Hey, hey, hello. Happy new year, so I'm working on my 500 words project to write on all of my stories and update, and this is the third chapter I start so I'm kind of just wasting words to get through it.

"So are you looking forward to it?" Lex asked me when she had come over the night before school started at January the seventh. "I mean… coming over to stay at ours next Tuesday." I nodded. "So what are we going to do then? Stay up all night and watch scary movies, eat pizza, and drive my parents crazy?" I laughed- scary movies we were done with, pizzas not so much but I hesitated there was anything that could drive her parents crazy.

"Maybe we should go and talk with my parents!" I suggested. "I think yours are going to be here any minute." I stood up and Ariel jumped down from the bed and followed me out of my room where dad stood in the hallway and fixed with his tie. "Dad… you're not going to a bank meeting! Burt and Carole are just regular people, they're nice and you've met them before. Drop the tie, the blazer and take that blue pullover I gave you instead. You look good in that one." I eyed dad up and down. "And unbutton the top button so you don't get choked or look like a priest."

"I am a priest!"

"I know, and so do they!" I sighed. "And that doesn't mean you have to look like one!" I took his blazer and tie. Got the pullover I had given him for his birthday a few years ago. "Here." I held it open and pulled it over his head and his hands. "See, now you're more normal- and handsome!" Dad chuckled and shook his head while starting to fix with his collar. "Dad it's fine! You meet new people all the time!"

"Not anyone who's supposed to take care of my children for over a week." Dad looked like a sad puppy, but laughed when I sighed at him. "Come on! I don't worry for Jonah, I worry for you! You're my baby!" I just shook my head at him again. "Okay, now I'm going to try and not screw this up, I know that if I do, you'll have to stay at your grandparents' and I don't want that. Now maybe you could try and not screw up either." There was a knock on the door, and since it were her parents Lex went to get it.

"Would I screw up?" I and dad followed Lex slower.

"Oh come on you two!" She stated as she reached for the door. "We're talking about the people who took me in here! If they could handle me without hesitating! Then you're no match for them!" I and dad looked to each other, nodded agreeing and then went to walk out in the hallway and meet the dinner guests.

"Hey guys." I greeted while dad- even though he had met them before went to shake Burt and Carole's hands and I grabbed Ariel's collar to hold her away for a bit- even though Ariel was getting too big and strong for me to hold her like this. And I was grateful when Carole kneeled to greet Ariel too so I wouldn't have to hold her for the moment.

"Oh, oh okay. That's enough with the kissing! Come on Ariel that's enough!" I laughed at Carole and stepped over to pull away Ariel from her and picked her up while Carole- laughing and wiping away the dog's saliva from her cheeks stood up again. "Yuk! Oh, now I remember why we never got a new dog after Christopher's Bear!"

"What are you talking about?" I scratched behind Ariel's ear and pressed down on her back so that she would lie and calm down. "Hmm… maybe we should fix so someone else could take Ariel while mum and dad are away!" I raised an eyebrow at Carole only so she would understand that my statement was actually a question.

"Oh no, oh no! No we'd love to have her at ours too" Carole kneeled again and scratched on top of Ariel's head, even though she was keeping away her head and face so that Ariel couldn't start licking again. "I'm sure I'll manage to learn how to keep you away from me too." She stood up again and shook hands with my mother and then did some silly high- five- thingy with Jonah.

"So now." Dad said as we were walking towards the kitchen. "Well… Leah and Jonah coming to stay at yours when I and Edna go to New York… Maybe… Leah, Lex! Maybe we could talk a bit on our own for a start." I and Lex went into the kitchen to get food for ourselves and then went into my room with it all where I sat down on my bed again and Lex on my desk chair and for a moment we didn't speak.

"What is it Leah?" Lex asked. "You're so quiet!" I flinched and almost dropped my plate. "Okay! There really is something with you! What is it?" I shrugged. "Come on. We're friends! You can tell me!" I sighed, and wondered for a bit about how to express myself on this.

"It's a bit silly actually!" I stated. "But I just feel like this whole thing with that I and Jonah are staying at yours it really feels like we are barging into you and your family's lives after all…. I didn't mean for Carole to hear when I told you about my grandparents because I knew that if she did this was going to happen and… I mean… well at least I didn't hear her asking your dad about it and are you sure he's okay with it and that it's not just her deciding that this whole thing was going to happen without caring about what anyone else thought?"

To my surprise Lex threw her head backwards and laughed loudly. "I- I'm sorry Leah I didn't mean to laugh at this only… I know my parents so well by now that to me it's so clear. Leigh- if my mother didn't want to help you in this she would never have asked about that if you wanted to stay at ours instead of with your grandparents. Believe me! She knew that if she wouldn't want to take you in then she wouldn't have said you could come and stay at ours. And besides, because Kurt and Finn are both at school in New York we have got rooms empty and everything, nor mum neither my dad minds. I promise!"

I nodded and turned back to my food. "Your mother makes really good turkey!" Lex stated and I couldn't do else than agree. "Do you think she'll share the recipe so we can try and make it when you're staying?" I laughed. Me cook? I couldn't even boil an egg without messing it up. "Well, then… I can cook!"

"There's no recipe! You just take a bit of whatever you have at home and make a stew from it. And since Christmas already was, we had turkey, and sweet potato and Brussel sprouts and a bunch of other things that mum just mixed together and made something of. What is it Lex? You just said it was good!"

"This is Brussel sprouts?" She held up something on her for and I leaned forward to get a bit of a closer look at it and nodded. "But it can't be that! Brussel sprouts are disgusting and this…" She tasted it. "Is good!" I laughed and shook my head. "By the way! That is totally something we should try when you're staying or at least at some sleepover some time. Just gather whatever we can find and make something of it… and if you can't cook we should make it with like… ice cream and sprinklers and whatever else we can find!"

"Yeah totally!" I agreed. "I mean food is for experimenting right? And if it ends up with something like when Jonah tried mixing milk and lemon… then I guess there's always another try!" Lex nodded agreeing, and soon we were in a lively discussion about what we would try and have on our ice cream- and ended up with a list of about thirty different things with everything from Cheetos to peaches.

"See you tomorrow then Lex!" I said when Carole came to tell Lex they were leaving and bring her with them. "I heard that Mr. Schue fixes so the new directions raise money for something after the Christmas holidays every year!" Lex nodded. "I wonder what he's got planned for this year. What was it last year?"

"Alice's brother was missing. So we raised money for the police's fund in search for missing children, and on the stage we were showing big pictures of Josh and things." I nodded. Mr. Schue was for certain a very kind and selfless person! "See you Leah."

"So…" The next day when Mr. Schue came into the choir room he didn't even greet us before he started. "…I have decided what we will do for that money raising concert this year. As you might remember last year Alice's brother Josh was missing, and then we had a concert to raise money for the police's work to find missing children. I don't remember exactly how much we raised now but it was loads and the last week of the holidays I have been calling around to setting up everything and then I had a call from another place who wanted us to come there… so these next two weeks we will be working for the concert. And next Friday…. Patients from the children's hospital here in Lima and their families will come here to McKinley and we will hold a fundraising for them."

Jonah cheered so loud I thought he'd have another attack- after the one he had had in the morning. And I almost expected him to start jumping around and turn cartwheels or something. He had been at the children's ward at the hospital so many times he would know better than anyone else how much good a concert like this would make.

"Yeah I understood he would like that. Jonah can you be quiet so I can continue?" Jonah silent but was still jumping on his chair. "And another thing I will do for this theme is together we will all gather children's toys and whatever we can think of. And then I can take up to five of you and we will go to the children's ward with it."

At this point Jonah's cheers were so loud I almost expected him to go through the ceiling. "Mr. Schue, Oh Mr. Schue! Oh Mr. Schue! Oh Mr. Schue!" He was almost jumping on his chair and when I remembered the bucket list Jonah had told me a while ago I could see why. "Mr. Schue I have this bucket list with five things, and I've already done the first thing. The second is to gather a whole lot of toys and books and go to the children's ward with it. Please, please can I come with you, please, please, please?"

"Anyone have got anything against that?" Mr. Schue spoke up again and looked around, but no one said anything. "Then yes, Jonah. You can come. So I can take four others. Can anyone who wants to come raise their… seriously? Are there exactly four people who wants to come?" Except for Jonah, now I, Ben, Lex and Aiden. "Well, then I guess you five are coming with me. How about on Sunday?"

Somehow it was so decided that we would instead go next Tuesday evening, and then Mr. Schue continued "The next week's Sunday, I mean the week after we have had that concert we will go to a prison called… Johnsdale…" He talked slower and looked up when he realized something. "Oh shoot, Lex! I'm so sorry they called me and asked us to…"

"It's okay." Lex interrupted. "Really Mr. Schue. It's alright!" Mr. Schue sighed and scratched his neck. "Look! If it bothers you that much I'll just stay at home." Mr. Schue nodded and seemed to decide to just move on and tell us what would happen next.

"Friday, February the ninth, Sean's mum- Mrs. Moraiety is getting married to her Curtis. And Sean have asked me for his mother to if we can sing at the wedding and as you probably understand a wedding day is a very big and important day so I have decided we will be doing songs and rehearse for that during two weeks, so we have got the next five weeks planned. Two weeks for the children's hospital, one for the prison and then two weeks for the wedding for Eliza Moraiety and Curtis Leigh."

"And after that?" Jonah asked.

"After that I haven't got anything more planned actually!" Mr. Schue smirked at Jonah's question. "And so shall it stay because I will keep them open and so if I have an idea about something that is right for the moment or something I'll put that then. And I'm sure that whatever we end up with everyone will be happy with it. But now I want you all to talk to each other and try to come up with songs that we could do for the concert for the children."

We started talking, and so minutes turned into an hour, an hour turned into more and a few days passed by. The day I and Jonah would have to stay at the Hudmel's only ticked closer and closer and closer. Which would also be the day that I, Jonah, Lex, Aiden, Ben and Mr. Schue would go to the Children's ward at the hospital with all of those toys and books and things, and at Friday afternoon the whole glee club met up at the toy store in town to get things for it.

Jonah had decided to be in a wheelchair again today, maybe for the best since he probably couldn't take walking around those shelves- or around anything for the time it would take. But he wasn't going to let it break him down and happily looked around sitting in his chair that I was pushing and pointing on yet one thing that he thought the children's ward needed.

"Emil and his clever pig by Astrid Lindgren." Jonah read out loud from the title of the book. "This was like my favorite book when I was little and I was always so angry they didn't have it at the hospital." Mr. Schue pushed the wagon closer and Jonah threw the book in just as Moa came in and saw the book he threw in.

"Oh. Astrid was Swedish! All of her books were awesome."

"Was?" Jonah looked up, and I had to laugh- sometimes he was just too slow.

"Yeah she died years and years ago." Moa continued and grabbed a book about Pippi Longstocking. "This was my favorite. Let's take that one too." She threw it in the basket and we continued to walk around the store throwing in anything from books to huge stuffed snakes to small plastic horses and cows. And the best part was that Teeghan's dad and his company was paying for it all so we didn't need to give one dollar for it.

"So how come you all decided that you wanted to be a part of this and come with me to the children's hospital." After we had come out of the store I, Jonah, Lex, Aiden, Ben and Mr. Schue sat in the back of Mr. Schue's van talking about what would happen when we went to the children's hospital on Tuesday.

"Well… I've been there quite few times so I figured I'd give a bit back." Jonah stated. "And that reason's no surprise I guess. And I guess Leah's been there almost as many times as I have so, that's kind of her reason." I nodded, and Mr. Schue looked to the others.

"I just want to give something back! If you get what I mean!" Ben and Lex said at the exact same time and then started laughing. "Well…" Ben continued. "Aiden you must too have been there quite a bit with your hand right?" Aiden nodded and scratched the hand of his that missed a one finger- he must have gone through a number of surgeries for scars and whatever.

Suddenly I heard Jonah cough next to me, and even though I knew it would happen at about any time I felt so scared when I took the spray bottle he handed me and sprayed the fluid under his tongue, but calmed down slightly when I heard his breaths calm down again and he rested his head backwards against the top of the seat and as soon as I had waited long enough to be sure it wasn't happening right away again I stepped out of the car and walked down the parking lot where I sat down on the sidewalk where the others couldn't see me and put my head in my hands.

"Are you okay?" I looked up again when I heard Lex talk to me and nodded while she came and sat down next to me "You sure? Jonah gets those attacks every once in a whole and, you usually aren't so messed up about it!" I sighed and laid my elbows towards my knees and looked up. "There is something Leah. I can see it is."

"I just have this weirdest feeling!" I said at last. "That something is going to go wrong, and it gets worse every time something happens to Jonah and every time I think about how we're going to stay at yours. It's like something is trying to tell me that during the time we're going to stay at yours something is going to happen to Jonah. And it's so annoying!"

"I'm sure everything will be fine Leah." Lex turned a bit. "And you know that if anything happens then your dad said that you only need to call and they'll catch the first plane. My mum's a nurse and we're still going to be in school most part of the days so that's going to be the same!" I nodded. "Don't worry! I'm sure everything will be just fine."

I wish I had been able to believe Lex, but that stupid feeling that something were to go wrong while we were staying at hers didn't leave me alone. And it kept on bothering me all the while until the Tuesday when my parents and Jonah drove to the Hudmel's first with the bags and Jonah. Then mum and dad left while I and Lex walked there to get Ariel out for a walk.

"So are you ready?" Lex asked while she backed up on the porch steps. And I tried to seem more secure than what I actually was.

"Ready!"

And cut! So this chapter is finished at well. Four chapters down, six to go until I have updated all of my stories in the new year.
