Pokémon:
Heroic Heart and Super Soul
Episode16:
Rainy Daze
Tom: Time sure does fly when making more and more content. Hope you all as stoked as we are.
Sara: We Definitely are. Christmas is coming up along with the New Year.
Tom: We're also still taking a good breather, which means more is coming your way. TimPrime1 might also take a breather from Heroic Hear and Super Soul to focus on the other stories.
Sara: We're still doing our best to keep up with all that's going on. Including upon learning that Ash is leaving the anime.
Tom: That is a bummer, as we'll all miss him. Was hoping to see one of his kids continue on what he started. We'll continue to discuss this later. As for right now. More Pokemon: Heroic Heart and Super Soul. Kick it. (He hits the touchscreen buttons, and the data is sent to the Absolution.)

In the last episode, Ash took on Chad of the Frontier Brains; to earn his second Badge Symbol. Upon the match ending in a tie, Chad gives Ash the Badge Symbol, seeing how strong he really is. Not just in the strength of his Pokémon, but mentally. One example is knowing when to stop the fight, especially after Staraptor's wing got froze by Machamp.
It has been two days since then and…it's raining. Ash and Misty are now running.
As the two run, they are looking around for shelter. Pikachu hanging onto Ash's shoulder while Misty is right behind them. The both of them are soaked as they go through some trees, and they stop at one. Panting a bit as the rain continues. The tree helps to provide them cover, but not complete cover. The two of them lean against the tree, still feeling some of the rain hit them.
Ash looks over as Misty lowers her hood and is shivering a tad bit from the slight chill from the rain. Even though she runs the Cerulean Gym, that didn't prepare her for this. She has her hands holding her arms, trying to keep herself warm. Knowing her hoodie is sleeveless doesn't help her much, not to mention she's used to drying herself after a swim. Especially since the towel she has is probably soaking wet.
It isn't long until she feels Ash's arms wrap around her from her side. She looks at him as he attempts to keep her warm. He smiles at her, keeping her close. She returns the smile and lays her head on his chest. Ash looks around with his head as does Pikachu. He sees only rain as it pretty much clouds every direction he's looking into.
"This rain definitely did come out of nowhere." he stated.
Flashback
A few hours ago, Ash and Misty are walking through the forest while the sun is out. They're looking around seeing some Pokémon. Even Pikachu was enjoying the sights of what was around them.
"Such a beautiful day." Misty complimented.
"No kidding. I could just relax the whole day." Ash said with a bit of sarcasm.
"Then you wouldn't mind us stopping for a bit?" Misty replied, also sarcastically.
"Probably for a small breather." He told her until they noticed a tad bit of shade over them. They both looked up and saw a small dark rain cloud. "Is it supposed to rain?" Ash asked.
"I'm not sure. Huh?" Misty replied until another dark rain cloud came in. "That's odd." She commented.
It wasn't until more rain clouds came in over a short amount of time. In less than an hour the rain clouds covered the forest and it slowly began to rain.
Flashback ends.
Pikachu perks up with a light 'pi' and pats Ash's shoulder. Ash looks at him and Pikachu points in a certain direction. Ash looks and he sees a cave. A tad bit of a distance, but not a long one. He looks to Misty who is still shivering a tad bit, not to mention himself. Knowing what they need to do to get warm and dry, he lightly shakes her, thinking she fell asleep on him.
She looks up to him. "Yes, Ash?" she asks him.
"Pikachu has just spotted a cave. It's a tad bit of a distance, but it'll keep us dry." He informs her.
She looks at the cave and sees how far it is then looks to Ash. "Let's give it a go." She told him.
Being smart about this, he grabs up as much dry wood as possible, while most of it is either still wet or soaked. Placing the wood into his backpack, he takes Misty's hand. "You ready?" he asked her as he looked at her.
She gave off a nod. "Ready when you are." She replied.
From there the two ran towards the cave, the rain still beating down on them.
As the two ran, lightning flashed and a booming sound of thunder followed. Ash managed to keep his eyes ahead, just barley while Misty got a bit distracted. Seeing how much the lightning kept on flashing, Misty's hand slipping out of Ash's hand, she fell, very similar to how she fell in the Orange Islands.
Ash immediately noticed and went back to get her. When he got to her he knelt down to her level. "You okay, Mist?" he asked.
"Y-yeah. I'm fine." She barely managed to reply. Another flash of lighting made her jump a bit, right into Ash.
"We're almost there. Here." he told her as he got her up. Holding her close, he ran with her as fast as possible. Pikachu still holding onto Ash.
It wasn't long until the two of them reached the cave. Upon entering the two stopped briefly and he held her close. As he did, she had her hands on his chest, both of them panting from the run. Another flash of lighting came down, with another boom of thunder. Misty moved into Ash's arms more and he held her close.
He looked down to her, seeing that it had definitely been a while since she had last done this. From there he picked her up and she placed her arms around his neck. This had surprised her that Ash picked her up like this, but she didn't mind. Ash walked on over to a small spot in the cave and sat her down.
"There you go, Mist." He told her before he began to make a spot for a fire.
She watched him then looked out into the rain. Pikachu jumped off of Ash and jumped right onto Misty's lap. She smiled at him and began to rub his head. "I can't believe it. The rain just came out of nowhere." She commented as she looked back out into the rain.
Ash looked as well and got up. "I can't believe how much it's pouring." Ash stated before looking at her. "How are you doing though?" he asked her.
"A bit chilly, but I'm fine." She told him.
Ash brought out his Poke-ball. "Then let's get warmed up." He stated as he enlarged it and aimed it at the ground. It burst open and Infernape materialized from the white light.
"Fernape infern-ape? (What can I do?)" Infernape asked.
"Can you help us to start a fire?" Ash requested. Infernape looked to the wet and soaked wood. He fired a small fireball at the wood, catching it on fire. Not long after, Ash let his remaining Pokémon out as did Misty. They managed to make a large enough spot for Remorade to swim around in, in the cave.
The water and grass types helped to gather more wood and Ash was going to assist them until Misty grabbed his arm. He looked to her, and she looked a little bit concerned. "You're already soaking wet, and you might get a cold." She warned him.
He smiled at her and knelt down to her. "I know, but we do need the wood. I'll be fine. We do have a fire." He told her as the rain continued to pour. The two of them looked outside, listening to it. "For right now, how about you change into some dry clothes. Can't have you catching a cold either." He told her as he looked back at her.
"Okay, but once you get back, you best change yourself." She told him out of concern. From there he kissed her cheek and she blushed.
"I'll be right back." Ash told her and departed. Misty watched him head out into the rain to help their Pokémon.
While he was out in the rain, he found some dry and wet wood under some of the trees. He knew that wet wood wasn't all that good, but it was the best he could find. Ash picked up some small and large sticks of wood, he looked to see the Pokémon picking up more wood, along with some logs. Ash kept looking around finding more pieces.
Back at the cave, Misty had finished changing, now in a white tank-top with blue short shorts on. She put more wood on the fire as Infernape kept an eye out. The wet wood slowly drying from the heat of the fire. "At least the wet wood is drying. As for now, Ash needs to get back." She said to herself and looked out into the rain. "I hope he doesn't get sick from being out there." She said to herself still as she finished hanging her clothes on a makeshift clothesline.
It was while her clothes began to dry, she saw someone coming back. She saw it was Ash and she went up to the cave's entrance after grabbing the same towel she used. "You're back! I got a little worried." She told him and saw that he was still soaked. "Here, you definitely need to dry off. You must be cold as well." She mentioned.
He took the towel and began drying his hair. "Thanks, Mist and I am a bit chilly." He told her. Once he was done drying most of his hair, she kissed his nose when he took the towel off his head.
"Go ahead and change. I'll hang your clothes up." She told him. From there he removed his clothes, except his boxers, and put on a white shirt and blue jeans. She looked at the fire as he put on his shirt.
After he was done changing, he looked out into the rain seeing that it was still pouring. Misty looked up to him and saw that he was glancing out in the rain. Pikachu was right by the fire, next to her as she got up and went up to him. She placed her hand on his arm as she looked to him. He looked to her and placed his hand on hers before they looked back out into the rain as it continued to pour.
They saw their water Pokémon having a blast in the water. Even Romeraid was enjoying a nice swim time. The two sat down, Ash releasing Misty's hand as she sat next to him. They sat and listened to the rain, as it helped to calm and relax them.
It wasn't long after that Ash began to prepare lunch for all of them. He made some ingredients that Brock would normally make for their Pokémon food. Misty got their bowls ready as Ash poured their food into the bowls. Not long after, he put the stuff he made onto their Pokémon food and they began to dig in.
Ash managed to cook up a stew for him and Misty as she prepared the small table and chairs. Not long after, he poured the hot meal into the two metal bowls they carried and set them on the table.
Misty sniffed the food. "Mmmm! These smell delicious." She complimented to him.
"Thanks. I managed to understand how Brock made this stuff." He told her as he sat down.
She sat across from him. "From how much you have cooked, you cook as well or a bit better." She told him. "Yet, I'd like to cook for us again." She told him.
"I remember. While at the Cerulean Gym, you made a great breakfast." He complimented her. "Maybe we should switch up for who cooks at times." He told her with a small laugh.
"I agree. Right now, let's dig in." she said as she took a bite. "Oh man! This definitely is delicious." She complimented Ash.
He passed her some crackers. "Try it with these." He told her as he had some. She did so and her face lit up.
From there they had their lunch along with the Pokémon. More lightning clashed outside the cave and that made Misty flinch a bit. She really wasn't scared of it at all. When this storm came up, it definitely surprised her and Ash both. As she did flinch, Ash placed his hand on top of hers. She looked to him as he smiled at her. To let her know not to worry. She returned his smile and took his hand into hers.
"Don't forget, if anything was to scare or harm you, even it's a person. I'll protect you." He told her.
"Same with you, you know." She replied.
The two smiled and looked outside at the storm as it continued. They finished up their food and cleaned up.
After a few hours passed, they were getting dinner ready after the rain had finally began to slow. They had changed back into their regular clothes. Ash fed the Pokémon while Misty cooked. This time, she made her special Misty surprise, knowing Ash would love this one; unlike the one back in Johto. Ash had finished with the Pokémon as he and Misty set up their dinner outside the cave, since they wanted a bit of time together.
Once Ash looked at her food, he was very confused. "Uh, Misty? Is this your Misty's Surprise?" he requested.
"It is and it's definitely better than last time." She told him. His mouth was agape until she shoved a spoon full into his mouth.
He tasted it and it was definitely better. "Wow! Can't believe how good this is." He complimented. She only giggled and they sat across from each other again. Ash dived into the food she made as she casually ate. She laughed at him and he looked at her. "What?" He asked.
"It's nothing important." She told him. He only shrugged and continued to eat fast. 'Still, how did I fall for him?' she asked herself as she continued to eat.
Not long after dinner, they managed to clean up their dishes and get everything squared away. They looked up at the sunset and both smiled warmly at it. "How long has it been since we saw a sunset like this?" Ash asked her.
"I'd say years. Been a good while." She told him. They got up and went over and they both gazed at it. As they did, That only brought back that sad memory of when they had to split up. To go their separate ways. Ash sensed this from her and went over to her. She looked to him.
"Hey! Everything okay?" he asked her.
"Y-yeah…" "Mist." He told her as he interrupted her. He knew she was hiding something.
Her head hanging a good bit. The shadow from her hair covering her eyes. "I-I just remember…that day." She told him. He attempted to remember but it was a bit hard. "The day we had to split up." She reminded him. He remembered that day and saw how she was feeling about it. He went over and wrapped his arms around her waist. He pulled her close to him as a few tear drops fell from her eyes.
Yet, feeling him holding her, she looked back to him and he looked at her. "That day was the hardest on me too. I didn't want us to split up. I wanted us to remain together." He told her. She was shocked to hear this. "I knew you had your duties, which is why I didn't stop you or request you to come with me. I wanted you to…" but he was interrupted by her embrace as she wrapped her arms around him.
He returned it and she let her tears flow. "I-I…I wanted to stay. I never wanted to leave either." She told him as she cried. He smiled at her and hugged her more as she buried her face into his chest. Tears streaming down her face. There was more they wanted to say, but that was for another time. She tilted her head up and looked at him.
They smiled at each other, and Ash wiped away her tears. She sniffled a bit and they looked at the sunset together. Pikachu ran up to them and sat on Ash's shoulder. "Hey there, buddy." He said to his companion.
"Pika pika pi pikachu. (Glad to be here.)" Pikachu replied.
Misty giggled and scratched under Pikachu's chin, earning a 'chaa' from Pikachu. She and Ash continued to watch the sunset until night fall.
During the night, Ash and Misty were sitting under the stars while their Pokémon slept. The two of them smiled at the starry sky. Misty looked to Ash who was enjoying the time off. Smiling at him, she laid her head on his shoulder. He looked at her and wrap his arm around her shoulders.
Her eyes fluttered shut as she snuggled into him. He heard her breathing calmly and looked down at her, seeing that she had fallen asleep after a few minutes. He managed to pick her up and her hand went right onto his chest as he walked them into the cave. Ash placed her in her sleeping bag, very carefully, as to not wake her.
Before he joined her, he looked back outside then back to her. "I think I get it now. Why I'm feeling this way. It's probably because my feelings for her are returning." He mentioned to himself. He got down close to her and used the back of his hand to caress her face. She smiled from his touch. "Misty Waterflower. I am in love with you, but I'm not for sure if you're in love with me as well, or not." He spoke. He then recalled Tracey. "If you love Tracey, I won't get in your way. I just can't be with anyone else, knowing my feelings are strong for you." He stated.
From there he joined her when he got into his sleeping bag. He smiled at her and caressed her cheek again.
Sometime later on, Misty wakes up and sees its still night. She looks over and sees Ash has fallen asleep. Seeing his arm out, she gets closer to him and lays her head on his chest, placing her hand there as well. "Night, my sweet, Ash." She says kissing his cheek before going back to sleep.
The morning came and Ash was beginning to stir. When he did, he felt something on him. Groggily he looked down and saw Misty on him, fast asleep still. He saw how she was positioned. From there, he only fell back asleep until he realized that Misty was asleep on him. Trying his best, he attempted to move her, but she only snuggled into him more.
Seeing this, he decided to not move her, not wanting to wake her up. Instead, he wrapped his arm around her and kept her close as he went back to sleep.
Later on in the morning, Misty wakes up and sees that she fell asleep on top of Ash. Feeling something on herself, she looks and sees Ash's arm wrapped around her. She smiled and gently removed his arm to get up and started making breakfast. While she did, she made the Pokémon their breakfast as well.
She looked over to Ash and noticed that he was sleeping peacefully until his arm searched for her. From there, he woke up and looked over to Misty. He saw she was making breakfast still and saw the other Pokémon were eating as well. He got up and went over to her. She detected this and looked over. She saw him come up to her.
"You're finally up." She said to him.
"I mostly woke up on my own. Smelled your food a tad bit." He told her.
"Well, this will be ready in a few minutes." She told him.
"Anyway I can help?" he asked. She told him and he assisted her.
After a bit of time, they had breakfast as well. They returned their Pokemon and picked up camp.
"Achoo!" Ash sneezed. Misty looked to him, even as he sneezed a couple more times.
"You okay, Ash?" Misty asked.
"I am. Just a few snee-eeze-achoo.." He told her as he sneezed again.
"Pika pika pi pikachu? (A few sneezes, huh?)' Pikachu questioned.
She didn't buy it as she went over to him and felt his forehead. Ash looked at her as she did so, and she smiled as she lowered her hand. "Well, your temperatures fine." She informed him.
"Ya see! Nothing to worry about." He told her as he rubbed his nose.
"That doesn't mean I'm not gonna keep an eye on you." She told him sweetly.
"Why do you say that?" he asked. From right there, he sneezed again.
"I swear, you might be getting a cold." She told him.
"I strongly doubt it. Now come on." He told her and grabbed her hand. She giggled as he pulled her, and Pikachu jumped up on his shoulder.
The two of them looked up and saw it was bright and sunny. Misty smiled at the warm sun. "Seems like we're going to have a nice sunny say." She complimented.
"I'd say so. Hopefully we're going to have it like this for a bit of time." Ash sated.
From there, Misty grabbed his arm with her hands and laid her head on his shoulder. "If so, then we'll have enough time to get to Silver Town." Misty told Ash.
"Yeah. Once we do, we'll check out Serena's first contest." He stated. "I do wonder if she has enough confidence." Ash remarked. Remembering that Serena wasn't fully confident about going to her first contest.
"I believe she will. After all, with how Dawn is helping her, Serena might have enough confidence to take on this contest." Misty reminded him.
"Yeah. You're right. I've managed to teach Dawn about Pokémon before she got the encouragement. Now it's time for her to teach Serena." Ash mentioned.
"You taught Dawn? No wonder she didn't have as much confidence, ha ha ha. I think they might have to teach her a bit more." Misty teased, with a giggle.
Ash caught this and gave her an evil glance. "You best run." He told her smirking. Letting go of his arm, she ran ahead of him, and he chased after her. Both of them laughing and Pikachu laughing as well. He hopped off of Ash's shoulder and joined in on the fun. It would be a bit of time until they reached Silver Town; but this gave them a chance to continue their new journey together.
Back in Sinnoh, where Hunter J's ship went down at. It's in the evening as the sun begins to set. The same Team with the letter P on them were getting ready to dive into the water of Lake Valor. They looked at the water, even as Rocket grunts, ordered my Giovanni, to search the lake for J and her crew as well. They watched their rival team from a distance as two of their operatives got ready.
"Are we ready?" a female Rocket grunt asked.
"I am." Another female grunt replied. "What supposed to be down there, anyhow?" she asked.
"Hunter J's ship. It's been at the bottom of the lake for a while." A male grunt informed them. "We have orders to see if anyone or any Pokémon are still alive." He told them.
"I remember!" the first female grunt stated. The other female grunt looked to her. "From the reports, she fell at the hands of the Legendaries." The female grunt told her.
"Not to mention, she has had no heart or soul in her. From the reports of Jessie, James and Meowth, she is pure evil and only cares about money." The male grunt told them as he was setting them up.
"There's more I'd like to find out about her." The second grunt told them.
"You'll have enough time once we're done here. You both are ready." The male grunt told them.
The two nodded at each other, put on their scuba masks and fell backwards off their bost into the lake. The two swam deep into the lake as they began to search for J's ship. The two of them looked at the spot of where the ship had sunk.
"How far down does this lake go?" the second female asked.
"Pretty far down." The first female told her. She pulled out a device and bit a few buttons. From there it opened a few panels opened and a couple of propeller blades came out, along with two handles. They grabbed on and rode it down. As they rode it down, they turned on their lights. As they got down, they felt the water get cooler as they reached the dark bottom of the lake. Upon reaching the bottom, they turned on the lights of the device and made a loud gasp.
"What? What is it?" the male asked over the radio.
"Y-you're not going to believe this." The second female told him over the intercom. "It's…it's the ship." They told him as they looed at it. "It's in pieces." She continued.
"In pieces?" he questioned. "What all is down there?" he asked them.
They swam around a bit and found the front of the ship. "The front of the ship is badly damaged, The windows are completely shattered." The female grunt told him.
"Then what do we tell Giovanni? What's our report?" he wondered.
"We'll tell him what we've discovered. J and her crew are no where to be found." The female Rocket told him.
"How could she have just vanished like this?" the male wondered.
"We'll figure that out later. As for now, we'll report this to him." The first female told him.
Giovanni slammed his hand down on his desk, not believing this himself. "There's no one down there?" he questioned.
"No one sir. I doubt our rival team has found anything either." The grunt informed him.
Giovanni ragained his composure and looked back to the rocket grunt. "We need to see if she truly is still alive. I do suspect she is." Giovanni told the grunt.
"You do suspect she is still alive? Yet you're trying to find her?" he requested.
"I am. From what Jessie and James have reported, she hunts down Pokémon." Giovanni stated The grunt looked at him. Very anxious to know why Giovanni wants Hunter J. "She might be of a good asset to us. If she's still around." He told him.

Sara: Nearly there, Tom.

Sara: So we won't be back for a bit of time. A few weeks at most. Possibly starting next year.
Tom: Right now, we're getting ready for a jump. TimPrime1 is still recovering from the loss he and his family are going through. We hope that you all understand. He'll be back real soon, though. (the jump bridge opens)
Sara: Tom. It's time.
Tom: We'll see you all soon, Just remember to stay gold. Only Toonami. (the Absolution goes into the jump bridge)
Me: Till next time everyone
