Sara: A very relaxing time.

Tom: As for right now, let's get episode rollin'. Is everyone ready?

Announcer: You got that right, Tom. We have more Pokémon: Heroic Heart and Super Soul. Right here, on KidsWB.

Tom: Along with Toonami. Let's go ahead and kick it! *he hits the touchscreen buttons*

Ash and Misty get into a taxi, it changes color before driving off.\

A few days have passed on by and everyone has just arrived where Maiden's Peak is. Upon arriving they decide to have a look around town before going to the Pokémon Center.

Ash and Misty were taking in the sites. Remembering the events of Main Peak that had occurred. They had a small laugh, remembering how Brock was smitten by that ghost. The others looked at them.

"Man! I still remember that." Ash commented.

"No kidding Ash. Brock was somehow smitten by that ghost, and he still wanted to be with her." She recalled.

Pikachu remembered as well and he started to laugh, too.

"Wait! Hang on you two? What all is going on?" Dawn questioned.

"What all happened here that's making you both laugh?" Serena requested.

"Well, you guys see." Ash started. "Back when I was traveling with Misty and Brock, Back when I was ten. There's a spot here where Maiden's Peak is located." Ash told them.

"During our time here. Brock was somehow smitten by her. Especially by her so-called ghost." Misty added.

"A so-called ghost?" Iris wondered out of curiosity.

"Yeah! You see, Brock wasn't really smitten by her ghost. Only by her appearance." Ash told them.

"The ghost we're referring to is the Gastly. He kept her memory alive for well over a hundred years." Misty told them.

"Wow! That's certainly something." Dawn commented.

"What all happened to her?" May requested.

"I can tell you." A very familiar voice to Ash, Misty and Pikachu told her. They all looked and saw a small old woman in white hair. Ash and Misty knew who she was.

"Huh? You can tell us?" Serena questioned.

"I can indeed. Please, follow me." She told them as she started walking in the opposite direction. They began to follow her and it took a bit of time until they got to Maiden's Peak. "Right there!" she exclaimed as they looked towards the back of a stone statue. They all looked at it and they gasped. Except for Ash and Misty.

"Is-is it just me. Or is anyone else getting an eerily creepy feeling?" Kenny requested.

"Not just you. Even I feel creeped out." Drew replied.

"Wow! I must say that I'm astounded." Calem added.

"No kidding. Is-is that…?" Paul questioned.

"That's Maiden's Peak. There's a tale for that. Isn't that right, Gastly?" Ash said to the old woman, remembering who she really was.

"Ash! That's no way to speak to an old woman." Dawn berated him.

"Yeah. That's not even, huh?" Zoey about did the same until the old woman started to laugh in a completely different voice as she had her head lowered to hide her face. "What in the…" Zoey wondered, a bit freaked out until the old woman looked up at them, Gastly's eyes and mouth now revealed.

They all freaked out and screamed, but Ash and Misty only smiled and looked at Gastly.

"It's been a while, hasn't it?" Ash requested.

"It most certainly has been." Gastly told them as his whole body appeared and the old womans body vanished.

"What in the world?" Serena stated as she freaked out about this and hid behind Calem.

Gastly merely chuckled. "My dear. There's no reason to freak out. I'm merely a Pokémon." He reminded her.

"Then why did you freak us out?" Iris demanded.

Gastly laughed a little before looking at her. "Merely to get a good laugh." He commented.

Later on they were walking back as Gastly was now in a completely different disguise as he now looked like a teenager with dark green hair, yellow eyes, a red shirt with a black leather jacket, blue jean pants with black and white shoes with red dots on the inside and outside.

"Okay, I get this outfit, but why the shoes?" Ash requested.

"Why? What ever do you mean?" Gastly requested in a mocking tone.

"You know I wore the same shoes when we first met." He reminded Gastly. "Also, I thought you hated sunlight." Ash recalled.

"Oh, how silly of me." Gastly retorted, knowing full well about Ash's original appearance from six years ago.

"He got you, Ash." Misty teased.

"Oh boy." Ash graoned.

"As for the sunlight. I do enjoy it at times, now." He told Ash. "But I do more prefer the night." He stated.

"Well that certainly changed. As for right now. We need to get some rooms." Ash told them. "Misty and I will head to the Pokémon Center." Ash told them.

"Zoey and I will go off for a date today to enjoy whatever if going on." Paul told them.

"You both didn't tell them?" Gastly questioned.

"Actually, we didn't tell them anything." Misty told Gastly.

"Yeah. We planned this." Dawn told the ghost type.

"How many other things did you guys leave out?" Kenny requested, a bit annoyed.

"Would you relax, Ken. We didn't plan anything horrible." She told him.

"Unlike the Princess Festival. That was still torture." Ash commented until Misty grabbed him by his ear.

"What was that!" she demanded from him.

"Ow, ow, ow. Sorry. I was only kidding, Mist." He told her until she let go of his ear.

"That's what I thought." Misty stated in an irritated tone.

"I did say sorry. I really was joking." He told her as he rubbed his ear.

"Well right now let's head to the Pokemon Center and get checked in. We'll need some rooms for the next couple of nights." She told him before she stared to head off.

"I know, I 'm comin'." He told her.

"Pika pikachu. (You still have a lot to learn, Ash." Pikachu reminded him.

"I know that right there." Ash replied as he caught up to her.

Gastly watched them as they walked off. "From what I take of it. I think they're in a possible relationship?" Gastly wondered.

"Close enough." Dawn told him in a small laugh.

"As for right now. Let's enjoy this day." Iris stated.

"Along with this Summer Festival." Gastly told them as they started to walk off.

Paul took Zoey's hand as they went for the stands on the pier. Dawn, Kenny, May and Drew went over to the stands where food was being served. Serena and Calem would begin to explore the place with Gastly to learn a little bit of the history. Iris would've went down to the water and sat down on it as she would look out onto the water.

As she did, she would sigh and her Axew would pop out of her hair.

"Ew axew, ew? (Are you okay, Iris?)" her Pokemon would request before coming out of her hair fully, landing on the doc.

"I pretty much am. Just in some thought, though." She would tell her companion as she pet its head. "You see. I've been contemplating about this for a few weeks now. After seeing how the others have someone. I've been wondering, is there someone out there for me?" she told her companion.

"Axew axew axe. (Any guy would totally be into you.)" her companion would reassure her as it would make gestures and movement with its arms.

"Hmm. Since I'm still having a hard time understanding you. My guess is that you said that any guy would be into me?" she requested.

"Axew axew! (You got it!)" Axew exclaimed excitedly with its arms out and its eyes closed.

Iris smiled, tilting her head and body over slightly as she shut her eyes and let out a small giggle. "Thank you." She replied and pat her small Pokémon's head.

With Gastly, Serena and Calem. They were intrigued about the small amount of history they've learned so far. Especially from what all he's pulled.

"So then, let me get this straight. You pose as those people just to get a laugh." Serena questioned.

"Oh yes. I do enjoy that." Gastly said with some laughter.

"Did he also mention that he also makes fake spells to sell them for protection." A fairly familiar voice stated.

They all looked behind themselves and saw Officer Jenny. "Oh, my! Officer Jenny. I'm glad to see you here." Gastly told her with his eyes closed and a sweat drop.

"Wait! Sell fake spells?" Calem questioned.

"What is it that you're doing?" Serena pried.

"Well, you see. I've managed to tell Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy all that I do. Officer Jenny agreed to my business as long as a majority of my proceedings go towards this place." He informed them.

"Not to mention, we've told him not to sell anymore false spells." Jenny reminded him.

"Oh come on. I sell that from how much the paper costs." He attempted to reassure her.

"Then how come you've added on an extra amount? We've told you before not to do that." Jenny reminded him. "Also, has he done the same to you two?" she questioned them.

"Oh, no! He hasn't even attempted to sell us anything." Serena told her to defend him.

"In all honesty, he's been telling us some of the history." Calem told her to add in the defense.

"You see, Jenny. Everything is all good. Besides that. They're friends with the boy and girl I met six years ago." Gastly told her.

"Well that's good. And if you both want to get the actual history. There's an elderly man that will tell the tale of the Ghost of Maiden's Peak fairly soon." He informs them.

"The actual, history?" Serena asked a bit suspiciously.

"Yes. Gastly might try to do good. But he's pretty devious when it comes to the history that happens here. We've had to get quite a bit straightened out." Jenny recalled.

"Well, I'm glad he hasn't done that to us yet – I hope." Calem said in a hopeful tone.

With Drew, May, Dawn and Kenny. They were having something to eat during the festival. Enjoying their time from everything going on.

"Oh man! This pizza is fantastic." Dawn commented.

"The curry I got has some really great flavor to it." Kenny added.

"I'm really enjoying my Munchlax burger." May told them.

"Not to mention. This char grilled hot dog is great! I can taste the smokey and burnt flavors." Drew commented as well.

"I do wonder what all Paul and Zoey are up to." Dawn thought outloud.

"Take a look." May told her and Dawn looked over and saw them at a booth, playing a small game of Beedrill darts so Paul could try to pop a balloon.

"Do ya think he's trying to win her a prize?" Dawn asked teasingly.

"We'll soon find out." May replied as they continued to enjoy their lunch.

At the Pokémon Center. Ash and Misty had recently arrived and requested a couple of rooms. Nurse Joy was looking to see if there were any available due to the Summer Festival.

"Hmm. It looks like there are at least three rooms left. How many was in your party, again?" she requested.

"There's only nine of us." Ash informed her.

"Since there's only nine. A majority of them can be put in the first two rooms. You two might need to take the one with two beds." She informs them.

"That's fine with us." Misty told her.

"But, if anyone else needs to sleep here. We might need your friends to double up on the beds in the rooms. If they can." Nurse Joy added.

"Okay. If that means us as well. We have no problem with that." Ash stated.

"Right then. I've gotten everything done with." She stated and get the cards for them to use. "I hope you all enjoy your visit." She says to them.

"Thanks. We will, Nurse Joy." Misty told her before they headed off.

Ash and Misty went to their room first to set their stuff up with real fast and they looked inside. Even though it had two beds, they set their stuff in there to sleep in one of them. They had gotten used to sleeping together during their journey. Especially after Ash had gotten his second Badge Symbol. Misty looked to him as he looked like he was deep in thought. She went on over to him and put her hand on his arm and he looked at her.

"You doing okay, Ash?" she requested, a bit concerned.

"Yeah. I'm just thinking about the Badge Symbols is all." He tells her.

"What about them?" she asked.

"I know Chad told me to take a break, but I was wondering when I should get back to it? It's been at least a month since I last earned my second Bade Symbol." Ash reminded her.

She smiled at him and kissed his cheek as she was now in front of him, her hands on his chest. "You don't need to worry about earning anymore right now." She told him as she smiled. He looked at her a bit confused. "I checked the device over time and there weren't any updates on where you needed to go to next." She reassured him.

He smiled at her and he put his hands on her waist. "I guess we're waiting for President Goodshow to update us then, huh?" he said to her.

She nodded a couple of times before putting her arms around his neck. "I'm sure he'll let us know in due time. As for right now just try and relax." She reassures him.

"You got that right, Mist." He told her and she giggled at the pet name he had chosen for her. Then something clicked in his head. "Oh yeah! I almost forgot." He stated as he brought out his poke dex. "I need to get Prof. Oak to help me to update my poke dex." He stated.

"Then go on. I'll be there in a minute." She told him before he went out to the video phones. She giggled but gave off a dreamily sigh as she sat on the bed. "I-I thought that he was ready to kiss me. Oh Wow! I probably am his girlfriend at this point. Possibly." She said to herself in a bit of realization. "But I know we both have to confirm our relationship first. We'll do that once we're both ready." She said to herself before she left the room.

Once she entered the lobby, she saw him talking to Prof. Oak.

"Hello, Ash. How's everything going?" Prof. Oak requested.

"So far, so good Prof. Oak. I just need you to help me update my poke dex. Dawn and Serena already had theirs updated." He told him.

"Most certainly, Ash. Just insert it into that slot." Oak told him. Ash took his dex and put it into the slot. Oak typed a few things on his end as Misty came up.

"About finished?" she asked him.

"Probably in about a second." Ash replied to her.

"Done! Your poke dex is good to go." Prof. Oak told him.

The poke dex came out of the video phone slot and he took it. "Thanks, Prof. Oak." Ash told him.

"No problem, Ash. And have fun at the Summer Festival. Bye." He told them as he hung up.

Ash got up and put his arm out towards Misty. "Are you ready for another date?" he asked her.

She giggled and took his arm. "I'm ready." She told him.

Ash then looked down at his companion. "Are you ready as well?" he asked.

"Pika pikachu. (I certainly am.)" Pikachu replied as he jumped on Ash's shoulder and they all headed out.

The whole lot of them went around for a bit as they played some games and had some food to eat. Misty and Zoey giggled as both Ash and Paul acted like one another. The both of them ate up food like it was nothing.

"Jeez!" Kenny exclaimed.

"And I here by thought that Ash was bad." Misty joked.

"Turned out they both are pretty bad." Zoey commented in a joking tone.

"Yeesh! Where are they putting it all?" Calem questioned.

"That's a good question." Serena added.

"I never knew he was this bad." Gastly commented as he looked pretty disturbed at their eating habits. It was after they were done eating, Ghostly looked to them as they walked. "Hey, guys! It's time for the tale of Maiden's Peak." He told them, but he was also reminding Ash and Misty.

"Oh yeah. That's right!" Ash exclaimed.

"Wait! Doesn't Gastly already know the tale?" Dawn requested.

"I do, but I like for you guys to find out this way as well." Gastly told them with a small smirk.

Ash tilted towards Misty ever so slightly. "I think he's up to something." Ash told her in a whisper.

"You're probably right. We'll soon find out, though." She replied back in a whisper.

It didn't take long for them to reach where the Ghost of Maiden's Peak tale is. They all had arrived and sat down, eagerly awaiting for the man to tell the tale.

Gastly looked at them. "I promise you all, that this will be something to learn by." He told them. They looked to him then back to the old man who recently came out and put up an isle with a cover over it.

"Welcome! To celebrate the summers end festival. We will now display the shrine of the Maiden's greatest treasure." He announced to them. "For two thousand years, this painting has hung within the shrine of the Maiden." He informed them. "Once, each year, it is removed from the shrine and displayed to the public during this festival." He added. "As I unveil the painting, please gaze with reference." He requested as he removed it. As he did, Ash and Misty were still in awe at the painting. Even their friends were in awe at how it looked.

"Wow! Amazing." Calem exclaimed in awe.

"I can literally feel the emotion from this." Paul added.

"That looks so beautiful." May commented.

"No kidding. These painting look like they have more life in them compared to some in todays age." Dawn mentioned.

There they saw it. The painting of the Maiden as she once was. Very young and so full of life. Her dress and hair looked as if it flowed in the wind in the painting.

Gastly gave off a small chuckle. "The story he tells is pretty true. For the most part." Gastly informed them.

"The woman in this painting perished over two thousand years ago." He started.

"Over two thousand years?" Dawn questioned.

"Wow! This painting must be insanely delicate and the rock form of her must be as well." Iris commented.

"For, you see. She was in love with a brave and handsome young man. But he left her and sailed away to fight in a war." He told them.

"I'll wait for you forever! Come back to me. Fare well." her voice echoed in the tale.

"And she did wait, for a very long time. Hoping to see his ship on the horizon. But her true love never returned to that place again." He told all of them.

"That part is very true." Gastly whispered to them.

"Still, she waited and waited. Never moving from that spot." The man continued on.

"That part isn't all that true." Gastly stated.

"As she waited there. Her body was finally turned into stone. Just like the cliff upon which she stood." He started to wrap up. "To this day. She waits for her love to return." He told them.

Everyone was in awe after they heard this. Ash and Misty's friends felt incredibly bad, but Gastly was about ready to tell them.

It wasn't long until they returned to where she had once stood. They looked at her, not being able to fully comprehend how all of that had happened.

"Wow! So she waited before being turned into stone?" Dawn questioned once more.

"That doesn't seem possible, does it?' Iris questioned.

"Trust me. It isn't possible." Gastly told them. They looked to him, wondering what he meant. Even Ash and Misty wondered as well. "That is how the tale goes, but I know the truth." He told them as he turned back into his Gastly form as he tilted his floating head down with his eyes closed. "You see, she never really turned to stone. She died many years later." Gastly informed them.

Some of them gasped as other s looked at him with intent in their eyes. "What all happened?" Paul requested.

"It is true that she did wait, but she went back to her home." Gastly started. "It was over the years she had waited. The war did wage on, but as soon as I went out to find him. I only found out that he had perished in the war." He told them. This brought a shock to everyone as they had thought he might have returned. "Once I managed to come back, I had informed her as her spirit remains in that statue of her." He told them.

"Wait! Her spirit is in that statue?" Serena asked, completely baffled.

"What in the world! What happened?" Zoey questioned.

"I'm afraid that once she remembered. She told me that news of the war had finally ended. But she found out the love of her life had perished. She died of a broken heart." Gastly told them sadly. Many of the girls felt tears emerge from their eyes, hearing what had actually happened. "It wasn't long after, they found out where she stood and they made that rock statue of her. To remind everyone of what war can do sometimes." He told them as he looked back up at the statue. "Also, they made it to where her and her love can be reunited once more. As of right now." Gastly said sullenly as he looked down with his eyes closed again. "Her spirit remains in that statue." He told them sadly.

"Is this another…" "It is not. I promise you that." Gastly told Ash as he now looked back at her statue. "She does remain there. Looking out to the sea. I think that helps her to be at peace." He told them. They all looked to him then to her as the sun was setting.

Later on into the night, everyone was back in the Pokemon Center. Feeling the sadness from each other.

Paul remained with Zoey as Kenny held Dawn. Drew and May talked to ease things up a bit as Iris looked out the window. Ash and Misty, however, looked at some old photos of what happened years ago on their first trip to Maiden's Peak. Even Serena and Calem looked.

They were smiling as they remembered how things once were. "Man! Can you believe this?" Ash questioned as he smiled at the pictures. Misty was doing the same until she saw the pictures of them dancing.

"Oh wow. Look, Ash." Misty pointed out. Ash looked and saw it. The two of them dancing in their Kimonos.

"Huh? Oh wow! There's a bit of a dance?" Serena asked him. Zoey heard this and perked up a bit. Wondering if they had somehow found out.

"Yep. Once the festival comes to a close, we sent out boats with candles before we got dressed in our Kimonos and started to dance." Ash told her.

"I need to get a Kimono." Serena stated.

"So do I." Calem added.

The other girls heard this and went over and they saw Ash and Misty dancing in Kimonos.

"Yeah! I want one as well." Dawn exclaimed.

"Count me in on this." Iris added.

Nurse Joy watched them and smiled. Seeing that they all wanted to dance the night away once the Festival came to a close.

As this was going on, Gastly was in the small hut he lived in as he looked through the crack of the door. Seeing the stone statue of the Maiden. Feeling incredibly bad for her. "I do hope you have found peace." He said to himself.

The following day, most of everyone was up. Dawn and May were in the bathroom as there wasn't much room in there and they wanted to get ready for the day. Once they were done Zoey and Iris went in next as Serena came out of another one.

She looked around a tad bit, noticing two people weren't there quite yet. "Hmm! Where are Ash and Misty? I thought they'd be up by now." Serena asked them.

"From what I can tell. They're probably still asleep. I think they were up late last night." May told her and she is right.

Ash and Misty were still asleep as she held onto him and his arm was wrapped around her. Her hair was down as she slept blissfully. She nuzzled her head into his chest, but she started to stir a bit. Her eyes started to open and she looked around a bit and saw Ash still sleeping. She smiled at him and slowly got up, kissing his cheek.

"Morning sleepy head." She whispered to him. Once she was up, she grabbed her stuff and walked to their bathroom in her pyjama underwear. She turned on the lights and looked in the mirror, seeing her hair was a bit crazy. "Yeesh! I'm getting a bit of a bed head." She said about herself. She closed the door, know she was going to change, and as she did, she brushed her hair.

Ash was barely awake when his eyes cracked open and Misty started to change. He sat at the edge of his bed with his shirt and boxers on as he rubbed his face. Pikachu sat up and went over to him, now awake and Ash looked over to him. He smiled and pet his companions head. "Hey there, buddy. Hope you had a good nights sleep." He said to him.

"Pikachu. (I certainly did.)" Pikachu replied happily.

Ash then got up as Misty came out, putting the scrunchy with the heart attacked to it in her hair, putting it up in the usual side ponytail.

"Morning, Mist." He told her,

"Morning." She replied as he went up to him and kissed his cheek. "Me and the girls are going shopping for some Kimonos for tomorrow nights dance. What about you boys?" she asked him.

"We might go looking for Kimono's as well." Ash told her as he still recalled the first time they had danced. "Man, it's been a good while." Ash recalled still.

"Don't I know it. Now go ahead and get ready. I'll be outside with the others." She told him.

"Right. Gotcha, Mist." He replied before he went into the bathroom.

It took him a few minutes, but he went outside when he was ready and he joined the others outside.

"Well now. Someone slept in a good bit." Dawn teased.

"Oh ha ha, Dawn. At least I'm ready." Ash retorted.

Dawn playfully stuck her tongue out as she closed her eyes.

"Oh boy! Well, right now—" "We're all ready!" Gastly said as he put his face over Misty's. Misty yelped and jumped right into Ash's arms. "CAN YOU NOT DO THAT?" Misty shouted, very annoyed.

Gastly only laughed. "My apologies. It's hard for me to get a good laugh at times." He told her.

"Well let's get moving then. We have a few things to do today." Zoey told them all.

Once they all started to depart, Ash noticed he was still holding Misty and he put her down. "You ready?" he asked her as he smiled at her.

"You bet." She replied as she winked at him.

They departed as they went off. As they did, Gastly looked at both groups and still smiled. "A lot has certainly happened. But I wonder…" "Don't even think about it." A very familiar voice stated. Gastly looked around and saw Officer Jenny. "Oh - why, Officer Jenny?" He remarked nervously.

"I heard her scream and I knew it had to be you." She told him in a slight scolding tone as her hands were on her hips. He laughed nervously as he slowly vanished. This annoyed Officer Jenny and he would do this every year. She put her finger and thumb on her temple as she used them to rub her forehead. "Why does he do this each year?" she questioned before she headed off.

The others were walking around as they were still enjoying their time. The girls were looking at Kimonos they could use. The boys did the same as they looked around, but Gastly looked at Maiden's Peak. He still remembered what he had seen in a dream he had which looked real.

He was at a distance from Maiden's Peak as he looked at her. It was then, right there that a massive storm came out of nowhere. He watched it rage on as mountains of wind, rain and hail went all over the place. He was immensely fearful of what would happen to Maiden's Peak. Bit as the storm raged on, there were flashes of lighting and the next thing he new he was right in front of Maiden's Peak as the light flashed over it. Making it light up slightly. He gasped at how close and how the Peak freaked him out like that.

It was like she was staring right at him. Almost like looking at him as if she was alive. The scared him immensely further. But the next thing that happened is what freaked him out the most. Is that she started to crack and slowly crumble, but then she fell apart all together. All of the pieces of her falling into the water below. From there he screamed 'NO'.

He didn't realize he was staring blankly at her until Ash went up to him. "Hey Gastly. You okay?" Ash requested.

Gastly gasped and looked back at him as he came out of his trans-like state. "Huh? Ash!" he exclaimed.

"I know this is going to sound weird, but it looked like you have just seen a ghost." Ash told him.

"I-I…" Gastly stammered, but then looked back at Maiden's Peak. "You-you could say something like that." He replied to Ash.

"What all is it?" Ash requested.

"It…it happened some time ago. What seemed to be like a vision or a dream or something." He explained. "There was a raging storm. It just came out of wo where. Maiden's Peak wasn't being affected as much." He told him. "I was at a distance before I was somehow right in front of her. There was also a lot of lightning. And when I looked at her. It seemed like if she was somehow still alive." He continued on.

"Still alive?" Dawn asked as she and the others came over.

"Why yes. It looked like she was." Gastly confirmed for her. "But even as the storm raged on, Something else happened." He informed them before he paused briefly. "She-she started to crack, then her and the whole peak itself went crumbling down. Right into the water below." He told them. "I…was very disturbed by what I had seen. But then, not too long ago, something else happened." He told them.

"What is it? What happened?" Zoey requested.

"I was with Officer Jenny as this happened. Her systems went haywire." He began.

Flashback

"It was getting pretty dark. I was with Officer Jenny as she had just put a few prisoners in jail. We were about ready to head out until something happened." He stated.

"Okay, Gastly. I'd say everything is…" Officer Jenny started to say until her computer monitor started acting up. "What the hey?" She questioned. She typed away on her computer.

Gastly loomed over her, wondering what it was. "Hmm? What is it, Officer Jenny?" he requested.

"I-I don't know. It looks like. Huh?" she questioned as she saw a lot of data go over her screen. Gastly watched as well until something else happened. On her screen, it changed to where they saw two giant metal looking beings glaring at each other. One had a sword drawn as the other was in a battle stance.

"You'll never learn. Will you?" the one with the sword questioned.

"You have no idea what all I've learned. Especially while I've been trapped in your dimension." The other one replied.

"Then you have learned nothing!" the first one exclaimed.

The one without a sword fired electricity as the other one with the sword, blocked the electricity with the sword and lunged at him.

"We saw them both fight, and we had no idea what was even going on. The next thing we knew was is that the computer screen went back to normal." Gastly explained.

Flashback ends

"Even though we had no idea for what had happened. I felt like that was somehow connected to us." He told them.

"Huh! We had something similar happen to us." Dawn told Gastly.

He looked at her with a puzzled look. "You guys did?" he questioned.

"Yeah, when we were celebrating Ash's birthday – along with him Pikachu and Misty meeting on the same day. We saw what looked to be giant looking robots. We couldn't make out what they were in the portal." Zoey explained.

"No telling if will ever get solved, but let's get ourselves ready for tomorrow. We have quite a bit ahead of us." Iris reminded everyone.

They all headed on out and they continued to do some shopping. As they did, some storm clouds began popping in and Gastly saw them along with the others.

"Seems like more rain coming in." Gastly commented

"No kidding. How long until do you think it comes in?" Ash asked him.

"Probably a few hours." Gastly replied.

They managed to finish a few things, along with going back into the festival to have more of a good time. Kenny managed to play a Beedrill dart game and won Dawn a Parcharisu plushie. She smiled at him and kissed his cheek. He blushed cheekily as he smiled and rubbed the back of his had in a similar manner. Dawn smiled at him and took his arm, feeling much closer to him and they continued walking through the festival.

Paul and Zoey played a water gun game as they competed for the prize. They narrowly made it a tie, but Zoey managed to win and chose the prize that Paul would've chosen for her, He looked annoyed, but Zoey could tell he was playing with her. She kissed her boyfriends cheek and took his arm.

"Surprised I've figured out what you would've won me?" she asked him.

"Eh. Whatever." He replied, trying to look annoyed before he glanced at her through the corner of his eye as he smiled at her.

She smiled at him and went over to him as he turned to face her. She put her arms around his neck and he put his hands on her waist and they shared another kiss. As they did Calem was with Serena and they were having a good time. The two of them threw some hoops together. Calem was a bit more athletic than she was as she was still a beginner. Yet, he helped her with a couple of throws.

Drew and May rented an Altaria boat and went out on another date on the water. He had his arm wrapped around her shoulders and her head was on his shoulder. She smiled, feeling like they were ready to take the next step, but she was wondering if Drew was ready. She hoped he was because she felt like they were an item already.

Iris was enjoying a hoop game with her Axew. They tossed rings onto a Rapidash horn. She managed to get three out of five and she got herself a prize as well.

As the time passed on by, everyone went back to the Pokémon Center as the rain began to come down. Dawn and Iris decided to play a card game as Drew and May along with Ash and Misty watched it down pour. Calem and Kenny talked about their interests in contests and battles as Serena had a chat with Paul and Zoey.

Gastly was in his human form as he walked up to the window. He looked outside with the others and they looked to him.

"Hey, Gastly?" Ash questioned. "Is this like the storm you've seen?" he requested.

It was right there a lightning flash happened and the wind started to pick up. They had gotten spooked by it, not expecting to see it, but Gastly didn't even look at them.

"It is like it, but what I saw was for more severe." Gastly told them. It was right there the lights went out.

It didn't take long for Nurse Joy to come out with a flashlight. "I hope everyone is all right." She said to them.

"Yeah, we're all right." Dawn told her as Iris hit another copy of the same two cards. "Huh?" Dawn questioned.

"Ha! I got you again." Iris gloated with some laughter.

Dawn felt a tad annoyed. "That's the fourth time you've done that." Dawn stated.

"Hey, it isn't my fault you get distracted." Iris said jokingly.

They each had a small chuckle and Dawn turned to them. "This isn't even funny." Dawn told them annoyed.

"Oh, come on Dawn. It is pretty funny." Zoey commented.

"Then you have a go at her." Dawn told her as she got up.

Zoey took Dawn's spot and played against Iris. After multiple turns, Iris had a few of the same cards and Zoey only had one. They were all shocked at this.

"You said that you're ten?" Zoey asked her.

"Yep." Iris replied very cheekily.

"Let me have at her, Zoey." Drew told her. Zoey got up and Drew took her spot and they played.

As they did Ash and Misty went over to Gastly, seeing how he was focused on the storm.

"Are you, okay Gastly?" Ash asked.

"Yeah. I am. Just a little concerned about Maiden's Peak." He replied.

"Why are you worried about it?" Misty requested.

"I've helped to keep her legacy alive after all these years. I honestly don't want what I saw come true." He told them.

Nurse Joy came up next to them. "I am also worried about Maiden's Peak. That statue of her has been there for over 2000 years. I'm surprised it's still up." Nurse Joy commented as they saw more lightning flashes. It wasn't long until another lightning streak hit the base of Maiden's Peak. "What the?" Nurse Joy questioned.

"What in the…Mist! Did you see that too?" Ash asked her.

"Yeah, Ash. What!" she exclaimed as she saw some more hit all across the stone of Maiden's Peace – and some of the rock broke off.

"Oh no! Maiden's Peak!" Gastly exclaimed urgently.

"It's going to go into the water if the whole base collapses." Nurse Joy stated.

Everyone stopped watching the small competition going on and went to the window and saw what was happening.

"We've got to save Maiden's Peak." Ash told them before he started to run outside.

Misty and the others followed as nurse Joy went over to the video phone and dialed Officer Jenny. As she did, the others were running as fast as possible towards Maiden's Peak. The rain hitting every inch of them. They were hardly even there when more of the rock was blasted away by the lightning. Ash could tell they wouldn't get there in time as did Paul.

"Pidgeotto! Save Maiden's Peak." They both ordered as they released their respective Pokémon.

They each did as they were ordered and flew directly towards Maiden's Peak. Ash looked to Paul – very surprised.

"Yeah. I know. I have a Pidgeotto, too. I caught it not long after you and Misty went on that cruise of yours." Paul informed him.

"Right!" Ash acknowledged.

The others saw what they had done and they wanted to help. Drew, Calem and Iris each grabbed their poke balls. "Go Flygon/Talonflame/Emolga. Help them out." They told them in unison.

They all went to go assist the two Pidgeotto and some of them were surprised to see Talonflame and Emolga.

"If you guys are wondering about Talonflame. He's from my region." Calem told them.

"Likewise with Emolga." Iris told them.

Maiden's Peak was starting to fall down with the amount of rock that was blasted off by the lightning. All of the flying types made it and they began to grab Maiden's Peak to hold it up. The only problem was is that they couldn't hold it up as the main pillar it was on was falling.

"Oh no!" Ash exclaimed.

"Quick, Talonflame. Use Flame Charge on the pillar." Calem commanded.

Talonflame released Maiden's Peak and flew at a distance. Right as it started coming in, it cloaked itself in flame and came in fast. They all watched as Calem's Talonflame hit right below the bottom of Maiden's Peak. Right after, all the flying types began to hold it, but they had to flap incredibly hard. Seeing this, Talonflame assisted by grabbing Maiden's Peake with its own talons and it helped to bring Maiden's Peak in. As they were doing this, the rest of the rock pillar crumbled and fell into the water below.

Gastly only watched from a short distance and saw it all. Even the remainder of the pillar falling into the water below. The other Pokémon managed to bring the statue right in front of the shrine and landed, panting a good bit from how heavy the statue was.

They all looked at it, seeing how big it was up close. The felt an 'awe' feeling wash over them. Seeing the statue of Maiden's Peak this close now. Dawn about went up to touch it, until they heard a motorcycle. They all looked as they heard it stop and Officer Jenny came running around.

"Hey! Is everyone okay?" she asked as the rain hit her as well, then she saw the statue of Maiden's Peak. "What the! Maiden's Peak?" she questioned as she looked at where it was now. She then looked to the others. "What all happened?" she asked, a lot of concern in her voice.

"Well, you see…" "They saved her statue." Gastly stated as he interrupted Ash. They all looked and saw him. "The lightning kept on hitting the base of Maiden's Peak and they managed to save her statue." He informed her.

Officer Jenny looked to Maiden's Peak then to where it once was and she didn't see the pillar there anymore. "Wow! So you all did save Maiden's Peak." Officer Jenny stated as she walked over to the statue. "Albeit, I do wonder something." She added before she knelt down in front of it. "I do wonder how that story of her turning to stone even started." She said out of curiosity.

The next day, everyone was now in front of Maiden's Peak, seeing it wasn't in its original spot; but now in front of the shrine. They were at awe at seeing the statue up close. Ash and his friends were there to look at it once again, looking right at it. It was like everyone was staring at the ghost inside the statue as they felt something.

As they did, someone was making their way through the crowd of people. "Please! Please! Let me through. I must see this." He told them urgently. As the crowd parted a bit, it was the same man who told everyone of Maiden's Peak. He was completely awe struck seeing her on land for the first time. "Oh my!" he exclaimed. He slowly walked up to the statue, stretching out his arm and fingers as he did; wanting to feel it, but he knew best. "H-how? How did this happen?" he questioned.

"It was the storm we had last night." Ash spoke up. The old man and the other people looked at him.

'The-the storm?" the man questioned.

"Yeah." Ash confirmed with a nod of his head. The old man looked to where the statue once stood and saw the pillar was gone.

He then looked back to Ash and his friends. "Thank you. Thank you all so much." He told them.

"Hey, no problem." Ash replied,

"Yeah, we've handled worse." Misty reassured her.

"Either way. We'd like to try and reward you." Officer Jenny them.

Later on throughout the day, everyone was getting ready for the dance for that night. The tower was set up and the boats were being made with the candles inside of them. Not only that, but she prepared a little something for Ash and is friends for saving the Maiden's Peak Statue.

It was later on in the night everyone was now getting ready to launch the boats. Gastly only remained at a distance as he watched everyone get ready to set their boats on the water.

Each of them lit the candle on their respective boat and they put the open paper lantern given to them over the candle.

"So this is what happens at the end of each summer?" Dawn wondered.

"Mmhmm." Officer Jenny confirmed. "Each summer we sent out these boats with candle on them so the spirits from the war can find their way home." Officer Jenny told her.

"This is great. I do hope they have found their way back." May added as she and Drew put in a boat as well.

Not long after all the boats began to sail out. Gastly walked down as he watched the boats head off. He smiled a them then he changed back into his ghost form, no one even noticing, except for Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy. They looked to him as he merely watched the boats sail off. They knew what this moment meant to him, even if he wanted to make some profit, he had very good intentions.

"I'll admit this. Even though I went with those boats six years ago and returned. All the men who fought, I felt how horrific the war was." He told them.

"Wait! You did?' Officer Jenny asked, pretty puzzled.

Gastly nodded a couple of times. "With how they fought. There were hardly any survivors." He told them. "Also, I do believe peace was ensued after the war and there were three or four kingdoms that were created – if I'm remembering correctly." Gastly told them.

Officer Jenny and Nurse Joy looked at him, wondering if he meant the kingdoms that still stood.

Afterwards, everyone had gotten ready for the dance. Officer Jenny might have been in her kimono outfit, but she had a presentation for Ash and his friends.

As for with them, the boys were now ready for the dance. They all were having a conversation about the events from last night and what could be in store for Maiden's Peak. Ash was in the same kimono, but it was a bit larger from how much he had grown up. As for the other boys, Drew had on a blue kimono as Kenny had on a light green kimono. Calem wore a dark blue kimono as Paul had on a violet kimono.

"With what Gastly told us about Maiden's Peak. I further understand why there's a tale about her.

"No kidding. Especially to help keep her legacy alive." Calem noted.

"As for that storm. I'm just glad we managed to save Maiden's Peak." Ash added.

They all agreed on that before the girls came up.

"Okay guys. We're ready." May informed them.

"Yeah, and sorry we're late." Misty added.

"It took us a bit longer than anticipated." Dawn added as well.

They looked up and saw each of them in different color kimonos. Misty was in one that she wore from last time, but it was a bit larger now since she had grown up over the years. Dawn had on a blue kimono with purple flowers on it. Serena had on a red kimono with blue leaves on it. May had on a green kimono with yellow flowers on it. Iris had on a white kimono with dark blue leaves on it and Zoey had on a teal kimono with light blue reads on grass on it.

The boys looked at them in awe from what they were wearing.

"Are you guys ready to dance?" Misty requested as she went up to Ash.

"Y-yeah!" Ash exclaimed as he stammered, taking Misty's hand.

The boys went up to the girls and they went to where the dancing was until Officer Jenny went up to them.

"Huh? Officer Jenny?" Ash questioned.

"Before we do dance. We all wanted to present you all with these." She told them as she handed them not only a statue of Maiden's Peak but also a parchment of paper. "These are for you all for saving Maiden's Peak." She told them.

They looked at the items and saw that the paper had a lot of merit on it.

"I know you didn't have to, but we thank you." Ash told her.

"It's no problem. It's the least we can do." Jenny told them with a wink before she saluted them.

"Honorary citizenship?" Dawn exclaimed as she looked at the paper.

Officer Jenny put her hand down. "Yep. For those of you who weren't a citizen of Kanto, are now an honorary citizen. But those of you who are already are a citizen, have been given an honor for it." She told them.

"Jee, thank you." May told her.

"Our pleasure. Now let's dance." Officer Jenny told them.

From there they all started to dance to celebrate not only Maiden's Peak. But to also celebrate summers end as Fall was just around the corner. As they did dance, a mysterious floating figure was above the water, a distance away from them. Watching them, hearing the cherry music. Yet, this figure was none other than the Maiden herself.

As she floated above the water her own love appeared next to her. "I'm glad they're keeping my legacy alive, but it won't be needed anymore after some time." She said to him.

"Are you ready to go?" he requested.

"Yes. I am. Farewell everyone. Especially you, Gastly." She told them as she and her love floated up a tad bit before vanishing.

Gastly merely looked out as he was now next to her statue, smiling. "Fare well, Maiden." He replied, knowing she had finally left.
