoon, students." The man said.

"Principal Bump." Willow said, as Luz and Carlos went back to pretending to be abominations. Principal Bump then came over and examined the 'abominations.'

"Hmm. Abominations, rise." Bump said, as Luz and Carlos pretended to follow orders like abominations. "Abomination, lie." He said, looking specifically at Carlos.

"Uh... Viral fame is a worthy persuit. Your cat would never eat you if it had the chance. Chemtrails are real..."

"Oh, no, abomination. How strange for it to get the command wrong. I mean lie down." Bump interrupted, pointing at a table for Carlos to lay down. Carlos gulped, as he did as instructed and lays down on the table.

'I knew this plan would fail by the end.' Carlos thought in his head.

"So very lifelike. When Miss Blight told me about your abominations, I had to come by, see what they're made of." Bump said to Willow, though the last part sounded pretty sinester.

"Oh. I have a list of their ingredients right here." Willow said, as she reached for an ingredient list.

"No. We were hoping for a closer look." Bump said, as he took out a jagged dagger from his sleeve. "Willow, I'll allow you the first cut." He handed her the dagger. She accepted it with a nervous smile, as she got closer to Carlos.

"Uh, you can't just cut open a human, can you?" She asked him in a hushed voice, to which he shook his head 'no.'

"Willow, go ahead and make the first incision." Bump said, as he placed a hand on her shoulder and pointed to the torso of Carlos.

"Wait, Principal Bump!" Gus called out, to which Bump turned to look at him. "Uh... High five!" He then slapped one of the three abomination pots, as then all three of them fell over and knocked out abomination goo on the floor and the abominations go towards Bump.

"Run!" Gus told Willow, Carlos and Luz, as they all run out the door.

"They're getting away!" Amity yelled.

"No, the intruders won't get far." Bump said, as he walked towards a wall and made a magic circle. He pressed both hands on the circle, as a bunch of red lines and ruins came from it.

With Willow, Luz and Carlos, they were running through the halls. They had to stop for a second to catch their breaths.

"This is all my fault." Luz said.

"I knew this plan wouldn't entirely work." Carlos told her.

"How was I supposed to know you'd be disected?" Luz asked.

"Guys, we need to get out before..." Before Willow could finish, the red lines and ruins shot through the hallways and blocked any escape routes with barriers. "Bump seals us in."

Meanwhile, back at the Owl House. We see Eda sitting in the shed while wearing the shame hat. Suddenly, King then called out for help from outside.

"Help me, help me, help me!" He said, as he ran into the shed and closed the door behind him. He then went to cower in Eda's arms. Big bangs could be heard coming from the door, as the slug was wanting to come in.

"Trouble with your student?" Eda asked in a 'I told you so' kind of voice.

"Yes, yes!" King said.

"You sure you want my help? Maybe he only wants more of your brilliant lessons." Eda said, as she was now mocking him at this point. That's when the slug then broke down the door. It roared, as he then grabbed King by his tail and was pulling him out of the shed

"Please help me! You can call me Mr. Wiggles!" King said, as he admitted to losing the bet they made.

That made Eda stand and take the shame hat off, as she grabbed her staff. She then poked the slug in the face, as it let go fo King and he hid behind Eda.

"Okay, Mr. Wiggles. Here's what we're gonna do." Eda said, as she had a plan.

We cut back to Hexside where Luz, Carlos and Willow were running for their lives. They tried turning down a hallway, only for them to get blocked by a barrier. Suddenly, Bump caught up to them with four abominations at his command, as they were after the three three ran another way, as they hid behind a pillar.

"Oh, this is awful. I don't know what to do." Willow said, as it seemed like she was going to panic. "Amity's right. I'm just Half-a Witch Willow."

"You're Full-Witch Willow. And you're brave. And someone once told me great witches are resourceful." Luz said, as she reached into her pocket and pulled out a piece of string, a marble, a quarter, a piece of lint, a band-aid and the thing she pulled from the slime earlier that day.

Carlos took a good look at it and it looked like a seed. He then remembered that Willow was really good with plant magic.

"Wait a minute! Willow, can you use this to save us?" Carlos asked, as he took the seed from Luz's hand and handed it to Willow.

"That's it!" Willow exclaimed, as she took the seed from Carlos.

"You mean that greasy slime ball?" Luz asked, confused.

"No, that's a seed, Luz. Willow can use it to save us." Carlos told her.

"Thank goodness Luz had it on her." Willow said.

"Yeah. Thank goodness someone told me to hold onto it." Luz said.

Willow put the seed on her lap, as she created a small, green magic circle. "Please, grow!" She said, as the seed grew into a bunch of thorny vines that covered the area they were in. They even took out the abominations and grabbed Principal Bump, as they sent him up to the ceiling. Once he opened his eyes, he let out a gasp.

"Remarkable." He said in surprise. The barriers that were up then came down, as Luz saw the exit.

"There's the exit!" She said, as she, Willow and Carlos start heading towards it, only to be stopped by Amity.

"Not so fast!" She exclaimed. "I'm not letting you get away so easily. I. Want. My. Badge! Abominations, sieze!" She commanded, as an abomination was coming for them.

Carlos punched the abomination, as it fell to pieces. He grabbed both Luz and Willow's arms and started running towards the exit. Amity reanimated the abomination, as she commanded it to follow. As the three were getting closer to the exit, an abomination got in their way. Willow then made a big magic circle and her eyes startede glowing like before, as the vines blocked the abomination from getting them.

"Get outta here!" Willow exclaimed, while holding back the abomination.

""No! I'm not leaving you." Luz said, not wanting to leave Willow behind.

"Luz, we need to leave. Willow can handle herself. We need to believe in her." Carlos told her.

"But..." She was about to continue, but was interrupted by Willow.

"I may get detention, but you'll get dissected. You need to leave." She said, trying her best to keep the abominations back.

Carlos grabbed Luz's arm, as he pulled her passed the abomination being held back in front of them. They went through, as they made it through the exit.

"Willow!" Luz exclaimed.

"Look, she's better there than with us." Carlos said, as they ran down the stairs as the doors closed behind them. They then kept running to the Owl House.

Speaking of. Back at the Owl House, Eda was fighting off the slug, as it was trying to spit molten slime at her and she was doding it. King was trying to get a barrel of salt on the roof while she distracted the slug.

"Pour the salt, now!" Eda yelled up to King.

"Baby boy!" King said, as the slug looked up at him with puppy-eyes before roaring at him. "I have no son! Eat salt!" He said, as he pushed the barrel into the slugs mouth, as it shrank down to the size it was when it hatched. It then scampered away.

"Yes, I did it! I'm amazing ! Whoa!" King was celebrating, before he slipped on the roof and fell into Eda's arms. "You helped too. You are a good teacher."

"I wish the kids thought that too." Eda said.

"Eda!" Came the shouts of both Luz and Carlos, as they got close to the Owl House. Luz had given Eda a hug, while Carlos tried catching his breath.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey! What's this? Ugh! I never understand when you do this." Eda said, as she wasn't too fond of the hugs.

"Your lesson worked! Keeping junk in my pocket saved our lives! But wait. Our new friends. They're in danger." Luz said, panicking.

"I told you they could handle themselves." Carlos said to her. That's when they heard the voice of Willow.

"Luz! Carlos!" She yelled, as she and Gus came running up and hugged their new friends.

"Seriously, what... What is that?" Eda asked.

"Have you seriously never heard of hugging?" Carlos asked, as the hugs stopped.

"You guys won't believe it. Everything is perfect now!" Willow excitedly said.

"It's true. I don't believe it." Luz said.

"Principal Bump was was so impressed by my plant work, that he's switching me to the plant magic track! Look." Willow said, as she snapped her fingers and she glowed green around her uniform. Her sleeves and leggings went from orchid to green.

Yes!" Lus excitedly said, as she celebrated with Willow.

"Congrats, Willow. This must be pretty exciting for you." Carlos congratulating Willow.

"Thanks. It does." Willow said with a small blush.

"Wait, what about Amity?" Luz asked.

"Last we saw, she was asking Bump if today could count as extra credit." Gus said.

"Man, she must be one of those over-achievers." Carlos said.

"You have no idea." Willow said.

"I can't wait to see you in action next time I sneak in." Luz said.

"You're on your own for that one." Carlos told her.

"Uh... About that. You both are kinda, sorta... Banned." Gus said, as he pulled out two posters and unrolled them. One had a picture of Luz, while the other had Carlos. Luz's photo looked very similar to that of a certain rubber bound pirate.

"That's my kids!" Eda proudly called, excited that Luz and Carlos had banned posters.

"But we could come here and teach you what we learned." Willow offered, putting a hand on Luz's shoulder.

"Aw! That would be nice. But we have a pretty great teacher already." Luz said, looking to Eda.

"Yeah, that's right. Luz and Carlos are my students. Back off academy twerps." Eda said, snatching the banned posters from Gus. Everyone had gotten a good laugh from that.

"Oh! Baby's first wanted poster. Good job, kids. Looks like I taught you both something after all." Eda said, patting Carlos and Luz on the heads.

"Don't get too sentimental on us now, Eda." Carlos joked.

"Uh... You high five with your hands, not your heads." Gus said, interrupting the warm-hearted moment.

There we are, chapter three of the story done. This one was a bit longer than the other two, as it does have Carlos as part of the sneaking in. I was debating with myself weather or not I should've kept Eda and King's bet or not, but realized it was kinda part of the story, in a way.

Also, don't mistake Willow's blush towards the end for having a crush on Carlos. Those two will just be friends. Beside, I already planned ahead for who Carlos will be dating down the line, so you will have to wait and see who it is.

Anyways, hope you all enjoyed the chapter and can't wait for the next one. See ya!
