Hell's Angel

Here comes chapter 2, most of this chapter is going to be set up for the main story, that said I'm going to play around a bit with both biblical lore as well as the basic rules of the Hazbin Universe. Just a heads up.

Side note, I'm sorry this is so far behind. Both life and my Laptop have been giving me trouble so it's a slow going.

That said I feel it neccisary for my to mention lots of artist who are looking to bring some of my stores to life in cover art form. I unfortunatly am unable to ask for commisions however I have looked over their works and want to call them out here for anyone who are looking to have a piece done!

Chapter 2: Introductions

How long had it been sense he last felt it. Centuries? Millennia? Who could know, but he felt it here. Gabriel manifested his form in Hell, something he hadn't needed to do almost sense the exterminations had started. His form was human enough inspite of him being ten foot tall. He had long sense exchanged his robes for a bussiness suit minus the blazer so that his six glorious wings were on display. Like all who had the blood of divinity his eyes were a golden copper color as was his tied back hair.

The exterminations. They had always left a bad taste in Gabriel's mouth. Overpopulation is indeed a concern but he knew that the idea of an army rising up against Heaven was next to laughable, there was only one way to find Heaven without a guide and he always had it with him. The idea of killing off a soul sickened him to his core and the only reason he even played along with this little farce was that he knew a truth that no one else in Heaven or Hell did.

As one of the seven original children of God he and his siblings were older than time itself, second only to Father and Mother themselves. In that time and as the one who carries the horn and all the knowledge that they both wanted his lambs to have. With that comes having the knowledge that they wanted no one to ever know. Souls don't die.

A soul in the land of the living is a human and they can die, but to kill a soul is to cleanse it, return it to a pure flame that will eventually find it's way back to earth and will be reborn. Perhaps as a new person but the soul is the same and given a new chance.

"Oh hey... Sir..."

Gabriel's attention was drawn down to the manchild that, for some unknown reason was God's favored human. Reaching down he peeled off the woman from Adam's side and held her close to his chest, not unlike a father would a frighted child. "Come now my dear, tell me what's happened."

His voice echoed just as strongly as his horn, calming her mind enough for her babling nonsese to become coherent. "An angel, at least I think he's an angel... I thought he was one of us at first! An exterminator! But he protected two demon women... I was going to attack him, run him threw with my spear, but it broke on his wings!

"Then... then I looked into his eyes, those terrifing golden green eyes. I-I saw things. Demons... the sinners while they were still human... I saw their lives as they had lived them. I-I... I-I j-just couldn't..."

Stroking her hair Garbiel said, "You saw the lives of the damn who didn't have a chance." Tears filled the eyes of the angel before she buried her face in his shirt.

"The hell is she talking about?" Adam asked before flinching at the look Gabiel gave him. Adam was a proud man, he was the Dickmaster after all, but even he knew that the Archangels were not one's to be messed with.

Turning back to the woman Garbiel asked, "Where did this happen?"

When the woman couldn't answer Lute stepped up and was about to tear into her soilder but the same withering look from Garbiel stopped her. Clearing her throat and checking the logs she said, "She was in sector 15 sir." The utterly lost look on his face caused her to blush slightly before correcting herself, "Um... I think it was the 1600 block of... LilithGrove dr."

"That was like 15 minutes ago so unless he's brian dead I doubt he's still be there." Adam said with a sneer, "Don't worry boss, my Bitches and I can handle one little upstart no problem!"

"Fall back."

"What?" Adam and Lute both said in shock.

"I said Fall back," Gabriel said as he handed the woman off to another Exterminator. "This is something that requires my attention and I don't want to risk anymore angels until this is sorted." Adam wanted to argue but he couldn't so he gave the order, sending a bit of venom towards the one who started all this.

"Oh and Adam," he turned around just in time to see eight glowing eyes and a wind so strong it was actually visible as Gabriel locked eyes with Adam, "Do make sure nothing happens to that poor woman. None of this was her fault after all."

"Y-yes Sir." Adam hadn't really felt fear after his death, he was God's favorite so what did he really have to worry about in Heaven, but Gabriel did it easily.

*Elsewhere*

Flying had come a lot easier to Izuku than he thought it would. Flying smoothly while carrying a woman was infinitly harder but he was managing. Halfway to where Charlie had pointed out he had almost run into two little goat demons, and it was only Charlie calming them down that stopped them from attacking. Thankfully now they were flittering around him to keep any of the other Exterminators away.

In their short flight Charlie had been giving him a short introduction to hell and it's hierarchy. Izuku had an instant interest in the idea of a hotel that catered to sinners who wanted to better thenselves and try to get into Heaven.

"I think that's a wonderful idea Charlie-San," Izuku said as he slowly began his desent onto the Happy Hotel courtyard, "I'd be happy to help in any way I can." Izuku couldn't help but have sympathy for the stunned look on the poor woman's face, obviously she didn't really have many people who believed in her either.

With a slightly rough landing Charlie was bouncing in joy as she grabbed Izuku by his hand and drug him to the front doors, only for said doors to slam open and a red and grey blur to rush into Charlie.

"CHARLIE!" the woman yelled as she looked over Charlie, "Where have you been! Extermination day has been going on for a few hours and when you didn't get here on time I almost went rushing out to find you! I was so worried I-" just then she noticed, with a mild bit of horror at the softly glowing wings, the green haired boy that was stairing at her in interest.

"O-Oh um... Hi, I'm Izuku Midoriya." He said as he took a good look at the woman before him. She was slightly taller than him with white grey hair hanging down almost to her knees. She was dress in a black skirt with a red blouse, no doubt the uniform for the hotel. Because he still didn't fully understand how his new powers worked, and because he felt something coming from her that was familiar, Izuku avoided eye contact.

Seeing Vaggie about to lunge Charlie quickly stepped in and said, "Wait wait, I know what you're thing but he isn't an Exterminator! He's... I'm not sure what he is really but I know he's not her to hurt any of us!"

"Sweetie, how could you possibly know that? He's an Angel!" Vaggie said, already pulling out her spear, something Izuku quickly took notice of.

"He saved us!" Charlie said quickly, "He stepped in and knocked away an Exterminator, he saved me and Odette Carmine. He even managed to fly me here!"

"He... knocked away an Exterminator? That's it?" Vaggie questioned, never dropping her spear, "How exactly did that save you two?" It wasn't that she didn't believe her girlfriend but that seemed a little too easy.

"I-I somehow broke her spear while doing it..." Izuku added, fighting back his stuttering as he did so, "I also did something toher when I looked into her eyes, I just don't know what."

"Wait, is that why you've been looking at her hands this whole time?" Charlie asked.

"Yeah, I'm still not sure how I did it and down't want to do it again on accident."

Vaggie had a number of thoughts run threw her mind at the same time, none of them good all things considered. On one hand he was obvioulsly not an Exterminator considering he was dressed like... that... On the other hand she had no idea what he coulld do.

"Show me." Vaggie finally said, having come to the conclusion that she wasn't going to be able to do anything if she didn't first know what he could do. Seeing the fightened look on his face she quickly added, "Don't panic. IF i'm going to trust you around Charlie or the hotel I need to know what you can do or if you're a threat."

"Oh I don't think that will be necessary," came a voice that drew everyone's attention. Turning around all three found Gabriel watching them, gently holdning off both Razzle and Dazzle.

Both Charlie and Vaggie recognized the Archangel in an instant and took a step back. Izuku didn't but on seeing both women scared he steped before him and shakily asked, "I-Is there something I can do for you?"

In a single step Gabriel stood before Izuku and was impressed that he made not move to back away inspite his obvious fear. "I believe you can young man. Tell me, were you the one who drove off one of my angels?"

"I am," Izuku admitted while shaking like a leaf, "I don't know what I did but I couldn't just let her hurt Charlie-san or Odette-san."

"Very admirable young man, and you have my thanks for saving my niece." Both Izuku and Vaggie both gaped as Charlie just blinked in surprise, "I know that we have much to discuss but we'll need to save that for later. In the here and now, young man I need you to tell me exactly what it is that you did."

Izuku gulped lightly as he said, "I looked into her eyes." Before Gabriel could ask for more infromation Izuku's old habit of analizing kicked in, "I don't know what exactly it was that she saw but what ever it was unsettled her greatly. She was obviously scared by the experiance but the lack of screaming and the haunted look in her eyes, even threw that weird mask of hers, leads me to think that see saw something that she just couldn't handle... I-"

"You said she was haunted but was still able to leave?" Gabriel interupted quickly. 'So it's not what I thought it was then...' he thought to himself. "Did anything else happen?"

"I felt stronger, like some unknown energy entered my eyes and body, I wouldn't have had the raw strength to carry two women so high for so long, never mind carrrying Charlie for even longer afterwards." Izuku did his best to ignore the annoyed look that Charlie was shooting him. 'I wasn't saying she's heavy, just that I'm weak!'

Gabriel gave a soft hum as he mulled over what he had just heard. "Young man, I'm going to ask you to use your new powers on me. Not unlike your... friend over there I need to know exactly what it is that you have done.," Vaggie actually flinched at the look Gabriel had given her. He knew the truth, he knew she knew that he knew, and she knew that an uncomfortable conversation was in the very near future.

"Am I in trouble?" Izuku asked, "If I am, please only punish me and not Charlie-san. She's trying to do something really good here and I don't want anything to happen to her because of me..."

Gabriel laughed softly as he said, "Young man you are not in any trouble. Never in the agreement did it say that you couldn't defend yourselves. I just need to see it for myself. The power you described is reminiscent of something from long ago, but the way you discribed it is very diffrent."

All though he was still hissitant to use a power that he still didn't understand, Izuku knew a polite comand when he heard one. So with more than a bit of trepidation he locked eyes with the glowing Archangel.

Existance fell way with in the glowing gold and green. Gabriel could see it... Could feel it... The pain and suffering of all that he had to strike down. The Sins that he had commited in the name of his father. The countless eons of his existance laid before him and if not for his divinity and sheer will would have drug him to his knees to weep.

There was no doubt in his mind anymore. This was not the Penance Stare that he had once thought it to be. It was something far stronger, far more pure, far more divine... In the gaze where he should have felt the desire for vengence, he felt only the desire for reconciliation. Where there should have been retribution, there was rehabilitaion. Justice for the weak and care and patientce for the broken.

Gabriel blinked before he managed to say, "Young man, I have seen the power you now wield so now I must see who you are. Please understand that the gift you now wield is something that would be dangerous in the wrond hands, and even in the right hands could bring ruin. If you are to keep and use it, I must know all about you."

For as intelligent as Izuku was he didn't need to be a genius to know that if he was judged badly that he would be destroyed, seeing Gabriel's hand move slightly into an attack possition certainly didn't help. Never the less Izuku could just feel just how serious Gabriel was at the moment so with a nod the two locked eyes again.

Unlike what he usually had Gabriel's eyes were glowing a soft purple as he saw everything that was Izuku Midoriya, and he was pleased beyond measure. He had never seen a human soul so pure before, blessed be some Angels couldn't even boast about being so innocent.

Izuku Midoriya wanted power, so that he could save people. Wanted to be known world wide, so that when anyone saw him they would feel safe. Wanted to spend the rest of his life fighting the forces of evil so that he could save as many as he could from both sides.

Gabriel broke their trance but before he could say a single word a melodious voice cut in. "Hello Brother, and what brings you to my lovely plain of existance?"
