A Different Path of Fate
Greetings, my dear readers, it is I, MR. DEATH RIDER, coming to you with another story. This time, one on Sekirei. And it is the first non-cross over story since my Death Note one. Whilst I am busy with Mahou Sensei Ichigo!, Shuffled Bleach and Ichigo's Random Summons, this idea popped into my head, and it won't go away. So I decided to type it down. And I have decided to change many things, so don't be surprised in what you see. With that out of the way, let us begin!
Summary: Finding out that he failed to get into university for a second time, Minato leaves dejectedly. Whilst explaining to his mother, he has a chance encounter with a certain Sekirei, an encounter that changes both his life and the lives of all in the Sekirei Plan.
Chapter 1: Chance Meetings
19-year-old Sahashi Minato sighed deeply as he glanced at the result board. After a few minutes of searching, he finally gave up after not seeing his name. Leaning into his crutches, he slowly hobbled away, the crowd parting for him like the Red Sea. Minato nodded in thanks as he slowly made his way. The cause of his reliance on crutches was due to his left leg being in a cast.
After leaving the grounds of the university, he headed towards the nearby park so he could sit down before contacting his mother. Many people parted aside, allowing him to continue without any hinderance as he made his way slowly. After entering the park, he made a beeline to the nearest bench, slowly sitting down and moving his crutches to the side next to him. With that done, he fished out his cell phone out and begun to dial a number that he knew by heart, then placing said device to his ear.
"Minato? How did it go?" The voice of his mother came out the receiver.
Sighing deeply, he responded. "Failed, Kaa-chan."
He heard his mother click her tongue in annoyance on the other line. He didn't need to see that she was scowling.
"That damned pig… if I get my hands on that bastard who broke your leg…" His mother growled out, before sighing again. "I won't hold you responsible for this, Minato. You're most probably were in too much pain to focus on the exams. So what will you do now?"
"I don't know. But I think I might leave the place I'm staying at."
"Agreed. I'll send someone over to help you. The last thing I want to know is you damaged your leg any more by moving heavy objects."
"Thanks, Kaa-chan. I'll let you know when I'm back at my place. I'm currently at the park."
With that said, the two bade each other goodbye and hanged up. Minato sighed more, before picking his crutches up and sat up to leave the park. After leaving, he noted that he was quite peckish, changing his direction to the closest shopping market to get some food. As he turned the corner, his eyes would widen as he crashed into a young woman, sending them both to the ground from bumping into each other.
As he landed onto the ground, he hissed in pain, unable to focus on anything as both of his hands held his leg. The woman who bumped into him had her eyes opened wide in horror at what she saw. Ignoring the dropped items from her shopping, she got up and rushed to Minato's side, slowly rubbing his back in a way to try and soothe the pain he was going through.
After a few minutes, Minato finally calmed down, though a grimace was visible on his face from the pain. He then looked to see the woman to his left, blushing brightly as he realized how close her face was to his own. Brown eyes gazed at him with concern, her long purple hair flowing in the breeze, the bangs in a hime cut just above her eyes. A purple hakama, white haori with a sash-like belt, wooden sandals, white socks and a white ribbon in her hair was her choice of clothing. Only one word could be described in Minato's mind for the woman before him; beautiful.
Seeing his flushed face, the woman before him grew more concerned. She feared that he was getting a fever. Pushing both his hair and her own hair aside, she pressed her forehead gently to his own to check his temperature. This action alone only caused Minato to blush even more. But it had a different affect with the woman. As soon as their foreheads were against each other, her eyes would widen as her heartbeat vibrated through her entire body. Gasping a little, she backed away slowly as a pink hue covered her cheeks.
'Impossible! I'm reacting to him!?' She thought, before gazing at him more. Deciding the silence was too awkward, she slowly got up and helped him up as well. "My apologies. I should have slowed down when I reached the corner." She then gave him a polite bow, her concern for his wellbeing more powerful than her reaction.
Minato coughed a little as he gazed at her shopping bags and the contents on the floor. "It's ok, I was lost in thought. I would insist on picking up your groceries, but my leg would protest."
The woman giggled elegantly into her hand, smiling as he brushed her concerns away with a small attempt with humor. Sighing a little, she proceeded to pick the items up, along with one of his crutches.
"I'm glad to know you're a gentleman. I am Asama Miya, and I would again like to apologize for causing you pain." She responded with a small smile, bowing her head politely.
Minato waved it off, chuckling sheepishly. "You don't need to apologize, Asama-san, but I appreciate it. I'm Sahashi Minato, and it's nice to meet you." He would then blush a little more as his stomach decided to remind him why he was heading to the grocery shop.
Miya giggled more at this, shaking her head a little. "Then I will make it up to you with lunch, Minato-san. And please, call me Miya."
"Are you sure that's alright? I don't want to impose on you." Minato rubbed his head sheepishly, trying his best to control his blush as his stomach grumbled more.
"My goodness! I can't ignore that, especially after the pain I caused you when we bumped into each other. I insist." She smiled more, a strange purple aura covering her body.
Minato missed the aura as he had closed his eyes, rubbing his face. "Alright, you win."
Miya could only blink in surprise, surprised he was not affected by her aura. However, she smiled as she then guided him towards her home, walking at a slow pace so as not to force Minato to move any faster than necessary.
Minato was sitting at a table in the Maison Izumo, having just learned that it was a boarding home. Learning what Miya, the Landlady, told him, he decided that he would move here, as the price was better, as well as being closer to the university than his apartment. As for the woman herself, she was busy in the kitchen. And Minato wouldn't lie that the smell coming from said kitchen was amazing. But what he found strange was the warm feeling in his heart by being inside the building. That, and he couldn't help but notice he was being watched.
As Minato was looking around the living room, Miya was leaning against the counter after stirring the pot. Her face was more flushed as she pressed the small part of her back into the counter. 'I'm reacting to him… this should be impossible, but it's happening. When he leaves, I need to speak to Matsu-san… but what should I do? I don't want to betray Takehito, but he always told me that I shouldn't deny the person I react to and that he'd want me to find happiness…'
After a few minutes, Minato would blink as he heard footsteps coming down from the stairs. Turning around, he would see a feminine male enter the room. He was a few inches shorter than Minato and had dark brown eyes with grey-white hair. He wore a long-sleeved white shirt with the top most and bottom most buttons unbuttoned. He also wore long, black pants. The male would blink as he saw Minato sitting at an awkward angle due to his leg, before shrugging.
"Yo. Are you a new tenant?" He asked as he sat opposite of Minato.
"Not of as yet. But I'm considering of moving here, since my apartment has a very toxic landlord." Minato smiled weakly as he gestured to his left leg.
The male winced at this. "Damn, that must suck. What happened, if you don't mind me asking?"
"Kagari-san, you shouldn't ask blunt questions like that." Miya said sternly as she entered the room, holding a few large trays of food before setting them down onto the table. "There are reasons why some things are personal."
"Don't worry, Miya-san, it's an innocent question." Minato smiled wryly, before turning to the now identified Kagari. "My landlord discovered my mother works with MBI and tried to increase my rent. I refused, so he used that to fuel his frustration. Later that night, he came into my apartment and "taught" me a lesson for defying him by breaking my leg. This was two months ago."
Miya and Kagari winced at this, frowns appearing on their faces.
"This guy sounds like a real scumbag. Want me to go with you to crush his balls for you?" A new voice asked, making Minato turn around.
And when he turned around, his eyes widened comically as his face turned red. The cause was due to a girl standing at the entrance to the room, wearing only white panties and leaving her large breasts on display. Like Kagari and Miya, a small frown was on her face, her dark brown eyes narrowed a little after she heard Minato's story. She had long, dark brown hair with some of it tied into a side pony tail.
"Uzume-san… what did I say about your lack of modesty in the inn?" Miya smiled with closed eyes at Uzume, making said girl blink owlishly as she looked down at her lack of clothes.
Giggling sheepishly, which made her large bust jiggle freely, much to the ronin's chagrin, she turned and left quickly. After a few minutes, she returned back down, wearing a form-fitting pink and violet shirt with a golden star on the front and capri jeans that hugged her hips.
"Sorry Miya, I was half asleep when I came down, but woke up when I heard his tale." Uzume replied sheepishly, her face contorting into a frown as she finished. "But as we finish eating, I'll escort him home and help with packing."
Minato chuckled a little nervously at this. "You don't need to do that, Uzume-san. Besides, my mother said she was going to send someone to help with packing my stuff."
"And does your mother know you're here right now?" Miya asked curiously after swallowing a mouthful of the stew she made.
Minato shook his head to answer no. "She asked me to contact her as soon as I was home, and I did say I was out to clear my head."
"Seems like you're clearing it and filling your stomach." Kagari chuckled wryly, causing the others to laugh at his joke.
After eating, Minato thanked Miya and left the inn. He contacted his mother an hour later after he reached his home, letting her know where he was. He was currently in his apartment, packing his clothes when he heard a knock on his door.
"Hello? Is this the home of Sahashi Minato-kun?" A female voice asked from the door.
"It is. The door is open. So you can come in." Minato called back, moving to stand as he left his bedroom and entered the living room.
The door opened and in stepped not one, not two, but three girls. The first one was a tall female with medium long brown hair. She had a long strand of hair poking from the top of her head and smooth braid tied in a ponytail. She wore a tight, black leather top that hugged her medium sized breasts, a black miniskirt, black stockings, a grey haori with a crest of a bird on it. She had black, fingerless gloves on her hands with the numbers 08 on them in white.
The second girl is a short, pink-haired girl with a side ponytail. She had dark pink coloured eyes. She had dark pink fingerless gloves and wore a kimono top with a sleeve missing, black gym shorts and pink boots.
The third and final girl had a gloomy aura around her. Her body was clad in grey bandages, some being loose enough to reveal multiple scars on her slender body. She wore a tattered black kimono and shin-high black boots.
"Are the ones my mother sent to help me?" Minato asked, looking at the three girls curiously.
"That would be correct, Minato-kun. I owe your mother a favour, so I'll be helping you. My name is Yume and these are Benitsubasa-chan and Haihane-chan." Yume smiled politely as she gestured to the irritated and gloomy girls respectively.
"They don't seem too happy being here…" Minato pointed out awkwardly.
"I would rather be training right now!" The pinkettes snapped, glaring at the sole male.
"I was busy watching a series…." Haihane said in a depressed tone.
"Oh? If you think I'm wasting your time, I could arrange it so that you can be training with Karasuba-chan~" Yume smiled at the two other girls, making them both pale in fear.
Minato could only blink as the two girls rushed past him and begun packing all his stuff into boxes at high speeds. He could only chuckle as he glanced back at Yume.
"Well, I'll apologize for this if it disturbed your day." He responded.
"Not a problem. Takami-sensei asked me to help and I obliged. She truly cares for you, and I can see why. Your kindness is amazing, especially to strangers you don't know in your own home." Yume smiled softly at him as she moved to help pack his things.
Unlike the two frightened girls, she made sure to pack his items in an organized manner. Minato blushed at her compliment as he moved back to his room to pack his clothes. What would have taken him many hours, was done within minutes. Mostly due to the scared girls packing at inhumane speeds. Just as they finished, there was banging on his door. This caused the three girls to look in confusion while Minato winced.
"SAHASHI! I TOLD YOU NO GIRLS ALLOWED HERE!" An old man roared after Minato opened the door. As soon as the three girls saw him, they could only describe him as a "old, ugly bastard".
Minato grimaced as he let his weight be supported by his crutches. "I know the rules, they're only here to help me pack my stuff. I'm leaving."
"And what about this month's rent?" The older male sneered at him.
"I refuse to pay it. Not after your stunt two months ago." Minato replied, glaring a little at him. "What you did costed me from being accepted in university."
"I don't give a damn about that, Sahashi! You refused to pay the full rent that month!"
"Full rent? You doubled it because you found out my mom was in MBI! That's no excused for you to double my rent!"
"That doesn't matter! I want this month's full rent, as well as last month's full rent!"
"You expect me to pay when you broke my leg!?"
This earned a punch to his face, making Minato gasp in pain as he fell to the ground. He whimpered in pain as his leg shot tremors through his body a second time that day.
"I'll do more than break you- urk!" The landlord growled out, only for him to stop mid-sentence as a fist buried itself into his potbelly.
Yume was scowling heavily as she retracted her fist, something which made both Haihane and Benitsubasa wince. While they were also upset at what they witnessed, they were nervous as they had never seen such an expression on their leader's face.
"You're a disgusting man. I'll be informing Takami-sensei of this." Yume frowned heavily, before turning to look at Minato in concern. She then offered a hand to the ronin, her eyes showing her worry. "Are you alright, Minato-kun?"
Taking the offered hand, he allowed himself to be pulled up. He was a little surprised at how effortlessly he was pulled up by a girl who had less muscle mass than him. "I've been worse." He chuckled with a grimace.
What he didn't notice was Yume's eyes widening in shock, her heart beating powerfully throughout her body as her cheeks turned pink. The two other girls widened their eyes as they saw Yume's expression.
"No ways… she's reacting to him!?" Benitsubasa gasped out.
"This should be interesting…" Haihane agreed.
Clearing her throat, Yume let go of his hand and backed away slowly. "We should get you to the hospital Takami-sensei is at so she and the other doctors can examine your leg."
"Can we first drop my items at the place I'm moving to first?" Minato asked as he winced from the occasional throbs of pain his leg sent.
Yume took pity and nodded. With that said, they all went downstairs towards a black limo that was parked. Minato sweat dropped at this as the girls packed his possessions in the spacious boot. After entering, with some difficulty, Minato told the driver where to go before leaning against the soft leather of the seats. He groaned in pain as he gently rubbed his cheek, wincing a little.
Haihane and Benitsubasa didn't know what to say, except look at the Sahashi male with curiosity. Especially when their leader was seated as close as possible to Minato, gently rubbing his arm to help soothe the pain he was in. A short while, she shook her head when she realized they had stopped at Maison Izumo.
'What are the chances…?'
Miya was busy sweeping the porch when she looked up to see the limo parked outside her gate. Frowning a little, she paused her sweeping when she saw the two junior members of Disciplinary Force exit and begin to deposit numerous boxes by her front step silently. It was at this time that Yume climbed out, helping Minato before heading to Miya with a neutral expression.
"Miya-san…"
"Yume-san…"
The two stared at each other neutrally, before Miya's gaze fell upon Minato, gasping as she saw his bruised face.
"My goodness! Minato-san, what happened to your face!?"
"His former landlord punched him when he refused to pay for this month's rent." Benitsubasa explained for them, not knowing to whom she was speaking to.
"He also refused to pay the other half of last month's rent, so the ugly bastard punched him…" Haihane added.
Miya frowned heavily at this.
"Don't worry, Miya-san. I've had worse injuries." He smiled ruefully. "I'm sorry to ask you this, but could you see to it that my stuff is delivered to my room? I have to go to the hospital to check on my leg."
Miya smiled softly as she shook her head. "I'll have Kagari-san and Uzume-san help take it inside. You do take care and hopefully I'll see you by dinner."
Minato smiled back, bowing before his new landlady and turning back to the limo slowly. He was escorted by Haihane and Benitsubasa while Yume remained behind. This caused Miya to turn her features back to neutral.
"I'm reacting to him, Miya-san. I'm going to explain to Takami-sensei before I decide to see if I should let myself be Winged." Yume explained.
"Oh? Well I can be at least glad that it's a kind-hearted person." Miya smiled softly, making Yume blush.
"I'll try and make sure he doesn't meet Karasuba-chan."
With that, Yume turned to walk to the limo, only to stop and widen her eyes when she heard what Miya said next.
"I think I'm also reacting to him. Just don't say anything, I don't want his life to be put in danger."
With that said, Yume nodded in agreement before heading back to the limo.
Minato was sleeping on the hospital bed, while a stern, white-haired woman wearing a white lab coat was watching his sleeping form. Sighing, she sat down on the nearby stool while rubbing her features. She was relieved that no extra damage was done to his mending leg, but she was both furious and concerned. Furious to the landlord who dared injure her son further, and concerned when she found out that the Sekirei of Fate was reacting to him. The last thing she wanted was for her son to be brought in to the Sekirei Plan, but seeing as how someone as powerful as Yume was reacting to him, despite not being a Ashikabi yet, meant that many Sekirei would be attracted to him.
Hearing a polite knocking on the door, Takami frowned as she stood up and went to the door and opened it. She would blink as she saw two girls outside the door. To the right, was Yume, and to the left, was a shorter girl who looked identical to her that she could be Yume's younger twin. Though the differences were the clothes the younger one wore, and her much larger bust. She wore a white gi with red strings decorating it, making it resemble the traditional clothing a miko wears. Additionally, she also wore a short red skirt, mid-calf brown boots, thigh-high white stockings and red combat fingerless gloves.
"Yume? Musubi? What are you both doing here?" Takami asked, looking at the two identical Sekirei curiously.
"I wanted to say goodbye before I go out to meet my Ashikabi-sama!" Musubi smiled as she bounced on the soles of her shoes, looking like an enthusiastic girl about to get her birthday presents.
"Musubi-chan asked where to find you, so I brought here. I hope that wasn't an issue, Takami-sensei?" Yume added, smiling softly at her younger look-alike.
Takami shook her head, an amused smile appearing on her lips. "No, it isn't. I wish you luck on your search, Musubi."
Before anything more could be said, a groan could be heard from behind Takami. All three women blinked before turning to see Minato sitting up in the bed, rubbing his head gingerly. As soon as Musubi saw him, she collapsed to her knees and begun panting hard as her face was flushed, her eyes glazed over. This caused Yume to gasp in concern and Takami to only groan in despair at this. However, she would take note that Musubi's state was the most drastic reaction she has ever seen.
Yume looked up at Takami in concern. "This is the most powerful reaction I have ever seen. There's no doubt this is Musubi's Ashikabi."
"I know… I was hoping into not letting my son get involved, but there's no stopping it now seeing how Musubi is reacting." Takami grimaced as she turned to walk to her son's side. "Minato, there's a lot of things I need to tell you before you can leave."
With that said, Takami told Minato all about the Sekirei Plan that she could divulge. All about Sekirei and their destined partners, the Ashikabi. Minato closed his eyes after his mother finished, rubbing his face.
"So, what you told me is that there are aliens called Sekirei that look like humans, but have special abilities that exist. And that only certain people can be Ashikabis and that there is a battle royal where the winner can be granted any wish they desire?" Minato asked, which made both his mother and Yume to nod their heads. "And that a Sekirei and Ashikabi are partners?"
"Think of it as a marriage. That's what the bond between both Sekirei and Ashikabi is, Minato." His mother nodded, happy to know that his son was taking it in calmly.
"And the reason Musubi-chan there is panting like that is because she is reacting to me?" Another wave of nods. "But why me? I'm not special and I don't want to force something like this."
"It's not like that, Minato-kun. We Sekirei only react to those who are compatible with us. It is destiny and fate that brings us to our chosen Ashikabi-sama." Yume explained to him with a soft smile. "And you will make a perfect Ashikabi! You might say you're not special, but that is false. You have a kind heart that is full of love."
Minato blushed at this, an action that made Musubi whimper in want while Yume blushed herself.
"In fact, I am also reacting to you."
With that being said, Minato's eyes would widen. "But wouldn't that mean I'll be cheating? I don't want to be in a relationship where I have to choose one over the other!"
Yume's blush grew more, smiling as she unconsciously rubbed her thighs together, an action that Takami didn't miss.
"We Sekirei are a polygamous race. An Ashikabi can hold many Sekirei. Even if you have a human lover, we Sekirei are a race of love. And I can tell your heart is big enough to love many equally." Yume smiled more.
Minato sighed as he looked at his mother, who shrugged. He then turned to look at the Sekirei of Fate. "Can you give me some time before I make my final answer?" He asked.
Understanding his confliction, Yume smiled softly as she nodded. "Take your time to think carefully, Minato-kun. I'll keep Musubi-chan here in the meantime."
With that, Yume helped Musubi to her feet and guided her out of the room. Takami would smile softly at her son, feeling proud of him. She would then notice that there was a small puddle of fluids on the floor where Musubi was, her eyes widening.
"I don't really like this, Kaa-chan. I don't want to look like a pervert or someone who takes advantage." Minato said, breaking his mother's trance. Said mother looked back and smiled softly.
"I'm proud of you, Minato. Many would jump to be in your shoes, but you are thinking responsibly." Takami said as she sat on the chair and looked her son dead in the eyes. "Normally, I don't want you to be involved in this, but seeing how poor Musubi was reacting, there's a chance you might run into one of the Sekirei out there exploring the city, where they will Wing themselves to you. I know it's a lot to take in, but think carefully about it and call me when you make a decision."
With that said, Takami helped her son to his feet and led him out to the main entrance of the hospital, both not noticing another figure outside the door. This figure was a woman with silver-grey hair, wearing similar clothes to Yume and carrying a katana at her hips. A smirk appeared on her face as her bloodlust eyes gazed at the currently crippled male with interest, her heart beating hard in her chest.
By the time Minato returned to Maison Izumo, it was nearly midnight. Miya showed him to his room where all of his possessions were packed neatly. After bidding him a goodnight, she closed his door and went downstairs to make a pot of herbal tea. Half an hour later, Uzume, Kagari and a third woman came down the stairs and sat at the table, having been summoned there. This woman had long orange hair with two braids on either side of her body and orange eyes. She wore a white dress with detachable sleeves, the dress having open slits up to her hips on either side. Round glasses completed her look.
"So why the summons, Miya-tan?" The orange haired woman asked, sipping the tea that the landlady gave to all three of them.
"It is do with our latest tenant, Sahashi Minato-san." Miya explained slowly. "I believe I am reacting to him."
This caused all three Sekirei to gasp at this, realizing the implications this newfound knowledge had.
"But that shouldn't be possible, Miya-tan. Mina-tan isn't a Ashikabi yet, so how can you, of all people, react to him?" The woman asked, trying to get more answers.
"I do not understand, Matsu-san, but all I know is that I am. And when I spoke to Yume-san earlier today, I found out that she too is reacting to him." Miya answered.
"Yume? Then that means there are two single Numbers reacting to unclaimed Ashikabi." Kagari said with a frown as he rubbed his chin.
"I also reacted to him…" Uzume said with a small voice.
"Eh? But what about the girl from Higa's hospital?" Matsu asked, turning to look at the brunette.
"Minato-kun had a stronger aura than Chiho. If Chiho wasn't so deathly ill, or stuck in that bastard's hospital, I would have let her Wing me." Uzume explained.
"Hmm…. It would seem Minato-san is special if he is this powerful. I wouldn't be surprised if he is able to Wing all the single Numbers. With the exception of Mutsu-san, who has an Ashikabi already." Miya mused.
There was a long pause of silence as everyone drank in this information. After a few minutes, Matsu looked at Miya with a serious expression.
"Then what will you do, Miya-tan? If Minaka finds out you are reacting to Mina-tan, then he might try to put pressure onto you by making the other Ashikabis try and forcefully Wing you."
"If anyone tries, I will personally show them why I am #01." Miya smiled sweetly, a purple aura surrounding her body as a ghastly Oni mask appeared out of nowhere. This action made the other three shiver in fear as they knew exactly how powerful Miya was when she was serious, Matsu especially. "I will examine Minato-san to find out what makes him tick. If he proves to be different, I might let him be my Ashikabi. If he is similar to the Ashikabis of the South and East respectively, I will not allow myself to be Winged."
"You'll really let yourself be Winged, Miya? Even with what happened…" Uzume trailed off, looking at her leader softly.
Miya's expression softened. "It's what he would want. He believed in the same thing as Yume-san. If he were still here, he would have stopped Minaka and might have encouraged me to allow it."
As the four Sekirei were discussing downstairs, Minato was tossing in his sleep, many girls flashing in his dreamscape, which included Miya, Uzume, Yume and Musubi. While he was aware he was dreaming, he was going to make his decision the next day.
The next day, Minato was sitting awkwardly at the table as he, Miya and Uzume were eating breakfast. Glancing at the two women, he noted that they were eating slower than normal. He then gazed at the empty seat where he knew Kagari had seated.
"Ano, Miya-san? Where is Kagari-san?" Minato asked, looking at the purple-haired woman.
"Oh, Kagari-san is at his job. He works late at night all the to late afternoon." Miya answered him, taking a sip of her tea.
Sighing a little, Minato decided to cut to the chase. "How much do you both know of the Sekirei Plan?"
Miya almost choked on her tea, not expecting to him be aware of the game that Minaka was in charge of. Uzume, however, wasn't so well received when she choked a little on her rice. After a few minutes of awkward silence, Miya placed her chopsticks down and gazed at Minato.
"I know enough. As does Uzume-san. Why do you ask?" Miya interrogated him in a gentle manner.
"My mother explained it to me when a Sekirei reacted badly to me last night." Minato answered.
"Reacted badly? What do you mean?" Uzume asked curiously.
"She, uh… collapsed to the floor and was panting as if she ran a marathon from start to end at full sprint." Minato explained while rubbing his cheek while he blushed.
The blush caused Uzume to unconsciously rub her thighs together as her heart skipped a beat and her cheeks flushed. Miya only felt her heart beat harder than normal.
"I see… and did you Wing her?" Miya asked with a neutral expression.
Minato shook his head at this, causing both women to widen their eyes in surprise. "No, I felt a little uncomfortable when I first learned about it. Even more so when I found out that one Ashikabi can have many Sekirei."
"I must admit, I am surprised. Very few people would do what you did last night. So few, I can count on one hand." Miya declared, looking at him curiously.
"Kaa-chan said something similar to that." Minato chuckled ruefully, his smile having no humor. "But what made me uncomfortable is that this… game… is forcing Sekirei to fight to the death. I don't to be in a position where I'm forced to watch helplessly from the side-lines as my potential lover, or lovers, fight to the point they can be killed."
The sad and pained expression Minato had after he said this caused Uzume to start to pant a little. Even Miya found her heart beating faster when she saw the worry and concern Minato had.
"If you were to become an Ashikabi, what would you do?" Miya asked, her expression serious as she tried to calm down her heart. His answer will decide her future.
"I would try and stop it. I don't see any benefits in a battle royal where lovers meet, only to be separated." Minato answered honestly without hesitation. "In fact, I plan on letting my mother know that I will be joining, only so I can try and stop this madness."
Miya smiled, closing her eyes. She placed her right hand on Uzume's thigh, stopping her from jumping the young ronin. This caused the female to whine a little. She would then get up and sit next to Minato, making him face her.
"Takehito-san would be happy to hear those words. I know for a fact that he would encourage this where he still alive today." With that said, Miya leaned forward and pressed her lips gently against Minato's own lips, making his eyes widen in shock.
Purple wings of light would appear on Miya's back, extending around her and embracing Minato. After a minute, she parted from him with a small smile, though her eyes full of determination.
"By the power of my contract, I shall lead my Ashikabi to a bright future. Sekirei #01, Miya, ready to serve my Ashikabi's desires. Now, and forever."
With that said, she would move back a little as Uzume sat down in front of him, kissing him more deeply than Miya, her eyes glazed with want and desire. Like Miya, wings of light, white in colour this time, burst from her back. Parting with a moan, one that made Miya blush a little while Minato's face to turn a darker shade of red.
"By the veil of my contract, my Ashikabi's nightmares will be dispelled! Sekirei #10, Uzume, ready to serve my Ashikabi's desires. Now, and forever."
Minato could only blink while blushing. Not knowing what to say, he closed his eyes. "Wow…"
Alarms were blaring in the main control room of the MBI headquarters as a Stage 5 warning was flashing on the screens. Hiroto Minaka was setting at his desk, wearing an all-white wardrobe that consisted of long-sleeved shirt, long pants and cape. His normal mad-joy expression was gone, as a rare and serious expression coated his face. His eyes were hidden by the gleam in his glasses as he rests his chin on top of his interlocked fingers as he gazed at the screen. What he saw confirmed one of his worst fears.
Sekirei #01, the Pillar Sekirei, Miya, had been Winged. By none other than his own son, Sahashi Minato.
Takami was groaning as she rubbed her forehead, feeling a migraine building. The stress became so much, she was forced to sit down as she tried to force her despair back. Yume was standing next to Takami, surprised that Miya had indeed been winged. Karasuba, the grey-haired Sekirei who watched Minato and Takami leaving the hospital the previous night, was grinning like lunatic, bloodlust rolling off her body in waves. It was Minaka who broke the silence after the alarms finally stopped.
"Well, this is interesting."
No later had he said this, the screen that depicted Minato suddenly updated, revealing that he had Winged Sekirei #10 a minute later.
*END OF CHAPTER*
An end to a chapter of a new story, I hope you guys will enjoy this. As you can see, I changed quite a few things. First, Yume is still around, and there will be a reason to that. Karasuba, Haihane and Benitsubasa have yet to be Winged, as well Uzume. There will also be a reason to why Miya reacted, and to how she was able to be Winged, despite her status as a Pillar Sekirei. The same reason will be explained to why a single Number was able to react despite Minato not being a Ashikabi yet. And as you can see, I also changed the reason to why Minato failed a second time at the university. Do expect other changes to the story as well. You have received a new story by MR. DEATH RIDER, have a good day.
