An Unexpected Visitor

Hello everyone, and welcome back to The Owl House: The Bro Files. I know the title isn't the best, but for those that are fans of the Owl House, you know what this would be. Let's see how Carlos and Luz will handle the a very feathery situation. Let's begin.

We're at the Owl House, as there were storm clouds overhead. We head inside to find Luz recording King on her phone, as he was trying to get a sock with logos of ducks off of his muzzle.

"And here we have the most fearsome creature in the world, the King of Demons, facing his natural enemy, the ducky sock." Luz said, as if she were doing a documentory on her phone. King then tore up the duck sock.

"Where are you now ducky sock?!" He yelled.

"Why did you call us here again?" Carlos asked. King had called him and Luz here for something important.

"Oh, yeah." King remembered, as he jumped onto a chest with something covered by a red sheet. "Humans Luz and Carlos, you've been so obsessed with witchcraft, mostly for Luz, that you both haven't learned anything about my kind. Prepare yourselves for Demons 101." King had pulled the red sheet off a pin-up board with various demons on it.

Carlos then noticed that one of the demons looked exactly like a giraffe, but he decided to save his questions for when King was done.

"Demons like me are grim tricksters of the twilight, creatures of sulfur and bone." King said.

"And cute little paws." Luz added.

"And cute little paws. True." King repeated with a sigh. "We only live to create chaos and misery. Our only weaknesses are purified water and passive-aggresive comments. Sometimes."

"Oh, you guys are sensitive." Luz said.

"Even demons have inner demons. The most powerful demon of all is the Snaggleback." King said, as he tore away one picture to reveal one behind it.

On the picture was a skinny, pink creature-like demon that had a big, grayish-brown spiky shell on its back. There was also some gunk coming out of the creature's shell. The creature also appeared to have sharp claws on its hands and feet, along with sharp teeth.

"He is a..."

"Bad boy." Luz interrupted, as she put 'fierce' on her phone as it was pointed at the Snaggleback.

"I bet it doesn't really look like that." Carlos remarked.

"Quiet, you! And Luz, pay attention. This information could save your life someday." King said.

"No, no. I am so paying attention. This is my paying attention face. Mmm-hmm. Mmm-hmm. Mmm-hmm." Luz said, as she made a face like she was paying attention. That's when thunder crashed outside.

"Uh-oh, looks like it's gonna rain." King said.

"I love the rain." Luz gasped, as she started running towards the door. Carlos starts walking to the door too.

"Hey, wait." King said, trying to stop them. It was too late, as Luz opened the door.

"Ah. I always love feeling the first few drops in my hair. I bet you do too, little buddy." Luz said, as she walked outside and kneeled down to talk with a flower. Suddenly, a drop of rain came down onto the flower, as it starts to die with steam coming off it."What?" She asked, seeing what happened to the flower.

"Boiling rain. Everybody inside now." Eda yelled while running. She grabbed Luz and went crashing into the house with her.

"Just when I think this place can't get any weirder, it does." Carlos commented.

"Whew. That was close. But the important thing is you didn't get hurt." Eda said to Luz, who had crashed into King's demon lesson.

"Yep. Not hurt." Luz groaned, as a coffee mug fell on her head.

Meanwhile, we see people in Bonesborough who were outside were trying to get inside for cover. We also see Willow trying to bring in her plants.

King had put a band-aid in Luz's arm, as he also put one on his nose. "Look, we're boo-boo buddies." He said, making Luz gush over his cuteness.

"Oh, my gosh. I love you so much." She said.

"Who knew rain here could be so deadly." Carlos said.

"Yeah. A boiling rainstorm on the Boiling Isles. The weather here is so fun." Luz excitedly said.

"Yeah, we don't have weather." Eda said, as she had a magical shield over her head, protecting her from the boiling rain. "We have plagues, gorenados, shale hail, painbows." She named some of the things that happened as 'weather' on the Boiling Isles.

"It's like a rainbow but looking at it turns you inside out." King said, which made Luz hide in her hood.

"I would not want to experience those." Carlos said.

"So, until the boiling rain stops, no one is allowed outside tonight." Eda said.

"And if the rain doesn't get you, the Snaggleback will. They wander the rains, feeding on boiled tourists." King said, as he opened his book to the Snaggleback page.

"I'm so scared." Carlos said, as he rolled his eyes.

"Well, whatever the case, this force field spell should protect the house from boiling rains and made-up demons." Eda said, making the force field and making fun of King at the end.

"Hoot. Well, hurry it up with that force field. That rain is getting closer to my presious stucco." Hooty said.

"Yeah, yeah, I got it." Eda said, as she cast the force field spell over the house. It then took the shape of the house.

"Wow! Someday I'd like to be as cool as Eda the Owl Lady. Magical, sassy, surprisingly foxy for her age." Luz said in awe, as Eda came closer to the house. She then asked. "Hey, why do they call you the Owl Lady, anyway?"

"Yeah, I was wondering that, too. Is it because of Hooty on your door? Or is it because of your Palisman?" Carlos asked, wondering the same thing as Luz.

"'Cause I'm so wise." Eda told them.

"'Cause she coughs up rat bones." Hooty piped in.

"I think it's 'cause she gets distracted by shiny objects." Kind finished.

"No I don't" Eda said, looking to King. This caused King to pull out a pen with a fake gem on it. He pressed a button, as a light glowed on it and Eda's eyes diolatedfrom being distracted from how shiny it was.

"It sparkles and shimmers. It shines and delights. I must have it for my nest." Eda said, as she tries going for it but King makes sure to swipe it out of sight before Eda could get it, causing her to crash to the ground.

"You have a nest?" Both Luz and Carlos asked, though Luz's question was more of intrigue and Carlos' was more out of confusion.

"I want a nest. Nest party." Luz excitedly said, heading over to Eda. She helped Eda off the ground.

"You aren't getting a nest, Luz. You aren't a bird." Carlos told her.

"Ugh, that force field really took it out of me." Eda said, as she was starting to look a little weary.

"Uh-oh, moving a little slow. Age finally catching up to you?" King jokingly asked, as Eda pulled the hat he was wearing over his head. "Ahh! Darkness." This made Carlos laugh, as he kinda deserved that. They then went into the house, so they wouldn't have to stay outside for much longer.

"This is perfect. Since we'll be stuck in the house all night, Eda won't have any excuse not to teach us any spells." Luz said to Carlos, as King pulled the hat from his face.

"Let's just hope she stays awake to teach us a spell." Carlos said.

"But don't you wanna finish our lesson? I was gonna let Luz scratch a demon's tummy. Me." King said, looking a little saddened.

"Oh, uh, sorry, King. But magic..." Luz apologized, before running off.

"Sorry, dude. You know how she gets around magic. Maybe we can continue another time." Carlos said, as he kneeled down and started scratching under his chin before leaving too.

We then go to Eda, who goes behind a changing station and changes out of her dailywear to her nightwear. She then let out a yawn, as she starts relaxing on the couch. That is, until a shadow went over her face. She opened her eyes and was startled by Luz looking down at her.

"Oh, Eda, have I told you how rad your fang looks today?" Luz asked, trying to sweeten up Eda to teach magic.

"Whatever it is, no." Eda bluntenly said.

"Uh, and your hair is like... Girl." Luz kept trying, but it wasn't really working.

"I'm not teaching you magic tonight. I'm sleepy. I'm a sleepy little owl." Eda said, as she pulled the blanket that was on the back of the couch onto her.

"You and I both know she won't stop." Carlos told Eda.

"Please, Eda, please. How am I supposed to earn my witch's staff if I don't know any spells?" Luz asked.

"She's right. How are we supposed to get a staff if you don't teach us magic." Carlos said. Even though Carlos wasn't into magic like his sister, even he knew Luz had a point.

"No. Sleep." Eda stubbornly said, as she pulled the blanket over her head. That's when she heard the clicking of the pen with the sparkling fake jewel and gasped. "Sparkle thing." That's when she looked out from her blanked to see Luz had the item of interest and was clicking it on and off. Luz then pretended to notice Eda was looking.

"Oh! This?" Luz coyly asked.

"Ooh!" Eda said, as she jumped out of the blanket and onto the arm of the couch. Luz made Eda follow where she was waving the object. But as Eda was ready to grab it, Luz pulled it away, making Eda fall to the floor.

"Nope! Teach us one spell and I'll give you your sparkle thing." Luz negotiated.

"I respect your cunning, but I also hate you for it." Eda said in defeat. She got up and grabbed her staff, as she stood in front of the siblings. "If you want a witch's staff like mine, don't make me repeat myself." She was starting to say, but was nodding off towards the end before waking herself back up.

"Witches' staffs have power embedded into them." Eda started excplaining.

"Gimme." Luz said, wanting the staff.

"Focus, Luz." Carlos told her.

"But before one is earned, every witch needs to know how to cast spells on their own. Now..." Before Eda continued, she threw her staff and it clatters on the ground. "Tonight I will show you how to create light." Eda then made a magic circle, which turned into a small ball of light.

"Yawn. Who needs another boring spell lesson when you could be learning all the fun ways a demon could kill you?" King asked, as he held up a picture he drew. "Look how teethy. Bite, bite."

"Be quiet. I need to focus." Luz told him. This made King feel left out.

"Now, humans think magic is made out of thin air, but that's stupid. Everything comes from something. Let me ask you, kids. Where do you think magic comes from?" Eda asked.

"Hmm... From the heart?" Luz asked, hoping to be right.

"There's no way that's true." Carlos said, thinking that was a stupid answer.

"Actually, she's right." Eda said, making Luz happy and Carlos dumbfounded.

"What?" Carlos asked in disbelief.

"No, really. It comes froma sac of magic bile attached to a witch's heart." Eda said, as she pulled a parchment of paper out from her hair. She unrolled it and it showed a heart with a green bile sac that was attached to it.

"Oh, gross. Can I keep that?" Luz asked, making Carlos cringe in disgust.

"No." Eda said, as she rolled the parchment back up and put it back in her hair. "Now, everything depends on the spell circle. The bigger the circle, the more poerful the spell." She said, as she made a bigger circle and a bigger ball of light came from it.

"How can we do magic if we don't have that magic bile thing on our hearts?" Carlos asked.

"You know, I'm not actually sure." Eda said, not knowing the answer to that.

"What?" Both siblings asked.

"I know witches did magic differently in the past, but I never bothered to figure out how." Eda said with a snorted laugh.

"Eda." Luz complained, as she was the most downhearted by that fact.

"Don't worry. You'll figure it out." Eda said, as she ruffled Luz's hair. "Now, oh... I need to lie down." She said, cracking her back and headed back to the couch.

"That's it? Wait. I need to see you do the circle thingy again. I will record it on my phone this time." Luz said, pulling out her phone and turning on the camera app on it. "Smile. You're on camera. Once more spell won't kill you."

"Fine." Eda groaned, as she started making the spell circle again. "Now, you see, the spell circle... Oh, boy." She yawned, as she then fell back unconscious.

"Well, looks like one more spell killed Eda." King joked, causing Luz to yell out in panic.

"Oh, my gosh. My obsession with spells knocked out Eda. I'm a monster." Luz said, panicking.

"Calm down, Luz. She's just probably exhausted from all the magic she used today. She just needs some rest." Carlos reassured her. King then came up to Eda and bopped her on the face.

"Bap! Yup, she's out. Bap! Just making sure." He said, as he was having fun with it.

"We should get help, right?" Luz asked.

"Don't worry, I'll carry her up." Carlos said. He picked Eda up bridal style and headed to the stairs, as Luz and King followed him.

They went up the stairs and when they got to Eda's room, Luz opened the door. Once they did, they actually saw a nest in her room as a makeshift bed. Carlos carried Eda over to the nest and put her in it.

"I can't believe she actually has a nest in her room." Carlos said, out of breath.

"Sorry I pushed you too hard, Ms. Eda. Please don't hurt me when you wake up." Luz said.

"Should I bap her again?" King asked.

"Just let her rest, you little goober." Luz said, petting King's head.

"Let's head downstairs so she can sleep." Carlos said, referring to Eda. Luz and Carlos had left, as King noticed a bottle of yellowish-orange potion on the nightstand next to Eda's nest. He then bapped her nose once more, then left.

Back downstairs, Carlos had plopped himself down on the couch, while King went back to his demon book and Luz kept watching the video of Eda casting the spell circle. Luz tried casting the spell circle herself, but was getting frustrated with it.

"Ugh! This is all she does. Why do you have to be so cryptic, Owl Lady?" She asked, as she made another attempt at a spell circle. She then played the video again.

"You know, without that bile sac she mentioned, we can't do magic like her." Carlos said.

"I know. There has to be some way we can do magic." Luz said, not giving up. That's when King put his notepad on her phone screen.

"Hey, you wanna know what's really cryptish? Let me tell you about the most spine-chilling demon. Smoochie Pie the Sweetie Baby." King said, showing Luz a drawing he did of a fish with hands. "He's... Well, he's a lot more threatening than his name implies."

"I'm sure he is." Carlos said, unimpressed by King's demon.

"Not now, King. I want to figure out this spell." Luz said, still trying to watch the video. She then added. "But if I don't have a magic sac, then what's the point? I'll just be twirling my fingers around unmagically forever."

"There should be some way for us to use magic here." Carlos said.

"Why do you guys want to learn magic so badly?" King asked.

"For me, I just want something to do in this place." Carlos told him.

"I was a nobody back home. But becoming a witch is my chance to be someone. Do you know what it's like to have no one take you seriously?" Luz asked King. This made Carlos realize something.

'Is this... Is this how she truly feels back home?' He asked himself in his mind. 'Now I feel like such a jerk.'

"If I help you learn that spell, could we finish our lesson?" King asked with a sigh.

"Oh, yes, yes. You can teach us about demons all week if you help us learn this spell." Luz said, happy to learn King is helping them.

"Why do you want to help all of a sudden?" Carlos asked.

"Because I know what it feels like not being taken seriously." King replied.

"Oh, alright. And Luz." Carlos said, as Luz looked to him. "I'm sorry for doubting every decision you made. It was wrong for me to do that. I'll try to be more supportive of your decisions from now on."

"Thanks, Carlos. I really like the sound of that." Luz said, as the two then hugged it out. Once they were done, they looked to King. "Okay, King. How will you help with the spell?"

"Well, Eda said witches used to do magic differently, so there has to be a way, right? And I have a theory." He said, showing them a drawing of a bottle with Eda and the word magic. "Every day I notice Eda sneaking drinks of this special elixir. See? Then she always gets a boost of energy. See? I think that's where she gets her powers. And I know where to get some."

"Really?" Luz asked.

"Si." King said in Spanish.

"Thank you so much. You're a prince." Luz said, as she hugged King while twirling around.

"King. I'm King." King said.

"Right." Luz corrected.

King then went back up to Eda's room, where she was still sleeping. He was looking around for the special elixir she drank.

"Now where could it be?" He asked himself. He looked until he saw an elixir from before. He walked forward, as he then noticed he stepped on the trigger of a bear trap and quickly moved his leg before it was caught. "Ha! Nice try." Turns out the bear trap was alive, as an eye opened up.

"Nah, my heart wasn't in it." It said, as it then walked off. King then continued to the elixir and read the tag on it.

"'An elixir a day.' Cryptic." He said, as he took the tag off the elixir and put it in the collar around his neck and then took the elixir and went down the stairs. "Got it!" He exclaimed, as he entered to where Luz and Carlos were.

"Wow. I can't believe I'm about to learn magic. Real magic. This is historic." Luz said, as she brought the bottle to her lips. She was about to take a drink, until thunder outside caused her to jump and drop the bottle on the ground, breaking it. "Golden elixir gone. This is aweful."

"You're telling me. Once Eda finds out about this, we're dead." Carlos said, panicking. That's when King tried looking on the bright side.

"Who even needs a light spell when we have tons of lamps?" He asked, just as all the lamps went out. That's when the siblings looked at him. "Hooty controls the house lights. He probably just fell asleep." That's when the front door came crashing down, followed by Hooty's panicked hoots.

"Hooty!" Luz said, as she, Carlos and King went to chek on him. Once they got to the living room, they saw that the room was a mess, windows were broken and Hooty was knocked over with the whole door. What was worse was there was a huge creature looming over Hooty. The creature let out a growl, as it then left.

"Hooty, are you in there?" Carlos asked, making sure the owl-door was okay.

"Whatever did this escaped into the rain. What could survive that?" Luz asked.

"Oh, my gosh. The Snaggleback. It feeds during the rains. It must have stumbled across our house and seen us inside." King siad, as monstrous howls could be heard, followed by a crash from an upstairs window.

"Okay, I'm starting to believe you on that whole Snaggleback thing." Carlos said, getting really worried.

"This is terrifying. So why do you look so happy?" Luz asked, looking to King, who whooped in excitement.

"Because this could be a lesson. This would be a great way for both of you to see a wild demon up close and personal." King said.

"You want to go towards those creepy sounds? No way." Luz said.

"I agree with Luz on this one." Carlos commented. This made King think of something.

"What if Eda gets eaten? She's upstairs and defenseless because Luz knocked her out." King said, which made Luz and Carlos groan in defeat.

"Fine, we'll go save Eda. But only because we need her as a teacher." Carlos said.

They got themselves prepared to defend themselves, as Carlos and Luz used the flashlights on their phones to see where they're going. They went upstairs and down a hallway, as a door to Eda's room creeked open. They entered her room to not only find the window broken open, but Eda was missing.

"Oh, my gosh. Eda" Luz gasped.

"She got snaggle-backed." King said. Carlos went over to the nest-like bed and grabbed the pillow, which had slash marks.

"Yeah, there are slash marks on her pillow." He told them.

"King, you're the demon expert. I need your help." Luz said, as she went next to Carlos.

"Let's go get my demon book." King told her. He left the room. When he came back, they were gone. "Luz? Carlos? The Snaggleback got them!" That's when the creature ran behind him.

"You craven beast. Give me back my boo-boo budy and her brother." He said. He followed the creature to a door, which had Luz's shoe in front of it. "Luz." He picked up her shoe.

King then entered the door into a closet and looked around. He then looked back, as he saw a silhouette of something behind some coats. "There's nowhere left for you to run." King said, as he moved the coats. What was hiding behind there was the Snaggleback, though it looked nothing like its drawing.

The Snaggleback looked like a pink monkey with with a grayish-blue spikey shell on its back. In fact, the Snaggleback was cowering and looked about the same size as King.

"Snaggleback? Wow! You're a lot shorter in person." King said, taken aback by the Snaggleback's appearance.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I just needed a place to hide from the rains." The Snaggleback said.

"Then why did you break down our door and take Luz and Carlos?" King asked. "That's not cool, man. Bad Snaggeback."

"I didn't do any of that stuff. I snuck in through a window just now." Snaggleback said.

"Huh? Well, then what..." Before King could finish, he was interrupted by a crash in the ceiling, followed by a creature grabbing the Snaggleback and taking him through the hole it made.

"Oh, no. A twist!" Snaggleback said, as he was being taken away.

King sould then hear the beat walking across the floor above, until it was on the other side of the door. The door opened up to reveal the silhouette of the creature, its eyes were glowing in the dark, as its fangs were bared. It then spit out the shell of the Snaggleback. King was whimpering in fear fromseing the beast.

"Oh, my." King said, as the beast gave a roar. The bwast crept closer to King, as he backed away. "Stay back. Hey,hey. I'm the King of Demons, okay? And as such, I demand you to barf my friends back up."

The creature roared and got ready to attack King, but he managed to dodge its attack and run away. The creature followed him, but it narrowly fit in the hallways, so it couldn't go as fast as it wanted. King kept running until a hand grabbed him and pulled him into a room. The creature then went past, looking for King. Once the creature was gone, King looked up to see who saved him, only to see Luz and Carlos.

"Luz? Carlos?" He asked.

"King." They both said, as Luz set him down.

"I'm so glad your safe." Luz said.

"Were did you two go?" King asked again.

"We were checking on Eda, and she was gone, and you were gone." Carlos said.

"I also tripped and lost my shoe. Oh, hey, you found it for me." Luz added, as she took the shoe from King and put it on her left foot. Before she did, though, King took something that was on her foot.

"What's this?" He asked, then read. "'Keeps the curse at bay.'" He gasped, as he took the tag out of his collar and put it together with the part that was on Luz's foot. "'An elixir a day keeps the curse at bay.'"

"Curse? Wait. What are you trying to say?" Luz asked, confused.

"I think he's trying to say that Eda has been cursed and has to drink an elixir to keep it at bay." Carlos said, remembering the elixir.

"Yeah, that creature is no Snaggleback. The creature is..." Before King could finish, the creature put one of its claws through the door, as it soon came through the door. Once you got a good look, the beast had Eda's face.

"Eda?" Luz asked. The Eda-beast turned her attention to the kids and King, as she was about to attack. Before she could, Luz's phone fell from her pocket and took a picture of the Eda-beast, as the flash of the phone's picture app was on. This made the Eda-beast cover her eyes from the light.

Carlos saw a chance, as he looked towards a window. He grabbed King and Luz to hide there while the Eda-beast was temporary blinded. Once hidden, Eda-beast came out of her temporary blindness, she went looking for King and the kids. They made sure to stay quiet while Eda-beast was there, sniffing around. Carlos then noticed a can next to him and threw it to distract Eda-beast, which it worked, as she went off towards the noise.

"Did you see her eyes?" Carlos asked.

"Yeah, they were like... Waahh. What happened to her?" Luz asked.

"Don't you see? The elixir I gave you doesn't give Eda powers. It prevents her from turning into that thing." King said, referring to the Eda-beast. "She's turned into a nightmare, and it's all my fault. I'm so sorry, guys. I just wanted you guys to be into demons, like you are into magic. I don't have many friends, and no one even pays that much attention to me. I thought maybe if I taught you, finally someone would care about creatures like me."

"Well, let's finish the lesson." Luz said, holding the pen from earlier.

"Huh?" King asked.

"Eda has turned into some kind of demon, and we need to save her. So who knows more about demons than the best teacher in the world?" Luz asked referring to King. This pep talk gave King a confidence boost, as he came up with a plan.

"Let's see. She was bigger, covered in feathers and had giant black eyes. Demons with black eyes are usually sensitive to light. That's it. Light. Luz, use your human wonder rectangle." King said, referring to Luz's phone.

"I can't. My camera's all busted." Luz said, as she shown to have a broken screen on her phone.

" We can try my phone." Carlos said, pulling out his phone. When he tried using it, it gave a low battery warning. "Low battery? Guess we can't use mine."

"Then what about that light spell?" King asked.

"You saw me. I can't draw circles in the air. I'm not like Eda." Luz sighed. She then went back to watching her video, as Carlos glanced over when a glyph of some kind appeared on the screen.

"Wait, what's that?" He asked, referring to the glyph.

"It looks like a glyph." Luz said.

"What? Where?" King asked, as he came to see.

"It looks like this." Luz said, as she took a leaf from a plant and the pen from King. She then drew the glyph perfectly on the leaf. "There." She pressed on the leaf, as it then turned into a ball of light.

"You did it. You figured out how to use magic." Carlos said, amazed.

"It's beautiful." Luz said, as she realized she did magic. "Oh, my gosh. I just did magic. I just did magic. I just did magic."

"Shh. We're not going to stop anything with something that small." King said.

"He's right. We need to make a bigger version of that glyph." Carlos said.

"Right. Eda said the bigger the circle, the more powerful the spell." Luz said. That's when they heard the Eda-beast roar within the house, as they hid.

"What do we do now?" King asked.

"King, you'll have to distract Eda while Luz and I work on the glyph." Carlos said, as he took the pen from Luz and gave it to him.

Meanwhile, down in the livingroom, the Eda-beast was sniffing around, looking for King and the kids. SHe then heard a clicking noise, as she seen King in the doorway with the pen, clicking it on and off.

"Oh, what lovely thing do we have here? It's just so dang shiny. Oh, my. Oh, dear." King said, as he had the fake gem part of the pen on, as it was drawing in the Eda-beast.

Eda-beast starts chasing after King, as he starts running down a hallway. He lead her into a pile of books on the floor, as she slips on thema and slides into the floor. Luz then covers her with a red blanket, which she tries to escape.

"Sorry, Eda. This is for your own good." Luz said, just as Carlos finished the glyph. Just as Eda looked from the blanket, she sees Carlos pressing on the glyph, making a bright light appear.

When the light fades, we are back in Eda's room, as Eda wakes up and is mostly back to normal. Her left eye was still black, as there were feathers here and there. She had a straw in her mouth that went to her Elixir, as she drank the rest and turned fully normal.

"What happened?" She asked. "Oh, I have the worst headache. And my mouth tastes like roadkill." She then retches and vomits out a green hairball, which opens up to show the Snaggleback.

"I'm just gonna lie here for a minute." He said, traumatized from what he experienced.

"Hmm. I was looking for that." Eda said, grabbing the elixir.

"Actually, we we found anextra one in your closet." King said, pointing towards Eda's closet.

"King? King, you stole my elixir? I ought to break every bone in your..."

"Shh. Over there." King whispered, interrupting Eda. He pointed over to a corner, where Luz and Carlos were practicing their glyphs and making light balls.

"Wow. How are they doing that?" Eda asked, astounded by what they were doing.

"I don't know, but they did it on their own." King said, then added. "Hey, I kinda messed a bunch of things up back there, and I just wanted to say I'm sorry."

"Well, you better be. I got a long list of disgusting chores with your name on it." Eda scolded. She then added, as Luz and Carlos joined them. But it's not entirely your fault. I ahven't benn completely honest with you guys. When I was younger, I was cursed. I don't know exactly how it happened. All I know is that if I don't take my elixir... Well, that's why people call em the Owl Lady."

"No one likes having a curse, but if you take the right steps, it's manageable." Eda finished.

"Whoa. So, are you okay?" Carlos asked."

"There's nothing for you to worry about. It's all under control. And as long as no one steals my elixir... King. Then I'm fine. But, hey, look at this. Humans doing magic. good on you, kids." Eda said, congratulating Luz and Carlos on making magic.

"We had some encouragement from a great teacher." Luz said, looking to King.

"Oh, you." King said, feeling flattered.

"Hey, hey. Is anyone there? Hello? hoot. I'm on the floor. Its cold." Hooty yelled from the living room.

"That voice. That horific voice." King sad, irritated by Hooty's voice. He went out of the room.

"We'll go take care of him. You stay in bed." Carlos said to Eda.

"Come on, you goopy fella. We'll set youfree now." Luz said, as she picked up the Snaggleback.

"Oh, wow. I think My tailwas digested." Snaggleback said, as Luz and Carlos left Eda alone.

Eda sighed, as she lies back in bed and closes her eyes. She then has a dream of the time she got cursed.

"No, not this memory agian." She said, standing in front of a door. The door opens up to a myserious, whispy figure covered by a bright light. "You. You're the one who cursed me, aren't you? Who are you? Who are you?" She asked, as the memory fades and she wakes back in her room.

We go down to the living room, where we see Luz putting band-aids on the doorframe Hooty was in.

"Welcome to the Boo-Boo Buddy Club, Hooty." She said to him. This made him happy.

"Finally, I get to be a part of something." Hooty happily said.

"Good on you, Hooty." Carlos said.

"And then she had teeth in her stomach. Teeth in her stomach. Can you believe that?" Snaggleback said, as he was explaining the experience of being in Eda's stomach to King.

"Oh, yeah. This will make a great addition to my demon book." King said, showing his drawing of the Eda-beast.

"That book is filled with so many interesting things. Like this. I'm one of the strongest demons on the Boiling Isles, huh?" Snaggleback asked, as he held the demon book turned to his page.

"Yeah, I'm gonna have to edit that." King said, which disappointed the Snaggleback.

And there you have it. A triple tag team to take down the Eda-beast. I know it's Owl-beast or something like that, but I like Eda-beast better. I know it wasn't long between updates, but I figured that I'd get this chapter out of the way. Also, the only spanish I did in this chapter is King saying yes.

Also, also. It is getting closer to the episode where I reveal who Carlos will date. No spoilers. Sorry, not sorry.

Alright, see you guys next chapter, where we get to go to a convention. Adios.
