Chapter 26
Outside Lars Café
Michael and Sven watch as the police car approaches and parks near the cafe and four policemen jump out of the car. Michael can see that the four officers are armed with powerful pulse rifles and they are very similar to the weapons that the marines in the movie Aliens used and Michael can't help but say one of the lines from the movie
- Let's rock!
Sven hears what Michael is saying but he doesn't understand why he is saying it and looks a little confused. The four cops approach the Alien Queen and they have their guns pointed at her. The alien queen has stopped and it seems that she is standing and looking at the four policemen and their weapons. The alien queen starts to hiss loudly and the sound can be heard all the way to Michael and Sven but the people inside the cafe cannot hear the sound. The policeman leading the squad gives the order to shoot the Alien queen.
The four cops start firing at the Alien Queen at the same time and most of the sharp shots bounce off her hard beetle-like skin but some of them make small holes in her large chest and yellow blood splashes out from the holes onto the ground. The alien queen makes loud screeching and roaring noises and the sound bounces between the nearby buildings and mixes with the harsh sound of the pulse rifles. The sounds are so loud and intense that it hurts Michael and Svens ears and they choose to go back into the cafe where the sounds are not so loud. Lots of curious people have gathered at the glass entrance to the cafe and Sven and Michael have to push their way to get in. The cops keep shooting at the Alien Queen and they manage to make several small holes in her chest and more yellow blood drips onto the ground in front of and next to her.
But suddenly the Alien Queen grabs the cops car and she uses her four arms and lifts their car up and she throws it across the street and two of the cops have to jump out of the way so they don't get hit by the car. The Alien Queen begins to approach the two cops and Michael sees that they are caught in a trap and he decides to help them and opens the cafe's glass entrance and runs to the Alien Queen and the two cops. Sven sees what is happening and runs after Michael. The alien queen roars at the two cops and they back away with their guns pointed at her but the cops approach a wall and they can't move to the sides and they realize they are caught in a trap. There is drool and yellow blood dripping from the Alien queen and some of the yellow blood lands on one of the policemen's arm and the fabric of the uniform immediately begins to smoke and the yellow blood quickly corrodes the fabric of the policeman's uniform and it continues to corrode the skin and bones which is just under the skin and the police screams in pain. The alien queen uses one of her arms and picks up the screaming cop and brings him to her jaw.
The Alien Queen has her tail and anus pointed at Michael as he comes running and Michael sees a new egg start to push out from the large anus but he continues to run until he is in front of the Alien Queen and he calls out to her.
- Hey! Calm down. Let go of the police.
The alien queen stops hissing and screaming when she hears Michael's voice and notices that he is standing in front of her but she still holds the cop's body in a tight grip and he moans weakly. Michael reaches for the cop's body and starts to pull the Alien Queen's hand and she starts to hiss at him but Michael raises his voice.
- Drop him. Let him be.
The Alien Queen appears to stare at Michael for a few seconds but then she drops the cop on the ground and he seems very grateful for that. Michael turns to face the other cop.
- Lower your weapon. She feels threatened. You definitely don't want to make her angrier.
The cop looks at Michael like he's totally crazy but lowers his gun as he notices that this person manages to calm down the Alien Queen and also made sure she released his colleague. Meanwhile, the other two cops approach the Alien Queen from behind and they can see an egg protruding from her anus. The egg lands on the ground behind the Alien Queen and one of the two cops immediately blasts the egg with his pulse rifle and it sprays yellow blood from the facehugger and lots of transparent slime. The alien queen roars with rage as she realizes what is happening and she twists her head back and forth as if in agony at her offspring being killed. Michael looks up at the Alien Queen and raises his voice again.
- Focus on me. You will lay more eggs.
The alien queen continues to roar with rage but silences when Michael makes the sign that means he wants to pet her large crowned head and she lowers her head towards him. Two of the Alien warriors who are standing behind the Alien queen saw when the police shot the egg and they approach the police but the two police are quick and kill the two Alien warriors. They are easier to kill because they are much smaller than the Alien Queen and their yellow blood splashes everywhere. Sven has come up to MIchael and is standing next to him and he watches as the Alien Queen lowers her head so Michael can pet it.
The two policemen standing in front of the Alien Queen naturally wonder who MIchael is and how he can control the Alien Queen and the policeman who has been injured by the yellow blood from the Alien Queen suddenly recognizes MIchael from the surveillance cameras from Kungsträdgården. It was this person who placed all the eggs in the big park the previous day and he understands that Michael must have met the Alien Queen many times. The police react to Michael's body being covered in slime and he wonders why it is but he guesses that the slime must be from the Alien queen. The other officer who is not injured also reacts to Michael's body being soaked in slime but he has not seen the footage from the surveillance cameras at Kungsträdgården so he does not know that it was Michael who placed the eggs the previous day. The officer who is injured looks at their wrecked car and realizes that he needs to call the station and ask them to send a picket bus to accommodate all the officers and this person.
The Alien warriors who walked in front of the Alien queen notice that something has happened and they approach the Alien queen and the police. The policemen standing behind the Alien queen shoot their pulse rifles at the Alien warriors and two of them die and the rest of them retreat. The alien queen screams loudly as she sees her warrios being killed without mercy. Michael wants to stop the cops but he doesn't know how, so he keeps patting the Alien Queen's crowned head.
Skeppsholmen
Hulda has eaten the whole split honeydew melon and she feels very full and satisfied and she sits looking out at the sparkling water and thinks of her future child. How fun it will be when it is born. Hulda has chosen not to know the gender of the child, but she wants it to be a surprise for her and her husband. Hulda's husband works at a car museum and he is on his way to a big car show and won't be home until the next day,
The chestburster in Hulda's chest is fully grown and because it is so big and the chest is tight, the chestburster starts to push down the baby's amniotic sac so that it ends up lower and Hulda feels the baby move as the amniotic sac is pushed down through her body but she also feels that her breasts feel abnormally heavy. Hulda thinks that the breasts may contain a lot of milk and that is why they are so heavy. Hulda looks out at the water and then at her watch. It seems that the ferry that runs between Skeppsholmen and Gröna lund is heavily delayed, but she is not really in a hurry to get to Skansen, she just doesn't like to wait.
The chestburster makes a quick movement but Hulda thinks it's the unborn child who happens to kick her chest and she giggles. What a little bandit she has in her stomach. Hulda straightens her back so that she is sitting as straight as possible because she is starting to feel pain in her back due to the weight of the unborn child. Some little birds come flying and land right in front of Hulda and she smiles at them and gives them the empty melon shell. Hulda has heard that birds like this kind of melon shell and she likes to feed birds. The birds eat each part of the melon shell and they don't seem to fight about the food. Hulda gets up and starts walking back and forth. For some reason, she can no longer sit still on the bench,
Hulda feels a pressure down at the bottom which keeps getting bigger and finally there is an explosion and hot and slimy water flows out of the bottom and down into the panties and also the roomy jeans that she is wearing. Hulda immediately understands that the water has broken, but that shouldnt happen until about two weeks from now. Hulda knows that children can be born earlier than expected, but she has not felt the typical signs of it during the day and she feels that something is wrong. Hulda looks around and there is no one else at Skeppsholmen except for a woman sitting in the ticket window and a man with a food cart and she sighs quietly. There is no one who can drive her to the delivery if necessary. It's not very good. Hulda feels something starting to happen down at her bottom and it doesn't take long before she realizes that the cervix is about to open.
Suddenly there is a loud cracking sound from inside Hulda's chest and she gets terrible pain in her chest. It hurts so much that she almost sees lightning in front of her eyes and she can't scream but only hiss softly. The cracking sound continues and it sounds as if something is gnawing at Hulda's ribcage. At the same time, Hulda feels labor pains and she starts cramping and it doesn't take many seconds until she feels that the cervix has opened and blood drips from the back of her jeans and she can see them fall to the ground. The cracking sound stops and the pain in the chest goes away, but the labor pains quickly get worse. Hulda breathes the way she did the first time, like when she gave birth to her first child.
Hulda feels a strong movement in her chest and the movement is so strong that some milk seeps out from her nipples and the shirt she is wearing gets completely wet where the nipples are. This time it doesn't feel like the unborn child is kicking Hulda in the chest, but this movement is completely different and she wonders what is going on. Hulda looks out to sea and she can see the ferry approaching far away and she hopes that one of the passengers can drive her to the hospital's delivery room. A gnawing sound begins to be heard from Hulda's chest and it is a dull sound that seems to echo throughout her chest. Hulda presses one hand hard against her chest and the sound stops but it continues after a few seconds and it is more intense now.
Hulda feels another labor pain and she starts to writhe again and she imagines that the cervix is opening even more but she is not sure that it is so. The gnawing sound in the chest disappears as Hulda begins to cry. The labor pains disappear and Hulda stops writhing but her breasts are suddenly pushed out more than she thought possible and the milk spurts out of the two nipples but what really terrifies Hulda is the eel-like shape she sees through the skin on her chest. The shape pushes her chest out to the max and Hulda thinks it is shaped like a phallic and it makes her feel slightly embarrassed. The creature is drawn into the chest and disappears, but Hulda can feel how it is constantly moving and it almost feels like a freshly caught eel squirming around in a fishing net.
The labor pains start again and Hulda continues to writhe and after a short while she feels something starting to push out of the bottom and she understands that it must be the baby and she can also feel the blood running out of the bottom and soaking the jeans. Hulda takes off her jeans and stands by the bench, holding onto it. Hulda sees a man walking towards the parking lot and she shouts and waves her hands to get his attention. The man seems to hear Hulda and he approaches her. When the man comes closer, he looks at Hulda with raised eyebrows and it looks as if he is inspecting her body from head to toe. Hulda starts to talk to the man.
- Sorry. I am very pregnant and my baby has started to be born. Can you drive me to the maternity ward at the hospital?
The man looks at Hulda and shrugs his shoulders and starts to walk away from her.
- Sorry, No speak Swedish. Have a good day.
The man turns his back on Hulda and hurries away to his car. Hulda stammers her words.
- But but.. I,m i,m starting to give birth. Can't you drive me to the hospital?
The man opens his car door and gets in the car and starts the engine and drives off with screeching tires and Hulda gets really angry because it's obvious the man understood what she wanted and ignores her in this rude way. Hulda suspects that the man did not want her blood in the car, but he was still rude to her.
Hulda's breasts are pushed out again and she can once again see the eel-like form through the skin and even more milk spurts from the nipples. Hulda's shirt is completely wet from all the milk and the milk has started to drip from the bottom of the shirt and run down her bare legs. Hulda feels an enormous birth pain and it is significantly stronger than those she has felt before and she screams involuntarily because it hurts so much and she starts to writhe as much as she can.
The woman sitting in the ticket booth hears Hulda scream and she calls out to Hulda.
- Do you need help? Have you injured yourself?
Hulda shouts back.
- I'm giving birth. It would be great if you could call an ambulance.
- Oops. I will do that right away. Do you need help in any way in the meantime?
- I don't think so. The labor pains hurt so damn much so that's why I screamed.
- Oh okay. You can call out if you need any help.
The woman sitting in the ticket window immediately calls the ambulance and tells them what is happening. Meanwhile, Hulda continues to writhe and the cervix is fully open and the baby's head is fully visible and the baby is slowly pushed forward with each writhe. The ferry has come closer and some of the people standing out on the deck can see Hulda and they wonder at first why she has no pants but they soon realize that she is giving birth. Hulda can see that the ferry has come closer but she is busy writhing and breathing at regular intervals.
The chestburster in Hulda's chest moves without interruption and Hulda can feel its movements while she writhes. The chestburster is ready to be born, but it wants to get even more nutrition and it eats, among other things, on the now soft ribcage. The chestburster secretes an acid when it is ready to explode out of the chest, and the acid makes the bones in the chest become softer so that it is easier to push out through the chest. Since Hulda is pregnant and has a lot of milk in her breasts, the Chestburster has a bit more difficulty pushing out of this chest because it is so tight. The chestburster bites the soft parts of the breast and manages to make a hole where the milk is stored and it is flooded with the milk and it squirts into its open jaw. This milk is very nutritious and is almost like two human sacrifices. Hulda feels how the milk-hard breasts suddenly become flat and she immediately realizes that something serious has happened.
The labor pains come almost non-stop and Hulda writhes when they are at their strongest and the baby is pushed forward and she can see when it hangs under her bottom. Hulda would have liked to have given birth to her child in the maternity ward at the hospital and if she could have stopped this, she would have, but the child has already come so far that it is impossible to stop the birth now. Nature always wins and Hulda has only the choice to continue giving birth to her child. Hulda writhes and the baby is pushed forward a little further and now there are only a few centimeters left before it is born. The amniotic sac has ruptured, which means that the baby is already getting air, and that's good. In the meantime, the Chestburster in Hulda's chest has taken in so much nourishment that it begins to grow into an Alien. Hulda can already feel how her chest feels extremely heavy and that something sharp is moving inside.
The ferry has come even closer to the dock and several of the people are standing on the foredeck and several of them can see that Hulda is giving birth and several of them are pointing at her while others turn their heads away to avoid seeing what is happening. Hulda can see that some of the people are pointing at her and she feels singled out and humiliated. Giving birth is very private but now the whole public sees what she is doing and that is not what Hulda wants.
In the meantime, the alien monster in the chest continues to grow and its head begins to slowly push out Hulda's chest and since there is no longer any milk in the breast, she does not notice what is happening at first, but when she looks down at the child again, she can not avoid seeing how the chest is pushed out more than it possible should be able to and a banana-like appearance is clearly visible through the skin. Hulda can also see how her stomach begins to bulge in a very abnormal way and the bulge moves quickly even further down through her body and the baby is continuously pushed forward even though she is not writhing at the moment. Hulda gasps.
- What's going on? I don't like this.
The baby is pushed forward the last few millimeters and it is born and Hulda tries to bend down and pick up her baby but her body does not obey her and she redoubles her efforts. Suddenly, Hulda's entire body explodes in a gigantic explosion of blood and body parts, and in the middle of the bloody mess, a full-grown Alien monster becomes visible. Because the Alien monster is so big, it had to squat in Hulda's body, but now it begins to rise to its full length and Hulda's internal parts drip from its body onto the ground. The alien monster moves away from its dead host and approaches the food cart that is on the dock and it gets in there and soon loud screams are heard from the food cart but they soon fall silent. The blood splatters hard against the window of the food truck.
The ferry enters the quay and a woman runs directly towards Hulda's body and lifts up the newborn baby that the Alien monster missed. The woman is not going to allow the Alien monster to eat it. The ambulance arrives at the dock and they can see Hulda's dead body but they can also see her newborn baby and one of the paramedics looks for some identity document among the parts of Hulda's body and he soon finds her ID card. The paramedics take care of the newborn baby while a policeman calls Hulda's husband and tells him what has happened and he is of course devastated but at the same time happy that the baby survived.
Riddarfjärden
Douglas is steering his boat through various small streams and he passes some people standing fishing by a bridge and Doulgas waves happily to the people and they wave back. Douglas hasn't turned on the stereo in the cabin because the boat's engines are like music to him so he doesn't need extra music. Douglas also likes the special diesel smell from the engines. Douglas slows down when he meets other boats so that there will not be unnecessary surges. The compass at the boat's rudder shows that Douglas's boat is moving in a straight direction and that is the way he wants it to be. Since the sun is shining so brightly, Douglas has put on his sunglasses and he looks a bit like Roy Orbinson in these sunglasses.
The floor of the deck is still wet and slippery from the slime from the egg and the facehugger and Douglas intends to wipe the slime away as he has gone further out to sea and no longer needs to steer the boat in the same way. Douglas could have wiped the slime off before starting the engine but he wanted to get going as soon as possible. The two sandwiches are eaten and Douglas no longer feels any mucus in his mouth. What happened feels like a bad nightmare that disappeared when Douglas woke up again, although he remembers that he threw both the facehugger and the egg into the water.
Some seagulls fly over Douglas's boat but they soon notice that there is nothing edible in the boat and they fly on while making screeching noises. It sounds like they are really hungry. It has happened that Douglas has brought older bread and has thrown the bread into the water, but today he only brought the sandwiches that he was going to eat. There is some hot chocolate left in the thermos but the sandwiches are eaten. The sandwiches have nourished Douglas, but the growing Chestburster in his chest has also been nourished and is now fully grown.
Douglas feels a strong movement in his chest but he doesn't think much of the movement he feels because he is concentrating on steering the boat. There is a current of water right where the boat is driving right now, but a few meters further on, the slightly swirling water current disappears. Douglas can see on the waves where the water current is strongest and he steers the boat away from it. Douglas has been out with his boat many times so he is used to the sea. Douglas sings to himself
Up on the blue wave, where the sea now beats, there I have my home, there I have my life.
Douglas crosses the current of water and meets two other boats and he happily greets the drivers of the two boats and they happily greet back. One of the people knows Douglas and has met him a few times. Douglas slows his boat and lets the wind help propel it. The wind is not very strong but there is still some breeze.
Douglas suddenly hears a gnawing sound from his chest and it reminds him of when his old dog gnawed on a dog's leg. Douglas no longer has a dog because he didn't buy a new one when the old one died. Douglas mourned his dog for a very long time and it was very difficult for him to let go of his beloved dog. Douglas had never felt such intense sadness before and he doesn't want to be part of it again. The gnawing sound dies down as quickly as it started and Douglas imagines that the sound was coming from somewhere else and not from his chest. Douglas looks out over the glistening sea and feels satisfied.
Douglas feels a very strong movement in his chest and at the same time sees how something from inside his chest pushes the chest out. Douglas can see a snake-like shape under the skin of the chest and it really pushes out the chest. Douglas has no idea what kind of creature is in his chest but he suspects that it has something to do with the beast that stuck in his face and that he should have sought care and had a nurse check his body but now it late. The serpentine form retreats but Douglas can feel its movements in his chest and he does not want this uninvited guest in his chest. The gnawing sound returns and Douglas realize that the uninvited guest is eating his ribcage and he slaps one hand hard against his chest but the gnawing does not stop but gets even stronger.
Douglas's chest is pushed out again and this time it's pushed out even more and Douglas can hear a low whimpering sound from the snake-like figure pushing out the chest but he doesn't feel sorry for the intruder. Douglas gets a lot of pain in his back when his chest is pushed out and he positions himself so that he has a wall behind him and then he presses his back against the wall. It hurts less in the back, but the chest is pushed out so much that Douglas's shirt is stretched to the max and the snake-like shape becomes even more visible. The creature pulls back, but a few seconds later it again pushes Douglas' chest out to the max. Douglas finds it hard to breathe every time the figure pushes his chest and he realizes that the uninvited guest is quite large. The creature retreats and Douglas guesses it will return after a few seconds but it doesn't and he can't feel any movement from it.
Douglas thinks about whether he should call the marine rescue and explain what is happening to him. Maybe they can pick him up in their boat and drive him to the hospital. Douglas picks up his cell phone and looks for the number for the marine rescue, but he has a firm hand on the boat's rudder to keep it from drifting off course. Douglas looks at the coordinates of where he is so that the marine rescue can find him more easily. Douglas finds the number and is about to call when his chest is once again pushed out with such force that the skin on his chest breaks and a growing flower of blood forms on Douglas' shirt and he drops his mobile phone. The mobile phone slides away on the deck and it stops just in front of the boat's rudder and speed controls. The shape retreats and Douglas reaches for his cell phone and he soon has it in his hand again.
Douglas has to look for the phone number again and when he finds it again, his chest explodes in a geyser of blood and small bits of his rib cage. The chestburster appears in the middle of the chest and it uses its strong tail to push out from the open chest and it comes further and further out and finally it pops out of the chest with a wet sound and lands right on the speed control. Douglas's lifeless body falls forward and turns the boat's rudder so that the boat is facing the same direction he came from. The Chestburster crawls over the speed control and the speed increases and the Chestburster manages to activate the automatic cruise control which means that the boat always maintains a certain speed unless it is changed. It can be good to use the automatic cruise control if the boat is far out to sea and has to drive long distances, but it should not be used this close to Stockholm's quays.
The boat continues forward at high speed and when it comes to the current of water that Douglas passed before he heard the gnawing sound, the direction changes as no one is at the rudder of the boat and the boat begins to approach Strömkajen. There are many boats here but also a restaurant that is out on the water. A large part of the restaurant is a converted boat dock and it is very popular now in the summer and it is full of hungry diners in the restaurant.
Strömkajen
Lots of people pass the long quay and most of them are tourists. They have been told by several hotels that the restaurant that is by the water has very good food and they are getting hungry because it is almost 12 am. Some of the tourists are eating ice cream at the big ice cream shop and others are standing looking out over the sea. An elderly woman preaching has attracted a lot of tourists and she promises everyone that it will be a very nice day. Another younger English woman nearby is also preaching but she has nothing positive to say. She narrows her eyes at the tourists and hisses at them.
- You will also die today if you're not careful. Always think of the very worst things that can happen this day. The monsters are everywhere, including in your own chest.
Most of the tourists back away and glare at the woman but they soon forget what she has told them.
A little further on the quay there is a salesman selling freshly caught fish and many visitors buy fish from him. A little further away a juggler is showing some tricks and he has put a hat on the ground so that the people who pass him will put some money in the hat and so far he has collected a relatively large amount of money. The juggler has a job but he would like some extra money now that it's the weekend.
There are mostly people at the restaurant that is by the water and both indoors and outdoors are full and there are people standing at the entrance waiting for a table to become available. At one of the tables in the outdoor dining area, a whole family sits and their 25-year-old son, who has Down syndrome, sits and repeats the same words over and over again.
- Cheeeeeese cheese cheeeeeese cheese
- That's enough now, Sam. We know you like cheese. Eat your food before it gets cold.
Sam's 18-year-old brother is both tired but also amused by Sam's constant repetition of the word cheese and jokes about it.
- You could think that Sam works in that factory that makes those good cheese bows.
But the father is not amused by the comment.
- Sam repeats the word because of his disability. It's nothing to joke about.
Sam shuts up and eats his food and when he's done, he sits and looks around at the other diners. Sam's brother and both parents haven't finished eating yet and Sam thinks they're taking way too long.
At the table next to Sam and his family there are two lawyers eating their lunch and today they chose this restaurant because it was the closest to where they were today but they don't discuss their case while they are eating. The two lawyers talk about everyday things such as the weather and the news. Both lawyers have seen on the news that it was a person who put the Alien eggs in the Kungsträdgården the previous day, thus a deliberate sabotage, and they discuss what the person's motive was and they disagree even though they work together.
A little further away, there are some students sitting and the reason why they are eating here today is partly due to the fact that they get a good student discount at this restaurant and that they were hungry for fish today. The students have a smaller speaker on the table and it plays music but the volume is not that loud because the students have been told by a waiter that they are not allowed to play loud music. The students are talking very loudly to each other because they are used to it and an older couple sitting next to them look annoyed but they don't ask them to quiet down. The students mostly talk about a lesson in the morning that went wrong and the Hip-Hop concert at Kungsträdgården the previous day and they are both happy and disappointed that they were not there. Considering the chaos that the Alien monsters created, it was perhaps a good thing that they did not attend the concert.
Diagonally behind the students, three drug dealers sit and discuss who should pick up a large batch of drugs near Mariatorget. Normally, these drug dealers are usually in another place when they make their deals, but the police have driven around a lot in the area and the three drug dealers have felt hunted. If Kungsträgården had been open they could have done their deals at some of the alleys but the park is closed due to the events of the previous day so they couldn't meet there either. It was the oldest drug dealer who suggested that they meet at this restaurant and so far everything has gone according to plan although they have to be very careful when they talk about their deals so that no unauthorized person understands what they are talking about and calls the police.
A little further away, a married couple is sitting eating. They are moving into a new apartment and they have taken a much needed lunch break and this restaurant looked most tempting. The man actually wanted to sit indoors to avoid the wasps flying around but there were no free tables there so they chose this. The man has placed a paper napkin above his soda so that no wasps will fly into the bottle.
Sam feels very restless as he sits and waits for the rest of the family to finish eating and he looks out to sea and sees a larger boat approaching the dock and the boat has a high speed and seems to be heading straight for the restaurant. Sam sees no one at the boat's rudder and he senses that the boat is going to ram the restaurant and it's best to warn the rest of the family of the approaching boat and he starts repeating a word.
- Boat boat boat boat boat.
- Yes, we're going by boat tomorrow, Sam.
- Boat boat boat boat boat boat boat.
- No, now you have to give up. Stop nagging now.
Sam points to the boat but neither the parents nor the brother turn to see what Sam is pointing at and they continue eating their food.
The students are sitting in the direction of the boat and they start to hear the sound of the boat's engines but they think it is some boat owner who wants to impress with his nice engines and none of the students are interested in boats and engines. The students sit and read in their textbooks so they are not aware of what is happening around them.
One of the lawyers sitting near Sam and his family's table receives an email and he picks up his cell phone and reads the email. It says that the Alien Queen is near Lars Café and the person who wrote the email took a picture of the Alien Queen and the policemen who are shooting at her. The lawyer shows the email to his work colleague and they understand that this problem is bigger than they first thought. Both lawyers have seen the movie Aliens so they know what the Alien queen does. They understand where the eggs come from but not why a human has placed them.
One of the three drug dealers has picked up his mobile phone and he has opened a map of Stockholm and he shows with his index finger how they should get to Mariatorget and at the same time avoid certain roads that they know the police usually keep an eye on. There are no surveillance cameras on the alternative route, but it will be a longer distance to walk. One of the drug dealers is sitting with his back to the water and he hears a boat engine revving and it sounds like it's approaching very fast and he frowns because he knows it's not allowed to drive any boats this fast near the quay.
Sam sees the boat approaching without slowing down and it's obvious it's going to hit the restaurant soon and to get his family's attention he kicks the table leg so the whole table shakes and then points at the boat.
- But what are you doing? Let go of that nonsense.
- Boat boat boat boat boat boat boat
Sam's father is about to scold his oldest son when he hears a boat engine that is going very fast and he turns to see what the sound is coming from. The father also sees that the boat will drive right into the restaurant and he stands up violently and warns the rest of the family.
- Get up. It's a boat that someone has lost control of.
The students feel uneasy as the engine noise gets louder and louder and they look up from their books to see the boat approaching and they get up from their chairs but there is no way they will be able to leave the restaurant. The two lawyers also react to the sound and turn to face the sea, staring at the approaching boat. One of the lawyers reacts to the fact that there does not seem to be anyone in the boat.
- Who the hell is driving the boat?
A few seconds later the boat drives straight into the restaurant and part of the wood folds upwards and splits into several small hard and sharp pieces of wood and one of the diners gets a sharp piece of wood straight through the stomach and his shirt quickly turns red with blood. Another guest gets a hard piece of wood in his head and loses consciousness. A wooden panel is broken by the boat and one of the guests has his body against the panel and he falls into the water but luckily he is good at swimming. The wood splits so much in one place that there is a big hole under one of the tables and the table collapses into the water below the restaurant but the students who were sitting at the table have already moved.
There is a loud bang when the boat crashes into the restaurant and the people up at the quay at first think it is a bomb that has exploded but then they see the boat. The boat swings against the wood and changes direction, driving diagonally towards the quay instead.
Sam, the students and the lawyers can see the Chestburster as it is above the speed control and they understand how this accident happened but the other guests have no idea how this could have happened and a few believe it is a sabotage against the restaurant.
The boat slams into the dock with such force that the Chestburster flies overboard and lands in the water. The chestburster has a very strong tail and it manages to swim away from the boat but when it gets out into deeper water it drowns. Sam can see the Chestburster from where he is standing and he wonders what it is but neither his father nor his mother have seen the Alien movies so they don't know what the strange creature is.
The lawyers have seen all the Alien movies and they can guess roughly what has happened on the boat. Some of the students have also seen the Alien movies and they can also guess how this has happened but none of the three drug dealers or the married couple have seen the Alien movies and they wonder what kind of creature is swimming around in the water. They also watch as the Chestburster drowns and one of the drug dealers jokes that they should pick up that creature but neither of the other two are interested. They want to leave the restaurant as soon as possible.
Those sitting inside the restaurant heard the bang when the boat drove into the outdoor dining area, but they didn't really see what happened, and they disagree on whether it's even important. They look out of the window and see the boat and only now do they realize that the boat rammed the outdoor dining area.
Sam's father thanks Sam for trying to warn him and the family. Luckily, none of them were hurt, but it could have been worse. Sam's dad and the rest of the family just finished eating before the boat pulled into the restaurant and they walk towards the entrance and exit by the long dock and Sam looks at the Chestburster as he passes where it drowned and its yellow-red body is fully visible as he looks down in the water. Several other people have gathered at this part of the quayside and they are also staring at the Chestburster. One of the people standing at the dock recognizes Douglas' boat and he wonders what has happened and he calls Douglas's mobile phone but gets no answer.
