Marinette's sewing machine hummed away, making a new sweater. Marinette paused, wanting Tikki's Opinion. "Do you like the colors? Tikki, what's on your mind?"

"Do you think Cat Noir seems a bit more quiet then usual?" her Kwami asked, and immediately she had Marinette's full attention. "He has seemed more tired lately, and said fewer puns," Marinette mused. She glanced at her sewing machine. "Maybe I can make something to cheer him up. I can always finish this sweater later."

Marinette grabbed some cash and her purse, heading to the craft store. Cat was her best friend, and she wanted to make him happy.

"But what should I make?" Marinette ran a hand through her black hair. Tikki popped her head out of her purse. "A stuffie. He loves cuddling, after all." "A stuffed animal! Good idea!"

Her basket now full, the last thing Marinette grabbed was a jar of buttons, excited about her new project. It took a few days, but at last, the stuffed cat was ready.

When golden hour approached, it was time for patrol, and after transforming, Ladybug grabbed the stuffie and left to see Cat.

Cat was already in the usual spot, bathed in the light of the golden sun. Keeping her gift hidden behind her back, Ladybug approached her partner quietly. "Hey," she greeted him. Cat's head whipped around, as if he had been lost in thought. "M'lady."

"I noticed you seem a bit quiet lately, and I wanted to cheer you up," she explained. "So, I made you this." She handed the gift over and sat down beside him. Cat didn't know what to say at first. "You made this for me?" "Your my partner, and have always been there for me. Now, it's time for me to be here for you. Cat?"

Cat wiped moisture from his eyes. "Thank you, Bugaboo. Pound it?" Ladybug smiled, bumping her fist against his.

Then, together they watched the sun set at golden hour, Ladybug's heart golden with happiness, happy to see Cat smile.
