So mostly just a little transition chapter as we wait for the heroes to put two and two together
Just then Jonathan arrived home, he sighed deeply.
"Ichabod," Jonathan said "I just had a talk with Zeb and Taylor...I got them to mostly smooth things over between themselves, but you might want to talk with Zeb once your wounds are healed...As it is pretty clear to me that Zeb has obviously suffered from what was your...Unintentional favoritism toward Taylor."
Ichabod sighed, ever since he was a little boy he dreamed about growing up, getting married and having his own children because he was so often lonely the native children of Planet Alderbaren wouldn't play with him, and the other Rogue children Alice and Pandora would only occasionally like once a year at MOST! And Joker's son Jack...They weren't friends at all! This was something Ichabod feared would happen if he had more than one child, that he would naturally gravitate to one of the children and having a favorite would cause jealousy and strife among the siblings! The Mutant Cubs were not his biological children, but because of the magical accident, they were his spiritual descendants!
"That aside…" Don said as he listened to the story of sibling rivalry particularly over who's 'the favorite' something the Turtles knew all too well. "...I just got some news about the crucial ingredient needed for the antidote to the Fountain of Youth Potion...The nectar from a rare flower called the Scarlet Night Lily only known to grow two places, the Balkans and the Valley of the Unicorns believed to be in Central Asia…"
Jonathan rubbed his temples "Well that's just great…" He grumbled
"Yeah…" Don said "...At the very least this will require an expedition to the Balkans, which from what I've been told about this world has essentially become a No Man's Land, the untamed wilderness of Europe!"
Meanwhile on Third Earth Scruffles, was having a little 'Nighttime Flower Show' at her Penthouse, inviting any Mutant who wanted to see to come and see her beautiful new flowers! However her human family put a limitation on it just being a free-for-all just letting any Mutant Animals come into the penthouse.
"You can let your fellow students from the Martial Arts School come and see the flowers…" Said Madame Bodewell, but no one else!"
So Scruffles sent invites to all the students of Leo's Martial Arts School both of the Beginner and Advanced Class…
So Madame Bodewell had to take deep breaths when a large Timber Wolf Mutant and a Bengal Tigress came to the door!
As the Mutants watched the flowers open as night fell and glow like flames in scarlet and gold, Scruffles said to Lovelace "These are the best flowers I've ever had! I wish I could know where you found them…"
