Moving the Owl House

Hello everyone, and welcome back to another chapter of The Owl House: The Bro Files. As anyone who watched the show, this'll be the episode where Luz, Willow and Gus do the Moonlight Conjuring. Now, let's see how different it will be from the original, as Carlos joins them on their conjuring adventure.

Now, let's get on with this chapter and all the hijinx that will ensue.

The scene opens up with Eda holding a hand of cards with the backs of them having a closed eye with eyelashes over a black and purple background. She shuffled them in her hands, as she looked at her hand and the eyes opened up to look right up at her.

Eda had a confident look on her face, as the game she was playing was Hexes Hold'em, her favorite game. The one she was playing against was Owlbert, who gave her a hoot and a face that said, 'Bring it on.'

"Watch closely, you two. Hexes hold'em is the most tricky game on the Boiling Isles. Any proper witch knows how to play." Eda said, as she set a card down. The two she was teaching to play were Luz and Carlos.

"Oh, boy. Cards." Carlos said, in a somewhat bored tone.

"The paper rectangle that old people think are fun." Luz said in her usual optimistic voice.

The card Eda set down was a card that looked like the devil. As she did that, electricity covered every card, as Owlbert jumped off the table, as to not get hurt. The cards had then come to life, as they start going after each other.

"Now, when it looks like the deck is stacked against you, that's when you break out the wild card." Eda said, as she pulled a tower with a three pointed roof. It had a red background with mountains behind it. It glowed green, as it instantly destroyed Owlbert's cards on his side of the field. Flames then magically appeard, saying 'Winner: Eda' as they fade away.

Owlbert then got back on the table and bows with a hoot, as Eda cheers.

"Whoo! I win. In your adorable owl face." Eda gloated to Owlbert. "I love the feelong of victory. It feels fluffy?" She felt something strange was going on.

"Ah, Eda, it's happening again." Luz said, as she noticed Eda was starting to turn back into her owl-beast form.

"What's happening again?" Eda asked, still not realizing feathers were growing on her arms.

"Your curse is returning." King said, pointing to Eda's arms. Eda then started to panic when she noticed the feathers.

Eda then went to a chest in her room that held her elixirs. Once she opened it and everyone took a look inside to see empty elixir bottles. Cobwebs were even forming on a couple of the bottles.

"Oh, boy. This is terrible. I'm out of elixir." Eda said, as she pulled a bottle out and tipped on the opening side, as nothing came out.

"And it never occurred to you to restock up once you ran out?" Carlos asked.

"Last time this happened, you turned into this thing." Luz said, showing Eda what she looked like in her owl-beast form on her phone.

"I know I should be repulsed, but that look is fierce." Eda said, admiring the owl-beast form.

"Eda." Luz and Carlos said, snapping her out of it.

"You're right. You're right. We need to head to the market." Eda said, as she slammed a fist into her hand.

"Market." Luz cheered, saying the last word Eda said. She then got up.

"I'm gonna steal everything that's not nailed down." King cheered, following Luz.

"You really are a little kleptomaniac, aren't you?" Carlos asked, getting up as well. This made King giggle.

"Before we go, would anyone like to play one more hand of Hexes hold'em?" Eda asked, as she patted where she kept the deck on her person, only to not find it there. "Hey, where are my cards?" She asked.

Apparently, Luz was holding them behind her back. She then turned and gave them to Owlbert.

"Take these and fly ahead. She'll have to follow us." She quietly told Owlbert, who agreed and flew off with the deck. Eda then noticed Owlbert flying off with the deck.

"Owlbert, you sore loser. Give me back my cards." Eda said, angrily chasing after Owlbert.

"Good thing that worked out." Carlos said.

"Just as planned." Luz agrees, as they all left for the market.

We're now in Bonesborough, as Eda was wearing a red cloak and knocking on a shop that had a sign that said 'Mr. Elixir.'

"Hey, open up, Morton." Eda shouted to someone named Morton.

"Uh, just a minute." Came the voice of Morton. Luz and Carlos were sitting on a bench, as King came to join them.

"Is there anything better than people-watching in the Demon Realm?" Luz optimistically asked, helping King onto the bench. We then wee a huge egg appear at an egg-stop, as the biggest baby bird they saw hatched from the egg and flew off. The demons that were waiting at the egg-stop entered the egg, as it closed and rolled off.

"Having something fun to do in the Demon Realm." Carlos said, as he had a fair point. Tinella came running, hoping for them to stop, but was too late.

"The curse of tiny legs." Luz said.

"I know the pain." King said, as he knew what it was like to not be able to keep up with others that had longer legs than him.

They then heard footsteps and what sounded like wheels rolling. They saw a bunch of beings in brown cloaks with a huge, worm-like beast on a huge cart. They were being led by a green demon with an eyepatch on his left eye. His uniform was a bit different, as his had metal shoulder pads and a sache with a shrunken head going across his torso. He even had a sword on his back.

"Whoa! That is one ominous parade." Luz said, walking up to Eda, who was still waiting for the shop to open up. She then turned to see what Luz was talking about.

""That's no parade. Those are demon hunters." Eda said. "Dangerous nomads who capture and sell the most powerful beasts."

The beast the demon hunters had contained was trying to get free, but they made sure to calm it down.

"Which I'm about to become if you don't open up, Morton." Eda shouted, banging on the cage that was still closed.

"Sorry, Eda. I was up all night poison tasting, and for some reason I don't feel great." Morton said, as he finally opened up the shop.

" Maybe next time you don't poison taste everything." Carlos said, walking up to the shop.

"Don't listen to him. Look, I'm all out of my juice, pal." Eda said, holding up a bottle that had her elixir in it.

"Oh, gee. Let me see what I can do." Morton said, as he started looking for the elixir Eda needed. As he was doing that, the demon hunters had left with the beast, as Luz noticed Willow and Gus coming her way.

"Willow and Gus." She said, as she runs up to them. Carlos saw where she was heading and followed her. "Hey friends. Wait. What's wrong? Who hurt my babies?" She asked.

"Them." Willow sadly said, pointing to Amity and her group of friends.

One of the witch girls that was with Amity had three eyes, pink hair tied in a bun except two strands on the sides of her face. She wore the Hexside uniform too, but her sleeves and tights were yellow, meaning she was in the potion track. This is Boscha.

The next girl had slightly darker skin, wore glasses and had long, wavy hair that had a side bang on the left side. Her sleves and tights on her uniform were a darker blue than Gus', meaning she was in the healing track. This is Cat.

And the last girl had slightly more darker skin than the last girl, as her hair was white on top and black on the sides and back, as it was also up in a bun. Her uniform had red sleeves and tights, meaning she was in the bard track. This is Skara.

"Amity's having a moonlight conjuring and invited everyone but me." Willow said, as we pan back to her, Gus, Luz and Carlos.

"And she keeps posting about on her Penstagram account." Gus said, pulling out a witch's version of an iPhone and showed Luz and Carlos the account in question.

"'It's conjuring night. No dorks allowed!'" Luz read aloud. "What a jerk."

"What's a moonlight conjuring?" Carlos asked, confused on what that was.

"You spend the night at someone's house, telling stories, playing games," Willow started explaining, before being interrupted by Luz.

"Like a slumber party. We have those." She excitedly said.

"Then you bring something to life with moon magic." Willow finished her explaination, showing a page of a book on what needs to be done during a moonlight conjuring. Carlos had taken a close look at the page.

"Like a weird slumber party." Luz said, still excited about this.

"Gus and I have never been to one. You need at least three people and..."

"I'm three people. I mean, we're three people. And we're way better than them." Luz said, directing to Amity and her friends.

"Sorry you couldn't get get an invite ot the conjuring, Willow. Only real witches allowed." Boscha rudely said.

"Leave her alone. It's not her fault she wasn't born without talent." Amity scoffed, as she and her friends walk off. This made Willow so mad, that thorny vines grew around her feet.

"Don't listen to her, Willow." Carlos told her.

"Yeah, don't waste your time getting thorny over them. 'Cause we're gonna have our own moonlight conjuring." Luz said.

"Are you serious? This is on my bucket list." Gus said, pulling out an actuall bucket list and checking off moonlight conjuring. "After owning a real human bucket."

"That's a really weird thing to want, but I appreciate your enthusiasm. I'll go tell Eda." Luz said, as she ran towards Eda.

"I've got bad news and good news. Bad news is I'm all out till next week. Good news is feathers are a good look for you." Morton told Eda, as a feather sprouted from her head.

"Morton!" Eda frustratedly shouted.

"Well, gee, E. Why did you wait to re-up till now?" Morton asked.

"I've been busy." Eda told him.

"Yeah, busy playing Hexes hold'em. She's obsessed with it." King said from the bench he was sitting on.

"I am not obsessed." Eda defensively said.

"You're playing it right now." King said, as Eda was actually playing said game.

"Am I winning?" She asked with a smile on her face.

"You know, I wouldn't suggest this to just anybody, but if you need your elixir, you could try your luck later this evening." Morton ominously said.

"In the Night Market?" Eda asked silently.

"There's a guy with a stand. Goes by Grimm Hammer. If anyone has what you need, it's him." Morton said.

"Eda, Gus and Willow and I are gonna do a moonlight conjuring and are gonna stick it to Amity, so can we..." Before Luz could finish her question, Eda interrupted her.

"Not tonight. I'm going out. I need you and Carlos to watch the house. I have many precious objects in there." She told Luz.

"Like me. Oop!" King said, as Eda then picked him up by the back of the neck.

"You're coming with me. I need an extra pair of eyes looking out for pickpockets. And an extra pair of hands in case I wanna pickpocket." Eda half joked, as she and King both happily yelled, "Pickpocket."

"Then maybe they can come to the house and..."

"No." Eda interrupted Luz again. "Conjurings are dumb. Sitting in a circle, holding hands. Pfft. It's like magic for babies." She scoffed, walking off.

"But..."

"Luz, what did Eda say?" Willow asked, as she, Gus and Carlos walked up to her.

"So, guys..."

"Oh, look." Gus said, interrupting Luz and pointing up to the sky, as everyone looked up. "The moon is rising into place. And the celestial powers only align once a year."

"Oh, I can't believe I have enought friends for a moonlight conjuring. Thank you, Luz. So, did Eda say it was okay?" Willow asked.

"Uh... Yes. She said can do it at the Owl House. As long as we don't make a mess or touch anything and never bring up that we did it." Luz said, as she laughed nervously. This seemed pretty sketchy to Carlos.

"Excuse us for a moment." Carlos said, pushing Luz away from Willow and Gus a short distance. "Luz, what's really going on?" He whispered to her.

"Eda said we couldn't do the conjuring because she's going out for the night. But I don't want to disappoint our new friends, so I had to tell them she said yes." Luz said in a panicked whisper.

"Luz! Not only are you lying to our friends, but you are technically lying to Eda. Eda is trusting us to watch over the Owl House and you are breaking that trust." Carlos whispered to her.

"I know, but I also didn't want to disappoint our new friends. Please help me with this and Eda will never know." Luz whispered.

"Fine, but you owe me for this." Carlos told her in a hushed tone. They then went back to Willow and Gus. "Who's ready for a moonlight conjuring?" He asked the two friends, who were excited.

"Yes!" Gus cheered.

"Oh, you two are the best!" Willow joined in the cheering.

"We're gonna do a conjuring. We're gonna do a conjuring." Both Willow and Gus chanted in excitement.

We're now at the Owl House, as it was starting to get dark out. Eda was getting ready to go out, as she had a cloak covering everything but her face.

"Carlos, since you're the oldest, you're in charge while I'm out. Make sure Hooty or Luz doesn't get into trouble." She told Carlos.

"Hoot, hoot. I don't need a babysitter. I'm a big boy house." Hooty said, opening the door so he could tell Eda that.

"You can count on me. I would never betray your hard-earned trust." Carlos told Eda. That's when Luz nervously hid in the hood of her hoody.

"She's acting suspicious. Why are you hiding in your hoody?" Eda asked Luz.

"Meow! I'm not. Er... Oh, where's King?" Luz asked, noticing King wasn't there.

"He's right here." Eda said, opening her cloak to reveal King sleeping in a baby carrier strapped around Eda. "His little body just conks out when he's weightless. Look at this." Eda moved her body back and forth, making King's limbs sway back and forth.

"Aw! He's so dangly." Luz cooed at how cute that was.

"Anyway, really going now." Eda said, as she left out the door. Luz and Carlos had followed her out. "And, Carlos, if you and Luz mess up the house, I will never trust either one of you again. No pressure. Bye-ee." Eda said, as she flew off on her staff.

"Okay, she's gone." Luz said, once Eda was out of sight.

"Release. I'm a sneaky sneakster." Willow said, as she and Gus appeared from the bush she created.

"I've got leaves in my pants. And I like it." Gus said.

"You are one strange kid, Gus." Carlos said with a chuckle.

"Company. Hooray. Finally, someone to listen to my stories." Hooty cheered, as Carlos opened the door and everyone went in. "Okay, one time a sparrow flew into my mouth and then I... Hey." Before Hooty could finish, Carlos closed the door on him. He then coughed, as the sparrow he talked about flew out of his mouth.

"Welcome to the living room." Luz said, as they were in the living room now. "We call it that because it's technically living. The walls are breathing. Look." As to prove her point, the walls did move in and out, like they were breathing.

"Enchanting." Willow said, amazed.

"And look at all these human treasures." Gus said, as he was rummaging through a chest with human things in it. He then pulled out a magic 8-ball toy, followed by a human skull. "And actual humans."

"We've got weird snacks. We've got weird music." Luz said, holding a bowl full of eyeballs, followed by turning on a record player that did a creepy laugh.

"We've got a bucket." Gus happily said, wearing a blue toy bucket on his head.

"My man." Luz said, happy for Gus.

"And best of all, we have actual friends to do the conjuring with. This is so exciting!" Willow excitedly said.

"So, how does this conjuring work?" Carlos asked.

"Well, first, we find an object to animate. Since it's our first time, we should choose something meaningful. Something beautiful." Willow said, looking towards a pot of plants.

"Like this strangely buff little man?" Gus asked, holding up a Beefy Bob action figure and giving him a squeeze.

"I'm half beef, half Bob." The Beefy Bob action figure said.

"Beefy Bob?" Carlos asked.

"Yes, he's perfect!" Juz excitedly said.

"That's not exactly what I meant by beautiful." Willow said, not exactly fond of the choice. That's when Gus gave her the 'puppy' eyes, making her accept it. "Okay, buff boy it is."

"Yes!" Luz cheered, hugging Willow.

"Tonight he shall be risen!" Gus exclaimed.

Luz, Willow and Gus sit in a circle with a few lit candles, as they placed Beefy Bob in between them. Carlos sat on the couch, as to watch what they do.

"According to the conjuring books I read, we say the incantation and make a connection with the doll." Willow said.

"Figurine." Gus corrected. They then all start chanting and glowing.

"Moonlight, we call, we sing. Moonlight, take this chance. Moonlight, come tie the string. Moonlight, start the dance!" They all chanted, though Luz didn't say the last part because she didn't know the words. The glow that surrounded them then expanded throughout the house, as it blew out the candles as well. They then opened their eyes and looked at Beefy Bob.

"That's your cue, little man." Gus told the action figure. Then a huge rumbling started, shaking everything.

"What's going on!?" Carlos asked, holding on to an arm of the couch, while everyone else was trying to maintain their balance but failed.

Suddenly, we go outside to see Hooty's eyes starting to glow, as he starts lifting himself from the ground, revealing he had bird legs under the house.

"Guys, did the entire house just hiccup?" Luz asked, as a book fell on her head.

"Little buff guy, what did you do?" Gus asked the Beefy Bob action figure, giving him a squeeze.

"A real man never takes accountability." Beefy Bob said.

"Guys, I could be wrong, but I think you animated the house. And possibly Hooty along with it." Carlos said.

"He could be right. Otherwise, the doll would be alive." Willow said.

"Wait, the house?" Luz asked. She went outside, as she didn't make it far, as there was a cliff leading to a fall a foot or two outside the door. Everyone had followed her outside. She and everyone gasped, as Hooty started walking forward.

"Hooty. Hooty. Hooty, you have to stop." Luz said, trying to get Hooty's attention, but he didn't listen.

"By the power of moonlight, I have risen. Hoot, hoot." Hooty said, as he was in a trance.

"He's in some kind of trance." Gus said. Suddenly, a bump made Gus slip and fall off the ledge, but Luz and Willow caught him just in time.

"Our magic must've spread through the house instead of the doll." Willow stated.

"Figurine." Gus corrected. Luz and Willow almost lost their balance, as they then hold hands to keep balance. That's when they started to glow again.

"Hooty, stop!" Luz commanded, as Hooty followed orders and stopped. They ahd almost fallen off a cliff. Luz and Willow then pulled Gus back up and they let go of each other and stopped glowing.

"How'd we do that?" Gus asked.

"That's it! You guys need to hold hands to control Hooty." Carlos told them.

"Willow, Gus. Hold hands again." Luz said, as they did as they were told and started glowing again. The house then starts walking backwards.

"We're controlling it with the power of friendship." Willow said positively, then added. "And the moon. Probably the moon."

"This is amazing. What should we do now?" Gus asked.

"On the one hand, we should probably stay put." Luz said.

"On the other hand, we've got a giant walking house and should totally take it on a joyride." Gus excitedly said.

"Hey, remember who Eda put in charge here." Carlos said, as he then thought aloud to himself. "I did promise Eda that I would take care of things. But, she's not here to know of this." He looked up at the moon, seeing as they still had plenty of moon time left. "Okay, as long as we're back before the moon sets, we should be fine and Eda won't kill me."

Luz, Willow and Gus cheer, as they and Carlos took the house on a joyride. Unbeknownst to them, they had passed in front of the leader of the demon hunters, as he watched them walk by with a growl.

With Eda, she was traveling through the Night Market to find the one who sold her elixir. She noticed the feathers on her arm were getting worse, as she needed to find Grimm Hammer quick.

"The curse. I need that elixer quick." She said to herself. She then noticed someone sitting in the alleyway and walked over to him. "Hey, you. You know where I can find a Grimm Hammer?" She asked, as the guy had no eyes. The guy nodded as he was about to say, until a rat came out of his left eye and pointed in the direction of Grimm Hammer's stand.

Eda then starts walking towards the tent.

Back with Luz, Carlos, Willow and Gus, they kept going on their joyride. They then spotted Boscha walking over to Amity's while talking to a crow like a cellphone.

"Hey, is that..."

"It's Boscha. The girl who made fun of us." Gus finished what Willow was about to say. We then get a closer look on who Boscha was talking to.

"Ugh! Yes, mom. I'm going to a moonlight conjuring." Boscha said, as she was talking with her mom. "No, mom. You can't come. And yes, mom, it's sad that you're asking." She then let go of the crow-phone, as it flew off. She then had a feeling like she was being followed, as she turned around to see the Owl House there.

"She noticed us. What do we do?" Willow asked. That's when Luz thought of a plan.

"Hey, hey should stop being so mean to people. You're kind of a jerk." Luz said through a megaphone Gus had conjured up with his illusion making skills. Everyone at the Owl House laughed at that.

"Ew! A talking house is giving me a lecture? Whatever. I'll just TP you like I did with the rest of the neighborhood." Boscha said, not really caring.

"But don't you see? I'm no mere house." Carlos piped in, as he roared into the megaphone just as the Owl House rose up on its feet. This made Boscha run away screaming, as everyone laughed at the prank.

"I've never pranked anyone before. And now I have a taste for it." Gus said.

"You'll get used to doing more pranks. Just don't go overboard with them." Carlos said, ruffling Gus' hair.

"We should follow Boscha to Amity's house to show off our conjuring. That'll show her who's got no talent." Willow said.

"I see. Payback for that horrible nickname she gave you." Carlos said, which Willow nodded. "As much as I would love to, I think we shoud go back."

"Amity's updating her Penstagram." Gus said, showing Amity's Penstagram page with a new update.

"'Shoutout to my fellow witches! #Humanscanbiteit.' Let's do it." Lus had read, and now she wanted to show off. They all then went towards Amity's house. Unbeknownst to them yet again, they were being followed.

Back with Eda, she had approached the tent Grimm Hammer had his wares.

"Hello? Uh, I seek the one they call Grimm Hammer." Eda said.

"I'm the one they call Grimm Hammer." Came a somewhat gravelly voice. Suddenly, the curtains to the stand popped up, as a small, pig-like demon wearing a pink blaiser over a white shirt and glasses appeared on the countertop.

"Welcome, welcome, welcome. I got weapons from the Hinterlands, curses from the Winterlands, and jellybeans." 'Grimm Hammer' said, as his voice was now a little higher than before.

"Jellybeans!" King excitedly said, catching a red jellybean.

"They're leathly delicious." 'War Hammer' said. King was about to eat the jellybean, until Eda swatted it out of his hand.

"You are Grimm Hammer?" Eda asked in disbelief.

"Tibblet-Tibblie Grimm Hammer the Third. Please, call me Tibbles." Tibbles introduced himself. That made King laugh.

"He wants to be called that." He said in a mocking tone.

"Okay, Tibbles, I need some of this elixir." Eda said, handing Tibbles a bottle the elixir came in.

"Oh, this is one wicked brew. Lucky for you I just stocked up." Tibbles said, inspecting the empty bottle before grabbing one full of elixir with his tail.

"Hozam! I'll give you 10 snails." Eda said, grabbing her coin purse.

"Add two more zeros and it's a deal." Tibbles bargained.

"A thousand snails?! What kind of game are you playing?" Eda asked, furious about the price.

"Capitalism. Where everyone wins, except you." Tibbles said, getting off the counter.

"Hey." Eda was about to counter with her arguement, unti she saw a deck of Hexes hold'em on his counter. "Say, you play Hexes hold'em?" She asked.

"Really? Now?" King asked, not all that surprised she would want to play that now.

"Oh! Is that what that game is called? I was just using these as coasters." Tibbles said, pretending not to know what the game was, as he came back over and grabbed the cards while now sitting on the counter.

"How about we make this interresting? I win, you give me the elixir. You win, you can take something of mine." Eda said, making the conditions of the deal.

"Oh, what fun. You're on." Tibble said, accepting the offer.

Back with the kids, they were still heading over to Amity's place. They had made a detour through Bonesborough, as a bunch of people were getting out of the way of the walking house. They finally got to a mansion on a hill with a gate out front that said 'Blight Manor' on it.

"Look, Amity's house." Willow pointed out. "Time to show Amity what a real conjuring looks like."

They passed the gates, as they continued forward to the house. Though, before they could get any further, a rope went over the house and captured it, making everyone stumble.

"What happened?" Willow asked.

"Is that a giant crossbow?" Luz asked, pointing out a giant crossbow-like ballista.

"That's a ballista. And is someone opporating it?" Carlos asked, as indeed one of the demon hunters was opporating the ballista.

The leader of the demon hunters gave the command to fire the balista, as a samll, three-eyed frog-looking guy pulled the lever. Once he did, a metal arrow with rope tied to it fired from it and went over the house and into the ground, capturing the house further.

The leader then jumped up to the part of land the house took with it and saw the four teens standing there. "Knock, knock." He said, his voice being kinda deep. This made all four kids gasp in fright.

Pretty soon, the whole house was on a moving cart, as the kids were tied up inside. Willow was looking sad, as Gus and Carlos were trying to escape and Luz was kicking at the door, trying to get Hooty out of his trance.

"Hooty! Hooty, you have to wake up!" Luz yelled.

"If you want this to end as you say, three must hold hands. It's the only way." Hooty said from outside.

"Oye, no me hables asi!" Luz said in spanish, as she then turned to WIllow. "Willow, will you help me out with Hooty?"

"I'm sorry, Luz. You shouldn't ask me to help with anything." Willow apologetically said.

"Willow, if this is about Amity and those other girls teasing you, then ignore them. They don't know what they're talking about." Carlos told her. Suddenly, the cart stopped, as it made the four kids fall and stumble over each other.

"Did the house stop moving?" Lus asked.

"My insides didn't." Gus groaned. The front door opened up, as the leader of the demon hunters came in laughing. He grabbed the four teens and brought them outside and pushed them to the ground below.

"Take the house and rip out the house demon. We cah sell it to restaurants as exotic meat." Demanded the leader of the demon hunters to his men.

"No. Hooty would taste terrible." Luz said, trying to not have that happen.

"Hey, I'm a refined taste. Hoot, hoot." Hooty argued, still in his trance.

"What do we do with the worms?" One of the hunters asked the leader, referring to the kids.

"Throw them over the cliff." The leader said, as the hunter that asked the question laughed evilly and grabbed the kids to take them to the cliff.

"All righty, kids. Here's the end of your short, little lives." The hunter said, pushing them closer to the edge of the cliff, as we can see the water down below.

"Wait. Wait. Wait. is this really what you wanna be doing with your life? Tossing kids from cliffs?" Gus asked, trying to reason with the hunter.

"Actually, yes. It's been my dream since I was a boy." The hunter said, with a smile on his face.

"Estas jodido de la cabeza!" Carlos exclaimed in spanish, as everyone else looked at the hunter with weird expressions.

"I don't know what he said, but I was a strange child. Whee!" The hunter laughed, as he pushed the four kids off the cliff.

The kids were then caught by a branch, just left dangling there. That's when Carlos spoke up.

"If we aren't killed now, we will be when Eda finds out about the house." He said.

"Carlos, I'm so sorry. You wanted to turn back, but I just had to show off to Amity." Willow apologized, the added. "The truth is she and I used to be friends."

"What?" Both Carlos and Luz asked, surprised to here WIllow and Amity used to be friends. They didn't notice the tree they were hanging from was starting to break from their weight.

"We played together as kids, but when she got her magical powers and I didn't, she stopped hanging out with me." Willow explained.

"Guys, is now the best time?" Gus asked, realizing the danger they were in.

"I just wanted to prove to her that I was a powerful witch too." Willow sadly said.

"That's ridiculous." Luz said, making Willow look to Luz.

"She's right. You helped bring a house to life. Amity doesn't know what she's talking about." Carlos said, agreeing with Luz. This made Willow smile.

"Nezt to Eda, you're the most powerful witch I know." Luz said, then added. "No offense, Gus."

"No, not at all. I know what I'm about." Gus said. Suddenly, the branch started braking even more, making everyone notice and panic.

"This tree can't hold us much longer." Gus pointed out, as Willow got her hand free.

"Now, if I can just reach that root. Gotcha!" Willow said, as she reacher for an exposed root and grabbed it. She used her plant magic on it, as it started to grow.

Back with Eda and King, Eda had lost a game of Hexes hold'em to Tibbles.

"Oof! That was painful to watch." King remarked.

"You card shark. You hussled me!" Eda exclaimed, upset she lost.

"Looks like you forgot about my wild card." Tibbles said, showing the wild card. The wild card came to life, as it turned to show a guy in a tanktop, as it ripped the tanktop off.

"In any case, I'd like my prize now. And I choose the little bone boy." Tibble said, pointing to King and took him. "I've always wanted a tiny servant to model my line of baby clothes."

"No. I don't look good in clothes. I'm all-natural. Eda, do something!" King exclaimed, trying to get out of Tibble's grasp.

Eda tried casting a spell on Tibble, but a bunch more feathers grew on her arm, making her grunt in frustration. "Ah! I can't perform magic." She said. Tibble snapped his fingers, as magical green chains came from the ground and wrapped around Eda, making her fall over.

"You think this can stop me? I can still bite your ankles." Eda said from the ground.

"You don't think I know who you are? Eda the Owl Lady." Tibble said, as Eda gasped. "That's right. I've seen your wanted posters around here. You'll fetch me a great price for handing you over to the Emperor's Coven." He said, holding up her wanted poster.

Back at the house, we see the demon hunters just standing and talking.

"Yeah, they tried to fight back, and they nearly got me. But, you know, I handled it." The hunter that pushed the kids off the cliff boasted, trying to act tough.

"They were children, Tom." The leader told the hunter known as Tom, making him sound less tough. Then a shadow loomed over them, as they looked up to see a huge thorny plant being controlled by Willow. Willow then used one of the thorny roots to cut the rope binding her and her friends together, making it fall to their feet.

"We may be children, but we're also witches. Powerful ones." Willow said, as she commanded the plant to attack the demon hunters.

The first root made Tom go flying, as the leadersliced it afterwards. Another of the hunters tried doing the same thing to another root, but got flung into the dirt by that root. Willow and the others got to the ground and ran to the house, as the plant took care of the demon hunters. They then all went inside and closed the door.

"Quick, hold hands and get us out of here." Carlos said, as Luz, Willow and Gus did just that. They glowed again, as they got the house free and moving again.

The demon hunters were too distracted by the plant, that they didn't know the house was up and moving until the leader looked up and saw it.

"Uhh..." Was all he he could muster, as the house then stepped on him.

"Oh, no. I don't mean to step on this victory, but we gotta get home before Eda does." Carlos said, looking out the window to see the moon has almost set. They then start walking back, leaving the demon hunters behind, defeated.

"'They're just children, Tom.'" Tom mocked what his boss said before they were beaten, making the leader give Tom a look that said 'Not now, Tom.'

Back with King and Eda, Eda was still tied up on the ground, while King was dressed in a sailor's costume and tied to one of the posts.

"King, I'm sorry." Eda apologized to King.

"King? Who's King? I go by little bone boy now." King said, turning his head away from her.

"I know I have a problem. I get obsessed with Hexes hold'em. But I'm done with that stupid game. Look." She said, as she takes one of the cards in her mouth and starts chewing it up.

"You promise?" King asked, not truly believing her.

"I promise." Eda promised, her mouth still having the card in there.

"Okay, okay." King said with a laugh, as he then removed the chain from his ankle. "I'll grab you the elixir and then we can bust out of here."

"Bone Boy!" Tibble called out.

"Huh?" King asked, seeing Tibble standing in front of him.

"You will do no such thing. The Emperor's Coven is already on it's way to send this witch here to the Conformatorium." Tibbles said, as he then added. "And I just russled up some more clothes for you to try on."

"Just because I have a model's body doesn't mean you can use me like this." King said, throwing the sailor hat he was wearing to the ground. Suddenly, the ground started shaking and there was rumbling, but they ignored it.

"I can and I am, Bone Boy. I've got the cards stacked against you." Tibbles said. The rumbling was getting closer. "And nothing can stop me. Nothing!"

Suddenly, the foot of the Owl House stomped on his shop, crushing it and making a mess. "Sorry, mister!" Luz called out, as the house walked away. This made Eda laught at Tibble's misfortune, until she realized something.

"Wait, was that my house?" She asked herself.

"Eda, quick." King said, throwing the elixir to her. She caught the open end in her mouth, as she drank all the elixir inside. She broke free of her chains, as the feathers on her arms disappeared.

"No, no, no. My scam stand." Tibbles whinned.

"Sorry, Tibbles, old boy. Looks like you forgot about the wild card." Eda joked, throwing several cards at Tibbles.

"Curse you, witch. Curse you, Bone Boy. I will have my revenge. Tibblet-Tibblie Grimm Hammer the Third will have his revenge." Tibbles called out, as Eda had left. His stand then fell in on him.

Back with the kids, they safely got the Owl House back to the spot it was in, as it got in the right position. Once it did, we head to the living room with the kids.

"Did we do it?" Luz asked. Hooty then opened the door.

"Is the room spinning, or is it just me?" Hooty joked, as he weakly laughed at it. "Ah, just a little house humor. Whew!"

"Sorry about all that, Hooty." Carlos apologized.

"It's okay. I'm just glad I was included." Hooty said, just as the door closed, showing Eda and King standing there with looks of disappointment and anger.

"Oh, boy." Luz said guiltily.

"You are so busted." Eda said sternly, walking up to them.

"Oh, man." Lus said again.

"You held a moonlight conjuring." Eda said, getting closer.

"I did." Luz admitted.

"And you animated my house. My house!" Eda said, as she then turned to Carlos. "And I left you in charge."

"This was all her idea, I swear." Carlos said, pointing to Luz.

"Yes, it was." Luz said, expecting punishment. That's when Willow got between Eda and the siblings.

"No, don't punish them. We're the ones who pushed them to do the conjuring." She said, willing to take the blame.

"If you're gonaa eat me, do it now. Do it now." Gus stepped in, also willing to take the blame.

"Hey, you did't have to do that." Luz told Willow.

"Yes, Luz. I did." Willow told her, showing how strong their friendship is.

"Well, you're all guilty, so you'll all be punished by cleaning my house from top to bottom." Eda said, making a spell circle and made cleaning supplies appear.

"And another thing..." Eda started, making everyone gulp. "That was totally amazing. And I'm so joining you for next year's conjuring Now get to work." The kids all thought something worse was coming, as they all went to work.

"I can't believe they animated a whole house." King said in disbelief.

"Yeah, you're right. That takes some powerful magic." Eda said, looking at the kids in amazement.

"You know, I still kinda wish we got to show up Amity." Luz said while cleaning.

"Yeah. Too bad no one will know of our daring adventures." Willow said.

We're now in Amity's house, where we see Boscha, Skara, Cat and a fourth girl from the plant track Amity invited sitting in a circle. Apparently, they couldn't do the conjuring.

"So what if we couldn't move a doll? Now we have time for what really matters. Penstagram!" Boscha scoffed, as she and the other girls pulled out their phone-scrolls and went on to Penstagram.

Amity was sitting in the window, as she heard a gasp and looked over. Boscha had a look of disbelief, as she walked over to see what she was looking at. What they were looking at were pictures of Luz, Willow, Gus and Carlos animating the Owl House. Amity and Boscha then looked at each other in disbelief.

"What?" They both shouted.

And there we go. Another chapter done.
