Harry glared darkly at the nurse who happily ignored him as she carried on working at her desk, clearly aware of him, but not taking one lick of attention as he tried to bore a hole in the side of her head.

"Harry is scary when he is pissed," Abby noted quietly.

"He is weirdly like Gibbs when he is like this," Tim nodded.

"He is really scary," Jimmy shuffled a little further back out of Harry's eyesight as he determinedly got to his feet and stomped over to the nurses' desk.

"I want to know how he is!" Harry demanded of the nurse who sighed and shot him an unimpressed look.

"Mr Potter-Black, we are are still working on him, the bullet went in at an awkward angle, he is ok but I won't be able to give you any more information than that until the doctors have finished, as I have told you, several times," The nurse said with practised calm.

"Ugh!" Harry growled stomping back to where the rest of them were seated and sat down with another growl, muttering under his breath.

"Harry, he has been here a good few times before, he pulls through every time," Ducky took his hand and patted it assuring him.

"That is not what I want to hear! How many times has he ended up here?!" Harry snarled making Ducky grimace as he realised his mistake.

Harry was visibly fuming and concerned as they finished filling him in on the occasions that they had been in this exact position in the hospital before now, and they were all fairly sure that the nurses' desk was going to spontaneously combust with the force of his glare if he was kept from the man inside any longer.

"Any news?" Jethro asked hurrying down the hallway looking absolutely furious, and they felt sorry for the Director of the FBI who had demanded to speak to him so that he could not be here.

"Tony DiNozzo?" The Doctor called.

"Doctor Pitt?" Ducky asked concerned as they crowded the doctor. "Why are you here?"

"I got called in, with how long Tony was lying on the warehouse floor and the bloodloss they were concerned as to the effect that it would have on his lungs, they were right to call me in. The bullet wound itself is ok, we have removed the bullet and stitched him up, it was at a little bit of a strange angle, but he is going to be fine from that," Doctor Pitt assured them.

"His lungs?" Harry narrowed his eyes at the Doctor.

"You're new," Doctor Pitt blinked at the sight of the younger man glowering at him.

"I'm Jethro's partner," Harry waved him off.

"Another NCIS agent, Tony hasn't mentioned you,"

"Romantic, not work partner," Harry said impatiently before demanding "his lungs?"

"They have been slightly compromised. A little bit of antibiotics and care and he will be fine though, he will need to be on light duties though and to be careful with the colder weather setting in,"

"Light duties, not off work?" Harry frowned.

"I would prefer that he be off work, but he won't do it," Doctor Pitt sighed.

"Oh, he will!" Harry growled. "Can we see him?"

"If you can get him to stay off work for the allotted time, I will give you $100," Doctor Pitt said as he waved them forward.

"I wouldn't place that bet if I were you, my boy," Ducky chuckled.

"Even Gibbs can't get him to stay off," Doctor Pitt blinked.

"Ah yes, but Gibbs doesn't have the power that Harry does," Abby laughed as Harry pushed ahead of Doctor Pitt at the sight of Tony laid out on a hospital bed hooked up to machines and grinning tiredly at them.

"And what power is that?" Doctor Pitt asked.

"The power of fussing," Ducky snickered as Harry descended upon Tony.

"Tony, I have been so worried, are you ok? How are you feeling? Do you need anything, water, are you allowed something to eat?" He fussed around Tony, plumping his cushions and straightening his blankets.

"Is he...tucking Tony in?" Ziva asked amused.

"Yes, he is," Tim said amused as Gibbs made it to Tony's other side.

"DiNozzo, how are you feeling?" Gibbs barked.

"Don't bark at him! He's hurt!" Harry barked right back making Tony stare up at him with wide brown eyes, Gibbs rolling his eyes but softening his tone.

"How are you?"

"Little bit sore and aching, but the meds are doing their job," Tony shrugged and then winced slightly.

"How is your chest?" Gibbs asked pointedly.

"It is fine," Tony said looking at Doctor Pitt mulishly.

"It isn't Tony, you're on medication for it," Harry frowned dangerously.

"It's fine, a couple of days and I will be back at work, desk duties I know!" Tony grinned at Gibbs.

"Anthony DiNozzo!" Harry thundered and everyone stared at him wide-eyed. Tony turned to see him standing there, hands on his hips dangerously and a glare on his face that made Tony sink back into his pillows. "If you think that I am letting you go back to work while you are ill you have another thing coming, you are going to be staying with Jethro and I where I can keep an eye on you and when, and only when, your Doctor says you are good to go will you be going back to work!"

"But…"

"No! Anthony, I will tie you to the bed!" Harry growled.

"Kinky," Tony said meekly.

"I mean it, Tony," Harry said but it was gentler this time, and he reached out to stroke his fingers through Tony's hair, brushing his fringe out of his eyes.

"Don't think Gibbs will want me taking over his house Harry,"

"You're staying with us DiNozzo," Gibbs rolled his eyes, giving him a head slap that was more of a pat. "And if Harry can finally get you to take the time off you need to recover I will love him more,"

"But…"

"No arguing, now, you need to get some rest, here have a drink, and besides, I am sure that there is something that I can do to help you get better quicker," Harry winked at him as he pressed a glass to Tony's lips.

"He will be just fine I think," Doctor Pitt chuckled as Tony accepted the drink a little wide-eyed.

"You do realise that I am sitting right here right?" Tony huffed and Doctor Pitt looked away from Harry to Tony and Jethro who were sitting on the hospital bed waiting.

"Yes but he is the responsible one," Doctor Pitt smirked.

"I am here as well," Jethro frowned.

"As I said, the responsible one,"

"Most people would think that the youngest of us standing there in leggings and my NIS hoodie with a long ponytail thingy would not be thought of as the responsible one," Jethro muttered smirking when Harry stuck his tongue out at him before turning back to the Doctor Pitt.

"I will make sure that he takes all his medications and does his exercises," He said seriously taking the bag of medications and sticking them into his messenger bag.

"He is really bad at taking his painkillers because they make him sleepy and he thinks that is a sign of still being ill and won't be allowed back to work," Doctor Pitt warned him.

"Traitor," Tony muttered.

"Don't worry I will make sure he takes them," Harry waved the Doctor's concern off.

"What are you going to do, drug my drinks?" Tony pouted.

"Only if I have to," Harry grinned. "Now put this on it is cold out there!" He demanded holding out a big thick jumper to Tony. The NCIS agent grumbled and complained about it, even more so when Harry wrapped a scarf around his neck as well. But Jethro and Doctor Pitt could both see that he was soaking up the fussing.

Jethro hated how touch and love-starved Tony was. A lot of people became frustrated with Tony and disliked him thinking that he was arrogant. But when you looked passed the shields his arrogant statements covered someone who needed to hear reassurances of his worth and the fact that he was still relevant in the lives of the people that he cared for.

Harry recognised it more than anyone else, and his natural caring instincts seemed to have come out in full force with Tony being ill. He recognised the signs of needing love in the older man, and he had admitted to Jethro that he saw himself in Tony, except for the fact that he had been lucky enough to have Mrs and Mr Weasley in his life from a young age, he had Sirius and Remus and Hagrid, he had had parental love in his life, he had had sibling love and family in his friends. Tony had not, he had not been that lucky. He had been alone and isolated until he went away to college and managed to make a family with his frat brother.

But he was an adult by then.

Jethro had not really thought about it before to the extent that he had since Harry came into his life. Tony's actions and reactions took on a different shade to Gibbs and he felt as though he understood his Agent a little better.

He and Harry had discussed how the Dursleys made Harry feel, even now, and how growing up feeling unloved and uncared for had felt. Aside from wanting to hunt down the Dursleys with Ducky and teach those pigs a lesson that they would never forget, Jethro was looking forward to the next time that DiNozzo Sr dared cross his path again. He had promised Tony that he would not say anything to him, especially after the women in their team had taken a liking to him and had seemed to assume that Tony had been exaggerating his childhood.

He would keep that promise. But he would be quite happy to shove the man in front of Harry and then hide the evidence.

"Right come on," Jethro hopped off the bad and threw a blanket that they had brought with them around Tony's shoulders. "Don't look at me like that, winter is setting in and your lungs are compromised!" He grunted.

"Come on, I have made some soup for you, Molly's recipe, it makes you feel better no matter how ill you are," Harry grinned linking their arms and started leading Tony down the hall. Jethro nodded to Doctor Pitt before making his way after them, walking on Tony's other side.

Doctor Pitt grinned after them before heading back to work. He reckoned that his favourite patient would finally be just fine. He also reckoned that Kate would be happy with how looked after Tony was.

"Tony, you look happy," Abby beamed walking into the bedroom. Tony grinned and patted the bed next to him in invitation. She quickly yanked off her coat and boots before crawling onto the bed next to him and snuggled in.

He was surrounded by comfortable pillows that Harry had charmed to be even more comfortable, he had a duvet over him with a charm on it that kept him at an exact temperature that Doctor Pitt had recommended that they try to keep Tony at.

He had also charmed the room to be an ideal circumstance for Tony's damaged lungs to heal, heavier on the oxygen and taking the damp out the room. He had also made sure that there was a TV in the room for him.

Jethro had gone to his apartment while Harry had been sorting the house and getting Tony settled, and he had brought over everything that Tony might need or want, even on a whim, including a massive stack of his DVDs. Any doubt that Tony had about Jethro wanting him here as well was gone when he had seen the number of things the older Agent had brought back with him.

"Hey, it looks like you are thinking big thoughts," Abby said softly snuggling into his side.

"Harry and Gibbs have been looking after me really well, it has been...really nice being here, being looked after and being cared for. I don't think that I have been this cared for before when I have been sick. And part of it is my own fault for not telling Gibbs and you guys when I have been sick or how sick I have been before. But this is different. Harry is fussing over me and looking after me, and Gibbs came in and demanded to know what my favourite film was, and then sat right here with me watching it,"

"That sounds really nice Tony," Abby smiled.

"It has been," Tony grinned.

"Right here we go!" Jethro walked in with a tray for the two of them.

"Harry sent you up hey Boss?" Abby teased.

"He wasn't impressed when I pointed out that there was only a set of stairs between you being able to come down and get it your damn selves," Jethro grumbled but he placed the tray gently on Tony's knee.

"He tell you off, Boss?" Abby grinned.

"Eat all those cookies, Harry keeps baking them and I keep eating them," Jethro grunted turning to leave them to it.

"They're weirdly adorable, and I never thought that I would ever say that, ever! It is hilarious watching Harry bossing Gibbs around," Tony laughed.

"Harry's meeting is taking a while," Tony frowned looking at the clock.

"He's going to be cranky when he comes back, he hates doing politics even though he is good at it," Jethro huffed, not taking his eyes off of the TV.

"Sounds like someone else I know," Tony snorted.

"If Harry wouldn't kill me for it I would head slap you right now," Jethro glared at him.

"Well, you know I am going to be making the most of it while I am here, as long as you aren't adding them up for after," Tony added concerned.

"Yeah, no Harry would kick my ass if I did that as well," Jethro rolled his eyes, turning back to the TV. "You know, once you're back on your feet, this doesn't just go away,"

"What?" Tony turned to look at Gibbs with wide-eyed, confused as to what his boss was getting at.

"Look, you know that you are always welcome here, and you have taken me up on that in the past," Jethro paused the TV and took a breath turning to Tony who was panicking slightly, Gibbs didn't talk about his feelings, or express them, but this is clearly what he was about to do, the younger Agent could see him gearing himself up for it.

"Gibbs…"

"Look, you don't have to upset, or need support to come here, it is fine that you do that, but you can come to spend time here if you want to just because you want company, it is fine. I have tried to figure out how to say it before but it has never come out right," Jethro huffed.

"Harry is good for you Jethro," Tony smiled. "Something in you seems to have let go of the walls that you kept up, I know they were to protect you, but they also isolated you from being able to enjoy life as well. He's given you something back I don't any of us realised you were pushing away,"

"I don't think I realised it myself, I knew that I pushed away the people I loved just a little, not letting them fully in because if I lost anyone I tricked myself into believing it wouldn't hurt as much. Instead, I have realised that I have missed out on enjoying all the amazing people that I have in my life fully instead, I've been denying myself full happiness for something that might never happen. Shannon would have kicked my arse for it," Jethro snorted.

"I'm glad that you're fully with us," Tony admitted.

"Harry is so full of life and love, and just enjoying every moment despite everything that he has been through,"

"Are you worried that he will leave you behind if you don't keep up?" Tony frowned, not really liking the idea that Jethro could be worried about losing Harry unless he forced himself into something that he might not be comfortable for himself.

"Oh no, I know that Harry will always wait for me, I just realised that if I wanted to be with him, he deserves all of me, and he is the first person since Shannon that I know I want to have a future with, I couldn't be anything be 120% for him," Jethro smiled.

The two of them stared at the paused TV screen for a few moments, neither of them really good at completely honest heart to hearts and needing a few moments to recoup from it.

"I meant it though, this…" Jethro motioned around the bedroom. "...this doesn't have to stop the minute you're better, this room will always be yours, and you will always be welcome here Tony. I'm going to be investing in a proper TV as well,"

"No...well now you won't be getting rid of me!" Tony mock gasped.

"Good," Jethro said firmly before turning the TV back on. Tony slid a little further down the bed with a soft, honest smile, the warmth and heat in his chest having nothing to do with his lungs.

"So, he is from the earth but travelled to the planet because of his twin brother who died, and he is going into the alien planet in a fake body, and he is falling in love with the alien woman who is his teacher?" Jethro frowned at the TV.

"Yes, she is also the daughter of the chief of her people, but the presumed Heir to her father wants to be with her as well," Tony nodded.

"But….she is as capable as him, why isn't she the heir?" Jethro frowned.

"Ugh!" Harry groaned walking into the room before Tony could answer.

The two NCIS Agents shared a look as Harry dropped face-first onto the bed with a loud groan, both of them recognising the headache that came with politics.

"That good huh?" Tony asked sympathetically as Jethro slid off the bed and bent down to tug Harry's shoes off his feet.

"I hate dealing with the politics of all this," Harry huffed.

"What was it this time?" Jethro asked rolling Harry over. The younger man laughed when Jethro lifted him up in a bridal hold, crawling back onto the bed and settling Harry down between himself and Tony, resting Harry's head onto the pillow that Tony had quickly placed onto his own lap.

"The British Government are bugging, pestering, prodding and threatening me for signing the Dual Citizenship papers," Harry huffed.

Tony paused in finger combing out Harry's long back hair and stared at him wide-eyed worried, looking at his Boss concerned about what the threat of that pressure would cause.

"And what did you tell them?" Jethro was grinning and looking so amused that Tony felt all that panic easing and went back to combing out Harry's hair.

"I told them that I would rip up my dual citizenship papers and sign up full time with MACUSA," Harry snorted. "It felt good but that caused a whole new bottle of arguments. In the end, I just left Hermione to them,"

"You eaten?" Jethro asked concerned rubbing Harry's legs gently,

"Yeah, they gave us something to eat, though I have to fight Ron to get some of the sausage rolls," Harry grinned. "Just tired,"

"Do you want to go to bed?" Jethro asked concerned.

"Hmmm, yeah," Harry yawned widely.

"I will be back through it a bit to finish the film," Jethro said to Tony seeing Harry was nearly already asleep.

"You don't have to," Tony shook his head.

"I want to see the twerp get his comeuppance, besides he is practically unconscious," Jethro snorted, lifting Harry again and heading across the hallway to the bedroom that they were sharing.

"So," Harry looked up from his cooking to his Uncle, a questioning look on his face at his tone. "So, since Anthony has been here, you have spent all your time here, two weeks now. And he is nearly ready to go back to work,"

"Mmm," Harry looked at his uncle nervously.

"So, are we moving your things in here permanently?" Ducky asked.

"Would you be upset if it was something that I was thinking about talking to Jethro about?" Harry asked taking the pan off the heat and made his way over to lean on the counter across from his Uncle.

"Not if it is something that you want. My boy, you are so happy, and Jethro is as well. Besides, it is not like you can't come over to see me in a second," Ducky laughed. He took Harry's hands tightly in his. "Harry I am over the moon that you have found happiness, love and a home that you have been longing for. I always knew that staying with me wasn't forever, and I am set in my ways, I like my own space as lovely as it was to have you in the house. I don't want you staying longer because you are worried about upsetting me,"

"You know me too well," Harry smiled. "I have been trying to work out how to have this conversation with you for a week now, never mind Jethro,"

"I think that that is a conversation you don't need to worry about. He will be over the moon," Ducky patted his cheek.

"I actually had a plan for that, I want to make it something special, what do you think if I…."
