Chapter 7: The Cat & Sock Zone:
The next morning, Catney and Saki led Void and Norton into their home. It was a beautiful home which had yellow bricks for walls and a red rooftop on the outside. Behind the house in the distance were beautiful green mountains filled with palm trees.
Catney reached into her pocket and took out her keys, she then placed the key into the lock and opened the front door for everyone to enter.
Once everyone was inside the house, Catney closed the door and locked it from the inside. She then walked up next to Saki and introduced the robots to their temporary safe house.
"Well, here we are, welcome to my home. Feel free to look around and make yourself comfortable. If you ever need anything, please let us know." Catney said as she smiled and waved her hand around the room; gesturing the robots to explore.
"Thank you ladies." Norton responded as he decided to walk around the living room with Saki as she gave him the grand tour of the house. Void on the other hand walked straight up to Catney and asked her,
"Excuse me miss Catney... do you by any chance have a computer? I would like to send a telescreen message to some of my anti-virus friends. Please?" Void asked while looking nervous.
Catney smiled, "Sure, my computer is upstairs. 2nd door to your right." She responded as she pointed upstairs.
"Thank you Catney, I really do appreciate it." Void said as he bowed down towards her.
After the bow, Void walked up the stairs and into the cat girl's room, where he found her computer was opened and saw a new video was being rendered on her screen; through a program that appears to be called Hitfilm Express.
He looked closely on the video that was rendering and said in shock, "SNT!! Oh my god, you're here. I knew I would find you again. I'll get you out of there, I promise."
Void hesitated to touch Catney's computer; as he didn't know how to use a video editor, led alone how to make movies.
As Void stared at the keyboard of the computer. Catney walked into her room and stood next to Void.
"Oh, hi Catney. Than goodness you're here. Please help me get SNT out of there. She's I grave danger." Void said as he started to panic.
Catney giggled, "Silly robot, that's just a video that I filmed with SNT 2 weeks ago, she's not trapped in the video."
Void bowed his head ashamed and dumbfounded. "I'm sorry."
Catney placed her hand on the robot's shoulder, "It's okay Void, we all make mistakes." She then reached for the keyboard and began to type in a program called Skope.
"So Catney, I take it you're here to join me for my video call with the U.A.V?"
"Of course, you are using my computer after all. Let me just sign in with my username and password and i'll let you use Skope to make your video call." Catney said as she finished typing on her keyboard. She then stood next to Void as they came into contact with 2 ministers of the U.A.V.
One minister wore dark blue and silver armor with a blue cape and a red, blue, green and yellow colored logo, while the other minister wore orange and silver armor and an orange cape with its own respected logo. It was Ministers Avast & AVG.
"Attention, this is minister AVG of the United Anti-Virus movement. Who am I speaking to on this frequency?" AVG asked,
"Minister AVG. It's me, Void ranger. I've been hiding in the United Lols of Roflica to keep myself hidden from Content Control." Void said as he spoke into Catney's microphone.
"Ah yes. The b*s that turned minister Avira into a brain dead coconut. We are all aware of what happened to him. Has he made a full recovery?" Minister Avast questioned.
"Last I remembered, he was reformatted back to factory settings." Void responded.
"Good. At least Avira can finally forget about the incident that happened hours ago. And it's all thanks to you." Avast said as he and AVG bowed down to Void in unison.
Catney giggled as Void bowed back towards the screen, "You're most welcome ministers. I'm always happy to help."
Minister AVG then turned his attention towards Courtney. "Welcome back Courtney (ProjectSNT). Would you like for me to run a system scan on your computer?"
Catney took a few steps back and put her hands over her mouth as she was shocked to hear AVG speaking to her, "Wait a minute! What the hell?! How do you know my name?!!! Have you been spying on me this whole entire time? How much do you know about me?!!"
AVG smirked, "We are anti-viruses, miss ProjectSNT. Tis our job to ensure a safe and secure online experience for all computer users. Every anti-virus of the U.A.V must monitor every computer on this planet to reduce any malware infecting your system. Does that answer your question, miss ProjectSNT?"
Courtney was offended by AVG's response and how the U.A.V got away with spying on her and millions of users worldwide for the past century or two. "CAN YOU NOT?!!! Are there any anti-viruses that DO NOT spy on you?!!!" She asked looking angry.
Void turned to Catney and placed his hands on her shoulders. "But Catney, listen to me. Without an anti-virus spying on your computer, you're leaving yourself open to attacks. Believe me, i've been protecting computers alongside these ministers for years. And the majority of infected computers that we usually disinfect come from users who do not use any anti-viruses." Void then got closer to Catney. "And sadly, SNT was one of those victims infected by malware... And now you know why i've been dating her for the past 2 years."
Catney took a few steps back as she placed her hands over her mouth again looking more shocked. "Wait!! What did you just say?!"
Void continued, "How come SNT still hasn't been infected by any viruses since her last infection 2 years ago against the love letter worm?! Hmm?" He then pointed his thumb towards his chest. "I am SNT's anti-virus. And without me, SNT will never stand a chance against malware in the computer world."
Catney slowly walked up towards Void and led out an angry growl, "You disgust me."
But just before she can lay her hands on the blue robot, Minister Avast spoke into the microphone to break up the confrontation. "Apologies mister Void, but can we please get back to the topic at hand?!"
Catney eventually decided against the idea of putting up a fight with Void since putting up a fight with very the robot who rescued her earlier wasn't worth it. She and the blue robot returned their attention towards the computer screen. "Oh yes, my apologies. So... Content Control, they started invading the United Lols of Roflica. They already arrested 2 of our programmers plus 2 ministers."
AVG was unamused, "Well... to be honest, i'm not surprised. Content Control has been trying to take us down for many years. All of this, because we revoked their serial codes and licenses."
Void started putting the puzzle pieces together, "I'm guessing they wanted to operate a company with pirated anti-virus software, and one of the ministers caught onto them and blackballed them before releasing their new terms and conditions."
Avast snapped his finger and swiped his hand towards the screen, "Exactly right. Minister Sophos caught on to what this company was doing and ordered the U.A.V to deactivate and revoke all their illegal serial codes. He later addressed the incident to the public and was met with immediate backlash by becoming the victim of the annoying Parrot virus; which was specifically designed to disable programs and commands... but most importantly, to insult Sophos."
"So these new rules came after the Parrot virus backlash?" Void asked as he was slowly starting to understand why Content Control was created in the first place.
"And today; this very company that pirated software from the U.A.V, infected one of our ministers and is now attempting to eliminate the United Anti-Virus movement from the face of the earth. Tis a group we all know... as Content Control." Avast concluded.
Void was shocked as he took a few steps back upon realizing, "And that's how they eventually joined forces with Optical Illusions!!!"
AVG nodded his head towards Void, "And now you finally understand why Content Control must be stopped. But fortunately for us, we devised a solution."
Catney took out a pen and paper from her desk and began taking notes.
"Firstly, we must infiltrate Content Control HQ. Then we must..."
But just before AVG could continue explaining his strategy, the doors of the U.A.V headquarters swung open and 2 moderators of Content Control entered the room where Avast and AVG were operating.
"Halt!!! This is Big Old Tori from Content Control!!! You ministers are under arrest for conspiracy to shut down Content Control!!!" One of the moderators shouted as both soldiers aimed their KA57 pencil guns at the ministers. "Put your hands behind your back and walk towards my voice!!!"
Terrified, both AVG and Avast slowly raised their hands in the air.
"132, we have both ministers at gun point. I repeat, 132, we have them at gun point." Big Old Tori said as he grabbed his walkie talkie and radioed his updates to Content Control. After placing the walkie talkie back to his belt, he shouted at the ministers, "Put your hands up in the air, put your hands up... in the air!!!"
But AVG smirked, "Oh yeah? Well here then, have some adware!!!" He then grabbed a bucket of junk mail and threw it towards the moderators causing the junk mail to fly around Content Control relentlessly.
As Content Control was trapped inside a cloud full of junk mail, Avast and AVG made their escape and ran towards the office room on the opposite end of the hallway. They then opened up a nearby laptop and quickly launched the Skope software to resume their call with Void and Catney.
"My apologies Void ranger, but we seem to have some unauthorized personnel within the U.A.V headquarters. But is there anything else you need?" AVG asked as he and Avast were trying to catch their breath.
Void approached the computer screen and took out the missing person's report showing Vic's picture on the front page. "Yes. I saw this missing person poster at Sonic Revolt., and I was wondering if you know anyone by the name of Vic Kuroslov?"
AVG was shocked while Avast was outraged, "WHAT?!!! VIC WENT MISSING?!!! WHEN DID THIS HAPPEN?!!!" Avast Shouted,
"I'm not quite sure. Do you ministers have any idea where he could be hiding?" Void wondered.
AVG stepped forward and gave Void a very stern look. "Yes, I know exactly where this boy is hiding. I was his anti-virus before he got kidnapped by Content Control. His last transmission from those jack of eights mentioned a special place which we like to call... Content Control HQ."
"You better find him quickly if you want to bring him back alive." Avast concluded while looking concerned for Vic's safety.
Void bowed before the ministers once again, "Thank you for the much needed information ministers. I really do appreciate it. And good luck with disabling Content Control."
"Also with you, and may the firewalls protect you." Avast said as he and AVG bowed back towards the robot and the cat girl before ending the call.
As Catney clicked on her computer to close her Skope program, she and Void suddenly heard the doorbell ring.
"I'll get it!!!" Saki yelled from downstairs as she ran to open the door.
But suddenly, just as Saki unlocked the door and opened it, a group of armed soldiers armed with KA57 Sovette pencil guns barged into the house and pistol-whipped Saki's head; causing her to fall to the floor.
The soldiers then ran upstairs into Catney's room and aimed their guns towards both Void and Catney.
Shocked and outraged, Void drew his sword and shouted, "Catney!! Get behind me!!!"
Without hesitating, she grabbed onto Void for dear life as he swung his sword left and right; gesturing the soldiers to stay back.
But one soldier who wore black and red armor and had black bat wings was unphased by this and shot a Stuxnet capsule towards the pair; K.Oing both Void and Catney, and injuring them simultaneously.
"Missing accomplished gentlemen... now bind them and bring them before me." Dragon growled as he walked downstairs towards the living room.
The dragons then proceeded to tie up the pair with some rope and gag Catney with a cloth. They then picked up the robot and cat girl and carried them downstairs where Saki was also found bound and gagged and Norton K.Oed on the sofa.
The dragons then reached into Void's belt and removed every single weapon that he was armed with and placed them onto the kitchen table.
As the dragons lined up in a single file by the tied-up prisoners, Dragon slowly approached the living room and sprouted his wings in fury. He was ready for round 2 with his own stepson.
"Well well well, look who finally decides to show his face again...Void Ranger. Welcome back my stepson, I've been waiting for you." Dragon laughed as he circled the 4 victims.
Void lifted his head in anger and yelled, "What the hell do you want?!"
Dragon lifted his hand and pointed his finger towards his stepson. "You and your friends have something that I'm searching for. And if you don't want any innocent people to be harmed, you will follow my instructions. Do we understand each other?" Dragon threatened.
Both Catney and Saki tried screaming through their gags simultaneously, "MMMMMMMMMPH!!!! HMMM MMMM!!!!"
Void looked back at Dragon unimpressed, "Do you honestly think I'm gonna help you after all the abuse you put me through over the last couple of years? Ha! Never in a million years!!! Now let my friends go! This vendetta is between you and me!!"
But instead of listening to his stepson's demands, Dragon walked up towards the kitchen table and grabbed one of Void's conveniently placed weapons that were confiscated by the dragons.
Dragon took a careful look at the electro shock blade and smiled admiring the magnificence of the sword's design. His face then suddenly turned to anger as his head turned towards Void.
Void was shocked and terrified to witness the weapon that Dragon took from the table.
"Do you recognize this weapon, my stepson? Tis called the network tap." Dragon said as he swung the short-bladed sword in multiple angles at top speed before coming to a stop. "From what I've gathered from your weapons inventory; tis a weapon that can electrocute any software or machinery and reverse engineer it's code against it's victims."
Dragon then walked towards Catney and Saki who were trying to get free from the ropes and aimed the blade between their necks. Catney and Saki looked up towards Dragon looking frightened.
"NNNNNNNNNNNNNPH HMMMMMMMMMMM!!!" Catney and Saki muffled in unison.
"I could perform some electro shock therapy on these 2 beautiful girls... but it would be more satisfying to zap you instead." Dragon laughed as he waved the blade towards Void's neck.
As the dragons walked over to Void to pick him up and hold him down as Dragon was preparing to electrocute him, Norton slowly woke up from his injuries and roared as loud as he could as he drew his sword towards Dragon's soldiers, "ENOUGH!!! THERE WILL BE NO SHOCK THERAPY WHILE I'M STILL PRESENT IN MEMORY!!!"
Dragon hesitated to lower the network tap sword, but he eventually decided to let Norton speak while lowering Void's weapon.
"Now tell me, what in the hell are you searching for?" Norton demanded as he and Dragon slowly circled around the living room.
Dragon then took out a piece of paper from his pocket and showed it to all 4 victims who were present in the room. "Alright you poor simple fools, who is the boy with the blue shirt, brown pants and has black hair?"
Feeling defeated, Void took a deep breath and confessed to his stepfather, "Vic Dos Kuroslov... son of the late Doctor Remus White. A former senior supervisor for Macrosoft as well as the United Anti-Virus movement."
Dragon approached his stepson with a stern look in his eye, "So you do know this boy!!! Tell me, why do you and this boy look so... familiar?!!"
Void looked back at his stepfather confused, "How should I know? I never even met this boy before. All I know from minister AVG is that he got kidnapped by Content Control and who knows what the hell they're doing to him."
Furious, Dragon drops the network tap and draws his own sword. He then grabs for Void's throat and quickly aims his sword towards his stepson's throat. "You lie!!! Content Control would never kidnap innocent people and torture them against their will!!! It's impossible!!!"
Void looks deep into Dragon's eyes with a stern look on his face. "If you're working for them, and you're following their orders... Why don't you ask the robot you call 'your boss'?"
Filled with anger, Dragon sword whips the side of Void's head causing the blue robot to fall to the floor. Dragon then walks up to Saki and pulls out his KA578 pencil gun. He then aims the pencil gun at Saki's forehead.
"MMMMMMMMMMPH!!!! NNNNNNNNNNN!!!!" Saki and Catney muffled as they shook their heads as they continued struggling to get free.
"Listen here you pathetic excuse for a stepson. You are going to help me find and recover this... Vic Kuroslov, and bring him to me alive!!!" Dragon then loaded a Stuxnet capsule inside the KA57's barrel. "And if you should either fail, refuse to co-operate or if you report us to the police; you will never see these pathetic little girls again!!!" Dragon threatened.
Void snickered and laughed at his stepfather's demands, "Tell you what stepfather... How about we battle it out; the next time we cross paths, you let us go and no one gets hurt?!"
Dragon then walked away from the girls and turned his back towards his stepson. He then closed his eyes and responded, "Such a pity. Dragons... delete them."
"MMMMMMMMMPH!!!! NNNNNNNNNNN!!!! HMMMMMMMMMMM!!!' Catney and Saki muffled in unison as loud as they could.
But suddenly, unbeknownst to Dragon; Void was secretly loosening up his ropes. He then reached for the network tap and tried to stab his stepfather from behind.
But Dragon anticipated his stepson's aggressiveness that he sidestepped just as Void tried to stab Dragon. They both then clashed swords with each other as they tried to draw blood from each other's torso.
Void however didn't want to waste his energy against his stepfather. With quick thinking, Void grabbed a thermal cartridge and loaded it into the base of his sword.
As Dragon was ready to take to the air to perform a downward stab, Void swung his sword into the air and performed an energy beam; hitting Dragon and K.Oing him instantly. Void then used his energy beam and swung his sword around the room, injuring every soldier that stood in his way.
With Dragon down but not yet out, Void walked towards Courtney and Saki and untied the ropes from their wrists. They then removed the cloth from their mouths and hugged Void as he comforted the terrified girls.
"J*s f*ng c*t! Did you just f*ng kill that guy?!!!" Saki shouted looking terrified as she looked down towards Dragon.
"No Saki. I did however incapacitate him. He should be down and out for a couple of hours." Void responded.
Saki then let go of the blue robot, but Catney then grabbed Void by his chest and held onto him for dear life, "Oh my god! Thank you for saving us, and "I thought we were goners!!!"
Void held onto Courtney by her waste. "Courtney, I'll always be happy to help you and Saki. And remember, you promised me you were gonna help me find SNT. Don't you remember?"
Saki and Catney smiled at each other before looking back at Void.
"Well... now that those f*ng b*s are K.Oed, where the f*k do we go from here? It's not safe for anywhere anymore." Saki questioned,
Void turned his attention towards the orange haired girl with the wing pin, "Well... to be honest, I'm afraid we cannot hide from Content Control forever. If we have to, we need to find a hideout that's safe and secure for all of us."
Void then turned towards minister Norton, "What say you minister Norton, do you have any ideas?"
Norton placed his hand under his chin and thought for a moment. "Hmm... as a matter of fact, I think I know one good hideout where we can keep ourselves out of sight... ClamWin HQ."
Void smiled in delight, "ClamWin?!! Of course! Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get the hell out of here!!!" Void shouted happily as he, Norton and the girls ran off by the front door and made their escape.
An hour later, Void and his friends we long gone. Dragon laid down onto the living room floor, still K.Oed.
Dragon then slowly got to his feet and began to check his body for any injuries. He then looked around the room to asses the damage and saw all of his men were injured and K.Oed.
Suddenly, the phone in the kitchen began to ring. Weirded out, Dragon slowly walked towards the phone to pick it up, only to hear a familiar voice on the other end trying to order from a fast-food restaurant. "This is Dragon ranger of Content Control, who is speaking?"
"I'll have two number 9s, a number 9 large. A number six with extra dip. A number seven, two number 45s with one cheese... and a large soda." Said Webroot as he was placing his order.
Unimpressed, Dragon answered the call with anger, "Sir... this is Content Control, not a fast-food joint!!"
Furious, Dragon slammed the phone back into the receiver and led out a mighty roar that sounded like a true dragon. He then flapped his wings and took to the sky; leaving all of his fellow soldiers K.Oed and still inside Catney's house.
Meanwhile, at ClamWin HQ, a couple of workers were painting the front of the building with purple white paint. As the workers were painting, A purple and silver looking minister with a clam logo and a purple cape named Mistress ClamWin was watching everything unfold before her eyes.
Suddenly, she heard a familiar voice that only she knew too well.
"Mistress ClamWin!!!" Minister Norton shouted,
ClamWin walked away from the paint sight and noticed both Void and Norton along with 2 girls running towards her.
ClamWin ran towards Norton and gave him a hug, "Minister Norton, tis wonderful to see you again!!!" She shouted.
After the hug, both Norton and ClamWin bowed down towards each other, "Likewise mistress ClamWin, likewise."
Once the bowing stopped, both Norton and ClamWin began to communicate to each other in binary.
"01101101 01101001 01101110 01101001 01110011 01110100 01100101 01110010 00100000"
(Minister Norton, i'm afraid I bring some bad news. We just received word that Content Control has invaded the United Lols of Roflica.) ClamWin frowned.
"01111001 01100101 01110011 00101100 00100000 01101001 00100000 01100001"
(Yes, I am aware. They arrested 2 programmers and 2 ministers of the United Anti-Virus Movement, and they'll come after us next if we're not careful) Norton responded.
Saki and Catney were weirded out by their mysterious language. They slowly walked up to Void and demanded answers.
"Void? What the f*k are they talking about? Can these f*rs speak English?!!" Saki shouted.
"Yeah... this language of theirs is getting pretty weird." Catney admitted.
Void turned his head towards the girls and responded, "Tis a language called binary. Tis a coding system that uses digits such as zero and one to represent a letter, digit or other characters in a computer or other electronic device."
Saki then shouted loudly at the top of her lungs, "ENGLISH MOTHER F*RS!!! DO YOU SPEAK IT?!!!"
"01100001 01101110 01100100 00100000 01101010 01110101 01110011"
(And just this morning, we received a radio transmission directly from content control. You need to hear this.) ClamWin responded as she took out a walkie talkie from her belt and played a radio message from a familiar news agency.
"This is Quant from Content Control with a breaking news flash. Our top story at this hour, police need your help to search for a young blue robot with a blue cap, blue armor and a yellow cape. If any of you have any information that can lead us to the arrest of this blue little robot, dial 911 immediately.
In other news, 5 robots resembling the blue boy have been arrested by Content Control. Police have located the multi colored robots somewhere in an elementary school in the United Lols of Roflica. Thus, the suspects have been captured and no injuries have been reported. This is Content Control... signing off." Quant announced before the signal turned to static.
ClamWin then placed her walkie talkie back into her belt and gave her guests a stern look.
Void was shocked upon hearing the news, "Wait a minute!! Are you telling me that the Axer Rangers got arrested back at the United Lols of Roflica?!!!"
ClamWin responded by bowing her head in sadness. "I'm afraid so little one...But tis still a good thing you managed to show up to my headquarters; or else you would have all been executed by Content Control."
Void bowed his head in sadness and began to cry. "Dammit... I can't believe I failed. Why did it have to be them? Not me?!!!"
Courtney slowly walked up to him and placed her hands on his shoulders, "Void, don't beat yourself up over this!!! It's not your fault!!! It was Content Control who took them away from us! And if we don't stop them soon, they're going to censor the entire world!!!"
Suddenly, Saki shoved Catney to the side and grabbed Void's body and shook him around crazily, "Listen here you f*r!!! I'm not gonna stand here and watch you suffer! You better grow some f*ng balls!!! Be a man and stand up for yourself, you metallic piece of sh*t!!!"
Saki then let go of Void as he felt slightly disoriented after being shook up by Saki. He then shook his head and eventually gave the girls a determined look.
"You know something... you're right! There's no time to be sitting around and moping. Besides, I know where Vic is being held. We just have to find him and stop Content Control as soon as possible." Void said as he walked towards the 2 girls.
But ClamWin still had her concerns, "But how are we gonna save them? Content Control has cut off all communications from the outside world."
Void turned his head towards ClamWin and smirked, "We don't need help from the outside world. Because I know exactly where Vic is... Content Control HQ."
