My name is April O'Neil. Splinter, Ninjara and I are driving the Battle Shell. But we're caught in a traffic jam. That traffic jam is the only thing that stands between us and the Shredder. He has the one thing that can save our friends, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles from their current predicament. I just hope we can get through this traffic jam before its too late.

Episode 22: The Incredible Shrinking Squirtles

Grace's Rhyhorn let out a yawn. In her house in Vaniville Town, Serena was getting ready to set off on a Pokémon journey. She was currently wearing a grayish-black tank-top with a white collar, a red skirt, black stockings, and black shoes. She was trying to decide what hat to wear. She was currently trying on a light purple & regular purple hat. She looked at her reflection. She smiled, but then she frowned. She wasn't satisfied wearing this one. She took the hat off and put it on her bed with some other hats. Serena was thinking about what hat to wear when she heard a knock on the door.

"Yeah. Come in," said Serena. The one who knocked entered. It was Grace, Serena's mother. Her Fletchling flew into the room. "Are you going out?" asked Grace. "Hey mom. Which one should I wear?" asked Serena, picking up two hats. One was a dark pink hat with a black bow and hatband. The other was a dark red cap. Grace thought for a moment. "I'd go with that," said Grace, pointing to the dark red cap. Serena thought for a moment. "Okay. This one," said Serena, putting on the pink hat. "If you already knew, why did you ask?" asked Grace. "Which ever you didn't pick is the cuter one. That's why," said Serena, putting on her hat. "Fletchling," said Fletchling. "I see. So where are you going?" asked Grace. "Lumiose City. To see Professor Sycamore and get my very first Pokémon!" said Serena. "Ling! Ling!" said Fletchling.

In Lumiose City, Ash has just befriended Froakie, his first Kalos Region Pokémon at Professor Sycamore's research lab. Plus, he got a new Mega Stone for his Pidgeot. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Squirtles are also staying at the lab to continue their ninja training in preparation for future battles with Shredder and Krang. Bonnie and Pikachu were running ahead. Ash, Nancy, Misty, Brock and Clemont followed after them. "Come on! Hurry up you two! Ash, you can register for the Kalos League this way!" said Bonnie. "Yeah. We know Bonnie," said Ash. "Ash has done this process the other past times," said Brock. "There's no need to rush. The Pokémon Center will still be there," said Clemont. "Thanks a lot, Clemont. It's nice of you to bring me here," said Ash. "Think nothing of it, Ash. I confess, I'm a little in awe of you and your friends," said Clemont. "In awe?" asked Ash.

"You and your ninja buddies were willing to do anything to help Pikachu and Garchomp back there. Just watching you gave me courage," said Clemont. "Oh come on. It wasn't that big of a deal," said Ash. "Yeah. Ash has done amazing feats of bravery many times before," said Misty. "It was. I can totally understand why Froakie chose you," said Clemont. Ash took out Froakie's Pokéball and looked at it. Clemont looked up toward Prism Tower. "I'll just have to do better," said Clemont quietly. "Hmm?" asked Ash. "What's up, Clemont?" asked Misty. "Sorry. Just talking to myself," said Clemont.

Meanwhile, in the woods in the middle of a park in Lumiose City, the TMNS were training. Letting out a battle cry, Leonardo threw his one of his katanas, which cut up a nearby daisy. The daisy was actually part of a camouflage hat that Raphael was wearing. Raphael took off his hat. "Oh, great. I've just been de-daisied," said Raphael. Leonardo jumped to where Raphael was at. "And you'll be pushing up daisies if we don't improve our jungle fighting techniques," said Leonardo. He used his katana to whack the hat, but Raphael put it back on his head. "Shredder could show up any time, any place," said Leonardo. "Man, Leonardo, you are such a downer," said Leonardo. Suddenly, Donatello whacked Leonardo's katana out of his hand with his bo staff. Donatello caught the katana with his staff, which stuck to it. "I believe you were saying something about improving our technique?" asked Donatello. "Very funny, Donatello," said Leonardo, reclaiming his katana.

Suddenly, everybody heard a growl from above and somebody jumped down. It was the Shredder! "It's Shredder!" said Leonardo. "We're ready for you, Shred-head," said Donatello. Donatello charged and whacked the Shredder. Raphael tried to tackle Shredder, but he dodged and the Squirtle missed. Leonardo tackled Shredder and both tumbled to the ground. The Shredder looked up and saw Leonardo looking down on him. "Ready to say uncle?" asked Leonardo.

"Chill out, dude!" said Shredder, but his voice sounded like Michelangelo's. He removed his helmet and it was Michelangelo. "Come on. It's me," said Michelangelo. "Michelangelo?" asked Leonardo. "For sure, dudes. Had you going there for a while, though, didn't I?" asked Michelangelo. He chuckled. "Where'd you get the mask?" asked Leonardo. "Hey, I made it from an old pizza tray. Where else?" asked Michelangelo.

Suddenly, everybody heard the roars of some rocket engines. They looked up and saw a flaming object descending down, yards away from where the Squirtles were at. "What was that?" asked Donatello. "It's some kind of spaceship," said Raphael. Then, part of it blew off, leaving only the orb part of it. "Whoa! Major notion!" said Michelangelo. "It's gonna crash!" said Leonardo. It crashed into the middle of the lake. "Let's go, Squirtles!" said Leonardo. He and his comrades then ran toward the lake and jumped into the water. The Squirtles swam to the bottom of the lake and saw a small purple alien inside the remains of the ship. "We've got to get him up fast!" said Raphael. Raphael opened up the ship with his sai and Michelangelo began to carry the alien up to the surface. "Up you go, guy," said Michelangelo. The Squirtles finally reached the surface. The alien began to cough. "He's still alive. Let's get him to shore quick!" said Leonardo. The Squirtles began to swim for the shore. "Man, this is one freaky-looking alien," said Michelangelo. "He probably thinks you're pretty weird, too," said Donatello.

Little did the heroes know that they were being watched by the real Shredder. He was hiding behind some bushes. "What have those meddlesome turtles stumbled upon now?" asked the Shredder. "Quick! Boil some water," said Donatello as he helped the alien onto dry ground. "We're not delivering a baby, dimbo," said Raphael. "I heard it in a movie," said Donatello as he carried the alien.

Meanwhile, Ash and co. had arrived at the Pokémon Center. Everybody was amazed at how big the Pokémon Center was. The Nurse Joy who worked there stood at the front desk. The Kalos Region Nurse Joys each wore a pink and white dress with a white collar, and the same pantyhose and shoes as the ones in Unova. Instead of a cross, her hat had a Pokéball symbol and her apron had a red symbol on it. "Good morning," said Joy. "Good morning to you, Nurse Joy," said Ash. "At this Pokémon Center, helping Pokémon in need is our #1 goal. We're here for Trainers and Pokémon alike," said Joy. "Pika," said Pikachu.

Suddenly, Brock went up to Nurse Joy and held her hand. "Here for Trainers? That's great! My name is Brock and I'm trying to become a Pokémon doctor! Might I say, that's a lovely dress you're wearing. Unique from the Nurse Joys I met back in Kanto, Johto, Hoenn and Sinnoh. It's a pity I never met any of the ones in Unova," said Brock. Suddenly, Brock's Toxicroak executed Poison Jab right in Brock's back. Brock yelped as he felt the pain and started to fall. But Misty caught Brock by the ear. "The Nurse Joys in Unova should be happy that they never met you to begin with," said Misty as she started to drag Brock away. "Not the ear! Not the ear!" cried Brock.

"Sorry about that. Brock is sadly still trying to find the girl of his dreams," said Nancy. "I was hoping you could help me register for the Kalos League," said Ash. Pikachu jumped onto Ash's shoulder. "I sure can. If you please, touch this panel with your Pokédex," said Joy, showing a touch screen on the front of her desk. "Okay," said Ash. He took out his Pokédex and put it on the touchscreen. It began to scan Ash's Pokédex. "Ash from Pallet Town is now registered to enter the Kalos League. Badges in your current possession: 0. We wish you the best of luck," said the computer. Ash then took back his Pokédex.

"You're all set now, Ash," said Clemont. "Awesome. And I'm gonna win this one too. My next step in becoming a Pokémon Master," said Ash. "And every registered Trainer is eligible to receive a Kalos League badge case here," said Joy. At that moment, a Wigglytuff appeared, carrying a badge case. Just like its pre-evolved form, Jigglypuff, Wigglytuff was a Fairy & Normal-type Pokémon. Wigglytuff resembled a larger Jigglypuff. It was pink and oval-shaped with a white stomach and short, digitless limbs. Its eyes were the same as its pre-evolution. It had a tuft on its head and long, rabbit-like ears. This particular Wigglytuff was bigger than a normal one. It was about the size of a Chansey. Nurse Joy's Wigglytuff also wore a nurse hat and apron that was just like Joy's.

"Wigglytuff," said Wigglytuff. "A Wigglytuff," said Ash. "Pika," said Pikachu. "Wow. I've never seen a Wigglytuff that big before," said Misty. "That one must be the size of a Chansey," said Brock. "Why yes. Here in the Kalos Region, my able assistant Pokémon is Wigglytuff," said Joy. "That's great," said Ash. Wigglytuff then handed Ash the badge case. "Thanks, Wigglytuff," said Ash. "Wigglytuff," said Wigglytuff. "You're all registered. Good luck. Train hard and always do your best," said Joy. "Right. Count on it," said Ash. "Pika," said Pikachu. "We can do it," said Nancy.

Back at the park, the Squirtles gathered around the purple alien. The alien woke up. "The Eye of Zarnov. You must find the three fragments of the Eye of Zarnov," said the alien. The Shredder was listening in on the conversation. "Fragments?" asked Raphael. "Three pieces of my ship fell to the earth. When they are joined, the possessor will have power undreamed of in your world," said the alien. "Undreamed of power? I like the sound of that," said Shredder. "But how can we find these fragments? They could be anywhere," said Donatello. "With this crystal converger. You can track the energy released by each fragment," said the alien, taking out strange, pointed device from his bag. Donatello then took the device. "Hurry. Before they fall into evil hands. Once assembled, their power cannot be stopped. Farewell, earthlings," said the alien. Then, he disappeared in a flash of green light. The Squirtles gasped. "Oh, whoa, man. Vaporized," said Michelangelo. "He . . . he's gone," said Leonardo. "Just the way those Squirtles will be once I locate those fragments," said the Shredder.

Ash went to contact Professor Oak on a video phone, but Rotom's face appeared on the screen, startling Ash, Pikachu, Nancy, Misty and Brock. Rotom snickered. "Hey Rotom," said Ash. Rotom moved aside and Professor Oak's face appeared on the screen. "Hello Ash. How are things so far?" asked Prof. Oak. "Great. We arrived safely in the Kalos Region. We're going to start our journey soon," said Ash. "Have fun on the road," said Prof. Oak. "Thanks," said Ash, Misty, Brock & Nancy. "I already got my first Kalos Pokémon along with a new Mega Stone. It's for Pidgeot," said Ash. "Wonderful! I'm sure Pidgeot will make great use of it," said Prof. Oak. "Check it out," said Ash. He released Froakie from his Pokéball. "Ah, what have we here? Froakie, a Kalos-type Water Pokémon," said Prof. Oak. "You're right. You know everything," said Ash. "I can't wait to catch my first Water Pokémon," said Misty.

Then, Rotom appeared again, blocking Professor Sycamore. "Hey Rotom! I can't see! Move!" said Prof. Oak. He grabbed Rotom, only to get electrocuted. It laughed as it zapped its Trainer. This was followed by an explosion. When the smoke cleared, Professor Oak's hair was all poofed up and he had dizzy eyes. Ash and his friends sweated in embarrassment.

Professor Oak tries to get Rotom out of the way, only to get zapped.

Ash, Pikachu, Nancy, Misty and Brock met up with Clemont and Bonnie outside the Pokémon Center. Clemont was looking at an electronic map. "Guys. Thanks for waiting," said Ash. "Hi, Ash. Didn't you tell us you were going to challenge the Santalune Gym first?" asked Clemont. "Yeah. I'm pretty sure the Gym Leader should be back by now," said Ash. "I can't wait to meet her," said Brock, blushing as he thought about her. "I think the best way to get to Santalune City is by traveling through Route 4 all the way there," said Clemont. "Then Route 4 it is. Aren't you psyched, Pikachu?" asked Ash. "Pika," said Pikachu. "Froakie, you're going to be great," said Ash. "Froakie," said Froakie.

"Why don't we hit the road," said Clemont. "Let's go!" said Bonnie. "Huh?" asked Ash, Misty, Brock & Nancy. "The sooner we leave, the sooner we're there," said Clemont. "You don't have to show us around anymore," said Ash. "Yes. You've done plenty for us," said Misty. "Silly guys. We're all really, really good friends now, right? So we're going with you," said Bonnie. "No joke?" asked Ash. "Pika?" asked Pikachu. "We're serious. Remember what you did back there? You three showed us what its like to have real courage! I know I can get stronger! We can both get stronger traveling with you!" said Clemont. "You're right, Clemont," said Bonnie. "So, that okay?" asked Clemont.

Ash, Misty and Brock thought for a moment. "Of course it's okay. Traveling with friends is way more fun," said Ash. "You can learn a lot about Pokémon from the three of us. A brother and sister duo traveling with us will be just like when May and Max traveled with us from Hoenn to the Kanto Battle Frontier," said Brock. Clemont and Bonnie gasped in excitement. Bonnie let out a giggle. "But . . . just make sure your sister doesn't try to play match maker between you and me, Clemont," said Misty. Clemont sweated in embarrassment, while Bonnie growled in an annoyed tone. "Just teasing. That's all," said Misty. She giggled.

"Right. It's a deal. We'll have a great time," said Ash, extending out his hand. Misty, Brock and Nancy did the same thing. "Yeah! We sure will!" said Clemont, extending his hand. Ash, Misty, Brock, Nancy and Clemont put their hands together. "Hey! No fair! I can't reach!" said Bonnie. Ash, Misty, Brock, Nancy and Clemont lowered down and Ash & Froakie jumped off of Ash's shoulder. Everybody then put their hands together. Bonnie giggled. "Let's go meet lots and lots of Pokémon!" said Bonnie. "Right!" said Ash. Bonnie giggled again. "Good friends together. Kalos here we come!" said Ash. "Yeah!" said Ash & co. "Pika!" said Pikachu. At that moment, the Battle Shell passed by Ash & co. "Hey. That's the Battle Shell, one of the Squirtles' mode of transportation," said Misty. "So that's one of their vehicles?" asked Clemont. "Yep. I wonder where they're off to?" asked Brock.

Back at her house, Serena was getting ready to leave. She now carried a pink backpack to carry her goods in it. "Rhyhorn," said Serena, approaching Rhyhorn. She kneeled down and began to pet its horn. "Gotta go. Wish me luck," said Serena. Rhyhorn let out a low growl. "So do you know which Pokémon you want?" asked Grace. "Mm-hmm," said Serena, nodding. "Which one?" asked Grace. "It's a secret. I'm off. Later," said Serena, standing up. She then began to leave. "Wait. Before you go. There's something I want to give you," said Grace. "There is?" asked Serena. She then handed Serena a Pokéball. "This Pokéball contains an extra Rhyhorn. Even though you're on a journey, I want you to keep up with your training in Rhyhorn racing," said Grace. "Okay," said Serena. But secretly, she didn't like that she had to do it. Serena began to leave. "Bye. Take care," said Grace. Rhyhorn growled again. "Don't forget to practice your Rhyhorn racing!" called Grace. "I won't! Bye!" said Serena. Grace sighed. "I guess we'll see about that," said Grace.

The Squirtles had begun their search in the Battle Shell for the fragments of the Eye of Zarnov. "Turn left. Now right," said Leonardo. "Make up your mind, will you?" asked Leonardo. "I can't help it. This crystal tracker is very sensitive," said Donatello. "See if that gizmo's got a setting for food, bud. I could use a pizza break," said Michelangelo. Raphael dope slapped Michelangelo. "Ow!" cried Michelangelo. "Will you cool it with the pizzas? We're after something big," said Raphael. "Well, all right, then. Just make it a family-sized pizza," said Michelangelo. They then parked the Battle Shell.

Little did the Squirtles know that they were being spied on by the Shredder. Baxter Stockman and Tatsu were with him too. "The fools! They're leading me to the fragments," said the Shredder. He let out a chuckle.

The Shredder then got out a communicator to contact Krang at the Technodrome. "Yes, Shredder? What is it now?" asked Krang. "Good news, Krang. I will soon have the weapon with which to destroy the Squirtles. "A weapon? What kind of weapon?" asked Krang. "The Eye of Zarnov, which is composed of three crystal fragments. The Squirtles are leading me right to the first one. Just send some Foot Soldiers on a transport module to assist me," said the Shredder. "As much as I want to, unfortunately, the transport modules are undergoing some maintenance," said Krang. "Maintenance? Why?" asked the Shredder. "Ever since Team Pansies hijacked one of our modules to escape the Technodrome, I decided to have every module reprogrammed so that only Technodrome personal can operate them. You, Baxter and Tatsu are on your own for this one," said Krang. And he turned off the communicator.

Shredder, Baxter and Tatsu weren't the only ones doing some spying. They were being spied on by none other than Team Pansies. "Did you hear that?" asked James. "Yes. Apparently, the Shredder and his goons are after something that the Squirtles are looking for," said Jessie. "If we find them, we'll find what they're after. And we'll swipe it from them and make it Team Rocket's!" said Meowth. They sniggered as they began to follow after Shredder and his two goons.

The Squirtles resumed driving. "The converger is telling us to turn here, Leonardo," said Donatello. The Battle Shell turned 'round the corner and saw a garbage truck in their path. It was backing up toward a garbage barge. "A garbage truck?" asked Leonardo. Raphael saw something glowing in the middle of the trash in the truck. It was one of the fragments of the Eye of Zarnov. "There it is!" said Raphael. The garbage truck then dumped the trash into the garbage barge. "And there it goes," said Michelangelo.

The Squirtles got out of the Battle Shell. "Ok, Squirtles, it's up to us," said Leonardo. "Are you suggesting that we go climbing through that garbage?" asked Donatello. "Hey, it's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it," said Raphael. "True, but how come that someone's always got to be us?" asked Donatello. Suddenly, a magnetic pull between the converger and the fragment activated and it along with Donatello got dragged into the barge with a crash. Donatello's legs stuck out from the garbage pile. "Does that answer your question?" asked Raphael. "Ok, guys ! Last one in is a rotten tomato!" said Michelangelo as he jumped into the barge. Leonardo and Raphael jumped in next, holding their noses. Shredder was watching the heroes. "Innocent fools. As usual, they're in over their heads," said Shredder.

The Squirtles searched until Donatello emerged, holding the fragment. "Look, guys. Jackpot!" said Donatello. "If you don't mind, I'll take that!" said the Shredder as he swung on a rope like Tarzan. He grabbed the fragment from Donatello. "Shredder!" said Leonardo. The Shredder landed on the ground on his feet. "Hey, give that back!" said Donatello as he and the others drew out their weapons. "Come and get it, mutants!" taunted the Shredder. "With pleasure, tin face," said Donatello. He charged at the Shredder with his bo. But the Shredder dodged and kicked Donatello, knocking him into a crate, breaking it. "One down, three to go," said the Shredder.

Michelangelo twirled his nunchakus as he faced the Shredder. "Say adios, dipstick. You're about to get dusted," said Michelangelo. The Shredder noticed a looped rope that Michelangelo had his foot in. The rope was attached to a crane. Shredder ran toward the crane and pulled the lever. Michelangelo got his foot tangled into the rope. "What?!" asked Michelangelo, as he was hung upside down. "I'd say the tables were turned," said Shredder. "My turn, bozo," said Raphael. "A simple challenge," said Shredder. He slashed a wooden pole in two and it fell toward Raphael, pinning him, forcing him on his stomach. "Saved by the shell," said Raphael. "See if you can handle me, Shredder," said Leonardo. "Mere child's play. Watch," said Shredder. He jumped at Leonardo and kicked him, causing his katanas to get sent flying. The katanas cut at a net and Leonardo was trapped. The Shredder chuckled. "Net result. Four trapped Squirtles. Oh, I made a funny," said the Shredder.

"Hey! We're supposed to be the villains that make puns, not you!" said a voice. The Shredder turned and saw that it was Meowth. The Shredder rolled his eyes. "Not you three morons again," said the Shredder.

(Insert "Team Rocket Motto, Kanto-Johto Version" from Pokémon)

Once again, Team Pansies began to recite their stupid motto. "Prepare for trouble!" said Jessie. "Make it double!" said James.

(Record Scratch)

The Shredder punched Team Pansies, knocking them down. "You need to find shorter introductions. Now to cut you down to size. All of you!" said the Shredder. He jumped at Michelangelo and cut him from the rope of the crane. "So much for the free ninja lesson. I have won this fragment in clean combat," said the Shredder. "You mean dirty combat?" asked Raphael. At that moment, Dee Dustin and a camera crew arrived. "At last! We've got you all right where I want you! I'll tell the whole world that you're all in league with each other!" said Dee Dustin.

Hearing this made Shredder angry. "Don't compare me to the Squirtles or Team Pansies!" said the Shredder. He fired a strange energy from the Eye Fragmet at the TMNS, Team Pansies and Dee Dustin. "What's happening?" asked Donatello. "I don't know, but it's, like, Mondo beyond-o!" said Michelangelo. Suddenly, the TMNS, Team Pansies and Dee Dustin started to shrink. "Well, an unexpected power," said the Shredder. "It's Shredder! He's getting bigger!" said Leonardo. "Wrong, Leonardo. We're getting smaller!" said Raphael. "That must be the power of the fragment. It makes things shrink," said Donatello. "Ah, great," complained Raphael. "We've been shrunk?!" asked Team Pansies. "This can't be happening! It must be some terrible nightmare!" said Dee Dustin. "This is reality, bub!" said Jessie. "At last I have you meddlesome Squirtles right in the palm of my hand. As well as the last agents of Team Rocket and a pesky reporter!" said Shredder. He reached down to try to seize his foes.

Meanwhile, Ash & his traveling group were traveling through Route 4. The group stopped until Pikachu, Nancy and Froakie sensed something. "Hey, what's up you three?" asked Ash. "What's wrong?" asked Brock. "Froa?" asked Froakie. "Pika?" asked Pikachu. Suddenly, a berry fell and bounced off Pikachu's head. "Huh?" asked everybody. Pikachu stared at the berry. Suddenly, a jolt of electricity hit the berry, sending it flying toward Bonnie. It hit Bonnie in the face, causing her to yelp and stumble down. "What was that?" asked Ash. "Bonnie, are you okay?" asked Clemont, running to her sister. "Whoa! That was a shock!" said Bonnie. "What was it?" asked Clemont. "There must be another Electric Pokémon nearby," said Nancy. "But where?" asked Misty. "Maybe it wanted this?" asked Bonnie, picking up the berry.

Then, something emerged from the tall grass. "Huh?" asked Clemont & Bonnie. "Pika!" said Pikachu, standing in a defensive position before the one that appeared. It was a small, round, orange mouse-like Pokémon, whose whiskers were in shape of antennas. It had orange pouches on its cheeks that charge electricity, and its belly was a pale yellow. It had round black ears with light yellow insides, and a long black tail with a star-like tip. It had an aradicular tooth that can be seen on its upper jaw.

"Never seen that Pokémon," said Ash. The Pokémon chirped angrily. Bonnie let out an excited squeal. "It's so cute!" said Bonnie. The Pokémon then noticed the berry that Bonnie was holding. It started to approach Bonnie, but Pikachu stood in his way, his cheeks sparking in warning. "Pika Pika!" said Pikachu. Sparks began to crackle between Pikachu's cheeks and the Pokémon's whiskers. "It sure doesn't look like it's afraid of us," said Bonnie. "They're electric types. So they can communicate with electricity," said Clemont. "Ash, Nancy and I have seen Pikachu and Zapdos communicate that way back at the Orange Islands," said Misty.

"Oh. So that's an Electric-type," said Ash. He got out his Pokédex to get data on the Pokémon. "Dedenne, the Antenna Pokémon. Dedenne communicates long distance with other Dedenne by sending radio waves through its antenna-like whiskers," said the Pokédex. "Wow. So that's a Dedenne," said Ash as he put his Pokédex away. "I want it so bad!" said Bonnie. She turned to Clemont. "You'll keep it for me, won't you?" asked Bonnie. "Keep it?" asked Ash. "Why?" asked Nancy. "He'll keep it for me until I'm old enough to become a Trainer," said Bonnie. She turned back to Clemont. "Pretty, pretty please? Promise I'll take care of it," said Bonnie. Clemont thought for a moment. "Well. She's more eager to become a Pokémon Trainer soon than Max was," said Brock. "It seems that way, Brock," said Misty.

"Let me see," said Clemont. "Aw, do it. I'll help you catch it if you want," said Ash. "You will? Thanks a lot, Ash!" said Bonnie. "Alright then. Let's catch Dedenne!" said Clemont. Bonnie then realized that Dedenne wanted the berry. "Right," said Bonnie. She went up to Dedenne. "Hey, Dedenne. You wanted this, right?" asked Bonnie, holding out the berry. Dedenne began to approach Bonnie slowly and cautiously. "It must've thought Pikachu was going to take it," said Ash. "That's right. Here, take it," said Bonnie. "Pika," said Pikachu.

Just as Bonnie was about to take the berry, a wild Fletchling swooped down and snatched the berry from Bonnie's hand with its talons. Everybody gasped. The Fletchling flew to a nearby tree branch. "Hey! What's the big idea?!" asked Ash. "We've never seen that Pokémon either," said Misty. "It's a Fletchling!" said Clemont. "No fair! That berry belongs to Dedenne!" said Bonnie. But the Fletchling just greedily gobbled up the berry. Everybody gasped. "Fletchling ate the berry," said Clemont. Ash got out his Pokédex to get data on Fletchling. "Fletchling, the Tiny Robin Pokémon. Although Fletchling's chirp is quite beautiful to hear, it is relentlessly tough with those who enter its territory," said the Pokédex.

Pikachu turned and saw Dedenne's eyes were starting to water and gasped. "Froakie," said Froakie to get everybody's attention. Everybody gasped. "Dedenne. What's the matter?" asked Bonnie. Dedenne ran off, sobbing. "Dedenne, wait!" cried Bonnie. But it was too late. It disappeared into the tall grass. Bonnie looked like she was going to cry herself. "I don't think its going to come back," said Clemont. Froakie then jumped and threw some of its frubbles at Fletchling. Fletchling dodged them, one by one. "It dodged all of them!" cried Clemont. "Look at that. Fletchling's fast. Alright, I'm going to catch that Fletchling now!" said Ash. Fletchling glared at our heroes. "Fletchling," said Fletchling.

Back at Lumiose City, the Shredder reached out to grab his shrunken foes. "Now to crush you meddlesome fools, one by one!" said the Shredder. "Guess again, frying pan face!" said Raphael. They scattered before Shredder could grab them. "Blast you!" said Shredder. He tried to grab them, but they were too fast. "Stand still, you little shrinkers!" said Shredder. The Shredder tried to tackle Leonardo, but he missed and crashed into some boxes. "What do we do now, Leonardo? This thing is getting heavy," said Donatello, still holding the crystal tracker. "I say it's time to haul shell!" said Leonardo. Shredder tried to stomp on James, but he was too fast. "Come back and fight like men, you mutants and morons!" said the Shredder. The Squirtles hid behind some boxes. "You guys go on. I can't run any farther," said Donatello. "We'll make our stand here!" said Leonardo. "Kind of like Custer did?" asked Raphael. Suddenly, Shredder found our heroes. "Who needs Foot Soldiers when a single foot will take care of you insects?" taunted Shredder. He raised his foot, ready to stamp the Squirtles.

Suddenly, the garbage truck from before began to head for Shredder. "Here comes the cavalry!" said Michelangelo. The Shredder ran out of the way. The truck rammed the boxes, which sent the TMNS flying. "Look out!" cried the Squirtles. When Shredder recovered, he saw his enemies were nowhere in sight. "No. It can't be. They've escaped. But I have the first fragment of the eye of Zarnov, and soon its limitless power shall be mine!" said the Shredder.

As the Shredder was leaving, Team Pansies emerged from their hiding places. "I thought he'd never leave!" said James. "We got to find a way to change ourselves back to normal!" said Jessie. "Otherwise we'd be stuck like this forever!" said Meowth. Dee Dustin was fuming about his current situation. "I can't go back to Burnes like this! It'll be the end of my career!" said Dee Dustin.

Ash prepared to try to catch the wild Fletchling. "Fletchling's a Flying-type. Pikachu has the advantage as an Electric-type," said Clemont. "I just hope Pikachu doesn't overdo it, otherwise we'll be getting one extra crispy Fletchling," said Misty. "But Pikachu knows when to restrain his own power," said Nancy. Froakie saw that Bonnie still had tears in her eyes. But she did her best not to cry. "Okay, Pikachu! Let's go!" said Ash. "Pika!" said Pikachu.

Suddenly, Froakie stood in front of Pikachu. "Froakie!" said Froakie. He jumped into the air. "Huh?" asked Ash. "Pika?" asked Pikachu. Froakie began to throw frubbles at Fletchling. But Fletchling dodged them, one by one. "Come on, Froakie! We don't even have a plan!" said Ash. He turned to Pikachu. "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!" said Ash. "Pikachu!" said Pikachu, stepping forward. Pikachu's cheeks began to spark. "Pikaaaaa . . . ," said Pikachu. But once again, Froakie gestured to Pikachu to stand down. Froakie prepared to use a Bubble. But Fletchling started to create afterimages of itself. "It's using Double Team!" said Clemont. Clemont fired the large bubble at Fletchling and its duplicates. It only destroyed the duplicates. Fletchling charged with its beak glowing. It pecked Froakie right in the gut, which sent the frog Pokémon crashing into a tree, back first.

Froakie began to fall. "Froakie!" cried Ash as he ran to catch him in his arms. He managed to just in time. "Froakie, are you okay?" asked Ash. "Kie," said Froakie. "Take it easy. Just let Pikachu handle this," said Ash. "Pika Pika," said Pikachu. "Froakie," said Froakie, turning to Bonnie. "Huh?" asked Bonnie. Suddenly, Froakie broke free of Ash. Ash gasped. "Wait!" cried Ash. Froakie turned its attention back to Fletchling. "Froakie!" said Froakie. Froakie jumped into the air again. "Wait, Froakie!" cried Ash. "Hold on. Didn't Professor Sycamore say that Froakie had a habit of ignoring its Trainer when battling?" asked Clemont. "I'm starting to understand," said Ash. "Huh?" asked Clemont. "The stories of Froakie leaving its Trainers. I get it," said Ash. "Huh?" asked everybody.

The TMNS managed to flee into the city. They were hiding in an alleyway. "We've gotta make it home before we get even smaller," said Leonardo. "And quick. We're shrinking faster than a pair of cheap underwear," said Raphael. They saw a sewer grate across the street. "Okay, the coast is clear," said Leonardo. The TMNS began to head for it, carrying the crystal tracker. They stopped before somebody walked by. "Hey, watch it, Bigfoot!" said Michelangelo. They ran to the edge of the curb and jumped off, into a puddle. "We made it," said Donatello.

Suddenly, somebody stepped into the puddle and the Squirtles got soaked. "Oh, thanks a lot, fella!" yelled Raphael. "Cheer up, Squirtles. At least things can't get any worse," said Leonardo. "Oh, no? Scope that out!" said Michelangelo, pointing to an incoming water truck. "A watering truck! Head for the high ground!" said Leonardo. "I've got news for you. The high ground is too high," said Donatello. Suddenly, they got splashed by the water from the truck. The water began to carry them toward the sewer grate. "Remember, we're at home under the water," said Leonardo. "Just keep telling me that!" said Raphael. They fell, screaming into the sewers. "There's gotta be an easier way to get home than this," said Donatello.

The Squirtles arrived to their sewer lair, where both Splinter and Professor Sycamore were waiting. "Hmm. It would seem we have quite a large problem," said Splinter. "Please, sensei, must you use the word 'large'?" asked Raphael. "And one that requires immediate action," said Prof. Sycamore. Splinter took out his Shell Phone to contact April. "April, this is Splinter. Please respond," said Splinter.

April, Irma and Vernon had finished setting up their equipment and stuff at a warehouse they rented until their Kalos adventures were done. Ninjara was helping too. "There. I think we've got everything all set up," said Vernon. At that moment, April's shell phone began to ring. "It's the shell phone," said Ninjara. April got out the said device. "Hello?" asked April. "April, are you there?" asked Splinter. "It's me, Splinter," said April. "April. You are needed most urgently. It's an emergency. Come to Professor Sycamore's laboratory immediately," said Splinter. "I'm on it," said April. She turned off the shell phone. "Guys, I'm needed at Professor Sycamore's lab. It's an emergency," said April. "I'm coming with you," said Ninjara. And she and April began to run off. "I wonder what the professor wants with April?" asked Irma.

The Shredder was currently talking to Krang on the communicator. "Unlimited power?" said Krang. "Yes. With it, I have literally cut the Squirtles, Team Pansies and an annoying reporter down to size," said the Shredder. "As in, you shrunk them?" asked Krang. "Yes," said the Shredder. "Did you capture them after you shrunk them?" asked the Shredder. "Well, uh . . . ," said the Shredder. "You let them escape?!" yelled Krang. "Don't worry. I'll find them. Even if it means I have to tear this city apart, building by building," said Shredder. "You better," said Krang. And he turned off the communicator.

April drove the Battle Shell, with Splinter and Ninjara tagging along. "Thank you, April, for answering my call. We must find Shredder and that alien fragment before he uses it to do further damage," said Splinter. "Those poor Squirtles. Less than six inches high," said April. On one of the monitors of the battle shell, a news reporter's face appeared on the screen. "We interrupt this commercial to bring you a special bulletin!" said a news reporter. "Interrupt a commercial?" asked Ninjara. "It must be big news!" said April. "The Prism Tower is actually shrinking," said the news reporter. A crowd of people watched as it was shrinking. Some people ran for their lives, out of the tower. "Shredder!" said April & Ninjara. "Precisely. Now he's turned that fragment on innocent people," said Splinter. "Hang on, Splinter. Next stop, the Prism Tower," said April as she put the pedal to the medal. "It's being reported that this is just one of many midtown buildings that have been shrunk," said the reporter. Someone was stuck in the small doorway as the tower was nearing the end of the shrinking process. "Come on, mister! Hurry! You're the last one left!" said Jenny. She yanked the person out just in time. The Prism Tower then fully shrunk.

The Shredder had placed all the buildings he shrunk into a display case at his hideout in an abandoned cheese factory. Baxter and Tatsu were with him too. "Ah, the alien crystal has done its work beautifully," said Shredder. "Oh, yes, master. Magnificently," said Baxter. "And this will be the crown jewel in my collection," said Shredder as he held the Prism Tower in his hand. "Now Krang will have to send me my Foot warriors," said Shredder. He turned to Tatsu. "Tatsu, find the Squirtles and bring them to me," said the Shredder. "At once," said Tatsu. And he left Shredder's hideout to do his task.

Meanwhile, the Battle Shell was caught in a traffic jam. "It's hopeless. By the time we get there, Shredder will be gone," said April. "We must retrieve the alien crystal, or I dread to think what may befall the city," said Splinter. "I'm more worried about the Squirtles, especially Raphael," said Ninjara.

Back at Professor Sycamore's lab, the TMNS were feasting on a single slice of pizza. Merissa the Primarina was watching over the Squirtles. "Well, one good thing about being tiny," said Donatello. "Yeah, one slice of pizza is enough for all of us," said Raphael. "Like, speak for yourself, dude," said Michelangelo. Merissa shook her head. "Oh guys," said Merissa. As the Squirtles were munching on their pizza slice, everybody heard a window shatter. It was Tatsu, bursting through the skylight. "Uh-oh! It's Tatsu!" cried Leonardo. Tatsu spotted the Squirtles with Merissa. "We can do this the easy way or the hard way. Surrender the Squirtles to me and you won't get hurt, lady," said Tatsu.

Merissa thought for a moment. She turned to the Squirtles. "This is my answer to your offer," said Merissa. She picked up all four of the Squirtles. "That's a good girl," said Tatsu. But instead of giving the Squirtles to Tatsu, she winked at Tatsu, sending multiple pink hearts from her eye at Tatsu. This was her Baby-Doll Eyes attack. When the hearts hit Tatsu, he become infatuated. While Tatsu was dazed, Merissa used that time to make a run for it. She jumped into the city's canal and transformed into her true form. Tatsu regained his senses and saw Merissa was gone. "Curses! I must find them quickly or the Shredder will have my head!" said Tatsu. And he ran to try to find Merissa and the Squirtles.

Back at Route 4, Fletchling executed a Peck attack on Froakie again. The blue frog was sent crashing to the ground. But he managed to land on his feet. "Stop Froakie! Just chill out!" said Ash as he grabbed Froakie. "You're only going to end up hurting yourself!" said Ash. "Froa! Froakie!" said Froakie. "I know how you feel, Froakie. But you've got to listen to me," said Ash.
"Froa?" asked Froakie. "Ash!" called Clemont. Ash looked up and saw Fletchling was charging with its wings glowing. It repeatedly waved them, causing bright white, crescent-shaped energy waves to be fired at Ash & co. Everybody barely dodged the attack. "Everybody okay?" asked Ash. "Froa?" asked Froakie. "Pikachu, Nancy, Froakie?" asked Ash. "Misty, Brock, Clemont, Bonnie, are you guys okay too?" asked Ash. "Yeah, Ash. We're all right," said Clemont. "That Fletchling sure has a fighting spirit," said Brock. "Pika," said Pikachu.

"Froakie, I understand. You wanted to get even with Fletchling for making Bonnie sad," said Ash. "Froa," said Froakie. Bonnie and the others went up to Froakie. "Is that true?" asked Bonnie. Suddenly, she hugged Froakie. "Thank you, Froakie!" said Bonnie. She giggled as she hugged Froakie and rubbed cheeks with him. But she was hugging too hard, as indicated by Froakie's cheeks turning red. "But you can't do that without a plan," said Ash. Everybody watched as Fletchling flew above them. "Okay. Fletchling can fly," said Ash. "Maybe I can build something that can help," said Clemont. "Thanks for the offer, but I actually have the perfect Pokémon to help Froakie. And it can fly too," said Ash. "Froa?" asked Froakie.

Ash got out a Poké Ball and turned his cap backwards. "Pidgeot, go!" said Ash. He threw the ball and Pidgeot was summoned. It let out a squawk. Ash, Pikachu and Froakie jumped onto Pidgeot's back. "Pidgeot, let's go after that Fletchling!" said Ash. Pidgeot nodded. Pidgeot took to the skies with Ash, Pikachu and Froakie riding it. "Fletch?" asked Fletchling. Pidgeot let out a loud squawk. Fletchling screamed at the sight of how big Pidgeot was and began to fly away. "Don't let it get away!" said Ash. Pidgeot began to fly after Fletchling. "Wait for us!" cried Misty. And she and the others ran after Ash, Pikachu, Froakie, Pidgeot and Fletchling.

"Shredder! Shredder, this had better be good. I'm in the middle of overseeing repairs to the Technodrome's outer armor," said Krang. "I'd thought I'd show you what else I've shrunken with the crystal fragment. Behold!" said the Shredder, showing him the shrunken buildings. "Is this some sort of joke? I asked for petrified Squirtles, and you bring me toy buildings! I want those Squirtles! And I want them now!" said Krang. "Patience. Even as we speak, Tatsu is searching the city for them. He should be finding them any minute now. They're as good as captured," said Shredder. "I hope so, for your sake!" said Krang. And he turned off the communicator.

But suddenly, the communicator turned back on, but by Tatsu, using his. "This is Tatsu, calling Shredder. I found the Squirtles with that Primarina at Professor Sycamore's lab," said Tatsu. "That is good," said Shredder. "But the girl escaped with the Squirtles," said Tatsu. "That is bad! Find them, immediately!" said Shredder. "Yes, master. I have a feeling where they might have gone," said Tatsu. "Let's hope that you're right. But I'm sending Baxter Stockman to help you," said the Shredder. He turned to Baxter. "Go and meet up with Tatsu," said Shredder. "At once," said Baxter. And he left to meet up with Tatsu.

Merissa found a place to hide within the waters of the Lumiose City Canal. The Squirtles peeked out of Merissa's breast cleavage. "Nice job with pulling a fast one of Tatsu," said Leonardo. "Thanks, Leo," said Merissa. But then, everybody heard the noise of some beeping. "What's that noise?" asked Donatello. "What noise?" asked Raphael. "It sounds like the beeping of a machine or something," said Donatello. Merissa looked and saw the beeping was coming from a small bomb. She gasped. "It's a bomb!" cried Merissa. She began to swim away from the bomb just before it exploded. But as the Primarina was swimming with the Squirtles in tow, a fishing net was thrown and the five were caught. Merissa screamed and struggled to get out. The one who threw the net was Baxter Stockman. Tatsu was with him. "Well, what do we have here? Why, it's a rare species of soon-to-be extinct Squirtles along with a Primarina," said Baxter. "Baxter!" cried Merissa.

Pidgeot chased Fletchling until they were in a rocky area of Route 4. Fletchling landed on a ledge and panted. Pidgeot was now above it. Misty and the others managed to catch up. They panted. "Man, I forgot how fast Pidgeot flies," said Nancy. "Me too," said Misty. "Me three," said Brock. "This is it! The perfect place to battle! Time to settle the score!" said Ash. "Settle the score?" asked Bonnie. "He means he's going to catch Fletchling," said Clemont. "Yup. Together. I'm your Trainer, right? That means it's you and me," said Ash. "Froakie," said Froakie. "Right. This whole area will be the battlefield. It's full of high and low places. And with your awesome jumping skills, you'll rock," said Ash. "Kie," said Froakie. "I have no idea of what any of that meant," said Bonnie. "I think I do," said Brock.

"Go, Froakie! Ready?" asked Ash. "Froa!" said Froakie as jumped off Pidgeot's back and descended toward the ledge where Fletchling was at. Fletchling took to the sky again. "Yeah! Now jump higher!" said Ash. "Ash is taking advantage of all the different ledge heights and combined with those amazing jumping skills, Froakie will have even more mobility," said Clemont. Froakie ran after Fletchling. "Now, use Water Pulse!" said Ash. Froakie jumped off the side of a ledge and hurled the said attack at Fletchling. But Fletchling dodged the attack. "Make it hard to fly!" said Ash. Froakie jumped into the air and he threw its frubbles once again. Fletchling flew to dodge them, one by one. Fletchling then saw what appeared to be Froakie and charged, ready to do another Peck attack. But when it got closer, it saw that it was frubble decoy. It tried to stop, but it was too late. SPLAT! It crashed into the frubble decoy and was covered in the stick goop. Fletchling started to shake the stuff off. "It's a decoy!" said Clemont. "Sneaky," said Misty.

"Great, Froakie! Now, Bubble! Go!" said Ash. Froakie began to spit bubbles at Fletchling. Fletching flew to try to dodge them. But it couldn't. It got hit by one of the bubbles and began to fall out of the sky. "Alright! Go, Poké Ball!" said Ash. He threw the ball at Fletchling. The Poké Ball hit Fletchling and the bird Pokémon was scooped up into the ball. The Poké Ball fell to the ground and Froakie jumped down to where Ash and his friends were at. The Poké Ball wobbled as the center button glowed red. But suddenly, the Poké Ball opened up and Fletchling was free again. It wasn't finished yet. "Ling!" said Fletchling. "No! It didn't work!" said Bonnie. "You were so close!" said Clemont.

Fletching executed its Razor Wind attack once again. "It's attacking! Jump above it and attack it again!" said Ash. Froakie dodged the Razor Wind attacks as it climbed up the ledges. It soon jumped into the air where Fletchling was. "Water Pulse!" said Ash. "Froakie!" said Froakie as he fired Water Pulse once again. "Ling!" cried Fletchling as it got hit. Fletchling then began to fall. "This time, for sure," said Ash. He turned his cap backwards. "Go, Poké Ball!" said Ash. He threw the ball and Fletching was scooped up into it. The Pokéball wobbled once again as the center button glowed. But then, the wobbling stopped and a ding, sounded. Fletching had been captured. "Yeah!" said Ash. He ran up to the Pokéball and picked it up. Everybody gasped in amazement, while Bonnie chuckled. "I caught a Fletchling!" said Ash as he raised the Pokéball into the air, victoriously. "Pi Pikachu!" said Pikachu. "Oh yeah!" said Nancy. "Froakie!" said Froakie.

Froakie collapsed to the ground, tired. He panted. Ash and his friends gathered around Froakie. "You okay, Froakie? I caught a Fletchling because of you," said Ash. "Kie," said Froakie. "Pika Pika," said Pikachu. "Wasn't that amazing?" asked Bonnie. "Sure was. Froakie's jumping kept getting better and better. Same with your teamwork," said Clemont. Ash picked up Froakie. "Yeah," said Ash. "Even though its been almost a whole year since I last traveled with you, you still impress me with your skills at catching new Pokémon," said Brock. "I hope Brock and I get new Pokémon too," said Misty. "I'm starting to learn a lot more about Froakie, thanks," said Ash. Pikachu jumped onto Ash's shoulder. "Pika Pika," said Pikachu. "Froa," said Froakie as he did a high five with Pikachu.

Meanwhile, as April and Splinter were driving through the city, Splinter sensed something. "Hmm. This is most strange," said Splinter. "What is it, Splinter?" asked April. "I left the Squirtles with Merissa at Professor Sycamore's laboratory. Yet I sense they are close by. The connection between sensei and student is very strong," said Splinter. "I hope you're wrong. In their present condition, they wouldn't last long in a neighborhood like this," said April. "Yes, they are now quite close. My bond with the Squirtles has not diminished, even if they have. Please, turn here. There! That is!" said Splinter.

The Shredder had the Squirtles put in jar, while Merissa was tied up and gagged. "Well, Krang, what have you to say now?" asked the Shredder. "Perhaps I have underestimated your evil abilities after all," said Krang. "My thoughts exactly," said Shredder. "What have you to say now, mini-mutants?" asked Krang. "You'll never get away with this, Krang!" said Donatello, banging on the jar. "Huh?" asked the other Squirtles. "Well, you got to admit it sounded good," said Donatello. Shredder put the jar down and took out a crowbar. "And now, Krang, for your viewing pleasure, you shall witness the final agonizing moments of the Squirtles' demise," said Shredder. "Splendid! Let the show begin. If I had hands, they'd be sweating in anticipation," said Krang. "Can't we discuss this like human beings?" asked Donatello. "Nice try, Donatello," said Raphael. "Sayonara, Squirtles," said Shredder as he raised the crowbar. Merissa closed her eyes.

But before Shredder could deliver the killing blow, he heard a crash. It was the Battle Shell, busting the door down. The Shredder saw Splinter jump out of the roof of the Battle Shell. "Splinter!" said Shredder. "Yes, Shredder. I have returned to teach you a new lesson," said Splinter. The Shredder charged, still armed with the crowbar. "Feeble rodent! I will do the teaching!" said Shredder. He tried to whack Splinter, but he used his feet to stop Shredder from whacking him. Splinter then caused the crowbar to fly out of the Shredder's hands and hit the communicator, destroying it. In the Technodrome, the screen Krang was watching Shredder with showed nothing but white noise. "Infernal technical difficulties! And just when the show was getting interesting," said Krang.

The Shredder tried to slash Splinter, but he ducked. Splinter then jumped out of the way of another attack. "Not bad for a rusty, old has-been," said Shredder. "One with a face made of metal should not use the word 'rusty'," said Splinter. Shredder then kicked Splinter in the gut, knocking him down. Splinter crashed into the table, which knocked down the jar containing the Squirtles. "Hey, let me out of here!" said Raphael as the jar rolled. Splinter then kicked Shredder in the gut and he clutched his gut. "Try again, Shredder," said Splinter. "I intend to!" said Shredder. He once again tried to slash Splinter, but he dodged that attack too. The jar stopped near a large piece of machinery. "Oh, what a ride. My brain feels like tofu," said Raphael. Splinter punched Shredder, sending him flying. Splinter jumped after him.

As Splinter and Shredder fought each other, April and Ninjara emerged from the Battle Shell. "April, Ninjara, over here. We're behind this big hunk of junk," called Leonardo. April and Ninjara went up to the machine and found the small Squirtles. "Squirtles, is that you?" asked April. "Yeah, what there is of us," said Leonardo. April and Ninjara gasped. "I can't believe it. You're so tiny," said Ninjara. "Look, April, Ninjara, this is no time for small talk," said Raphael. "Quick! Aim that crystal at us. A second jolt might reverse the effect," said Donatello. "You mean we might get bigger?" asked Leonardo. "Well, we can't get much smaller, Einstein," said Michelangelo. "It's worth a try," said April as she went to get the crystal.

Shredder kicked Splinter, knocking him onto a conveyer belt. "Ha ha! Advantage Shredder," said Shredder as he pulled the lever to operate the conveyer belt. The conveyer belt began to move and the machine began to wrap the cheese that was on the belt. Shredder had Splinter in a hand lock to pin the mutant Raticate to the conveyer belt. "It's useless to struggle against the Shredder grip of steel," taunted Shredder. "Quick, April, turn on the beam!" said Leonardo. "I'm not sure how," said April. "Neither are we. It just sort of happened," said Donatello. Just then, the crystal began to glow. "Something's happening, but I don't know what!" said April. The Eye of Zarnov then fired a beam at the jar containing the Squirtles. "Whoa, man," said Michelangelo. "Yeah, it feels like an intergalactic tanning booth," said Donatello. Then, their bodies began to grow. "It's working. We're starting to grow," said Leonardo. The jar started to bulge as they were growing. "Smothered by a cheese-wrapping machine. Heh, heh. A fitting end for a rat," said Shredder. The jar broke when the Squirtles returned to their normal size. In the process, Donatello's bo was sent flying. It destroyed the controls to the conveyer belt, stopping it, just as Splinter was inches from the machine.

"What? It stopped!" said Shredder. "While I have just started," said Splinter. He smacked Shredder, knocking him down. He saw the crystal was next to him. "Ah-ha! The crystal! You may have won this time, Splinter, But I still have this!" said Shredder. "Quickly, master!" said Baxter as he opened a panel in the floor. "This way!" said Tatsu. "Till the next time, Squirtles. Au revoir!" said the Shredder. "He's getting away with the crystal. We must stop him," said Leonardo. They got out their weapons and gave chase, but Splinter stood in their way, holding out his hand. "It is useless to try. He is gone," said Splinter. "I feel we failed you, master," said Leonardo. "It is all part of the learning process, Leonardo. Even our mistakes can serve as teachers," said Splinter. Leonardo then went up to the tied up Merissa. He began to cut the ropes that bound his girlfriend.

The Shredder, Baxter and Tatsu found a new hideout and contacted Krang. "I may have failed to kill our enemies, but at least we still have the first fragment of the Eye of Zarnov," said Shredder. "And did you say that there are two more fragments?" asked Krang. "Yes," said Shredder. "Excellent work. Make sure that our other enemies don't get their hands on the others," said Krang. "Of course," said Shredder. "Once the transport modules are finished being upgraded, I'll be able to send more of our forces up to the surface," said Krang. "Good," said Shredder.

"Come on out, Fletchling!" said Ash as he released Fletchling out of its Pokéball. "Fletch. Fletchling," said Fletchling. It flew down to where Ash & co. were at. "From now on. We're going to be good friends. All of us," said Ash. "Fletchling, tell me when you get hungry next time. 'Cause stealing other Pokémon's food is bad," said Bonnie. "Bonnie's right," said Nancy. "Fletchling," said Fletchling, feeling ashamed. "Okay. You're forgiven," said Bonnie. "How about an Oran Berry to celebrate our friendship?" asked Clemont, taking out a couple of Oran Berries. "You too, Pikachu and Froakie," said Clemont. Pikachu, Froakie and Fletchling began to snack on the Oran Berries. "Great. All right. Let's head to the Santalune Gym!" said Ash. As Ash and co. were leaving, they were being watched the Dendenne from before. And so, Ash has another new friend. Now, as Ash, Misty, Brock, Clemont and Bonnie set their sights on Santalune City, our Pokémon journey truly begins!

Back at New Tory City, April did a news report of the whole shrinking event. The buildings returned to their normal size on their own. The Squirtles, Splinter, Ninjara and Merissa were watching it in the lounge of Professor Sycamore's laboratory. Michelangelo wasn't present. "And just as mysteriously as it started, this entire shrinking business stopped. Hopefully one day the true story behind this incredible event can be revealed," said April. "Yeah. The same day we Squirtles can walk around the city like regular people," said Raphael, turning off the TV. "Speaking of things shrinking, so is my stomach. Where the heck is Michelangelo with those pizzas?" asked Donatello. "Yeah! He sure is taking his sweet time," said Raphael.

"Ta-da!" said Michelangelo as he entered, carrying six boxes of pizzas. "All right, dudes, it's scarfing time!" said Michelangelo. All right! I'll do the slicing," said Leonardo, taking out his katanas. "Hey, just scope out these babies," said Michelangelo as he opened the pizza boxes. But when he opened them, they saw the pizzas were very small. "Babies? These things haven't even been born yet," said Raphael. "Is this some kind of a sick joke?" asked Donatello. "Well, ask Splinter. It was his idea," said Michelangelo. Leonardo, Donatello and Raphael glared at Splinter. "I had them specially made for my small students. To remind them they still have a long way to grow," said Splinter. The Squirtles, Merissa and Ninjara devoured the pizzas while Splinter chuckled.

Elsewhere in the lab, somebody entered the front entrance. It was Serena. "Hello? Is Professor Sycamore around?" asked Serena. At that moment, the said professor heard Serena's voice and arrived. He was on the second floor. "That's me. I'm up here," said Prof. Sycamore. "Huh? Hello there. I'm Serena," said Serena. Professor Sycamore began to walk down the stairs. "I'll bet you're here to become a Pokémon Trainer," said Prof. Sycamore. "Yep," said Serena as she walked up to Professor Sycamore. "Also Professor, I saw this Trainer on the news. Report was about he and those Ninja Squirtles saved a Garchomp," said Serena. "Oh. You're talking about Ash," said Prof. Sycamore. Ash! I knew it!, thought Serena. "I'm afraid he already left. He said he was going to challenge the Santalune Gym," said Prof. Sycamore. "Santalune Gym," said Serena quietly.

The TMNS happened to be listening in on the conversation. "Who's that?" asked Donatello. "I don't know. But it seems that she's interested in Ash," said Leonardo. "Ooh. Look's like Ash has got himself a fan girl," said Michelangelo. Raphael dope slapped Michelangelo. "Ow!" said Michelangelo. "Quiet. She'll hear us, you bums," said Raphael.

"Professor, can I choose a Pokémon?" asked Serena. "Of course. And do you have any idea of Pokémon you would like?" asked Prof. Sycamore. Serena nodded. "Alright. Everybody out," said Prof. Sycamore. Sophie appeared with the three starter Pokémon. Professor Sycamore recently got a new Froakie. The second starter seemed to resemble a porcupine or hedgehog. It had a tough spiky green chestnut-like shell covering its head and back. Chespin had brown fur, a large orange triangle-shaped nose, black oval-shaped eyes, and a toothy grin. It had sharp claws on its large feet, and an orange tip on the end of its pointed green tail. There was also a small, fox-like Pokémon. It had yellow, orange and white fur. The fur on its long, pointy muzzle was white, while its body was mainly covered in bright yellow fur. It had fluffy tufts of vibrant, flame-orange fur protruding from its ears. Its eyes were round and bright orange with slit pupils. Its nose was round and black. It had a short, bushy yellow tail with an orange tip, similarly shaped to the tail of Zorua.

"These are the new Kalos Pokémon new Trainers can choose from. Fennekin, Chespin and Froakie. Which Pokémon will you choose as your partner," said Prof. Sycamore. Fennekin was the name of the fox, while Chespin was the spiky mammal. Serena then began to think of what Pokémon to choose.

Meanwhile, in the park, Team Pansies were still teeny weeny. It appears it takes longer for the shrinking effects to wear off on humans than buildings. "This is certainly our most humiliating predicament in our entire criminal careers," said Meowth. "How long til the effects wear off?" asked Jessie. "I heard Shredder say it'll wear off tomorrow," said James. "I wish tomorrow would come soon," fumed Jessie impatiently. Suddenly, they heard the footsteps of something large approaching them. The three small thieves turned around and saw a hungry Zigzagoon. It licked its lips hungrily. Team Pansies screamed high pitched screams and began to make a run for it. The Zigzagoon chased after then.

Dee Dustin who was still small also was being chased by a hungry Pokémon. In his case, he was being chased by a Rattata. "Stay away from me, you oversized rodent!" cried Dee Dustin. Both Team Pansies and Dee Dustin were actually running toward each other. They crash into each other and toppled over. "Who's chasing you?!" Team Pansies & Dee Dustin asked each other. "A Zigzagoon!" cried Team Pansies. "A Rattata!" cried Dee Dustin. Then they resumed running and screaming from their pursuers. It was truly a rotten day for Team Pansies and Dee Dustin.
