True's awareness came back in little fragments. She didn't register at first exactly who was staring down at her: That is, until the person finally spoke.

"Great Gravity! True! Are you alright?" It was Zee. Thank the Force! "Do you need anything? What happened back there? Should I Get B? Or the Rainbow King?" Maybe one of the Wishes can help-" Zee was interrupted by the girl in question, who put both hands firmly on his shoulders.

True held up a hand, cutting Zee off mid-rant. "Zee, remember to breath." She told him gently, blue eyes widening a little bit upon seeing tears begin to gather in the older boy's eyes. "Zee, no. Please don't cry." True had a miner freak out at that.

Zee's wattery eyes met True's gentle gaze, and he barried his face against the younger girl's chest. "Negative Electrons! True, i-I thought y-you were dead when B first brought you here! The Wishes were all in a panic, and I just froze up like an ice statchu!" The older boy cried, voice muffled due to the fabric of the girl's t-shirt. "I-I d-didn't know what to do. Stars, True, you literally stopped breathing at one poin, and I freaked out. And scared the Wishes in the process." Zee choaks on a sob, barrying his face even deeper into True's shoulder, whimpering pitifully as tears ran down his already tearstained cheeks.

The older boy was quietly sobbing by now, and True could only rub his back comfortingly, not able to form words for a few seconds afterwords. "Shh, Zee. It's ok. I'm ok. No need to worry. I'm just peachy, Zee." The twin-tailed 12-year-old responded mutely, eyes not moving from the floor. "Honestly, Padawan. I'm perfectly alright."

Zee just blinked quizzically at her.

"Say what?" He all but spluttered over his own words, not sounding at all like his usual calm and collected self. "Of course I have to worry about you. True, you were unconscious for three days! Three days! Stars, True. I didn't know if you were ever going to wake up." By this point, Zee's composure shattered, and he lunged forwards, wrapping the startled girl in a tight hug. "Y-you nearly died, True." Zee whimpered, his grip on her tightening as he remembered that exact point in time.

True was panicking. No, scratch that: She was totally freaked out. Zee was crying. Zee never cried! What in the Living Force was she meant to do?

Taking a steadying breath, True re-sentered herself back into the real world, needing desperately to comfort her closest friend. And, if she was being completely honest with herself: True loved Zee, and more than just a normal friend should.

And, as she sat there, comforting the distressed teenager in her arms, True only had one thing on her mind.

What the kriff happened to her? And why?

True had no answers, and that just woudn't do! She wanted - no - she needed answers! But, first and formost: Zee needed True to be there for him. He was a total mess, and was also clearly shaken up about something. The so-called something that had happened to True.
