Out on the Mountain Path,

Mandy, Sarah, and Hannah were looking for James and Norman everywhere around Pontypandy Mountain. They were worried that the snow would make it difficult for them to find the two. It was getting worse by the minute and they didn't know that there was a winter storm on the way and Sarah's hat blew away from the top of her head and Hannah's did too. Mandy managed to keep a firm hold on the hat until they found shelter. They soon felt the wind pick up around them. It was colder than the sea out there. "Oh, dear... I'd really wish we hadn't done this..." Said Mandy.

"Me too..." Sarah replied.

"Where could they be..." Hannah asked shivering.

"I don't know..."

"We need to find them... and fast..."

"Or we could call Fireman Sam..."

"We don't even know yet..."

"We better keep looking."

They kept looking until they saw someone's scarf in a bush. Mandy picked it up. "That must be Norman's. I wonder where he went?" Mandy asked looking around.

"I heard that, Mandy!" Norman angrily shouted.

"And thanks for finding my scarf."

"Anytime, Norman price."

"Now... Where's James?"

"That's why we're all looking for him. There's a possible snow storm on the way..."

"How could there be... Oh."

"Norman Price... This is serious."

"I know it's serious. We better find him..."

Hannah looked behind her and realized someone was missing. "Hold up... Where's Sarah?" She asked.

"Oh no... She's gone too. First James, Now Sarah... We need to hurry and find them."

Norman, Hannah, and Mandy all searched the mountains for the twins. They did find Sarah's hat and James' hat too. Everyone now realized that something happened to them.

On the road to Pontypandy,

Penny was just driving along the road when Venus had the GPS (Global Positioning System) reroute her towards Pontypandy Mountain. She turned towards the mountains and knew that Snow tyres were right for the job. She took the shortcut through Pontypandy Mountain. She then spotted footprints and followed them through the mountain footpath. It wasn't long until she saw Mandy, Norman, and Hannah signalling her to stop. "What's happened, kids? Is everything ok?" Penny asked.

"Sarah and James are missing. We can't find them anywhere. All we found are their hats." Mandy said passing her their hats.

"Ok... Which way do you think they went?"

"Towards the Mountain... I think."

"Alright... I think it's time you guys head on home. I'm thinking there's a snowstorm on the way."

Mandy nodded and then led Norman and Hannah down the footpath while Penny continued her mission to find the twins before the snow got even deeper for her and Venus.

Back at the Fire Station,

Ellie was reading the manual for Jupiter's Ladder for future reference. She did this on her own as Boyce didn't ask her to do it, but she needed to get it out of the way. Elvis was still working on the spare truck for Jupiter until Arnold was helping him with the lockers. Just then, they saw a man walk towards the station. He had a South Wales Fire and Rescue Service bag with him. "Uh... Hi. I'm looking for uh... my assigned unit with the crew of... Jupiter." He said.

Elvis pointed towards the logo of the Fire Service on Jupiter's door. He seems to be unhappy after Boyce told him off for the damage to their other rig earlier. "You found it." he told him.

"I'm your new guy... Jason Miller."

"Elvis Cridlington. Everyone here just calls me Elvis."

They both shook hands and then Arnold looked at him before introducing himself. "Erm... Arnold McKinley. People usually call me Arnold." He said.

"Jason Miller. Firefighter from South Wales... Recently left Newtown after my commanding officer of the engine I worked with transferred me out for no reason."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

Just as they were talking, Sam and Ellie came out to the sound of chatter from the garage and spotted Jupiter where Arnold and Elvis were chatting with their new crew member. "Why are you guys standing around here? I want those lockers stocked and tyres checked. Snowstorm on the way as Station Officer Steele called the weather station." Sam asked.

"Oh, uh... Firefighter Jones... I'm your new crew member. Jason Miller."

Sam looked at him. "Oh... Sorry. I didn't see you there. Jason, right?"

"Yeah. You got it."

"I heard I'll be covering for Firefighter Phillips?"

"Yeah... Long Story... We have the spare Jupiter until our current one will be sent back to us. I haven't had a chance to introduce myself. Sam Jones, Leading Firefighter of the Pontypandy Fire Service. Everyone calls me Sam, Firefighter Jones, or Fireman Sam. That depends."

"Pleasure to meet you, Sam. Anyway... I seem lost around here. Mind showing me around the Station?"

"I know someone who could do that."

Sam motioned for Ellie to come over to where he was. She did so and stood right by Sam. "Firefighter Jason Miller. Meet Firefighter Ellie Phillips. She will be giving you a tour of Pontypandy Fire Station. Of course, you already found the garage for our fire engines like Jupiter, Venus, Hydrus, Mercury, and Phoenix. I got to ask. Are you familiar with the vehicles, Jason?" Sam asked.

"Why, yes... I trained with this rig in Newtown and we actually are familiar with the same style you guys have for the ladder. I actually drove one of these in Newtown."

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"Amazing... Anyway, Ellie here will finish the tour of the station with you. I got two firefighters I need to watch."

Jason and Ellie went on to continue the tour of the station and Sam went to find Elvis and Arnold stocking Jupiter with the equipment for Winter rescues and everything else.

Out near the mountains,

Penny had been searching for hours looking for the twins around the entire area of Pontypandy Mountain. She had been driving for about 2 hours looking for them until she saw somebody in the snow. She saw a green sweater peeking out and then stopped Venus right by them. She knew who it was after she looked at the sight in front of her. "Hey... James... Sarah... You two ok?" Penny asked.

"Yeah... Sarah's... Tired... I'm cold..."

"I know, James... I know... I'll get you guys something to keep warm."

"Ok..."

Penny grabbed two blankets from venus with heat packs for them. She stayed by them in case there was a serious situation. Sarah was slowly warming up and Penny noticed it. She decided to take them to Venus, but hadn't made sure they were comfortable. "Sarah? James? You wanna come with me to Venus where it's nice and warm?" She asked.

Sarah and James agreed and they went to Venus with Penny. She can see that the snowstorm has gotten worse and Tom can't fly Wallaby 2 to their location. She decided to get them home. The twins were now in Venus with Penny and everyone made sure they were buckled in before they left. "Alright... You getting warm now?" Penny asked Sarah.

"Yeah..."

"Ok... Well... I better get you two home. Your mum and dad are probably worried right now. Alright?"

Sarah nodded and then Penny started the engine to Venus. She hit the accelerator and then the tyres spun until they were stuck. Penny noticed something was wrong and went out to check. "Ah... I think we're stuck." Penny thought to herself.

"What do we do now?" James asked.

"Well, I'm gonna try and get us out of the snow. I'll tell you if we need your Uncle Sam out here to help us."

"You sure?"

"Yeah... I'll do my best to get us out of this mess."

Penny grabbed a spade and went to work digging the tyres out of the snow. She knew that the tyres were buried in the snow and they needed to be free before she could drive the twins home. Sam knew that the snow was bad out there but didn't tell Penny before she left. They all knew time was running out and Penny needed to get the twins home and she needed to get back to the station.

At the Fire Station,

Jason and Ellie had finished the tour as Ellie was on light duty and Jason was helping her out with almost everything that she does with the trucks. Helen made sure Ellie was resting her wrist and Sam had came up to find out that Penny hadn't returned yet. "You guys haven't seen Penny come back yet?" Sam asked the three.

"No, Sam... We haven't." Jason told him.

"Nope, I don't see her." Helen said looking out the window.

"Nothing yet, Sam." Ellie replied.

"That's strange. Normally she takes a few minutes to shop and then comes back to the station."

"You're right, Sam. Does that mean there is a possibility she's stuck in the snow?"

"Possibly, Ellie. I think you're right."

"I'm going to tell Station Officer Steele."

Ellie went to find Station Officer Steele. He was looking at the map and had been looking for Venus but nothing is working as the snowstorm is cutting off the map signals for him and he was frustrated. "Station Officer Steele?" Ellie called.

"Yes, Firefighter Phillips. What's up?"

"Penny hasn't come back yet. Sam hasn't seen her return with Venus. The snowstorm is bad..."

"You're right, Ellie. Shame we can't use Saturn or Wallaby 2. We'll have to call the Police. I'll get the other firefighters ready. Ellie, Stay here and man the station. Call us if anything comes through."

"Roger that, sir."

Station Officer Steele activated the station Alarm and everyone raced to their lockers to grab their Search and Rescue gear. Sam went to Mercury after he got his uniform on and Elvis went to Jupiter with Jason. Helen went to the Mountain Rescue Ambulance and Arnold went to Hydrus while Station Officer Steele drove Phoenix. "Firefighter Miller. I need you and Cridlington to search the forests. Nurse Flood will take the mountain trails out by the Mountain Activity Center. Firefighter McKinley, you cover the lakes with the coast guard, and Fireman Sam and I will search the town with the Police." Steele radioed to everyone.

"Roger that, sir." Everyone replied.

The search was on to find Penny and it was almost Christmas as it was reading 5:00 in the evening and the sun was setting. They have no idea that the twins were also missing out on Pontypandy Mountain.
