After the gunshot Antonio felt his blood go cold, had he just heard Hank get murdered? He was frozen to his spot. The senior detective finally managed to move and tried to get his voice back. Everyone in the squad had looked at him.

"Tony what'd he want?" Jay asked.

Taking a deep breath he let it out. "He wants to do a trade. Hank for Dani"

"We can't do that, he'll kill Dani" Erin says, her voice shaking.

"There was...I heard a gunshot and then the phone went out"

Erin couldn't take it and went to the lounge, Jay followed her. Antonio had no idea what he was gonna do. He had to find his boss and he most definitely wasn't gonna put a child in harms way. Not a chance in hell.

"Mouse, was there a way to trace the call?" He looked to the tech.

"Yes. I got a location, looks to be a house near the docks. Address sent to you're phones"

"Let's gear up"

They had gone to gear up. They were getting their strong and fearless leader back.

While

Marco made sure to leave the phone there at the house so he can set up the team. He had his boys moving Hank to another location. He had others looking for Dani but no luck.

"She's a six-year-old! She can't just disappear without a trace!" Marco yelled.

"We don't know where they took her, we can't find her" One guy, Jorge, said.

Marco went to Hank as he was being moved. "Where's Dani?"

"S-screw...You" He panted.

The young gangster had punched Hank across the face. "Don't tell me. When you're team dies the only person you'll have to blame is yourself"

Hank scowled. "Leave them out of this"

"Or what? You're handcuffed"

"You'll die by my hands if you touch my team or my daughter"

"Nah bro, she's mine"

"Do whatever you want to me Marco. Leave Dani and my team alone"

He looked at his guys. "Get his old ass out of my sight"

They moved the older man out and put him in a van. Marco followed them, Others had stayed hidden. They had gone to one of Marco's other houses.

Shortly after the Intelligence team had arrived at the house, they were all getting a bad feeling about this. As all of them were out of their cars gunshots started ringing out from the house.

Meanwhile

Adam and Kevin were at one of the CPD safe houses, nobody knew where they were. They made a couple stops to get groceries and other supplies they'll need. The second stop was to get Dani some food. Dani ate what she could of her burger and her nuggets before putting the rest away.

Once they were safely inside Kevin went and did a perimeter run of the house, Adam got Dani settled. The little girl was scared, she just wanted her father and wanted to go home.

The young detective had set some toys up in the living room for her. "There ya go sweet pea"

"I wanna go home Addy" She pouted.

"I know you do honey but right now it's not safe until we catch Marco"

"Why can't I help find my daddy?"

"It's very very dangerous for a little girl like you"

"But I wanna help"

"I'm sorry D, you're daddy would want you to stay safe and not get involved"

The young girl sat down in front of her toys and quietly played. Adam got to work putting the groceries and supplies away. Kevin came in.

"Area is clear," Kevin told his partner.

"That's one problem solved" Adam replies, putting the stuff away.

"How is she?"

"Misses Hank and wants to help finding him"

The young detective had raised his eye but didn't say anything. His phone went off with a message from Mouse. The look on his face had changed and he slowly put his phone down. Adam saw the look on his face change.

"What is it?"

"Marco wants to do a trade" Kevin lowered his voice. "Hank for Dani"

"What?!"

He was loud; it had caught the young girl's attention from the living room. Kevin smacked his arm.

"Keep it down"

"They can't do that," Adam had lowered his voice.

"Mouse also said Antonio said he heard a gunshot before the phone went out"

That had caused Adam's heart to sink, he felt as if he was gonna throw up, Was their boss...dead? Were they gonna have to tell Dani her father was gone?

"Did they say if Hank..?"

"Nothing"

Adam had run a tired hand down his face. "I can't believe this. What the hell do we tell Dani?"

"For now, nothing. We let the others work. Our main focus is guarding and protecting Dani"

What neither man knew was that Dani was at the door way of the kitchen listening to them. Tears leaked from her eyes. Was her father dead? Would she be an orphan again? She had run from the doorway to one of the rooms upstairs and slammed the door.

The two young detectives heard the slam and sighed, the six-year-old had heard them. Great. How the hell were they gonna explain this?

While

The remaining Intelligence team members were under fire at the house, they all had taken cover behind their vehicles. Antonio grabbed his radio and held the button on it.

"This is 5021 David, 10-13 shots fired at the police! I need back up en route to my location! I repeat I need back up to my location!" He yelled into the radio.

"10-4 back up en route. ETA is about three minutes away"

Jay and Erin managed to come out slightly and get some shots fired off, one of Jay's shots had got one of the shooters. Soon the streets were filled with police cars as they all got out and took cover and started shooting at the house.

Antonio and Jay then ran towards the house ducking for cover making sure they didn't get hit. The two ran towards the door, Jay got in front of the door and kicked it from behind.

Once the door was bashed in Antonio tackled Jay to the ground seeing another shooter, Erin had come up and shot the shooter. Another one was taking off out the back door.

"Stop! Police!" Erin yelled, running after him. She grabbed her radio. "5021 George, I got an offender fleeing out the back door. Green shirt, blue jeans, red sneakers"

Kim was in the back and caught eye of him. "I got him Erin" She then started to chase after him. "Stop! Chicago Police!"

The young gang banger had manged to get a couple shots off at Kim but they missed, Jay and Antonio joined in on the chase and were running to cut him off. They had ended up catching up to him and they ran faster. Adrenaline coursing through their bodies.

Antonio had gotten closer when he managed to tackle him to the ground and cuff him. The young guy started to resist.

"Stop it! You're under arrest" Antonio cuffed him and yanked him up. "You're gonna tell us where your buddy Marco is"

"No English" He said sarcastically.

"We'll see about that"

They had taken him down to the district and put him in Interrogation.

While

Marco and his guys were at the current location, they brought Hank inside and tied him to a chair. They left Marco and Hank alone. They had gone to help look for Dani. Marco had swiftly walked to Hank.

"Ya know all this can just end if you give me what's mine" Marco spoke.

"I'd rather die than give you that little girl" Hank spat, he spit blood at him.

"You act as if that can't easily be arranged"

"Kill me and the entire CPD will hunt you down, my team included"

"Those assholes don't scare me"

"You have obviously never met my team"

"I do know one thing, when I get Dani back. We're getting out of this city and going somewhere else to start over. Every father needs an heir. She's mine"

"Like hell she is!"

Marco bashed Hank across the face, what Marco didn't know was that Hank was working on getting out of the ropes and soon the older man was free. He punched Marco back. The two men had ended up getting into a fight. Hank kept swinging throwing punch after punch. Marco had dropped the gun and it fell on the floor. The young gang banger kicked at the older man's ankles knocking him down. Hank had hit the ground hard; he was near the gun, he reached out and grabbed it.

Before he could get a shot fired off the two men started fighting over it and there was a loud BANG!
